The first round of the Winter 2020 Playoffs got underway last night, with two exciting games.\u00a0 First up was the undefeated Red Ryders against Freezing Reign.\u00a0 In the first half, the Ryders jumped out to an early 3-0 lead.\u00a0 Freezing Reign would fight back, scoring 3 goals to tie the score.\u00a0 Ryders’ captain CJ Schoenherr would then get the go ahead goal, with merely seconds left in the first half.\u00a0 That’s all it would take, as the Reign could not muster another goal in the second.\u00a0 The final score was Ryders: 8, Reign: 3.\u00a0\u00a0In the second game, the\u00a0#3 seed Abominable Snowmen\u00a0took on the\u00a0#2 seed Blues Brothers.\u00a0 With a hat trick from John Coppolino and a perfect game from Michael Wurman in goal,\u00a0the Snowmen defeated\u00a0the Blues Brothers by a score of 6-0.\u00a0 Next week the Snowmen will face the Red Ryders in the finals!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
