Our first games of October are in the books!\u00a0 The Oldballs remain undefeated, as they topped the Misfits in a convincing fashion.\u00a0 Craig Desjarlais had 5 goals, while Brian Taylor and Jacob Poole each had 4 goals.\u00a0 Oldballs goaltender Dallas Nash earned his third win of the season.\u00a0 The final score was Oldballs: 14, Misfits: 3.\u00a0 The second game of the night was a nail-biter between Book Hockey and Ovenchicken.\u00a0 Book Hockey had a 2-1 lead, until late in the second half when Carter Moog scored to send the game to OT.\u00a0 Less than a minute into the overtime period, CJ Schoenherr would notch his third goal of the game to clinch the victory for Book Hockey.\u00a0 \u00a0 In the evening’s final game, the Leesburg Lowercases defeated The Fury by a score of 11-2.\u00a0 Bryan Oullette led the Lowercases with 4 goals and 2 assists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
