Tonight's Lineup

The scene opens at the typical recap position you expect to see at STRIFE... but this isn't STRIFE. This is an announcement, but the same set backdrop and announce team trio are there, so we understand if you get the same feel to it.

Alan Ducard: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the official announcement of the matches upcoming for STRIFE 65. There are eight great matches set to take place.

Bryan Harris: With the next pay per view being Destined For Greatness, the decision makers here in LEGACY have decided not to have a SuperCard tonight, as that would require Crazy Boy to defend his belt before the big event.

Jimmy Yates: I can't blame them for not requiring Crazy Boy to defend before the pay per view. They've got an intriguing, heated match coming up in the main event of the flagship event of the calendar year with X-Calibur - the former two-time LEGACY World Champion, attempting to get his third-ever title reign against Crazy Boy.

Bryan Harris: I'd be perfectly happy if Matthew Dawson were to get a shot at Crazy Boy at STRIFE 65 - which would obviously result in Matthew Dawson vs X-Calibur at Destined For Greatness IV... but I guess the front office wants their new golden boy in the main event for DFG IV.

Alan Ducard: Well Matthew Dawson, by all accounts, hasn't even inquired about cashing in his Tao of Valor tokens yet. He could've asked for a match at STRIFE 65, and he could've asked for a shot at Destined For Greatness, but thus far he hasn't.

Bryan Harris: Well I don't know about all that, but Matthew Dawson is a talented young guy and could've been given a title shot based on his talent and accomplishments without even giving up his tokens... but whatever. He'll pick his spot and find the right time.

Jimmy Yates: Dawson's associates in V.I.P. will see action as Adam Davis and Ledge will square off on STRIFE 65 against the Saunders Family.

Alan Ducard: And with Harrison Saunders getting something of an upset over his brother to become Network Champion at STRIFE 64, the two members of the Saunders Family who will be competing in that tag match are Paul Saunders Jr and the gigantic Boyd Saunders.

Bryan Harris: Well that's the match up Junior has been hoping to get since they starting teaming here in LEGACY, but I'm going to tell you that it doesn't matter which Saunders brother teams up with Junior - they aren't going to beat V.I.P.

Jimmy Yates: Well at least the Saunders Family get the chance at V.I.P., which el Chupacabra can't say - since V.I.P. are ducking them.

Alan Ducard: In case you hadn't seen, Diego and H-Rod were requesting a chance to get back at V.I.P. - who were responsible for Hector Rodriguez's injury back at Destined For Greatness 2009.

Bryan Harris: Yeah, 2009, Al. DFG III. A year ago. How about having el Chubby actually show that they're still a legit tag team after that loss a year ago? V.I.P. are arguably the number 2 tag team in the business right now - potentially even the uncrowned champions, and you're just going to give a team filled with rust a chance against V.I.P.? That's irresponsible. At least The Saunders Family has been competing regularly.

Jimmy Yates: Well V.I.P. don't have the belts, Tres Bien does, and they will be defending the titles at STRIFE 65 against Domination.

Alan Ducard: Talk about a tough task, Tres Bien will truly have their mettle tested against the former two-time LEGACY World Tag Team Champions.

Bryan Harris: You can see how much faith the front office have in Tres Bien. They've already announced that IF Tres Bien fails to defend against Domination, their "guaranteed rematch" will take place at Destined For Greatness IV.

Jimmy Yates: I have to agree with you a little bit there, Harris. You would think that a four-way tag team ladder match wouldn't be considered a suitable return match for former champions, the odds of regaining the belts certainly not as good as if they had a regular two-team tag match.

Alan Ducard: We spoke of The Saunders Family taking on V.I.P., well Harrison Saunders finds himself in a championship match - surprising to some that Harrison goes into his match on STRIFE 65 not as the challenger, but as the champion!

Bryan Harris: Oh I'm definitely one of them. I certainly didn't expect Harrison Saunders to beat his gigantic brother, Boyd, for that belt. Also, I'm disappointed that there's not a better challenger going into this match than Sunny Rayne. I mean, seriously? The Network Title just took a huge step back.

Jimmy Yates: There were certainly great reigns by Hazard and then Boyd Saunders before Harrison got the belt, but it's a bit premature to be talking about Harrison being a failure just yet. How about watching to see what he does before we decide how good his reign might be.

Alan Ducard: One thing that certainly was a disappointment back on STRIFE 64 is when John Thomas was found backstage, bloodied in an attack and kept from competing in his first round Hawkins Memorial Tournament match against Rocky Stellar.

Bryan Harris: In a move of pure idiocy, John Thomas has decided that since the signs definitely point to this attack having being perpetrated by Frank Garvin, he asked the front office for a shot at Frank Garvin, and not only did they agree to give him a match with Garvin, they made it a No Limits title defense. I know John Thomas likes to consider himself durable, and he has a history of being able to take a beating, but you HAVE to question his decision to face Garvin - assuming that's even who made the attack on John.

Jimmy Yates: The signs all point to Garvin, and although he hasn't admitted to it yet, Frank hasn't denied that he was the one who attacked John Thomas, and you think he would if he wasn't the one who did that attack.

Bryan Harris: Either that or he's looking forward to kicking John Thomas' head in, which he's sure to do.

Jimmy Yates: Well speaking of John Thomas' status, because he was unable to compete at STRIFE 64 and has asked for a shot at Frank Garvin, the front office has allowed Rocky Stellar to advance beyond the front round, and now he will face Greyson Blade on STRIFE 65 in a semi-final match between the two.

Alan Ducard: What a huge match that will be, with two of the legends in this business locking horns with such a huge opportunity on the line.

Bryan Harris: Oh it'll be a dream match for a lot of people, but if you look at the other side of the bracket, that's what I'm looking towards as the more exciting semi-final of this tournament, with Dan Stein and his new attitude and rejuvenated desire taking on a guy who basically owns this tournament, Stephen Rawlings - a two-time Hawkins Memorial tournament finalist, and when Rawlings wins this entire thing for a second time, they may as well rename it to the Rawlings Memorial.

Jimmy Yates: They're both great technical wrestlers, no doubt about it, and they both run similar, fast-paced styles. Though I'm definitely more interested in the match between "The Stellar One" and "The Outlaw", I'm sure Rawlings vs Stein will be a great time as well.

Alan Ducard: In another match set up by challenge made on STRIFE 64, Thomas Manchester Black and Chris Turner will lock up in a No Limits match.

Bryan Harris: Those two have been at each other for a while now, and I can't wait to see how rough this one's going to be. Have I mentioned lately that I love the No Limits division?

Jimmy Yates: Those two guys are definitely different sides of the same coin. Thomas Manchester Black is a thinking man's wrestler who knows more than his share of technical wrestling moves and holds. Chris Turner, on the other hand, looks like he never thinks at all and uses more brutality and different types of attacks than he even attempts to act like a wrestler.

Alan Ducard: It doesn't necessarily take a list of technical moves to win in a No Limits match, so don't count Chris Turner out of this match just because his abilities are significantly less refined than those employed by his opponent.

Bryan Harris: I'd count him out mostly because Thomas Manchester Black is one of the best guys on the roster. In fact, if TMB had a better opponent than this goof Chris Turner - who the fans appear to be appreciating for his anarchist tendencies, if TMB had a better opponent, his match could warrant a main event spot.

Jimmy Yates: I don't know about that, but we don't even have to wonder, as the main event is filled with a very high profile match.

Alan Ducard: Absolutely it is, as the former World Tag Team Champions, two of the most high profile competitors in LEGACY history - Loco Martinez and X-Calibur, take on their opponents for Destined For Greatness IV in a tag match.

Bryan Harris: Look, as far as I'm concerned, Crazy Boy is a fluke of a World Champion, having somehow managed to win that Co-Op Challenge, and Laura Seton is a joke and shouldn't even be competing against men. X-Calibur is going to get the World Title back at DFG IV, and Loco Martinez is probably going to end Laura Seton's career, leaving her plenty of time to find a guy she deems suitable to unlock her chastity belt, and STRIFE 65 is going to be a preview of those two pay per view drubbings.

Jimmy Yates: If you think those matches at DFG IV are going to be one-sided, you probably spent more time at the hotel bar earlier today than I thought, and this main event tag match is going to be great. We certainly ARE going to get a preview of Destined For Greatness, but it's going to involve Profanity & Insanity getting figuratively punched in the mouth.

Alan Ducard: Eight matches on the card for STRIFE 65, with three of the LEGACY championships at stake and a great preview of things to come at the pay per view.

Potential Co-Finalist Partners?

Stephen Rawlings enters the profanity and insanity locker room where Rocky Stellar is busy checking himself out in the mirror.

Stellar (To himself): Damn, if I were a chick, I'd totally fuck myself....

Stephen Rawlings: Hey...

Stellar spins around, acting coy, trying to figure out if Rawlings heard him.

Stephen Rawlings: I JUST heard about you wrestling Blade... That's cool..

Stellar shakes his head and rolls his eyes.

Stellar: You JUST heard? Its been on the call website for a week...a legend <scoff> vs. The Legend of Legacy. Its a HUGE deal.

Stephen Rawlings: What? I'm supposed to pay attention to everything you guys do? God Damn... Am I a f*cking babysitter? I had more important things to worry about.

Stellar: Ha ha ha ha...

Stephen Rawlings: What?

Stellar: You...YOU have something more important to worry about.

Stephen Rawlings: Yeah... ass. I have to wrestle Dan Stein.... He's not a challenge... Oh god no.... I could beat him with an arm tied behind my back, and a finger in my nose -

Rawlings looks around to see if Loco is in the room, who would probably try and Rawlings up on the challenge...then sighs a breath to see he isn't.

Stephen Rawlings: But... I wanna look good! So I've been training... A lot. I want to look my best when I face the winner at the Pay Per View... I guess by what's scheduled... It'll be you...

Stellar: Damn fucking right it'll be me. This is huge fucking slap in the face - the Legend of Legacy - having to take on a wanna be legend like Blade. And, because of Belote's mistake, I'm gonna drop that som-na-bitch on his damned skull and get the three count. Putting us in the finals.

Stephen Rawlings: So then what? Do you like take a dive or something since we're teammates, and since I'm kinda the shit and your kinda well "Legendy"?

Stellar laughs a little and turns away from Rawlings.

Stellar: Sure...THATS the idea I was thinking. The Legend of Legacy will take "a dive..." so a guy like "Stephen Rawlings" can win a useless memorial tournament.

Rawlings ignores the clear sarcasm in Stellar's voice, but the camera catches it.

Stellar: After all...a guy like the Icon should put over Stephen Rawlings. It's only "natural" progression.

Stephen Rawlings: Good I'm glad you realize your "role" in all this. I mean, this is my tournament... And I deserve my rematch against X for the title way more than you deserve anything.

Stephen Smirks.

Stephen Rawlings: BUT, I mean, I could beat you for real, but it wouldn't look good for the team when I beat you and you get jealous of how much better I am than you...

He slaps Stellar on the shoulder.

Stephen Rawlings: Well buddy... I got business to attend to before my match... Good luck out there.

He starts to walk away.

Stellar nods, pissed, but let's Rawlings walk out, before whispering under his breath:

Stellar: You too...punk.

F/X Network Championship Match
Sunny Rayne vs Harrison Saunders (c)

Harrison whips Sunny Rayne into the roeps and she rebounds off and slides in between his legs and jumps up to her feet and delivers a kick to Harrison's right leg. Harrison stumbles back, Sunny goes for a second kick, but Harrison catches her foot and whips her across the ring with a dragonscrew whip. Harison puls her to her feet and hits a vertical suplex and then goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. Harrison lifts Sunnt back up and attempts to whip her into the corner, but she reverses it and Harrison goes back first into the turnbuckle. Sunny follows him in and monkey flips him out of the corner into the center of the ring. Harrison goes to get to his feet and Sunny runs in with a knee to the face sending him back to the mat. Sunny runs and jumps up to the middle rope and goes for a lionsault but the current F/X champion gets his knes up and she crashes gut first into the extended knees.

Harrison gets to his feet and yanks Sunny up and knocks her straight back to the mat with a short arm clothesline. He doesn't let go of her her, but yanks her back up again and sends her chest first into corner. Harrison goes to follow her in but gets an elbow to the gut and she thrsts back smashing her backside into his gut knocking him back. Sunny hops up to the second rop and does a spinning back kick sending the champion to the mat. Sunny goes for the cover and gets a two count. Sunny senses she is close to victory, she waits for Harrison to get to his feet and runs to the ropes and rebounds backwards withe the flying burrito spinning back elbow, but Harrison ducks and lifts her off her feet and slams her to the canvas with a variation of a belly to back suplex.

Harrison gets to his feet standing tall over Sunny now with a little more confidence. He drops a rolling knee across the masked face of Sunny Rayne. Harrison brings Sunny to her feet once again delivers a quick forearm to the face and whips Harrison into the ropes and takes him down with a drop toe hold. Sunny goes for a leg drop to the back of the ehad, but Harrison rolls out of the way an dup to his feet as Sunny gets up Harrison hits a standing dropkick sending Sunny through the second and third rope to the outside. Sunny rolls out of the ring holding her neck as she makes her wya to the back. Back in the ring the ref hands Harrison the F/X title and he raises it in the air getting some cheers before climbing out of the ring and making his way to the back.

Tit for Tat

The scene open to Thomas Manchester Black back stage. He is not in a good mood as he is yelling at Smith Cartwright. Cartwright is trying to calm the former No Limit Champion, but Thomas isn’t trying to hear it. Stagehands stop to stare and TMB shoots them a look.

TMB: I am tired of all the bullshit, I’m starting to get from this company, Cartwright. I’ve busted my ass here and it seems like I’m getting shafted. So if Rob wants his little No Limit match between me and Rain man, I want to get something out of the deal.

Cartwright signals the people to move as he speaks to Black.

Smith Cartwright: Listen, Thomas, I don’t know what you think is going on. But you signed a contract and...

TMB quickly grabs Cartwright by the collar and lifts him off his feet before slamming him against the wall.

TMB: Listen, mother fucker, I don’t know you well enough for you to address me by my first name. I care if I signed a contract, I walk right out and you’ll have to find someone else to make Turner look anywhere as good as I do in the ring. You want this hardcore match, then at the next show I get my good ol’ fashion wrestling match. I expect the contract to be at my door…so run along

Smith tries to get TMB to let him go.

Smith Cartwright: Listen you can’t...

TMB lets go of Cartwright and begins to walk away. Cartwright shakes his head and dials a number on his cell as the scene begins to fade.

Tag Team Match
V.I.P. vs Saunders Family (Boyd & Junior)

Junior Saunders had a tough time getting off the blocks for this one and was worked over methodically by V.I.P. for the majority of the match, but he was able to make the hot tag to Boyd, who cleaned house. From there, the Saunders Family showed some great offensive double-teams, with Boyd slightly annoyed by his brother employing some cheating tactics. During a disagreement between the two about Junior using a low blow on Adam Davis, Ledge was able to knock Junior out of the ring. This lead to a little more offense by V.I.P., but el Chupacabra showed up and while Diego distracted the referee, Hector Rodriguez knocked out Ledge, and while Adam Davis and Diego fought outside the ring, Junior Saunders got the pinfall on Ledge for the upset victory.

Destinies Revealed

With smiles on their faces, Diego de Cardenas and Hector Rodriguez head backstage through the curtain. After they walk through the gorilla position, they start looking around and then spot who they're looking for, immediately moving in the direction of Landon Savage.

Hector Rodriguez: Lando, come on over here, we're in need of your talents.

Savage looks a bit confused, but H-Rod takes him by the sleeve and they start making their way back over towards the gorilla position just as V.I.P. make their way back through the curtain. When Ledge and Adam Davis make their way down the short ramp and end up face to face with el Chupacabra and the front office representative, Diego puts it out there.

Diego de Cardenas - Well putas, lets make this official. We got Landon Savage here all ready to act in his front office duties, so now you just gotta say it.

Ledge looks a bit perplexed.

H-Rod: We saw your faces out there, you're more than ready to make the challenge.

Hector then turns to Landon Savage.

H-Rod: It don't matter whether you put us in the 4-way ladder match for the tag titles, or whether it's just VIP vs el Chupacabra straight up. They want the match, we want the match, so let's make it official.

Ledge smirks as Davis speaks up.

Davis: What have you done in the past six months to make anyone give a f**k about you? What, attack us in the ring? Trying to play the old "what goes around comes around" card on us? The fact of the matter is this.. you lost. We won. We can go around in circle until the end of time and that's never going to change.

Ledge: You really expect us to waste yet another ten minutes in the ring with you? Listen well, pobrecitos...your spot is in the back of the line. You're number ten thousand, and right now we're calling number 1...Tres Bien.

Ledge takes a step towards Diego.

Ledge: You want us? Only one things is going to get you into that ring: Time.

Davis gives Savage a nod.

Davis: Tres Bien. Saunders. Domination. VIP. Make the match.

Diego de Cardenas - ¡Ay, caramba! Saunders Familia?! Whatever you're smoking, it's too powerful for someone on when they make big suggestions like that.

Landon coughs and draws the attention of both members of el Chupacabra.

Landon Savage: What, you don't see it, Diego? LEGACY needs their top four teams in the Ladder Match at Destined For Greatness IV. Tres Bien, Domination... they're definitely in it. V.I.P. were a finalist in the tag team tournament, so they're one of the top three. A fourth? Well Saunders Family did beat V.I.P. tonight, as you very well know...

Hector steps up and pounds on his own chest.

H-Rod: ONLY. Because. Of. US!!

Landon looks over, smirks, and shrugs his shoulders.

Landon Savage: Doesn't really matter HOW it happened.... Because it did. So whatever the spanish word for "irony" is.... it applies here.

Hector grits his teeth and Diego tries to leap at the front office representative, but H-Rod reaches out and pulls his tag team partner back.

Those Transgressions

Cronos Diamante was backstage with a random girl, brunette and athletic, with a V.I.P. pass hung around her neck carelessly. He leaned toward her with a charming smile on his face; well, what passed as charming for a man like Diamante. She was completely and inexplicably interested in what he was saying and the so called “game” he was spitting. He wasn’t so much interested in her for any other reason than a piece of ass after Strife went off the air, but she appeared all right with this. He leaned in closer and whispered something in her ear and she giggled and punched his arm playfully.

Girl: You’re bad.

Cronos shrugged and looked off into the distance, far behind the girl to which he knew no name. She was just some V.I.P. girl and that sufficed for now. But the woman walking up to his location was a completely different. He knew her name. He knew just about everything about her. What he didn’t know was why she was here, at Strife. Her name was Sahara. Marcus Mirage’s wife and the woman he had brutally attacked at Glimmer of Hope.

Sahara: Can I speak with you, Cronos?

His eyes shifted to the left side of his body, deciding whether or not he should talk to her or walk away with the girl he was with. He made a promise and although he was an evil bastard, he still kept his promises no matter how stupid or ill conceived they were at the time.

Cronos Diamante: I can’t promise I’ll listen or care but go ‘head.

She looked surprisingly well. Her hair was short now, a pixy cut, but it looked good on her. Her face had healed surprisingly well and one could hardly tell there was much damage done, aside from a few stitches above her right eyebrow. She was dressed down abnormally so in a pair of faded jeans and tennis shoes but what was odd about the entire outfit was a Punisher shirt, rustic and black with the words “Not Vengeance, Punishment” below the skull.

Sahara: I’m sorry for interrupting, by the way, but I came here to do the same thing I just did; to apologize.

Cronos’ eyes shifted to Sahara. He looked her up and down, gauging her mannerism before finally resting his gaze on her eyes. He was curious though.

Cronos Diamante: For what are you apologizing for exactly?

Her tone was very endearing and serious. In stark contrast to the way she spoke in the past it was almost “over the top” and unbelievable; at least to him anyway.

Sahara: There are a lot of things I’ve done in the past that caused you a lot of grief and pain. It stems back from during AODWF to recently in Legacy. I haven’t really done a lot of good things for you, and I've been a contribution to some of your failures recently and I’m sorry for that.

Cronos was stunned and his brain was running a mile a minute, trying to figure out whether she was serious or not. She sounded serious. She sounded completely honest. But it couldn’t be. There was no way.

Cronos Diamante: I don’t want your apology. If I didn’t promise I wouldn’t attack you again I’d lay you out right now! People don't see you for what you are, they see this...this angelic figure...but I know the real you.

Cronos slammed the desk next to him and the girl next to him jumped while Sahara simply stood there calm, collected and with compassionate eyes. He looked away completely confused and angry. She smiled and took a risk at running her thumb on his cheek, expecting it to calm his nerves which it didn’t.

Sahara: Cronos. Hey. Look at me.

Cronos looked up at her almost as if she had a small bit of control over him in the situation. But he snapped out of it as soon as it had happened and he crossed his arms while he looked at her.

Sahara: I want you to know also that I forgive you for what you did to me. Physical pain will heal and so will the mental pain but if you hadn’t done what you did, the hospital never would have found what they did and I’d probably be dead or dying very soon. In a way, you saved my life. Sometimes you have to endure a lot of pain to find things like this out. Thank you, Cronos.

“Something is off,” Cronos thought. “Something HAS to be off.” There was no way this was happening. If he hadn’t known her for so long he might believe what she was saying but he couldn’t possibly believe it.

Cronos Diamante: I don’t know what game you’re playing, Sahara.

Sahara cut him off abruptly.

Sahara: No games, Cronos. Just an apology and a thank you.

And she turned and walked away. He watched her disappear into the distance and Cronos leaned against the table next to him with his arms still folded across his chest, thinking and contemplating what she said.

Cronos Diamante: That was a completely fake apology. Trying to make me believe she forgives me for putting her in the hospital is completely retarded. And that Punisher shirt, she wore that on purpose. What is she getting at? Why play mind games this late in the game? Does she really believe I’m going to fall for this?

The girl from his left side entered camera view again and looked at Cronos with a shy smile on her face.

Girl: I don’t know, Cronos… she sounded pretty heartfelt and real to me. Maybe she really is sorry.

Cronos looked at her incredulously.

Cronos Diamante: I don’t believe it! I didn’t save her life. I wanted to end it! I DON’T BELIEVE IT!

Cronos turned and walked off, leaving the girl standing there wondering what she’d do now. The worst part about it was she had other people believing it already. He knew that it was all a lie though. He knew this was some sort of mind game. It had to be. And he knew there was some sort of ultimate goal in mind doing what she did but he didn’t know what. But it wouldn’t work. He wouldn’t let himself fall for something so unbelievable and fake and he’d continue on down his path to Destined for Greatness according to plan. He kicked a garbage can hard and sent it flying down the hallway and turned the corner, disappearing to the locker room area confused and angry.

No Limits Match
Thomas Manchester Black vs Chris Turner

This was a brutal match which started in the ring and then went through the crowd. The two disappeared backstage and when the cameras caught up to them, they were both bloodied but Chris Turner, who was getting beaten up soundly when they disappeared, was now the aggressor, pulling TMB back through the curtain. Despite a failed attempt to throw TMB off the stage, Turner was able to stay on the offensive, moving back to the ring. Chris set up a table outside the ring, though one of the sets of legs wouldn't stay up. He then put TMB up onto the apron and climbed into the ring underneath the bottom rope. When he tried to grab TMB (who was standing at the time, holding himself up with the top rope), Turner himself got grabbed by TMB, who hoisted him up out of the ring with a vertical suplex attempt, but Turner slammed his knee into TMB's head. Both men fell over backwards, TMB crashing into the table, Turner partially hitting the table, partially hitting the security guardrail, and both men were left unconscious, but then Thomas Manchester Black rolls over, still unconscious, ending up on top of Chris Turner, and the referee counts the pinfall.

Literary Requestions

Stephen Rawlings charges into the office of Landon Savage.

Stephen Rawlings: LANDON!!!!! We have a problem!

Landon sighs.

Landon Savage: What now? The water not wet enough for you? The ring not square enough for you?

Stephen Rawlings: NO! It's about my match!

Landon Savage: Oh God... I can't make THIS match for a world title shot. You have to make it to the finals first.

Stephen Rawlings: What? I know that! I'm fine with that! I'm wrestling Dan Stein tonight.... Tonight's match will be the LEAST competitive match I've wrestled in months. And then you have captain Ahab and Moby Dick wrestling in the other match. No matter how you look at it.... The world title shot is mine.

Landon Savage: Captain Ahab?

Stephen Rawlings: Yeah...Stellar! . First and foremost... He was born the same year the book was written. And two.... His knees are about as bad as Ahab's phantom knee.

Landon Savage: Did you just read Moby Dick or something?

Stephen Rawlings: No, but I was looking for a good metaphor for Stellar and Blade online, and I found the wikipedia page on Moby Dick...

Landon Savage: We're off topic here. What is the problem. Why did you come in here interrupting me?

Stephen Rawlings: Because you have Blade and Stellar booked AFTER my match.

Landon stares blankly at Rawlings.

Landon Savage: Get out!

Stephen Rawlings: No! We need to fix this. This is going to guarantee me into my third straight Hawkins Tournament finals. Tha'ts an a accomplishment done by... well... I'm the first Fricken one! So my match should be the main event!

Landon Savage: Get out before I call security.

Stephen Rawlings: Come on... You know I deserve the main event. The only time I've wrestled in a main event in months was the Co- Op challenge, and everyone was in that match.

Landon picks up the phone.

Stephen Rawlings: Nevermind... I'm going. We need to work on this though. PPV... When I'm wrestling Blade or Stellar? It better be main event.... I don't care if X is gonna beat Crazy Boy for the title again or not. This is about me!

He starts to leave.

Landon Savage: Can you close the door behind-

Rawlings is gone... Door still open.

Landon Savage: I need a raise.

World Tag Team Championship Match
Domination vs Tres Bien ©

Tres Bien were in top form for this match, and they used their speed advantage to partially nullify the strength advantage of Domination. Both teams used good double-teaming, with Tres Bien using quick tags and double-team maneuvers based on quick lightning strikes and misdirection. Domination battered the Japanese duo to slow them down a bit. Before either team could score a pinfall or submission, the time limit was reached and the bell sounded, signaling a Time Limit Draw. When Tres Bien were handed the belts after the match, Trent Logan clapped for them for a great title retention.

Hemlock? Cyanide? Your Choice

We're walking with Loco Martinez who's in his wrestling gear and a yellow "Profanity and Isanity" t-shirt. His eyes narrow as he sees Laura Seton in her gear walking towards him, Madison in jeans and a St. Joe's t-shirt. He stops at the door of Smith Cartwright's backstage office... and its becoming increasingly clear that Laura's destination is the same as his own. He sighs and rolls his eyes.

Loco Martinez: Is this like the whole "women who live together bleed at the same time every month" phenomenon? *Loco smiles at Maddie* - Nice T-shirt, Madison!

Laura places her hand on the doorknob.

Laura: Don't talk to her. *turning her head to Maddie* Don't respond.

Loco and Maddie share an "eye roll" behind Big Sis's back.

Loco Martinez: *Loco puts his hand on the door, stopping Laura from opening it* - Hey... I was here, first... so let me meet with Smith then you can go in there, kay?

Laura: Not okay. I do believe the point of this is both of us at the same time.

Loco: Both of us? What the hell... why am I not surprised Smiddy didn't tell me...

Laura: It could be the fact you forgot because...well, you're an airhead and don't seem to comprehend much.

Loco: *Moves hand* Well, in that case, after... YOU... Princess! *Maddie stifles a giggle*

The two enter and we see Smith at his desk reading a document. He looks up.

Madison: *waving over-eagerly with a big smile* Hiya Smith!

Smith: Hello Madison. Good, you're both here. I'll make this brief, as you two have a match to prepare for. I want to make this abundantly clear. This tag match tonight? Will be the last time you two will be within 100 feet of each other until you're both in the Destined for Greatness Ring.

Loco: You're assuming she MAKES it to D.F.G. after X and I are done with her, Smitty.

Loco: So you're giving us the week off? Seems pretty convenient that Legacy is giving their "Golden Girl" time to hurt that bum wrist!

Laura: Or maybe they want to make sure you're out of the hospital by then.

Smith: Not... exactly. We have something else in mind for our "go home" show, leading to Destined for Greatness. You two have been in each other's faces for what... over a year, now? Words have been exchanged. Matches have been fought, and seeing as you two are in a tag match against each other THIS week? We figured we'd do something a little different. "Pick your poison"... or, more specifically "Your opponents poison" We're going to let each of you pick the other's opponent for the next Strife.

Loco's face stretches into his vintage Cheshire Cat grin.

Smith: I'll give you each a few moments to come up with an opponent.

Loco stretches his arm out in front of him.

Loco: Ladies first.

Laura: *bluntly* I don't know.

Loco: C'mon... we don't have all day.

Laura turns to Loco, looking upset.

Laura: I...don't...KNOW!

Loco clearly enjoying "rattling" Laura. Narrows his eyes.

Loco: You're a professional POINT GUARD. You're whole job is decision making! See the court. Call a play. MAKE... A... F(eep)KING... DECISION!

Laura: I DON'T KNOW YET, YOU FUDGE CAKE!!

Smith: Laura, it's only fair you make a choice right now.

Laura: Can I have a few minutes to ask a few people? My initial choice would be Crazy Boy but I know you guys don't want to risk an injury to him and I don't either. I don't want to be the reason if he'd have a poor showing at DFG.

Loco: You know... for someone who's as "popular" as you are you really don't have many friends, do you? You don't NEED their permission, and I don't want you out there scouting. If you want Crazy Boy to be utterly destroyed BEFORE X gets him? By all means I want to show the world what a fraud he is.

Loco: Wow... way to live up to that "indecisive woman" stereo type... Since I can actually MAKE a decision? My poison will be a gauntlet match involving-

Smith: No gauntlets, Loco-

Loco: You didn't say-

Smith: I am now.

Loco: Okay so a handi-

Smith: No handicapped matches, Loco. One on One. Standard rules. One decision to a finish! Okay?

Loco looks dejected, but not broken.

Loco: That's fine, Smitty. I think the MAN for the job, and is the same man who took Miss Seton out of the Co Op Challenge. My best-good friend. Legend. ICON.... ROCKY STELLAR.

Loco smiles huge.

Loco: Oh and Vegas Loco's official prediction? Tap out to wrist stomps. Smitty? Text me when this broad makes her decision. Oh... and Laura?pick wisely. Whoever you DO pick? Is getting handed a death sentence.

Loco wheels and heads out of the room.

No Limits Championship Match
John Thomas vs Frank Garvin ©

Alan Ducard: Well folks, get ready for a gladiator-like performance that will shake the very foundations of that ring, because tonight we’ll witness John Thomas and Frank Garvin do battle for the bloody honor of holding the No Limits Championship!

Jimmy Yates: Well last week JT was brutalized backstage, and a message was seemingly sent with blood smeared along his mouth in a Joker-like smile, one of Garvin’s twisted calling cards. JT has fully recuperated from the attack though, and tonight he seeks vengeance against “The Strangerous One.”

Bryan Harris: Well I wish Thomas the best of luck, because when facing off against a titanic beast like Garvin, you’ll need ALL the luck you can get. JT needs to understand that he’s stepping into FRANK’S world, not the other way around…and we’ve all seen what kind of hideous actions can be carried out in that No Limits environment.

Alan Ducard: I think it’s safe to say that Thomas is suitably fired up, and he knows exactly what he’s getting into. The Durable One is out here tonight to prove to the masses that he won’t take a beating lying down, if you seek to strike a blow against John Thomas, then expect to receive one in turn.

START MATCH FOOTAGE

John Thomas is out of the starting gate like a war dog, slamming into the reigning No Limits Champion with knee to the gut followed by stiff clubbing blows to the back of Frank’s neck. Garvin manages to set his feet and push JT back, but Thomas is right back on the offensive, closing the distance once more and as he starts to send a barrage of European uppercuts into the shelf of Garvin’s jaw.

Frank stumbles back into the turnbuckles, his mouth twitching with pleasure. He screams at John through tangled hair covering his face, motioning with both hands to “bring it on.”

Frank Garvin: MORE!!! MORE!!!!!

Thomas nods his head, mouthing the words “I’ll give you more than you can handle.” JT moves in and begins to pepper Garvin’s torso with body punches, and then he snatches up a handful of Garvin’s hair and begins to POUND right hands into the freak machine’s face, the final strike so forceful that Frank’s head whips back and a few strands of stringy saliva fly out of his mouth.

JT then takes a step back, sizes up his opponent, and leaps into the air, connecting with a dropkick aimed directly at Garvin’s shoulder joint. Frank’s body flies back following the impact, and then he falls face first to the canvas, breathing heavily through his mouth all the way down.

The Durable One wastes no time, moving to bring Frank up to a vertical base, but the big man counters and drives a HUGE kick into JT’s face, forcing Thomas to eat boot and crash down to the canvas. Garvin then falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring, digging up the ring apron and coming out with a roll of duct tape and a fluorescent light tube.

Garvin slithers back into the ring and throws the bulb to the canvas, proceeding to stamp down on it so that a layer of broken glass covers one corner of the ring. He then leans down and grabs JT by the neck, raising him up slightly while wrapping duct tape around his face one strand at a time. Finally the deed is done, and JT’s ENTIRE face is wrapped in duct tape, his breathing completely restricted.

After this is done JT positively writhes on the canvas, clawing at his face to attempt to free himself of his duct tape mask. Frank stomps down on Thomas’s body while he wiggles on the mat, but JT remains fixed on clawing at the tape, and finally he manages to rip most of the strands from his mouth, eyes, and nose, his flesh beet red as he GASPS for oxygen.

Frank kneels down to pick JT up, but Thomas reaches into his tights, and pulling out a pair of brass knuckles he quickly whips his arm around and fires a brass-knuckle assisted blow into Frank’s abdomen. Garvin doubles over and falls down to a sitting position, hands wrapping around his gut. JT throws his brass equalizer to the side, and shakily rises up to his feet to continue the attack.

Before either man can capitalize though, the scarred co-founder of Project: Scar, Kenji Yamada, EXPLODES on the scene. Seemingly out of nowhere Kenji leaps onto the top rope and springboards off with a clothesline that nearly BEHEADS John Thomas. JT is taken by complete, and Yamada takes advantage, just staying on top of Thomas to rain down closed fists, lefts and rights that mash into Thomas’s face with FIERY intensity.

Meanwhile Garvin just hunkers down into an indian-style sitting position, his eyes wide with sick wonder as he appears to marvel at Yamada’s vicious assault. Yamada starts to choke JT now, both hands locking with vice-like power around Thomas’s windpipe, throttling it closed.

Suddenly a ROAR of applause is heard in the arena, and we see the bringer of this jubilation racing down to the ring, THE SPIRIT OF OPW, PATRICK KIDD! Garvin sees Kidd’s approach, and he bounds up to his feet, childlike glee shining in his eyes at the prospect of getting his hands on Kidd. Kidd slides into the ring and takes the fight RIGHT to Garvin, smashing a heavy right hand into Frank’s face, and Frank responds with a right hand of his own!

In seconds both men are just TEEING OFF on one another, punch for devastating punch, neither man seeming to get the upper hand! The tide turns however when Kenji makes his presence known, sending a karate-style kick into Kidd’s lower back. Kidd cringes, and Yamada responds with a BRUTAL side-kick to the back of Patrick’s knee, dropping him down to a kneeling position.

Sick desire overcomes Frank’s facial expression, and with Kidd kneeling before him, the big man starts to just pound Kidd’s face with methodical, hammer-blow punches, relishing each strike that lands. After busting Kidd’s lip he brings his knuckles up to his nose, inhaling DEEPLY of the scent of Patrick Kidd’s blood. The rain of slow punches continues, until finally Kidd’s body just falls to the side, having taken enough punishment.

Garvin then turns his attention to JT on the mat, who lies in a bloody heap thanks to Kenji’s attack. Yamada smirks, stepping back from JT’s body and presenting the carcass to Garvin as though Thomas were an offering. Garvin moves forward and plants a boot on JT’s chest, and the official has no choice but to count.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner, an STILL No Limits Champion, Fraaaaaankkkkkk Garvvvvvinnnnnn!!

Taking his foot off of John's chest, the victorious Frank Garvin walks over and kneels down, putting a shin on each of Kidd's arms and then sits back onto Patrick's chest.

Frank Garvin: You. Not him...

Frank's arm reaches out, turns Kidd's face towards the fallen John Thomas, then back up towards him.

Frank Garvin: You. Are. Experienced.

Eyes pried open by long fingers.

Frank Garvin: You. Have. The Skills. To Be. My. Friend.

Moving his hand over Kidd's face, Garvin helps Kidd's eyes close.

BACK TO THE STUDIO

Alan Ducard: Talk about a chaotic melee, that was one hell of a No Limits Match! Now I think we all know the truth, Garvin hasn't been targeting John Thomas, he's been going after Patrick Kidd!

Bryan Harris: Well the who the hell attacked John Thomas?

Jimmy Yates: The signs from this match seem to give us a clue, and I’m sure this will get very personal between those two men, as it has already gotten personal between Kidd & Garvin, these two men are hell-bent on tearing each other apart!

This, That and The Other Thing

The camera goes backstage to where we find Intern Avery standing by on the interview set.

Intern Avery: LEGACY fans, my guest at this time is competing here tonight in what could be considered a verifiable “dream match” here tonight as he takes on Rocky Stellar in this second round of the Hawkins Memorial Tournament. Joining me now is none other than “The Outlaw” Greyson Blade.

The Outlaw steps into the camera shot, his hulking figure clad in a long-sleeved LEGACY t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black bandanna. He seems to simply tower over Avery as the roaring cheers of the Southern crowd invade the interview set audio.

Intern Avery: Greyson, last week you defeated ToV Champion Matthew Dawson to move on to this semi-final round of the Hawkins Memorial Tournament, but you were also viciously attacked by the “ninja” that has been plaguing LEGACY these past months, and mocked and challenged by Stephen Rawlings, who basically said there was no way you could face him in the tournament finals. Now, you have to deal with a veritable legend of his industry, Rocky Stellar. How are you planning on dealing with this three-headed monster here tonight?

The Outlaw: It is going to be a hell of a challenging night for me here tonight. You never know what’s going to happen if you threaten Stephen Rawlings’ comfort zone, let alone if that coward ninja is going to show up again – on top of the challenge of stepping into the ring with Rocky Stellar, but you know what Avery? I live for a challenge. I live to overcome the odds, and to prove the doubters wrong, to prove that I am the very best that this industry has to offer.

There is a confident intensity in The Outlaw’s voice as he looks from the camera down to Avery.

The Outlaw: Part of being the best, is to not take crap from anyone, especially some coward in black. Next time we meet up it’s going to be a much different outcome than what happened last Strife, however, if the ninja still wants to keep sticking his nose in my business and somehow costs me this tournament? He will then have my full, undivided, violent attention.

The Outlaw seems to be almost able to visualize the beating he’s going to give that man in black.

The Outlaw: However, that’s a worst case scenario for me and for him. I still plan on winning the Hawkins Tournament, and the way I see it, the best way to deal with that arrogant punk Rawlings, is to put some heat on him, by going out there and beating Rocky Stellar in the middle of that ring. It's going to be a hell of a match, but when I defeat Stellar I will not only have come out victorious in a battle of legends, but I will be guaranteed a trip to DFG and the tournament finals. If Rawlings manages to get past Dan Stein, then he and I will have our day of reckoning. The very best way to start working on defeating this three-headed monster, as you put it, is to take care of business tonight and cut off one of the heads.

Case closed.

With that The Outlaw takes his leave to get ready for his match.

Past, Present and Future

As Matthew Dawson rounds the corner, heading for the catering area, he's quickly met with something being tossed in his direction. With swift hands, the Tao of Valor champion reaches out and catches it, looking down to find a bottle of Perrier water in his grasp. Looking up, Dawson sees Gryffin Anselm walking in his direction.

Gryffin Anselm: Heck of an effort there to try to get yourself into the Hawkins Memorial last week. I thought you were supposed to be the type of guy who steps up and is atop his game when the lights are bright in the main event? Or are you going to make an excuse just because it was Greyson Blade?

As Anselm finishes speaking, The Highlight of the Night opens the water bottle and holds of a finger, putting Anselm on "hold" while he takes care of his "pressing" thirst.

HOTN: Now that's better, so where were we? We were discussing how last Strife I went out there and beat a former champion, and then after doing that I nearly knocked off The Outlaw himself. I went out there and put on not one but two main event worthy performances, when right now you wouldn't know about putting on even one that was adequate. If this was Gryffin Anselm, pioneer of the No Limits division talking to me, I might take note. I might even pay attention to Gryffin Anselm, the man who carried one of the greatest tag teams in the history of this business. Yet, all I see before me is the guy who was last seen riding Moreno's coattails into a buzzsaw named Entragian and got put on the shelf.

Anselm: Riding his coattails? How about mentoring a young talent to accomplish something you're still only dreaming about doing. I got Justin Moreno to take his talents to their peak; he reached heights that most people never thought he could, and it was because of me. I wasn't riding his coattails, I was helping him reach his full potential.

HOTN: Look, why don't you stop wasting my time and go back to licking your wounds, and leave me to my meeting with Landon Savage. We have to discuss who is going to be my next challenger in my elite Championship reign.

Dawson turns with annoyance to take his leave, but Anselm's voice halts him.

Anselm: Why don't you make the meeting a short one and tell him you'll be fighting me at Destined For Greatness.

Dawson turns and looks at Anselm with a bit of incredulity.

Anselm: I'm medically cleared to get back into the ring, and adding a third championship to the LEGACY portion of my resume could be a lot of fun.

HOTN: You, challenge me for my belt? Haven't you been listening Anselm, I don't think you've ever been in my league, but even for you, it seems you are well past your prime. You don't deserve thi...

Anselm: Cut the crap, Dawson. You're just scared that maybe the guy you look up to - the guy who pioneered the No Limits division, the guy who was part of the greatest tag team our business has ever seen - is standing in front of you, reenergized and looking to take that strap from you. And don't worry, I'm not trying to add the four tokens to the deal. You can keep your guaranteed World championship match, that's not what I'm here for.

HOTN: Tell you what, you want a shot at this belt, then you have to put something on the line as well. If you challenge me, and I beat you, then you work for me... for us... as a part of the VIP.

Gryffin's eyes narrow.

HOTN: What do you say Anselm, do you have just a small faction of those No Limits guts left in you, or was I really right about you?

Considering the stipulation for a moment, Anselm crosses his arms over his chest and nods.

Anselm: Fine, you've got yourself a deal, Dawson. But just realize that if I do end up having to join VIP, that doesn't mean that I'm anyone's bitch.

Hawkins Memorial Tournament
Semi-Finals Match
Stephen Rawlings vs Dan Stein

Stein and Rawlings smirk at each other from across the ring as the opening bell begins the match. They circle once, then meet in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up. Rawlings strikes first with a quick armdrag takedown, but as they both come back up to their feet, Stein returns the favor with a Japanese armdrag. Rawlings rushes forward, intending a lariat, but Stein ducks. Rawlings follows through to the ropes, rebounding back towards Stein, who leapfrogs over him. Stein drops down and allows Rawlings to pass over him. As Rawlings returns a third time, both men attempt dropkicks, finding air and scrambling to their feet to prevent the other from gaining an advantage.

Alan Ducard: We're off to a quick start here, which should surprise no one.

Jimmy Yates: Indeed. Both of these guys are offensively minded wrestlers, and both have a fair amount of pride inside the ring.

Bryan Harris: Which is apparently more than you have here in the booth, considering that tie you're wearing.

Once again we see a traditional lock up, but this time it's Stein who takes the initiative, bringing Rawlings down to the mat with a drop toehold. He floats up and cinches in a side headlock, but is quickly rolled onto his shoulders for a pin attempt by Rawlings.

ONE!

TWO!

Alan Ducard: Quick pin attempt by Rawlings will serve as a reminder for Stein to keep sharp.

Stein shifts his momentum back over as Rawlings continues to try and work free of the headlock. Gradually both men find a vertical base again, and Rawlings is able to use a pair of forearms to the lower back to break Stein's grip and shove him into the ropes. As Stein comes back from the ropes, Rawlings rattles his jaw with a back elbow, sending Stein into a slumped position against the ropes. Rawlings takes advantage with a handful of hair and unloads a series of punches that forces Stein through the ropes and onto the apron. The referee steps in and forces a break in the action long enough to allow Stein to his feet, but Rawlings pushes him aside and moves towards him, only to be caught with a shoulder block through the ropes and snared in a sunset flip.

ONE!

TWO!

TH-

Jimmy Yates: This time it's Stein with the quick pin attempt that nearly catches Rawlings off guard.

Rawlings kicks out and backs up far enough to get some decent leverage on a stomp to the side of Stein's head, leaving him woozy and on one knee. Rawlings looks like he contemplates his next move for a split second, then steps around and locks a pair of underhooks in on Stein and takes him up and over with a butterfly suplex, then floats over for a pin attempt.

ONE!

TWO!

TH-

Jimmy Yates: Say what you will about these guys, but despite their occasionally surly personalities, both are extremely talented.

Bryan Harris: They remind me of...well, me..

Signs of frustration creep onto Rawlings' face as he pulls Stein off the mat and backs him into a corner to deliver a pair of backhand chops. He fires Stein diagonally across the ring, leaving him in the corner as he charges and leaps, connecting with a clothesline that leaves his own legs dangling through the top and middle ropes. He limbos through the ropes and immediately springs back in over the top rope, catching Stein with a bulldog and rolling him over for a pin, but with his own feet on the ropes for leverage.

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-

Alan Ducard: Rawlings' caught trying to take a shortcut there, but he didn't really seem concerned with hiding it from the referee.

Bryan Harris: He's just trying to get in Stein's head. He doesn't need to cheat to beat this guy...it's just more fun if he does.

Jimmy Yates: After a long stretch of hard luck, Stein has really bounced back here of late. Rawlings doesn't need to take him for granted.

The ref catches Rawling's feet on the ropes, prompting an argument between he and the referee. As they go back and forth, Stein attempts to collect himself and fires a punch into Rawling's midsection. Unfortunately for him, he's still too woozy for it to do any real damage, and simply returns Rawlings to the offensive. Rawlings' response to the punch is a boot to the chest that drops Stein from his kneeling position to flat on his back once again. Rawlings drops down and locks in a rear chinlock, cutting off the blood and air to Stein's brain, trying to further wear him down. As the ref checks Stein for consciousness, Rawlings again props his feet on the ropes for leverage.

As Stein fades quickly, the ref lifts his arm once, it drops.

Lifts his arm a second time, it drops.

Lifts his arm a third time, and notices Rawling's feet on the ropes. The referee forces a break, again agitating Rawlings. This time the argument isn't so brief, and we see Stein gaining his composure behind Rawlings as oxygen returns to his brain. He moves quietly behind Rawlings and rolls him up in a schoolboy pin.

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-

Rawlings just gets his shoulder up in time and pops back up to go after Stein, swinging at him with another lariat attempt, but again Stein ducks and lets Rawlings' own momentum turn him around and capitalizing with a side Russian legsweep, then floats over for a pinfall.

ONE!

TWO!

TH-

Jimmy Yates: Rawlings' attempt at breaking the rules almost cost him the match right there!

Bryan Harris: Yeah, but it also almost won him the match.

Alan Ducard: Again, he didn't really make an attempt to hide what he was doing, though. Almost like he doesn't care if he gets caught.

Stein is up before Rawlings and uses a big right hand to the jaw to keep him off balance before whipping him into the ropes and catching him with a sharp dropkick to the jaw. Stein bounds off the ropes himself, leaping high into the air to bring a knee down across the chest of Rawlings before tucking his head and rolling forward, popping back up into a sprint against the ropes and sliding into a basement dropkick against Rawlings' jaw that sends him rolling across the ring. Stein pulls Rawlings up to his feet and hooks him for a vertical suplex, and pauses just a moment before suddenly dropping down into a small package instead of the suplex.

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-

Jimmy Yates: So close! Brilliant strategy by Stein!

Rawlings manages to escape the pin, just barely, and as the two return to their feet, uses a thumb to the eye to slow down Stein. The referee admonishes him, but Rawlings is clearing cobwebs. He doesn't clear them fast enough as Stein moves in and uses an open handed slap across the face to stagger and embarrass Rawlings. He again hooks Rawlings in a vertical suplex position, and this time lifts him up and holds him in a delay. Rawlings realizes the danger he's in and begins frantically kicking his legs, reversing his weight and bringing himself back down to the mat. As soon as his feet touch the mat, though Stein delivers a short punch to his ribs and brings him right back up. This time, Rawlings simply rakes the eyes to free himself, and pulls Stein into the air, holding him for three or four beats, before dropping him straight down on his head with a brainbuster. As he rolls over for the pin, he uses a handfull of tights to get the extra leverage he thinks he needs.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Alan Ducard: He had the tights! And he raked his eyes before that, for crying out loud!

Bryan Harris: Hey, you guys complained that he wasn't trying to hide anything from the referee. Then when he DOES get away with it, you complain. You can't have it both ways.

Jimmy Yates: I don't think that's...you know what? Nevermind. Regardless, Stephen Rawlings picks up the win here and advances in the tournament.

Josephina Colbert: Your winner of the match as a result of a pinfall, Stephen Rawwwwwlings!

Spreading The Beauty

The scene shifts backstage to a dimly lit room, a low buzzing sound and heavy breathing. Standing there, blood still fresh on his chest and hands, is Kenji Yamada. His eyes firmly set on his blood stained hands. His opaque blue eyes never move, they just stare at the blood dripping from his hands. Entranced at the devastation that he had just orchestrated.

Kenji: Can you see it? Can you see what I have done?

His eyes slowly wander up.

Kenji: It was beautiful. Real beauty, in all of its hideous and malicious glory. The beauty that you all wanted to see from me since the moment I stepped foot in Legacy. The beauty that you crafted and that I now spread across Legacy until everything blessed...is beautiful like me.

Kenji slathers the blood on his hands all over his face. His head leaning back in a lustful manner as he smothers the blood all over himself.

Kenji: John...it started well before last week. Last week was just a demonstration, Garvin didn't touch you. That was me, John. But that was nothing compared to what's coming next. Tonight was just the beginning. Before you can be remolded, John, you must first be broken down...so that your true beauty can bloom. It started at Glimmer of Hope. When I saw them anoint you as a beloved child. When I watched them cheer you and put you on a pedestal. When I saw them give you everything they refused me...when I saw them...

Kenji smiles, awkwardly considering the amount of blood he's covered in, and his hands fall limp to his side. His eyes seem to glaze over.

Kenji: But that's okay now. It's okay. Because I will mend that wrong. I'll make you truly beautiful.

His glazed eyes stare forward.

Kenji: I'll make everyone beautiful.

Sweet Similarities

(We catch up with Laura Seton in the back. For obvious reasons, she is still in her wrestling attire. As we see her, she is seated atop a large crate in one of the hallways, giving a polite nod to the random crew members as they pass by. As her head turns to her right, we see she's noticed something of interest. The camera angle changes and we see the one known as Sunny Rayne. She is still in her gear as she approaches.)

Laura: Sunny!

(Sunny slows and looks to Laura.)

Laura: Sunny, what's up?

The One Known as Sunny: Uh..hello Ms..Ms. Laura. H-how are..you?

Laura: Outside of already running into Loco, I'm good.

(The two look at each other in silence.)

Laura: Sunny, come on over! Let's talk.

(Laura makes a motion for Sunny to come next to her. The one known as Sunny takes a few cautious steps forward.)

Laura: Have you ever had a time where you had a time where you're trying to come up with an idea on the spot, but you can't? So you go and do whatever and when you're listening to a favorite tune or watching a movie, you get that spark of an idea?

The One Known as Sunny: Like..a couple..you know..times.

Laura: I've just had that situation.

The One Known as Sunny: Oh yeah. The pick your..um..poison thing.

Laura: I went over a few names and about five minutes ago I came to a conclusion. There's a long line of people that would love to get their hands on Loco but.....(smiling) I'd like it to be you.

(Sunny's body language shows shock.)

The One Known as Sunny: M-m-me?? I-I..I don't know..uh..you know..and that.

Laura: Why not?

The One Known as Sunny: Me a-against L-l-loco?

Laura: Is that a problem?

The One Known as Sunny: I'm..I..you..uh..I just..ummerz.. got here.

Laura: Don't you want to make it big here?

The One Known as Sunny: Yah. Who..you know..doesn't? I want to be World Champ. But..like..I'm a rookie. I need to..you know..work my way up..and stuff. Like anyone else.

Laura: Of course, but this can be your chance. This can be your big break, kid!

The One Known as Sunny: Why don't you have G-greyson or C..CB? Someone accomplished..you know?

Laura: I heavily considered them. I gave consideration to Boyd Saunders and I even thought about Frank Garvin of all people-haha. In the end though, I decided I want to see what (poking Sunny) Sunny's got inside of her.

The One Known as Sunny: Loco's..like..not a nice guy. He..um..does whatever..yeah..he wants. With no care. Or concern.

Laura: I know.

The One Known as Sunny: I just don't think I can compete..you know..with him. Like..he's leaps and bounds ahead.

Laura: You were given a shot for a number one contendership to the TV title after just two matches and you won that one for crying out loud!

The One Known as Sunny: But he's a former champ and stuff. I don't think..

Laura: Sunny, come on! Don't be so down on yourself. I'd just like to see how you'd do against someone like him. Maybe you'll surprise everyone. You won't be the kid that can't speak straight-you'll be known as a true phenom. If you can take out Loco, that's a major step. Don't you want that opportunity?

(Sunny stands in silence while Laura awaits the answer. The silence becomes awkwardly long.)

Laura: Hey, Sunny?

The One Known as Sunny: I..he..it's just that..

Laura: Sunny, "yes" or "no." There's no wrong answer.

(A quick silence before Sunny nods.)

The One Known as Sunny: Otay.

(Laura's eyes light up and she gets a huge grin.)

Laura: You WILL!?

(Sunny nods.)

Laura: All right! (patting Sunny on the shoulder) That a girl!! I'll go let Smith know. I know you're nervous about this but trust me, you're going to be fine.

Hawkins Memorial Tournament
Semi-Final Match
Rocky Stellar vs Greyson Blade

Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen, our next Hawkins Tournament, semi-finals match features a collision of two industry legends as "The Stellar One" Rocky Stellar takes on "The Outlaw" Greyson Blade, and I for one am looking forward to this match.

Bryan Harris: Ducard, on paper this match looks like a dream match, something that could go either way, but I have to give it to Rocky Stellar hands down.

Jimmy Yates: Why? Because he's The Stellar One? Or because you won't admit it but you've always had a dislike for Blade and you always pick against him.

Bryan Harris: Come on Jimbo, you really think I'm just that shallow that I'd let my personal feelings cloud my professional judgment?

Jimmy Yates: You are kidding right?

Bryan Harris: Look, you do have two great wrestlers, two fighters from the tale of the tape are about as evenly matched in size, speed, and even experience as you can get, but Blade is carrying a lot of baggage right now. Rawlings eliminated him from Co-Op and has publicly challenged him that Blade cannot meet him in the finals. The Outlaw also has a "ninja" problem of sorts, and he can't be 100% focused on this match and be at 100% after being attacked. This is just a mountain that The Outlaw won't be climbing.

Jimmy Yates: I've learned to never underestimate what The Outlaw can do Bryan. When the stakes are this high you will get his best. Let's get to that match footage shall we?

***Start Match Footage***

The bell sounds and they begin to circle each other, like two bulls looking for the opening to charge. At six-foot-five and 285-290 pounds each these legendary veterans are evenly matched. They lock horns in a collar and elbow tie-up. Just as The Outlaw begins to take advantage, The Stellar One reverses and slips into the standing headlock. Blade tries to push him away, but Stellar wrenches on the hold and brings stalls Blade’s momentum. Rocky rears back and drives his fist into The Outlaw’s skull, not once, not twice, but three times and Blade staggers back to the ropes. Stellar closes in and sends The Outlaw off on the Irish whip, and on the return he goes for a big clothesline, but The Outlaw ducks, and as Stellar turns, Greyson goes low and scoops him off his feet and slams him down with a body slam! The crowd cheers as a shocked Stellar gets back up to his feet, but Blade is there once again to scoop him up and deliver a second body slam! The Stellar One rolls on impact for the ropes and slips to the outside to catch his bearings.

Rather than play the cat and mouse game, The Outlaw stays inside the ring, and gives Stellar room to get back inside, and the two look to tie-up once more, although this time Stellar spins out and immediately goes to multiple kicks to the midsection before tossing The Outlaw off on the Irish whip. On the rebound, Stellar side steps and catches Greyson with a big back elbow to the jaw that knocks him down to the canvas. With Blade down, The Stellar One zeros in on his target and begins dropping a series of deliberate elbow drops down on The Outlaw. Greyson tries to push up to his feet, but he receives an assist from Rocky who rocks him with a right hand, and then hooks the arm and takes Blade up and over with the vertical suplex. On impact, Stellar floats over into the pin, but Blade manages to power out quickly before the count of two.

Stellar then meets Blade as he tries to stand with a vicious chop. A right hand and another chop give Stellar an opening, and he tries going for the atomic drop, but The Outlaw catches him with an elbow, knocking him away. Greyson immediately steps in then and hooks The Stellar One, taking him back up and over with a simple, but effective, belly to back suplex. Upon taking control, Greyson pulls Stellar up and sends him off on the Irish whip to the turnbuckles, and he meets him there with a big clothesline in the corner, and fans rise up with cheers knowing what's coming next as The Outlaw fires off his patented shoulders to the midsection, driving Stellar into the corner, hoping to wear him down. When The Outlaw is finished, Stellar begins to stagger out and that's when Greyson strikes, side stepping him, hooking him, and taking him up and over with his own version of an Angle slam! The Outlaw goes for the pin, but Stellar shows his mettle by kicking out at two.

As Stellar tries to get to his feet, Blade hammers him with a series of punches and a double axe handle blow that knocks Stellar back to a knee. The Outlaw then pulls him up and drops him face first on the top turnbuckle with the snake eyes. Stellar staggers out along the ropes and The Outlaw heads across the ring with a running start looking for a clothesline, but The Stellar One steps up and drops The Outlaw throat first across the top rope. Blade is stunned grabbing his throat and he walks right into a Stellar spinebuster! Popping back up he grabs The Outlaw's legs in a wishbone position and proceeds to stomp low, earning a warning from the official and a chorus of boos from the fans in the arena as Stellar turns to them with a finger to the temple, emphasizing that he's the legend in control of this match. The Stellar One then pulls The Outlaw up and delivers an atomic drop, and immediately follows with a HUGE Stellar-line that floors Greyson. Immediately Stellar hooks the leg, going for the pin, but somehow, The Outlaw finds the wherewithal to get a shoulder off the canvas.

Even though The Outlaw kicked out, The Stellar One is still in control. He quickly drops an elbow on The Outlaw's spine, stunning him and allowing Stellar to drop down into a chinlock, keeping Blade on the canvas and using his size and position advantage to wear down The Outlaw. Greyson struggles against the hold, digging down deep as the fans cheer him on in his quest to break the hold. Slowly but surely Blade works his way up from a seated position until he can fire off a series of elbows that encourage Stellar to break his grip. The Outlaw rocks Stellar with a huge right hand, and then sends Rocky off with the Irish whip. On the rebound The Outlaw ducks, looking for the back body drop, but Stellar pulls up short and knees him in the face. Blade pops back and turns, and Stellar is right there, and he latches on to Greyson, pulling him in position for a Stellar Drop! The Outlaw won't go along so easily, however, and he struggles and pushes up, and spins out and hooks Stellar and delivers an Outlaw version of a Rock Bottom!

Both men are down as the LEGACY fans begin cheering for the fighters to rise once more. They both begin to stagger up, but it's a neck-and-neck race and finally they collide, and this time out of a tie-up, The Outlaw delivers a devastating uppercut and follows quickly with a DDT! With Stellar down, The Outlaw begins eyeing the turnbuckles. The fans know what this means. The Outlaw is a ground-based fighter. He's not one to take to the air or take this kind of risk unless it is absolutely necessary. Blade climbs the buckles and he leaps off, hurtling his massive frame towards its target and he crashes into Stellar with a huge elbow drop from the top! The fans roar on impact and The Outlaw hooks the leg for one of the longest two counts you'll ever witness. Greyson looks at Stellar and shakes his head, before going right to the offensive. He tosses Stellar off and catches him on the rebound, looking for The Outlaw drop, but Stellar goes down the back. He tries hooking Blade for the Stellar Drop, but Blade spins out of yet another finisher, but as he turns, Stellar rakes the eyes! Blade is stunned and Stellar hooks him and hits the Stellar Plex! He has the leg hooked for the pin, and this one could be over as the fans jeer the potential Stellar victory. They wait as the official's hand falls once, twice, but not a third time The Outlaw manages to get his shoulder up with that hand mere inches from the canvas.

The Stellar One feels the frustration that Blade felt just moments ago, but he too will not be deterred. He pulls The Outlaw to his feet and scoops him and delivers a backbreaker before pulling The Outlaw up and sending him to the buckles. Stellar charges in with a big splash, and he begins to take Blade up the buckles, looking for a trademark superlex. Rocky climbs up with Blade, but The Outlaw still has some life in him and he hammers away at Stellar and finally sends him crashing to the canvas. The Outlaw manages to get his bearings, and as Stellar stands, The Outlaw explodes off the top buckle and drives his shoulder into The Stellar One with a top rope Killshot! The fans go crazy as The Outlaw quickly hooks the leg, and three counts later, he picks up a hard fought, huge victory to move on in the Hawkins Memorial Tournament.

Alan Ducard: It was a big win in this battle of the legends for The Outlaw as he moves on to face Stephen Rawlings in the HMT finals, but his night wasn't over.

Jimmy Yates: No it wasn't Alan, and I believe we have that footage right now for the fans at home.

***Start Post Match Footage***

The match is over and The Outlaw is finally taking his leave from the ring after a few moments of celebration with the fans. He heads up the rampway and disappears behind the LEGACY vision tron. However, he almost instantaneously reappears as he stumbles back to the top of the rampway and falls backwards. Appearing behind him is none other than the ninja who has plagued The Outlaw for weeks and is set on bringing the violence to him once more. The ninja springs into action with a kendo stick, taking a shot at Blade who rolls out of the way, avoiding the first shot, and a second! Finally, The Outlaw uses the ring barrier to start getting to his feet, and as the ninja charges him, Blade ducks out of the way, and then he unleashes, hammering the ninja with a series of lefts and rights, knocking him off his feet and sending him rolling down the rampway! The fans are going crazy as The Outlaw grabs the ninja and tosses him into the ring apron before sliding him in the ring. The ninja tries to fight back and stomp on him, but Blade is on an adrenaline rush and he fights through the blows to scoop and drive the ninja down with The Outlaw Drop. The Outlaw moves across the ring, stalking his assailant as the crowd rises up in anticipation for the Killshot. Just as The Outlaw charges however, the ninja has the presence about him to bail out of the ring, and that gives him just enough of a head start as he heads through the crowd into the arena, that there is no hope of Blade catch him. The Outlaw has won this round, and he stands staring daggers at the fleeing man in black.

***Return to the Studio***

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw got the better of that coward this time, and it was nice to see him get just a small taste of his own medicine.
Bryan Harris: Yeah, yeah, The Outlaw came out of this attack relatively unscathed Jimbo, but it was just one battle, and this is a war. This isn't over between them, and The Outlaw still has Rawlings on the horizon. This was just a small setback for whomever that is who is out to get The Outlaw. I'm sure there will be more attempts, and come DFG, The Outlaw may have nothing left. Rawlings already said Blade as old and slow - now he may be running on fumes.

A Minor Physicality

A loud buzzer sound suddenly reverberates over the Public Address system in three second intervals and the Jumbotron turns on showing a mock Emergency Broadcast System image on the screen with the name “Cronos Diamante” written diagonally on the image. After the fifth loud buzzer, an over the top serious voice of one Cronos Diamante comes across the speakers.

“Your regularly scheduled programming has been suspended. This is a test of the Emergency Cronos Diamante system.”

Jimmy Yates: This is getting absolutely ridiculous with him now. The Emergency Cronos Diamante system?

Bryan Harris: It’s brilliant!!!

Jimmy Yates: It's something, all right.

Five more loud buzzer sounds and the over serious sound of Cronos Diamante’s voice once again rings out this time as he’s walking out from the backstage area to a chorus of boos with a microphone held up to his lips, trying to hold back a grin.

Cronos Diamante: The Emergency Cronos Diamante system has concluded that the scheduled Legacy programming is in dire need of an appearance from…

Cronos drops his serious tone and replaces it with something more indicative of a man gone crazy.

Cronos Diamante: … ME! So here I am!

The Jumbotron turns off and the loud buzzer noise relinquishes and Cronos grins at the booing crowd and the cups of beer and soda being thrown at him. He points up to the Public Address speakers and grins.

Cronos Diamante: I’m still turned up higher than you slack-jawed idiots so have fun with your boos and your crying tomorrow when you’re whining about how your voice hurts just soooooooo badly.

Alan Ducard: He really has a way with people doesn’t he?

Jimmy Yates: What I think is fascinating, and I can’t believe I’m going to say this, is week after week he keeps turning the microphone up louder so the crowd CAN'T boo him out. Most men like him revel in the booing crowds.

Bryan Harris: He revels in it but like us all…we can only deal with idiots who don’t see the greatness in us for so long. I only wish I would have thought of it.

Jimmy and Alan look at Bryan and he makes a “what” motion as Cronos continues his walk down to the ring, talking as he does.

Cronos Diamante: Last week there was a severe lack of me on the show. I had this nice match in the Hawkins Tournament. Greyson Blade. Re-match in a couple ways. Woulda been great! Believe me. Why Greyson is allowed to fight for Hawkins I’ll never know though. He tore Hawkins up a while back. I haven’t been paying much attention to the show though so has Stellar kicked his teeth in yet? Well if he hasn’t yet I hope he does. I digress.

Jimmy Yates: He does love to ramble, doesn't he?

Cronos ascends the steel steps and slides into the ring running around with his hands held high like a “champion”.

Bryan Harris: That’s some eye of the tiger right there.

Jimmy Yates: No, Bry… that’s some insanity. He hasn’t even been paying attention to the show yet he wants to be on it? It's always me, me, me, me with him.

Alan doesn’t say anything but rather watches Cronos drop his hands and bring the mic back to his lips.

Cronos Diamante: Where was I?

Cronos scratches his head. The crowd laughs.

Cronos Diamante: Oh that’s right.

Cronos holds his finger high in the air.

Cronos Diamante: I wasn’t on the show last week. I gave Rob Belote the low down on why I was helping Marcus in the fashion I have been. That’s what I was supposed to give, right? Apparently F/X Network called and said something along the lines of “that psycho isn’t wrestling tonight and not in a tournament this big.” Can you believe that? I mean really… me? Psycho? No. Criminally Insane. YES! Oh yes, yes, yes…

Jimmy Yates: Not this again. Can we just get on with it?

Bryan Harris: Oh shut…

Alan Ducard: We are. He’s dropping his act. This comedic charade is over and he’s about to tell us why he’s really out here. It’s about time. I’m getting sick of his prattling on.

Jimmy and Bryan look over to Alan in complete shock as Cronos does, in fact, drop his charade and changes his tone of voice to that of a man seeking some form of revenge.

Cronos Diamante: I want my time back, F/X. And I’m going to get it tonight. You robbed me of my chance at a Hawkins Tournament chance. And Instead of being booked this show to make up for it, you just keep me off the show yet again for whatever reason you’ve come up with. So now… I’m going to make my own match. I’m making it right now. Legacy wrestlers… Listen up!!! Any one of you in the locker room listening right now that isn’t booked on this show or even if you are and want a piece of me, get your no-talent havin’ <Beep> out in this ring. RIGHT NOW!

Bryan Harris: I love it. Cronos just called all of Legacy a bunch of scubs.

Jimmy Yates: I don’t think anybody is crazy enough to take this challenge. You’d have to be…

Alan Ducard: Say that to him.

Lucien Gray, former AoD member and tag team partner of Mirage, has emerged from the locker room area with a microphone of his own.

Lucien Gray: You can shut up now, Cronos.

Cronos tilts his head to the side, sizing up Lucien.

Cronos Diamante: Nah. I don’t think I will.

Lucien Gray: I'm not a man of many words...

Lucien suddenly drops his mic and runs dead set for the ring, sliding under the bottom rope but he’s immediately met with vicious kicks to the back of the head. Cronos rips the man up to his feet by his hair and punches Lucien in the kidneys then whips him across the ring. Upon return Lucien manages to drive a shoulder into Cronos and knock him down. Lucien drops an elbow onto Cronos’ midsection quite quickly for a man of his size.

Jimmy Yates: Is this even a match if we have no referee out here?

Bryan Harris: No. And you can count on Cronos doing every dirty trick in the book he can do until a referee gets out here.

Alan Ducard: If a referee gets out here. I wouldn’t step one foot in that ring with those maniacs. Cronos is bad enough but Lucien is no boy scout.

Lucien pulls Cronos up to his feet and, as if having heard Bryan Harris, pokes at Lucien's one good eye through his mask. Cronos then waves his hand in front of Lucien’s face and with a flat palm lifts his head up and punches Lucien directly in the throat, knocking the monster to the ground.

Jimmy Yates: Ouch! That was absolutely brutal.

Alan Ducard: That’s an illegal move, isn’t it? You can’t throat punch somebody.

Bryan Harris: It's not even an official match...

Cronos kneels over the fallen Lucien and grabs the sides of his metal mask and bangs his head into the mat over and over and over again in a fit of rage. Cronos’ microphone being only a few feet from where they are broadcasts everything.

Cronos Diamante: I know Mirage actually cared about you, freak. Without you he was nothing...and without you, he didn't have the muscle to do whatever he wanted. Cute, really. A true 'odd' couple, you were.

Cronos lays an elbow into the side of Lucien’s head, then his jaw, then the back of his head. Blood begins to flow from the couple cuts he gave him with his fierce elbows. Cronos rolls out of the ring and reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair then slides back into the ring. He lays it against the far turnbuckle then turns back to Lucien who has groggily found his way to his feet.

Alan Ducard: I don’t think Cronos was expecting him to be back up when he entered the ring again.

Jimmy Yates: I don’t think so either. That blood is really starting to flow now. Lucien looks like a bloody mess.

Lucien, having cleared the cobwebs, charges Cronos and picks him up then rams him against the turnbuckle. Lucien lays a heavy right hand into Cronos and rocks him backward. Cronos jolts his body to the right as he’s coming forward again and Lucien misses with a vicious uppercut. Cronos quickly moves to Lucien’s left and grabs hold of Lucien’s arm, now with downward momentum, and falls flat on his back yanking on Lucien’s arm that results in a flip and a cracking sound in his shoulder.

Alan Ducard: Did you hear that? I think Cronos just broke something in Lucien’s arm.

Bryan Harris: That was sick! We’re seeing classic Diamante and it’s not even a real match.

Cronos gets up and looks at the steel chair but decides against it. Cronos stalks to Lucien’s position, picks him up and begins kicking at Lucien’s entire body. Cronos stiffly front kicks Lucien’s thigh, side kick to his left knee, side kick to his stomach, high left kick to his pectoral and ends with a jumping high kick to his right temple. Lucien lands to the mat hard.

Bryan Harris: Countdown to Extinction!

Cronos walks past Lucien laid out on his back looking up at the lights and kicks him hard on his left temple, completely disorienting the big man.

Jimmy Yates: He's going too far...this is just...cheap.

Bryan Harris: You said cheap once already, Jimbo. Don’t you have something else to say, like…this is AWESOME?!

Alan Ducard: And he’s not done. Unfortunately, this is a side effect of having been a member of the AoD for so long, and now that Lucien actually needs help, there is no one to help the big man. To think he was out here fighting for a guys honor that doesn't even care about him anymore...

Cronos rolled Lucien onto his stomach and pulled his hands up into a Full-Nelson then rolled backward into a camel clutch.

Bryan Harris: That's the Ne-Han. Cronos’ old finisher. He could keep Lucien in that move forever right now...someone better get out here already.

Jimmy Yates: This is sick. Even for a man like Lucien Gray. He may not be the perfect candidate for somebody to come wrestle Diamante but at least he came out here to stick up for his old partner.

Cronos yanks back even harder, yanking him into an almost impossible position. Cronos whispers.

Cronos Diamante: Maybe they'll call it an accident, Lucien, if something really bad were to happen to you. Right here. Right now. This is what happens when lackeys come out to grab the spotlight. I'll make an example of you. How about that?

Suddenly the Jumbotron flashes white and the lights dim.

The sound of a heartbeat over the Public Address system.

“Not vengeance”, in big red letters show on the Jumbotron.

The sound of another heart beat, and an image that Cronos remembers well burns onto the jumbotron with the sound.

“Punishment”.

Cronos immediately releases his hold on Lucien and gets up, walking to the near end of the ring, expecting someone to show himself. Instead, the arena lights are replaced by darkness and a strobe effect. Cronos stays fixated on the Jumbotron that keeps churning out the same repeated message of, “Not vengeance, Punishment.” The heartbeat effect gets louder and louder.

Alan Ducard: It's hard to see with the strobe, but someone is pulling Lucien out of the ring! Who the hell is that?

Jimmy Yates: Whoever it is, he’s entering the ring now and Cronos doesn't know it!

The strobe effect suddenly stops. Lights. The crowd lets out a huge pop as Cronos turns around and walks right into a right hand punch from Mirage. Cronos stumbles back to the ring ropes and Mirage follows it up with another right hand, rocking Cronos back and to the left. He’s hit with another right hand and another and another until Cronos falls into the turnbuckle.

Alan Ducard: Mirage has come to save his tag partner from the insane Cronos Diamante.

Bryan Harris: Save? Pfft. Mirage just walked down into a trap. Cronos wanted to lure him out.

Jimmy Yates: You're as insane as Cronos if you believe that, Bry. And listen to these fans...are they cheering?!

Mirage whips Cronos across the ring and into the other corner. The velocity at which he hit causes him to fall forward to one knee. Mirage follows in lifting his knee up into Cronos’ face. Cronos half catches it; however, and throws Mirage backwards. The damage done to Cronos causes him to slowly rise to his feet while the very fresh and unfaltering Mirage rises quickly to his feet. Mirage kicks Cronos in the right knee and Cronos goes down in a heap.

Bryan Harris: NO!

Jimmy Yates: Wow, that was a quick take down.

Alan Ducard: Mirage knows Cronos better than anyone. If there was any kind of weakness he had when they were tag teaming, he knows about it. And now the whole world knows about it.

Before Mirage has a chance to pick Cronos up again, Cronos rolls out of the ring and starts limping up the ramp, holding his knee. He looks up to Mirage whose adrenaline is at its peak right now and the two share a long stare down before Cronos breaks eye contact, turns his back and walks up the ramp.

Mirage grabs the mic Cronos left laying in the ring. Breathing heavily from the action and adrenaline, Mirage points down the rampway toward Cronos.

Mirage: Normally, I'm all business. You've known that for years. It's just business, I tell 'em, it justifies the things I do or have done. It's just business. I'm a businessman...and it's just business.

Mirage pauses a second.

Mirage: It's not just business anymore, Cronos.

Mirage drops the mic as Cronos walks out of sight. Stepping back, Mirage steps through the ropes and drops down the ringside, helping Lucien up.

Jimmy Yates: Imagine that. Mirage makes the save for Lucien Gray. I never thought I’d live to see the day.

Alan Ducard: I never thought I’d live to see the day Mirage gets a standing ovation either, but it is happening

Main Event Tag Team Match
Laura Seton & Crazy Boy vs
Profanity & Insanity (Loco Martinez & X-Calibur)

Alan Ducard: Our main event of the evening pits perhaps two of the most hated people in legacy right now, the tag team known as Profanity and Insanity against the team of Laura Seton and our new Legacy World Champion, Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith.

Bryan Harris: I still cannot get over the fact that CRAZY BOY of all people is the world champion. X-Calibur and Loco Martinez is going to show him that he does not belong in their league. And hopefully they will finish off his bimbo of a tag team partner as well.

Jimmy Yates: You know this isn't the first time that Laura and Crazy Boy have teamed up together. Sure, they aren't as experienced or anything teaming up like Loco and X-Calibur, but they shouldn't take them lightly.

Bryan Harris: Pfft, I'll take them as lightly as I want to. It will be a GLORIOUS day when Crazy Boy and Laura are permanently removed from Legacy.

Alan Ducard: *sigh* Let's just see how this match goes.

The action picks up right in the middle of the match where X-Calibur hitting Laura in the back, knocking her to the mat. X-Calibur smiles and picks up Laura by her hair and proceeds to give her a few punches, but she blocks them and counters them with her good wrist. As Eryk starts to reel back, you can hear the Legacy Champion, Crazy Boy, yelling and hyping up the crowd, trying to get Laura motivated, his arm extended for a tag. Laura sees this and rushes over and tags in Crazy Boy. Tyrone jumps over the ropes and stares down his adversary for Destined For Greatness, X-Calibur. Eryk stares at Tyrone and smirks, shaking his head as he walks over to Loco Martinez and tags him in. Loco steps into the ring as you can hear a light chorus of boos eminate in the arena as they wanted to see the inevitable meeting between champion and challenger.

Bryan Harris: Look at X-Calibur. He is a smart smart man. Not wanting to embarrass Crazy Boy tonight. He wants to wait at the biggest show
of the year to do that.

Alan Ducard: I'm not so sure about that, Bry. I think he might be chickening out.

Jimmy Yates: I don't know, Alan. X-Calibur isn't really one to chickenout. I can't believe I am saying this, but I think Bry might be
correct. He might be playing some mind games with Tyrone.

Loco and Tyrone circle each other in the ring before tying up in the middle in a test of strength. Just as Tyrone is about to overwhelm
Loco, Loco kicks Tyrone right in the gut, then irish whips Tyrone in the ropes and connects a spinning heel kick right in the jaw of the
champion. Tyrone hits the mat hard as Loco makes a quick pin on the champion.

One.

Kickout by Crazy Boy.

Alan Ducard: Crazy Boy is going to be feeling that in the morning. That was a wicked kick to the jaw.

Bryan Harris: It's only a matter of time before they expose Tyrone for what he really is, trust me.

Loco picks up Crazy Boy and kicks him in the gut, doubling Crazy Boy over. Loco bounces off the ropes and attempts a scissor kick, but
Tyrone gets up at the last possible moment and Loco goes flying past him and Crazy Boy counters with a version of the Edge-ecutioner. Crazy
Boy rolls back toward his side of the ring and tags in Laura. Laura climbs through the ropes, gingerly protecting her wrist as she charges
at Loco and takes him down with a Theaz Press. With her good wrist, she starts to punch Loco in the head, Loco getting his wrists up in a
defensive position. As Laura continues to pound away, Loco absorbs some of the pain and grabs Laura by her bad wrist and slings her off
of him. She yelps in pain and grabs her wrist as Loco goes and tags in his partner, X-Calibur.

Bryan Harris: Here comes the #1 contender, X-Calibur. About to show this wench that he is the boss of this ring.

Alan Ducard: Laura is moving a little gingerly in the ring, that's for sure. That wrist has got to be bothering her.

Jimmy Yates: She isn't able to do half of the offensive moves she is accustomed to because of it.

Before Laura can even recover from her aching wrist, Eryk grabs Laura by the waist and connects with a quick trap German suplex. The referee
is there to make a count.

One.

Two.

Laura kicks out at two.

Alan Ducard: Picture perfect suplex by X-Calibur. Time and time again he has shown that he is the master of suplexes.

Bryan Harris: He is going to suplex his way to the championship at Destined for Greatness.

Jimmy Yates: Why is it that you are dogging Crazy Boy like this, Bryan. Remember what you did at Glimmer of Hope...

Bryan Harris: I was in shock! I don't know what the hell I was thinking!

X-Calibur picks up Laura and does another quick snap suplex on her before turning around and stomping on the extremities of Laura Seton.
The chorus of boos start to rise as X-Calibur gloats to the crowd. That little bit of a distraction is enough for Laura to surprise X-Calibur with a rollup.

One.

Two.

Kickout by Eryk.

Alan Ducard: Gloating to the crowd almost cost X-Calibur. Laura almost surprised him there.

Bryan Harris: It's going to take more than a simple rollup to keep X-Calibur down for three seconds. He is too smart for that.

Jimmy Yates: Look at Laura. She has something on her mind.

X-Calibur is quick to get up with a little bit of shock on his face as Laura just smiles and tags in the World Champion. X-Cal smirks again
and goes to tag in Loco Martinez, but like a bottle of lightning, Crazy Boy darts through the ropes and grabs X-Calibur by the head and
runs him away from Loco, ramming his head in the opposite turnbuckle. The crowd cheers at the result as Crazy Boy performs some quick
strikes on his adversary in the corner and goes back in the middle of the ring to do a running dropkick, but Eryk rolls out of the ring to
recover.

Bryan Harris: Smart move, X! Take a breather. Get your strength back!

Jimmy Yates: Of course he is, Bryan! What else is he going to do, Chop and Wander?!

Alan Ducard: What in the world are you talking about with chopping and wandering, Jimmy?

Jimmy Yates: you know.... you know what, never mind.

As Eryk stumbles over to converse with Loco Martinez, Crazy Boy goes into a full fledged steam and bounces off the opposite ropes and charges across the ring, flying over the ropes in a beautiful manner, but X-Calibur notices his presence and moves out of the way just in time, Crazy Boy hitting the floor hard. Tyrone yelps out in agony as he clutches his chest and stomach region as X-Calibur picks up Crazy Boy and holds him in place as Loco jumps off the apron and sizes up Tyrone and nails him with a kick to the side of the head as Crazy Boy falls limp in Eryk's arms.

Alan Ducard: The daredevil antics of Crazy Boy cost him this time, and Profanity and Insanity are taking full advantage of the situation.

Bryan Harris: They are showing why they are not only two of the greatest World Champions Legacy has ever had, but by far are the best TAG TEAM Legacy has ever had.

Jimmy Yates: That is a bold statement, Bryan.

Bryan Harris: I call it like I see it.

X-Calibur rolls Tyrone into the ring and climbs over the ropes, looking down at the fallen champion as he makes a cover.

One.

Two.

Th--- Laura Seton breaks up the count.

Alan Ducard: And Laura is there to save the match.

Bryan Harris: Pfft, she is only delaying the inevitable.

X-Calibur looks up with evil intentions in his eyes as he gets up from the prone body of the champion and stares Laura down. Laura slowly backs up to her corner and climbs to the apron as X-Calibur tries to charge at her, but the referee holds him back. Eryk grumbles, trying to get past the referee, but it is enough for Tyrone to get up, holding the side of his head as he turns X-Calibur around and hits a picture perfect dropkick right in the chest of X-Calibur. Both of them are on the mat as Tyrone and Eryk struggle to get to their corners to get their respective partners in for tags.

X-Calibur gets to Loco first and before Tyrone can get to the extended hand of Laura Seton, Loco grabs Tyrone by the leg and pulls him back. Tyrone gets to his feet and hops a couple of times, trying to reach out to Laura, but just misses the fingertips and Loco drags Crazy Boy to the middle of the ring and grabs Crazy Boy's arm. LOCapitator attempt!

TYRONE DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY!

Tyrone connects with a One Armed DDT in the middle of the ring!

Alan Ducard: WHAT a counter by Crazy Boy! That is why he is the champion of Legacy! Such great ring awareness.

Bryan Harris: I must admit, I didn't expect that. Very few people have countered a LOCapitator attempt.

Jimmy Yates: Are you actually giving Tyrone a little bit of credit there, Bryan?

Bryan Harris: No, I'm not! I think he is still a tool! I'm just surprised he got away from the LOCapitator that's all!

Tyrone quickly turns around and jumps to his corner and tags in Laura. He motions to the crowd as they start to get antsy in anticipation as he motions for Laura to get on his shoulders. Laura looks a little uncertain as Crazy Boy nods his head and she obliges. She climbs to the top turnbuckle and gets on Crazy Boy's shoulders as he shouts something to her. Laura grins to herself as she waits for Loco to get to his feet as she balances herself on CB's shoulders and takes flight, getting some massive air, and connecting with a massive dropkick right in the center of Loco's chest. Loco hits the mat hard as Laura twinges in a bit of pain, but rushes over to pin Loco.

One.

Two.

Thre---- LOCO KICKS OUT!!!

Alan Ducard: That was a great double move by Crazy Cookies! I don't think I've quite seen anything like that in all my years of commentary.

Bryan Harris: But it still didn't keep Loco Martinez down.... wait, Crazy Cookies?! What kind of goofy name is that?

Alan Ducard: That is what that little girl was calling Crazy Boy and Laura's tag team name. I think it's an allright name, to be honest.

Jimmy Yates: Whatever floats their boat.

Laura hits the mat with her good wrist in frustration as she picks up Loco and slaps him in the chest. As she goes for another slap, Loco lets out a yell and grabs Laura and pushes her into Profanity and Insanity's corner and holds her there, while making a tag to X-Calibur. X-Calibur climbs into the ring as they both start to land punches on the face of Laura as the referee starts to count to 5 for Loco to get out of the ring. At the count of 4, he climbs to the apron as X-Calibur turns and taunts Tyrone and starts a corner offensive on Laura. Crazy Boy starts to climb into the ring, but the referee stops him as Eryk drags Laura to the middle of the ring and connects with a quick snap suplex.

X-Calibur picks up Laura and gives her a couple of good punches to the face as she yelps in pain. She tries to get some offense back, but X-Calibur has her in the middle of the ring, with nowhere to go. Eryk tries for an irish whip, but Laura counters it into the turnbuckle, where Loco is standing, climbs the turnbuckle and starts the mounted punches on X-Calibur. Behind his back, the referee notices a blind tag from Loco, but Laura doesn't notice. Loco climbs into the ring and pushes Laura out of the way and as X-calibur shakes the cobwebs out of his head, both members of Profanity and Insanity start to surround Laura.

Alan Ducard: This isn't good for Laura. I don't think she saw the blind tag either. She still thinks X-Calibur is the legal man.

Bryan Harris: She is about to get a rude awakening, that's for sure.

Jimmy Yates: I agree with Bryan again! This has to be some kind of record!

Like a flash of lightning, Crazy Boy has had enough and barrels through the ring and knocks X-Calibur back and clotheslines him out of
the ring. Eryk hits the ground hard as Crazy Boy climbs out of the ring and starts to stomp on the prone body of X-Calibur.

Alan Ducard: Look at Crazy Boy go! He is really taking it to X-Calibur outside the ring!

Bryan Harris: That's all good and all, but look at what's happening INSIDE the ring. That's what counts.

Jimmy Yates: Loco does have some evil intentions in his eyes.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Laura glances at the action going on outside, thinking X-Calibur is the legal man, when Loco Martinez grabs Laura by the bad wrist. Laura yells out in agony as Loco turns Laura around and kicks Laura right in the face with a LOCaptiator!!! Loco smirks and makes a pinfall.

Bryan Harris: LOCAPITATOR!!!

Alan Ducard: It's over..

Jimmy Yates: What the hell..

One.

Two.

Three.

The bell rings as Joshephina Colbert announces the winners of the match.

Josephina Colbert: The winners of this match.. Profanity and Insanity... X-Calibur and Loco Martineeeeeeeeez!!!

Meanwhile, back outside the ring, Crazy Boy and X-Calibur are going back and forth, trading blow for blow when Loco climbs out of the ring
and sneaks up behind the World Champion. Crazy Boy yells out a primal yell and grabs X-Caliburs head and rams in into the steel stairs and
while he tries to turn around, Loco is there to grab his arm and connect with a LOCapitator! Crazy Boy hits the floor like a sack of potatoes as X-Calibur again shakes the cobwebs out of his head and smirks at the fallen champion. He picks up Tyrone and grabs him by his neck, absorbing the boos from the crowd as he brings Tyrone down with an X-Terminator! Both members of Profanity and Insanity look at the carnage with glee as they start to back up toward the ramp as the boos continue through the crowd, with Profanity and Insanity loving every minute of it.

Bryan Harris: Profanity and Insanity showed Laura and Crazy chump who's boss of the ring. Look at them. Neither one of them are moving!

Alan Ducard: Indeed, they seem to have dismantled both Laura and the World Champion, after Profanity and Insanity double teamed and hit
their respective finishers on Crazy Boy.

Jimmy Yates: I wonder what's going through the mind of them two right now.

Bryan Harris: Nothing, it's lights out for both of them! Beddy bye time!

Alan Ducard: I guess only time will tell how Crazy Boy and Laura will respond to this. Indeed, if this happens again at Destined for Greatness, we could be looking at a new World Champion in X-Calibur.
