The Misfits rebounded from their loss in Week 2, shutting out Book Hockey – 6 to 0. \u00a0Steven Voss had 3 goals and 1 assist for the Misfits, and Danny Mastromichalis recorded the shutout. \u00a0In the battle of the only two undefeated teams, Ovenchicken bested the Ashburn Pub Punishers by a score of 6-1. \u00a0Kyle Carlson had the game winning goal, early in the first half for Ovenchicken. \u00a0He also added another goal and an assist, in the second half. \u00a0The Vienna Orange Wings and Leesburg Lowercases faced off, in the last game of the night. \u00a0After trading goals back and forth, the Orange Wings finally got some separation in the second half. \u00a0Kevin Lawton led the Wings with 2 goals and 2 assists, as his team picked up the \u00a07-3 win. \u00a0 \u00a0Next week we have games on Tuesday AND Thursday! \u00a0See you out there!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
