We had some great first round action last night!\u00a0 The Misfits kicked things off, with a big 8-4 win over the Leesburg Lowercases.\u00a0 John Coppolino of The Misfits had a standout performance, scoring 5 goals and adding one assist.\u00a0 In the second game, Dynamo defeated the Hawks by a score of 5-0.\u00a0 Scott Webb earned the shutout in goal, and John Hines\u00a0led Dynamo\u00a0with 2 goals and 2 assists.\u00a0 In the last game of evening, Easton Fection was able to knock out the first place Ovenchicken.\u00a0 The score was tied 3-3, until Jason Gross scored the game winner for Easton Fection, with only a couple minutes remaining!\u00a0 The final score was Easton Fection: 4, Ovenchicken: 3.\u00a0 Congratulations to our winning playoff teams, and we’ll see everyone next week for Round 2!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
