An image slowly fades in as Eminem's "Never Enough" starts playing.
"No matter... HOW many battles I've been in and won" Looking completely unsatisfied and frustrated Storm stands up from the mat, and starts kicking the bottom rope in a wild fury. The fans continue to chant for Willmott when Storm digs into his own tights and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. "No matter how many magazines... on my nuts" Just as Willmott gets up from the mat clutching his shoulder, Storm charges forward, NAILING Storm directly in the temple with the brass knuckles. Not even attempting to conceal the weapon from the referee, Storm waves it in front of the referee’s face, laughing. Then, tossing them to the outside, Storm signals to the crowd. "No matter how many foes... I eat up" Dropping down to the mat, Storm applies his anaconda vice submission maneuver, known in LEGACY as the Long Kiss Goodnight, and not long after, the referee raises Willmott’s hand... and it drops to the mat lifelessly. He immediately calls for the bell. "Oh! Its NEVER." Cinching the submission maneuver in deeply, Willmott begins to stand up off of the mat, trying to subside his shoulder pain if only momentarily. Storm quickly starts searching various avenues for an escape before succumbing to the pain and crying out. Pushing up from the mat, Storm finds the typical ankle lock escape and rolls forward, almost turning it into a full body hurricanrana. Willmott releases the hold and on the full mount position Storm tries for something with Ray’s shoulder. Ray feels it coming though and lifts up with his legs, wraps them around the head of Storm, and pulls back. Storm flips backwards off of Ray, but immediately grabs Storm’s legs like he’s going for the sharpshooter. Stepping through, Storm criss-crosses the legs, and then turns over, completing the submission maneuver. "NEVER" Storm holds the maneuver in tightly, but before long, Willmott pushes up from the mat just like Storm did in the ankle lock. Storm trips up and falls forward, and Ray immediately begins wrapping his legs up in a sharpshooter of his own! "Never... enough" Sitting back on it, Willmott starts punching the bend in Eli’s knee repeatedly, tenderizing him in hopes of getting the submission victory. Storm screams out in pain, and just as he is about to get to the ropes, Ray stands up a little bit and pulls Storm into the center of the ring. Ray sits down on it again, and holds the maneuver in as best he can with his hurt shoulder. Continuously throwing stiff shots to the knee here and there, Ray screams at Storm to tap. Eli’s hand goes still for a moment... before he slams it repeatedly on the mat, tapping out. "Long as when I'm pushing up daisies and gone" With Eli Storm down in the center of the ring, Willmott gets up, and leans in the ropes with his shoulder still being clutched. Looking out at the audience, Willmott exits to the apron, and once again begins climbing to the top turnbuckle. "As long as you place me amongst one of them greats" As soon as Willmott ascends to the top rope, Willmott looks down at Storm, who has rolled onto his stomach and gotten on all fours. Not wasting another moment, Willmott leaps forward, spinning in a 450 degree motion, and NAILS the back of Storm’s head with his leg, turning the 450 splash into a 450 degree axe kick! Willmott gets to his feet quickly, and screams out to the audience, completely PUMPED for hitting that wild move. Looking around, Willmott then signals to the crowd, as Storm barely shows signs of consciousness by half-rolling to his side then back down to the mat. Turning Storm onto his stomach, Willmott steps through his right leg, and falls down on top of him. Then, slowly, methodically hooking his arm around Storm’s neck, Willmott WRENCHES back, completing the dragon sleeper and STF combo maneuver! Pulling back to the point where Willmott is almost standing on his knees on Eli, whose upper body is almost completely vertical up off the mat, Eli Storm taps on the mat for the second time in the match. We hit the chorus and hear familiar words from the opening, now being sung by Nate Dogg: "No matter how many battles I been in and won" Damien then grabs Gigantus and rams his head into a wall before taking him in the men's bathroom. Damien then potato punches Awesomo repeatedly before trying to force his head in the urinal. Gigantus struggles at first, but after Damien punches him in the back of the head, Gigantus goes face first into the urinal. Black gets up and tries to rip the automatic hand-dryer off the wall, but Gigantus comes to and smashes him face first into the sink. Gigantus then slams Damien's head into a mirror, causing glass to fly everywhere, and then throws him through the bathroom door. They continue to trade blows as they make it around to the parking garage. Gigantus "No matter how many magazines on my nuts" Several seconds pass before we see Gigantus Awesomo get up and stagger
to his feet somehow. It appears he doesn't even know where he is though.
We then see a bloody Damien Black emerge from the heap shortly afterwards.
He appears to be in a great deal of pain from the blood loss and punishment
in the match. Damien then sees a bloody piece of his own flesh hanging
off his head along with several embedded piece of glass and tacks and
picks the flesh off his head before he slowly makes his way toward Awesomo.
He then catches up to him and Awesomo begins to potato punch Black while Damien lays in some stiff kicks on Gigantus. Damien then hits a high roundhouse kick, crumpling Gigantus in a heap on the concrete. Damien is on spaghetti legs at this point. He woozily picks up Gigantus and puts him in a powerbomb position as he grabs Awesomo lifting him up in a cruifix powerbomb position and heaves him up over his head through another car window as Damien collapses in a heap shortly after executing the move. "Ooh ooh, it's never enough" Awesomo then stumbles out with the mask ripped all to shreds at this point. Damien slowly moves toward Awesomo despite the pain he's in and rips off the mask, wringing the blood out of his hair over the mask, unmasking Awesomo. Gigantus then sees his reflection and then quickly hides his face and stumbles away as Damien smirks to himself. Second verse starts as we hear 50-Cent. Cronos pulls Diego up to his feet and attempts a release German suplex, but Diego executes a back flip and lands on his feet. Diego charges at him and attempts a spinning headscissors takedown, but Cronos somehow manages to catch Diego in a torture rack and drops Diego de Cardenas on his head, nailing an inverted Death Valley Driver! "My flow's untouchable now you gotta face it" The crowd is a buzz and suddenly Hector Rodriguez leaps over the guardrail and slides into the ring. Diego gets a huge grin on his face as Hector runs in and DRILLS Cronos from behind with a kick to the back of the head. Staying right in on the attack, Hector sets Cronos up into a pumphandle position, then lifts him up, pivots, and drives Cronos downwards onto the back of his neck. The referee slides back into the ring to try to get some semblance of order, but by the time he gets there, Hector moves out of the way and Diego covers Cronos, hooking both legs. Reluctantly, the referee makes the count. "Uh oh, it gets worse when I go back to the basics" Disappointed because he only got a 2 count but not surprised due to the interference, Justin Moreno sits up onto his knees and starts to ask the referee if it was really only a two count, but he knows the answer already. Before he can get to his feet though, Moreno is booted in the back of the head by Mirage, who had been huddled in the corner while Moreno had gone for the pinfall. Mirage grabs Moreno by the head, then lifts him up off the mat, flips him over, hooking him by the top turnbuckle into a tree of woe. Raising a hand, Mirage points at an empty chair in the front row, a chair which was being occupied by a zealous young fanatic up until a couple minutes ago. When the other fans realize what Mirage is pointing at, Mirage then calls for it, and one of the young men folds up the chair and throws it up into the ring, and Mirage catches it and then looks over at Moreno in the far corner, still in a prone position. "You go say the wrong shit and get your face split" The referee puts himself in-between Mirage and the far corner, practically begging Mirage not to use the chair, also reminding him that if he uses the chair, he will be disqualified. Mirage lets out a chuckle, and just before it looks like he’s going to move past the referee in Moreno’s direction, Crazy Boy charges in and spears him in the back, sending him tumbling into the corner, dislodging Moreno from the tree of woe and sending an excited reaction shimmering through the crowd. Grabbing Mirage from behind, Crazy Boy immediately lifts him up off the mat into the air into a vertical suplex position, then spins around and hits a falcon arrow brainbuster, dropping Mirage right down onto the chair Mirage had in his hand a moment ago, and Crazy Boy immediately goes for the pinfall attempt. "The smell of victory, love it so much I can taste it" As Mirage and Crazy Boy are both back up the ramp, Justin Moreno gets a microphone from the ring announcer’s table and then gets right back into the ring. Walking over to the corner, Justin Moreno turns around and hops up onto the top turnbuckle, looking across the ring at the entrance stage. "I spot my target, blaze it, direct hit" Hopping down off the top turnbuckle, Justin Moreno slowly walks towards the middle of the ring, waiting, watching, hoping. The excitement grows as the fans watch on in anticipation. Just when people start to lose hope that anyone might walk out from the back, "Vote with a Bullet" by C.O.C. hits the speakers, and the excitement level hits a high as Marcus Marion steps through the curtain, coming out onto the stage. **** CUT **** Reaching out, Moreno drills Marcus Marion in the forehead with the microphone, rocking him back a step. Not letting go of the microphone, Moreno again strikes Marion in the forehead, this time knocking him down to the mat. The cameras zoom in on Marcus’ face as he crawls towards the edge of the ring, trying to make an escape, and we see blood trickling down across the bridge of his nose, already starting to gather on his eyebrow.
Justin Moreno grabs Marcus Marion by the hair and hoists him up off the mat, Marion still holding his nuts from the kick he just received. Moreno takes the chair Marion was using and DRILLS him in the back with it. **** CUT **** Moreno puts the chair down on the mat, folded flat. He grabs Marion and hoists him up onto his shoulders and struggles to put him up onto the top rope **** CUT **** Moreno on the top rope… he hooks Marion’s head under his arm… MORENO FLIPS OVER HALFWAY THROUGH THE SUPERPLEX!!! HE TURNS IT INTO A BACKFLIP URINAGE!! MARCUS MARION SLAMMED BACK FIRST INTO A CHAIR!!! "You shit sounds dated, you're overrated" Justin Moreno gets up to his knees and looks out over the approving fans, slowly pumping his fist into the air. He looks down upon Marcus Marion’s broken body one last time, spits onto his pink polo shirt. **** CUT **** As he walks backwards up the ramp, EMTs rush past him, wheeling a gurney down the ramp to get Marcus Marion, who is still laid out. "I'm obligated to study your moves then crush you mutherfuckers" Matt Towers manages to muster up enough strength to sit up. Isaac smiles wide and Towers shakes his head as Isaac sifts through the remnants of the flattened steel chair and some tacks, and comes across a squared sheet of glass **** CUT **** Towers grabs it with both hands, Isaac grabs the other side and a “tug-o-war” over the glass sheet ensues. Pulling back rigorously, "If I'm the best and the worst, then God's gift is a curse" Towers wins the struggle and Isaac lets go of the glass. **** CUT **** Isaac runs into the ropes, lifts a boot up, and SMASHES the sheet of glass right into the face of the sitting Matt Towers!!!! **** CUT **** With Towers flat on his back and his face cut up from the sheet of glass breaking in his face, Isaac drops to his knees, hooks both arms around a leg and pulls back for the count! "Soldier trained to destroy, you payin' attention boy?" X pulls Dragon to his feet and whips him into the corner! X rushes Dragon and drives a clothesline into Dragon’s face! Dragon slumps down, as Bailey gets to his feet, looking more angry than hurt by the elbow to his face moments ago! X backs up right into Bailey, who hooks him in a waistlock! Bailey snaps back, driving X onto the back of his head with a high German Suplex! "I spit shit, slick shit, so quick you miss it" Bailey turns just as Dragon runs out of the corner! Dragon swings himself through a tilt-a-whirl, catching Bailey’s head and swings through into a huge DDT! Bailey bounces off the top of his head! **** CUT **** Dragon pushes to his feet, as X does the same. Dragon turns around, bumps right into X, who almost instinctively grabs him by the head and drops quickly with the X-Terminator! **** CUT **** X hooks both of the Dragon’s legs deep! "To be specific I go ballistic as hieroglyphic " X rolls out of the ring, elated, and he starts to slap hands with several fans at ringside, while Bailey gets to his feet. X starts up the ramp, unaware of Ron Bailey getting to his feet. Bailey hovers over Dragon before dropping and raining down punches on Dragon’s face. Bailey reaches his fingers into the eyeholes of Dragon’s mask, pulling his hands out, tearing at the mask! **** CUT **** X runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, With the mask in his hand, Ron dives out of the way and rolls out of the ring. For the first time, the camera focuses in on the unmasked Strong Style Dragon. **** CUT **** X is frozen in place as he looks down and sees Cade Sydal lying there. X has disbelief etched clearly on his face. **** CUT **** Ron Bailey is at the top of the ramp, hoisting Strong Style Dragon’s mask into the air as if it were the Tao of Valor Championship belt itself. "My music is a drug, press play, you ain't gotta sniff it" Picking him up into a bodyslam position, Crash moves forwards and drills Dominion’s back on the top turnbuckle, then spins around and slams him down onto the mat. Turning Jake ove onto his stomach, Crash then crosses Jake’s ankles, locks them up with his leg, then dives forwards and grabs Jake under the chin. **** CUT **** Crash has the STF locked in, and this could be it! Pinfalls and submissions count, and Crash is looking to make Jake tap out right here! Jake Dominion is struggling, but he’s holding on, not giving up, not quitting, not submitting to the STF Crash has locked in. "Chew it or pop it, roll a bag or chop it" Relinquishing the hold, Crash gets to his feet, drops an elbow to the middle of Dominion’s back, then rolls over and gets back to his feet. A hard forearm shot from Crash sends Jake spinning sideways, his back now turned to Crash. Sensing an opportunity, Crash tries to move in on his opponent… BLIND MULE KICK!!! Jake steps in, grabs Crash by the head, reaches down, grabs him into a fisherman’s position… Spins around… ICE-BREAKER!! **** CUT **** Jake reaches back, hooks the leg… The referee signals for the bell!! "Get your high over and over, but you gotta cop it We see Stellar standing a few feet away from Loco Martinez in the middle of the ring, and then John grabs Rocky, spins him around and DROPS him with the sick falling neckbreaker. "When it's hot, it's hot" Stellar being wheeled back up the ramp on a stretcher by EMTs. Lights blare up through the steel entrance ramp, giving enough glow that we can see John Thomas’ shocked expression. "Your hatin' is undeniable, stop it " The cameras follow Devastation as he makes his way down the ramp, red and gold spotlights illuminating him as he walks into the ring. As Dev steps through the ropes, John Thomas, backs up a few steps and ducks underneath the top rope, gets out onto the apron, and then hops down to the floor. John starts shaking his head as he exits. "No matter how many battles I've been in and won" Murdock begins to crawl his way to his corner to tag in his partner. **** CUT **** He reaches for the tag. **** CUT **** O'Reily's eyes bulge, and he doubles over, covering his mouth, his cheeks bulge, and some brownish chunky fluid escapes as he tries to hold it in with his hand. **** CUT **** O'Reily falls off the apron to the floor and lets loose a mighty wretch, emptying the contents of his stomach, ring side. "no matter how many magazines on my nuts." Gryffin looks down at the heaving VENOM, points and laughs. **** CUT **** Gryffin brings Murdock up into a fireman's carry pauses and then drives him head first into the mat with the Devastator! **** CUT **** James Win puts him into a double underhook, pauses with a smirk and then delivers a HUGE STARBURST!!! **** CUT **** The bell rings as James Win rolls off and jumps up in celebration. "No matter how many MC's I eat up." Slowly Loco Martinez works to get up off the mat. As the World Champion gets to one knee, Stephen Rawlings gets out onto the apron as quickly as he can, and then makes his way up the turnbuckles. No sooner does Rawlings get to the top rope than Loco Martinez gets his second foot underneath him. When Loco turns around to locate his opponent, Stephen leaps off the top rope, sending one leg to either side of Martinez’s head, going for a hurricanrana. Before Rawlings can flip backwards into his finishing move, Loco drops down to one knee, then pushes upwards as hard as he can, putting one hand underneath both of Rawlings’ knees, pushing upwards. Rawlings flips backwards… lands on his feet!! Loco reaches out, grabs Rawlings’ wrist… pulls him in… LOCapitator!! Rawlings is out!! "Oh..." The referee gets to his knees and signals for the bell. ****CUT**** Getting to his feet, Loco Martinez has his hand raised into the air, and he is then handed the LEGACY World Title. Putting it over his shoulder, Loco exits the ring and starts walking backwards up the ramp. ****CUT**** John Thomas comes out from the back, meeting up with T-Rex and Arch Angel atop the ramp where Loco's trophy case stands awaiting the belt. ****CUT**** John Thomas does the honors of opening the glass doors, and Loco pats the belt in a show of modest endearment, and then he puts the gold back inside the trophy case and locks the door. "Its never enough"
We are sitting backstage, on a couch, where the No Limits Champion Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith is getting ready for an interview before his big fatal four way title match at Destined for Greatness. He is sitting on one side of the couch, while his interviewer, Andrew Kelley, is sitting on the other side. Andrew adjust his suit and tie and holds the microphone to his face, getting ready to speak. Andrew: I'm sitting here with the No Limits Champion, Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith. Tyrone, coming up here in just a few minutes will possibly be the biggest match of your Legacy career, when you defend your No Limits Championship against 3 capable contenders in Ethan Leers, Chris Turner and Damien Black. What is your mindset going into this match? Tyrone smiles and nods his head, looking down at the No Limits Championship slung over his shoulder. He looks at Andrew with serious eyes and nods his head again. CB: Thank you for having me. Yeah, this is a big match for me. My second official title defense and it's a doozy. I don't even have to be pinned to lose this match, so I have to have eyes in the back of my head to take a look at all of my competition to make sure that a pinfall is not happening. But that won't be easy, that's for sure, ya know? With Ethan Leers being the masochist that he is, and Damien Black and Chris Turner being the monsters that they are, I'm a sitting duck. But that's what makes me a fighting champion, ya know. Being able to defy all odds and find somehow, someway to walk out champion. Andrew: So you are planning to walk out Destined for Greatness still champion? Tyrone smiles and nods his head. CB: Of course. I've been pretty proud of how I've handled myself as champion. I didn't have to do this match at all. I could have just faced one of them in a one-on-one match and be done with it, but what's the challenge and the fun in that? I'm trying to prove to the world that I am one of the greatest No Limits Champions that Legacy has ever seen, with the likes of Issac Entragian and my mentor, Greyson Blade. I have to challenge myself to do that, and if that means putting myself in near impossible situations, so be it. I plan to walk in Destined for Greatness as champion, and whatever it takes, I plan to walk OUT of Destined for Greatness as Champion. I will put myself through hell if I have to, but Turner, Leers or Black know what I am capable of, and they know that I will fight till the very end. Andrew: Well, if and when you retain at Destined for Greatness, what is next for you? Crazy Boy smiles a sly smile and nods his head. CB: Well, when I retain at Destined for Greatness, I plan to continue to defend this title with honor and integrity. That's my goal: to show the world and EVERYONE in Legacy that I am what I say I am: The best No Limits Champion Legacy has ever seen. Andrew: Well, thanks for the few moments of your time, Tyrone. I know you gotta go get ready for your match. Good luck.
“We’re Not Going
to Take It” begins blaring across the public announcement system
and the fans immediately come to their senses, roaring for their favorite
lovable wire-rimmed hero. Moments later, Herb Moxley comes through the
curtains, much more serious looking than usual. His normal bouncy self
has been replaced with a man who looks like he’s walking the plank. Bryan Harris: Look at Herb. He knows he stepped on a bee hive and he doesn’t have any shoes on. Jimmy Yates: While I’m not entirely sure what that means, I do have to admit that Herb Moxley almost looks forlorn coming out here to face his former friend and ally, Loco Martinez. Alan Ducard: He thought he could bring back Loco from “the dark side”, but ultimately feels that he failed in doing so. This is nothing more than Herb Moxley having no other alternative than to knock some sense into his former friend. Slapping a few hands, Moxley slides underneath the bottom rope and stands up inside the ring. Shaking his head in disgust, Moxley just motions for his opponent to come out, almost as if he just wanted to “get it over with”. Bryan Harris: I actually feel bad for the poor guy. Jimmy Yates: What? Really? Bryan Harris: Yeah. That fan sitting over there. Look at him. He’s got a Nicholas Creed t-shirt on. I feel bad that he’s still waiting for that guy to come back to LEGACY. Jimmy Yates: You’re a jack ass. Moxley is in the ring loosening up, awaiting his opponent, but not looking overly enthused to be facing his long time friend. When the lights drop out entirely. Suddenly an all too familiar tune, especially to the king of all nerds, blasts through the arena. Jimmy Yates: Darth Vader's march?!? Is this some sort of head game Locos is cooking up? Two red spotlights hit the top of the entrance walkway. And as Vader's music continues men dressed in the red garb of the Emperor's Royal Guard, complete with Red Helmets that hide their identities begin to march out side by side until there are a dozen of the red clad Royal guardsmen lining each side of the walkway. They each turn to face one another and then extend red light sabers together over head. The red spotlights drop, as does the music, and we're left with just the ominous glow of each Royal Guard's light saber glowing red down the entrance way. The crowd has really started booing this display, and starts up a Mox. Ley. chant. But they're quickly drowned out by the palm muted opening of Loco Martinez's entrance music, "ON ANOTHER DAY, C'mon C'mon!" The Von Bondies rip apart the arena as Loco Martinez steps out clad like Anakin Skywalker towards the end of "Revenge of the Sith". His "Jedi Hood" is up, as he walks briskly down the aisle, the tunic fluttering behind him. He slowly peels back the hood and we see a vicious sneer, and notice that he is wearing red contacts, giving off an incredibly evil vibe. The lights come up and Moxley stares slack jawed at this display. Loco takes the Jedi robe off and smirks at his opponent, as he steps through the ropes and into the ring. Josephina Colbert: And his opponent...
making his way down to the ring... from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...
weighing in at 222lbs... *reading from an index card handed to her earlier*
THE LORD AND EMPEROR OF ALL THAT IS EVIL AND UNHOLY AND TERRIBLE AND
BAD... DARTH MARTZ... LOCO.... MARTINEZ!! Jimmy Yates: I think its just another cheap shot from the master of the cheap shot. He's mocking Moxley, and looking to gain any sort of psychological edge he can. The bell sounds and Moxley seems in awe of Loco’s sith-like appearance. Loco taunts Moxley, waving his hands around like he’s performing some evil jedi mind trick, but Moxley stands straight up and holds his palm out, blocking Loco’s mind trick. Loco looks at his hand like something’s wrong with his powers, and waves his hand over Moxley again and again until he looks at his hand like something’s wrong. Bryan Harris: Tell me this isn’t happening. Jimmy Yates: I’d like to, but I think it is. Alan Ducard: This could be pro-wrestling’s first “jedi powers only” match. Summoning the energy from within his palms, Moxley throws his hands forward as if he threw a giant energy ball at Loco. Loco falls back into the ropes as if the gust of jedi force knocked him back, and the fans eat it up. Looking incredulous, Loco throws a phantom energy ball back at Moxley, who spins from the “impact” like Rikishi taking a clothesline. Bryan Harris: This has to be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever
seen in all my years at the broadcast booth. Bryan Harris: You guys actually find this ENJOYABLE?! As Moxley gets up off the mat, Moxley throws another ball of energy at Loco, but this time Loco has had enough of the charade and decides to no longer give in to the fun and games that Moxley and Loco seemed to be accidentally having. Rushing in at Moxley, Loco nails some hard right fists to Moxley’s face, reeling him back into the ropes. Leaning in on him for added recoil, Loco whips Moxley to the other side of the ring. Moxley on the rebound, Loco jumps into the air, wraps his legs around Moxley’s head, and falls gracefully back to the mat with a standing hurricanrana, driving Moxley right on his cranium. The fans meanwhile boo mercilessly at loco for ruining “the fun” everyone was having. Rather than staying on Moxley, Loco gets up off the mat and cackles like Emperor Palpatine. Bryan Harris: Nice hurricanrana to open things up for this match. Moxley could be seeing stars after landing on his head there. Jimmy Yates Or Wookies. Alan Ducard: Or hobbits. Bryan Harris: First of all, wrong franchise, Al. Secondly, SHUT UP!! Lifting Moxley to his feet, Loco slaps Moxley square in the mouth, receiving a thunderous wave of booing for his deplorable actions. Moxley holds his mouth from the force of the slap, and Loco smiles evilly. Turning Moxley around, he lifts him up for an inverted atomic drop, but instead of landing his knee on the edge of Moxley’s tail bone, he slams his knee upwards right into the crotchel region of the nerd. Moxley goes down, clutching his balls, virtually coughing up his testicles and spitting them up. Unsure if Loco intentionally aimed for Moxley’s privates, Leonard Nolan merely admonishes Loco for the maneuver. Loco swears his innocence however. Turning around away from Nolan, Loco winks into the camera which draws a big wave of jeering from the crowd. Jimmy Yates: That son of a - Bryan Harris: Hey, he can’t help it if Moxley’s balls get in the way of a perfectly executed inverted atomic drop. Jimmy Yates: I think you were inverted in your Mother’s - Alan Ducard: Guys, lets show some class, shall we? This IS Destined for Greatness, after all. Bringing Moxley to his feet, Loco lifts him up into a fireman’s carry. Facing the corner turnbuckle, Loco falls forward with a rolling senton slam, crushing Moxley’s chest region against the full weight of Loco’s body at the points of his shoulders. All in one swift motion, Loco hops onto the second turnbuckle from the rolling position, uses the ropes to propel his legs up into a split-legged form, and moonsaults back down onto Herb Moxley. Bryan Ducard: HAPPINESS! Jimmy Harris: Good GOD he hit it with surgical precision! Alan Yates: This one could be over! Nolan drops down for the count and the fans count along.. ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!! Moxley shows that he’s not ready to call it quits just yet and shoulders out at the last possible second. Getting up off of the mat, Loco laughs a sinister laugh and looks around at all of the people in the audience, watching, hoping, believing in Herb Moxley. Shaking his head, “No way. He’s DONE!”, Loco concentrates back on Moxley again and lifts him to his feet. Out of nowhere, as if he summoned the powers of the Skywalker family, Moxley elbows Loco in the bread basket, reeling his friend turned nemesis back several feet. Clutching himself and gasping for air, Loco isn’t able to move out of the way in time as Moxley slaps on a swinging neckbreaker that drives Loco harshly into the mat. The fans rejoice at Moxley’s sudden resurgence into the match. Jimmy Yates: Just like that, Mox is back in this thing! Alan Ducard: Moxley showing some moxie here. Bryan Harris: How long have you waited to do THAT line, Al? Alan Ducard: Too long. Bringing Loco to his feet after connecting with the swinging neckbreaker, Moxley lifts Loco in the air for an old school atomic drop. Holding him up for several seconds, Moxley then slams him down tail bone first against the brunt of his knee. Jimmy Yates: THAT’s how you do an atomic drop! Loco’s eyes go wide and he stiffens straight up, holding his lower back and butt region in incredible pain. Seeing Loco stunned, Moxley jumps to the second rope, presses off them in a springboard motion, twists in mid-air and connects with a spring board 180 bulldog to Loco Martinez. The crowd buzzing, Moxley hooks a leg! Nolan drops down for the count.. Alan Ducard: What a bulldog! He might have him! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- Bryan Harris: He kicked out! Loco shoulders out with plenty of time to spare in that final second. Looking a bit surprised, (but not TOO surprised), that his nemesis was able to kick out of such a high impact maneuver, Moxley slowly starts bringing the former World Champion to his feet. Grabbing Loco by his wrist he short-arm scissors it before whipping him into the ropes. Loco on the rebound, Moxley actually lifts Loco up for a powerslam and DRIVES Martinez into the canvas with thunderous conviction. Jimmy Yates: Some people might not have noticed what Moxley did there, but by short-arm scissoring Loco’s arm he all but guaranteed the Irish whip not being reversed. Alan Ducard: Indeed. It’s little things like that which make Moxley much more capable and worthy competitor than what his unassuming, non-threatening appearance might tell you. Bryan Harris: The bigger story here... a power slam by... HERB MOXLEY?! What?! Jimmy Yates: There’s a glimpse of that “nerd rage” we see from time to time. Looking surprised at himself for the “power play”, Moxley once again hooks a leg for a deep cover. Nolan is right there... ONE!! TWO!!! THR- Alan Ducard: Once again Loco shoulders out just after two! Bryan Harris: I think if Loco lost to Herb Moxley via a powerslam, he’d kill himself. Jimmy Yates: Via toaster in tub. With the momentum in his favor right now, Moxley once again brings Loco to his feet. Measuring up the former World Champion, Moxley snaps to the mat with a quick basement dropkick to the leg. Loco involuntarily drops to one knee, clutching the throbbing tendons inside. In one swift motion from the moment of impact, Moxley rolls back to his feet, leans into the ropes and propels himself forward with a snapping front-falling dropkick to the face that folds Loco inside out. The fans applaud this combination attack, and as Moxley stands to his feet, he absorbs the electricity of the fans appreciating his impressive offense.. Jimmy Yates: Moxley’s an IDIOT for not going for the cover here. Rather than go for the cover, Moxley steps between the ropes and exits to the ring apron. Pointing up, Moxley begins ascending the turnbuckles, much to the delight of the capacity crowd. With everyone getting solidly behind the beloved nerd, Moxley climbs to the very, very, top. Looking a bit uneasy at the height from where he stoof, Moxley slowly comes to balance. Then, looking out at everyone, makes the swoosh-swish of a wizard’s wand, pointing it at himself and shouts, “Wingardium Leviosa!”. Bryan Harris: Can this idiot get ANY MORE ridiculous?! Jimmy Yates: Probably. Alan Ducard: I love it! Jumping off of the top turnbuckle, Moxley soars through the air with a big splash... and connects square across Loco’s upper body! Alan Ducard: THE WIZARD SPLASH! Jimmy Yates: HE HIT It!!!! HE H- wait, what?! I’ve never heard of that one before. Bryan Harris: I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! HE’S NEVER HIT THAT O- wait what the hell?! Moxley hooks a leg as he remains on top of Loco Martinez’s lifeless body. The crowd counts along with Nolan.. ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!!! Bryan Harris: LOCO KICKED OUT!!! Moxley looks at Nolan with disbelief, forlorn over the fact that Loco managed to kick out of a move he hits once every blue moon. Forcing himself to his feet, Moxley tries to maintain his focus and measures up Loco for something else. Slowly, Loco comes around from having the wind absolutely knocked out of him from the top rope splash. Getting to his knees, Moxley primes up for what looks to be a shining wizard. Jimmy Yates: Looks like Moxley is going for that shining wizard he’s known to pull off from time to time! Advancing for the kill, Moxley goes for the shining wizard, but Loco actually tucks and rolls through while Moxley soars over him. Pure instinct takes over at this point for Loco and he is up and running into the ropes. Moxley turns around and eats and flying wheel kick and goes down hard. Moxley resist the urge to stay down though and is back on his feet quicker than a hiccup. Loco has continued on to the other side though, jumping to the second rope. As soon as Moxley stands to his feet, Loco springboards off of the second rope, twists in mid-air, and flies down behind Moxley in a rolling motion, catching him with a spontaneous and innovative sunset flip. Bryan Harris: Springboard sunset flip!! He has him!! ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!! Alan Ducard: Moxley manages to kick out at the last second, and listen to this audience. Their breathing a sigh of relief! Bryan Harris: All that punishment he took from the Nerd and Loco is right back in this thing. THIS is why he’s LEGACY’s greatest World Champion, and one of, if not THE, best World Champion in the history of the business. His resiliency is unmatched, plain and simple. Alan Ducard: There are a lot of people out there who would agree with you, Bryan. Jimmy Yates: Almost as many who would agree to disagree with you, Bryan. Bryan Harris: You son of a- Jimmy Yates: Hey I’m not saying you’re wrong, bud, but lets not forget the cheap tactics Loco has employed over the last year or so. Five years from now, we’ll see how his reigns stand up against others. Still reeling a bit from the top rope splash and various other high impact moves Moxley managed to hit him with, Loco holds his ribs while he gets to his feet. Moxley, meanwhile, is bewildered that Loco managed to catch him with such an impressive pinning predicament out of nowhere. Trying to gain back the focus he just had on his opponent, Moxley goes in for a double axe handle smash, but Loco throws a kick up to the bread basket that stops Moxley in his tracks. With Moxley doubled over, Loco Martinez goes primes up for what looks like a superkick. Moxley slowly turns around. Loco leaps forward.
Loco turns around. Moxley leaps forward with a CRANE KICK, catching loco right across the jaw and sending him down to the mat in a heap. The audience comes out of their seats as Moxley falls across Loco, hooking a leg ONE!! TWO!! THREE!! NO!! Bryan Harris: LOCO KICKED OUT!! Moxley rolls off of Loco, his face actually seething for the first time in the match. Shaking his limbs and body, Moxley looks to the fans for guidance as he pumps himself up to finish the job. Signaling to the crowd, Moxley calls for his finishing maneuver. Jimmy Yates: Looks like he’s going for the Dragon Slayer! Alan Ducard: Or it could be the Demon Killer.. Grabbing Loco Martinez by his nerve, clamping down on a vulcan-like death grip, he raises Loco involuntarily to his feet. Relinquishing the hold, Moxley begins hooking Loco up for a sit-out rude awakening falling neckbreaker. Jimmy Yates: He’s going for the Demon Killer!! Just as he gets Loco in a back to back position, Loco continues to turn around, eventually coming face to face with the nerd. Jumping up, Loco holds Moxley by the back of his head while simultaneously driving his knee upwards into the underside of Moxley’s jaw(codebreaker). Jimmy Yates: LOConoclasm! Bryan Harris: I swear, it feels like Loco unveils a new move every time he’s on Pay-Per-View. With Moxley flat on his back, seemingly unconscious, Loco takes a moment
to recollect himself. Shaking the cobwebs, Loco motions for Moxley to
get up. Loco anxiously begins shaking his leg, anticipating leaping forward with his superkick. Moxley is up. Loco leaps forward. Moxley catches Loco’s foot! Loco hopping in place, Moxley spins him around, catching his head in a bulldog headlock. Pointing to the turnbuckles, Moxley runs over to them and runs up as if they were a step ladder. In mid-air, Loco shoves Moxley forward off of him. Moxley lands on his feet. He turns around. Loco leaps forward... SMACK!!!!! Loco CONNECTS flush on the jaw with his patented superkick! Bryan Harris: LOCapitator! Jimmy Yates: This one’s over... Alan Ducard: He hit that one HARD. Moxley goes down in an unconscious heap, and Loco drops to his knees,
smiling evilly. The fans begin booing mercilessly as Loco sits there
on his knees. Looking out at the audience, Loco begins laughing hysterically,
rolling onto his back, holding his stomach from laughing so hard. Sitting up, looking out at the audience (who knows the inevitable is coming), Loco crawls slowly over to Moxley. Making a lateral cover, Loco counts along with Nolan. One.. Two... Loco pulls Moxley’s shoulder up. “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” the crowd screams at Loco as he smirks widely. Shrugging, he lets Moxley’s shoulder fall to the mat again. One... Two... He pulls it up again. He lets it fall. One... Two... Alan Ducard: This is DISGUSTING. Loco climbs off of Moxley’s unconscious form and stands up in the middle of the ring. Tainting the audience, a few projectiles of trash head in his direction. Side stepping some of the debris, Loco looks outside of the ring and asks for a microphone. Breathing straight into the microphone, Loco calls for a silence from everyone watching, who disregard Loco’s request by booing even louder. Loco Martinez: I warned YOU. I warned you, but you didn't listen. You came back. You got in my way. And look at yourself! You know why I told you to stay away? You know why I warned you? Cuz I know how this ends. The plucky comic relief guy doesn't get the win. He FAILS. EPICALLY. I know this, cuz when I cared about "being funny"... when I cared about what *POINTS TO CROWD ELICITING BOOS* what THEY think? I was where you are right now. And right now... I'm going to wish you luck in all your future endeavors.... cuz your career... is... OVER! Loco drops the microphone down as Nolan yells at Loco to either finish the match or risk a disqualification for unsportsmanlike conduct. Loco scoffs at Nolan’s admonishment and once again crawls to his knees, turning his back to Moxley, Loco lays down across Moxley’s body as if he were tanning in the sun. Nolan counts as the crowd goes silent... One... Two... The. Crowd. ERUPTS. Alan Ducard: MOXLEY REVERSED!! Bryan Harris: NO WAY!!!! Grapevining Loco’s arms and shoulders from the lackadaisical cover, Moxley manages to roll Loco over into a pin, as Nolan administers the count. The crowd just about raids the ring in anticipation as they count along in booming shouts. ONE!!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!! NO!! Loco kicks out. The crowd boos mercilessly as they thought Moxley had him. Jimmy Yates: GAWD.... I thought he HAD HIM.... come on Mox!!! Moxley is shaking. His nerd rage coming back to him. Loco stands up, his face disbelieving that Moxley was able to kick out. Moxley gets to his knees... but Loco has none of this comeback and DRIVES a running knee into the side of his temple. Moxley goes down to the mat, and the wind is sucked from the audience’s sails. Loco falls down next to him, screaming in Moxley’s ear. Then, positioning himself right beside him, Loco places his palm over Moxley’s face, lifts his left leg into the air, and DRIVES his knee down into the temple of Moxley. He lifts up, and does it again. And AGAIN. And AGAIN. And AGAIN. And AGAIN. Standing up, completely enraged into a state of psychotic tendency, Loco looks down at the unconscious body of Moxley... Moxley’s eyes open with a glossed over vacant shine in his eyes... and delivers one final STOMP right down into Moxley’s face, breaking his nose and cutting his lip up. Dropping down, loco SCREAMS at Nolan to count, who stands there in shock over loco’s violent display. The completely disillusioned crowd doesn’t even care now. They sit in silence and watch helplessly as Nolan makes the count. One. Two. Three. Nolan calls for the bell as the entire announce team sits in silence over the way the match ended. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and
gentlemen... the winner of this match... LOCO... MARTINEZ. Alan Ducard: I am at a loss for words... Jimmy Yates: It’s a damn shame what happened to Herb Moxley here. Bryan Harris: Loco Martinez has been saying it all along. Moxley cannot beat him. He is not his friend. And most of all, Moxley is not in his league. I think he proved all three things true tonight, gentlemen. Jimmy Yates: I don’t know about all of that. Moxley looked like he had him a couple of times but... I don’t know. I’m scared for Moxley right now, folks. Those knee shots could’ve seriously injured our beloved Moxley... and I’m afraid to see what the outcome of this will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if Moxley’s career was in serious jeopardy here. The cameras pan in on Moxley’s dead-like stare, as the medical teams place an oxygen mask over his face. As the fans sit in silence, hoping to see movement... the camera switches to the back.
As the camera transitions to the backstage area, we see Intern Avery. As he stands there for a few moments, he looks down at his watch... then we hear the voice of the cameraman. Cameraman: We shooting this or what? I'm rolling now... Avery just stands there, a bit flustered. Intern Avery: I don't know, he was supposed to be here already... Then we see a man in the distance heading towards Avery, a bewildered look on his face... ???: Have you guys seen Fanboy? He said he was just going to the bathroom but he's been gone fifteen minutes... In that instant Avery points the cameraman off in the direction of the bathroom as he stands by to speak with the friend. As the cameraman heads to the bathroom... he slowly opens the door, unsure of what lies behind it. As he enters, he sees a single figure lying on the tile ground face down. Cameraman: Roll him over, roll him over... He says it frantically. He fears to see who lies motionless. As the other cameraman rolls him over, they see Fan Boy. He doesn't have any blood on his face, no visible bruises... but he lies motionless. Unconscious. Cameraman: GET SECURITY! GET SOMEONE, NOW! With this, the other man disappears out of sight. The main cameraman drops the camera down as it focuses on the motionless body... The man leans down and sits beside him... unsure of what's happened.
Backstage we see road agent Patrick Kidd looking over a few things on a clipboard. He's not wearing his usual light blue casual business suit, but blue jeans and dress shirt, and his cowboy boots aren't the usual ones we've seen lately. This pair is a little scuffed up like they seen a showdown or two. We hear the sound of footsteps coming down the hall, but Kidd doesn't look up until they stop. When the sound stops he looks up and standing in front of him is The Outlaw Greyson Blade, who looks like he just left his locker room after getting ready for his match tonight with John Thomas. Greyson Blade: What's going on Patrick? You blow me off at the Hammerstein a couple days ago, and you haven't answered your phone. You’ve been acting weird lately around me and then add in the incidents the past few weeks with Kenji, Cade, and Ledge. What the hell is going on with you? Kidd: I know I've been a little bit on edge as of late. Things aren't like they used to be obviously, and it's taking some getting used. Jessica's been great about me being on the road, and things are going well, but being on the road brings back memories … and sometimes nightmares. Greyson Blade: Look I get that being with “the boys” but not being one of them can be tough to start out, but you have a good thing going here. You really do. You just have to be more careful – you aren’t a wrestler anymore, you are an agent, but that really isn’t a bad deal man. Kidd puts the clipboard under his arm. Kidd: Toby Keith may have said it best, "I'm not as good as I once was, I got a few years on me now, but there was a time back in my prime where I could really hold my own." I may not be what I once was, but I'll be damned if I'll let people like Ledge and others think they can push me around. Greyson Blade: Patrick, I’m telling you this as your friend before you take any offense, remember that. I know that you don’t fight that many years without part of it becoming instinct – I don’t doubt for say one match that you could still pull off an amazing performance, but you left the competition behind. You aren’t an active fighter anymore, but If you want to act like a fighter even though you are a road agent, then out of instinct some of these guys just might treat you like one. Considering your health, your current family situation, and opportunities you have here for perhaps lifelong employment in the business I just don’t want to see some “flashback” cost you this opportunity. You don’t need to be dealing with a guy like Kenji or Ethan Leer dare I say Issac at this point. Kidd opens his mouth and is about to say something when he sees someone coming down the hall. A moment later Smith Cartwright is standing next to them. Smith Cartwright: I hate to break things up, but Greyson you have a match shortly, and I need to have a few words with Mr. Kidd about a very important matter. Greyson nods and starts to walk away. Kidd: Kick his ass champ. Greyson turns back and nods and continues back to his dressing room, as Cartwright and Kidd head of f in the other directions not speaking until they disappeared behind the door to Cartwright’s office. The view switches over to the arena bowl and the lights over the crowd dim a bit, and at ringside, Josephina Colbert gets on the mic. Josephina Colbert: The next match is set for one fall and is for the NO LIMITS CHAMPIONSHIP!!
The speakers all over the arena bowl are flooded with " Angry Again" By Megadeth. Wearing a pair of black jeans and a blue tshirt which reads "Out of Jail to go right back in" on the front, Chris Turner steps through the curtain. Josephina Colbert: Introducing first, one of the challengers... CHRIS... TURNER!! After hearing his name called, Turner walks at a vigorous pace along the entrance ramp, ignoring all the booing fans at his feet. As he passes the camera, we see that the back of his shirt says "For MURDER" with "MURDER" in red lettering. In his hand is a backpack, which looks to be stuffed pretty fully. Alan Ducard: One has to wonder what weapons Chris Turner is bringing with him to this match. Bryan Harris: He's a pretty creative guy, so you'd have to think it could be almost anything! Jimmy Yates: If he's bringing it with him, I'm sure he intends on finding
a place and time to use it, so we'll find out in the next half hour
I would bet. Alan Ducard: A fiery entrance for Chris Turner, and you can see now as we get a closeup that he looks very focused for this match... Jimmy Yates: About as focused as a crazy guy like Chris Turner CAN be, and that's a dangerous thing! Josephina Colbert: Introducing next, the second challenger... The lights go out and turn a crimson shade of red as "Hello Zepp" by Charlie Clouser begins to play over the P.A. system. Fire shoots out from the sides of the stage as Damien Black comes out through the curtain, the lights dimmed with only a single spotlight shining down on him. Josephina Colbert: He is the former No Limits Champion.... Damieeeeeen.... BLACK!!! Slowly but methodically, Damien lumbers toward the ring wearing a solid
black old-school hockey mask with a black Dickies work shirt and black
karate pants with red flames on the pant legs and black and red wrestling
boots. He is focused intently on his fellow challenger in the ring and
he does not make eye contact with the fans. In addition to the majority
of the Madison Square Garden fans cheering for Damien, a portion of
the fans at ringside and along the entrance walkway are chanting "F**K
'EM UP, BLACK, F**K 'EM UP!". Alan Ducard: You'd have to think that even though Crazy Boy is the champion coming into this match, Damien Black and Chris Turner are going to target one another, as the bad blood betwixt them is not gone at all. Josephina Colbert: Introducing next, the third and final challenger... "Angry Mob Justice" by The Acacia Strain hits. The cult is heavy in attendance, and thus, there are more cheers than normal for Ethan Leers. However, it's not overwhelming, and it only seems to cause the average fans to boo louder. Josephina Colbert: He is THE CULT LEADER....ETHAN...LEEEERS!!! Ethan comes out with a shopping cart filled with all sorts of weapons. Light tubes, a kendo stick, a bag filled with something, and the tire iron that Ethan used to beat Crazyboy at the last Strife. Jimmy Yates: Oh great, Leers brought toys to play with too. Between his stuff, Turner's stuff, and that chain Damien Black brought out... this is going to be rough. Bryan Harris: You might want to see if one of those guys behind us will let you bring a chair into the front row, Jimbo. A "delicate" guy like you might get hurt just watching the action! Taking the tire iron out of the cart, Leers holds it up into the air, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. With a wicked smile on his face, Ethan gives the cart a push, sending it across the entrance walkway towards the ring, not walking with it. All eyes on him, Leers puts the tire iron down where the entrance stage and walkway meet, then turns around and IMMEDIATELY drops his pants and moons the crowd!! Alan Ducard: On LEGACY's grandest stage, its flagship pay per view event, I would expect nothing less of Ethan Leers. Jimmy Yates: The front office better say something to this guy about how disgraceful that is!! Instead of making his way to the ring, Leers smirks again into the camera which is on the entrance stage, then he turns and rushes backstage through the curtain. Alan Ducard: What is he doing?! The LEGACY Vision jumbotron lights up as the house lights remain dim, and we see Ethan Leers pounding on the head of Crazy Boy in the gorilla position. Having just put the unsuspecting champion on the ground, Ethan Leers puts the boots to Crazy Boy's chest, eliciting a lot of boos from the crowd over what he's doing. Bryan Harris: Smart move by Leers to get this going right away! Jimmy Yates: I should've known he was going to do something like this! It's totally disrespectful to Crazy Boy to not even let the champion have an entrance at the biggest match of his career! Spotting the No Limits Championship belt nearby on the ground - having fallen off of Crazy Boy's shoulder - Ethan Leers goes right over and picks it up. Stalkingly, The Cult Leader holds the belt and waits for the champion to get to his feet. Shaking the cobwebs, Crazy Boy starts to get up, and as he turns around to find his assailant, Leers charges in with the belt raised, ready to brain the champion with it. Crazy Boy quickly sidesteps and executes a drop toe hold, sending Leers into the ground and the belt falls out of his grasp. After stomping down onto Leers, Crazy Boy picks him up, takes him by the head and smashes him face first into the support structure backstage from the entrance curtain, then sends Leers through the curtain with a snapmare. Picking up the No Limits Championship, Crazy Boy wraps it around his waist and heads through the curtain. Alan Ducard: Crazy Boy giving Leers a reason to regret coming backstage. Bryan Harris: I doubt that Ethan Leers is the kind of guy to regret any of his actions, so don't bet on it this time around. Trying to get back to his feet, Ethan Leers stumbles away from the curtain, moving more towards the edge of the stage. When Crazy Boy emerges, he glares at Leers, then starts to look towards the ring to see where his other opponents are. Spotting Chris Turner coming across the entrance ramp in his direction, Crazy Boy also notices the tire iron which is at the edge of the walkway. Picking up the weapon, CB takes a couple step in Turner's direction, slowing him down a step, then he turns and moves in on Ethan Leers, who looked like he wanted to sneak up on Crazy Boy when he thought the champion was headed to the ring. Frozen in place momentarily, that's all the opening Crazy Boy needs to use the tire iron as a club to Ethan's mid-section, doubling him over. Jimmy Yates: That's sweet revenge for ya!! Alan Ducard: These New York fans seem to think so! Tossing the tire iron off the entrance stage down into an area with production crates and floorspace without fan seating, Crazy Boy turns around to go find his other opponents, only to get drilled by Chris Turner with a flurry of clubbing blows. Grabbing the champion around the waist, Turner executes a belly to belly pivot suplex, sending CB down hard onto the steel entrance stage structure. Bryan Harris: The champ shouldn't have let go of that tire iron! Jimmy Yates: That's not exactly Crazy Boy's style, Bryan. Getting to his knees, Chris Turner dives in and drills a headbutt to Crazy Boy's ribs, stopping him from getting to his feet. Before Turner can do anything else, he spots Damien Black coming towards him, the chain in his hands. Chris moves over to the edge of the entrance walkway, almost daring Damien to come at him. When the two meet, Turner is able to duck underneath the swinging chain, then he takes a step in and drills Damien in the side of the neck with a hooking punch that forces Black to take a step back. The next punch is not as successful, though, as Turner gets his hand wrapped up in the chain, which Damien uses to block the assault, wrapping it around the wrist. Alan Ducard: Great defensive move by Damien Black... and now he turns it into an offensive move!! Before Chris Turner can break free, Damien Black twists around and uses the chain to execute a modified hiptoss, sending Turner into a seated position on the entrance walkway in front of him. Taking a step back, Damien Black slams the top of his knee into the back of Turner's head. After sending a second knee to the back of Turner's head, Damien Black is drilled from behind by Crazy Boy, sending him stumbling forwards towards the ring. Tyrone runs forward, grabbing Damien by the back of his shirt and charges towards the ring. Just before they get there, Crazy Boy leaps up, grabs Damien by the back of the head and sends him smashing down into the walkway with a faceslam. Jimmy Yates: And the champion finally enters the ring, and this match can get started! Alan Ducard: There's the opening bell, and in lieu of a proper entrance, Crazy Boy raises the No Limits Championship belt into the air, eliciting a huge cheering pop from the fans. Handing Travis Rollins the belt, Crazy Boy takes off his signature tshirt, tosses it blindly out into the crowd and backs up, watching the entrance walkway where Damien Black is headed his way. Before Black can get into the ring, Chris Turner drills him in the back with a double axehandle smash, sending him down to a knee. Moving up to the apron, Turner slams his fist down into Damien's lower back, sending him sliding forward towards the ringpost, still outside the ring on the apron. When Turner tries to follow it up, he's drilled with a jab from Crazy Boy over the top rope, then grabbed by the head and brought into the ring over the top rope by a suplex. Jimmy Yates: Not the prettiest suplex in the world, but it does the job! The moment he returns to his feet, Crazy Boy runs into the ropes and on the return leaps and lands back-first onto Chris Turner's gut. As the No Limits Champ gets up from the mat, he sees Turner try to get up as well, so he moves in behind him and makes the sign of the Vulcan, then grips down onto Chris' neck with a nerve pinch, a move audibly evident as a non-crowd pleaser. Immediately Turner stops trying to get up and looks to be in complete agony. Alan Ducard: The tough New York City crowd not amused by the submission hold currently implemented by the champion despite having been behind him thus far in the match. Bryan Harris: I'm about the furthest thing from a New Yorker you can get down to the spurs on my boots at home, but I'm still not sure how a smaller guy like Crazy Boy actually hurts people with that nerve pinch. Jimmy Yates: Maybe he really IS a Vulcan. Bryan Harris: The fact that you even suggest that possibility speaks volumes about you, Jimbo. As Chris Turner struggles to get CB to release the Crazy Nerve Pinch, Damien Black enters the ring unbeknownst to either man in the ring and charges forward, connecting with a spinning backfist to Crazy Boy, letting his momentum carry him through both men in a plowing-over tackle-like maneuver that gets some cheers from the New York City crowd. Alan Ducard: Damien Black making his presence felt to not just one - but BOTH of his opponents. Bryan Harris: Don't misspeak, Al... it's not BOTH of his opponents - you're forgetting about Ethan Leers... but Leers didn't forget about the match... When Damien Black reaches down to pick Crazy Boy after punting Chris Turner in the ribs, he's taken down with a guillotine legdrop from Ethan Leers, who had watched things unfold as he climbed the corner turnbuckle unnoticed. After some mounted punches on Damien Black, Ethan Leers watches as Chris Turner is grabbing at Crazy Boy's leg, trying to keep him from getting too far away. Leers bounces off the ropes and does a baseball slide that not only connects with Turner's ribs, but it also knocks him into Crazy Boy, causing the champion to fall out of the ring underneath the bottom rope. Seeing that Crazy Boy is on the floor outside the ring, Leers takes Turner by the head and lifts him up off the mat. After repeated knees to the face, Ethan Leers leaps backwards and slams Chris' face down into the mat, then rolls backwards to give himself some room to get up. Jimmy Yates: HEAD RUSH by Ethan Leers, and some of his more rabid fans at ringside are loving every minute of it! Bryan Harris: Why am I not surprised that New York is full of his "cult" members? Instead of returning to his feet, Chris Turner exits the ring under the bottom rope. Shaking away some cobwebs, Turner finds his backpack, reaches into it and pulls out an industrial stapler and gets right back into the ring. Ethan Leers looks at Chris Turner, sees the stapler and the crazed look in his eye, and then backs up a step. Before Leers can do anything, Damien Black returns to his feet, and at this point there's a three-way standoff, with no one wanting to go after in fear of getting a staple lodged in them. Alan Ducard: Classic standoff situation, and you have to wonder who is going to blink first! Jimmy Yates: I think Crazy Boy is going to settle all that! Entering the ring under the bottom rope, Crazy Boy pops up to his feet and immediately begins spinning his nunchucks. As focus turns to Crazy Boy, Ethan Leers drops to the mat and immediately and rolls out of the ring underneath the bottom rope. Stopping the nunchucks, Crazy Boy looks at Damien Black and Chris Turner and they look back at him. Turner rushes in and Crazy Boy sidesteps and spins the nunchuck, catching Turner in the leg, taking him off his feet. Damien moves in and one of the ends of the nunchuck hits him in the gut, but he hits Crazy Boy with a knife-edge chop that acts as a clothesline to take the No Limits Champ off his feet. Grabbing CB by the wrist, Damien hoists him up off the mat and shoots him into the ropes with an irish whip. On the return Crazy Boy leaps into the air and uses the nunchucks as a club to drill Damien in the head, knocking him off his feet. Before CB can get up, Chris Turner dives in from his knees and puts a staple into the No Limits Champion’s shoulder, then dives forward and connects with an elbow smash to the champ’s face. Bryan Harris: Oh I bet Crazy Boy wasn’t ready for that staple in his arm! He’s less hardcore than I am! Jimmy Yates: You’re not hardcore… Bryan Harris: Oh yeah? My girlfriend begs to differ! Alan Ducard: Certainly more information than I was ready for tonight. When Damien Black starts to get up off the mat, Chris Turner hits him in the head with the side of the industrial stapler, then puts a staple into Damien’s chest through his shirt on the left side of his chest, then the right side. Damien shoots upwards with his fingers with a strike to the throat, dropping Turner backwards, flat on his ass. Damien gets up to his knees, but before he can do anything further, Ethan Leers charges in from behind, grabbing the back of his shirt and flipping over Damien, pulling his shirt up over his head. With Damien unable to see anything, Leers gets to his feet and starts kicking the former No Limits Champ. After a couple kicks, Leers dives in and throws a knee that catches Damien in the jaw. Holding onto Damien’s shirt, Ethan puts a foot onto Black’s shoulder for leverage and he pulls the shirt completely off. There’s a collective gasp through a portion of the fans as they realize what happened. Jimmy Yates: Did he just force those staples out?! Bryan Harris: HECK Yeah!! Now SEE? THAT is HARDCORE! After dropkicking Crazy Boy as he tries to get up from the mat, Ethan Leers kicks Damien Black, flipping him over onto his back. Taking Crazy Boy by the head, Leers hoists him up and off the mat, whipping him overhead with a vertical suplex, sending him crashing down onto Damien Black’s chest. Alan Ducard: I don’t even know what to say about that… except that I’m sure it really hurt. Getting into the mix, Chris Turner drops Ethan Leers with a headbutt. Then he picks up Crazy Boy and throws him across the ring with a modified hiptoss, then turns his attention on Damien Black. After helping pull Damien up off the mat, Chris Turner hits Damien in the chest right where one of the staples was pulled out. When Black swings to retaliate, Turner absorbs the blow and then slams his fist into the other side of Damien’s chest. Jimmy Yates: I don’t think the staple in that side was pulled out with the shirt, and I bet Turner saw that before he punched him! As Damien falls to his knees in pain, we see that the staple is, in fact, still lodged in Black’s chest. Before Turner knows it, Crazy Boy rushes in and drills him in the side of the face. Grabbing Chris by the arm, the champ whips him across the ring into the far corner, where Turner hits back first. Picking up his nunchucks, Crazy Boy yells "Cowabunga!" and starts running across the ring, whipping the nunchucks around, connecting to the legs, arms and torso of Turner, causing him to slump down in the corner. Damien drills Crazy Boy from behind with a rushing forearm strike, causing him to drop the nunchucks. Spinning CB around, Black hoists the champ up off the mat, then throws him backwards with a fallaway slam. Black grabs Crazy Boy by the hair and kicks him as stiff as possible in the face. It looks like Black wants to continue the assault, but Chris Turner comes up from behind him and starts drilling him in the back with rapid punches and forearm shots. Then Turner grabs Damien and flips him up and over his head with a belly to back release suplex. Alan Ducard: All this action, it’s a bit difficult to keep up with what’s going on. Jimmy Yates: I’d say that nunchuck stuff really wore out Turner. That suplex was pure power, I don’t think it had any energy behind it! Bryan Harris: From what I’m seeing, that doesn’t REALLY matter, does it? When Turner moves in to follow up on Black, he’s met with a brutal up-kick by Damien, who moves his legs around to get his knees on the mat, and then he connects with a palm strike to the side of the face that spins Chris around, sending him into the corner. Damien gets to his feet and moves over, striking Crazy Boy to keep him from getting involved, and then he grabs his chain out of the nearest corner and starts walking over to where Chris Turner is facing the crowd, dazed in the far corner. Jimmy Yates: I don’t like where this is headed… Wrapping the end of the chain around his hand, Damien punches Turner in the side. With Chris dazed, Black puts the chain over his opponent’s shoulder, then hoists him up and places Turner’s feet onto the second rope. Climbing up after him, Damien inter-twines the chain between Chris’ arms, pulling them across Turner’s chest. Holding onto the ends of the chain, Damien leaps up and backwards, bringing his knees up into Turner’s chest as he pulls him backwards, falling to the mat. Alan Ducard: A chain-assisted Serial Driller lung-blower by Damien Black, from the second rope non-the-less! Bryan Harris: Who would’ve thought that crazy, dark dude would be so creative?! Getting to his feet, Damien Black exits out onto the apron, picks up his black, old school hockey mask and then starts climbing the turnbuckles. When he gets to the top rope, Damien looks to measure up Chris Turner, but suddenly a half-dozen light tubes slide into the ring under the bottom rope. When Black turns to see where that came from, he gets drilled in the back by one, which explodes into a powdery fog of tiny glass particles. Jimmy Yates: Holy crap, where did Ethan Leers come from?! After hooking Black’s foot on the top turnbuckle to make sure he doesn’t fall, Ethan climbs up to the top rope, hooks Damien around the chest and then spins around and takes Black all the way down to the mat from the top rope with a modified belly to belly, crashing down onto the light tubes with Damien’s back connecting first. The crowd gasps, and then a large portion of the crowd starts chanting “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” Alan Ducard: A slightly modified Cyclorama, but I suppose the moonsault portion of the move was abandoned due to the beating Leers has already taken thus far during the match, not to mention Damien’s extra weight. Bryan Harris: What you just saw from Ethan Leers is SMART, he realizes that the thing to do in these matches is to stay invisible as much as possible and avoid getting an ass beating, and then strike when it’s advantageous. Jimmy Yates: Speaking of which!! Approaching from behind, Crazy Boy slams a kendo stick across the back of Ethan Leers. A second shot drops Leers to his knees, and then Crazy Boy breaks the kendo stick over Leers’ back by slamming it down with one hand on either end of the stick. Throwing the pieces aside, Crazy Boy exits out onto the apron and then climbs up to the top turnbuckle in the nearest corner. Alan Ducard: Crazy Boy appears to be looking for a high risk maneuver… Reaching the top turnbuckle, Crazy Boy motions that he’s going for the Crazy Spin, then leaps off and does his 450 spin, but his knees land on the mat as Ethan Leers rolls out of harm’s way. Bryan Harris: That high risk didn’t seem to pay off, did it?! Grabbing Ethan Leers up off the mat, Chris Turner tosses Leers up and over the top rope, Ethan dropping to the arena floor after bouncing off the apron. Chris Turner then exits the ring through the ropes, hops down to the arena floor, grabs his bookbag and tosses it into the ring before sliding back in after it. Picking up the bag, it’s obviously heavy, and Turner walks over and slams it into Damien Black’s back as Damien is trying to get up. Jimmy Yates: What sort of craziness is in that bag, anyway?! Alan Ducard: I believe we’re about to find out… Leaning over the top rope, Chris Turner opens the large pouch of the bookbag and turns it upside down. Brocken pieces of concrete and bricks fall to the arena floor and a big smile forms on Turner’s face. Bryan Harris: I wonder if there’s anything in the smaller pouch of that backpack. Alan Ducard: I’m not sure I want to know. Jimmy Yates: Does it get much more depraved than concrete and bricks?! Bryan Harris: You bet it does. Rushing up from behind, Ethan Leers slams his own burlap sack into Chris Turner’s back, then slams it down again. Before he can continue, Ethan Leers is struck from behind by Crazy Boy, who appears exhausted. Leers drops the bag and the contents spill on the arena floor. Alan Ducard: Is that… broken glass?! Jimmy Yates: It almost looks like there’s an entire broken window from a car in there. Bryan Harris: Jimbo, you might wanna go to the parking garage here at MSG and make sure that Leers didn’t get to your car, ‘cause I wouldn’t put it past him. As if he’s going for a backslide, Crazy Boy hooks Ethan Leers by the arm, but instead of hooking a second one, Crazy Boy drops to his knees and slings Ethan over, dropping him onto the mat. Returning to his feet, Crazy Boy sends a tired stomp down onto Leers, then backs up a step, measures him, and drops down and chops with the edge of his hand, hitting the middle of Ethan’s back with the entire edge of his arm from elbow to fingertip. Alan Ducard: Good chopping attack from Crazy Boy, and this match seems to certainly be taking its toll on him. Jimmy Yates: He's been involved in a couple strenuous matches as of late, one against Chris Turner with serious outside involvement by Ethan Leers that included a couple chairshots... and a big match on STRIFE 55 against Loco Martinez. Bryan Harris: I don't want to hear any excuses. All these guys had a couple weeks to get ready for this match, and they should all be prepared to do whatever it takes to walk out as the No Limits Champ! Approaching from behind, Chris Turner drills Crazy Boy in the small of the back with a headbutt. As the No Limits Champ drops to his knees, Chris Turner grabs him by the head and drills him with a headbutt right between the eyes. Immediately holding his face, it's obvious that Crazy Boy is in a lot of pain, but he leaves himself open to be picked up by Chris Turner, who puts Crazy Boy over his shoulder and rushes over and slams his back into the top turnbuckle, then quickly spins around, rushes across the ring and slams him into the opposite turnbuckles before spinning around again and driving CB into the mat with a powerslam. Trying not to get stomped on or kicked, Crazy Boy rolls out of the ring under the bottom rope, continuing to roll until he's completely onto the elevated entrance walkway. Alan Ducard: Interesting series of moves there by Chris Turner, and it appears as if he split the bridge of Crazy Boy's nose open with that headbutt... Jimmy Yates: I think being held upside down caused a lot of the blood to rush there, 'cause it's starting to flow now. Instead of going after Crazy Boy, Chris Turner grabs his backpack and starts to go for the smaller pouch, but then he hears something coming and Turner looks behind him just in time to get drilled with a forearm shot by Ethan Leers. Dropping his backpack, Chris Turner retaliates with a punch of his own, sneindg Leers back a step. Leers kicks Chris in the gut, and then turns around and runs into the opposite ropes. On the return, Leers goes for a clothesline, but Turner ducks, then turns around and follows Leers into the opposite ropes and tosses him over the top rope to the outside. Alan Ducard: Quick thinking by Chris Turner, a huge compliment because thinking isn’t Turner’s strong point… Bryan Harris: That’s also a testament to just how tough Turner is, still able to keep going at this point. Reaching down, Chris Turner picks up his backpack and unzips the smaller pouch. After digging around for a moment, he pulls out a small carton of lighter fluid. Going through the ropes, Turner approaches Ethan Leers and starts spraying it on him. Trying to get away, Leers starts rolling towards the entrance stage. Turner tries to follow him, but Crazy Boy reaches up from the arena floor and grabs Chris by the foot. Turner tries to kick Crazy Boy, but CB stumbles away a bit to avoid it. Reaching into the bag, Turner takes out a small lighter and flicks it so the flame comes up. Before he can do anything, though, Chris Turner is drilled from behind by Damien Black. Jimmy Yates: Whether he knows it or not, Damien Black may have just saved… Alan Ducard: He’s on fire! Chris Turner’s arm is on fire! He must’ve spilled some lighter fluid on his arm, and now he’s rolling around on the entrance stage to put out the flames! Getting to his knees, Damien Black starts punching Chris Turner, mixing in some forearm strikes and elbows. As he fixates on his long-time rival, Damien is blindsided as Ethan Leers smashes a light tube across Black’s back. With another light tube in hand, Leers forces Damien up off the entrance walkway, up to his feet, then kicks him in the gut, backs up a couple steps, rushes in, leaps in the air, lands with his knees and the light tube on Damien’s back, and then in one motion, grabs the neck and turns to his back, causing Damien’s back to bend over his knees in a modified back cracker with the light tube held in between his knees and Damien’s back. Bryan Harris: Revolution Breaker with a light tube, GOTTA LOVE IT!! Alan Ducard: Good move by Leers, but you have to wonder if it wasn’t the right move at the right time… The moment Ethan Leers gets up to his feet, Crazy Boy grabs him and hoists him up onto his shoulders and immediately starts spinning around. A large portion of the crowd yells out “CRAZY AIRLINES!!!” and another portion of the crowd waits a moment and then answers it, yelling “DESTINATION – SAMOA!!!”. Hearing the second portion of the chant, Crazy Boy dives backwards with the samoan drop after the airplane spin, and Ethan Leers is driven hard into the entrance walkway, just near the stage. Jimmy Yates: Crazy Boy might’ve spun around four or five times, and I’m surprised that even he’s standing up right now… Alan Ducard: He certainly looks to be dizzy, but Ethan Leers isn’t even able to get to his feet, as he just rolled right off the side of the ramp! Bryan Harris: Don’t worry about him, I’m sure that in the past couple years alone, he has rolled off of a lot of different things in a drunken stuper. He’ll be fine. A bit dazed, Chris Turner comes up from behind Crazy Boy and connects with a double axhandle smash, dropping the dizzy No Limits champ down to a knee. Taking CB by the arm, Turner forces him to rush along the entrance walkway, then throws him up over the top rope, back into the ring. Jimmy Yates: That’s a little bizarre, I wouldn’t expect Turner to WANT the match to go back into the ring. Bryan Harris: Don’t make that assumption, Jimbo. He wants CRAZY BOY in the ring. And… see? He’s not following in. Spotting a table leaning up against the entrance walkway, Chris Turner walks over, lifts it up and moves it onto the entrance stage and sets it up. Still a little tired, Turner stumbles a bit as he sets it up. Turning around, Chris starts looking for his favorite opponent and spots him down at the arena floor. Sitting down on the walkway, Turner hops down to the floor and goes right after Damien Black. Damien spots his rival coming at him and lands the first blow. Turner retaliates, rocking Black back a step. Damien moves in and sends a kick to Turner’s gut, but Chris then charges forward and clotheslines him into the crowd, diving over the top rope with him. Alan Ducard: Both men hit those steel chairs hard, but they’re not trying to give up anytime soon. Jimmy Yates: We’ve still yet to see a pinfall attempt in this match, and since the ref isn’t following Damien and Turner into the crowd, you’d have to think that they’ll have to come back if one of them is going to win this match. As Damien Black and Chris Turner both work their way up to their feet, Damien Black spins Chris Turner around with two right hands. Chris tries to catch his balance, but he ends up walking up the steps, using the handrail to keep himself up. When he spots Damien Black coming up from behind him, he shoots back with a mule kick, grazing Damien’s side, and then he keeps going up the steps. Taking a brief breather, Damien Black turns around and watches as Crazy Boy hops the security barrier and starts walking up the isle, trying to follow them, and then Damien follows Turner up the steps. Bryan Harris: This could be very dangerous, as you not only start to include all the various weapons that those guys could find out in the crowd, but you also see the height start to be a factor. Alan Ducard: If you’ll notice, the damage he has taken in this match is certainly taking its toll on Crazy Boy, who seems a bit reluctant to be following them up into the crowd. Jimmy Yates: You can be sure that he doesn’t want one of them to pin the other out in the crowd… he could lose the belt without even being involved in the finish. Picking up a beer, Chris Turner dumps some in his own mouth, then tosses some into Damien Black’s face. Angered by the show of disrespect, Damien rushes forward and tackles Chris Turner, and the duo have now reached the second tier landing, so Turner stumbles forward a step, but isn’t in any danger of falling down the stairs. As Damien Black tries to lift Turner up, Chris drills him with an uppercut to the gut, then headbutts him. The headbutt seems to hurt both guys, and Turner turns around and stumbles away while Damien takes a knee momentarily. Jimmy Yates: Not a smart move to go for that headbutt… Bryan Harris: All he cares about right now is inflicting pain on Damien Black, and that’s exactly what he did. Trying to stay in on the attack, Damien Black gets up and charges, albeit slowly, at Turner and sends a thrust kick that drills Turner in the hip, spinning him around. Turner stumbles forwards, getting close to the edge of the section, close to the overhang that looks down over the entrance stage. Alan Ducard: Chris Turner should turn around and move away from that ledge. Jimmy Yates: You better get up there quick, Crazy Boy, it looks like one of them is about to get taken out! Moving as quickly as he can, Crazy Boy moves up the steps in the same section where two of his other opponents are fighting. Damien Black moves in and hits a hooking punch on Chris Turner, knocking him into the guardrail. Black moves in and again drills Turner, who spills out over the guardrail, hanging on with his hand and putting his feet down onto the ledge. Damien Black moves in and goes for another hooking shot again, but Turner blocks the shot while holding on with his other arm, then digs his hand into Damien Black’s eyes. Grabbing Damien by the arm and head, Turner starts to lift him up… Chris begins to fall backwards… Damien tries to hold onto the barricade… Turner puts his foot onto the barricade’s lower bar and pulls up, bringing Black up a bit… Turner strains and pulls Damien up and over the barricade… Crazy Boy tries to grab at them, but he’s too late… They start to fall backwards… Chris Turner is able to swing Black around slightly… They fall… AND THEY GO THROUGH THE TABLE SETUP ON THE ENTRANCE STAGE!!! Jimmy Yates: OH MY….!!!! Alan Ducard: NO!!! Bryan Harris: Damien Black went through the table first… but where is he now?! Jimmy Yates: I only see Turner… Damien Black spilled down onto the floor!! Alan Ducard: I’m told we have another angle on the replay… A picture-in-picture appears on the screen where we see a slow-motion replay of Damien Black and Chris Turner falling from the balcony. Damien Black indeed goes through the table first, and the moment they connect with the entrance stage, Turner falls to his side. Still holding Black in his grasp, Chris lets go of his opponent as they start to roll, and Damien Black falls off the stage, landing awkwardly onto the back of his neck. As they see the replay on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, there’s a collective gasp from the fans. Jimmy Yates: That didn’t look good AT ALL!! Bryan Harris: No it didn’t, and Ethan Leers seems to agree with us! Taking advantage of the opportunity, Ethan Leers moves in as quickly as he can and hooks Damien Black’s legs, as he’s already rolled up into an awkward position with his shoulders pinned down. Travis Rollins, having moved in to check on the competitors in the fall, makes the pinfall count. ONE… The crowd watches on, stunned… TWO… Crazy Boy can only watch from the crowd… THREE. Bryan Harris: WOOOOO!! NEW CHAMPION!!! Getting to his knees, Ethan Leers looks to the referee, who is signaling for the bell with one hand while raising The Cult Leader’s hand with his other arm. Jimmy Yates: I just… don’t… believe it… Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner... and NEW No Limits Champion... "The Cult Leader"... Ethaaaaan... LEERS!!! The ring attendant is rushing across the entrance walkway towards the stage, the No Limits Title in his hand. The camera then switches to show Crazy Boy, who looks frustrated and sad and pissed off all at the same time. Alan Ducard: A mix of emotions clearly going through Crazy Boy’s head right now… not only is he no longer the No Limits champion… Bryan Harris: …but Ethan LEERS is the man who takes the belt from him!! HAAA!! Jimmy Yates: Guys, I just got word that something might be seriously wrong with Damien Black… Bryan Harris: Well that’s an understatement… Alan Ducard: Hold on, I’m getting word as well… and it appears that Damien Black has not moved since that huge fall he went through. The EMTs come out from the freight entrance into the arena
bowl and bring a gurney directly over to Damien Black. They first stablize
his neck, and then they work to get him onto the backboard. Not wanting
to focus on the injured competitor any longer, the camera cuts elsewhere. |
