We open to a incredible holiday scene. Snow. Children run and play.
Every building is decorated nicely with white lights. We see carolers
on the street corner. We hear sleigh bells as a pair of horses pull
a sleigh dragging Santa Claus himself on the back. The sleigh pulls
to stop. Santa steps out with his sack of goodies. And as the sleigh
pulls away, Santa stands there and we hear the carolers. The soft bells
on the sleigh.
Santa: HO! HO! H-!
A giant black bus comes and in the blink of an eye Santa is gone. The opening of Cage the Elephants "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" erupts as we get a quick glimpse of a maniacal Issac Entragian at the wheel of the bus. His sharpened teeth glistening with sickening glee. The side of the bus is plastered with a huge Darkest Days logo, and the front plastered... with... well... Santa Claus.
The beautiful, serene Christmas scene degenerates into anarchy as the bus pulls to a skidding halt. The door of the bus opens and out through an ominous mist spilling from the bus, steps a collection of the worst of the worst of Legacy. Ledge and Davis. Followed by The Flying Avengers. Followed by Steven Rawlings. Followed by Chivalric. Followed by Loco Martinez and John Thomas Followed by Ethan Leers. Followed by Matthew Dawson. Followed by Mirage and Cronos. And finally Elizabeth Gaunt with the World Champion closely behind.
As these men go to spread their own twisted version of "Holiday Cheer", Issac goes to the front of the bus, and we see Santa's hat caught in a wind shield wiper. Issac cackles as he pulls it off the front of the bus and pulls the blood stained Santa's hat over his ivory dome as the lyrics kick in.
"I was walking down the street,
When out the corner of my eye"
A close of Elizabeth Gaunt as she makes her way into this Winter Wonderland. We notice she is wearing a black S&M inspired Santa's Little Helper outfit.
"I saw a pretty little thing approaching
me.
She said "I've never seen a man Who looks so all alone,
Could you use a little company?"
She walks past snow man being built by a few kids. She touches the snow man and it immediately turns to water. One of the kids runs off in tears.
"If you pay the right price. Your evening
will be nice,
And you can go and send me on my way."
We see Chivalric approaching a few Salvation Army workers standing outside a nicely decorate holiday Store front. As they ring their bells nervously, he approaches with a bottle of chloroform and a rag.
"I said "You're such a sweet young
thing
Why you do this to yourself? ... She looked at me and this is what she said:"
We see Stephen Rawlings following a few nuns who are collecting for a charity, endlessly badgering them.
"Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Money don't grow on trees."
We see Loco Martinez and John Thomas walking through a Christmas Tree farm. Axes in hands.
"I got bills to pay,
I got mouths to feed,
There ain't nothing in this world for free."
A quick montage of axe swings later and the trees are in pieces. Loco and John clink their axes together triumphantly.
"I know I can't slow down,
I can't hold back,
Though you know, I wish I could."
We cut to Mirage and Cronos running to a snowy football game being played by kids. Cronos intercepts a pass. Stiff arms a couple kids into the snow on his way to the endzone.
"No there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Until we close our eyes for good".
The Carolers continue to sing, looking around wide eyed at the chaos unfolding around them. They try to compose themselves...
"Not even fifteen minutes later
I'm still walking down the street,"
Ledge and Adam Davis walk by each pushing a high powered snow blower covering the carolers in a blast of snow.
"When I saw a shadow of a man creep out
of sight.
Then he walks up from behind"
Back to the Salvation Army workers, a hand darts from behind one. The hand holding a rag covers his mouth. The man slumps to the ground... Leaving Chivalric standing there.
"And puts a gun up to my head,
He made it clear he wasn't looking for a fight."
The other worker bolts. Chivalric looks at the bucket of money. He snatches is and walks off calmly.
"He said "Give me all you've got
I want your money not your life,
But if you try to make a move I won't think twice."
We se a huge black throne set up. Next to it a huge black Santa sack is teeming with creepy crawling awffulness: spiders, snakes, maggots.
"I said "You can have my cash But
first you know I got to ask
What made you want to live this kind of life?"
We see a line of children stretching a city block awaiting... we can assume, Santa Claus. We zoom into one little girl's hopeful face... which slowly drops as she sees Issac and Elizabeth walk by.
"He said "There ain't no rest for
the wicked,
Money don't grow on trees."
Issac takes seat on his throne and extends his arms out, inviting any child to step up and "sit on santa's lap". Cut back to the children in line. A unified scream from the group and the children flee!
"I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed,
There ain't nothing in this world for free."
We see a group of teens making nearly a dozen snowmen/women.
"I know I can't slow down,I can't hold
back,
Though you know, I wish I could."
Suddenly headlights are lit of a giant snowplow.
"No there ain't no rest for the wicked.
Until we close our eyes for good".
The Snowplow comes through mowing down the snowmen with ease. We see Loco Martinez giggling behind the wheel. John Thomas sitting next to him enjoying each satisfying "thump" of destroying a snowman.
"Now a couple hours passed
And I was sitting at my house,"
We get a shot of a lovely living Nativity.
"The day was winding down and coming to
an end. So I turned on the TV
And flipped it over to the news,
And what I saw I almost couldn't comprehend."
Ethan Leers approaches the Nativity, and reaches into the manger pulling out the baby doll that is laying inside, and proceeds to punt the thing. As the living nativity looks on in disgusted horror.
"I saw a preacher man in cuffs he'd taken
money from the church,
He's got this bank account with righteous dollar bills."
We see the child in swaddling clothes flying through the air. Directly towards Mirage, who calls for a "fair catch", and safely catches the babe in swaddling clothes.
"But even still I can't say much
Because I know we're all the same,
Oh yes we've all got to satisfy those thrills."
Back to the Nativity. The Stable that housed the living nativity is now ablaze. The members are trying to put the fire out. Leers walks out with a contented look on his face.
"Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Money don't grow on trees."
We see Rawlings jimmy open the door of the house, with an empty sack, and then Grinch style and reappears with the Santa sack filled with gifts.
"We got bills to pay,
We got mouths to feed,"
VIP follow him in, and come out with a huge Turkey Dinner, on a nice silver tray.
"There ain't nothing in this world for
free.
I know we can't slow down,"
We see the Darkest Days bus once again. The men who had paraded off it early in the video start getting back on the bus.
"We can't hold back,"
We do a sweeping shot over the Christmas village that has been utterly destroyed at the hands of LEGACY's villains.
"Though you know, we wish we could."
As the last of LEGACY's worst parade back onto the bus, We see Elizabeth Gaunt walk up the steps seductively sucking a candy cane.
"No there ain't no rest for the wicked,"
Finally Issac walks up the steps and takes his seat as the bus driver and cackles a maniacal "HO.... HO.... HO...."
"Until we close our eyes for good"
before we go to black with the Darkest Days
logo on out screen and the music fading out.

The show opens on a live shot of Alan Ducard, Bryan Harris and Jimmy Yates sitting behind the announce table at ringside area. Behind them are the excited Bostonian fans, cheering and waiting for things to get started. Alan Ducard: Good evening everyone and welcome to Boston for the Darkest Days pay per view! I've been looking forward to kicking off this pay per view ever since the pre-show ended... Jimmy Yates: I know what you mean, seems like it's been a week or more, but it's only been 48 hours... Bryan Harris: A lot can happen in 48 hours... ask Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte. Alan Ducard: As always, I'm your host for the evening, Alan Ducard, alongside my fellow co-hosts Jimmy Yates and Bryan Harris. Tonight, this event is being sponsored by one of the more prevalent companies up here in New England - Dunkin Donuts.
Jimmy Yates: Tonight, we have eight great matches lined up for you, with four of the five championships on the line - with the fifth champion actually CHALLENGING for the Tao of Valor Championship. Bryan Harris: We could spend time introducing all 4 title matches and the other 4 matches, but chances are that if you tuned in tonight and paid your money, you either know what's coming or you're alright with being surprised. You plunked down your money, so just sit back and enjoy the ride. Besides, eight matches? Let's give them as much time as possible.
Alan Ducard: We're about to head to the ring for our first bout of the evening. Loco Martinez has been on a mission to eliminate those he deems "undeserving" of the spotlight. At our last Pay Per View he set his eyes on and seemingly eliminated Herbert J. Moxley. Bryan Harris: Good riddance! Alan Ducard: Since coming off of that win, he turned his attentions towards Laura Seton. Will the WNBA Olympian be able to stop Loco from his mission? Jimmy Yates: She's going to have her work cut out for her, Al. Loco is focused, and is on a mission. I think Laura's up for the challenge. Bryan Harris: Awww.. Al? Our little Jimmy has a crush! An awkward silence is broken by “Whatever Gets You Through Today” by The Radio. Crowd jumps to their feet excited for the first contest. Jimmy Yates: The music for our first competitor has sounded and these fans are already on their feet! No doubt this is going to be a terrific audience tonight. Alan Ducard: There's no denying that. And the first person they get to see is as fan-friendly as they come. On the Legacy Vision Jumbo-Tron we pan up from the shins of obviously female legs, passing by dark red shorts, a white jersey with red paneling and trim with “34” on it, stopping at a lowered brown-haired head. “Someone said today...” The head raises, a warm, friendly smile upon it—the face easily recognizable by view, but even if you didn't know whom this lady was, you would by the raining down of letters to the right of this figure, reading “LAURA SETON.” “There's no other way of playing...” Out from the back, wearing a red set of tearaway pants and matching tearaway shirt with red hightop-style wrestling boots is Laura Seton, causing the crowd to have the first of what will surely be many more eruptions. To her right, in the official black LEGACY t-shirt with “LEGACY” on the front in gold, along with black shorts and black flip-flops and her hair down is her tanned sister Madison. The two take a few steps forward before Laura crouches down, taps her hands on the metal a couple times and at the end of the word “playing,” explodes upwards. Streams of pyro shoot upwards behind them, first red, then white, then blue, then a shot with all three colors mixed together as the ex-ToV champ nods in time with each firing. Laura stands back up and looks to the left, then right with a smile before heading for the ring with Maddie in tow. Josephina Colbert: Introducing first.... accompanied to the ring by her sister Madison... from Oshkosh, Wisconsin.... she weighs 175 pounds.... LAURAAAAAA....SEE-TONNNNN!! Bryan Harris: I see she's already dressing the part. Jimmy Yates: I don't understand. Bryan Harris: She looks like a walking bloodstain right now, which is exactly what she's going to be in about 15-20 minutes. If Loco toys with her that long, that is. Alan Ducard: You're that sure Loco's going to win, eh? Bryan Harris: Laura's had her moment in the sun. I'll admit she's done well for herself, but this is Loco Martinez she's facing. THIS...is a different story. “All the time we've had for life...” Reaching the end of the ramp, Laura directs Madison to head in to the ring, which she does. Laura hops off the raised entryway and hearing the cheering fans and seeing their outstretched hands, she jumps down and begins giving high 5's and a very, very quick hug or two before turning back to the ring and diving in under the bottom rope. She rushes to the center of the ring where Madison stands and holds up her hands in a style of boxing pads. In an obviously choreographed bit, Madison throws a quick right and left cross to Laura's hands before trying a mean right hook at Laura's head. Laura ducks the last 'punch' and fires back with a right uppercut that just barely touches Madison's chin, yet Madison tumbles to the mat as if KO'ed. Laura then stands straight up before arching back, stretching her arms to the sides as far as possible, leaning her head back a bit as well while holding a big smile—a pose that seems to say “I am all that is woman!” She holds the pose for a few seconds as camera bulbs flash all over the arena. Bryan Harris: THAT'S the kind of person people like?? She just knocked out her sister! Jimmy Yates: It was in play, you fool. Just sisterly horsing around. Bryan Harris: The kind of sisterly horsing... Alan Ducard: Please don't Bryan. It's way too early. Bryan Harris: Regardless, Madison could be seriously hurt and these idiots here are playing to Laura and not caring. “Whatever gets you through today...” Laura heads over to a corner and hopping on the second rope, holding her arms in the shape of an “L” as fans cheer loude and more cameras flash as Madison kips up. Alan Ducard: There, you happy? She's fine. Bryan Harris: Thank goodness! Jimmy Yates: How could you even think Laura would hurt her sister? “Whatever gets you through today...” Laura rushes to the diagonal corner and goes through the same motions, doing so for the next two repeating “Whatever gets you through today...” lines, as Madison holds still in the middle of the ring, taking the atmosphere in. Bryan Harris: I just figured Laura would be so upset over Loco's recent actions. Jimmy Yates: Yes, she can get uptight at times, but before that opening bell sounds she is quite possibly the most polite person I have ever met in my life. She's a terrific role model and is great with the fans. Loco's been taking potshots and poking fun about Ms. Seton literally all year so I won't deny she's extremely upset at him, especially since he cost her the Tao of Valor belt. Alan Ducard: She's shown she isn't one to back down from a challenge and like at Destined For Greatness, she has Madison here for support so you can imagine she'll have an extra bit of feistiness in her, not wanting to lose in front of her sister. Bryan Harris: What'd be wrong with that? She's already losing to her sister outright. She just lost her school scoring record to Madison—although I'm sure there's a different scoring record that I'm sure Madison will never be able reach. Jimmy Yates: Stop! Bryan Harris: Between Laura and Maddie, I'm sure Madison's been on top be... Jimmy Yates: STOP!! Bryan Harris: I was going to say that Madison's been on top before in, say, junior high school or maybe something like rebounding. You have such a dirty mind. Shame on you, Jimbo. Alan Ducard: If you think he's bad now about her, wait until March. Jimmy Yates: What? Oh....18. Alan Ducard: Exactly. As Laura gets down from the rope in her 'home corner' she quickly tears away her pants and top to reveal red shorts and a white jersey-style top with red paneling and red trim with “15” on it, a replica of the uniform she wore in high school. She ties her hair in a ponytail and then takes a hairtie from her shorts and wraps it around her scalp before kneeling in the corner and crossing herself and having a short prayer as Madison heads over. She crosses herself at prayer's end, balls up that hand to a fist, kisses the fist and then stands up. She has a very quick point with both hands to the sky before turning towards Madison, giving her a couple words and a quick kiss on the forehead before slapping her on the back. Madison climbs out of the ring and, like Laura, turns her head to await the arrival of Loco Martinez. The music stops. Lights drop out, some boos begin to reign down. But are quickly silenced by the drum cadence from a collegiate drumline. Side by side, walks out members of the Saint Joe's Marching band. We cut to Madison who lets out a chuckle seeing the St. Joe's Hawk on their band uniform. Member by member get to the front of the elevated ramp and peel off to the side. We now start seeing other instruments making their way out. Trumpets, trombones, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and 2 tubas. So there are roughly 20 members of the Saint Joe's band on the stage. The drumming stops, a conductor walks out, about half way down the ramp, raises his arms and the band launches into "When the Hawks Go Flying In" Alan Ducard: I'm being told from the back that this is the Saint Joe's Hawks fight song. Jimmy Yates: Isn't this some sort of recruiting violation since Madison is a prized Joe's recruit? Bryan Harris: Not a chance. She's a fan at a show. And Loco ALWAYS puts on a show. A group of men wearing St. Joe's basketball warmups run from back stage. We recognize two of the men, Arch Angel and T.Rex as they bounce around and chest bump in a pre game "hype yourself up" kind of way. Another man walks out from the back, holding a microphone, and the Fight Song is abruptly cut off. Its Matt Cord, Philadelphia 76ers PA announcer and local Philly DJ. He's dressed in a nice tux. Matt Cord: And now tonight's starting lineup. A... 6 foot showstopper from Saint Joe's University. A 2 time World Champion. THE Legacy Superstar.... LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL-OCO .... MMMMMMAR. TIIIIIIIIIIIIII NEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ!!!! The band begins to play a rendition of the Von Bondie's "C'mon C'mon" as Loco bounds from the back wearing a St. Joe's warmup. Maroon sweat band wrapped around his head. He jumps and shoulder bumps Arch Angel. Then T.Rex. He bobs toward the ring, briefly stopping and giving the conductor of the band a high five, and turning himself, to conduct for a few moments. Bryan Harris: He really CAN do it all! Loco then gets to the apron, and rips off his tearaways showing his typical baggy black vinyl attire, yellow boots. He unzips his warmup jacket and we see he's wearing a white St. Joe's Women's basketball jersey. He turns and on the back is #45 with the name "Seton" on it. Laura looks lividly at Loco wearing, what he hopes to be, Madison's jersey. We see Madison giggling at this on the outside. Jimmy Yates: Some headgames from Loco Martinez. Trying to get under
the skin of Laura, and... it looks like its working. Alan Ducard: Thesz Press! And look at those fists of fury! Bryan Harris: I'd call that a Lez Press... get it cuz she plays in the W- Alan Ducard: Stop. Laura is absolutely pummelling Loco. In a sight that is straight out of "A Christmas Story" when Ralphie destroys Scott Fargus. Rights. Lefts. Hammer fists. Laura is throwing fists uncontrollably, and uttering a never ending strain of profanities and insults at Martinez. The crowd roars its approval as she continues the onslaught. Loco finally regains his bearings and is able to pop his hips to the left, and shrug Laura off. He stands up and we see blood trickling out of his right nostril. He takes the back of his right hand and wipes across his face. Jimmy Yates: Its like Ralphie and Scott Fargus are having a wrestling match. Alan Ducard: I can't remember seeing Laura this aggressive, before. She's really brawling in there to start! Bryan Harris: Its not lady like, what. so. EVER! And I hope Loco "shoots her eye out" for her jumping the bell there! The referee steps between the two combatants trying to maintain some semblence of order, but as Loco and Laura continue to circle and start to jaw jack he quickly realizes the effort is futile and calls for the bell. Laura again launches, still in a full rage, she leaps looking for a second Thesz Press, but Loco quickly launches himself and drops her with a dropkick. The crowd groans as Laura clutches her ribs. Loco quickly winds up and stomps down on her sternum. Follows that with a well placed knee to the ribcage, and then one more violent stomp to the sternum. Bryan Harris: No! Not the Chesticles, Loc! Jimmy Yates: God, you're helpless. Loco grabs Laura by the ponytail. He then reaches down, grabs the wrist, snaps her in and levels her with a clothesline. Loco drops down making a cocky lateral press. One... Tw-NO. Loco chuckles to himself knowingly. Bryan Harris: Loco's got it under control now. Loco brings Laura up. Whips her off the ropes. Goes for a clothesline, but she baseball slides under it. Gets to her feet quickly and nails a dropkick that sends Loco down to the mat, hard. Loco gets up quickly and Laura takes him over with a side headlock. While holding onto the headlock with her left arm she begins peppering right hands into Loco's forehead. Jimmy Yates: Loco still got it "under control" Bry? After about a dozen quick right hands. Laura gets to her feet. Bounces off the ropes, and nails a baseball slide dropkick into Loco's ribcage. She leaps to her feet again, bounces off the ropes and nails a running senton across Loco's torso. She then turns over and hooks a leg. One... two... Th-NO! Loco shoulders out. Laura gets to her feet, and grabs Loco by the head pulling him up to a vertical base. She goes to whip him, but he stops, not allowing her to pull him. She tries again. He blocks again. Loco then tries to bring a right boot up into Laura's midsection. But she sees it coming, and catches the leg. Loco bouncing on one leg decides to attempt an enzuguiri. He launches. Laura ducks, and Loco crashes down onto the mat on his stomach. Laura still holding onto his right leg. She quickly steps over and kneels on the back of Loco's head stretching him uncomfortably in a nasty looking single leg crab. The crowd roars their approval. Loco winces painfully looking for any kind of out. Laura leans back with all her might. She shrieks an "ASK HIM" at the referee who asks Loco if he quits. Loco shakes his head no and through gritted teeth begins to inch his way towards the ropes. Bryan Harris: Probably the only time having a woman on top would be classified as a bad thing. Loco continues to pull himself towards the bottom rope. He reaches and drapes two fingers across the bottom rope. The referee sees this and immediately starts the five count to break the hold. Only Laura isn't breaking right away. two... Three... Four.. and Laura finally breaks the hold. Throwing down Loco's leg with disdain. She gets ups, and Loco quickly rolls out of the ring. He shakes out his right leg. Testing in on the ground. He eyeballs Madison, looks at Laura and begins to slither his way towards the younger Seton. Maddie's eyes widen not really sure what to make of Loco walking towards her. Laura sees this and immediately runs and slides out of the ring and gets between the advancing Loco and her little sister. She stares sternly and shakes her head "No". Loco chuckles and rolls his eyes, and mouths "She's a big girl. You have to let her be her own person". This sets Laura off, and its exactly what Loco wants. As Laura runs towards him, he drops down quickly and takes her down with a drop toehold. Laura's head bounces off the mat with authority. The crowd gasps empathetically. Loco jumps to his feet and points to his head cockily. Bryan Harris: That's right he's a thinking's man wrestler. Jimmy Yates: Yeah he preyed on an older sister's protective feelings... Bryan Harris: He's been nothing but kind and warm to Madison. Hasn't done anything inappropriate. A pure gentlemen. Laura needs to let go. Loco grabs Laura and slams her down onto the ground with a body slam. He picks her up over his shoulder, and runs driving her spine first into the ring apron. He leaves her leaning against that apron and begins to drive series of kicks into her ribcage. Loco than grabs her by the back of the head, and takes a running start and drives Laura's head into the ring post with a sickening "THWACK". Laura falls to the mat in a heap. Loco looks at his handiwork and licks his lips. As Laura rolls over we notice red on her forehead. People in the front row gasp in shock. Loco sees the blood starting to flow and even his eyes widen. We cut to Maddie who notices the blood and we read her lips as she says "Oh Shit". The blood originating from up in her hairline has started to cover the right side of her face. Loco almost giggles as he quickly strikes with a vicious stomp to the area of the wound. He winds up, and drives another stomp down to the forehead. Then taking notice that the referee is up to seven, going on eight. He quickly grabs Laura and violently rolls her into the ring. He slides in. Laura has staggered to her feet, but Loco quickly runs in drops her with a nasty clothesline. He then quickly mounts Laura and begins raining stiff right hands down into that same area. The blood begins really flowing now. The crowd REALLY booing now. Bryan Harris: I've been waiting for years to say this... Laura is on the rag! Alan Ducard: BRYAN! Jimmy Yates: This is TOO MUCH! Bryan Harris: She wants to fight the big boys? Well? This is what you get. And these people are hypocrites, if Laura was bloodying Loco they'd be lapping it up with a SPOON! Loco brings Laura to her feet, and extends his hands skyward signifying his intentions to chokeslam Laura. He grabs her around the neck, and hoists her. He holds for a second, but Laura kicks her leg to the right, right into the already tender ribs of Loco. He doubles over, and she quickly grabs him and plants him with a nasty DDT. She shoots a half nelson, and makes a cover. One.... Two.... THREE-NO! Loco just gets a shoulder up. Laura just notices that the ref's hand hit the mat a third time. She jumps up thinking she won, but the referee is waving her off and holding up 2 fingers. Laura is absolutely beside her self with rage. She gets in the referee, and pokes him in the chest arguing that she got the 3 count. The referee shakes his head "no" and holds up two fingers. We hear Laura shriek, "Bullshit"! She continues to berate the referee, and doesn't notice Loco has gotten up. Madison jumps up on the apron, and yells "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!" Laura whips around and glares at her sister, who points behind Laura. Laura turns, and is absolutely crushed by a running cross body by Loco Martinez. Loco stays on top, hooks a leg. One... Two... THREE-NONONO!! Laura just gets a shoulder up. Its Loco's turn to shoot a glare at the referee, but he doesn't do any more griping past a lone "C'mon, Ref!" He gets up and drives a knee into Laura's forehead. He gets up. Drops another knee. Gets up. One more knee. Laura's face almost completely covered in blood, now. Loco looks at his tights and sees blood on it. He makes a disgusted face and walks to the corner, and rubs his knee all over the middle turnbuckle. Cleaning it off. Madison looks at her blood soaked sister and up at Loco and jumps up on the apron. Loco shoots her an confused look and the two begin exchanging some words. Alan Ducard: I don't think this is a good idea by the younger Seton. If she thinks cuz she and Loco have had some friendly interactions, he's above "taking her out"? I think she's giving the former world champion, too much credit. Loco smirks and shakes his head and goes to turn around, and is met with a spinning heel kick that sends Loco out over the top rope and crashing to the floor. The crowd roars and jumps to their feet as Laura grabs the top rope and shakes it. Bryan Harris: The Ultimate Laur-ior. Loco gets up groggily, and Laura, still holding that top rope slingshots herself over the top rope and nails Loco with a cross body. Both competitors crashing to the ground. As the crowd roars their approval. Laura gets up and begins stomping on Loco's torso. She reaches down, grabs him up to his feet, and whips him hard into barricade at ring side. She doesn't hesitate and follows him in, full speed leaping and driving both knees into Loco's chest with violent authority. Alan Ducard: Still working those ribs, and back. Laura falls back hard onto the mat, as Loco slumps down the floor, clutching at his ribs. Laura gets up. And again drags Loco up, and stands besides him and launches Loco back into the barricade with a side russian leg sweep. Also driving herself into the barricade. The barricade slides back with from the authority of the side russian leg sweep. The front row starts chanting "One More Time". Laura gets up slowly and looks at the referee who is up to "7" in his 10 count. She quickly rolls into the ring, and rolls back out, effectively restarting the count. Bryan Harris: Silly girl, probably could have won right there. Doesn't look like Loco would have gotten into the ring in 2 seconds as he's just starting to move! Jimmy Yates: She wants to finish this in the ring. She wants to pin or make Loco submit. Not win by count out. Laura waits until Loco is up to his feet and then takes a few quick steps burying a knee into his ribs. He doubles over with a grunt. She drops to a knee and delivers straight right hand into his midsection. She then hops up and leaps, dropping a leg across the back of Loco driving him to the mat. Bryan Harris: Shades of the late great Billy Gunn! Alan Ducard: He's not dead, mate. Jimmy Yates: GREAT?! Bryan Harris: He's not? Alan Ducard: No he's not. Jimmy Yates: Yeah neither of those adjectives work, Bry. The referee gets to six, and Laura again goes and rolls into the ring, she quickly rolls back to the apron, but stops there. Kips up. Takes few quick steps and launches a running elbow drop off the apron. Nailing Loco with authority. The crowd stands and roars. A "Lets Go SE-TON" Chant starts up. Laura gets up, a little slowly, after putting her own body at risk there. Loco rolls around on the floor writhing in pain, clutching at his ribcage. Laura pumps her fists and elicits another roar from the crowd. Loco slowly gets to his hands and knees and she runs and absolutely punts the hell out of his ribcage. Flipping Loco over with the force of the boot. Alan Ducard: Nasty! Laura reaches down and drags Loco to his feet, and pushes him to the apron, and assists in rolling him into the ring. She then slides in quickly and makes a cover. One... Two... Thre-NO! Loco puts a foot on the ropes. Laura again shoots a hard glare at the referee who points to Loco's yellow boot draped across the bottom rope. She looks and growls, slapping at the mat. She starts pacing and gestures for Loco to get to his feet. Loco struggles to get up, looking like he hasn't regained his bearings from the onslaught he received on the outside. He gets up, briefly and then falls back to knee, gasping. Alan Ducard: He looks like he's really struggling to catch his breath. Laura nods, almost cockily. Loco again works to his feet, and Laura quickly goes to lock in a full nelson. Jimmy Yates: Looking for Perfection! Loco suddenly snaps to life, before Laura can latch her hands. He ducks his head and spins into Laura, getting his head under her armpit. He launches back with a Northern Lights Suplex. He bridges. One... Two... Thre-NO! Laura shoulders out. Loco stays down taking this little bit of extra time to regain his breath. The crowd begins their slow clap, urging Laura to her feet. She stirs first, and gets to a knee. Loco rolls over and pushes himself up. The two lock eyes... each one burning with an intense hatred. As if they both receive simultaneous adrenaline rushes they pop to their feet and meet center ring throwing wild haymakers. Right hands pistoning as they throw down hockey fight style. Laura manages to block a Loco straight right hand, and lands a nice right cross. The crowd roars. She goes to follow up, Loco dodges back and hits a straight right jab. The crowd boos. Loco then drives a boot into Laura's midsection, and in true hockey fight fashion untucks her shirt and pulls it up over her head and starts driving upper cuts into her face, wildly. The crowd buries Loco with their verbal hatred. Loco leaves the shirt up over Laura's head, and as she's disoriented he walks past her and gives a sexist, and hard slap to her ass. She whirls and swings wildly, missing by a mile. Loco laughs. He does it again, and again Laura swings wildly, but this time Loco quickly moves. Grabs her in a reverse DDT position and plants her! He hooks a leg. One... Two... Thr-NO! Laura shoulders out. Loco goes to drag Laura up, her jersey finally coming down over her head. He whips her hard into the corner. He goes to follow her in with a clothesline, but she gets both knees up into Loco's chest. She then jumps to the middle rope, and as Loco staggers backwards launches off with a high impact missile dropkick. Loco's dropped. Laura scrambles for the cover... the crowd counts with the ref: One... Two... THRE- No Loco kicks out. The crowd lets out a disappointed groan. Laura gets back up, and heads to the top rope. She pumps her fist, getting the crowd riled up. They start stomping and clapping. Loco slowly attempts to get to his feet. Laura measuring every move he makes... waiting to pounce. Loco turns towards Madison who is watching on the outside. His eyes widen and he yells, "MADISON, DON'T!!!" Laura quickly snaps her head towards her little sister who looks shocked to suddenly be the focus of this intense contest. She holds her hands up innocently, but the distraction is just enough as Loco quickly runs and knocks Laura's feet out from the top rope, crotching her on the top turnbuckle. Loco gets up to the top rope, hooking Laura for a suplex. He launches back with all his might with a superplex! Loco crawls for the cover... one.... two.... th-NO! Alan Ducard: She still has a lot of fight! Loco shakes his head, disbelieving. He quickly snatches her up, and leaps grabbing her shoulders and driving his knees up into Laura's chest as he falls back onto the mat. Bryan Harris: Loconoclasm! That's all she wrote! Loco rolls Laura over. Lays his back across her, and brings a leg up with his left hand. One... Two... THREE! NO! Bryan Harris: Bullsh- Alan Ducard: HARRIS! Maintain your professionalism, man! The place comes unglued as the referee holds up an emphatic 2! Loco for a brief second thinks he wins, but the referee informs him that the match will continue. Loco's eyes go wide with shock...followed by rage. He quickly turns an evil glare to Laura. He goes to drag her to her feet, and she drops down, rolling up Loco in the process. One... Two... THRE-NO! Loco just out in the nick of time. Loco gets up quickly. He brings Laura up by her wrist... looking to set up the Locapitator. He pulls her in violently, and launches his foot upward... NO one home. Laura ducks under. She lands a quick right hand. Follows it up with a nasty spleen damaging boot. She then quickly gets next to Loco. Starts to hook the full nelson, but Loco drives an elbow into her still bloody forehead. Alan Ducard: Loco's height advantage came into play there. This staggers Laura, but she comes right back at Loco she swings a wild right hand, but Loco ducks it. He grabs her wrist. Snaps her in. And kicks with all his might. Bryan Harris: LOCAPITATOR!!! LOCAPITATOR!! Laura is dropped. Loco puts both legs up on his shoulders and covers. One... Loco sees the referee not paying attention and puts both legs up on the second rope. Madison is hopping up and down, pointing on the outside. The crowd is booing, but the referee doesn't notice. Two... THREE!!! Loco puts his legs down quickly as the bell rings. Josephina Colbert: Your winner of this match... LOCO.... MARTINEZ!!!! Alan Ducard: Laura Seton came up just short tonight. But thanks to some shady goings on from Loco Martinez, she's leaving Darkest Days with a loss. Bryan Harris: Shady going's on? Jimmy Yates: The distraction. Using Madison. Using the middle ropes on that cover?! He cheated. Used any short cut he could come up with. He wanted to prove Laura Seton "didn't belong"... and while Loco Martinez may have won the match, he failed in what he set out to do. She didn't just hang. She was there move for move, and damn near had this thing won on a few occasions! We see Loco backing up the ramp, clutching as his still hurt ribs. As Madison slides into the ring with a towel and begins cleaning the blood off her sister's forehead and face. Laura turns and through a blood stained face shoots an icy glare at Loco Martinez, and seethes. Loco gives a sarcastic wave, before walking through the curtain.
A slow clapping beat with a single guitar line takes over. It’s a black screen with a man in the distance. Hanging from his hand is a mardi gras mask. Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” takes over as the man stands there, fists clinched. “You can run on for a long time” We see a clip of Jester Smiles swinging at Loco Martinez. The picture freezes right as Jester collides with Loco’s face. “Run on for a long time” Jester hits several punches on Issac Entragian in the Co-Op challenge, the picture freezing on the last punch. “Run on for a long time” Jester hits a three punch combo on TMB, the picture freezing on TMB falling to the ground. “Sooner or later God’ll cut you down” Jester knocks Stephen Rawlings flat with a punch, the picture freezing on Stephen lying on the ground. “Sooner or later God’ll cut you down” The music fades to the background. The scene fades into a locker room. Jester Smiles sits on a bench with his back to the camera. He is holding a green and purple mardi gras mask is facing the camera. Jester Smiles: Dark days indeed. It’s going to be a rough night. Jester snickers. Jester Smiles: But the sun will rise again. Hell, it’s the holidays. Things are bound to get better, right? Jester turns to the camera. You can see a big purple grin painted on his face. Jester Smiles: Oh yeah, I’m smiling about it now. Issac…you’ve been warned. “Sooner or later God’ll...” Jester standing triumphantly in the ring at the end of the Hawkins Memorial Tournament. “Cut you down.” Fade. Get Comfortable. Keep Your Hands Free.
Alan Ducard: The next match has been brewing since the Destined for Greatness pre-show, and now Kenji will try and avenge his loss. Bryan Harris:The question on everyones mind though is will we keep seeing the Kenji that tries to play it fair, or is tonight the night that the old Kenji seeps through and just rips Rawlings face off with his teeth. Jimmy Yates: While that is a visual I could of lived without it is a valid question. "ALIVE" by girugamesh hits the speakers and the crowd pops in anticipation of the upcoming match. Josephina Colbert: The following match is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit, introducing first from Kyoto, Japan weighing in at 210 lbs KENJI YAMADA! The lights suddenly fade and the beginning of “ALIVE” by girugamesh pumps over the crowd, the speedy lyrics start to flow over the crowd: Kizuna wo tsunage motto tsuyoku ima koko ni tsudoi Keep Alive (Tie our bonds tighter, now gather here and Keep Alive) Mamoru bekimonoha nani nanoka? Magire monaisono Precious Life (What should we protect? There’s no mistaking it’s that Precious life) As “ALIVE” continues, the Japanese word for “The Precious Life” shows up as Satoshi, lead singer of girugamesh, screams out PRECIOUS LIFE, the word fades in and out with three English words. TOUTOI INOCHI (The Precious Life)… SURVIVE… TOUTOI INOCHI (The Precious Life)… DESTROY… TOUTOI INOCHI (The Precious Life)… REBIRTH As soon as the heavy guitar booms into the song a wave of white pyros explode from the stage. The lights come back on with light smokescreen that is visible and through it Kenji Yamada can be seen walking down the ramp. He slides into the ring, and the ref checks Kenji for weapons. Then Kenji stands in the middle of the ring and stares towards the entrance awaiting his opponent. Josephina Colbert: His opponent, from Grand Rapids, Michigan weighing in at 195lbs, STEPHEN RAWLINGS! "Points of Authority" by Linkin Park starts to play and the crowd boos as Stephen Rawlings slowly saunters out from backstage. After stopping at the edge of the entrance walkway, he continues towards the ring. He stops about halfway and stares at Kenji. Jimmy Yates: I bet Rawlings knows he’s bit off more than he can chew here! Bryan Harris: Why’s that, because he’s already PROVEN he can beat Kenji? Come on, Jimbo… After shaking his head in disgust, Rawlings slowly continues his trek towards the ring. He steps through the ropes and the ref checks him for foriegn objects as well. Alan Ducard: I’d somehow be very shocked if Stephen Rawlings had an illegal implement hidden. He’s not averse to cheating, but weaponry is not quite his style. Bryan Harris: I wouldn’t BLAME him if he did! Kenji’s been known to use anything in the book, Rawlings needs to be able to protect himself! Joesphina gets out of the ring and goes back to her chair as the ref calls for the bell. Kenji immediately moves into action grabbing Rawlings by the wrist and whipping him into the ropes and following up with a knee to the gut sending Rawlings flipping over the mat, where Kenji follows up with a quick elbow drop and hooks the leg for a cover. One Two Kick out Jimmy Yates: Kenji not wasting any time going for the win trying to prove that he can beat Rawling by the rules. Bryan Harris: Kenji isn't going to beat Stephen that easily. Alan Ducard: He won't but every kick out expends extra energy and Kenji knows that and is looking to wear Rawlings down quickly. Kenji pulls Rawlings to his feet and whips him into the ropes again, but on the rebound Rawlings slides between Kenji's legs and then spins around and takes Kenji down before with a leg sweep before kipping up to his feet. Jimmy Yates: Impressive take down from Stephen in the early moments here as things are back and forth in the early moments. Bryan Harris: Kenji doesn't even know what hit him as he picks himself up from the mat. As Kenji gets to his feet Stephen grabs him and puls him up setting him up for a Russian leg sweep, but Kenji sends and elbow into his chest and a back forearm to the face before setting Rawlings up for a russian leg sweep of his own as he lands it he doesn't let go and rolls with it and locks in a fujiwar armbar. Kenji yanks up hard on the arm as the ref checks to see if Rawlings wants to give up. Alan Ducard: Kenji with a reversal showing off his submission skills, trying to prove to the world that he has more talents than swinging a chair and tossing people into barb wire. Bryan Harris: it's only a matter of time, the hardcore style lives inside of Kenji after the things he has done and had done to him he can't escape it. Kenji yanks back hard on the arm and the ref checks to see if Stephen is going to give up, but he is able to hook his ankle around the bottom rope and the ref tells Kenji to releases the hold which he reluctantly does. The ref motions for Kenji to back away as he checks on Rawling who says he wants to continue so the ref steps back. Kenji rushes at Rawlings who thinks quick and ducks down then comes up quickly throwing Kenji over his shoulder with a back body drop, but Kenji goes over the top roep and crashes to the outside. The ref slides out of the ring to check on Kenji while Stephen goes to an neutral corner and waits then turns around and starts fiddling with the turnbuckle. Jimmy Yates; We though Kenji would be the one going for the hardcore tactics, but it looks like Rawlings is removing that turnbuckle pad. Bryan Harris: He's not removing it he's fixing it. he was resting waiting for Kenji to get back in the ring and noticed it wa sloose so he is trying to fix it. Alan Ducard: I highly doubt it. Rawlings walks towards the center of the ring as Kenji slowly climbs back into the ring followed by the ref. Bryan Harris: See the turnbuckle is still there, you owe Mr. Rawlings an apology. Rawlings gives Kenji a stomp to the back as he enters the ring and then lifts him up for a vertical suplex, but Kenji slides down his back into a sunset flip for a pin. One Two kick out Kenji and Rawlings get to their feet and Kenji is about to whip Stephen into the turnbuckle, but he reverses it and sends Yamada chest first into the turnbuckle he was in earlier. Yamada hits chest first hard with a thud and when he falls backwards the turnbuckle pad goes with him and lands on his chest. Stephen is quick to point out to the ref that Kenji is holding the turnbuckle pad. Bryan Harris: Look at that with all your accusing of Mr. Rawlings of cheating earlier it was Kenji returning to his old ways. Jimmy Yates: Something seems fishy it looks like Kenji was set up and with the pad not on right the wind has been knocked out of Kenji. The ref takes the turnbuckle pad and turns his back to put it back on and secure it. Rawlings slips out of the ring and reaches over the guard rail and pushes a kid out of his chair and takes it and slides back into the ring. Alan Ducard: It looks like Stephen is ready to finish the job Bryan Harris: I think that fan said something about Stephen's mom and he was just getting some revenge by making him stand. Kenji gets to his feet and sees the chair and tenses up getting ready. Jimmy Yates: Kenji is ready this isn't his first rodeo, or chair fight. A wicked grin comes over Rawlings face as he slams the chair into the mat then tosses it at Kenji who instinctively catches it. The ref turns around just in time to see Rawlings crumble to the mat and then sees Kenji holding the chair and he looks over at the time keeper's table and calls for the bell. He rolls outs of the ring and says something to Josephina Colbert. Josephina Colbert: Your winner by disqualification, Stephen Rawlings. Kenji takes the chair and swings at Rawlings, but Rawlings quickly dropped to the mat and rolls out of the ring avoiding the blow and hops over the guard rail and is quickly high tailing it away from ringside. Meanwhile in the ring Kenji still has the chair in his hand and is pissed he lifts it into the air and starts walking towards the ref like he may strike him down with it before tossing the chair out of the ring, and rolling out of the ring and making his way to the back. Bryan Harris: That was classic: Kenji's hardcore ways come back to haunt him. he should of thought twice before grabbing that chair to use on Rawlings. Jimmy Yates: Kenji was just running on instincts and got caught by bad timing, but now he is just a little bit pissed off and I don't think we've seen the end of the Rawlings/ Yamada saga. Standing by with a microphone in hand and sort of half-hopping in place as if he has to go number one is none other than Intern Avery George. The camera zooms in on one of the metal push-open doors to the arena when Andrew speaks to himself not realizing the cameras are on.. Avery George: I really shouldn’t have drank those seven Capri Suns. What the hell was I thinking?! (Voice Behind Camera): They were free, dude. Gotta love catering. We’re rolling, by the way. Avery George: Oh sh- He stops himself, composing himself appropriately. Avery George: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here at the back entrance where I’m currently standing by for the long awaited arrival of X-Calibur. Word has it from my sources outside that X was last seen driving up to the arena in his rental mere minutes ago. Should be any second now that we see him. Hopefully anyway... I don’t know how much longer I can hold it... As if on cue, pulling open the door and waltzing through it with a Nike gym bag slung over his shoulder and a baseball cap worn backwards with a "TW" logo front and center is none other than X-Calibur. Looking much more fit and athletically toned than we’ve seen him in recent weeks, X-Calibur takes one step forward... and as his eyes happen upon the camera, he stops in his tracks. X-Calibur: Christ... Continuing forward, X-Calibur tries his best to ignore Andrew Kelly and the camera crew watching him. Avery George: X! I was wondering if I could- X-Calibur: F*** off, man. I don’t have time for questions. Hey, uhhhh, why are you hopping? You have to be somewhere? Undeterred, Andrew Kelly pushes. Avery George: But X, I’m just wondering- Enunciating his s’s, X-Calibur interrupts him. X-Calibur: Firssssst off... ssssssstop. Avery George: But- X-Calibur: What part of sssssssssstop don’t you underssssssssssstand? Avery winces at the enunciating of the s’s. Avery George: Uh- X-Calibur: I got a f***ing match, dude. Avery George: Well- X-Calibur: To get ready for? Avery George: Man- X-Calibur: Taur? Avery George: Wait a sec- X-Calibur: Why? Avery George: Hold up- X-Calibur: Nicholas Creed? Avery George: I’m confused... X-Calibur: That’s what I’m sayin’! Avery George: ... X-Calibur: I win. Avery George: What just happened? Pushing past Avery, X continues on towards the main entrance to the performers locker room area. Desperate for something from X, Avery sighs. Avery George: Throw me a frickin’ bone here, Eryk... I didn’t stand around for hours having to take a... having something to do for you to simply ignore me! Now tell me, why are you JUST showing up to the arena now? Darkest Days is already in progress and, actually, your match should be coming up in a few! What’s going on with you, man?! Why aren’t you with your partner Cade Sydal right now preparing for the tag team title match with the AOD? Are you... are you guys even on the same PAGE?! Stopping, X-Calibur turns around and smirks. He can sense the frustration mounting in Avery's voice, and he attacks it like a shark smelling blood in the water. X-Calibur: Sssssssssorry. Can’t ansssssswer that, sssssir. Avery George moans. Avery George: I hate you. Dropping the microphone, Avery George makes a run for what can only be assumed as the nearest men’s room. X-Calibur: Poor guy. X turns to the camera and shrugs. X-Calibur: When ya gotta go, ya gotta go... Walking past the camera, our view swings over towards X-Calibur marching towards the locker room entrance before eventually disappearing inside. Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen our next match is a tag team encounter that has been brewing ever since Patrick Kidd chose LEGACY to resume is in-ring career and was brutally attacked by VIP. Jimmy Yates: Kidd is looking for some payback, but it seems an equally large part of this equation is how he's going to interact with his partner, The Outlaw here tonight. These guys aren't just partners - they're friends -they're family, but ever since Kidd has come back to action - what's happened in the ring has led to a great deal of tension between the two of them. Bryan Harris: You're right is has Jimbo - and I'm not sure how much truth there is to any of the rumors going around of Kidd's jealousy of Blade or Blade not watching Kidd's back or being there for him - let alone being in league with VIP - but what I can say is that true or not these rumors and ideas are eroding the Family Values relationship, and if they can't get on the same page tonight ... VIP is going to do some serious damage here at Darkest Days. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen the next match will be a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall... BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! An array of silver pyro blast upwards and is immediately followed by Cage The Elephant's "In One Ear" crashing into the arena with its unique rock sound. The LEGACY Vision tron fills with just three letters "V.I.P." as the LEGACY faithful immediately begin to fill the arena with boos for the impending arrival of Nick Ledgerwood and Adam Davis. Josephina brings a mic to her lips, but before she can introduce the duo, her mic is cut off and a pre-recorded message comes over the top of the introductory theme. "THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY VIP. STRONGER. FASTER. BRIGHTER. WE'RE JUST BETTER. THANK US LATER." It is at that point that The Iceman and Ledge appear at the top of the elevated rampway, both with smug smiles on their faces, ready to soak in the hatred from the crowd. Davis even shakes his head, amused, mouthing the words "We're trying to help you idiots' to the camera focused on the ramp. Josephina Colbert: Introducing first, the team of Nick Ledgerwood and "The Iceman" Adam Davis ... here is V...I...P! With that introduction, Ledge and Davis head to the ring, but stop at the bottom of the rampway to point to a youngster's sign openly supporting Kidd and Blade - and they openly laugh and mock it, drawing the ire of the fans at ringside. Jimmy Yates: These two are just disgusting - no respect, no class. Bryan Harris: Well it's not as if the LEGACY fans are smart enough to get with the program - in the case of that young fan, I blame the parents for buying him that "Demand Respect" t-shirt and allowing Greyson Blade to be a hero to their child. Finally, after having their fill of mocking the fans, VIP enters the ring, and fall back to their corner, awaiting Kidd and Blade's arrival. Josephina Colbert: Now introducing their opponents... "Friends and Family" by Trik Turner hits the PA system and the fans rise up with a multitude of cheers. " You know I'm down Josephina Colbert: Here are Patrick Kidd and "The Outlaw" Greyson Blade ... FAMILY VALUES! It is at that point that The Outlaw steps out to the top of the elevated rampway with Kidd only a step behind. Patrick and Greyson stop for a moment take in the atmosphere of the arena - the cheers - the grandeur of the stage, but their eyes never leave VIP - and Blade especially has a focused look of concern on his face. "We bleed the same blood Alan Ducard: This crowd of Bostonians is really behind Family Values, now having their first match here tonight in LEGACY. Jimmy Yates: It's going to be a hec of a battle - we've seen Blade and Kidd struggling to stay on the same page - and I'm hoping that tonight they can realize they are in this together much as the lyrics to their theme music imply. Blade and Kidd reach the ring, and slide inside as their theme music fades out, and Blade eyes up VIP across the ring, and he seems ready to go, motioning for VIP to bring it. Alan Ducard: The Outlaw looks as if he's ready to start off this match, but Kidd isn't leaving the ring, making it known that he wants to be starting this match. Bryan Harris: Dissension in the ranks already? Jimmy Yates: Hardly Bryan - Ledge is starting things out for VIP, and I'm sure Kidd is just chomping at the bit to take another crack at him. Blade turns to Kidd and some quick, inaudible words pass between them, and finally Blade with hands raised as if to say "it's your call" steps through the ropes. Kidd stares down Ledge from across the ring, and finally the bell rings, and Kidd charges across the ring as if he were shot out of a canon and tackles Ledge to the canvas to a huge "early match pop" from the crowd. Alan Ducard: Patrick Kidd is laying in with lefts and rights, hammering then down into Ledge's face and head. Nick is covering up as best he can to weather the storm, but Kidd is showing now let up here. Jimmy Yates: I was not expecting this from Kidd - this type of offense, this type of aggression - you'd think you're seeing Greyson in there. Bryan Harris: Hey, I think the guy is still making a mockery of LEGACY in making this "comeback" but at least he's smart enough to know he's going to have to shake things up and adjust his style due to his career-threatening injuries. Kidd continues hammering away until he realizes the damage-for-the-effort trade off isn't favoring him now and dismounts quickly, only to quickly drive an elbow into Ledge's forehead to stun him. Kidd returns Ledge to a vertical base and he delivers a back elbow, and another, before coming off the ropes, and delivering a running "bionic" elbow to Ledge's forehead, knocking him back down to the canvas. The crowd loves this early match momentum and they cheer when Ledge drops, and then as Ledge tries to stand, Kidd charges in and hits a clothesline that takes Ledge over the top rope to the outside, getting another cheer from the crowd as Ledge hits the arena floor. Alan Ducard: It has been all Patrick Kidd here in the early going, and he's on fire and this crowd is really behind him in the early going. Jimmy Yates: You put someone with Kidd's history and charisma in there against the increasingly reviled VIP and it's no surprise to see this kind of response Alan. Bryan Harris: Yeah, yeah, the crowd might love him now, but he won't be giving them much to cheer about once VIP regroups here. Davis dropped off the apron to approach Ledge who gets back to his feet a hand on his forehead, and he has a few words for his partner as Ledge cautiously begins to get back into the ring as Kidd motions for him to "bring it". Ledge and Kidd circle around before locking up with the collar and elbow tie up. Ledge seems to take the advantage, but Kidd transitions into the side headlock. Ledge pushes Kidd off to the ropes, and Kidd comes back on the rebound, but Ledge catches him and takes him up and over with a belly-to-belly suplex! Kidd crashes into the canvas, and Ledge falls down to one knee with the effort. Alan Ducard: What a beautiful and impact suplex from Ledge! That maneuver may have turned the tide in this contest. Bryan Harris: Ledge is a hell of a fighter, and he is well-known for his suplex-styled offense – look for a few more of them here as he starts to wear down Patrick Kidd. Ledge gets back to a vertical base, and he stalks Kidd from behind, and he grabs Kidd in the full-nelson position and takes him over with a Dragon suplex into a pin. Alan Ducard: A quick suplex to a pin! ONE T-No! Not quite even a two count. Jimmy Yates: No way he was going to beat Kidd after just two suplexes. Bryan Harris: Finally we agree on something Jimbo, but it wasn’t about the pin, it was about making Kidd exert the effort to kick out. Alan Ducard: Ledge now following up that suplex with a kick to the head, and another, and another. He has Patrick down and he’s taking his shots. Patrick clutches at his head and neck to offer some protection, but Ledge isn’t picky and he takes a few shots to the spine and kidney area. Ledge pulling Kidd to his feet, hooking him, and he takes Kidd up and over with the vertical suplex! Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw is looking worried over in the corner after these multiple suplexes from Ledge. Bryan Harris: And why shouldn’t he be worried Jimbo? Yeah, Kidd put up a decent find in their match, but we can see Blade wasn’t out for blood – Ledge and Davis? They would love nothing more than to stop Kidd’s comeback tour right here at Darkest Days. Blade calls out to Kidd on the apron, reaching out, but just after Ledge delivers a stomp to Kidd’s face, he heads for the corner, and he cheap shots Blade, almost knocking him off the apron! The crowd jeers Ledge’s antics as Blade hits the ring to retaliate but is halted by the official. This distraction allows Davis to enter the ring – stepping up and hitting a big roundhouse kick to the back of Kidd’s head as he tries to stand, dropping him in the center of the ring. Alan Ducard: HUGE kick from The Iceman and now Kidd is down in the center of the ring! Ledge with the quick cover here! ONE TWO-BLADE BREAKS UP THE PIN! – No hesitation from The Outlaw who drives a boot down into Ledge’s face to break up the pin. Jimmy Yates: Blade made the right call there – Kidd might have some more fight in him, but Davis just blindsided Kidd with that kick. Bryan Harris: VIP is showing the ring savvy and teamwork here – and that’s what’s going to separate them from Family Values. Ledge rolls away from the broken pin, and he looks angrily to Greyson, before pulling Kidd to his feet, and whipping him hard, face first into a set of neutral turnbuckles. Kidd hits and rebounds towards Ledge who wraps him with the waistlock, and looks for the German suplex – however, Patrick blocks and moves to the rear position. He cinches Ledge’s arm, and he takes Ledge up and over with the belly-to-back suplex on the arm! The crowd roars as Kidd lands and pops back to his feet groggily! Alan Ducard: Kidd targeting that old arm injury here, and he’s up for Ledge again, and he hooks the arm for a jumping armbreaker! Both men are down on the canvas! Jimmy Yates: The crowd is rising up for Patrick – he needs to make the tag to Blade here! Bryan Harris: Ledge is looking to make the tag too Jimbo – a wise move to keep any injury to that arm in check, and if he can get there first, a fresh Iceman could put this match away! Ledge clutching his arm begins to head for his corner, as Patrick, clutching his neck begins heading for his. The Iceman’s eyes narrow on Blade as The Outlaw reaches out as far as he can hoping that few inches in reach advantage will make the difference. Finally, both man make that one last best effort and reach out making near simultaneous tags! Jimmy Yates: It's going to be close -but The Outlaw strikes first with huge punch that knocks Davis back and then a thunderous uppercut takes him off his feet! Ledge tries to get back into the action now, but The Outlaw catches him with a knee to the gut, and then tosses him back to his own corner! The Iceman is back to his feet, and The Outlaw charges and drives him back into the buckles, and here comes the shoulder charge barrage! Alan Ducard: The Outlaw is certainly on a roll James - those shoulder shots in the buckle are just like mini-Killshots. Each time Blade delivers one he's doing more and more to set up for his devastating finisher. Bryan Harris: Well he's going to have to be the one to end this Ducard - look at Kidd in the corner - he's still looking a bit out of it from VIP's earlier attacks. Blade slams his shoulder home to The Iceman's midsection repeatedly until he breaks it to avoid any issues with the five count. Blade takes the shortest break possible and catches Davis with a big back elbow before grabbing the arm and driving Davis to the canvas with a big short arm clothesline! Alan Ducard: The Outlaw is still holding on to that arm, and he pulls Davis back to his feet and into the standing headscissors! Blade heaves him up and slams The Iceman down with the sit-out powerbomb and Blade has the pin on Davis! ONE TWO-LEDGE BREAKS IT UP! Bryan Harris: Great job by Ledge being ever vigilant to break up that pin. Alan Ducard: The Outlaw not wasting any time here pulls Davis up and he puts him over his shoulders with the reverse fireman's carry and he pushes Davis off and slams him down on his knee with a wicked Outlaw Backbreaker! Bryan Harris: Ouch! I flinched seeing that impact - Davis is down! Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw looks like he's really going to rely on his power tonight guys. He usually has a healthy dose of brawl in there, but maybe he's trying to shake it up after his first encounter with Davis. Alan Ducard: The Outlaw is going for the cover here! ONE TWO - DAVIS KICKS OUT! Bryan Harris: Great resiliency and toughness shown there by The Iceman. The Outlaw gets back to his feet, and he waits for Davis to get to his feet under his own power and he sends Davis off on the Irish whip. The Iceman rebounds, and Blade takes Davis up looking for The Outlaw drop, but Davis angles his way out of the toss, and drops behind Greyson. He immediately strikes, grabbing Greyson in a rear naked choke! Bryan Harris: He got him! Alan Ducard: A rear naked choke! Blade is struggling, but he was caught by surprise and he immediately slams Davis back into the buckles - and breaks the hold! Blade charging in but Davis hits a boot to the face, and he comes out with a bulldog from the corner, dropping The Outlaw! Jimmy Yates: Davis is going up the buckles? Bryan Harris: He is an "all-arounder" - Jimbo. Alan Ducard: Well Adam Davis is up to the top rope; he turns, and ... delivers a split-legged moonsault! He is right on target and Davis hooks the leg! ONE TWO - NO! KIDD BREAKS UP THE COUNT! Bryan Harris: He's merely delaying the inevitable there Al. The Iceman brings Greyson back to a vertical base and slams multiple punches into Blade's face before heading for the ropes, and coming off on the rebound with a float-over DDT! Upon spiking The Outlaw, Davis maneuver's from the front facelock position, wraps Blade and applies a guillotine choke! Alan Ducard: The Iceman with the guillotine choke on Blade! Greyson is wrapped in the guillotine, but here comes Kidd - and Davis releases the submission hold, but Patrick isn't stopping, and there's a big elbow to the forehead, staggering Davis, and now the official is getting Kidd out of the ring! Bryan Harris: Yes he is and now here's an opportunity for teamwork! Ledge slides through the ropes, and as Greyson is getting his bearings, Davis delivers a quick "pop-up" stunner and Ledge pulls him quickly into a standing headscissors and in a flash Ledge flips over and delivers the Foxtrot (Canadian Destroyer)! Alan Ducard: What a combination from VIP! Ledge is back to his corner as Davis pulls The Outlaw up and hits a reverse STO! Davis with the quick cover! ONE TWO THR-NO! The Outlaw manages to get the shoulder up! Jimmy Yates: Davis looks shocked - and that kick out has the fans here rocking! They believe in The Outlaw! The Iceman gives an annoyed look to the fans before giving a mocking "dirt off ya shoulda'" motion, and he quickly pulls Greyson up and heaves him up into the fireman's carry - but The Outlaw fires back an elbow, stunning Davis and allowing Greyson to go down the back! The Outlaw steps in and under Davis and takes him up and slams him into the canvas with an Angleslam. Ledge, hurries into the ring in his desire to cut Blade off, but Blade side steps a punch and hooks him, heaving up and driving Ledge into the canvas with a mother of a Rock Bottom! Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw has an opening! The fans are on their feet, cheering and screaming for him to make a tag! Bryan Harris: He's taken quite a bit of punishment Jimbo - its' going to be a hell of a race here. After dropping Ledge, The Outlaw began the arduous journey to his corner. He pulled himself to the ropes, and once there used the ropes to help himself up. However, that took time as Davis rose up from the buckles where he landed after the Angleslam, and he once again has Blade in his sights. Blade pulls himself along the buckles, and Davis charges in but Greyson meets him with a staggering forearm shot that gives him just enough of a window to reach out and... Alan Ducard: Blade makes the tag and here comes Patrick Kidd! Kidd into the ring and he hammers Davis with a big clothesline, and now he's going after Ledge and he hammers him with a big right hand, and then a chop, and another, and he heaves Ledge up and springs him off the ropes and completes the slingshot suplex! Patrick now turning his attention back to Davis and he pulls Adam Davis up and there's a big spinebuster on the Iceman! Jimmy Yates: Kidd firing up the horses here as he pulls Davis up, pulling him into the standing headscissors and ... there's a pulling piledriver! He just spiked Davis down on his head! Alan Ducard: Kidd is making the cover! ONE TWO THR-NO! Davis gets the shoulder up, and this match will continue. Jimmy Yates: Sometimes it's the build-up of the damage taken in multiple assaults, but sometimes is that one HUGE shot that can take a guy out, and that piledriver almost did that to The Iceman right there Alan. Kidd pulls Davis to his feet and hammers him with a knife-edge chop, then another, then another before finally sending The Iceman off with the Irish whip. Davis comes back and Kidd drives him down on his knee with the facebreaker which sends Davis to the canvas, but also causes Kidd to fall to the canvas in agony. Alan Ducard: Uh-oh, gents - Kidd is down and he’s clutching that knee … Jimmy Yates: Kidd is obvious not at 100% even now after all of the surgeries, but he still hasn’t fully adjusted his style yet. Bryan Harris: Yeah, and it’s going to cost Blade here – mark my words. After hurting his knee, Kidd seemed helpless on the canvas for a few moments – unable to get to his corner which allowed Davis the chance to head back to his corner, and a look to each corner said it all. Ledge looked positively giddy, stretching way out, hopeful to get his shot at a downed Patrick Kidd. On the other side of the ring, a worried look crossed over Blade’s face. Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw isn’t looking too happy here guys – I think Kidd’s injuries might have The Outlaw a bit anxious here. Bryan Harris: No kidding Jimbo – Blade would have enough trouble with either Davis or Ledge, let alone this becoming a virtual handicapped match. Alan Ducard: Patrick Kidd and Adam Davis are both almost to their corners and … Kidd makes the tag! He was down but ring positioning won out and now ... Davis makes the tag! It’s Ledge and The Outlaw, right here, right now, and here’s Blade with a right hand, flooring Ledge. Nick is back up and here’s another right hand, and Ledge ducks the third and reverses into a waistlock, and there’s a big German suplex on The Outlaw! Bryan Harris: Ledge used some perfect technique to get Blade over – and I can’t help but think that Greyson could have used just a few more minutes on the outside – he looked just a bit slow on the initial exchange. The crowd jeers Ledge as he pops up with a self-satisfied smile on his face, and he motions for Blade to “get up” but then, smartly, does not even give him the chance as he gets a running start and kicks Greyson in the back of the head, driving him back down to the canvas. Feeling he has Greyson sufficiently stunned, he pulls the big man up, turns him, and drops, hitting the neckbreaker. Finally, he brings Blade back to a vertical position and brings The Outlaw up and over with a snap suplex. After Greyson hits the canvas, Ledge floats over then into the pin … Alan Ducard: Ledge with the cover! ONE TWO T-NO! Greyson kicks out, and he does so with some authority gents. The Outlaw tries to get up to his feet, and Ledge kicks him in the sternum, but Blade is powering through the kick, and there’s a lunging clothesline that takes Ledge down! Jimmy Yates: The outlaw is looking to make a comeback here – he’s searching for that “second wind”. The crowd pops in approval as Blade gets back to his feet and he rocks Ledge with an uppercut as he tries to stand that knocks him back to the ropes. Blade tosses Ledge off with the Irish whip, and on the return, Greyson boots Ledge in the gut, heaves him up in the gutwrench hold, and powerbombs him down! Alan Ducard: What a thunderous powerbomb from The Outlaw, and he forgoes a pin attempt here, and he grabs Ledge up over his shoulder, and he gets a running start and slams him spine first into the buckles before dropping him in the corner. The Outlaw looks down at Ledge with a bit of a sneer, and he pulls Ledge up and angrily and tosses him through the buckles, slamming his weakened arm and shoulder into the unforgiving ring post. Bryan Harris: Oh come on was that necessary? Jimmy Yates: You said yourself that this could potentially be a handicapped match – The Outlaw is going to make sure he’s not entirely outmanned. Ledge staggers back out of the corner, clutching his arm, and Blade grabs him by the head and slams him face first into the buckles, once, twice, three times – and he keeps slamming, watching the count, until finally Ledge collapses out of the corner. Blade looks outside, and then pulls Ledge up and whips him across the ring with the Irish whip, and on the rebound he takes a weakened Ledge up with the back body drop. However, Blade was positioned to take Ledge up such that … Alan Ducard: Ledge crashes outside the ring into that elevated rampway! Now there’s a huge impact gents – Ledge is down on the outside, clutching his arm, and now Blade is exiting the ring after him, and he grabs Ledge by the arm and slams it down into the walkway! Jimmy Yates: VIP has pushed Blade, and pushed, and it looks like some of that frustration is finally venting in a really violent fashion. Bryan Harris: Blade now drops down on Ledge’s back and he’s starting to slam his fist into Ledge’s head and drive his face into the rampway! The official needs to put a stop to this! Jimmy Yates: Maybe so Bry – but here comes Adam Davis to make that a moot point. Davis comes over from his corner and he comes in behind Blade with a double axe handle to knock him off of Ledge. However, before things can turn into a double team situation, Kidd, still favoring that knee makes his way to the area, and he attacks Davis, hammering him with an elbow to the back of the head. Kidd and Davis continue to brawl on the walkway with each shot from the other almost sending a fighter off the walkway to the floor. The official’s warnings have not been heeded thus far, and finally he exits the ring to admonish the fighters. Alan Ducard: The official is now out of the ring, threatening to throw this match out if the action is not brought back inside. Jimmy Yates: The people don’t want to see a count out or a disqualification on PPV – so the official is giving them enough of a chance to get this contest back on track. The official splits Kidd from Davis and sends both back to their corners, and Blade brings Ledge back to the ring and sends him inside by whipping him like a rag doll over the top rope. The Outlaw gives Kidd a questioning look, but the latter reaches out his hand and accepts the tag. Alan Ducard: The Outlaw makes the tag, giving Kidd a shot to get back into the action, and Blade with the inverted atomic drop, and Kidd with the big lariat it out of it to complete the double team! Blade exits the ring, and Kidd makes the cover! ONE TWO THR-NO! Ledge barely gets the shoulder up, and now Kidd pulls Ledge to his feet and there’s the Gallows Drop backbreaker! He just rocked Ledge and this one could be over! ONE TWO THRE-NO! The Iceman is in to break up the pin, and now Kidd is going after Ledge and he hammers him down from behind. Kidd with a kick to Davis, trying to keep him from interfering further, but here’s Ledge in behind and … Ledge with the attack from behind, the pull into the pumphandle, and there’s the suplex from the pumphandle position! Jimmy Yates: The fans may not like it but Ledge is staggering closer to his corner and he makes the tag! Bryan Harris: Davis is in now, and he immediately charges in and hits a skull rattling knee lift on Kidd and now he throws him face first into the buckles! Both teams have really picked up the ferocity in the last few exchanges. Davis goes out of the ring, and pulls Kidd’s legs through to the turnbuckle, and the fans boo what they know is coming, and Davis slams Kidd’s knee into the post, once, twice, three times – and Kidd spasms in agony on the canvas. The Outlaw seeing what was going to happen headed for the buckles as soon as he could, and he pulls Kidd out from the buckles, preventing Davis from continuing that assault. The official gets Blade back to his corner, but as The Iceman enters the ring, the damage may have been done. Alan Ducard: The Iceman really has targeted the legs and now and he goes to the second rope, and leaps off with a stomp down onto Kidd’s leg, and now Davis moving in and … there’s a heel hook! Heel hook on Kidd and Davis is going to tear that knee to shreds! Here comes The Outlaw in there as fast as he can, and he drives a boot in to The Iceman’s teeth to break it up, but Kidd is in some serious agony on the canvas. Bryan Harris: Kidd might be done for here guys. Blade broke up that hold, but Davis had hook cinched on perfectly. Kidd rolls to the ropes, and tries using them to get back to his feet as Davis comes in on the attack, but Kidd somehow springs to the side off of one foot and hooks him … Alan Ducard: Gallows Drop on Davis! Jimmy Yates: The crowd is coming alive! They want to see the tag! Come on Kidd! With Kidd’s injured leg – if he were across the ring Davis would recover in time to stop him, but he was close to his corner, and Ledge, who is bleeding from a cut to the forehead from the ramp attack, rushes the ring after Kidd, but before he can reach him, Blade hits the ring to attack. Blade locks up with Ledge and using his great strength he lifts Ledge up and slams him down with a Shades of Gray (Batista Style) spinebuster! Alan Ducard: The Outlaw drops Ledge, and now he turns his attention to Davis! Blade pulls Davis up to his feet and there’s a right hand, and another, and another! Blade with the Irish whip – no he pulls Davis back and up into The Outlaw Drop! Blade connects! Jimmy Yates: The fans are on their feet! They can feel it – Family Values is turning it on to take this one home! The Outlaw looks up to Kidd, who is standing by the ropes, and yells “can you do it” and Kidd grits his teeth and yells back in the affirmative. Blade pulls Davis up on his shoulders, and Kidd blocks out the pain as best he can and heads up the turnbuckles. Blade moves into position for a Family Values version of the Steinerizer (Top Rope Aided Bulldog) and the fans roar for the old school tag team move as Kidd leaps, but as he pushes off his knee buckles out and instead of driving Davis into the canvas, he rocks his partner, blindsiding him, and knocking both The Outlaw and Davis crash to the canvas. Jimmy Yates: No! Kidd hits Blade in the back of the head! The Outlaw is down! Kidd is distraught as he tries to go to his partner and to help him back up, and seemingly explain what happened, but in this moment of panic, The Iceman is there to capitalize as Kidd is ripped away from assisting The Outlaw, hoisted up from behind, and transitioned to the fireman’s carry ... Alan Ducard: The Cold Shoulder! Davis drops Kidd right in the middle of the ring! Blade is still down! Davis hooks the leg! ONE TWO THREE! The crowd jeers and lets their absolute disappointment be known as the official signals for the bell, and raises The Iceman’s hand in victory. Davis then turns to Ledge who is recovering as he gets back to his feet. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen your winners …. “The Iceman” Adam Davis and Ledge …. VIP! The fans boo even louder after the announcement, and Davis and Ledge each go to a buckle and pose for a moment, basking in the jeers before exiting the ring in celebration. Alan Ducard: It was a valiant effort from Family Values, but they simply were the stronger team here tonight. Jimmy Yates: Kidd’s knee didn’t help matters here guys … Bryan Harris: Woah now, I know Kidd’s knee played into things, but don’t you DARE take anything away from VIP – they came out and beat a legendary team tonight and they were smart enough to exploit the situation to get the job done. As VIP continues their celebration up the rampway, we find Blade getting to his feet in the corner of the ring, still clutching the back of his head and neck. He looks down at Patrick in frustration as Kidd begins to stir on the canvas and get to his feet. The Outlaw looks down frustration and he looks down to Kidd and reading lips you can see him say "I told you shouldn't be doing this - your body can't take it now". Finally, he shakes his head, and he somewhat reluctantly reaches down and offers his hand to Kidd. Kidd hearing Blade and seeing the hand, slaps Blade's hand away, and proceeds to push Greyson away from him with some significant force behind it. The Outlaw's eyes flash in anger and he turns away heading to the ropes. However, upon reaching the ropes, he slowly turns - his body almost now shaking with anger. Jimmy Yates: Oh God ... No ... he can't do this... Bryan Harris: Oh he's going to Jimbo... Alan Ducard: He wouldn't do this to Kidd in their first match in LEGACY. Jimmy Yates: Come on Greyson, come on not like this... The fans rise up with this weird mix of surprise, cheers, boos - it's almost an incredulous reaction as The Outlaw zeros in on his target and then in a flash The Outlaw rockets across the ring and hits the 2008 finisher of the year, unleashing a devastating force that seems to break his friend - his brother in half! Kidd crashes into the canvas, his body spasms from the impact. A loud gasp of surprise is heard as the move hits, and then in the aftermath there is nothing but stunned silence from the Boston crowd. Jimmy Yates: Oh ... my ... God ... I can't believe he actually ... did it. Alan Ducard: He just ripped Kidd in half with that Killshot. At the top of the rampway, Adam Davis and Ledge witnessed everything that happened– at first they were shocked as everyone else, but now they stand smiling and clapping at the top of the rampway. The Outlaw stands looking down over Kidd’s body – the anger is still coursing through him, the adrenaline is still flowing, but in his eyes there is just a hint of ... sadness. Jimmy Yates: This crowd isn’t sure how to react – and I’m not sure I know what to say either … The Outlaw is walking away and... Bryan Harris: He got pushed too far Jimbo … that’s all I can think ... Blade's family is so important to him, to be put in this situation has been tearing him apart from the inside out - and tonight we saw him snap. The Outlaw exits the ring and stalks up the rampway as if he has blinders on until he reaches the top - he turns for a moment to look back to the ring, shakes his head before exiting between the still clapping and supportive VIP, leaving and entire arena flabbergasted and the future of his family in doubt. |
