Last night marked the start of our first ever Winter Draft League, and we had two great games to kick off the season!\u00a0 First up was the Red Ryders against the Blues Brothers.\u00a0 Each team had a single goal, heading into the second half.\u00a0 Midway through the second, Craig Desjarlais and Tim Fialcowitz scored for the Red Ryders.\u00a0 Down 3-1, Pete Grigelis scored to get the Blues Brothers within one goal, but the scoring would end there.\u00a0\u00a0Ryders’ goalie Dallas Nash was able to fend off the rest of Brothers’\u00a0shots,\u00a0picking up the win!\u00a0 The final score was Red Ryders: 3, Blues Brothers: 2.\u00a0 The second game was another close one.\u00a0\u00a0La Flama Blanca, captained by Keith Cross, jumped out to a 4-1 lead against the Blackstreet Boys.\u00a0 Blackstreet would fight all the way back to tie game, late in the second half.\u00a0 In the game’s final second, John Coppolino of La Flama Blanca completed his hat trick, squeaking\u00a0a goal\u00a0past James Reed.\u00a0 La Flama Blanca came away with the 5-4 win!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
