The fans all look up as the scaffold starts to lower from the rafters. The platform is 5 feet wide and 20 foot long. The long wooden plank is reinforced by steel so that it won't break and is being lowered into place by 3 thick steel chains on each side. The platform stops 15 feet above the ring. A ladder has been positioned at ringside at one end of the scaffold and will be removed once both men are on the scaffold. Alan Ducard: Those watching at home who have seen a scaffold match before not only know how dangerous this match is, but may notice that this scaffold is slightly different. The reason for this is Legacy knows the talent and the hatred both these men share and they want this feud to come to a proper end, and they want the fans to get what they paid to see. So the scaffold is slightly wider than your normal scaffold so this won't be just a punch kick match or a wrestler accidentally falling off. These men have been given the room to go all out even knowing the impending danger in a match such as this. Jimmy Yates: It's also pretty obvious that a match like this has tons of potential for serious injury and both wrestlers have signed waivers to not hold LEGACY responsible for anything that may happen during this match. Also as a safety precaution EMTS are already stationed at ringside for the duration of this match. Josephina Colbert: The following contest is a Scaffold Match!! The lights go out and a lime-green laser light display goes off along with a flashing green "M" Monster logo on the LEGACY-tron as "The Key To Gramercy Park" by Deadsy begins to play over the P.A. system. After the initial pop from the fans, knowing who’s entering first, the cheers continue at a lower level as search-lights scan the arena for "Huntington Beach's Most Xtreme", Justin Moreno. Josephina Colbert: Introducing first... from Huntington Beach, California... weighing in at 204 pounds... he is "Huntington Beach's Most Xtreme"... JUSTIN.... MORENO!!! The spotlight finally finds Moreno coming through the crowd wearing baggy lime green and black camo pants with wrestling boots and a home-made white T-Shirt written in magic marker that says "15:01 4 Life" on the front and on the back it says "F**k You Derek Shane" with his wrists taped in black and lime-green wrist tape. Moreno's making his way through the crowd and pulls one of his normal LEGACY shirts out of his back pants pocket, pulls out a Sharpie from his boot, and proceeds to autograph the shirt before tossing it into the crowd. He then takes off in a dash for the ring and is tagging hands with all the fans he sees before jumping over the guard rail. He then runs a lap around ringside, tagging hands with all the fans at ringside before jumping on the apron and flipping himself over the ropes doing a front roll to his feet as he gets in the ring. He then runs to the nearest turnbuckle and gets on the top rope, giving his fans the "X" sign across his chest as he points out to them before doing a backflip off the top rope and landing on his feet. He then jumps in place for a moment before running himself against the ropes in anticipation for Derek Shane's arrival. Alan Ducard: Fans, this is not the usually laid-back, happy-go-lucky Justin Moreno we've known for the past few years. This feud and the rumors regarding his personal life have morphed him into a very determined and fierce individual. Bryan Harris: Big Al, the kid is all bark and no bite. Hell, he might pull something unprofessional like he did at "LEGACY X"! Jimmy Yates: Now you know that was completely justified! How would you feel if someone attacked your wife? Bryan Harris: I wouldn't be happy with it, but I wouldn't have pulled a stunt like Moron-o did! Moreno’s theme song fades out and is replaced with "Beverly Hills" by Weezer. As it plays, a series of stars light up along the walk way as strobe lights start flashing as the music plays. Moreno stares at the entrance waiting for Shane's arrival. Alan Ducard: I have to admit with the way Shane has been acting these past few weeks I didn't expect such a flashy arrival. Jimmy Yates: It doesn't appear he has arrived yet. the song is half over and he hasn't made his way through the curtain yet. Moreno starts to look around to the crowd to make sure he isn't going to be attacked from behind, when all of a sudden the music stops and the lights go out. A sole red spotlight sines on the entrance ramp and a man wearing dirty torn clothing who looks like a bum is seen slowly making his way towards the ring holding a picket sign that reads "THE END IS NIGH". The words "THE END IS NIGH" flash across the Jumbotron and the bum stops halfway to the ring. He holds his sign up high and turns it around so Moreno can see the other side. As Moreno reads the words on the other side of the sign "DRINK COKE" he hurdles the top rope, getting out onto the entrance walkway and rushes towards the bum tackling him knocking the sign out of his hands and just starts to pummel him with his fists. The bum tries to protect himself, but isn't really able to fight back. Bryan Harris: What's this world coming too when Moreno can run around attacking the homeless for expressing their freedom of speech. You know myself, like my good friend Loco Martinez are Pepsi fans, but you don't see us attacking hobos on the street corner. Alan Ducard: Is that Shane in disguise or possibly a member of the Entourage? The lights come on and the crowd boos as they see Derek Shane wearing his black leather trench coat, his eyes are still red and he is now holding the sign high with the words "THE END IS NIGH" facing the camera. Moreno doesn't see him as he continues to pummel the bum and Shane brings the sign down hard across Moreno's back. Moreno falls off the bum and with a second strike with the sign the wooden handle cracks, and with the third blow it breaks. The bum looks up at Shane scared for his life, He starts to crawl backwards on his hands and then hobbles to his feet and runs away, blood dripping from a busted lip as Shane laughs. Jimmy Yates: Something tells me that wasn't a member of the Entourage, not to mention it seems Shane hasn't had much interaction with them that we know of since he has come under the guidance of Issac. Alan Duard: Who was that man then? Bryan Harris: Maybe Shane followed in the footsteps of Happy Gilmore and hired a real bum. The crowd boos as Moreno stays hunched over from the blow, but then lets out a cheer as Moreno fires a mule kick that connects with Derek Shane's gonads and strife. Shane stumbles backwards from the impact and Moreno gets to his feet and rushes at him and sends a solid right hook to Shane's jaw. Moreno fires another right hook, but Shane ducks and sends Moreno flying over his shoulders with a backbody drop right by the ring. Shane shrugs and slips out of his trench coat and he is wearing black jeans and no shirt. Jimmy Yates: You can tell both these men came to fight and finish this once and for all. Alan Ducard: They didn't even bother to wear their regular ring gear. Bryan Harris: Not like spandex is going to help break their fall when one of them gets tossed off that scaffold. Derek Shane looks over at the ladder then tosses Moreno through the ropes and into the ring. He pulls Moreno up to his feet and fires him into the ropes. Moreno rebounds, ducks a clothesline from Shane, then rebounds of the other side of the ring and dives through the air with a crossbody block, but is caught right out of the air by Shane. Shane spins him around and slams him back first into the mat. Jimmy Yates: Shane took a look at the ladder leading up to the scaffold, but instead of making his ascent to the scaffold he tossed Moreno into the ring. Alan Ducard: Maybe he isn't completely cured of his fear like he'd have us believe. Bryan Harris: Shane is just doing the smart thing and wearing Moreno down a bit before he makes his way up the scaffold. Shane pulls Moreno to his feet, but receives an elbow to the gut. Moreno follows up with a spinning Cactus clothesline sending both men tumbling over the ropes to the outside. Moreno holds his back as he gets to his feet and looks to the crowd and sees a fan holding a sign that reads "Moreno use my sign" Moreno smiles and takes the sign from the fan and as Shane gets to his feet Moreno waffles Shane with the sign and Shane quickly slumps to the floor. Moreno rips the sign and we see a STOP sign sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. Bryan Harris: That's uncalled for, and since when is it legal to just randomly steal road signs. No wonder I was almost in an accident on the way to the arena. Moreno goes for another swing of the stop sign, but Shane dodges out of the way and kicks the sign out of Moreno's hand then whips him into the corner ring post. Shane then walks around the side of the ring and grabs the ladder set up to climb up to the scaffold. Shane looks up again then grabs the ladder and collapses it. He then grabs the ladder like a battering ram and runs towards Moreno, but Moreno rolls out of the way and Shane slams the ladder into the ring post causing him to drop it as the vibrations shake his hole body. Moreno grabs Shane by the hair and tosses him over the guard rail and follows him over into the fans. Bryan Harris: Moreno doesn't seem to be in a hurry to get up on that scaffold either. So maybe he's the one with the fear of heights. Moreno spots a fan drinking an Amp Overdrive and the fan offers it to him . Moreno takes a swig then spits it in Derek Shane's face shades of the Great Muta. Moreno then tosses the bottle aside and yells “AMP sucks drink Monster”. Jimmy Yates: Moreno getting some advertising dollars there. Bryan Harris: One guess what Allison will use the money for. While Moreno is distracted by the fan Shane gets up and wipes the drink out of his face, spins Moreno around and goes to level him with a clothesline. Moreno ducks last minute and springs up with an elbow to Shane's face and then sends him back over the guard rail towards ringside. Moreno lifts Shane up and hits a brainbuster on the outside floor. Alan Ducard: Brainbuster on the outside by Moreno, and that floor doesn't give. There is only a thin layer of protective padding on the outside. Jimmy Yates: I'm sure Moreno didn't think about putting down a pillow first after all Shane has put him and his family through. Shane points to the rafters and the scaffold awaiting there and the crowd cheers. He grabs the ladder and sets it up at the end of the scaffold and starts his climb to the heavens. As he climbs onto the scaffold he looks down on the fans cheering as Shane gets to his feet and looks up. His face is completely expressionless. Then a sick sadistic smile crosses his face and his red eyes seem to glimmer as he makes his way toward the ladder and starts his ascent. As he reaches the top Moreno is waiting for him and goes to kick him in the face, but Shane leans to the side so Moreno barely misses him and Shane then slams the side of his fist into Moreno’s shin, causing him to take a step back and Shane is able to climb up onto the scaffold. As soon as Shane and Moreno are both on the scaffold someone quickly takes the ladder down and sets it next to the ring. Jimmy Yates: This match is officially under way. Only way to end it is for one of those men to leave the scaffold the hard way. The two men stare down for a moment realizing what they have gotten themselves into. Moreno steps forward and throws a few punches, but Shane blocks and sends a kick to Justin’s stomach and grabs him and tries to push him towards the edge. Moreno grabs one of the support chains and spins around behind Shane and grabs him in a Hammerlock and starts rubbing his face into the chain. The chain cuts into the flesh of Shane and slowly, blood starts dripping from the freshly opened wounds. Shane fires backwards with an elbow into Moreno's face then turns around and delivers a snap suplex to Moreno, both of them landing on the scaffold, but getting an “OOOOOOHHHH” from the fans in the process. Both men lie on the scaffold, with Shane having a look on his face like what the hell did I just do as the scaffold sways from the impact. Alan Ducard: This got violent quick as Shane is bleeding already. Bryan Harris: Well they didn't go up there to play patty cake. Jimmy Harris: Shane is at a disadvantage as well, if that blood gets in his eyes he might as well be blindfolded up there. Shane starts to get up, but Moreno tries to sweep his legs out from under him, Shane jumps and knees Moreno in the face. Moreno stumbles back but gets up to his feet and runs at Shane and the two start exchanging blows. Moreno ducks a haymaker from Shane grabs his arm, hops up off the scaffold and dives forwards, driving Justin down back first with a urinage onto the scaffold. The scaffold again sways with the impact and the fans cheer and look up in anticipation of someone falling. Jimmy Yates: Both men are taking some serious risks on that scaffold, but the winner can not only say that he was victorious and got his revenge, but should be in line for potential future title shots. Alan Ducard: While the loser may be lucky if he ever wrestles again. Moreno grabs Shane's legs and steps into them and flips him over into the sharp shooter. When he turns to lock it in he turns towards the shorter stretch of the scaffold so Shane's upper torso is hanging off the scaffold. Shane looks down and freaks. He waves his arms frantically and is able to reach back and grab a chain. He pushes with all his leg might and sends Moreno flying forward off towards the other edge of the scaffold. Luckily Moreno is able to grab the chain on the opposite side to stop himself from going over the edge. Alan Ducard: A close call for both men right there. This thing could end at any minute. As Shane goes to stand up Moreno just kicks him in the head and then does it again and just repeatedly kicks him about a dozen times. Shane flailing backwards holding onto the chain with one hand. Moreno goes to kick the hand holding the chain but Shane pulls himself up and sweeps Moreno's feet out from underneath him. Shane quickly pulls Moreno up to his feet and lifts him up into the air for a suplex and starts to move towards the edge of the scaffold when Moreno locks his feet around one of the support chains and elbows Shane in the face. Shane lets go of Moreno and Moreno is hanging upside down from the chain and pulls himself up and starts climbing the support chain heading up into the rafters. Bryan Harris: Where did Moreno go? Is that even legal? Moments later we see Moreno slide down one of the other chains behind Derek Shane and run up behind him and hit him with a running bulldog. As Shane's face meets the scaffold Moreno slides and falls off the end of the scaffold but is able to grab the support chain on the end with one arm. Moreno dangles fifteen feet above the ring trying to pull himself up, while Shane is in no condition to take advantage of the situation. Jimmy Yates: Moreno's own momentum may cost him this match. Bryan Harris: That's what he gets for trying to show off. He’s just lucky that Derek’s face down right now. Moreno is able to get his other hand on the chain and skins the cat to pull himself back up onto the scaffold. Moreno doesn't even think twice before taking another risk. Shane starts to pull himself to his feet when Moreno runs and grabs one of the support chains and spins around swings his body weight around the chain and plants both feet in Shane's face sending him flying off the scaffold to the mat below where he lands with a THUD!. The crowd cheers and chants MOR-E-NO! MOR-E-NO! MOR-E-NO! Medics rush the ring as Moreno stares down at the wreckage of Shane's body in the center of the ring. Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner… JUSTIN… MOOOOOR-EEEE-NOOOO!! This gets another huge cheer from the crowd. The medics immediately start attending to Derek Shane and start prepping him to be moved onto an orange bracer board to then transfer him to a stretcher. Meanwhile a ring side worker sets up the ladder so Moreno can get down. Alan Ducard: We knew going into this that this wasn't going to end pretty. Moreno is still staring down at Derek Shane as the medics place him on the brace board and lift him up. Moreno turns and starts to head towards the ladder that has been set up, but then he looks out into the crowd, a determined look on his face. “This ends for good," yells Moreno, and then he turns around, spots Shane about to be removed from the ring, and Justin leaps off the scaffold. The crowd gasps, and Justin does a flip in mid-air before crashing onto Shane. The impact forces the EMTs to scatter, a couple of them actually falling out of the ring. The backboard Shane was being carried on breaks in half, causing both Shane and Justin to fall into a heap on the mat. The stunned crowd begins a mix of chants. MOR-E-NO! MOR-E-NO! HOLY SH!T! HOLY SH!T! HOLY SH!T! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! The camera zooms in on the two bitter rivals lying in a bloody heap in the middle of the ring. More medics rush out from the back to attend to both Moreno and Shane . While another one checks on the original batch of EMTS who don't seem to have suffered any major injuries, but seem severely shook up. Bryan Harris: Moreno is psychotic, not only did he quite possibly kill himself and Shane, he put all those EMT's in danger. Jimmy Yates: Right about now, I don’t think Justin cares about any of that, and I’m guessing he never will! The way his wife has been treated… I think he’s probably proud of himself! EMT's quickly work on getting Shane and Moreno onto new backboards and out of the ring. Shane's face is covered in blood as he is the first wheeled across the entrance walkway towards the back to an awaiting ambulance. Halfway to the back the lights go out, when they come back on the stretcher is empty and Shane is gone. Jimmy Yates: There is no way Shane could have gotten up… where did he go? Bryan Harris: This is just weird, no one was out, yet Shane is gone without a trace, someone call Anthony Lapaglia. Alan Ducard: Even the EMTs are confused, but they are making way for the other EMTs to take Moreno to the back. Jimmy Yates: One must wonder if this is the last we've seen of Derek Shane? Shortly after the lights come back on an unconscious, bloody, bruised, but victorious Justin Moreno is wheeled across the entranceway, and halfway to the back, the stretcher stops. We see one arm slowly raise and then lower itself again. The crowd cheers this gesture from Moreno trying to let the fans know he will live to fight another day. Moreno is then quickly taken into the back for to a second waiting ambulance.
As T.Rex finishes wrapping tape around his wrist, the locker room door opens, and John Thomas walks in, his hair wet, wearing a pair of white linen pants and a Manchester United football club polo shirt. Following right behind him is Anastasia Ewing wearing a powder blue dress. John pats Arch Angel on the shoulder and leans up against the wall next to him. John Thomas: Big match coming up, big guy. You guys are next, right? Arch Angel nods, but stays focused. John Thomas: I'm looking forward to it. Just like I kicked Kumquat's ass in dominating fashion, you guys are going to... T.Rex speaks up. T.Rex: Kick Domination around in assy fashion? There's silence in the room as everyone else turns and looks at T.Rex, who just grins. T.Rex: Just kidding guys. I just took the words and switched them. John nods. John Thomas: Yeah... yeah you did. Well, I won't get in the way of any last minute rituals you've got, but I just thought I'd show up and let some of my good fortune rub off. I didn't let an inferior opponent beat me, and I know you guys are ready to make sure that an inferior opponent doesn't remain the World Tag Team Champions. John points over at the trophy case. John Thomas: It's time to bring home some more gold, boys.
Landon Savage is backstage talking on his cell phone with what anybody would suspect to be a road agent. As he turns a corner to the locker room area, he is confronted with one Cronos Diamante. Landon Savage: Let me call you back. Landon closes his phone and smiles. Landon Savage: What can I do for you, Cronos? Cronos Diamante: Well I heard Legacy wants to have an epic Supercard. Oh yes, yes, yes… epic Supercard! Huge line-up and all that. Cronos brushes past Landon to grab a bottled water on the catering table behind Landon. He turns around to face Landon. Cronos Diamante: So I say to myself… SELF, I’m not satisfied with just getting a win over Stephen Rawlings in a tag match. Oh no, no, no… satisfaction was not guaranteed! Landon Savage: You still picked up a win, Cronos. You and Ron did a good job together. Cronos holds up a finger and shakes it. Cronos Diamante: Not enough. No sir, nuh uh! Not good enough. So I say to myself again… SELF, why not get booked on the next Supercard, which is meant to be so epic that it has to have a huge line-up, to face Stephen Rawlings one-on-one. Cronos Diamante vs. Stephen Rawlings. The final match! The end all be all. Now I think it sounds like a good idea. Keravnos thinks it’s a good idea. Hell even my beloved Contessa thinks it’s a good idea. Cronos steps up to Landon, face to face and drops the chipper mood and lets a serious face creep through with a slight malice in his voice. Cronos Diamante: Book the match, Landon. Landon Savage: I’ll talk to the front office after Eleventh Hour but I can’t make any guarantees Cronos. Cronos sighs. Cronos Diamante: Try. Hard. Cronos hands his water off to Landon and begins skipping away. Landon Savage: That man needs a psych eval.
The screen goes dark, and the sound of a cello begins to play softly in the background, and then a date fades in. 12/23/2007 The date fades out, and is replaced with "The Diabolik". Images are shown from the match between The Diabolik and Domination from late 2007, which ends in Domination becoming World Tag Team Champions for the first time. The images fade out, and another date fades in. 6/1/2008 The date fades out, and is replaced with "El Chupacabra". Images are shown from the Falls Count Anywhere Match between El Chupacabra and Domination in the middle of 2008, which ends in Domination regaining the World Tag Team Championships. The standing bass joins in with the cello. The images fade out, and another date fades in. 7/ 2 /2008 Images begin to appear of Domination's title defense against the Unholy Alliance, and as those fade, the violins begin to play and another date fades in. 8/ 24 /2008 The image of a ladder fades in as the date fades out, and we see various images from the Four-Way Ladder Match, ending with Domination reaching the top of the ladder to retain the belts. 9/ 27 /2008 A quick flash of John Thomas comes on the screen, then one of Loco Martinez joins it. Images flash in rapid succession appear and overlap each other from the match where Domination successfully defended the belts against the Cirque du Mofo members. The pace of the music quickens. 11/ 23 /2008 The logo for LEGACY X comes across the screen, and then we see pictures of James Win and Gryffin Anselm appear and disappear. Black and white footage from the title defense fade in and fade out, giving only a slightly longer lasting impression than the earlier pictures. Domination defeat The Diabolik and walk away with the World Tag Team Championship belts still in their possession. The music's crescendo abruptly ends in silence, and the screen fades to black before fading back into the ringside area.
Bryan Harris: Yeah, Anarchy are hard working men of character who have fought long and hard to get to the top of the tag ranks. They've fallen, only to make a full comeback, here tonight! They're like wrestling's version of the Wrestler! Jimmy Yates: Does it sound as stupid in your head, Bry? Or do you have those Guinness guys yelling "Brilliant" at every crud thought that you give birth too? The LEGACY Vision tron snaps, cutting off the announcers, and flashing the the opening words: "BANG YOUR HEAD" As Quiet Riot's "Bang Your Head" blasts through the arena the winged T.Rex flashes up on the screen and tramples and rampages all over the words that are on the screen. The screen then becomes a highlight package of Anarchy. Power moves, smiling cockily. Pinning opponents. Alan Ducard: The boys of Anarchy sporting some new entrance music today. Jimmy Yates: I've seen they haven't gotten away from the hair metal. Arch Angel and T.Rex step out. Both men are wearing a black t-shirt that has three ornate letters on the front in silver: CdM. The men stomp to the ring with cocky smirks. The crowd around them jeering and booing. The two men step into the ring, and begin loosening up as their music fades away. The LEGACY Vision tron comes to life with the words RAGE, VENOM, Trent Logan, and Domination each appearing on the screen followed by an action shot image of each man or all three of them together as “Fear” by Disturbed announces Domination’s arrival. When they finally appear with Trent leading both of his fighters, the United Center crowd gives the champions a hearty cheer, showing that indeed the crowd would tonight be in the Champion’s corner. Alan Ducard: Here come the World Tag Team Champions looking to defend those belts successfully for a tag division record-tying five defenses in a championship reign here in LEGACY. Jimmy Yates: Well they look primed and ready to do just that here tonight. I think the arrogance shown by Anarchy in their promotional work leading up to this match has given the Champions some added motivation here tonight on top of the chance to put their names solidly in the LEGACY record books. Bryan Harris: Don’t pencil in those meatheads’ names just yet Jimbo – they haven’t won yet, and I don’t think they will. They’ve never faced Anarchy before, and this veteran team has more tricks up one of their sleeves than Domination has in its entire arsenal. Besides they’ve had the perfect model of a champion to learn from in Loco Martinez. Trent stops at ringside in Domination’s corner as the champions enter the ring, belts strapped firmly around their waists. They raise their arms to the crowd which gets a nice reaction from the crowd – before finally relinquishing the belts to the timekeeper, and turning their focus to Anarchy. Josephina has exited the ring, the music has died, but a “DOM-IN-ATION” chant begins through the arena as RAGE steps into the ring to meet. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is set for one fall and IS FOR LEGACY's Tag Team Championships of the World! Introducing first, the challengers: Weighing a combined 572 pounds, Arch Angel... T.Rex... they are, ANARCHY!!! The crowd boos as Angel and Rex stare down Domination who match their icy glare. The crowd starts a Dom-In-Ation! Chant. Josephina Colbert: And their opponents, accompanied by their manager, Trent Logan, at a combined weight of 585 pounds, they are the two-time and REIGNING LEGACY World Tag Team Champions … Ben “RAGE” Murdock, Steve “VENOM” O’Reily … this is Domination! Alan Ducard: Our referee for this bout is Leonard Nolan, and it looks like T.Rex and Rage will be starting us off here tonight. Jimmy Yates: Its odd to see T.Rex as being the smallest man in this match up. Bryan Harris: They are Legacy's two largest tag teams. On paper, Rage is the "quick one" of these four. A lot of power will be on display here tonight. Alan Ducard: Too right. Rex eyes up Rage and points to the titles which are being handed over to the time keeper by Nolan and says "They're coming with us". Rage just shakes his head. The referee calls for the bell. Alan Ducard: Here we go! Rex pokes Rage in the chest a few times while running his mouth. We can see Murdock getting more and more annoyed, until. BAM! Rage rocks T.REx with a right hand. Winds up. Nails a second one. He grabs T.Rex by the wrist and whips him off the ropes. Ben then leaps and drives his shoulder into T.Rex taking him down with authority. Jimmy Yates: Nice flying shoulder block from Ben Murdock. Bryan Harris: More like the "flying meat-head". Rage is back up and begins to stomp down on T.Rex's chest. He brings Rex to a vertical base, scoops him up and slams him down with a bodyslam. He bounces off the ropes and drives and elbow across Rex's chest. Alan Ducard: Really working on taking the wind out of T.Rex. Keeping the pace quick and keeping the older man working. Jimmy Yates: SIze and power wise these two teams are pretty evenly matched. But Anarchy is much longer in the tooth than Domination. Probably in better cardiovascular shape, too. Rage is back to his feet. He brings T.Rex up with him, and whips him hard into the Domination corner. He runs in, and spins nailing a running back elbow that whiplashes T.Rex's head. Jimmy Yates: There goes what last few brain cells, Teddy had. Bryan Harris: Show some professionalism, Yates! Our job isn't to sit here and make fun of the competitors! Jimmy Yates: But... but.. you -- *sigh* -- Rage drives a few shoulders into the older man's rib cage, and reaches up and tags in Steve O'Reily. Venom steps into the ring, and both men hook T.Rex for a double suplex. They take him up and hold him vertically. The crowd watches in awe of the impressive display of tandem power. As the referee begins a five count to get Rage out of the ring. They both fall back driving him down with the double team vertical suplex. Venom floats over and makes the cover. One... Two...NO! Rex out right after two. Venom is up, bringing Rex with him. He goes to whip Rex off the ropes, but the Anarchy member reverses it. Venom off the ropes and Rex levels him with a clothesline. T.Rex then runs and nails a double stomp on the abdomen of Steve O'Reily. He then steps to his corner and tags in Arch Angel. Both men stay in the ring. Rex scoops up, O'Reily and takes him down with an impressive side belly to belly suplex. He brings up O'Reily one more time to his feet, and sets him up in side russian leg sweep position. Angel jogs and bounces off the ropes, and as he gets to O'Reily buries a big boot into his face as T.Rex launches back with a side russian leg sweep. Alan Ducard: Innovative double team maneuver from Anarchy, right there! Bryan Harris: Wonder if all the meat in that head of his cushioned the blow? Jimmy Yates: What happened to "its not our job to make fun of the competitors, Bry"? Bryan Harris: When I do it its funny. Angel drops to make a cover. One... Two-no! O'Reily powers out. Alan Ducard; And now the two biggest men in the match will square off to see which one truly is the "hoss" as you Americans might put it. Angel brings Venom up, and buries a knee into his midsection, doubling Venom over. He then brings both hands up over his head and with a sickening thud comes down hard across the upper back with a standing axe handle smash. Jimmy Yates: Simple. Effective. Brutal. Angel winds up one more time and again drops a second axe handle smash across the back of O'Reily. This one sending Steve to his knees. Angel makes a quick tag to T.Rex who steps in, and takes off running and nailing a low diving shoulder block that crashes Venom to the mat. T.Rex scrambles and makes a cover. One... Two... TH-no! Alan Ducard: I wonder if T.Rex learned that kind of flying maneuver from his employer? T.Rex scoops Venom up and whips him hard into the Anarchy Corner. T.Rex then backs up and makes a running charge looking for the running splash in the corner... Alan Ducard: NOBODY HOME!!! T.Rex crashes chest first into the turnbuckles... Jimmy Yates: I swear to god the ring just moved about 3 inches. O'Reily gets behind and rolls up T.Rex. One... Two... THRE-NO!! Arch Angel is in and breaks up the pin attempt with a stomp. Rage is irate on the other side, as Angel sarcastically blows him a kiss. Rex gets up holding at his ribs, which were already tender from the earlier offensive barrage. He tags in Angel, who quickly reenters the ring and begins working boots to O'Reily's left shoudler. He gets Venom to his feet, holding onto Venom's left arm and drops him down with a single arm DDT. He holds onto the arm, turns his body around, and laying across Venom's back turns it into an arm bar. O'Reily writhes in pain as Angel leans back, and uses his height advantage to sprawl across the ring, making it harder for Venom to reverse or escape. Alan Ducard: Its not the most technically sound arm bar I've seen. Jimmy Yates: Yeah, neither member of Anarchy is known for their mat prowess. Venom begins to inch his way to the ropes. Angel really leans back trying to put all his weight and strength into the arm bar, but Steve O'Reily continues to move to the ropes, eventually getting his let up on the bottom rope. The referee begins the five count. Arch Angel leans back hard... The crowd booing the lack of sportsmanship. three... four... Angel finally lets it go. The crowd booing. The referee attempts to admonish Arch Angel, but he just shrugs him off and stomps violently on the left shoulder. He brings Venom up to his feet, and drives his shoulder into the shoulder of Steve O'Reily, which drops O'Reily to a knee. The Anarchy Member brings O'Reily up, and again drives shoulder into O'Reily's bum shoulder. Alan Ducard: Really working that arm and shoulder, hoping to eliminate some of the power based moves that Venom would hope to utilize. Bryan Harris: Honestly? I think he's trying to beat some charisma into him. Angel brings O'Reily up one more time, and gives him an arm ringer. He backs into his corner, and tags in T.Rex. ANgel holds the arm out to the side. T.Rex scales the ropes and goes to the top rope, and leaps off with a double axe handle off the top rope onto the upper arm/shoulder area. Bryan Harris: T.Rex's CAN fly! Alan Ducard: Quick tags. Tandem offense. Classic tag team tactics on display from our challengers! T.Rex smirks cockily and drives a nasty headbutt into the shoulder. T.Rex then bounces off the ropes and nails a running shoulder tackle that takes O'Reily down. T.Rex jumps to his feet and drops a knee on the shoulder. T.Rex back to his feet one more time and stomps violently... we hear Bryan Harris giggle to himself. Jimmy Yates: *annoyed* WHAT?! Bryan Harris: Head... shoulders... knees and toes!! Harris laughs at his corniness. Jimmy Yates: Stop. T.Rex drops and makes a cover. One... two... Thr-NO! Venom shoulders out, but lets out yell of pain. Alan Ducard: The effort it took to shoulder out there, we could see the pained expression on Venom's face, and we heard that gutteral moan. T.Rex stands up clearly, annoyed with the referee, and gets in his grill poking him, insisting that it was a three count. Alan Ducard: You DON'T want to give either man of Domination a chance to gain a second wind! The argument ends, T.Rex still annoyed, he turns to Venom. He's met with a boot to the gut, that doubles T.Rex over. He nails a huge clubbing forearm to the back of T.Rex, which straighten's Rex up. Venom grabs T.Rex and pulls him in with his left arm, wincing while he does it, and nails a short armed clothesline that sends T.Rex down, hard. Venom drops to a knee as the crowd starts chanting, and cheering urging O'Reily to make a tag to Ben Murdock who's looking like a caged panther, pacing on the apron. Venom gets to his feet, and makes his way to his corner for the tag. He goes to reach, and comes up just short. T.Rex now grasping on Venom's leg like a desperate child not wanting his parent to leave for work. Venom smirks... and drops an elbow across T.Rex's back. The crowd roars. Venom gets back to his feet, and tags in Rage. Rage comes in quickly. He grabs T.Rex and whips him off the ropes, and Rage and Venom line up shoulder to shoulder, making sure Venom uses his right shoulder... and nail a double shoulder block on T.Rex. Rage bring T.Rex to his feet, drives a quick boot into his gut. Follows that up with an European uppercut. Another boot. And snaps him down with a DDT. Alan Ducard: We see the fast striking that Ben Murdock can bring to the table. Murdock shoots a halfnelson, and makes a cover. One... two.... Thre-NO! T.Rex kicks out. Rage back up, bringing T.Rex with him. Reaches and tags in Venom. Venom comes in, He grabs T.Rex in an inverted facelock... Rage quickly heads to the top rope. Alan Ducard: Looks like Domination is looking for the Gut Check! Rage leaps off the top rope, nailing a beautiful hanging elbow drop across the ribs of T.Rex as Venom drops him down with a reverse DDT. Jimmy Yates: And lets remember, the damage T.Rex's ribs have already taken this match! O'Reily with the cover! One... Two... THree-BOOOOOOOOO!!!! Alan Ducard: That dastardly Arch Angel comes in and breaks up what was SURE to be a three count. Bryan Harris: Hey, if Dumb-ination can use two guys for a move. Anarchy can use two guys to kick OUT of that move! Venom back up, bringing T.Rex back up with him. T.Rex lashes out with a straight right hand to Venom's banged up shoulder. Rex then whips him hard into the Anarchy Corner. He charges in burying his shoulder into midsection of O'Reily. T.Rex collapses, still feeling the effects of the "Gut Check", but reaches up and tags in Arch Angel. Angel steps in, and puts his huge size 15 boot up under Venom's chin, choking the man. The referee starts the 5 count. Alan Ducard: Another short cut from Anarchy. I'm surprised we haven't seen more shenanigans from the Cirque in this match. Jimmy Yates: The match isn't over yet. As the referee gets to 4 Arch Angel drops his boot. Venom drops to a knee gasping for air. Angel grabs the big man, whips him off the ropes and nearly decapitates him with a huge big boot. Bryan Harris: Who knew O'Reily had such a fondness for "Boot sole"... its a dish best served cold, you know. Arch Angel makes a cover. One... Two... Thr-NO! Another kick out, another pained wince from Venom. Jimmy Yates: Its starting to make MY shoulder hurt to watch him torque and have to lift either member of Anarchy off of him. Angel back up, bring Venom up roughly using the shoulder that has been the focal point for much of the match. Angel whips Venom back into their corner hard. He runs in and nails a knee lift into the gut of Steve O'Reilly. He reaches up and tags in T.Rex, who steps in and takes off towards the ropes, but veers at the last second and nails Ben Murdock, sending him flying off the apron his back bouncing off the elevated entrance ramp. The crowd voices their disproval, as Arch Angel whips Steve O'Reilly across into his own corner, and thanks to the cheap shot from T.Rex... nobody is there to make a tag. Angel runs in and nails another knee lift. Angel steps to the side, and T.Rex circles around and nails a running splash. The two men throw their hands in the air, cockily... incredibly proud of themselves. Alan Ducard: They're disgustingly proud of themselves, aren't they? Bryan Harris: They're about to bring more gold to the "Big Top", Al... wouldn't you be?! Angel points at T.Rex to get to the middle rope as he violently pulls Venom away from the corner. He nails a vicious slap, which only infuriates Venom, he fires back with a right hand that staggers Angel, but he snaps back and buries a boot into the midsection of Venom, and starts hooking him up for his half of the "Anne Archery". T.Rex heading up for his Vader Bomb styled splash from the middle rope. We see Rage pulling himself up to the apron, still feeling the effects of that cheap shot that sent him crashing into the entrance ramp, and floor. In the ring we see Venom using all of his power to stand up out of the set up, back body dropping Arch Angel out over the top rope. Angel bounces off the apron and down to the floor below. The crowd LOVES it! Alan Ducard: Wow. What power! Rage then leaps and hits an elbow to the side of T.Rex's temple, that stuns him. Venom, then gets to his feet, and hits a forearm to Rex's back before sliding underneath him, facing out towards the ring. Venom hoists a stunned, but increasingly shocked T.Rex, into powerbomb position... Rage slaps his partner on the back, the referee sees the tag, and Rage jumps to the rop rope. The crowd roaring, everyone on their feet Alan Ducard: Could it be?!?! Jimmy Yates: YES! Bryan Harris: NO!!! Powerbomb from Venom! Top rope flying clothesline from Rage! Flash bulbs go off around the arena... Alan Ducard: It IS! TOTAL. DOM.IN.ATION!!! Rage makes the cover. The crowd counting along with the referee: One... Two... Arch Angel tries to lunge to break it up... but its too late. THREE!!!
Josephina Colbert: Your winners of the match... and STILL Legacy World Tag Team Champions. "Rage" - Ben Murdock. "Venom" - Steve O'Reilly... DOMINATION!!!! "Fear" by Disturbed hits as the referee is handed the tag championships, who then hands one to each member of Domination. Alan Ducard: When we were watching the recap video of Domination's tenure here in LEGACY, I truly thought that tonight might be the night of Cirque du Mofo and that the World Tag Team Championships were going to change hands, but the historic reign continues on. Bryan Harris: I guess we're not fortunate enough to see someone take the gold from Logan's Guns here tonight, so now we'll have to sit through people talking about how Domination are possibly the best tag team of all time. Jimmy Yates: Well their reign is probably at least as long as what The Diabolik reached, and now they've had the same number of title defenses - against arguably tougher opponents than The Diabolik defended against. Dominaton definitely deserves a spot in that conversation of Best Tag Team of All Time. Alan Ducard: It will be interesting to see which team steps up next to face the task of trying to take the World Tag Team Titles from Domination. RAGE and VENOM are joined
by Trent Logan as they cross the elevated
walkway, who pats both men on the back and then raises their
arms in victory, each holding his tag team championship belt up into
the air. The trio maintain the
pose as they walk backwards towards the curtain, and then they
disappear to the back. |
