Following Footsteps

Standing in front of the LEGACY banner backstage, interviewer Andrew Kelley holds out a microphone between himself and Crazy Boy, who still looks a little dinged up after his match 48 hours ago.

Andrew Kelley: I'm here with "Crazy Boy" Tyrone Smith, who just two nights ago capped off a great pre-show by getting arguably the biggest win of his career as he defeated former LEGACY World Champion Crash. Now I'm told you wanted to make an announcement, so I'll turn the mic over to you.

Andrew hands the microphone over to Crazy Boy.

Crazy Boy: You're right. That was my biggest win of my career. I've been doing a little thinking the past couple of days. As the majority of the locker room and the fans know that Greyson Blade is my mentor, he is one of the greats of LEGACY, and anyone would be privileged to walk in his footsteps. I've been watching some old footage and previous great matches with him, and I noticed what he did with the No Limits title. I hope to someday achieve as much as The Outlaw has, and I think a good way to continue along those lines is to see what I could do with the No Limits Belt. So beit Issac Entragian or Damien Black, I am sending out a challenge: Whoever walks out of here tonight with the No Limits title, I would like to step into the ring against them with the belt on the line at SuperCard STRIFE 50.

His eyes widening just a bit, Andrew nods his head.

Andrew Kelley: Well after your win against Crash, you certainly made the case to deserve a championship opportunity, and with the momentum you’ve got going, I’m sure Matthew Dawson just breathed a little sigh of relief. SuperCard STRIFE 50 is set to be a milestone show, and with this challenge, there could very well be a great match coming.

Monsters Don't Back Down

The feed buzzes into life with a black and white video reel, blasting out static and white noise. A low hum awakens in the background, and images start to flicker across the screen. A hockey mask with a celtic cross plastered across the front, and in the eyeholes of the mask there is only fire, billowing irises that comprise an inferno.

Another reel flickers onto the screen, a mouth full of razor sharp teeth, and the tongue of a devil flicking against these teeth. Pallid white flesh and eyes so cold you would mistake the owner of them for a corpse. The mouth exhales plumes of ice cold air, the forked tongue darting back into the maw as the demon grins.

Ben Moody’s “The End Has Come” begins to assault the audio waves at this point, and video footage of Black and Entragian’s war accompanies the song.

“Took from me all that I had.”

Entragian in the ring at Strife 43, giving his reaction to the news of Black vs Entragian at LEGACY X for the No Limits Championship.
The Ivory Terror: So I say BRING ON the Savior of Sadism. Let him come with barbwire on his fists and HATE in his heart, because I wouldn’t want it any other way. But know this, dearest Black; I’ll meet you with teeth bared and claws ready to rip. We’ll play, you and I, and what a dangerous game it’ll be, and with such a special prize hanging in the balance.
Entragian removes the No Limits Championship from his shoulder, raising it towards the heavens.

“With my soul and spirit dead.”

Black training in Church Hill, Tennessee, hitting the weight bench and pressing five hundred pounds, his teeth clenched in determination. The embers of his soul already starting to burn once more, reignited by a little stoking on the part of the albino.

“Killing everything in me.”

Entragian training in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, pulling his near three hundred pound girth up over and over again by way of a chin-up bar. His heavy white hair falls into his face, where we see just a glimmer of green, the narrow slits of his eyes.

“What does one use to be free?”

Entragian brutalizes Justin Moreno, his eyes never leaving Damien Black as he stands on the apron as Justin’s tag team partner. Issac hits “SPINAL DOOM”, looking over at Damien with a sick smile plastered across his face.

“Now to drive away the pain.”

Damien sharpens his hatchet along a grinding stone in the middle of a cantilevered barn, sparks flying against his bare arms, yet he barely feels this, all thoughts centered on dethroning the albino tyrant.

“I’ll destroy all I disdain.”

Issac strokes the faceplate of the No Limits Championship, in the same way a loving father would stroke the head of his infant child. The monster’s gaze is pure greed, his fingers tightly locked around the leather belt.

“I’ll become what I despise.”

Damien reads the dirt sheets, seeing the “choke artist” comments that many of the wrestling critics and reporters have made about him. His throat constricts with emotion, his eyes glassy, knowing deep down that he still has what it takes to win the big one.

“Living someone else’s life.”

Ezekiel Caine begins to somewhat distance himself from Black, seeing just how obsessed Damien is with his training, just how focused he is prepare himself for what’s sure to be the bloodiest of battles.

“Don’t ever back down.”

Elizabeth Gaunt massages the shoulders of her pallid colossus, trying her best to soothe the beast within, which is already straining to break out. Entragian’s eyes are cold, yet beneath that frigid gaze there is a burning desire to be the best, to mow through anything that stands before him.

“Don’t ever turn around.”

Entragian is shown throttling Ethan Leer’s by the throat, clamping down maliciously on his windpipe, before Black makes his appearance at the top of the ramp. Issac flings Ethan to the side as though he is a mere afterthought, his attention immediately focused on his nemesis.

“My end has come.”

The monsters circle each other in the center of the ring at LEGACY X, like two gladiators about to destroy one another in the bloody confines of the Coliseum. Black brandishes a steel chain, while Issac twirls “The Slayer”.

“So now I come for you.”

Both men trading punches, Black slamming into Issac with palm strikes, and capping off the assault with a spinning back fist. Entragian responds in turn, nearly snapping Black’s jaw loose with a bone-crunching uppercut.

“Now obsession rules my mind.”

Elizabeth Gaunt lying partially nude with the No Limits Title censoring her bare lower body, a little black string bikini with cherries on struggling to support her ample bosom. Entragian’s forked tongue slips out, licking his lips in deranged lust.

“This commotion makes be blind.”

Damien sits on a wooden stool in the middle of his barn, staring at a portion of the wall that is tacked up with his TTW and OPW accomplishments, and we see a yearning in those heated eyes of his.

“Searching out whoever runs.”

Black slams his knees into Issac’s back with a chain assisted lung-blower, Black pulling back on one of Issac’s huge arm with a kimura lock.

“Or has stolen away my life.”

Entragian sinks his teeth into Black’s bicep, gnawing at his flesh like a rabid animal and forcing him to release a submission hold. Entragian smashes Damien into the canvas with a jackhammer.

“You trip on everything.”

Black soars through the sky, hitting his flying headbutt. Entragian flies the air as well, hitting WINGS OF WAR, effectively clipping Damien right across the throat with his patented flying clothesline.

“I’ll take your tired breath.”

Both monsters bleeding from the head, crimson stained faces contorted with a mutual hatred for one another. The age old battle of evil vs another kind of evil.

“I can’t feel anything.”

Both monsters fight through the pain, seeming almost numb to it, striving to do the absolute purest amount of damage to one another.

“I live to see you to your death.”

Black wraps his chain around his shoulders, sliding his hockey mask onto his scarred face as he prepares for the fight of his life.

“Your heart will bleed.”

Entragian slides “The Slayer” into the sheath along his hip, gingerly strapping the iron forged club into place. He begins taping his fists, the tape matching the color of his flesh, those eyes betraying nothing but a sick desire to maul.

“As my vengeance is spread.”

Black spears Issac right out of the ring at LEGACY X, and then we see Issac smashing a steel chair into the back of Damien’s skull as he lies face down on the canvas.

“Through your tortured expense.”

The pain is their tool, to be felt and inflicted, to grind through and prevail.

“Cuz I’ll never back down.”

Black drives Issac to the mat with The Excommunicator, driving a red-drenched albino demon straight into the unforgiving canvas and creating a scarlet smear as bloodied head connects with pristine white.

“I’ll drive you down.”

Entragian blasts Damien across his chain-covered knee, hitting a dynamic Disemboweler that shakes the very foundations of the ring, sending a sputtering and retching Black halfway across the ring.

“I’ll beat you to the ground.”

Both men trading punches, neither monster willing to give an INCH.

“My end has come.”

The albino swings the crimson-stained No Limits Championship upwards, gripping the leather firmly as he exits the ring.

“So now I come for you.”

Black wraps one of his big fists with the steel chain, his emotionless hockey mask reflecting just how heartless he needs to become to put an end to Entragian.

“DON’T BACK DOWN!”

No Limits Championship Match
Damien Black vs Issac Entragian ©

Darkness descends on the United Center, a cold abyss that seems almost alive, twisting and slithering through the thousands of warm bodies in attendance tonight. A chill seems to blanket the arena, originating from the top of the ramp, where already an artic ground mist has begun to spread outwards, tendrils of fog curling through the curtains leading backstage. A single pallid spotlight illuminates the head of the ramp, trying to compete with the blackness. Jimmy Yates: Is it just me, or did it just get VERY cold in here all of a sudden?

Bryan Harris: I feel it too, Jimbo. With the arrival of this cold-hearted demon, the temperature has certainly dropped.

Alan Ducard: By jove, I have to wonder if Issac arriving first to the ring is a sort of psychological ploy by the “Ivory Terror”.

As if on cue, the curtains begin to billow outward, a mixture of snow and ice blowing forth and obscuring any firm view of what’s happening at the top of the ramp. Air converters blast out cold air, making the entire ramp feel like the entrance to a meat locker.

“ALL OUR TIMES HAVE COME!”

Blue Oyster Cult reverberates through the United Center loudspeakers, and the pale beast finally emerges from this man-made blizzard. Issac stands in the middle of the winter weather at the edge of the elevated walkway, frost and bits of icicles clinging to his mane of white hair. He breathes deeply, exhaling puffs of icy oxygen. The monster wears a heavy fur coat that reaches all the way to his ankles, the purest white, cut from the back of a polar bear. The animal’s black claws still reside along the coat’s sleeves. Underneath, Entragian is bare-chested, his pale flesh almost blending in with the coat. Issac wears his bone-colored tights, with IVORY down one leg and TERROR down the other, and all around the lettering are twists and loops that form a white barbwire design. On his feet Issac wears bleached rattlesnake skin wrestling boots, which terminate just below the knee.

The No Limits Championship remains in its rightful position around his waist, glimmering and shining as the arena lights pop back on, one bye one. A hood covers most of the Issac’s head, including his eyes. All that we can see of his face is a mouth, bared in a cannibal’s grin. Also emerging from the back is Issac’s other half, Elizabeth Gaunt. She’s sporting a stark white corset, laced down the front, along with a skimpy white skirt, white fishnet lace, and a pair of furry white boots. She tosses her freshly dyed blonde hair with black tips, smirking out at the crowd with a devilish glint in her eyes. As the unpopular pair begin to make their way towards the ring, the crowd unleashes with an enormous negative response, accompanied by a “YOU’RE A FREAK! CLAP CLAP CLAP, YOU’RE A FREAK!” chant. Entragian takes it all in stride, simply smiling even wider, his confident strut not faltering for even a second. Liz bounces along right beside him, spouting off to any and every fan she passes, hurling obscenities as she goes.

The albino stops once he nears the apron, turning and sweeping back his hood to reveal those malicious green eyes. His gaze wanders towards a fan holding a “BLACK” sign decorated with crayons to look like the word is surrounded by fire. He violently rips the sign out of the young man’s hand, then stands directly in front of the boy as he tears the sign in half and steps on it. Liz laughs, mouthing the word “AWWWW!” as dramatically as she can to further mock the fan. Issac just leers, scoffing as he makes his way into the ring. After stepping over the top rope, Entragian slowly removes his fur coat, to reveal a torso that is a testament to just how many wars this mountain of albino muscle has taken part in. His body is like a walking scar, all etched into the ripped ligaments and tendons of his imposing form. We see that Issac’s hands are taped all the way up to the wrist, and he’s also wearing white elbow pads with an upside down cross emblazoned on the point of each elbow. Entragian hesitates, then after a moment he unsnaps the No Limits Title from his waist, shoving it into the hands of Don Bower without even making eye contact with the referee.

Once this is done, Elizabeth presses herself against her man, and the two of them lock lips, Issac’s forked tongue making a meal of the girl’s mouth as she finishes granting him his good luck kiss. After Liz leaves the ring, Issac closes his eyes, inhales deeply, and then allows those killer emeralds to open back up, looking out at the crowd that hates him so much. He moves towards the side of the ring closest to the ramp, grabbing the top rope and literally roaring, specks of saliva flying from his sharpened teeth as he screams for his enemy to show himself.

Alan Ducard: Issac is shouting at the entrance way for Damien Black to show himself and I think we’re entering a bit of mental manipulation by both men here.

Jimmy Yates: Honestly, the thoughts of what these two could potentially do to each other makes me very uneasy right now as we could have two corpses on our hands before the night is over.

Bryan Harris: This is gonna be a heck of a car-wreck, Jimbo!

Just then, we hear a continuous loop of blood-curling screams, from the end of Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” remake as the lights dim and turn a crimson shade of red.

Alan Ducard: Blimey, this can’t be good...

Bryan Harris: It looks like Damien’s wanting to play some mind games of his own here and I have to admit, he’s giving me the creeps right now.

Jimmy Yates: No doubt that Damien Black appears to be more focused than he has been in quite some time, so I hate to wonder what this match has in store.

After about a minute or so of screams, we then hear the beginning of “Titanomachy-The Beginning” by The Showdown start to play as the area starts to buzz with the anticipation of the arrival of the “Savior Of Sadism”. As the guitars fully kick in, a huge explosion of fire takes place along the elevated entrance walkway, lighting the sides of the walk-way on fire and the sides of the stage are on fire as well with more shooting high above as Damien Black emerges, completely silent with his trademark black old-school hockey mask with a crimson version of “The Punisher” skull painted on the front, a tight black “Damien Black” T-Shirt, revealing his tattooed and scarred arms and black and red wrist tape with him brandishing his steel chain and wearing baggy black pleather karate pants with crimson flames on one pant leg and the red “Punisher” skull on the other pant leg.

He slowly and methodically makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans, some who absolutely hate him for his past and others who want him to take down the “Ivory Terror”. He pauses just before he gets in the ring, glaring right at Entragian for a moment before stepping in the ring and climbing the nearest turnbuckle, going into a crucifixion pose before looking right back at Entragian with his had clutching his chain as he kneels in his corner and seems to be saying some sort of silent prayer. He stays crouched with his head bowed as Josephina Colbert makes her introductions.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is for the No Limits Championship... introducing first... the challenger... from Church Hill, Tennessee... weighing in tonight at 286 pounds... he is “The Savior of Sadism”... Damien... BLACK!!!

Black pounds the canvas with his fists and rises to his feet glaring at the champion who stands there stoically as well.

Josephina Colbert: And introducing the champion... from Mideon, Nebraska... weighing in at 312 pounds... he is “The Ivory Terror”... Issac... ENTRAGIAN!!!

Both men stand in their corners not moving a muscle as Don Bower rings the bell to start the match.

Alan Ducard: Referee Don Bower has been scheduled to referee this match...

Jimmy Yates: The poor son-of-a-....

Bryan Harris: Language, Jimbo!

Alan Ducard: Neither man has left their corner and they’re both clutching their weapons before this match starts.

Jimmy Yates: It’s gonna be interesting to see who does what here early on.

Bryan Harris: These two are like cobras fixing to fight each other to the death!

Alan Ducard: What’s this? Black is actually setting his chain down? I have to wonder if this is the most wise strategy here.

Jimmy Yates: My guess is he’s actually wanting to beat Issac without having to resort to the weapons unless he needs to.

Bryan Harris: I think this is incredibly fool-hardy here.

Alan Ducard: But egad, Issac has set “The Slayer” down too and by the looks of things... we’re gonna be in for an actual match between these two.

Jimmy Yates: Question is, how long do these two keep at it before the weapons come into play, which they will.

Bryan Harris: Well, we’re gonna see our-selves a good old-fashioned “slobber-knocker” as a famous red-neck from Oklahoma once put it.

Both men start to circle each other briefly before moving in toward one another as Issac fires some boxing punches, only for Black to block them and Black tries some open-palm strikes and fore-arms, only for Issac to block those as well. Black tries to go for a double-leg takedown, but Issac tosses him off. Black then backs up and fires a round-house kick to the mid-section before making an Irish Whip attempt, only for it to be reverse by Entragian into a vicious powerslam.

Alan Ducard; What a thunderous powerslam there by Entragian as he’s trying to end this early!

One...

Two...

Jimmy Yates: No, it’s gonna take a lot more than that to end this thing.

Bryan Harris: Well, it wasn’t exactly gonna hurt Entragian to try and end it early, now was it?

Entragian then takes Damien in the corner with shoulder thrusts before whipping him into the opposite corner. Issac charges, only to hit the turnbuckle chest first. Black then uses the opportunity to fire some open palm strikes followed by a spinning back fist, leaving Issac dazed on his feet. Black then fires some MMA-style forearms before knocking Issac to a knee on the second spinning back fist.

Alan Ducard: And there’s those powerful strikes from Damien Black. That’s one advantage Black has is that very unorthodox MMA/powerhouse hybrid style of his.

Jimmy Yates: Getting hit like that is gonna make anyone reconsider their career choice of professional wrestling.

Bryan Harris: No, you think so there, Jimbo?

Jimmy Yates: Shove it, Bryan.

Black goes for an Irish Whip, but gets caught on the rebound by a Running Bicycle Kick from Issac. Entragian then picks Black up off of the canvas and does a Bear Hug, cinching it in for a while before Black fights out of it with some stiff MMA-style elbows to the face.

Alan Ducard: Issac’s certainly going for an interesting strategy here by going for submission moves, something you don’t see men his size attempting too often. But Black was right there, firing some stiff elbows to the temple of Issac and he couldn’t sustain too much damage there before relinquishing the hold.

Jimmy Yates: Most seven foot tall guys don’t want to leave their feet, but Issac’s a totally different breed of an animal.

Bryan Harris: Technically, he’s more like mutant beast of some sort. But as for Damien, it appears he’s going to rely on his well-rounded MMA- -style striking offense while Issac is going more of the boxing route and mixing in some submissions as well.

Black then grabs Issac in a front facelock and hits five knees to the gut, bringing Entragian to a knee. Damien then goes behind Issac and hits a Hammerlock Back Suplex. Black then locks in the hammerlock behind Entragian and keeps driving the knee into the arm of Entragian from the hammerlock position.

Alan Ducard: I have to wonder why exactly is Damien Black focusing on that arm? Normally Black doesn’t focus on that part of the body.

Jimmy Yates: I have to admit, I’m puzzled by this, too. This isn’t something we usually see out of Damien Black.

Bryan Harris: Whether it’s orthodox or not, it sure as heck is working for him right now!

Black goes to pick Issac up, only to get caught with stiff punches to the gut. With Damien doubled over, Issac hits a vicious sit-out Gutwrench Powerbomb. The impact of the move causes Issac to rest on his back for a moment before going for the pin attempt.

Alan Ducard: Blimey, that could probably be felt all the way in Milwaukee!

Jimmy Yates: Issac now with the cover.

One...

Two...

Thre...

Bryan Harris: The “Ivory Terror” was so close to putting him away there! Had it not been for that bit of hesitation, he just might have put Black away there.

Entragian then does his version of the Garvin Stomp. He starts by stomping the mid-section of black, then his thigh, his ankle, then works around to the other side of the body before stomping him hard on the head. Issac then picks him up into a Torture Rack as he starts wrenching Damien’s back for several moments as Black is fighting not to tap.

Alan Ducard: Again, Issac using a submission move here on Black. One has to wonder if he plans on getting a submission win here?

Jimmy Yates: The man is just wanting to inflict pain on Damien Black. He’s sick. He gets off on the suffering of others.

Bryan Harris: Well, if he keeps this locked in, Black might not have any choice but to tap.

Just then, Black dead-weights Entragian, who drops him to the mat. Black falls to a knee as Issac goes for the Wings of War, only for it to be caught in a mid-air double leg-takedown and get pummelled by several mounted punches from Black.

Alan Ducard: And Damien Black gets right back in the thick of this with a take-down out of nowhere!

Jimmy Yates: This has got to be frustrating Issac severely that he can’t seem to put away Damien Black.

Bryan Harris: I didn’t think Damien had anything left in the tank after that torture rack there, but I was wrong!

Black then does a Judo Hip Throw, transitioning it into a submission hold where he locks in the arm and wreches the opponent’s chin all the way to their chest, better known as a Can-Opener. Issac struggles mightily in the move for several moments before biting Black’s arm, drawing the first bit of blood in the match as referee Don Bower yells at Entragian, who’s smiling with the blood staining his teeth.

Alan Ducard: The only way I can even sum that move up is desperate times call for desperate measures because Issac was in danger of losing his belt in that move, had he not bitten Damien.

Jimmy Yates: Well, we knew blood-shed was a formality in this match. I’m just amazed it took this long to see any!

Bryan Harris: Yeah, I have to admit that threw me for a loop, too.

Black holds his arm in pain as Issac clotheslines him over the top rope. Issac then runs Black shoulder first into the steel steps, knocking the top half of the steps off on impact. He then tombstones Black on the steel steps as Don Bower struggles to get in position to make the count.

Alan Ducard: Good gracious, that could have paralyzed Damien right there. This could be over...

One...

Two...

Three...

Jimmy Yates: No! Black somehow gets out of there!

Bryan Harris: Come on, Bower... do your job!

In frustration, Issac grabs "The Slayer" and drills Black in the arms with it, drawing more blood on Black's arms. Entragian then removes the protective padding from the outside of the ring and sends Black back in the ring. After Black slowly struggles to his feet, he's caught with a Suplex taking him from the inside of the ring onto the exposed concrete below as Issac tries to catch his breath.

Alan Ducard: By jove, what a devastating suplex to the outside! I’m not sure Black can take too much more damage like this!

Jimmy Yates: I wouldn’t be surprised if Black’s kidneys popped like a water balloon on that impact!

Bryan Harris: Issac’s got Damien right where he wants him and this thing is about to be over.

Entragian then tries to pick Black up, but gets raked in the eyes and Black goes back on the offensive. Black then grabs a steel chair and cracks Entragian twice over the head with it, busting him open. He then takes the chair and folds it over Issac's throat and hits that chair with another chair. Issac starts to cough up some blood and Black then drags Issac up and hits some forearm shots before ripping out a guard rail and suspending it between the ring apron and an adjacent guard rail. As Damien turns his attention back to Issac, he's caught with a low blow with Issac's good arm.

Alan Ducard: Just when it seems like Damien Black is going to be able to get some offense in this match, Issac takes the feral dog approach and uses an under-handed tactic to keep the ball in his court.

Jimmy Yates: Issac’s got to be wondering just what is it going to take for Black to finally give up the ghost.

Bryan Harris: Boys, Issac’s not worried in the least bit. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

Issac tosses Damien back in the ring and clocks him with a steel chair shot to the head, putting a very noticeable crack in Black's mask. Issac then goes under the ring and starts beating the back and torso of Black with a two by four wrapped in barbed wire as the barbed wire gets stuck in Black's skin from time to time.

Alan Ducard: Goodness gracious, this is certainly graphic!

Jimmy Yates: I think I’m gonna throw up...

Bryan Harris: Being a bit squeamish there, aren’t we, boys?

Black struggles to his feet as Entragian goes for a spear attempt, but is backdropped onto the suspended guard rail, denting it in as Issac lands on it. As Issac tries to get up, one end of the guard rail slides off the ring apron while Black goes to the opposite end of the ring to find his steel chain. As the guard rail is now elevated only at one end, by another guard rail, Issac slowly crawls back to his feet, with his back turned to Black, who runs up from behind and wraps the steel chain around the chest of Issac and delivers The Serial Driller onto the guard rail off the apron, bending it badly on impact as both men are down for a moment as the fans chant “HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT!”

Alan Ducard: These fans are certainly taking the words out of my mouth.

Jimmy Yates: I have to wonder how much damage Damien did to himself there?

Bryan Harris: This just further proves why Damien Black will NEVER be championship material. Stupid stunts like that!

Issac somehow gets to his feet first, despite now coughing up more blood with a steady stream of blood running out of his mouth. Issac then heads to the timekeeper’s table and grabs the ring bell and clocks Black in the face with it, cracking his mask further. Entragian then drags Black back in the ring and goes for a second rope splash, only for Damien to get his knees up and a big strand of blood to come flying out of Issac's mouth as the camera pans to Liz on the outside, looking very concerned at this point.

Alan Ducard: The look on Elizabeth Gaunt’s face certainly says it all right now.

Jimmy Yates: I have to wonder how she’s gonna feel about the No Limits potentially slipping away here?

Bryan Harris: Don’t get ahead of yourself there, Jimbo... he’s gonna choke again. I’m calling it right now!

Black then rises to his feet and grabs Issac by the hair, head-butting the ever-loving shit out of him until his mask breaks and we see Damien has busted himself open in the process. Albeit very woozily from all the damage he's taken, Black then rises to his feet and grabs his steel chain and goes under the ring with a roll of duct tape as he wraps the chain around his knee and tapes it in place before hitting Issac with a vicious Busaiku Knee Kick that sends blood flying everywhere as Black's screaming at Issac.

Damien Black: GET UP, YOU ALBINO MOTHER-FUCKER!!! GET. THE. FUCK. UP!

Black then grabs Issac in a front facelock and hits Issac with seven consecutive chain-assisted knees to the face as Issac, crumples down in a bloody heap.

Alan Ducard: This certainly isn’t looking good for the No Limits Champion! Black’s got him right where he wants him.

Jimmy Yates: Could tonight be the very night Black breaks that championship drought?

Bryan Harris: You watch, he’s gonna choke, I can feel it!

Black then slowly limps up top, feeling the damage from his own knee wrapped in the chain and has to catch his breath from his own blood loss as he gets up top. Seeing this opportunity, Issac grabs Damien on the second turnbuckle and hits a Super Disembowler that takes seemingly all the energy both men have as they both stay down for a solid minute.

Bryan Harris: I told you boys he’d choke! It’s all over but the crying now!

Jimmy Yates: Well, Bryan, Issac’s not got up yet either, so my question is did that desperation Super Disembowler take everything Issac had out of him?

Alan Ducard: Both men are still down and now, it’s anybody’s ball-game.

Issac sees Damien down and slowly crawls toward him with a smile on his face, going for a very non-chalant pin when out of nowhere, Damien locks in "The Black Plague" (Undertaker's Triangle Choke variation).

Alan Ducard: WAIT A MINUTE, HOW DID BLACK DO THAT???

Jimmy Yates: I don’t know, but this might be his last-ditch effort to keep from losing this match!

Bryan Harris: Come on, champ... don’t lose the belt like this! Not like this!

First, Issac furiously starts to fight the move by dropping Damien on his neck much like an MMA person locked in the move would do, but Damien doesn't let go. Issac then drags Damien to the turnbuckles and tries to swing him into them. Black still doesn't let go.

Alan Ducard: Damien Black is simply not human! How can that man be hanging on to that submission hold like that?

Jimmy Yates: I’ve never seen anything like this before! Issac just made one minor mistake and seems to be in dire straights because of it, now that he’s been caught in what I’m being told in my ear-piece is called “The Black Plague”.

Bryan Harris: Fight it, dad-gum it, fight it champ!

Then, slowly but surely, Issac appears to give up the ghost. Don Bower goes to check Issac’s hands. He drops them a first time. The second time, he drops them.

Alan Ducard: This could all be over soon!

Bryan Harris: GET UP, ISSAC!

Bower goes to drop his arm a third time, but Issac manages to keep it up. He makes one final desperation effort to try and break the hold, but he finally taps out as the fans erupt and Referee Don Bower pries a very tired Damien Black off of him as both men are lying on the canvas.

Alan Ducard: I don’t believe it, chaps... Damien Black just snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after coming up short so many times in his career!

Jimmy Yates: This may have been the performance of Damien Black’s career! Somehow, he found a way to get the victory in a very hard-fought, physical confrontation with Issac Entragian!

Bryan Harris: Well, a blind squirrel does find a nut once in a while!

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen... here is your winner... and the NEW... NO LIMITS CHAMPION... DAMIEN... BLACK!!!!

“Titanomachy- The Beginning” by The Showdown begins to play over the P.A. system as both Damien and Issac still lie flat on their backs from the war they just went through. Then, finally, Damien gets to one knee and buries his bloody face in his hands as he pounds his fists on the canvas in jubilation. Just then, as Damien slowly starts to rise to his feet, holding his ribs and wincing in a great deal of pain, Issac just sits up. Despite the blood pouring out of his mouth, the monster actually manages to stand, gripping his ribs in extreme amounts of pain. Damien turns around and see this, actually shocked that Issac is up, and then brace himself for another round of fighting, but instead of attacking, Entragian grabs the No Limits Title from the ref’s hands. He moves towards Damien and the announcers and crowd could be thinking he’s about to bash Damien in the head with the belt, but what Issac actually does is thrust the championship into Damien’s hands. Issac could mouth the words “It’s yours now.” Before limping out of the ring, bloodied and broken, but with his pride intact.

Alan Ducard: By jove, what a bizarre display of sportsmanship of sorts from Issac Entragian...

Jimmy Yates: This truly is a sign the new “Black Era” is upon us.

Bryan Harris: God help us all...

The camera pans through the backstage area, giving us shots of the typical scenery - equipment carts, racks of chairs, glimpses of tech guys carrying clipboards. Standing next to one of the equipment carts we see new scenery, though. Preston Thompkins is conversing with a new face. It's a solidly built young man with shaggy dark brown hair. His back is to the camera, and the white t-shirt he wears simply says "Hazard" on the back. The camera moves in close enough to pick up the conversation.

Preston Thompkins: "....for going on fifty years now, kid, and you're as tough as anybody I've seen."

Hazard - "Yeah, old timer, I've been through my share of wars. You say tough, others say stubborn or dumb. Either way, I've got the scars to prove it."

Thompkins: "You sure do. The ones on your forearms there, I'm assuming you got those against Payne mostly, with that glass and wire contraption you had rigged up. The one peeking out from the collar of your shirt has faded mostly, but I'm thinking that's from the fire incident with Tennant...and if you took that shirt off, that back's probably crisscrossed with lines from what you went through with Jean."

Hazard - "You know your history, don't you? I wasn't aware that I'd be coming in here with a reputation."

Thompkins: "Son, I've been around this business a long time. My loyalty is with my employer, but I've watched just about every imaginable piece of talent that's come through this country in the last half century. Yeah, you've got a little bit of reputation, but I'm guessing you're here as much to prove that reputation wrong as anything, aren't you?"

Hazard laughs as much to himself as to the old man, and we see him reach out and pat Thompkins on the jaw condescendingly before turning towards the camera - but not acknowledging it. The front of his shirt says "one man riot", and as he passes, Hazard simply mutters "Hide and watch, old timer. Hide and watch."

The Original War

Saliva’s “Hunt You Down” begins to play as we seen an arena marquee, and in the bright lights advertising the event spell out: ELEVENTH HOUR: “THE TRUE REVOLTIONARY” MARCUS MARION VS. “THE OUTLAW” GREYSON BLADE, I QUIT MATCH, TONIGHT!

I am the master of this game
And everybody knows my name

There are video clips of Marcus Marion and Greyson Blade both hoisting up the LEGACY World Title.

And I will gladly make you see
That you should not have messed with me

Marcus Marion taps his reserves of strength to hoist up a bloodied Outlaw and drive him down with “The Revolutionary Thrill” piledriver on a steel chair. This is followed by The Outlaw hitting a devastating Killshot on Marion from the top rope.

But you have thrown the gauntlet down
Only ? one who wears the crown

Marcus drives the LEGACY World Title into Blade’s skull, which costs Blade what is now The No Limits Title, and The Outlaw slams a sledgehammer into Marion’s ribs, and then as he drops to the canvas, slams the hammer down into his chest.

So I will gladly hunt you down
And I'm gonna stomp you into the ground

The Outlaw attempts to attack Marcus Marion in the parking lot after Marion cost him the gold, only for Marion to instinctively dive out of the way, and in so doing pushes off of Susan Rhodes, tossing her into the path of the oncoming Outlaw. Blade’s shoulder hits Susan with a vicious crack, smashing her over the hood of a low-riding vehicle and into the windshield with a sickening exploding pop.

And you know it's true
I'm just better than you

Marcus Marion cheers on Nicolas Creed as he spills Blade’s blood post match using the ring post, and then Jake Blaine attacks Greyson with brass knuckles, leaving Marion to complete his plan by standing over Blade and taunting him on the mic.

See the fear that's in your eyes
I'll make you realize

The Outlaw and Marion stand toe to toe before the bell rings, the anticipation building.

Well oh yeah, here we go again
Looks like we're on the floor again

Blade and Marion trade punches, followed by Marion hitting multiple low blows on Greyson, which is then followed by Blade unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks on Marion in the corner.

Hell yeah, here we go again
Cause I can't get away

Blade powerbombs Marion into a steel cage.

Marion traps Blade’s arm in the cage, and then hyperextends it with an excruciatingly painful armbar.

I'll fight forever
I won't surrender

The Outlaw fights like an animal in his Brick by Brick No DQ match with Marion, fighting off Jake Blaine’s interfering chairshots, Nicole’s breaking up off multiple pins, and completely battered, kicks out of Marion’s piledriver, much to Marion’s chagrin before finally passing out in a submission hold.

And I will always
Hunt you down

Marion steps inside the ring during the Blade, CB, Domination match with The Diabolik, and reveals himself as their partner by driving a steel chair multiple times into The Outlaw’s skull.

I'll fight forever
I won't surrender

Video footage from Strife 47 is shown as The Outlaw accepts The I Quit Match with Marion.

And I will always
Hunt you down

The Killshot happens again. There was no way for him to stop – even if he had so desired.

290 pounds of rage and muscle meet 123 pounds of blonde beauty, immediately stopping her screams in her throat.

The impact sends Nicole up into the air a bit away from The Outlaw, juggling her into the air such that as he descends from the strike, he hits her a second time and drives her violently into the canvas with his shoulder using his full weight to do so. Only the two of them could hear the wet snap, as the entire LEGACY crowd gasps at the force of the impact.

Alan Ducard: OH … MY … GOD.

Marion walks with Nicole and Susan Rhodes to the ring wearing The LEGACY World Title around his waist.

The Original War

"I Quit" Match
Greyson Blade vs Marcus Marion

Finally.

The time has come to settle the “Original War”.

This conflict existed even before LEGACY’s existence - it was there at its birth, and it has lasted its entire nearly three year existence. Marcus Marion and Greyson Blade – mortal enemies will collide one last time, tonight, here at Eleventh Hour to see the war through to its bitter, violent conclusion where in the midst of the battle one man will signal his surrender by uttering those two simple words: “I Quit”.

Just as these two warriors have waited for this moment, so too have the loyal LEGACY fans – and now the fans who have sold-out the United Center in anticipation of this match are now almost in a frenzy as Josephina Colbert stands in the middle of the ring, ready to introduce the combatants. Normally she’d get a few catcalls or other expressions on her looks, but not tonight as all eyes are now glued to the top of the entranceway.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is an “I Quit” match, where the only way to win is to force your opponent to give verbal confirmation of his surrender by saying “I Quit”. Introducing first, special guest for the match, the lovely Susan Rhodes!

Normally, Bryan Harris would jump in her with a snide comment about her appearance at ringside, but he remains silent, along with the rest of the announce team, taking every detail of the remaining moments before this match. The crowd cheers as Susan steps out into the electric environment dressed in a black flowing gown with high heels, and her red locks seem even more striking against her black dress. Susan seems to be enjoying the moment, moving slowly down the entrance, and waves to a few fans near the entrance way with a sign reading “COVER GIRL” and the accompanying image accentuating her change in appearance from a mannequin-esque blonde to her natural personality and red-haired look.

Upon reaching the ring, Susan decides not to enter, and immediately walks out the apron, and slips down to the floor, taking a seat at ringside near the timekeeper’s table. As she sits, her nervousness is obvious as she awaits the grudge match between her ex and his nemesis. Josephina nods and smiles at Susan before turning her attention back to introducing the fighters.

Josephina Colbert: Now introducing the first fighter, a former LEGACY World Champion, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia - this is “The True Revolutionary” Marcus Marion!

The fans do not even wait for the theme to begin to express their loathing of the man about to appear before them. That legendary chant of “DIE MARION DIE” booms through the United Center as a bright white light appears at the entrance way with the opening chords of GNR’s “My Michelle”.

Your daddy works in porno
Now that mommy's not around
She used to love her heroin
But now she's underground
So you stay out late at night
And you do your coke for free
Drivin' your friends crazy
With your life's insanity

The crowd is on their feet mesmerized as the man who is the very definition of arrogance, the epitome of self-importance, appears before them. However, instead of being in awe of his greatness, they are focused on unleashing their disgust – a disgust shared by Susan as she listens to the lyrics of the music Marion has chosen on his return to LEGACY. The man known as “The Blonde” or “The True Revolutionary” makes his way towards the ring as slowly as possible, basking in this moment – his return to LEGACY Pay-Per-View. This was a great moment, and these people should be honored at this extended trip down the elevated walkway above the fans at ringside, which is exactly where he feels he belongs. However, some of the fans try to reach up to grab hold of Marion, and he smirks at them as security manages to hold them back. As he enters the ring, he gives a little wink to Josephina who takes a few steps back from the perfectly styled slime. Marion then removes his shirt, throwing it to the outside right in front of Susan.

Susan sneers at him, and she tramples the shirt with her heel as Marion blows her a kiss and his music fades away. The music was only serving muffle the chants aimed at Marion, and without the music, Marcus experiences the crowd’s unadulterated expression of hatred. However, that is to be short lived because in the middle of this raucous reception, Josephina interjects on the microphone to complete her introductions.

Josephina Colbert: Now introducing his opponent, he is a former LEGACY World Champion, hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee - this is “The Outlaw” Greyson Blade!

With that introduction it was if a switch was flipped, and this crowd that was at once so filled with hate now explodes with cheers expressing its complete adoration and utmost respect – equal and yet entirely opposite to the loathing of The Blonde. As Marcus Marion is the “Original Villain” for the LEGACY faithful The Outlaw is the “Original Hero” – and the hero has arrived. “Outlaw Torn” by Metallica booms through the arena, as The Outlaw appears at the entrance his eyes immediately locking on his adversary.

And now I wait my whole lifetime for you
And now I wait my whole lifetime for you
I ride the dirt, I ride the tide for you
I search the outside, search inside for you

To take back what you left me
I know I'll always burn to be
The one who seeks so I may find
And now I wait my whole lifetime

Outlaw of torn
Outlaw of torn
And I'm torn

The Outlaw has waited for this moment ever since Marcus Marion screwed him out of the LEGACY World Title, and now he walked to the ring with a vengeful purpose in his step – each one taken hastily towards that rapidly approaching violent. Amidst the roar of the crowd, The Outlaw steps through the ropes, and straight to the middle of the ring. There would be no extracurricular activities tonight, no pandering to the fans – he is focused on one thing: unleashing years of pent up hatred and rage in the most violent but efficient manner possible. Josephina steps out of the ring hastily as the music stops. Marion, ever confident, struts to the middle of the ring to meet Blade, and as the two men stand face to face in the middle of the ring as surreal cooperative chant rises up from the crowd – “LET’S GO BLADE!” is immediately followed by “DIE MARION DIE!” Travis Rollins steps to the middle of the ring giving last minute instructions to both men, showing them the wireless microphone he’s been given for that one man to announce to the world that he does indeed quit.

Jimmy Yates: Unbelievable … this arena is absolutely electric!

Bryan Harris: It’s because Marcus Marion has returned to LEGACY Pay-Per-View!

Jimmy Yates: That explains the hatred Bryan, but The Outlaw is loved just as much as Marion is despised. Those intense and opposite feelings are giving us this amazing crowd experience here tonight in Chicago.

Alan Ducard: Travis Rollins has finished his pre-match instructions and now Marion is extending his left hand to The Outlaw.

Jimmy Yates: What a show of contempt and utter disrespect, but would we expect anything less from this man?

The crowd jeers as Marion keeps the hand extended. Blade doesn’t respond to this gesture in the slightest, save for his gaze narrowing and his fists clenching even tighter. Finally, after getting no response from The Outlaw, Marion turns his left hand up to give Blade a quick middle finger, getting even more hatred from the crowd, and he quickly jerks his hand back running it through his blonde locks. However, just as he finishes, Travis Rolling signals for the bell and The Outlaw’s right hand lashes out and strikes Marion in the side of the jaw beating Marion to the punch and knocking him backwards.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw opens up with a huge right hand to the jaw, and he connects with a jab with the left that has Marion staggered. Blade now unleashes with a devastating uppercut, knocking Marion back into the ropes. The Outlaw with a knee to the gut on the ropes, doubling The Blonde over, and Greyson drives him into the canvas with a double axe handle blow. The Outlaw now off the ropes and he delivers the elbow down on Marion’s spine and ribs, and now he’s back up and off the ropes for a second elbow drop. The Outlaw is back to a standing position and there’s a third elbow drop. Marion looks to be in a bad way in this early going as he clutches at his back and ribs, right were The Outlaw was targeting.

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw was quick on the draw from the opening bell and he’s been moving at full speed ever since that point, not giving The True Revolutionary any breathing room.

Bryan Harris: He can’t afford to give Marion any breathing room Jimbo – if he did Marion would turn the tables on him faster than Blade could say “I Quit”.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw pulls Marion to his feet, scooping him up only to slam him down with a body slam. Marion bounces a little on impact, and he’s rolling back up to his feet, but The Outlaw is there to meet him with a vicious kick to the face. Blade is unrelenting in the opening moments of this match, and now he brings Marion back to a vertical position and sends him off with the Irish whip. Marion off on the rebound now goes up and over with the big back body drop!

Marion rolls a bit on impact, and presses up to his knees, but before he can gain his bearings, The Outlaw grabs him by his hair, and ripping him up, tosses him half way across the ring towards the corner! The crowd cheers as Marion lands hard and The Outlaw is fired up to put a beating on him in the corner. However, as he approaches, Marion gets to his knees, and throws up his hands “begging off” for everyone to hear …

“Please … PLEASE!”

Jimmy Yates: What a coward! Marion is begging off here, begging Greyson not to simply beat him senseless in the corner.

Bryan Harris: Come on now Jimbo, this is a wrestling match here, and Greyson just tossed him by his hair!

Alan Ducard: This is an “I Quit” match Bryan, so technically this is No Count Out/No Disqualification situation, although I don’t think you’ll see quite the use of weapons and head shots you’d see in a No Limits contest as you’d run the risk of knocking your opponent out, and we know for sure that each man wants that spoken “I Quit” from the other.

Marion continues to beg off, but Blade will have none of it, grabbing Marion by the hair and tossing him into the corner, and the beating begins. Greyson fires away with a flurry of punches, three to the head to stagger Marion, but then he goes to town with multiple body shots to the ribs before lowering his shoulder and driving it again and again into Marion’s midsection. After three, the crowd begins to count with each shot.

FOUR!! FIVE!! SIX!! SEVEN!! EIGHT!! NINE!! TEN!!

With that The Outlaw backs off and allows Marion to “flop” out of the corner and down to the canvas. The Outlaw grabs Marion by the arm, and drags him from the corner more to the center of the ring, and he comes off the ropes, and drops a knee into Marion’s head to stun him before looking to the turnbuckles.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw looks to be heading to the turnbuckles, and yes he is climbing them right here.

Bryan Harris: Why in the world would he be going to the top rope now? He has Marion on the run, why give him this kind of opening?

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw isn’t a high flyer at 285-290 pounds, but he does have that big elbow drop from the top rope or even the ceiling of a cell as we saw at Glimmer of Hope in his match against Issac Entragian – that’s a hec of an impact with all of that weight right down into Marion’s chest or ribs.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw has Marion sized up for that elbow and he leaps and … NO! Marion gets the foot up and he kicks Blade in the face on the way down! The Outlaw’s head snaps back from the shot and he looks dazed.

Bryan Harris: What did I tell you guys, he should have stayed grounded – now Marion has the opening he needs to start dissecting The Outlaw.

The crowd jeers as Marion, still clutching his ribs slightly, moves towards Greyson. Blade rolls up to a seated position to try and shake out the cobwebs, but Marion gets some momentum behind him and flips over Blade, grabbing the head on the way down and delivering the rolling neck snap. The move does indeed damage The Outlaw’s neck, and Blade instinctively reaches up to the targeted area, allowing himself vulnerable for Marion’s true target as Marcus grabs Greyson’s right leg and begins kicking away.

Alan Ducard: Marcus Marion going to work on The Outlaw’s legs now with all of those stiff kicks, and now he has the leg on the canvas, and there’s a stomp to the knee, and now a stomp to the ankle. Marion’s going back and forth from knee to ankle looking to injure that right leg.

Bryan Harris: This is brilliant strategy by Marion. Not only can he wear down that body part in an attempt to get Blade to say “I Quit” by he can try and take away the power they generate in Blade’s bigger moves, including the Killshot.

Jimmy Yates: It’s a great strategy sure, but let’s not forget that Blade was really going to work on Marion’s back and ribs. He’s not exactly damage free himself.

Marion continues to stomp away on the leg, and then pulls Blade to the ropes where he pulls the leg up on the rope and leaps up and brings his weight down on the knee, driving it in the opposite direction of what it’s meant to go. This particularly vicious blow causes Blade to clutch at his leg in agony, and Marion looks out to Susan with a smirk before strutting back to The Outlaw who has unfortunately rolled closer to the center of the ring. The strut brings the crowd back to life as the “DIE MARION DIE!” chants begin again in earnest as Marion comes off the ropes and drops the elbow into Blade’s unprotected head.

Alan Ducard: Marcus Marion has really gone to work on the leg here, and with the elbow drop Blade is stunned, and now Marion goes to the legs, and he’s got The Outlaw hooked and he’s going for it and yes he has it locked on … THE FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!

Jimmy Yates: With the assault on the legs Marion that figure four leglock has to be doing some really great damage to that leg – The Outlaw has to get out of this move as soon as possible.

Bryan Harris: If he can get out – he’s in the center of the ring there Jimbo. Look at him, so far from the ropes, and even then, it’s not like Marion will be disqualified if he doesn’t release after the officials count – granted Rollins may not agreed to check for Blade quitting in what he deems an “illegal hold” but Marion wouldn’t have to let go.

Marion looks across at The Outlaw, smiling at Greyson’s pain. Marion is many horrific things, but he is still an exceptionally skilled wrestler, and he has the figure four locked on Greyson perfectly. The Outlaw claws the canvas in agony as he tries to somehow block out the pain, his leg being destroyed with each passing moment. As Blade falls back on the canvas into a normal pinning predicament, Marion tells Rollins to “ask him”. Rollins approaches Blade with the microphone as Greyson leans up once more. Rollins leans down …

Alan Ducard: The referee is asking Greyson if he quits …

Bryan Harris: I could make the pain all go away Blade …

Jimmy Yates: Greyson isn’t going to give up here – no way is he giving up.

Bryan Harris: You’re so blindly hopeful – Jimbo I bet you would have said “I Quit” before Marion had that hold cinched on you.

The Outlaw looks at Rollins, and then over at Marion’s broad evil grin, but in the background he can hear the roar of “LET’S GO BLADE!” over and over again, and with a look of pure rage, he slams his hand into the canvas and begins to push as Marion’s eyes go wide as he realizes what The Outlaw is trying to do. Marion uses what strength he has to move his body to try and prevent what’s coming, but in this moment there is no stopping The Outlaw as he turns the move over, inverting the pressure on to Marion.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw reverses the figure four and Marion gets a small dose of his own medicine before he releases to find a new tactic. Marion is now getting to his feet as Blade tries to push up on that good left leg. Marion charging in now and he dives at The Outlaw with a chop block to take out Blade’s good leg!

Bryan Harris: Marion is one of the best I have ever seen at taking advantage of an opening, and now that Blade almost has one flat tire, Marcus is looking to give him two.

Jimmy Yates: Well, The Outlaw managed to escape that first submission hold, so I wouldn’t put it past him to find some way to tap into his legendary reserves to find a way to take back control of this match.

Marion is off the canvas far before The Outlaw, but Blade somehow manages to get up to a knee before Marcus goes on the attack again. Marion comes off the ropes and delivers a kick to the side of Blade’s leg to knock him back down to one knee. Marcus then drives an elbow into Greyson’s forehead, and leaves him stunned in the middle of the ring. Marion heads for the buckles.

Alan Ducard: Now it’s Marcus Marion’s turn to scale the buckles for a high-risk attack.

Bryan Harris: And even though I think the utmost of Marcus Marion just like for The Outlaw I think this is a huge mistake. You have your opponent on the ropes and all the momentum – why risk giving that away?

Jimmy Yates: Marion is sizing up The Outlaw, and Blade is slowly pushing back up to his feet his back towards The Blonde – come on Blade don’t walk right into it!

Marion, believing he has The Outlaw right where he wants him leaps off the top rope at Blade, looking to deliver a double axe handle smash. However, as he goes to strike, The Outlaw side steps the shot, and immediately hooks Marion and a HUGE cheer rises up from the fans in attendance as The Outlaw heaves Marion up and slams him down a massive Rock Bottom version of a side slam!

Alan Ducard: Marion was attempting a double axe handle and The Outlaw just transitioned the miss into that huge slam, driving Marion right down into the canvas, and now both men are down!

Jimmy Yates: The True Revolutionary was just flattened by The Outlaw on that slam, so Blade still has to be down due to all of the abuse that right leg has taken.

Bryan Harris: See, that’s why Marion is going to win this match – even when Blade manages to turn the tide, he really can’t capitalize the way he would need to put Marion away.

Greyson slowly pushes up to his feet, using the ropes to finally bring him completely back to a vertical base, and he kicks out his right leg, attempting to keep it from cramping up, and he goes after Marion. The Outlaw pulls Marion to his feet and rocks him with a big right hand, and then he kicks him in the midsection, steps inside Marcus, and takes him up and over with an Olympic Slam!

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw with the Olympic Slam, which is really not a move we’ve seen him use much in his career.

Bryan Harris: I’m surprised he could pulls off a move with that degree of difficulty Ducard.

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw prefers to brawl, but he’s most assuredly well-trained over the course of his career that yes he can if needed wrestle a more technically-oriented match. It looks like he want to that kind of slam since he’s still favoring that right leg, and he was actually able to drive and lift up Marion in that move using only the left leg.

Alan Ducard: A very astute observation there Jimmy, and that move still appears to have done the job, working over that back and stunning Marion in the process. The Outlaw bringing Marion to his feet and there’s the Irish whip from The Outlaw, and Marion comes back on the return with Blade catching him in a Shades of Grey spinebuster! The Outlaw now turning The True Revolutionary over and … he’s locking on a Boston Crab!

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw has Marion in that painful submission hold, really compressing the vertebrae as Greyson tries to bend Marion in half – and this crowd wants to see it as we get more of that “DIE MARION DIE” chant here from this capacity crowd.

Bryan Harris: Marion will not die, and he will not go quietly here in this match. Marion is tougher than anyone here would ever give credit – this man has been through hell and survived, and he will NOT give up here tonight.

The Outlaw wrenches back on Marion, applying the Boston crab even tighter as Marion claws at the canvas in agony. The chants grow louder, burning Marion’s ears as he screams out in pain. Greyson motions for Rollins to check him, and the official gets down and shoves the microphone in The Blonde’s face as Greyson battles with Marion who is trying to pulls his weight and Greyson’s to the ropes. Marion pulls and slowly and painfully progress is made. Yet, just a few short inches away from the ropes, Marcus stalls – and Rollins asks him again if he wants to give up.

Alan Ducard: Marion is now in the same position The Outlaw was in earlier in this contest, and now that he’s stalled just a few short inches away from the ropes Rollins is pressing for answer. This crowd is on their feet, screaming for Marion to quit, and even Susan Rhodes is standing on the outside cheering on The Outlaw who is her “agent of destruction” here tonight.

Jimmy Yates: Marion is in sheer agony, Alan, and I just don’t see how he can take much more of this hold. I know he’s just a few inches from the ropes, but he’s giving a good hard look at that microphone and … NO! He pushes the microphone away, and he stretches out and he grabs the bottom rope.

Bryan Harris: I told you he wouldn’t give up here - and now that he has that bottom rope, Blade is going to break that hold being the honorable idiot that he is.

Jimmy Yates: Yes he will break it – even if he did have Marion trapped it’s as discussed earlier; Rollins isn’t going to ask for a submission in what he would deem an “illegal hold”.

The Outlaw after working the count releases the hold, and Marion stays clutching the ropes even as Blade releases the hold. The Outlaw walks a few steps away for a moment, testing out that leg which is still in a lot of pain, but it appears that he can walk a bit better on it as he then turns his attention back to The Blonde.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw now pulling Marcus Marion to his feet, and he hooks him from behind and takes him up and down with the belly to back suplex, and that has Marion positioned near the buckles. The Outlaw is headed to the opposite side of the ring from Marion, and the fans are starting to get up to their feet because it looks like Blade is sizing up Marion for the Killshot.

Jimmy Yates: The Killshot was the Finisher of the Year for 2008, and The Outlaw I’m is looking to make it the Finisher of the Year for 2009, and it would be off to a great start if he used it to put Marion down in this contest.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw is stalking Marion now, just waiting for him to turn as he’s back first to The Outlaw clutching his back, and Blade charges …. NO! Marion moves out of the way and hits a drop toe hold on Blade! The Outlaw goes back to the canvas, and Marion gets a much needed recuperative moment.

Marion pulls Greyson up to his feet and into the corner, and proceeds to drive the elbow into Blade’s face. Then he delivers a stinging chop to The Outlaw’s chest. The sound of the impact would have echoed through the arena was it not for the chorus of boos greeting Marion’s offense. So hated is Marion that even after delivering a second, third, and fourth chop there are no obligatory Flair “Wooooooooooo” exclamations. Marion now kicks The Outlaw in the leg once, twice, and then pulling Greyson from the corner hooks him and turns, dropping down with a “Rude Awakening” –style neckbreaker.

Alan Ducard: Marion remembers the old injuries Blade has suffered in this feud, and while that neck has healed, Marion will go back to targeting that neck with no hesitation. He’s worked the legs to cut The Outlaw’s power, and now he’s looking to damage that neck.

Bryan Harris: Just wait until he’s able to hit that Revolutionary Thrill Piledriver – talk about damage to the neck.

Marion pulls Greyson up after the neckbreaker, and he goes for the Irish whip, but somehow The Outlaw pulls together his strength and reverses the whip and sends Marion off to the buckles with a HARD Irish whip of his own that sends Marion up and out over the buckles! Marion lands on the ring apron, but Blade meets him with a brutal lariat that sends Marion off the apron and down crashing into the barricade as the fans cheer this change in momentum.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw sends Marion to the outside and down to the arena floor, and Marion really hit that barricade hard, and he’s still down on the outside clutching his back, and now the other hand is out on those ribs.

Jimmy Yates: Marcus hit almost sideways and those ribs really did take a shot there – and now Greyson is headed to the outside after Marion.

Bryan Harris: Leave it to Greyson to turn this WRESTLING match into a BRAWL.

Jimmy Yates: It’s an “I Quit” match Bryan, and Blade is going to do whatever it takes to make Marcus Marion say those two magical words.

The Outlaw pulls Marion up from the floor, and he immediately sends him spine first into the apron. Marcus goes rigid after the impact, and almost falls to the floor but before he falls, Greyson catches him. Blade hoists Marion up as if he was going to deliver a spinebuster, but instead of slamming him down, The Outlaw takes Marion to the ringpost and drives him spine first into that unforgiving steel. The Outlaw backs up and charges and drives Marion in a second time! The crowd wants one more. The Outlaw wants one more, and The Outlaw takes the opportunity to charge and drive Marion into the post for a third time, before taking a step and delivering an inverted atomic drop that puts Marcus right back down on the arena floor.

Alan Ducard: Just as Marcus Marion was working over the legs in the early going, Blade is focused on paralyzing The Blonde, using the ringside environment to destroy Marion’s spine. The Outlaw now following up that inverted atomic drop by dropping Marion crotch first over that barricade!

Jimmy Yates: That has to hurt! Marion is wincing in pain as Blade now heads up to that entrance rampway … what’s Blade going to do here?

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw has Marion measured up from that elevated rampway and the fans in that first row have scattered for … INCOMING! THE OUTLAW SHOULDER BLOCKS MARION OFF THE BARRICADE AND INTO THE CROWD!

Both men crash into the first row of chairs with Blade landing on top of Marion in the midst of the crowd. With Blade on top of Marion he begins raining down haymaker after haymaker into Marion’s face as Marcus tries to cover up. Finally, Blade pushes up, and he grabs Marcus and slams him face first off the barricade.

Alan Ducard: Marcus Marion is reeling here as The Outlaw continues this outside the ring assault. Marion has made quite the acquaintance of the ringposts and this barricade, and now The Outlaw is pulling Marion back into the aisle where there is no padding, no protection, and he looks as if he’s going to suplex Marion here on the concrete! The Outlaw has Marion hooked, but Marion blocks! The Outlaw tries again and Marion blocks! Marion reverses and delivers the vertical suplex to The Outlaw out on the concrete!

Bryan Harris: That was a HUGE move from Marion to halt The Outlaw’s assault.

Jimmy Yates: It did halt the assault, but Marion hasn’t made it much further than back to his knees – I think the power he had to use with that suplex took something from his back and ribs.

The crowd’s cooperative chant begins again with the “LET’S GO BLADE/DIE MARION DIE!” components booming through the arena as Marion almost looks nervous being in the proximity of those who hate him so greatly, that is until LEGACY security scurries over to the battle to keep the fans a safe distance away from the action as Marion moves in on Blade as he tries to stand, and lifts him up only to deliver a knee breaker, which has Greyson rolling around on the floor clutching the right leg again. Marion’s hand goes instinctively to his back after the hold, and instead of picking Greyson up, he allows Blade to get back to his feet on his own, only for Marion to quickly hook him and DDT him right on the concrete!

Alan Ducard: DDT ON THE CONCRETE! MARION JUST JAMMED BLADE’S HEAD AND NECK INTO THE ARENA FLOOR! THE OUTLAW IS DOWN AND … HE’S BLEEDING.

Bryan Harris: Ah Blade is going to be wearing the crimson mask soon enough, and soon enough Marcus Marion will make him say “I Quit” for the sake of his career. He’s bleeding, his leg is torn to shreds, and now Marion is looking to destroy his neck again. If he doesn’t quit soon there will be nothing left of him.

Jimmy Yates: You accuse all of us of underestimating Marcus Marion, Bryan, but you continually do the same to Greyson Blade – don’t count him out here yet at all.

The Blonde pulls The Outlaw up off the concrete and delivers a stinging chop, knocking The Outlaw backwards, and then another chops staggers Blade back into some chairs, and he lands ass first on the vacated steel. Marion reaches The Outlaw and slams his fist into Blade’s forehead, coaxing more blood from the gash.

Alan Ducard: Marion is just going to town on Blade’s forehead, and he has Blade in a world of trouble. Marion pulls Greyson off the chair, and hits a spinning neckbreaker on the floor!

Bryan Harris: Marcus Marion is just taking The Outlaw apart, and I love it – I absolutely love it. There is only one LEGACY Original, and that’s The True Revolutionary!

Jimmy Yates: I hate to agree with you Bryan, but Marion is most certainly in control, and now he’s got one of the chairs! He’s measuring Blade and just waiting for him to get to his feet.

Marion stalks The Outlaw with the steel as Blade pushes up to his feet, and turns towards Marcus. Marion rears back to level The Outlaw, but at the last moment, Blade lunges out and scoops The True Revolutionary, and struggles to hit but does hit The Outlaw drop!

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw Drop! It wasn’t pretty but Blade hits it, driving Marion into the floor with all of his body weight behind it. The Outlaw, slowly getting to his feet, and he’s stalking Marion …

Jimmy Yates: The crowd is on its feet because they know exactly what’s coming … here he comes!

Bryan Harris: Marcus – look out!

The Outlaw charges and lowers his shoulder, targeting Marion’s ribs, and he delivers a devastating Killshot – perhaps with even more explosive power than even Blade had intended with the impact driving Marion backwards into the barricade. The force of the Killshot dislodges the barricade and allows both men to tumble back to the ringside area!

Alan Ducard: MY GOD WHAT A KILLSHOT! Both men just went through that barricade and now both of them are down on the floor.

The huge impact gets a “LEG-A-CY” chant from the crowd as both men lay motionless on the floor. Travis Rollins walks to the edge of the ring, carefully watching the downed fighters looking for a sign of life so he doesn’t have to even consider making a count. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, the Outlaw starts to stir, crawling to the ring apron, using it to help him get back to his feet as Marion uses the barricade to try and to the same. The Outlaw is up first, and he goes for Marion, but Marcus makes a move for Susan Rhodes, pulling her out of her seat and in front of him, using her as a shield from the oncoming Outlaw, receiving a massive “DIE MARION DIE!” chant from the crowd for his actions.

Jimmy Yates: What a coward! What a disgusting thing to do!

Bryan Harris: Marion said he would do whatever it took to win, and if necessary he will sacrifice either of the Rhodes to get the victory.

Alan Ducard: Susan is NOT happy about being put in this position, but The Outlaw will not charge her and make her collateral damage.

Susan angrily struggles against Marion’s clutches, and finally she takes her high heel and drives it down into Marion’s foot, drawing quite a response of surprise and pain, and this is the opening that Greyson needs and he charges at Marion and catches him with an elbow to the forehead!

Alan Ducard: Susan manages to escape, and The Outlaw gets in an elbow shot. Marion staggered back, and The Outlaw slams Marion’s head off of the timekeepers table. Now he has Marion by the am, and there’s an Irish whip spine first into the ring post!

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw reaching down and he has Marion by the hair and … OH NO! LOW BLOW!

Bryan Harris: Again by any means necessary Jimbo!

Alan Ducard: Marcus Marion with the low blow on The Outlaw, and Blade is down!

Marion gingerly gets to his feet, and heads over and finds one of the camerapersons at ringside, and rips the camera off of them. The Blonde returns towards The Outlaw, smashing the camera into the back of Blade’s head, knocking him face down on the arena floor. Marion then drops the camera and goes for the cord, and sizing up the Outlaw, he wraps the cord around The Outlaw’s neck and begins to viciously choke Greyson with the chord!

Alan Ducard: Marion is just choking the hell out of The Outlaw here on the arena floor, and The Outlaw is struggling against the choke, but those limbs are moving slower and slower with each struggling motion!

Jimmy Yates: He’s got to be careful here Alan, he doesn’t want Blade to be choked out completely!

Bryan Harris: No, but he definitely wouldn’t mind Blade completely beaten down that he has nothing left to withstand another submission hold.

Blade struggles begin to ceases as Marion cinches tighter and tighter. The Outlaw’s arms drop at his sides as the blood continues to trickle down his face, down on to his chest and a small pool begins on the floor. Marion senses the fight is out of The Outlaw, and he unwraps the cable. Marion then proceeds to lift Blade from his knees, and roll him back inside the ring where Travis Rollins is waiting for them.

Alan Ducard: Marion brings Blade back inside the ring, and I think he’s looking to end this one. Marion has the legs and now … HE LOCKS BLADE IN THE STF!

Bryan Harris: Now this one is going to finally be over!

Jimmy Yates: You may think so Bryan but these fans don’t think so!

The crowd begins screaming, encouraging The Outlaw as Marion keeps the right leg trapped, and he wrenches back on the neck, putting The Outlaw in an exceptionally painful position, and The Outlaw claws at the canvas, trying to find some way to get to the ropes.

Alan Ducard: Marion is instructing Travis Rollins to check The Outlaw …

Bryan Harris: The Outlaw is making noises here Ducard … I think he just gave up!

Jimmy Yates: I didn’t hear it and these people didn’t hear it Bryan, and most importantly Travis Rollins didn’t hear it either!

The Outlaw pulls himself towards the ropes leaving his crimson on the canvas, and with the microphone in his face, Greyson with an agony-filled groan reaches out and clutches the bottom rope much to Marion’s dismay. Marcus wrenches the neck even tighter as he works the five count before finally breaking the hold.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw manages the escape, but Marion is livid and he’s heading out of the ring, and he’s returning with a chair!

Jimmy Yates: This is going to be bad!

Marion takes the chair and slams it down again and again into Blade’s right leg, threatening the structural integrity of the chair. Marion takes the chair by the edge and drives it down into that knee, and finally after a barrage of shots, Marion holds up the chair victoriously, and the crowd is LIVID. Marion turns to Susan with an evil grin, and he slips the chair over Blade’s ankle, and he heads for the buckles.

Jimmy Yates: He’s going to try and snap that ankle in two! He’s going to try and break The Outlaw’s ankle!

Bryan Harris: Well that would make him quit! He would have to quit with a broken limb!

Marion climbs up the buckles, and The Outlaw watches, realizing what’s about to happen, he reaches down deep to shake the chair off of his leg. The Outlaw scrambles for it, and as Marion turns around on the buckles, The Outlaw takes the chair tosses it wildly, striking Marion in the face! The blow opens a gash in Marion’s forehead, and knocks him down on to the buckles!

Alan Ducard: What a desperation move by The Outlaw! Marion’s a sitting duck on that top rope now, and here comes The Outlaw! Blade moving up the buckles with Marion, and he has him hooked! The Outlaw pulling Marion up as he takes him up and … SUPERPLEX!

Jimmy Yates: Both men go crashing into the canvas, but Marion took the brunt of that impact off the top rope! The Outlaw is trying to roll back to his feet, and Marion is still down!

Bryan Harris: The Outlaw is back to his feet, but he’s definitely showing a limp when he walks – I don’t know how he’s blocking out the pain here.

Greyson grabs the legs, and he steps through, hooking them. Then with one smooth motion he turns Marion over and into the sharpshooter!

Alan Ducard: SHARPSHOOTER! The Outlaw has it locked in on Marion!

Jimmy Yates: Marion is in a world of absolute agony here Ducard. Just look at him thrashing about on the canvas, and The Outlaw knows this hold is working and he’s asking Rollins to check Marcus.

Bryan Harris: Come on Marion, don’t let it end like this – don’t give up to Blade – you’re so close – get to those ropes!

Marion struggles towards the ropes, using his elbow for pushing leverage, and he shakes his head as Rolling asks if he does indeed quit. The Outlaw wrenches back tighter and tighter, and Marion falls off of his elbows and down to the canvas. He looks as if he wants to submit, and he looks out to Susan who is cheering his apparent demise and with a snarl of anger, Marion gives one last lunge and grabs the bottom rope, thereby forcing the break of the hold.

Alan Ducard: Marion escapes for now as The Outlaw breaks the hold! Greyson now pulling Marion up and there’s a knee strike, and there’s the Irish whip. Marion on the rebound and he ducks a clothesline, and he catches The Outlaw with a chop to the side of the neck! Marion with a kick to the knee, and another kick to the knee! Blade is going down! Marion going for another kick, but Blade catches the foot! The Outlaw with the spin of Marion, and The Outlaw WITH THE 360 CLOTHESLINE! That move drives Marion right down into the mat.

Jimmy Yates: Blade keeps the momentum even after failing to get the win with the sharpshooter, and now The Outlaw bringing Marion back to the vertical base, scoops him over his shoulder, and there’s a powerslam from The Outlaw! He’s still managing a power game even with that injured leg.

Bryan Harris: He is Jimbo, but you never know what that knee could buckle or blow out with all of that strain.

The Outlaw grabs Marion and whips him over the top rope and out on to the elevated walkway. Marion rolls a bit on impact, and Greyson slowly makes his way through the ropes, and goes out to meet The Blonde. Greyson grabs Marion by his now crimson-streaked hair, and goes to pull him to his feet, but Marion is there with another kick to that knee, and Greyson goes down on one knee. Marcus rakes the eyes, and brings Blade into the standing headscissors, and on that rampway …

Alan Ducard: REVOLUTIONARY THRILL! MARION HITS THAT PILEDRIVER ON THAT ELEVATED WALKWAY!

Jimmy Yates: What a change in fortune for The True Revolutionary! Marion now drags The Outlaw back inside the ring after that big finishing shot!

Bryan Harris: It’s time! Marion is going to finish him off just as he did to win the LEGACY World Title!

Marion stands over The Outlaw, reaches down, and SLAPS Greyson across the face, getting Greyson’s blood on his hands. Marion smiles, and then rolls Blade over and makes a slashing motion across his throat as he grabs Greyson around the neck and wrenches back applying the camel clutch to The Outlaw.

Alan Ducard: MARION HAS THE CAMEL CLUTCH LOCKED IN TIGHT– those fingers are locked solid and he’s wrenching that neck and that spine! The Outlaw is in just in an amazing amount of pain - his blood is covering Marion’s hands. Marion is … yes he’s screaming for Blade to just give up, and now he’s directing Rollins to check him.

Jimmy Yates: He won’t give up here Alan, I know he won’t. He won’t let Marion beat him like this again.

Bryan Harris: What choice does he have Jimbo? How is he going to power out of this with his legs having taken such a beating? THERE IS NO WAY OUT!

Alan Ducard: Rollins is looking very concerned here gentlemen, he’s asking Blade again if he wants to give – Blade is shaking his head but his arm is going slack.

Bryan Harris: He’s got nothing left Alan – NOTHING! Marion promised he would make Blade quit and he’s about to make good on that promise.

The fans sense something is very wrong as The Outlaw’s hands are no longer reaching out desperately as if he were headed for the ropes. Susan looks on anxiously into the ring at the man who was to be her champion here tonight. The fans in attendance look on anxiously at the man who was to be their hero here tonight in Chicago. Those watching around the world look on in fear as Marion’s smile grows wider, and he growls at Blade to just “Say it … SAY IT!” The fans grow louder and louder in their “LET’S GO BLADE!” chants, but you can sense the element of fear in their voices as Blade stops shaking against Marion … and Rollins brings the microphone to Blade’s lips. Travis asks Greyson if he gives … and The Outlaw speaks with an agonized, guttural growl.

The Outlaw: I … I …. NO!

Marion’s eyes grow wide with rage … screaming … “SAY IT” over and over again as The Outlaw begins to move his legs and forcing them back under his body … and he begins to stand!

Alan Ducard: I DON’T BELIEVE IT! The Outlaw is getting to his feet!

Bryan Harris: NO! HE CAN’T BE!

Alan Ducard: THE OUTLAW IS TO HIS FEET … HE SLAMS MARION BACK INTO THE BUCKLES … HE SLAMS HIM AGAIN AND THE HOLD IS BROKEN!

Jimmy Yates: THIS CROWD IS GOING INSANE!

The Outlaw walks out of the corner after freeing himself, and Marion begins staggering out after him, but The Outlaw turns on a dime and rushes Marion!

Alan Ducard: KILLSHOT! BLADE CONNECTS!

The crowd comes unglued as The Outlaw, a wild-look in his eyes, gets the legs crossed as if performing a sharpshooter, locking them in place under the arm, and he then reaches back, grabbing Marion’s arms! Marion yells out in pain as Blade torques the hold. Marion tries to struggle, but he has no limbs to go anywhere!

Alan Ducard: WHAT A SUBMISSION HOLD … HE HAS THAT STRETCH LOCKED ON TIGHT!

Bryan Harris: Son of a … Blade has him trapped! I can’t believe it!

Jimmy Yates: Listen to this crowd, screaming for Marion to quit!

Marion’s hair is now more red than blonde from his wounds – a better match to Susan’s red tresses. Marion’s head circles defiantly as he tries to block out the pain – his hair whipping some of that blood. He looks out to Susan, his eyes angry and desperate, and screams out to Susan …

“SUSIE … HELP ME! COME ON … HELP ME!”

The pet name does nothing, as Susan looks back with a cold, cruel smile, and she shakes her head no.

Marion tosses his head back in pain, biting down on his lip so hard to block out the pain he draws some of his own blood. His face turns red, and then a sickening purplish shade. The crowd at this point is about to explode, in unison screaming for Marion to finally … DIE MARION DIE!

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw isn’t weakening … he’s got that hold locked on … Blade screams for Rollins to ask him. He screams for Marion to say it …

Rollins sticks the microphone in Marion’s face, and he shakes his head, and The Outlaw feeling the pause jerks back on the arms a little further, locking just a bit more … and finally …

A scream wells up in Marcus Marion’s throat …

“I QUIT”

With those words, The Outlaw gives one last painful jerk, and releases the hold as the crowd EXPLODES in cheers and Travis Rollins signals for the bell.

Bryan Harris: I can’t believe it … I can’t believe he said it!

Jimmy Yates: But he did say it Bryan and this war is over … after nearly three years this war is finally over!

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match … The Outlaw Greyson Blade!!!

The Outlaw after releasing the hold falls to his knees, and remains there for a few moments, before finally rising, the pain in his right knee coming on stronger with each passing second. Travis Rollins raises his hand as he looks down to Marion who looks out to Susan. Susan stands clapping and smirking at Marion who has covered his face with his hands as he rolls over on the canvas forced to endure the capacity crowd cheering his defeat.

Alan Ducard: This was an amazing match gentlemen, but was indeed only one man to rise from the ashes, and that man was Greyson Blade.

The Outlaw looks down at Marion for a moment with his arm still raised, and he looks out to the crowd, their cheers continuing as he then steps through the ropes, giving Susan a nod in her seat at ringside. He then makes his way back up the ramp to an ovation from the capacity crowd leaving Marion still covering his face in the ring.
