Tonight’s games were all exciting ones! \u00a0Kicking things off, we had the Punishers vs the Leesburg Lowercases. \u00a0In the end, the Lowercases held on to a 2-1 lead, earning their second win of the season. \u00a0Keith Cross and Tim Fialcowitz had the goals for the Lowercases. \u00a0Randy Anthony picked up the win, in his goal-tending debut. \u00a0In the second game, the Vienna Orange Wings defeated Book Hockey by a score of 5-1. \u00a0Jeremy Silver had a pair of goals for Vienna, and captain Steve Willey tallied the game winner. \u00a0In the last game of the night, The Misfits etched out a 6-5 win, against the previously undefeated Ovenchicken. \u00a0Brian Lesh of the Misfits had a standout performance, scoring 2 goals and assisting on Steve Tippett’s late first half goal. \u00a0Chris Rhodes scored the eventual game winning goal, late in the second half.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
