Week 1 of our 2016 Fall Season is in the books! \u00a0The Misfits defeated Ovenchicken by a score of 5-2, in the season opener. \u00a0John Coppolino had 3 goals for The Misfits, including the game winner. \u00a0In the second game the Leesburg Lowercases picked up a 3-1 victory against the Hitmen. \u00a0Rob Dalkin had a standout performance in net, only allowing the single goal to earn the win. \u00a0The last game of the night was an exciting one between Book Hockey and the Hawks. \u00a0Tied after regulation, Hawks’ captain Jordan Kunzler would score the deciding goal in overtime. \u00a0The final score was Hawks: 5, Book Hockey: 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
