The Punishers’ undefeated streak came to end last night, as The Misfits picked up the 5-2 win. \u00a0Steve Tippett and Steven Voss each had a pair of goals for The Misfits. \u00a0In the second game of the night, \u00a0Book Hockey earned a convincing 9-0 victory against the Hawks. \u00a0Kevin Malone scored 4 goals and CJ Schoenherr scored 3 goals for Book Hockey. \u00a0Will Cunningham earned the shutout in goal. \u00a0The evening’s final game was a close one between Ovenchicken and the Leesburg Lowercases. \u00a0Tied 2-2 after the first half, Carter Moog and Nick Dornbusch of Ovenchicken would score the only other goals of the game. \u00a0The final score was Ovenchicken: 4, Lowercases: 2. \u00a0We’ll see everyone on Thursday night!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
