Tonight's Lineup

The show opens on shot of the broadcast position where Alan Ducard, Bryan Harris and Jimmy Yates are all sitting behind the recap announce table with the standard burgundy backdrop behind them with the LEGACY Logo in the middle. On the sides are white curtains, bundled three feet up off the floor with a gold decorative rope.

Alan Ducard: Good evening everyone and welcome to Hartford for SuperCard STRIFE 56. As always, I'm your host for the evening, Alan Ducard, alongside my fellow co-hosts Jimmy Yates and Bryan Harris.

Jimmy Yates: It's a SuperCard, so all the championships are on the line tonight. That's just 5 of the matches... we have three more in addition to that.

Bryan Harris: Although I don't see the big deal, a lot of people seem excited about the fact that Patrick Kidd is returning to the ring - taking on his long-time friend Greyson Blade.

Alan Ducard: I've been hearing some rumblings about some things the front office is considering, and from what I understand, some of the matches on the card could have increased importance.

Jimmy Yates: We shouldn't waste any more time, let's get right down to the action.

FX Network Title Match
Diego de Cardenas vs Hazard ©

Jimmy Yates: First up in an action packed night, we start things off with the FX Network Championship match in what should continue a long-standing tradition of having a fast paced, exciting match to open LEGACY shows.

Alan Ducard: At STRIFE 56, Hazard got one of the biggest wins of his LEGACY career as he defeated Jester Smiles for the FX Network Championship.

Bryan Harris: Yeah, and tonight Diego de Cardenas gets a chance to fight for that belt, and why? Because some people think he got screwed in his match at STRIFE 56, but frankly I don’t think so. I think Diego’s gone soft. Stephen Rawlings should have this title shot.

Alan Ducard: The FX Network Championship is about having exciting competitors square-off on every show LEGACY has on FX; it’s about providing opportunities and seeing how people do when they’re given a chance to shine.

Jimmy Yates: I don’t see any reason why Diego shouldn’t have this opportunity, and I think he very well might come through with the belt. Let’s get to the match and find out what happened.

Start of Match Footage

Just after the bell rings Diego extends his hand forward for a handshake, drawing a surprised look on the face of LEGACY’s F/X Network Champion. Looking at the crowd, he is persuaded by most of the people in the arena to shake Diego’s hand. Nodding his head, Hazard accepts it.

Alan Ducard: Excellent show of respect there by the former No Limits and World Tag Team Champion.

Jimmy Yates: When you have someone who’s been around the block like Diego de Cardenas - someone who has held titles and attained numerous accolades much like his opponent here tonight - facing a man who’s been around TWICE as long as he, the respect factor just protrudes off the charts.

Bryan Harris: I would agree... if I didn’t.

Jimmy Yates: Well, obviously.

Locking up in an collar and elbow tie-up, Hazard’s superior strength proves to be the advantage here as he slips behind Diego with a go-behind. Diego lifts off of the mat, his feet dangling for a few seconds, from a vice-like waist-lock from Hazard. His boots touching canvas again, Diego throws a few elbows to the side but they connect with nothing as Hazard ducks each attempt to dislodge his grip. Lifting him up in the air again, Hazard brings him down hard against the mat with an amateur wrestling style takedown.

Keeping his fingers locked around Diego’s waist, Hazard floats over Diego’s body and rolls over, pinning Diego’s shoulders to the mat with a modified Oklahoma roll. Before Travis Rollins can even count to one, Diego’s shoulder is off the mat and Hazard is rolling him back over onto his stomach. Floating over once again, Hazard is back to a vertical base and bringing his opponent with him. Diego on his knees, he curls his head forward and lifts his legs up off the mat looking for a sudden victory roll. Hazard’s strength, however, once again comes into play as he simply muscles Diego back up to a vertical base. Almost “unrolling him” from the victory roll state, Hazard once again lifts up Diego and slams him down hard to the mat with an amateur wrestling takedown.

Bryan Harris: Diego NEEDS to break free from this waist lock if he expects to hit Hazard with any of the high flying moves he’s known for.

Alan Ducard: So far, Hazard’s doing a great job grounding his opponent. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone unfold someone going for a victory roll like that before. Some scary brute strength there, that’s for sure.

Jimmy Yates: Looks like Diego’s found a way out.

Just as Hazard floated over for another roll-up again, Diego used his forward momentum against Hazard and continued through in one fluid motion, breaking free of Hazard’s anaconda like grip. Delivering a STIFF kick to Hazard’s back that wakes up this capacity crowd in Hartford, Diego runs into the ropes barely giving Hazard enough time to get to his knees. Flying forward with a missile like dropkick, Diego connects square in the middle of Hazard’s jaw, rocking him down to the mat. Most of the crowd is abuzz over Diego’s sudden string of offensive maneuvers, and Hazard is down on the mat clutching his jaw. Running into the ropes again, Diego jumps to the second rope, springboards off of them and twists in mid-air, connecting with a luchadore style twisting springboard senton. Immediately hooking a leg, Rollins drops down for the count..

One!!

Two!!

Hazard kicks out with authority. A pissed off glare forms on his face as he’s obviously taken aback by Diego’s ability to suddenly overwhelm from seemingly nowhere.

Bryan Harris: Holy crap! Diego out of NOWHERE with that springboard senton!

Jimmy Yates: If he keeps this up this one could be over early!

Alan Ducard: Can Diego keep up on the offensive? Or can Hazard rally and take down this bloke with all of his experience?! Stay tuned to find out!

*** COMMERCIAL BREAK***

Alan Ducard: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to another fine edition of STRIFE. During the commercial break Hazard managed to rally back from an impressive offensive drive from Diego and gain control of this match.

Jimmy Yates: That’s right, Alan. Despite nearly being pinned twice after a couple of leaping spring board attacks, Hazard has taken control of this match again and all it took was a single powerful clothesline counter.

Bryan Harris: Guess that will teach Diego to go to the top rope so often in a match against a veteran like Hazard, yes?

After a brief slow motion replay of Hazard connecting with a HUGE rising clothesline to Diego, who was diving for a huge flying crossbody from the top rope, the action returns to Hazard dropping a leg across Diego’s head in the middle of the ring. Hooking a leg, Rollins drops down for the count..

One...

Two- Diego kicks outs!

Bringing Diego up off of the mat by guiding him by the back of his neck, Hazard man-handles him by tossing him roughshod into the ropes. Bouncing back with his back facing Hazard, Diego goes down HARD face first after a decapitating northern lariat. Following it up, Hazard decides to try and give Diego a taste of his own medicine by jumping to the middle rope. Taking a little longer than Diego would due to his larger frame, Hazard springboards off, twists, and connects with a huge leg drop to the back of Diego’s head.

Bryan Harris: Looks like Diego’s not the only one who can fly in this one!

Jimmy Yates: Man that was DEVASTATING. I think he’s softening that neck up for the Flatscan.

Alan Ducard: You could very well be right on the money, James. That backdrop driver Hazard is known for does an incredible amount of damage WITHOUT the necessity of softening that region up. With a bit of damage beforehand, who knows how much damage could ultimately be done here.

Hazard flips over Diego and hooks a leg..

One!!

Two!!

THR- Diego manages to kick out, but Hazard is not surprised. Bringing him into a seated position. Hazard leans down on the back of Diego’s neck with his knee, using all of his body weight to pour on the pressure, reaches down and pulls upward on the back of Diego’s knee. Diego cries out in agony as Hazard applies the pressure of this expertly applied stump puller.

Alan Ducard: Bloody hell, a stump puller!! Never thought I would be saying that on a LEGACY broadcast!!

Jimmy Yates: Hazard is just DISSECTING Diego’s neck here... this could be over!!

With Diego hollering in pain, agonizing over Hazard’s expertise in wearing down an opponent, Hazard pulls back a little further, really wrenching in that odd submission maneuver. Rollins asks Diego if he wishes to give it up but the fiery Mexican stoutly refuses.

Alan Ducard: One benefit of using a submission move that hardly ANYONE else uses and is seen maybe once or twice every five years, is that NO ONE has that move scouted. Which of course means it’s going to be hard to get out of.

Jimmy Yates: Very true, Alan. I can’t say that Diego had the stump puller well scouted because, quite frankly, it’s not in Hazard’s arsenal.

Hazard pulls back even further on the hold and Diego’s face contorts and twists in painful affectations. His hand raises like he’s going to tap, but he balls it into a fist, pounding the mat to hopefully rally a comeback. Some of the audience rallies behind him, clapping, hoping the former No Limits Champion can muster the courage to overcome this painful onslaught Hazard has brought to the table.

Bryan Harris: Sounds like there are some Diego fans in the house tonight. In Hartford. Who woulda thunk it.

Reaching out a little bit with his foot, Diego manages to slide it inches beyond the ropes. Rollins immediately calls for the break and Hazard lets go after the count of two. Wasting no motion whatsoever, Hazard brings Diego to his feet. Suddenly though, Diego finds a long enough moment of reprieve in this small window of opportunity Hazard has unknowingly opened and jumps up for a standing hurricanrana. Latching his legs onto Hazard’s shoulders, Diego SNAPS backwards with great intensity and DRIVES Hazard’s head into the canvas like a tent spike being hammered into the ground.

Diego collapses onto the mat, holding his neck as Hazard lies motionless on the mat.

Alan Ducard: Blimey!! That half-canrana just BURIED Hazard’s head into the ground!! He could be OUT!! Will Diego be able to capitalize on this huge maneuver? Or will the Network Champ bounce back for the win? Find out when we come back!!

Jimmy Yates: Stay with us, folks!!

*** COMMERCIAL BREAK***

Jimmy Yates: We’re back, ladies and gentlemen and what a match this has turned into!

Alan Ducard: I don’t even know if LEGACY has time limits in place, but this one’s gotta be approaching the fifteen minute mark!

Bryan Harris: Ever since he was dropped on that noggin’ of his, Hazard hasn’t been able to sift through this haze he’s in. Gotta wonder if Diego did some serious damage there! Not that Hazard’s got much upstairs to screw up anyway..

Alan Ducard: Really? You’ll just say ANYTHING to put a little “heelness” in your commentary, won’t you?

Bryan Harris: What?! Least I don’t squeal like a girl saying puppies or say “Vintage Creed!” every five seconds!

Alan Ducard: Guys, lets focus back on the action, okay? This is an important match here. The bloody Network Championship is on the line!

With Hazard slowly getting to his knees after a series of luchadore take downs, Diego stands on the middle turnbuckles and waits patiently for Hazard to rise like dough in the oven. As soon as Hazard turns around to meet his maker, Diego jumps forward with his feet extended, hoping for a front facing missile dropkick. Hazard, however, sees it coming and grabs catches the feet of his opposition on his way down to the canvas. With Diego’s neck snapping against the canvas, Hazard readies Diego for a slingshot across the ring. Falling back with Diego’s legs locked in, Hazard lands on the mat... but instead of sending Diego across the ring, Diego whips forward, his entire body crashing down on top of Hazard like a wall.

Jimmy Yates: Wow! Interesting counter to that! Looks like Diego just went deadweight and used Hazard’s propelling against him! He could be knocked out here!

Diego hooks a leg and Rollins counts...

One!!

Two!!

Thr- Hazard kicks out and Diego rolls off of him. Standing back up, Diego collapses into the ropes, feeling slightly worn down from Hazard’s toughness and strength. Looking at the Network Champion attempting to get to his feet. Diego runs into the ropes behind him. Hazard stands up fully, and as Diego runs in for the bulldog, Hazard instinctively lifts Diego up for his Flatscan backdrop driver. The crowd pops for a moment, but Diego quickly rolls through, landing on his feet and escaping the deadly clutches of that maneuver. Latching onto Hazard’s head, Diego brings him down swiftly anyway with what was his original intent, a running bulldog. Diego turns him over and hooks a leg, blood noticeably seeping down his lip..

One!!

Two!!

Thr- NO!!

Bryan Harris: That damn Hazard is tough as NAILS. He manages to kick out again!! He almost had him with that Flatscan, too!!

Spotting the blood seeping from Hazard’s lip, Diego throws a lightning quick kick to it, smashing him in the teeth in the process. Hazard’s eyes tear up from the rough impact of it, as the swelling forms almost instantaneously from the stiffness of Diego’s kick. With Hazard momentarily stunned, Diego backhand CHOPS Hazard IN THE MOUTH.

Alan Ducard & Jimmy Yates: GOD!!!

Bryan Harris: Diego is literally slapping the taste out of Hazard’s mouth!!

With Hazard holding his face in a bent over position, Diego sets up Hazard for what looks like a piledriver. Lifting him up, Diego falls forward with a front falling pancake facebuster, further damaging Hazard’s lip.
Jimmy Yates: Diego REALLY going to town on Hazard’s lip here...

Bryan Harris: Quick! Put him in a lip-lock!

Jimmy Yates: Gay.

Bryan Harris: Yeah. Super gay. That... really came out wrong.

Alan Ducard: Eh ehhm.... not there’s anything WRONG with being gau, viewers watching at home!! *sigh*

Signaling to the crowd for something, Diego looks ahead to the ropes as Hazard begins getting to his face after the pancake facebuster. Running towards them, Hazard gets on his feet and spots Diego going for another high risk luchadore maneuver. Jumping to the second rope, Diego moonsaults back, hooking his arm around Hazard’s head as he goes for a sliced bread number two. But instead, Hazard DROPS HIM right on the back of his neck with the backdrop driver as he uses all of his strength to catch him in mid-air.

Alan Ducard: BLOODY EFFING HELL!!! FLATSCAN COUNTERED FROM THE SLICED BREAD!!! WHAT A COUNTER!!!! WHAT A COUNTER!!!

Bryan Harris: WOW!!!!! WHAT A FLATSCAN!!!

Jimmy Yates: THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

With Diego in a deep unconscious state, the audience is on their FEET after that amazing counter. Knowing full well he’s got him, Hazard turns Diego over and covers him with a lateral press. The fans count along, excited over what they just witnessed...

ONE!!

TWO!!

THREE!!!!

The bell sounds immediately and Hazard is back on his feet with Rollins pointing at Josephina Colbert while simultaneously raising Hazard’s hand.

Bryan Harris: My God that was an AMAZING counter. I’ve never seen anything like that!!

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen the winner of this match... and STILL the F/X NETWORK CHAMPION.... HE IS THE ONE MAN RIOT.... HAZARD!!!!

As the commentators sit in silence, the replay shows Hazard catching Diego in mid-air from the sliced bread number two and driving him down to the canvas with his patented version of the backdrop driver with sickening speed. It’s shown again from two different angles, showing the reactions from the faces in the crowd. One final time it’s shown in slow motion, and the crowd winces terribly from the impact of Diego being driven into the canvas.

Jimmy Yates: Wow... I’m speechless. These guys tore it up here tonight for over twenty-two minutes. They went above and beyond the expectations for a televised title match, and in my estimation might have stolen the show here tonight. That sliced bread countered into the backdrop driver is going to be remembered for a long, long time here in LEGACY.

Bryan Harris: As much as I want to be negative here, I really can’t be. These guys really put on one helluve show for us all, and I for one wouldn’t mind seeing these two lock horns in a rematch. If Diego can ever recover from that Flatscan, that is...

Alan Ducard: Diego escaped the Flatscan once in this match, but that second time... well, there was just no getting out of that. Unbelievable!

Champions of Destiny

As the scene opens, both Mirage and Cronos approach, complete with their Favre/Peterson Vikings jerseys, and the Legacy World Tag Team titles strapped around their wastes.

Mirage: "Ok, guys, lemme recap before you go out there and do this. Remember now, this is the last time before it's live, so this is how it goes down...you two go out first and head down to the bottom of the rampway where you'll wait. Oh, you'll be wearing the gifts we got you, speaking of which, hang on a second."

Mirage turns toward Osamu, who is flanked by Lucien.

Mirage: "Osamu...give these two the gifts you had specially made for them."

Osamu steps up and hands the two men Mirage is speaking with one present each, gift wrapped in funnies section newspaper, just like the generic presents of our childhood pasts when people ran out of real wrapping paper.

Mirage: "Ohhh, nice wrap job."

Osamu: "It was very last minute. Lucien came up with the idea to gift wrap them, after all…they're gifts. Oh, and do know that these were expensive...so try not to get blood on them."

Guy #1: "Wait...what do you mean get blood on them?!"

Osamu: "Relax, I'm kiddin'..."

Walking back behind Mirage, Osamu glances at Lucien and whispers, "Well, not really kiddin'", which causes a low rumbling laughter to emerge from behind Lucien's mask.

Guy #2: "So lemme get this straight, we wear these gifts, stand down at the bottom of the rampway while you guys do your promo...and then you'll pay us each five hundred dollars?!"

Mirage nods.

Mirage: "Exactly."

Cronos Diamante: “Make sure it looks damn good, too. Though you really don't have to sell it, I'll do that for you...”

Mirage backhands Cronos in the gut and he gives Mirage a “what I say?” look that causes a chuckle to escape from Osamu. Cronos shrugs.

Guy #2: "Awesome...done deal."

Guy #1: "Let's do this before I get too nervous...I've never been out in front of a crowd like this before!"

Cronos Diamante: “Won’t be again, either.”

Guy #2: “What?”

Cronos Diamante: “Nothing. I just said it’ll be the best experience EVAR!”

Both men tear open their presents as Cronos chuckles.

Cronos sighs as the two men hold their gifts up, excited.

Mirage: "Customized official NFL Chicago Bears jerseys, recreated into Flying Avengers jerseys...show em' off to the cameras, guys. See that, check that out, Dynamite #80, Lightning #08."

Cronos: "Wow, those are almost as nice as our Favre and Peterson jerseys...but the Bears…well, they suck!"

Team AoD all share a laugh.

Cronos Diamante: “At least they can say they had their fifteen minutes of fame, Mirage.”

Mirage: “Who? Kid Dynamite and Flash Lightning?”

Cronos Diamante: “Yeah...them.”

Mirage: "Ok, you guys put those on...and you know what to do from there. Remember, fellas, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS each!"

Cronos: “And I’ll throw in an extra hundred to whoever looks best. At the bottom and alla that.”

Guy #1: "Sweet! Hey, we were both kinda wondering…can we get some pictures wearing the AoD Tag Titles after this?!"

Mirage pauses a moment, pondering...

Mirage: "Um…no. Do you know what it took to get these?! Do you walk into the Superbowl and ask to hoist the Lombardi trophy? Do you run onto the field after game 7 of the World Series and grab the World Series trophy, you know the one with all those little spindly flags on it and take pictures with it?! No. You don't. Because those kinda things are hard to get…just like these titles. Hard to get. So, what you do get for helping us out is get five hundred dollars each…and that's that. Ok?"

Cronos nudges Mirage.

Mirage: “And the extra hundred from Cronos, I guess.”

Guy #2: See, that's what I told him...

Guy #1: You never told me that, you were the one that asked me to...

Mirage: Shhh, gentlemen…seriously now, in a few minutes time you're going to be standing out there in front of thousands of fans…you've watched sports before, play to the crowd…have some fun. Just remember…DO WHAT I SAID…wait at the bottom of the rampway, and DO NOT MOVE FROM THERE.

The two men put their new Flying Avengers Chicago Bears jerseys on and walk toward the gorilla position.

Mirage: "Hahaha, nice touch with the numbers, O-Dawg..."

The camera shows the two men walking off side by side, the numbers read : 8008.

Osamu: "I was hoping it wasn't too subtle."

Mirage: "Nah, come on...who hasn't enjoyed calculator fun in their day spelling boob with those numbers?! All right, gentlemen, let's do this thing..."

Cronos Diamante: “Maybe the gays didn't. They don’t like the boobies.”

Lucien taps Cronos on the shoulder and whispers something to him.

Cronos Diamante: “I’m good, Lucien. I’m ready to go. Let’s go, Mr. Favre.”

As the AoD music hit's the PA, the two stooges walk out to a chorus of booing fans. Walking down to the bottom of the rampway, the two point down at their backs with their thumbs showing off the names Lightning and Dynamite.

Team AoD walks out onto the rampway, led by Mirage and Cronos in their purple Vikings jerseys, which generate even more boos with the NFL fans of Hartford. Mirage lifts a mic to his lips waiting for the crowd to settle down.

Mirage: "All right...all right, we get it...you really hate talented people in Hartford."

As if on cue, the fans respond in kind, booing even louder. This draws smiles from the AoD, who expected it.

Mirage: "Ok...you've been wondering what was up with the AoD, and here we are...united in holy awesomonie...to bring you people...the greatest show on earth!"

Mirage pauses a few moments.

Mirage: "So people were all like...Mirage, you need to send a message to The Flying Avengers or something, because you didn't mention them in the promo you released last week. So I was all like...yea, umm ok man...so we'll respond in kind, as only the AoD can. I was kinda thinking of a way to send this message in an AoD sorta way, and I figure actions speak louder than words...so, without further adieu..."

Cronos nudges Mirage and takes the microphone from him.

Cronos Diamante: “Before we get on with it, I would just like to say it’s a great HONOR to be wrestling here in Hart…”

Cronos is drowned out by boos which is exactly what he expected. He lets a big grin form on his face and hands the microphone off to a chuckling Mirage.

Mirage tosses the mic off the stage which lands with a thud. Tossing the AoD World Tag titles to the side, Osamu hands Lucien an official size NFL football.

Lining up at the top of the rampway, Lucien bends over center with the ball touching the ground, Mirage behind center, flanked by "All Day" Cronos Diamante a few yards back, while Osamu runs to the end of the stage, lining up as slot wideout.

Mirage lifts his leg putting it back down, yelling out various commands, reaching between Luciens legs.

Mirage: "Blue...sixty six...blue sixty six...hut...HUT...check down check it..."

Mirage walks in front of Cronos pointing down the rampway yelling inaudible commands toward Osamu. Mirage points at a few fans in the crowd bringing them into the action as if they were part of it. Mirage finally points down the rampway. Right about now the two stooges notice Mirage pointing at them and confusion begins to set in...Osamu goes into motion, running toward Cronos.

Mirage: "Red 21...RED 21...NOW!"

Lucien snaps the ball as Osamu takes off down the ramp and Cronos begins moving forward, Mirage drops back and stuffs the ball into Cronos gut and fakes a deep pass to confuse the secondary...

Osamu, trailed by Cronos carrying the ball...storm down the ramp toward the "Flying Avengers" who look more like a couple of deer in headlights...as the two men finally react and begin to run, Osamu blocks one hard while "All Day" crashes into the jerseyed Avengers (more like runs over)...and sends them both flying like bowling pins.

Osamu breaks persuit standing over the two crushed Avengers and Cronos continues to run, sliding under the bottom rope into the ring...he jumps up holding the ball out in celebration...back on the rampway Mirage holds up both hands in the touchdown formation, Mirage jumps into Lucien's arms. Cronos spikes the ball which some lucky fan catches.

*BOOM* *BOOM* Red flares pop off through the ring posts sending a heatwave across the audience. A fancy graphic lights up on the jumbotron: TOUCHDOWN, A.O.D!!!.

Osamu yells up to Cronos as he brings the coveted World Titles toward the ring, the television cameras picking up most of the conversation.

Osamu Hayashi: “Damnit, Cronos, you hit him too damn hard -- I told you not to get blood on those jerseys!”

Cronos Diamante: So, give him the extra hundred!

Osamu Hayashi: Which one?

Cronos shrugs and Mirage grabs the mic and begins walking toward the ring, stepping over the fallen bodies of the fake Avengers.

Mirage: "What better way to send a message to the beloved caped crusaders than to send a couple of Flying Avengers...well, Flying?!"

Mirage yells into the mic as he approaches the ring...

Mirage: WE ARE...

Osamu, Lucien and Cronos: THE A.O.D!

Mirage: AND WE ARE...

Osamu, Lucien and Cronos: DONE HERE!

Cronos and Mirage grab the World Tag Team Championship belts from Osamu and hold them high over their heads with Osamu and Lucien at either side of the two men holding up their hand as the victors.

Number One Contender's Match - No Limits Title
Thomas Manchester Black
vs Crazy Boy

Jimmy Yates: With a No Limits title shot at the upcoming pay per view on the line, Thomas Manchester Black is in the ring tonight to face Crazy Boy.

Alan Ducard: As the former champion who wasn’t pinned in the four-way match at Destined for Greatness where he lost the belt to Ethan Leers, you can be sure that Crazy Boy will be extremely motivated to pick up the victory here tonight in hopes of getting a chance to take his gold back from The Cult Leader.

Bryan Harris: If that’s Crazy Boy’s big motivation going into this match – if that’s what he’s been thinking about since this match was setup back at STRIFE 56, then he’s destined for FAILURE, not greatness.

Alan Ducard: With so many matches on the card, let’s get to our second match of the evening.

Start of Match Footage

Bryan Harris: Thomas Manchester Black showing why he's a rising star here in LEGACY, getting things started prematurely prior to even the opening bell.

Alan Ducard: In a No Limits Match, the opening bell barely matters.

And he's right, as Thomas Manchester Black catches Crazy Boy with a Chin Check before CB even managed to get his shirt off. He clamps his hands behind Crazy Boy's neck in a variation of a Muay Thai clinch and delivers a strong series of knees to the chest and midsection, driving the wind out of CB and staggering him into the ropes for support. Black wastes no time in taking two steps back then sprinting forward to deliver a thunderous Yakuza kick that sends Crazy Boy tumbling out of the ring and to the floor.

Bryan Harris: Black is all business here, as our No Limits Pizza Boy is on the floor within a minute and a half.

Jimmy Yates: I think Crazy Boy deserves a little more respect than that. From what we've seen from him, you know as well as I do that he's nowhere near done yet. He just needs to find an opening here.

On the floor, TMB delivers a series of right hands to keep Crazy Boy from picking up any momentum, eventually driving him back against the security railing. He charges for another Yakuza kick, but Crazy Boy has finally collected himself and uses a drop toehold to drive Black's chin into the top of the security railing and create an opportunity for some offense.

Alan Ducard: There's that opening we were talking about. Crazy Boy has become accustomed to dealing with larger opponents and waiting for the right time to build momentum.

Bryan Harris: Like there's a bad time to build momentum, Alan.

As Black picks himself up, Crazy Boy does his best E. Honda impression, delivering a series of a dozen or so stiff palm strikes to the chest of his opponent, pinning him against the guard rail and literally holding him up with the force of the blows. As Crazy Boy ceases the offensive attack and lets out a primal yell, Black slumps down to a seated position on the floor. Crazy Boy seeks out a steel chair and pitches it towards Black, who instinctively catches it. For the moment that the chair is propped up and an available target, CB makes the most of it, charging with a Yakuza kick of his own into the chair that sandwiches Thomas Manchester Black's head between the chair and the security railing. As the chair falls to the ground, there's a small amount of blood coming from the brow of Black.

Jimmy Yates: Despite your assumption that he was done before this match really got started, Bryan, first blood goes to Crazy Boy.

CB lifts Black up and is headed towards the ring with him, but as they near the apron, Black delivers a forearm to the ribs of Crazy Boy, doubling him over. He lifts him in a bodyslam position, but drops him facefirst onto the ring apron instead of completing the slam. Black then rips Crazy Boy's shirt off of him, using it to choke him and sling him under the bottom rope and into the ring. Black retrieves the chair that drew blood from him and follows Crazy Boy into the ring once again.

Alan Ducard: The tide has certainly shifted in a hurry here. I would imagine that Thomas Manchester Black has bad intentions for Crazy Boy with that chair.

Bryan Harris: He's a professional wrestler with a steel chair. Are there any other types of intentions?

Black abandons the chair momentarily to continue choking CB with his own shirt, eventually using it to lead him into the turnbuckles. Black unwraps the shirt from Crazy Boy's throat and simply hangs it over the top turnbuckle. TMB forces a shoulder into the gut of Crazy Boy, doubling him over, which leads to a front facelock that quickly gets rolled into a neckbreaker, leaving Black a moment to gloat to the fans about his dominance over the former No Limits Champion.

Jimmy Yates: It's looking like a return engagement with Ethan Leers is going to be difficult to obtain for Crazy Boy here.

Alan Ducard: As mentioned before, though, he's not dead in the water yet. He's going to need to mount a rally in a hurry, though.

Black props Crazy Boy up against the top rope, dead center against the hard camera, and makes it clear that he intends to wrap the chair around the skull of Crazy Boy. He draws back and brings the chair straight down with everything he has, but Crazy Boy simply sits down, leaving the chair to hit the top rope and spring back against TMB's head.

Alan Ducard: Crazy Boy moves! Black's overzealousness just caused him to do some own damage. That's going to open that cut up just a little more.

Bryan Harris: Lay off the scrabble words. The kids at home won't know what you mean.

Black is stunned but furious, and as Crazy Boy moves in to capitalize, he swings the chair like a baseball bat, coming from the side, in an attempt to level CB. Crazy Boy is thinking two moves ahead though, using a baseball slide to duck underneath the shot, then popping up to his feet and using a dropkick to the knees of Black to take his feet out from under him causing him to fall forward and crack his head against the chair once again.

Alan Ducard: And the former No Limits Champion is building momentum in a hurry here, as Thomas Manchester Black is bleeding quite heavily at this point.

As Crazy Boy builds momentum, though, the lights flicker and the LEGACY Vision jumbotron goes to static. Everyone's attention goes to the big screen, and then the broadcast footage shows that Chivalric is now on the ring apron, unnoticed by either competitor. Tipping a bottle upside down, he pours some sort of liquid onto Crazy Boy's t-shirt, which is still on the top turnbuckle.

Jimmy Yates: Chivalric! And is that...chloroform?

Bryan Harris: It wouldn't be the first time..and if I'm being honest, hopefully not the last.

The lights flicker again and Chivalric is gone. Crazy Boy is once again focused on Black, waiting for him to stand up and delivering a big dropkick to the chest of TMB. Black staggers back into the corner where Crazy Boy's t-shirt hangs, and once again uses it to snare Crazy Boy by the throat as he comes in.

Jimmy Yates: Chivalric is gone as soon as he appeared! What was he doing here to begin with!

Alan Ducard: This can be pieced together.. it seems that Chivalric is the man responsible for attacking the fanboy at DFG. Crazy Boy vowed to get a measure of revenge for the attack, and if it was indeed Chivalric, he didn't take kindly to Crazy Boy's threats.

Bryan Harris: Not many people are crazy about being threatened. Though I bet there's a website out there for it somewhere.

Crazy Boy gets very groggy within seconds, and the bloody TMB wastes no time in delivering a backbreaker, then propping Crazy Boy up in mid-ring to deliver another Chin Check before going for what has become an elementary pinfall.

Josephina Colbert: Your winner of the match and Number One Contender to the No Limits Title, Thomas...Manchester...BLACK!

Alan Ducard: And so it is decided that Thomas Manchester Black will go on to the pay per view with a shot at the No Limits Championship.

Jimmy Yates: Crazy Boy won't be happy about losing this match when he wakes up, but if it's possible, he may have even bigger problems on the horizon.

Bryan Harris: Yeah, it definitely looks like Chivalric is targeting ole Crazy Boy, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of this match. Crazy Boy did an alright job with the No Limits Title, but Thomas Manchester Black could take it to new heights! The guy screams hardcore from his pores, and I'd like nothing more than to see him take the strap from Ethan Leers.

Jimmy Yates: Don't forget that there's a No Limits Title match later on tonight, and if Chris Turner has anything to say about it, Ethan Leers won't be champion too much longer.

Goals and Asperations

The scene shifts backstage to Intern Avery standing next to Shinya and Maya, TRES BIEN. There is a slight buzz from the crowd as Maya waves to the camera with a big grin on his face.

Intern Avery: I'm standing here once again with Shinya and Maya, the tag team known as TRES BIEN . Now, gentlemen, last week you said that your goals aren't really the tag titles but rather to give the fans a reason to cheer and smile again. Do you think that any of the other tag teams in Legacy will take offense to what you said?

Shinya and Maya look as if they are about to answer the question into the microphone, however, before they can they stop. Their attention suddenly shifts to their left where they both stare at the empty space until...

Kid Lightning walks into the shot with his head cocked to the side, FLASH Dynamite isn't far behind, his massive arms folding across his chest as Kid Lightning sneers at Shinya and Maya.

Kid Lightning: Yeah, fellas. Why don't you answer that? Because last time I checked, everyone that laced up their boots wanted to become a champion...isn't that what you thought, FLASH?

FLASH Dynamite: Yeah, I seem to remember hearing that somewhere, KL.

FLASH stares at Maya and Shinya through the narrow slits for eyes in his mask for a moment.

FLASH Dynamite: You heard the man. Answer the question.

Maya looks slightly afraid because of how FLASH and Kid Lightning reacted, Shinya steps forward and pushes Maya behind him to fully shield him in case something happens.

Shinya: Look, we never said we didn't want to be champions, we said that isn't what we came here for. If we win the tag team championships then we'd be thrilled. But that isn't why we came here, we came here because people like you don't care about the fans anymore. All you care about is your own greed and your own selfish ideals. We want to make the fans out there happy, first and foremost. Why is that so hard to understand?

Kid Lightning turns his sneer into a grin before clicking his tongue against the back of his teeth.

Kid Lightning: Shinya, you misunderstand us. See, we just want to make sure that you really want to become tag team champions. We want to make sure of that because after our match tonight? We're going to get to start making some calls around here. And one of the matches we're going to want is you two against the two of us. Think about it...

FLASH Dynamite: It'll make the fans really happy to see you in action against two competitors like us. It'll make us happy to defend against worthy challengers. And you'll be happy for the opportunity all while making everyone else happy, right?

Shinya starts to answer, but Kid Lightning holds his hand up.

Kid Lightning: That's what you guys are good at, right? Making everyone happy?

Shinya: You guys haven't even won anything yet, but we'll fight you either way. Who do you think you are anyway? You just interrupt us and try to bully us into doing whatever you want? Couldn't you have at least waited until after our interview time?

Maya now stands next to Shinya, both of them now facing off with a respective member from the Flying Avengers.

Maya: We wanted to talk to all the fans...and you interrupted all of that. Not very nice if you ask me...

Kid Lightning holds both hands up defensively.

Kid Lightning: You misread us again, friend. It's the language barrier, surely. We're not here to bully you. You don't have to face us, we can find other challengers to the tag team titles that we WILL win tonight, that's fine. We thought you would appreciate the gesture.

FLASH Dynamite: We were wrong. Come on, KL, let's go.

FLASH turns and starts to leave, and Kid Lightning turns as well, but then turns right back around and looks at first Maya's eyes and then into Shinya's.

Kid Lightning: By the way, guys. We didn't interrupt anything. We made it more interesting. And if that weren't enough, now those people watching get to have something to look forward to. Don't crush their dreams by having petty preconceived notions of who we are, alright guys?

Kid Lightning turns and walks off, shaking his head slowly.

Shinya still looks very tense as the Flying Avengers leave, Maya turns to Intern Avery.

Maya: I'm very sorry, but I think that's all for now...thanks for watching everyone, we'll talk to you again next week, kay?

Maya smiles and waves at the camera, Shinya is still in a very defensive position in the direction the Flying Avengers left in. Maya tugs on his shirt slightly before they both leave the shot. Intern Avery is left looking somewhat confused as the scene shifts back to ringside.

World Tag Team Championship
Flying Avengers vs DJ Cassidy & Devastation
vs Agents of Destiny ©

Alan Ducard: Tonight’s SuperCard includes a triple threat matchc for the World Tag Team Championships, as the newly re-tooled Agents of Destiny look to keep on track in a division which is starting to gain a new look and feel with the teams that are rising up in it recently.

Bryan Harris: What you’re going to see tonight from the Agents of Destiny is more of the same domination, but in a different style now that Cronos Diamante has taken the place of Lucien Gray… and what a scary prospect that must be for the rest of the division – Mirage and Cronos teamed up and on the same page, but with the monster Lucien Gray behind them.

Jimmy Yates: There are two teams vying for the belts tonight, so I wouldn’t be too sure of the AoD retaining the championships… The Flying Avengers have been World Tag Team Champs before, and they came real close to winning the ladder match at Destined For Greatness.

Alan Ducard: And although this would be the first time DJ Cassidy and Devastation have teamed up, they’re both extremely good at technical wrestling, and typically when two individuals like that pair up, they tend to work really well together.

Bryan Harris: Those two guys don’t deserve a tag title shot… just because one of them has been a tag champ before and the other was a World Champ?

Jimmy Yates: They’ve got talent, and they could very easily gel. LEGACY could find lightning in a bottle with this team if they win, and at the very least they are going to make it difficult for Mirage and Cronos to not lose the belts to the Flying Avengers. Let’s get to the footage and see what happened.

Start of Match Footage

“It Dwells in Me” by All That Remains slowly comes to an end as the camera watches Cade Sydal sit down at the commentary booth, putting on a pair of headsets, next to Jimmy Yates. In the ring, Devastation still has a side headlock on Kid Lightning, while glancing periodically over at the commentary booth.

Jimmy Yates: Well it looks like we’re being joined here at the commentary position by Cade Sydal. What brings you out here, Cade?

Bryan Harris: Yeah. Did you come to your senses and decide its time to leave the in-ring life alone and maybe try your hand at something else? Not that I think you’ll have more success here than you did in the ring, of course.

Cade Sydal: Actually, I came down here to scout the talent in the tag team division and maybe give you the chance to say some of those things you’ve been saying about me to my face, Bryan.

Kid lightning grabs Devastation’s wrist and tries to twist his way out of the headlock, but Devastation snaps Kid Lightning back into the headlock position, but in doing so Kid Lightning rolls with the momentum and swings under Devastation’s left arm, hooking him into a hammerlock! Kid Lightning quickly rolls over Devastation’s shoulder and snaps Devastation over with an arm drag!

Bryan Harris: Incredible athleticism there to leap right over Devastation’s shoulder!

Alan Ducard: No one has ever discredited the athletic ability of Kid Lightning.

Cade Sydal: No one should. It’s the kind of holier-than-thou attitude he has that people get down on him for.

Kid Lightning nips up right to his feet as Devastation rolls through the arm drag right to his feet. Kid Lightning turns as Devastation explodes into a running start, shoulder tackling Kid Lightning down to the canvas! Devastation hit’s the ropes to the side and Kid lightning quickly scrambles over to his belly in an attempt to trip Devastation, but the big man jumps clear over him! Kid Lightning scrambles to his feet as Devastation continues running (despite stumbling just a tad after jumping), and Kid Lightning leaps up for a leap frog! Devastation ducks under Kid Lightning and stops behind him, and catches him as he turns around with a headlock!

Alan Ducard: While we see Devastation demonstrating some of his technical prowess and ring awareness, Cade, I’ve got to ask you…are you out here to potentially scout for a possible partner or perhaps get a look at the tag team division as a whole before you and your partner, whoever that may be, throw your names into the hat?

Cade Sydal: That’s a good question, Al…good tag there from Devastation to DJ Cassidy by the way…and the truth is a little bit of both. I’m still looking for the right partner. It could be Devastation, I certainly have a little bit of my earlier career’s history with him. Or it could be DJ Cassidy, who’s an impressive young technical wrestler in his own right as he’s demonstrating with that wristlock. Right now, it really could be anyone. That and I want to watch the other established teams closely, without something else to distract my mind.

Cassidy wrenches on Kid Lightning’s wrist again, preventing him from trying to escape from the wristlock. Kid Lightning rolls forward, but Cassidy rolls off his shoulders with Kid Lightning, maintaining the same pressure on Kid Lightning’s wrist! Kid Lightning leaps up into the air and swings his body, driving his right foot down on Cassidy’s wrists! Kid Lightning hit’s the ropes right in front of him and Cassidy quickly ducks down for a back body drop! Kid Lightning leaps up and lands with his feet on Cassidy’s shoulders, and as Cassidy launches up for the back body drop Kid lightning jumps again and lands on Cassidy’s shoulders with a hurricanrana that spills DJ through the ropes, and Cronos slaps his shoulder as Cassidy spills through to the floor!

Jimmy Yates: Kid Lightning displaying some incredible moves, but I don’t think he saw Cronos make the tag!

Bryan Harris: I don’t think he cares! He’s about to fly!

Kid Lightning hit’s the ropes and sprints and dives through..right into a boot to the side of his head from Cronos! Kid Lightning’s body angles sharply fron the impact and his torso swings into Cronos’ abdomen and the middle rope, Cronos holds the top rope to avoid falling over!

Cade Sydal: Holy fu*k, guys.

Alan Ducard: Cronos may have received a bit of punishment form that, but Kid Lightning absolutely bore the brunt of it to the side of his head!

Diamante steps through the ropes, clutching a little at his abdomen, as he kicks Kid Lightning hard in the back of the head in anger. Diamante grabs Kid Lightning and forcefully pulls him back to his feet and sends him into a neutral corner as Devastation helps his partner back onto the ring apron. Cronos rushes into the corner for a body avalanche but Kid Lightning swings his body through the ropes! Cronos crashes with his chest into the turnbuckles and Mirage runs along the apron at Kid Lightning! Kid Lightning kicks his right leg out, catching Mirage in the chest, doubling him over! Kid Lightning quickly grabs Mirage and turns him so his body is through the ropes, and then slingshots over the rope as Cronos stumbles out of the corner! Kid Lightning catches Cronos by the side of the head and turns, driving his leg down on the back of Mirage’s neck and driving Cronos down with a sort of bulldog as Mirage’s upper chest bounces off the middle rope!

Bryan Harris: Whoa! Kid Lightning with a little luck to catch both men in an offensive move at once!

Alan Ducard: Even so, he may think about tagging his partner in. His size is going to be detrimental in the early goings of this match against a veteran the caliber of Diamante!

Kid Lightning, as if hearing Alan Ducard’s words, bounces back to his feet and runs the length of the ropes, slapping FLASH’s hand! He then darts back toward Diamante and helps him to his feet as FLASH is quick to join him. Together they whip Cronos off the ropes and Kid lightning rushes behind him, catching him with a drop toe hold as FLASH comes off the ropes to Cronos’ left, Devastation slaps FLASH’s back as FLASH rebounds off the ropes and leaps up, landing with a high back senton splash across Cronos’ back! FLASH gets to his feet and Devastion rushes him, clothe slinging him over the top rope to the outside! Devastation holds his arm and turns to cover Cronos!

Jimmy Yates: Speaking of veterans, Devastation might win the tag titles with some veteran instincts!

ONE!

TWO!

T--!

Mirage dives into the ring and clubs Devastation across the chest with a double axe-handle smash!

Alan Ducard: Mirage, ever the thinking man’s wrestler, has kept his championship around his metaphorical waist for the time being.

Cade Sydal: It’s a good thing he did, because I don’t think Cronos had the wind to kick out of that. That’s a lot of weight to have crashing on your back, veteran or not.

Devastation slowly pulls Cronos up as Mirage is escorted out of the ring and whips Cronos off the ropes! Devastation catches Cronos on the rebound with a quick press onto his shoulders, looking for a running power slam before Cronos slips down his back! FLASH slides back into the ring, angry from the clothesline out, just as Cronos shoves Devastation forward! FLASH drives both arms into Devastation’s chest with a Polish hammer before the official quickly admonishes him and gets him out of the ring!

Jimmy Yates: Hammer of Justice just took Devastation’s head off!

Bryan Harris: Good God! I bet you didn’t teach him that, did ya?

Cade Sydal: Not at all. He’s a big kid, he’s got ideas of his own. That just happens to be one that works really really well for him.

Alan Ducard: I am a little surprised that Devastation wasn't able to hold Cronos up on his shoulder. Typically that sort of thing is more effective when Dev attempts it.

Cronos drops across Devastation’s body and hooks the leg as the referee turns back to the ring!

ONE!

TWO!

TH--!

DJ Cassidy lunges into the ring and grabs Cronos by the ankle, pulling him off the cover just as Kid Lightning sprints into the ring himself! Kid Lightning quickly backs out of the ring, as Cassidy beat him to the punch, and Cronos turns back to Devastation and swings into a mounted position. Diamante begins driving quick and sharp jabs into Devastation’s face before being forced to stop before getting himself disqualified. Cronos holds his hands up and grabs Devastation by the arm, pulling him to his feet, Cronos quickly tags in Mirage.

Bryan Harris: Mirage in for the first official time of this match.

Alan Ducard: I don’t suspect you’ll see a whole lot of one of the Agents of Destiny for too long in this match at a time, they’re clever enough to constantly be switching the pace of this match to fit their own designs.

Cade Sydal: It’s a smart strategy. If the other guys get comfortable with the pace of the match, its real easy to figure out what might be coming next. This keeps the other guys thinking, and there truthfully aren’t a lot of guys much smarter than Cronos Diamante or Marcus Mirage, let alone the both of them combined.

Together Mirage and Cronos send Devastation off the ropes. They both duck down for a double back body drop, and Devastation kicks up into Mirage’s chest! Devastation hit’s the ropes as Cronos straightens up, but Kid Lightning kicks into Devastation’s back! Devastation turns and swings a forearm at Kid Lightning, who drops off the apron to avoid it, and turns right back toward Cronos! Cronos swings a clothesline and Devastation ducks, but Mirage catches him with a jawbreaker and moves to the side as Cronos comes off the ropes with a lariat across the back of Devastation’s head!

Alan Ducard: A little outside assistance from the third team in this contest!

Bryan Harris: Smart use of someone else’s emotions when the kid can’t even do anything about it just yet!

Jimmy Yates: I wouldn’t be surprised if the Flying Avengers were waiting patiently for their chances to strike, actually…

Cronos backs out of the ring, and Mirage turns Devastation over for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Kid Lightning dashes into the ring and dropkicks Mirage in the side of the face! DJ Cassidy also rushes into the ring, a little after Kid Lightning, and as Kid Lightning gets to his feet Cassidy drives a hard forearm into the side of his head! The forearm sends Kid Lightning crashing to the canvas and Cassidy slowly backs out of the ring, staring at both Flying Avengers as he does. Mirage cradles the side of his head for a moment before using the referee’s distraction to press his palm into Devastation’s throat! As soon as the referee turns his attention back to the action inside the ring, Mirage grabs Devastation by the head and pulls him to his feet.

Cade Sydal: DJ Cassidy is going to have to learn when to contain his emotions if he wants to be a tag team champion…and if he doesn’t want his partner to suffer more. Especially when dealing with guys like Cronos or Mirage.

Jimmy Yates: Or the Flying Avengers.

Mirage sends Devastation into the Flying Avengers corner and rushes in with a running forearm to the side of Devastation’s face! Mirage turns and slaps Kid Lightning across the chest to tag him in, and FLASH quickly steps into the ring and grabs Mirage by the shoulder and back of his tights, whips him around, and launches him through the ropes to the arena floor! Kid Lightning steps through the ropes and pulls Devastation out of the corner by the arm before kicking him in the side of the ribs! FLASH is escorted out of the ring as Kid Lightning kicks Devastation in the ribs hard again! Kid Lightning runs to the ropes and Cronos kicks Kid Lightning in the back! Kid Lightning stumbles forward right into Devastation who hoists him up and turns, planting him with a spine buster!

Alan Ducard: This could be the opening Devastation needs to tag his partner in!

Jimmy Yates: I don’t think he hit that spine buster with all the authority he intended to, but he may have hit it hard enough to at least tag himself out.

Devastation starts crawling on his knees to his corner, as Kid Lightning rolls over onto his side and starts inching toward his own corner! Devastation lunges and tags DJ Cassidy! Kid Lightning lunges and tags in FLASH! FLASH steps through the ropes as Cassidy slingshots over the ropes and rushes at FLASH, hitting him with a running forearm-style clothesline to the chest that sends FLASH back into the ropes! Cassidy follows up right away with a chop into FLASH’s chest! Repeated chops connect with FLASH’s chest and Cassidy whips him off the ropes! FLASH reverses the whip and catches Cassidy with a tilt-a-whirl, but Cassidy lands next to him and snaps back with a Russian leg sweep!

Cade Sydal: Impressive counter from DJ Cassidy, and the kid is showin’ some fire! Good job.

Bryan Harris: I’m kinda surprised you’d even think of rooting against your pupils.

Jimmy Yates: Why? He’s just giving credit where it’s due.

Cade Sydal: What he said…

Cassidy rolls back quickly to his feet and rushes the Agents of Destiny corner, lunging his knee up into Cronos’ chest, sending him off the apron just as Mirage starts back onto the apron himself! Cassidy turns and drives a punch into Mirage’s face, dropping him back down to the floor, and Cassidy turns around right into FLASH who throws Cassidy up into the air and catches him as he comes back down with a lunging European uppercut, picking Cassidy right out of the air with it!

Alan Ducard: And with one swift maneuver, the tide has turned once more!

Bryan Harris: What a display of strength from the young muscle-bound superhero!

FLASH drops to a knee after the maneuver himself, but pushes right back to his feet and flexes his arms eliciting jeers from the fans in attendance!

Cade Sydal: Come on! As impressive as that was, flexing your muscles isn’t going to win the damn match, FLASH! Get your damn head in the game!

FLASH, turns and points his finger at Mirage and Cronos, who make it back onto the apron, before dropping down to make the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THR--!

Cassidy kicks out as FLASH stares at Mirage and Cronos! Devastation starts through the ropes, but Cassidy has already lifted his shoulder, and he slowly backs out of the ring as FLASH pulls Cassidy to his feet. FLASH sends Cassidy quickly into the neutral corner and rushes in after him! Cassidy lifts an elbow, catching FLASH, FLASH stumbles sidelong right into Mirage’s hand against his shoulder! FLASH turns and rushes back at Cassidy, meeting a boot! FLASH stumbles straight back and Cassidy runs out of the corner at him, but FLASH catches Cassidy as he runs out of the corner under the arms and swings him through with a Black Hole Slam!

Jimmy Yates: I don’t think FLASH realizes Mirage tagged himself back in!

Mirage quickly rushes and shoves his entire body into FLASH’s shoulder, sending him off his knees and through the ropes before turning and covering Cassidy!

Bryan Harris: He does now!

ONE!

TWO!

THR--!

Cassidy kicks out! Devastation is again a step too slow, and Mirage quickly pulls Cassidy to his feet and backs up with a front facelock applied, allowing Cronos to tag himself in. They send Cassidy off the ropes, and Cassidy ducks under a double clothesline attempt! He continues off the ropes and hits them with a dropkick, one foot into each chest, sending Mirage and Cronos stumbling back to the ropes! Cassidy nips up to his feet and Mirage rushes at Cassidy, only to have Cassidy drive him down with a back elbow! Cassidy turns right into Cronos who quickly snaps forward with a sudden STO, driving Cassidy back to the canvas!

Alan Ducard: DJ Cassidy showing some guts, fighting back, but Cronos Diamante this time stepped right in and brought this contest back under his team’s control!

Bryan Harris: Say what you will about these two, but they compliment each other very well inside that ring without having to do too much!

Cronos quickly hooks one of Cassidy’s legs!

ONE!

TWO!

Kid Lightning dives into the ring with an elbow to Cronos’ back, breaking up the count, Kid Lightning quickly sprints back out as Mirage starts to come in to get rid of him himself! Cronos stares up at Kid Lightning and pulls Cassidy to his feet, he sends Cassidy off the ropes! Devastation slaps Cassidy’s back, and Cronos swings a clothesline! Cassidy ducks under and catches Cronos in a waistlock as Devastation rushes at him! Devastation hits Cronos with a clothelsine as Cassidy snaps back with a releasing German suplex! Mirage rushes the ring, and Cassidy catches Mirage’s clothesline attempt with his arm and twists around Mirage before snapping back with a backcracker! Mirage bounces off of Cassidy’s knees as Devastation is there to catch him with a snapping power slam!

Jimmy Yates: Devastation and DJ Cassidy are working well together to clear the entire ring!

Cade Sydal: If they keep this up I’m gonna have to be on the look out for moves like that, damn!

Kid Lightning sprints into the ring, and leaps off of Devastation’s back right after the power slam, just as Cassidy is back to his feet, and hits Cassidy with a cross body! Both of them hit the canvas and roll right out of the ring! FLASH Dynamite steps into the ring and quickly catches Devastation as he starts to push to his feet with a clubbing forearm to the back! FLASH quickly hooks in a front facelock and hoists Devastation up so Devastation’s shins are against his hips!

Bryan Harris: He’s going for the Dynamite Drop!

Devastation drives his right hand into FLASH’s ribs, and FLASH releases Devastation! Devastation lands on his feet! Devastation quickly drives a trio of punches into FLASH’s face before turning and hitting the ropes! FLASH catches Devastation as he rebounds with a boot to the abdomen! FLASH hoists Devastation up into a power bomb just as Kid Lightning springs back onto the apron! Kid Lightning springboards off the top rope and turns, landing on Devastation’s shoulders, he snaps back with a reverse hurricanrana, driving Devastation to the canvas!

Alan Ducard: Devastation reversed out of the Dynamite Drop but caught the business end of a Super Explosion!

Suddenly both members of International Incident sprint down to the ring! Bashir and Franks stop at the edge of the ring, shouting at Kid lightning and FLASH Dynamite! Both members of the Flying Avengers turn their attention to the outside forces, and Cronos and Mirage rush up behind them, shoving them from behind through the ropes to the outside! Cronos turns and covers Devastation!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

The bell sounds, and the fans begin to boo! FLASH Dynamite and Kid Lightning look back into the ring and slap the ring apron, before turning back to Allen Franks and Mostafa Bashir, pointing threateningly at them! Meanwhile, in the ring, Cronos Diamante and Marcus Mirage raise their hands in victory, while DJ Cassidy slides back into the ring to check on Devastation!

Josephina Colbert: Here are your winners, and STILL LEGACY WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Marcus Mirage and Cronos Diamante! The AGENTS OF DESTINYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

The tag team titles are handed to Mirage and Cronos, and they both raise the belts over their head before turning to look at Cade Sydal on commentary.

Bryan Harris: Looks like they’re telling you to get in line, because they’re not going to be intimidated or bullied by you.

Cade Sydal: I welcome the challenge and opportunity, honestly. They’re great champions and they were smart and cunning in picking up that victory.

Alan Ducard: It was certainly not as tainted a victory as some matches I've seen, though International Incident getting involved didn't make for a clearly decisive winner... and there seemed to be something slightly... OFF about Devastation's performance.

Jimmy Yates: Yeah, I'm not sure what it was, but you're right about that.

Witness the Rebirth

The camera heads backstage, and immediately we see familiar figure, but he’s dressed much differently than we’ve seen him lately. Gone is the blue business suit, and there are no blue jeans here. He's wearing new dark crimson tights and a LEGACY t-shirt – above the LEGACY Logo it says “Kidd's”. The old familiar strand of hair dyed crimson hangs in front of his left eye as he looks directly into the camera.

Kidd: It's been a long time since I walked down that aisle. If you asked Dorothy she would let you all know that we aren't in Winston-Salem anymore. I might have suffered what many thought would be a career ending injury, but if I've taught the fans at home watching this anything, it's that the spirit never dies. I never gave up on them, and I'm hoping when I walk out there tonight I will see that they haven't given up on me.

Patrick stops for a moment, and even then he can hear some cheers coming from the ringside area.

Kidd: The last time I stepped into the ring with Greyson Blade it was surrounded in steel and we both lost a lot of blood and left the arena on stretchers. Tonight there is no cage and I don't plan to leave on a stretcher. However, although Greyson may be my friend, but tonight, tonight he is my opponent and he will be the first to realize that Patrick Kidd is more than shadow of the past. Tonight in that ring the world will witness the rebirth of Patrick Kidd.

The camera zooms in on the front of Patrick's shirt that says Kidd's LEGACY and Kidd turns around and printed across the back is “To Be Continued” ...

As Kidd finishes with those words, the scene shifts elsewhere backstage and we find The Outlaw staring intently at a large monitor playing the show backstage. As Kidd finishes he looks away from the monitor, with an agitated look on his face. It is then that he feels an arm over each of his shoulders, and a familiar voice.

Adam Davis: Sounds to me like he's ready to go all out tonight Grey-guy - don't let that "it's not personal" nonsense fool you. It's very personal to him, and that pathetic tag-a-long is going to try to make a comeback at YOUR expense - at LEGACY's expense. It's a pretty slippery slope. First he banks on your history and past with him. Next week he leeches off someone else from the old days. This is your opportunity to make a point. Do this not just for you, but for all of us from that dysfunctional "family." You're a family man, right Greyson?

Greyson glares at Davis, who tries to show warmth with his words and then leans over to wrap his arm around Blade's shoulders.

Ledge: Do you think losing to that ragdoll is going to do anything for you? He knows that and should know how losing to such a joke could tarnish your future World Title hopes. Look at his focus and drive. He's a desperate man Blade - that's all you really need to know - take him out before this goes any further.

Greyson says nothing but turns and glares at Ledge who smiles knowingly at Greyson as Davis takes his arm off The Outlaw and gives a pat on the back as both VIP members leave Blade to think.

Casting Blame

Kenji is sitting alone on a steel folding chair, his eyes are completely empty as he stares a hole in the wall in front of him. His teeth are gritted together tightly and his hands are balled up tightly as every ounce of him seems to be restraining itself from going crazy.

Kenji's blank stare is broken when he hears footsteps coming down the hallway.

Voice: Well, well, well... Whoever said a little gift goes a long way wasn't lying.

Stephen Rawlings steps up.

Stephen Rawlings: I wonder if that rings true to men who are only a little gifted... AKA YOU?

Kenji turns his face away from Rawlings, his fists start to shake as he clenches them into a ball even tighter. His eyes seem to pulsate with anger and his voice slithers out from between clenched teeth.

Kenji: Rawlings...what...what do you want?

Stephen Rawlings: I have a bone to pick with you asshole. Because of your shitty performance at the ppv, I don't have a match tonight. Because... If you had been any fricken good people woulda actually cared about and/or liked our match. But nooooo you sucked it up, and now I'M the one reaping the stupid f*cking consequences!

Kenji practically explodes from his seat and pushes Rawlings up against the wall by the collar. Every inch of him seems to be fuming, his breathing has become sparatic and heavy and his eyes are wide and animalistic.

Kenji: Rawlings...I swear to God, get out of my face. I don't give a f**k what complaints you have or what delusions you think are MY PROBLEM. But I'm about two seconds away from ripping your f**cking head clean off your god damn shoulders.

Kenji lets go of Rawlings collar and turns his back him, Kenji puts a hand on his face almost as if the burst of anger exhausted him mentally.

Stephen grins.

Stephen Rawlings: Aww, come on... THAT is the best you got? All these tall tales about how gruesome you are, and you can’t even convince yourself to hit precious little me? Too fucking bad!

He grabs the folding chair and slams it into the back of Kenji's head.

Stephen Rawlings: That's for being a douche. See ya round.

He drops the chair and laughs as he is walking away

??? Match
Justin Moreno vs John Thomas

Alan Ducard: Ladies and Gentlemen our next Super Card match up features two gentlemen looking to really build upon their success from Strife 56 and continue making a statement as we head towards our next PPV event.

Jimmy Yates: J-Mo and JT were impressive in defeat at DFG, and were impressive in victory at Strife 56. We have to think that a string of strong performances just might put at least one of these guys back into title contention.

Bryan Harris: It could Jimbo, and my money is on JT in this one. That submission style, that efficient targeting of the shoulder combined with the Crossface Chickenwing – it can beat anyone at any time.

Jimmy Yates: It could, but Moreno has some high impact moves of his own that can both an opponent of any size down for the count – if he can somehow hit Extreme Measures or even the M-80 – no one is getting up from the M-80.

Alan Ducard: Well gents lets see how this very important match plays out – will it be a story of submissions and the Crossface Chickenwing or high flying and the M-80? Let's roll the footage.

The footage begins with Moreno in motion, heading towards the buckles – at the last moment he leaps up and over JT, positioning the second man in the corner. Moreno leaps up at JT in the corner, and flips him out of the buckles with the monkey flip! JT hits the canvas but gets back to his feet as quickly as possible as Moreno charges him. JT sidesteps and hooks and takes Moreno over with a hip toss! Moreno is back up quickly, but JT hip tosses him again! Moreno is up again albeit a little slower, but he manages to block JT's third attempt, strikes him in the face, spins under the arm into a hammerlock, and then leaps forward, driving JT face down into the canvas with a bulldog.

Alan Ducard: Moreno seems to have gotten the better of that exchange, but its been all back and forth in the early going of this one gents.

Jimmy Yates: Both of these guys are smaller fighters and rely on speed, but John has a truly advanced submission game while Moreno's style is more aerial and unorthodox.

Bryan Harris: Moreno is too much of a risk-taker for my liking Jimbo – those “high flying rewards” are also “high risk” and Moreno could easily crash and burn – a fatal mistake in the ring with a guy like John Thomas.

Alan Ducard: Well, Moreno now moving into position over JT following that bulldog and there's a standing Shooting Star Press – what an amazing display of athleticism from the former ToV Champion!

Jimmy Yates: Moreno looks like he could be building some momentum here -

Following the SSP, Moreno pulls JT to his feet and goes for the Irish whip, but JT reverses and sends him into the buckles. JT follows him into the buckles, and this time connects with a clothesline in the corner before delivering a hard elbow to the jaw. JT delivers another wicked shot with the elbow before hitting a hard knee, and lifting Moreno up and placing him on the buckles. JT attempts to follow up, but a stinging right hand from Moreno causes him to step back down, and another allows J-Mo to hook JT by the head in the corner, and a moment later …

Alan Ducard: Tornado DDT! Moreno with the tornado DDT out of the corner, and he plants John Thomas right on his head! Moreno now flipping over and into a pin!

ONE

TWO-NO!

John gets his shoulder off the canvas and this match will continue.

Jimmy Yates: It does, but Moreno is looking to maintain control of the match here and he's already pulling John to his feet, and there's a kick to the back of the leg, and another, and another, and Moreno leaps up and goes for the Pele kick – NO!

Bryan Harris: JT had him scouted, and he moved out of range of that kick and Moreno hits the canvas.

Alan Ducard: JT moves in on Moreno and he has the arm into the hammerlock! He pulls J-Mo up and there's the hammerlock belly to back suplex, and the targeting of the shoulder has begun.

***Flash Forward***

The footage continues with JT wrenching J-Mo's arm and driving the elbow into the shoulder multiple times until he drives Moreno down to one knee. John then moves into the hammerlock and sends J-Mo off headlong between the buckles and shoulder first into the ringpost as the crowd doesn't hesitate to voice its collective displeasure as John's actions.

Jimmy Yates: Listen to this crowd jeering JT right now – they don't those tactics one bit as J-Mo isn't moving between the buckles after that impact on the shoulder.

Bryan Harris: They may not like it – hec even the referee might not like it, but it sure wasn't going to get JT disqualified in this match.

Alan Ducard: True Bryan, and that move was just the latest in John's assault on that shoulder. Moreno has tried to mount a counter-offensive multiple times, but John has effectively used that shoulder each time to turn the tide back in his favor.

After its clear that J-Mo isn't going to back out of the corner on his own, John goes to the buckles and pulls J-Mo out f only to slam him face first into the turnbuckle. With J-Mo somewhat dazed, he then moves in and lifts J-Mo up to that Justin is sitting across John's shoulders. John then heaves him off and down in a sort of “electric chair drop” but he drops Moreno forward, face first on the buckles! The crowd groans with the impact as Moreno recoils from the head trauma and and he falls to the canvas. JT then moves in and applies the hammerlock on Moreno on the canvas and he drives his a knee into Moreno's shoulder drawing a grunt of anguish from Moreno.

Bryan Harris: It's great strategy here from JT – stun Moreno and use that opening to further destroy that shoulder and come up with another big win in as many Strifes.

Jimmy Yates: A win here would be big for either of these guys – Bryan – both had loses at DFG in spite of great performances, and both were victorious last week. A victory here could really get that momentum back for them.

Alan Ducard: John Thomas with another shot to the shoulder and another knee right down on it, and now he has J-Mo up and there's the snap suplex from JT. JT doesn't cover though and has Moreno back to his feet and there's the Irish whip, NO! J-MO pulls up and HIT THE PELE KICK! The kick connects flush and there's the opening J-Mo needed! Moreno is up and still clutching that shoulder, he runs and … SHINING WIZARD! Both men are down!

Jimmy Yates: What a great match! The athleticism of J-Mo, the technical prowess of JT – this is fantastic!

***Flash Forward***

We see J-Mo hurtling through the air from the top rope and crashing down on to JT on the outside, taking both men to the arena floor.

Alan Ducard: Ever since the Pele kick/shining wizard combination, J-Mo has been in control of this match, and he decided to take this to the arena floor now, and it looks as if one of those fabled “high risk” moves just paid off for Huntingdon Beach's Most Extreme.

Moreno slowly gets to his feet, but faster than JT, still clutching that arm, rolling inside the ring to break any sort of count before he starts savagely kicking away at JT. Moreno rolls back inside the ring before coming out once more and slamming JT face first barrier.

Bryan Harris: Come on – this is a wrestling match, not a brawl – the official needs to stop this nonsense and get them back into the ring.

Jimmy Yates: Moreno is using the ring and ringside area to his advantage just like JT used the ringpost earlier Bryan, and now Moreno is heading up to the apron … he has something planned out there.

Alan Ducard: JT is back to his feet and here comes Moreno leaping and there's the big hurricanrana off the apron and tossing JT on to the concrete floor!

After the hurricanrana, Moreno carefully pulls JT to his feet and rocks him with multiple kicks to the legs and body before rolling him back inside the ring and driving an elbow down across his throat. With that Moreno pulls himself up on the apron and then using the ropes he spring boards himself over the top rope looking for a seton-style splash, but JT gets his knees up and drives them up into J-Mo's back against all of Moreno's falling weight!

Bryan Harris: Big time move from JT on that counter, and Moreno looks to be in a bad way here after that impact.

Alan Ducard: Agreed Bryan – he's clutching at his spine and here comes JT from behind and there's a clothesline to the back of the head, knocking J-Mo off his feet, and JT scoops up Moreno and delivers a shoulder breaker, driving the knee right down into that injured shoulder.

With that JT takes a moment to recover as J-Mo rolls around on the canvas, clutching his shoulder.

***Flash Forward***

The scene springs to life as JT hammers J-Mo with a giant chop to the chest, then another, and another before hooking J-Mo's arms, torquing the shoulder as he takes J-Mo up and over with a double-arm suplex.

Alan Ducard: The big suplex on J-Mo, stressing that arm/shoulder even more, and now JT is pulling Moreno to his feet. There's a kick tot he midsection, and JT has Moreno up and … PILEDRIVER! He hits a piledriver in the middle of the ring, and now JT is looking to make the cover!

ONE

TWO

THRE-NO! J-Mo gets the shoulder up!

Bryan Harris: Why won't he just stay down?

Jimmy Yates: Moreno didn't get to where he is now and pay his dues for this many years to just “give up” Bryan.

Bryan Harris: Well he will its just whether he does it now and saves the agony or JT forces him to tap!

Alan Ducard: Here comes JT with a big Irish whip, face first to the buckles, and here comes JT … CROSSFACE CH-NO! Moreno spins out and … sitout facebuster!

Jimmy Yates: He just drove JT's face right into the canvas, and now Moreno is sizing up JT and … CORKSCREW SPINNING HEEL KICK! He connects! Moreno is building up a head of steam … Moreno now off the ropes backspring – NO!

Alan Ducard: J-Mo was looking for that backspring/roaring elbow combination he calls the “Razzle-Dazzle” but his shoulder gave on out that backspring and he's down!

Bryan Harris: And right where JT wants him …

Alan Ducard: Moreno's shoulder is shot, and he's trying to get back to his feet, to retain the momentum, but here's JT with the hammerlock … TO THE HAMMERLOCK DDT! He just planted Moreno with that signature DDT, and now he sizing him up.

The crowd can sense Moreno's dire situation, and they begin rallying around him with a J-Mo chant breaking out, but all the cheering is to no avail as JT clutches him …

Bryan Harris: CROSSFACE CHICKENWING!

Alan Ducard: JT has that submission cinched on tight! Moreno is struggling but he's not making any head way breaking the hold. He's leaning, pulling JT towards the ropes, but there's no way he's going to reach!

Jimmy Yates: J-Mo is all heart, but I'm not sure even he can last much longer! J-Mo's arm is wavering, he's seeming like he might fade and the official is in position! He's asking him if he gives …

Bryan Harris: J-Mo is going to submit!

Alan Ducard: JT is tightening his grip, cinching in that hold tighter … Moreno planting his feet still trying to get to the ropes and … HE GETS HIS FEET UP AND PUSHES OFF THE TOP ROPE IN THE CORNER! HE'S FLIPPED BACK OVER ON JT! ITS A PIN!

ONE

TWO

THREE!

With that the official signals for the bell, and JT releases the hold in shock as Josephina Colber makes the announcement.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match … JUSTIN MOREEEEEEEEEEENO!

Bryan Harris: NO!

Jimmy Yates: Yes Bryan … JT got his shoulder up just a fraction of a second too late!

Bryan Harris: But there was no way Moreno was going to escape …

Alan Ducard: I would agree with you there Bryan, but J-Mo used that amazing athletic ability to put JT in a pinning predicament, and he came out the winner of this match up.

International Update

The scene comes to life inside London's Heathrow Airport at the baggage claim area on screens around the arena and on television sets across the world. The baggage area is quite busy with many anxious travelers looking for their luggage, but the crowd gives two massive individuals a rather wide berth. We see them from the back as they step forward in unison, and each grabs his bag and turns. As they turn we see Ben “RAGE” Murdock and Steve “VENOM” O'Reily dressed in khaki pants, RAGE in a red polo shirt, VENOM in black. As they step away from the claim area they spot the LEGACY camera crew that had been waiting for their landing to get a word with them, and they film them on approach.

RAGE: Looks like the crew made it.

VENOM: We might as well make use of it, people probably are wondering what's going on with us since PPV and why we weren't looking to take AoD to the woodshed for what they pulled at DFG. I know I would be asking if I didn't already know what was going down.

RAGE: Well alright then – as you can see we aren't exactly there at the Super Card, and unfortunately for you fans in the USA and fortunately for the chumps holding on to our belts, we won't be coming to you at live for a little while. You see, shortly after DFG, Trent got us a co-headlining position on a LEGACY International tour of Europe. Now, granted its not chasing down the LEGACY Tag Team Straps which will be our prime focus when we return– but this is a hell of an opportunity for us. Ever since we've been wrestling, we've only ever wrestled in the United States – this gives us an opportunity to work overseas and experience and learn some different styles, and work with some great international talent.

VENOM: You mean BEAT some international talent.

Steve O'Reily continues with a momentary grin.

VENOM: I know we are going to learn a lot, but we aren't here to get schooled night in and night out – we're here to establish ourselves on a world stage, to show that why the best tag team in LEGACY is also the best tag team in the world.

RAGE: World Wide Domination?

VENOM: Exactly.

With that the former Tag Team Champions head off from the camera crew and head for transportation services.

No Limits Championship Match
Chris Turner vs Ethan Leers ©

Bryan Harris: Next up is this evening’s No Limits Championship match.

Alan Ducard: Back at Destined for Greatness, Ethan Leers cemented his place in LEGACY history with his victory in the four-way match for the No Limits Title, putting the belt in his possession as he was the last man who will probably ever pin Damien Black – who was gravely injured in a fall just moments before the match ended.

Jimmy Yates: It was Chris Turner who caused the damage to Damien Black, pulling him off of the balcony, throwing him through the table on the stage below, and then somehow finding a way to toss him off the stage with the only energy he had left at that point.

Alan Ducard: Chris Turner felt that Ethan Leers took advantage of HIS hard work, and so he demanded that Leers give him tonight’s title shot as payment.

Bryan Harris: Sure, Ethan Leers was a bit of an opportunist at D.F.G., but Chris Turner was in no position to make a pinfall on his rival Damien Black, and so we should all be thanking Leers for making the pinfall instead of letting Crazy Boy get anywhere near an opportunity to retain the belt.

Jimmy Yates: Ethan Leers doesn’t back down from a fight, so he didn’t back down from this opportunity to get into the ring and get raucous and hardcore… so let’s see what happened.

Start of Match Footage

We join the match in progress with Chris Turner trying to execute some standing head-butts to Ethan Leers. After he connects a few of them, Ethan Leers claws at the head of Turner, drawing blood. Irate, Turner picks up Leers in position for a power-slam. He slams Leers into the turnbuckles before coming down with a second power-slam onto the canvas as he goes for a pin.

Alan Ducard: By jove, what a power-slam! Will it be enough?

One…

Two…

Bryan Harris: Leers manages to kick out at two! And the cult goes wild…

Jimmy Yates: Turner’s going to have to do more than that to keep Leers down.

Turner pounds the canvas in frustration as he goes underneath the ring and grabs a chair. Leers slowly pulls himself to his feet and as Turner turns around, he’s met with a kick to the groin by Leers as he doubles over in pain.

Alan Ducard: There’s a malfunction at the junction, folks!

Bryan Harris: Who are you trying to be here? Ed Whalen? This isn’t the 1980’s and we’re not in Calgary!

Jimmy Yates: Well, while you two are jabbering back and forth, Leers is going under the ring.

Ethan Leers pulls out a box of light tubes and pulls out one, striking Turner in the groin again with it as it shatters into several pieces.

Alan Ducard: Oh, Good heavens, that can’t be good…

Bryan Harris: It looks like Chris Turner’s having his period after getting hit right there.

Jimmy Yates: And with one light-tube shot to the groin, the earth is spared from Chris Turner reproducing…

Ethan Leers then picks up a light tube shard and embeds it into his elbow pad as he whips Turner into the corner and hits his Turnbuckle Forearm Smash as Turner is busted open at this point. Not satisfied, Leers folds out the steel chair and goes back to Turner, repeatedly kneeing him in the head before hitting a face-crusher onto the steel chair.

Alan Ducard: What a bloody lethal Head Rush by Ethan Leers! Could this be enough?

One…

Two…

Bryan Harris: Turner kicked out at the last possible second… that man is simply not human.

Jimmy Yates: Have we ever thought Turner had any shred of humanity?

***** Flash Forward *****

We now go to later in the match with Ethan Leers setting up a table in the corner as Chris Turner tries to get to his feet. When Leers sees Turner coming, he throws a chair at him. Turner retreats, and heads back toward him, only to get a chair thrown at him a second time. The third time, Turner just charges Leers in the corner as we see Leers mouth the words "OH F**K!" as he gets speared through the table much to the delight of the blood-thirsty LEGACY fans.

Alan Ducard: Good gracious, he just broke Ethan Leers in half with that spear!

Bryan Harris: The cult can’t be too happy about this…

Jimmy Yates: Ethan Leers just had his insides rearranged on that spear! But will it be enough?

Turner tosses the wood aside from the impact as he goes to pin Leers.

Alan Ducard: There’s the pin! We could have a new No Limits champion!

One…

Two…

Thre…

Bryan Harris: We were one-tenth of a second away from a new No Limits champion!

Jimmy Yates: And Turner looks absolutely furious about that!

Furious, Turner goes to pick up Leers, but is hit with a shard of the table over the head, dazing him. Leers then kicks Turner in the groin hard before grabbing a couple of light tubes, running against the ropes, and hitting his Revolution Breaker (modified Lung-Blower) as Turner goes down hard.

Alan Ducard: By jove, there’s the Revolution Breaker! And that should be it…

One…

Two…

THREE!!!

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match and STILL… LEGACY No Limits Champion… Ethan Leers!!!

Bryan Harris: Well, it may not have been total dominance, but Ethan Leers manages to find a way to retain the No Limits title.

Jimmy Yates: One has to wonder if anyone’s going to be able to stop Leers…

Alan Ducard: It appears that Frank Garvin might want to throw his name into the proverbial hat!

The cameras quickly switch over to the bottom of the ramp where we spot Frank Garvin, who quickly hops up onto the apron. Ethan Leers gets wide eyed and isn’t sure what to do, and before he can go anywhere, Leers is drilled with a running kick to the head that levels him.

Bryan Harris: Good lord, what a kick!!

Jimmy Yates: And now Garvin’s focus is changing, and Turner’s going to be in a heap of trouble!

Turning around, Frank Garvin takes two steps forward, drops to his knees and begins mercilessly drilling Chris Turner in the face with punch after punch after punch. The referee calls for the bell and moves in, trying to get Frank Garvin to stop, but he has no success.

Alan Ducard: Frank Garvin unrelentingly going to work on Chris Turner, who’s now busted open.

As the referee continues to try to pry Garvin away, Frank sticks his thumbs in the sides of Turner’s mouth and pulls it outward into a sadistic smile, bringing a smirk to his own face. Then, suddenly Frank rubs his hands all over Turner’s forehead, which is bleeding quite a bit at this point, shoves the referee out of the way with his elbow, clearing some room.

Jimmy Yates: What is he…

Bryan Harris: He’s making a portrait!!

Wiping his bloody hands on the mat, Frank smears the crimson stain into a smiley face on the mat, then just stands right up and backs up, seemingly comparing Chris Turner’s face with the one he drew on the mat. Throwing himself backwards over the top rope, Frank Garvin stumbles down to the arena floor below, ignoring Ethan Leers as he passes by him.

International Opportunity

Pulling a cameraman along with him, Osamu Hayashi looks frustrated as he moves towards a LEGACY backdrop, typically used for backstage interviews. Stopping, Osamu straightens his signature AoD tshirt and then addresses the camera directly.

Osamu Hayashi: I thought I would have the rest of the night off, but after seeing the little update from Domination, I need to make an announcement.

Looking away momentarily, Osamu's frustration is evident.

Osamu Hayashi: I thought this would wait until STRIFE 58, but I will not be upstaged by those two. At Destined for Greatness, I was roped into a fight with Katsuro Yoshida in a LEGACY International ring - they used my contract wording against me, KNOWING that English is not my first language.

A smirk comes over his face.

Osamu Hayashi: I knew how bad they wanted that match, and because I was confident that I would win against Katsuro, I made a deal with the people of LEGACY International. If I won the match, I would get a shot at the LEGACY International Champion - John Iley.

His smirk turning into a full-fledged smile, you can see just how proud of himself the Agent of Destiny is.

Osamu Hayashi: At STRIFE 58, it becomes official as I sign the contract.

Secret of My Success

The scene is back-stage following Justin Moreno's match with John Thomas as we see Moreno walking toward the back when Andrew Kelley flags down J-Mo for a quick interview.

Andrew Kelley: J-Mo, can we get some quick thoughts on your win over John Thomas?

Moreno pauses for a moment to collect his thoughts before he starts to speak.

Justin Moreno: Honestly, I gotta say that was one of the biggest tests I've had in a while, but if it wasn't for the training techniques that Gryffin Anselm taught me, there might have been a different winner in that match. So I gotta thank him for all that he taught me the past couple of weeks.

The interviewer looks surprised.

Andrew Kelley: Wait, do you mean to say that you and Gryffin Anselm trained together for THIS match?! HE trained YOU to BEAT John Thomas?!

Justin Moreno: He didn't focus specifically on things that John would do, he just sorta showed me some ways to avoid some common pitfalls that I might've fallen into against an opponent LIKE John Thomas...

Andrew Kelley: I'm not sure I understand the distinction.

A voice responds from off camera.

Voice: If you have time next week...

Walking up from behind Andrew Kelley and patting Justin on the shoulder, Gryffin appears in the scene.

Gryffin Anselm: ...I could show you the distinction.

Andrew Kelley: Oh, ha, yeah right. I'm not a wrestler, I wouldn't last ten minutes in one of your training sessions from what I've heard...

Letting out a chuckle, Anselm shrugs.

Gryffin Anselm: You might get tired after watching me train someone else for 10 minutes, but hey, all the great investigative reporters like to get in on the action, right?

Andrew Kelley: Hold on, didn't I see a video from earlier in the week where you were talking to John Thomas, trying to convince him to show up to train with you?

Gryffin Anselm: US... train with "us", not just me. I had it in mind to have both Justin Moreno and John Thomas both show up and have some sparring sessions with mild contact, and so their match tonight would've been more about who had learned more about their opponent instead of finding out who had trained better for the match.

Andrew Kelley: I can imagine John isn't going to like the fact that you helped Justin Moreno beat him tonight, especially with the rumors surrounding what this match determined.

Looking confused, Justin first looks at Gryffin, then back over at Andrew Kelley.

Justin Moreno: Wait, what do you mean about that?

Patting Moreno on the shoulder, Gryffin speaks up.

Gryffin Anselm: From what I hear, you just got yourself one step closer to one of your big goals... but I don't want to say anything else just in case the rumors are false. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an Albino to deal with.

Anselm walks off, leaving Justin Moreno to wonder what's going on.

Tao of Valor Championship
Submission Match
Matthew Dawson vs Laura Seton ©

Alan Ducard: Our next contest will be contested for the Tao of Valor Championship. It will be battled under Submission Match rules, and will be a rematch between Laura Seton and Matthew Dawson.

Jimmy Yates: Dawson and Seton battled in this very same match, for this very same title at Strife 50. A match that Laura Seton won-

Bryan Harris: But she didn't win the belt that night, Yates!

Alan Ducard: This time around, Laura is the champ. Dawson is the challenger. Lets get to the ring and see these two combatants attempt to settle their blood feud once and for all!

Bryan Harris: Plus we had a special guest ringside!

Jimmy Yates: Yeah, I don't know why Loco Martinez felt the need to join us-

Bryan Harris: Cuz he wasn't on the show, and he wanted to make sure the Supercard got the ratings only THE Legacy Superstar can pull!

Alan Ducard: Or maybe he's a man who can't tolerate to be out of the spotlight for a single night!

Start of Match Footage

Laura leaps to the middle turnbuckle and launches back into a turning high cross body. Driving Dawson to the mat hard. The crowd roars as Laura jumps to her feet pumping her fist, excitedly.

Bryan Harris: Man... the way she's pumping that fist...

Jimmy Yates: Stop.

Loco Martinez: Seriously that was inadvertently dirty. Not very "Milk and Cookies" at all.

Laura drops a leg across Dawson's throat. She then grabs Matthew by his left leg, and steps over, rolling Dawson onto his stomach and leaning back in a single legged crab.

Loco Martinez: I always knew Laura had crabs!

Alan Ducard: You proud of yourself?

Laura leans back and lets out a competitive howl telling the referee to "ASK HIM!" The referee drops down and asks Dawson if he quits, and grinds his teeth and shakes his head "no". Laura leans back even further, straining Dawson's left quad painfully. Dawson tries to press out of the half crab, but falls to the mat after a few moments. He shakes his head "no" again as the referee checks once more. Dawson takes a deep breath and starts to crawl to the ropes. The crowd begins a "Set-On" chant urging their heroine on. Dawson crawls some more. And we hear the thud of play by play headset hitting the table.

Jimmy Yates: Where is he going?

Loco Martinez walks to the apron. We hear him yelling "What's that Laura?" Laura looks over her shoulder, half confused, half annoyed. Loco puts both hands on the bottom rope and leans on it, feigning an attempt to "get closer to hear", but really pushing the bottom rope towards Matthew Dawson who is now just inches from the bottom rope. He gets his hand on it, and Loco quickly lets go shouting "Break the hold ref!" as he walks back to the announce table.

Alan Ducard: Care you explain yourself?

Loco Martinez: I thought Laura wanted to ask me something... maybe about her little sister's visit to my alma mater.... I guess I was mistaken.

Jimmy Yates: And you helping Dawson get to the ropes?

Loco Martinez: What are you talking about, Yates? I was just trying to hear Laura over all these people who can't close their pie holes.

The referee is up to three and Laura releases the hold. She stands up, absolutely livid. She turns and glares at Loco shouting. "What are you doing?" Loco throws his hands up innocently. She stomps her foot on the mat once, out of frustration and as she turns she is double over by a boot from Matthew Dawson. He grabs her in a front facelock and plants her with a DDT. Dawson smirks as he takes a moment to catch his breath he bounces off the ropes and then nails a baseball slide dropkick into the champ's ribs. Dawson is back up quickly and drops a knee into that same ribcage area.

Alan Ducard: Dawson starting to focus on the ribcage. Maybe looking to soften the area up for a submission, as well as to decrease the ease with which Laura Seton can draw breaths.

Bryan Harris: That was a lot of words for you to say "make it harder for her to breath", Al.

Dawson bings Laura to her feet. Scoops her up, and slams her down with authority. Dawson winds up with his boot and stomps down with authority into the center of Laura's chest.

Bryan Harris: Not the chesticals, Matt!

Jimmy Yates: You're hopeless.

Dawson again winds up and delivers a nasty stomp. The crowd begins a "Se-Ton!" chant. Dawson smirks cockily and drives one more boot right to Laura's sternum. Dawson grabs Laura and drags her up. Scoops her up and again nails a violent rib shaking body slam.

Alan Ducard: Its not the flashiest nor most complex maneuver. But it is, no doubt taking a toll on Laura Seton.

Dawson smirks and drops an elbow across Laura. He then shoots a half nelson rolling Laura onto her stomach. He places her arm between his legs, and makes an over dramatic "O-face".

Jimmy Yates: Shades of their last encounter. Dawson looking to lock in this cross face, complete with a heavy dose of sexual harassment.

Dawson then snarls and locks in the cross face with viciousness. Laura lets out a growl of pain. The referee goes to check on Laura. He asks if she wants to stop it. She shouts "NO!" Dawson wrenches back even harder trying to put a stop to this match and make himself the Tao of Valor champion once again.

Laura's eyes focus on the bottom rope which is only three feet away. She takes her free arm and reaches, desperately. We again hear the sound of a announcers headset "clunking to the table".

Alan Ducard: Not again... Loco, this isn't your fight!

Loco makes his way ringside. He stands right in Laura's sight line. This gives her a surge of adrenaline, and she makes a huge push towards the ropes. She extends her hand is is just a foot away. She pushes with her legs and reaches and she is almost with in reach. The crowd roars. Urging her to continue to reach for the rope break. Loco's eyes widen with surprise at witnessing this sudden energy surge. He checks to makes sure the referee isn't looking and then he flashes a cheshire cat grin and quickly grabs the bottom rope and pulls backwards, out of desperation. The crowd boos mercilessly.

Alan Ducard: This is ridiculous. What reason does he have to do this?

Bryan Harris: Boredom? He said he would make his presence felt, and I think he's a man who backs up his words!

The referee turns to check on Laura. Loco quickly lets go of the ropes, and turns around to the crowd. Hands behind his back and whistles so as to look completely innocent.

Jimmy Yates: Like that act fools anyone.

The referee asks Laura again if she quits. She shakes her head vehemently "No". And as the referee goes to the timer's table and says she said no, Loco looks at Laura and mouths. "Do you want me to leave?" Laura screams out YES! The referee spins hearing the "Yes" and assuming its Laura changing her mind about wanting to quit. He calls for the bell. The crowd stands there stunned. Laura and Matthew Dawson look confused for a moment before they each realize what just happened.

On the outside Loco's eyes widen for a moment, before he starts laughing manically. Laura stares at him, absolutely livid. The referee walks over with the Tao of Valor championship and hands it to Matthew Dawson who hoists its proudly into the air. The crowd boos and we hear a loud "Bull-SHIT!" chant start up. Laura gets up and gets in the referee's face. She is red faced, arguing her point, but the referee shakes his head, pointing to his ears, saying "I heard what I heard, Laura". Laura kicks the hell out of the bottom rope and stomps angrily.

Alan Ducard: I can't believe that slimy weasel cost Laura Seton the title in such a fashion. The referee was out of place. He didn't see what transpired, but he heard Laura say "Yes" and the last question he had asked, was "do you quit?" I...I... I'm stunned.

Josephina Colbert: The winner of this match... and NEW Tao of Valor Champion... MATTHEW.... DAAAAAAAAWWWWSSSSOOOONNNNN!!!!

The crowd boos as Loco Martinez walks backwards up the entrance ramp... gleefully laughing to himself.

Alan Ducard: its dispicable how proud of himself he is. Look at how much he's enjoying watching Laura's tantrum. He says he's the standard of this company... of this INDUSTRY? He's a piece of garbage!

Loco gets to the top of the ramp, and he stops, as Dawson walks by cradling his new championship. Laura kicks the bottom ropes glaring daggers through Loco. Loco stops and gestures for a microphone. A production assistant runs one up quickly. The crowd is doing their best to boo over the man who just cost Laura the Tao of Valor Championship.

Loco Martinez: I have watched LEGACY protect that *Loco points at Laura* "athlete" - and I use that term loosely... I've watched Manage-lote bend over backwards to make sure their "precious little flower" stay un-sullied. While REAL talent is shuffled to the side. Talent like ME! Instead LEGACY rewards every freak... every person that isn't in MY league... and they go out of their way to protect them, and shine the spotlight that yearns to fall on my brow, and they put it on your hardcore has beens, and guys who didn't SEE a spotlight in that cesspool in OPW.

Crowd boos, and a faint "O-P-dub" chant starts up, Loco rolls his eyes.

Loco Martinez: Guys like Davis and Entragian and Kidd and Crazy Boy... Guys of that "type" ... who aren't in MY league and damn sure don't belong in MY Ring *Loco points at the ring Laura is standing in for emphasis* - And while she may not be as hardcore as her little forum picture her in their minds? She embodies everything that is wrong in this growing trend in the company I... MADE!!! There is no clearer example of this than Miss WNBA in that ring. She wants to run with the big boys? Welcome to ground zero, bitchcakes *Laura is offended by Loco's use of the "b" word* ... I just evened that playing field. Like an Anti-Title 9, I made sure that LEGACY's continuing "Let our freak flag fly" policy took a hit. And i will continue to do everything in my god given power to rid this world of the wrongs I see. One man... or "WOMAN" - I also use THAT term loosely - at a time. That's step one. And a lesson little miss hissy fit needs to learn NOW-

Loco narrows his eyes towards Laura and speaks with clear intensity

Loco Martinez: Legacy can't protect you forever. And if you dare come and get in MY face? *Loco chuckles to himself almost giddy with the prospect* ... I will make sure what I did to Moxley will look like Patty - f*ckin'-CAKE!

Loco spikes the mic down forcefully and and flashes a cocky smirk. Laura still glaring wholes him.

Trying to Catch Up

The scene shifts to the halls backstage; Kenji is seen rumbling down the halls. One of his hands is firmly placed on the back of his head and his eyes are filled with fiery rage. Every footstep pounds onto the ground with a fierce determination as he stops in front one of the locker rooms. A plaque on the door that says “Stephen Rawlings” can be seen for a moment before Kenji rams his shoulder into the door forcing it open.

Kenji: Where the f**k are you, Rawlings!? You stupid little…I GAVE you a chance to just WALK away. GET OUT HERE! I’m gonna break every god damn bone in your body…EVERY BONE! YOU HEAR ME!? WHERE ARE YOU!?

But no one is in the locker room, however, Kenji walks towards a lone piece of paper sticking out of one of the lockers. Kenji snatches it out of the locker while still holding the back of his head and reads it.

Sorry I missed you...
I placed out some tea and crumpets for you. Make yourself at home.
I'll be back, well... Never.
It was pointless staying, so I went home.
XOXO

Kenji’s crumples the paper in his shaking fist, Kenji’s entire being seems to seethe with anger before he lets out a primal scream of rage from the bottom of his gut. Kenji smashes his fist into the locker with a terrible clang and then grabs the locker and turns it over on its side. Kenji grabs a bench sitting next to the locker and launches it against the wall, breaking it in half and leaving an ugly dent on the wall.

Kenji howls out one more time at the top of his lungs before collapsing on his knees in the middle of Rawlings destroyed locker room.

Varying Vantages

Maya and Shinya are seen backstage walking through the halls, they are polite and make it a point to nod their heads or wave at the crew backstage with a gesture of acknowledgement. Before long, however, Shinya and Maya stop when they see International Incident walking down the hall towards them. Shinya leans over and whispers in Maya's ear.

Shinya: That's them...they're the ones that were interfering in the tag match. Come on...

Shinya and Maya casually walk up to International Incident and smile gently so as not to come off as rude.

Shinya: Hello there, my name is Shinya and this is Maya. We just started working here and wanted to introduce ourselves since you're both a very well known tag team. We're called TRES BIEN.

Big Mostafa Bashir looks down at the smaller Japanese competitors and then crosses his arms over his chest. The Montreal Kid steps up, of similar size to the members of Tres Bien.

Allen Franks: Welcome to LEGACY, I’m “The Montreal Kid” Allen Franks…

Extending his arm towards Maya, Allen offers to shake his hand. Maya reaches out and shakes Allen Franks hand with a smile.

Maya: My name is Maya Nakashima, I don't really have a nickname so...just call me Maya, kay?

Shinya, in a similar good faith act, reaches his hand out to the significantly bigger Mostafa Bashir. Shinya looks somewhat hesitant for a moment.

Shinya: And I'm Shinya Nakamura...we thank you for such a warm welcome. We're just trying to bring the fans a little joy back into their lives, you know?

After considering what he just heard, Mostafa Bashir speaks up.

Mostafa Bashir: Why?

Both members of Tres Bien give Mostafa a curious look, which Allen Franks notices.

Allen Franks: What my Beastly Tag Team Partner means to ask is why you would make it your primary goal to give the fans joy? Wouldn’t you want to make success your main goal? Beating teams, making a name for yourself, getting championships?

Shinya doesn't look surprised when Allen Franks says that, Maya is still has a smile reminiscent of a ten year old on his face.

Shinya: Because making the fans happy is success for us. Isn't that why everyone gets into this business in the first place? To entertain the people that allow us to make a living doing what we do best? So why then should we spit on their trust in us by doing anything that wouldn't please them? As much as we may not have liked how the Flying Avengers talked to us earlier, we would never try to attack them unfairly or do anything the fans would consider cheating. That's not what they want so that's not what we want.

Maya still has a child like grin on his face as he speaks up.

Maya: Maybe the question should be; why aren't your goals to give the fans joy?

Hearing somethid amidst Shinya’s comments, Allen completely ignores Maya’s question.

Allen Franks: Whoa, hold on. Are you trying to pass a judgment over what we did earlier tonight? Because I can tell you, the Flying Avengers are NOT good people, and they deserved what we did by interfering in that match. They don’t deserve to be in that match, and they sure don’t deserve to have a chance at the World Tag Team Championships YET again… and this is something you would understand if you knew the Flying Avengers.

The big bald Beast from Kandahar nods in agreement.

Mostafa Bashir: To know the Flying Avengers is to dislike the Flying Avengers.

Shinya: I apologize if it sounded like we were trying to judge you, we aren't trying to upset anyone or make anyone angry. It's just, maybe if we can learn to think about more than our own success...maybe the fans would like that a little better. You know, just let everyone wrestle. Deserving or not, the Flying Avengers were in that match, it's not our place to try and superceed who gets placed where.

Maya frowns slightly.

Maya: I'm not saying we love the Flying Avengers...but won't the Flying Avengers just want to do to you what you did to them? Then the fans have to see them try and cheat you too! I don't think they want that...I think they just want to see the better team win, you know?

Bashir pounds his right fist into his left palm, causing a huge clapping sound.

Mostafa Bashir: I welcome the Flying Avengers to try to do to us! They are WELCOME to come find Mostafa Bashir!!

Proud of the intensity with which his tag team partner is reacting, Allen Franks pats Mostafa on the shoulder.

Allen Franks: Maybe it’s not your place to make sure justice found the Flying Avengers, and that’s why it was good we were there. You want guys like that to find ways to cheat their way into championships? I guess maybe that’s why you’re content to not have any gold.

Shinya sighs heavily at the reaction from International Incident, Maya jumps at the sound of Mostafa's fist pounding into his palm.

Shinya: This is exactly what we were talking about...you don't even care about what kind of match you put on. All you care about is that you somehow have a shiny belt to prove you're some kind of a hot shot. If that's what your belts are all about...then keep them. We have something more precious than any belt you could ever win.

After saying that Shinya storms off in the other direction. Maya, however, is still standing in front of International Incident and bows very low.

Maya: I'm sorry if we upset you...but it really was a pleasure to meet you. We just have opposing ideals, that's all. Bye now!

Maya scurries off in the direction Shinya went. Allen shakes his head disappointedly.

Allen Franks: Wow, so they assume we don’t take pride in our matches, then they walk off without giving us a chance to say otherwise?

Bashir shakes his head.

Mostafa Bashir: How rude. How very rude.

Patrick Kidd vs Greyson Blade

Jimmy Yates: Our next match is one we thought we might never see here in LEGACY.

Alan Ducard: Truth be told gents, most thought that Patrick "Crimson" Kidd would never wrestle again. Two years ago it was questionable if he would ever walk again, but now here he is, stepping back into the ring against his long-time friend and one of the best in the business – The Outlaw Greyson Blade

Bryan Harris: I don't know what the suits are thinking! This is nothing but bad publicity waiting to happen. What Kidd breaks a hip, or less humorous, he gets himself killed out there in a LEGACY ring?

Jimmy Yates: Kidd has worked exceptionally hard to make this return and I don't think he's going to disappoint. As far as publicity goes, the fans are hyped for this match as they want to see if Kidd still got it. Not to mention this is only the second time The Outlaw and Patrick Kidd have faced off in a singles match, and this is the first time they will wrestle each other under regular match rules, which one could argue would favor Kidd’s most technical style-pre injury.
Bryan Harris: Favor Kidd? We don’t know what Kidd’s “style” will be after all that has happened to him, in fact, we don’t even know if he will make it out of this match. From the rumblings I’ve been hearing, Greyson isn’t too happy about this match, and if he takes the hint this “comeback” will be cut mercifully short.

Jimmy Yates: Oh come on, there is no way Blade is going to do that against a man who is like his brother.

Bryan Harris: You can only push someone so far Jimbo – he’s put Blade now in a compromising position for both Blade and his family for the second time.

Alan Ducard: Well on multiple levels it’s going to be an intriguing match-up to be sure, and now Patrick Kidd is once again getting the opportunity to do what he has wanted to do all of his life and that’s wrestle. It’s been two years in the making, so let’s not wait any longer and roll that footage.

Start of Match Footage

Kidd is down, but there's no way he's staying down this early in the contest. Patrick begins pushing himself to his feet as The Outlaw takes a step. However, once Kidd is back to his feet, Blade rushes forward. Kidd avoids the rush, and spins around behind him and snaring Greyson in a waistlock. The Outlaw fires an elbow at Kidd, but he misses as Kidd evades to the side. Greyson changes his plan and goes for the "pure power" approach and simply grabs Kidd's wrists and begins to pull Patrick's hands apart.

Jimmy Yates: The Outlaw has a definite strength advantage on Kidd as he has half a foot and about 50 pounds on him.

Bryan Harris: Blade has a training advantage too. These guys have known each other for a long time and trained together, but my sources tell me Greyson was at Kidd's gym this past weekend spying on his training - smart man.

Alan Ducard: I would hardly call what Blade was doing there "spying" Bryan. Kidd knew he was there, and Kidd knows that Blade is familiar with his old style - the wild card is how much has changed or whill have to change for Kidd since the surgeries.

Jimmy Yates: Actually, I spoke with Kidd briefly earlier today and he said that he has been studying something new to add to his repertoire and Blade would see it firsthand tonight.

The Outlaw breaks free of the waistlock and whips Kidd into the ropes. Kidd rebounds and slides between Blade's legs and as The Outlaw turns, Kidd uses all his weight and force to take Greyson to the canvas with a short arm lariat. Patrick pulls Blade to his feet, but gets a body blow, then another, and finally a shoulder to the gut. The Outlaw pulls Kidd in and lifts him up in the air for a vertical suplex. Greyson holds him up in the air for a moment before dropping him to the mat. Blade then bounces off the ropes and delivers a solid leg drop and covers Kidd, but doesn't hook the leg.

Alan Ducard: The big leg drop and The Outlaw with the cover!

ONE

TWO - Kidd kicks out!

Bryan Harris: That was a really sloppy pin from Blade.

Jimmy Yates: Greyson doesn't make little mistakes like that Bryan - the fact that this is his friend has him holding back in spite of what Kidd wanted. In fact, he's almost seemed to go into "wrestling" mode here. A typical Outlaw offense would have him trying to beat Kidd into the canvas.

Bryan Harris: He needs to forget that is his friend out there or it will cost him the match - and give LEGACY an unnecessary black eye in the process.

Alan Ducard: The Outlaw is still in control, and he brings Kidd back to the vertical base and there's another forearm shot to the body. Greyson off the ropes now and he takes Kidd down with a clothesline. Kidd is brought back to a standing position again, but this time Greyson gets Kidd up on his shoulders, and he goes for the running powerslam but Kidd slides down the back! Kidd with a push and Blade goes to the turnbuckles as Kidd follows him in. Kidd grabs The Outlaw by the head ... running halfway across the ring and plants him with the bulldog!

The crowd is cheering the action and the rather back and forth nature of the match as Kidd turns Blade over using the leg, and then delivers a standing fist drop that looks like a million dollars! Kidd quickly drops and hooks the leg tight.

Alan Ducard: Kidd with the pin attempt!

ONE
TWO - Blade kicks out!

Jimmy Yates: You may notice where Greyson didn't hook the leg in his first pin attempt, Kidd did and applied as much weight as possible.

Bryan Harris: As much as I dislike this whole comeback, it seems Kidd is really in this one to win it and the fans are starting to get behind that kind of effort.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flash Forward~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kidd comes off the ropes with a dropkick knocking Blade to the mat. Kidd then takes a few steps back, hitting the ropes, then runs forward delivering a rolling knee drop to the head of Blade. Kidd immediately realizes that probably wasn't a good idea as he rolls into the corner clutching his knee.
Alan Ducard: We mentioned earlier that Kidd would may have to change his style after his surgeries, but so far in the match it looks like he had reverted to his old self. Kidd has done that move a thousand times before, but he may think twice about using it in the future.
Bryan Harris: He should have thought twice about getting in the ring again at all, now he may have just ruined his knee again.
Jimmy Yates: Sometimes the mind is willing but the body is weak - Kidd is going to have to adjust here.
The Outlaw gets to his feet, shaking the cobwebs loose, and he sees Kidd holding his knee in the corner. As soon as Kidd sees Blade is back up, he just grimaces and pushes up to his feet and tries coming out of the corner to meet Blade. The two meet in the middle of the ring and lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Greyson uses his sizable strength advantage to pull Kidd into a side headlock. Kidd first sends an elbow into the ribs, and pushes Blade off to the ropes. Blade comes back and shoulder blocks Kidd down. Blade then pulls Kidd up and tries the Irish whip, but Kidd reverses and Blade rebounds again, and Kidd leapfrogs over him. Then Kidd kicks it into gear and the two start running the ropes crisscrossing back and forth. Blade drops down and Kidd hops over him, then Kidd drops down and Blade hops over him, then after the fifth cross Kidd leapfrogs over Blade, but he lands oddly, and his leg gives out causing him to crash face first to the mat.
Jimmy Yates: That's the second time Kidd's knee has faltered. Don Bower has to be starting to wonder if it may be in Kidd's best interest to stop the match.
Alan Ducard: LEGACY officials have to keep the wrestlers safety in mind, but in this situation Mr. Bower has to remember what's at stake in the match and no it's not a title, it's pride. I'm not sure what would happen to Kidd if this match was stopped for the reason you just mentioned.
Kidd quickly massages his knee with one hand then starts to push himself up when he sees Greyson's hand outstretched as an offering to help him up. Kidd takes his hand then fires a right hook into his jaw! The crowd gasps at the shot and Blade staggers back a step, rather caught off guard from the shot. Blade's jaw sets, his eyes narrow, and his fists clench. As he steps forwards he's met by another punch from Kidd, but this time there is no hesitation - no second thoughts, he rears back and HAMMERS Kidd with shot to the jaw that knocks Kidd off his feet to the canvas.
Bryan Harris: That was definitely not the smartest move Kidd has ever made - its actually probably the dumbest since he decided to come back. He may not want Blade's pity - but he could have used Blade holding back to get a fluke win, and now Greyson is going to break him in half.
The Outlaw whips Kidd hard into the buckles, and follows him in with a stiff clothesline that keeps him from falling out. Blade fires away with a flurry of body shots before hitting and elbow to the head. Greyson then hooks Patrick and liffts him on to the top turnbuckle, following him up. The crowd rises up in anticipation as Greyson rehooks him.
Alan Ducard: The Outlaw has Kidd up and ... there's the superplex! Both men crash into the canvas, but Blade is looking for the pin!
ONE
TWO
T-Kickout! Kidd just manages to get the shoulder off the canvas.
Jimmy Yates: Blade playing to win now - he's turned it up a notch. He remembered to hook the leg this time, and that superplex focused on Kidd's injured back.
After the failed pin attempt, Blade wastes no time pulling Kidd to his feet and knees him roughly before taking him to the ropes for the Irish whip. He catches Kidd on the return and takes him over with the powerslam. Blade comes off the ropes and drives the elbow down into Kidd, then again, and again. Finally he pulls Kidd up and he hammers him with a brutal uppercut, sending him right back down. Blade brings Kidd back to a vertical base, and goes for the Irish whip. However, Kidd digs his feet into the mat and doesn't budge immediately, and when Greyson turns towards him Blade is met with an elbow to the head. Kidd fires off a series of elbows using both arms.
Bryan Harris: It's clobbering time....if you wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllll!
Kidd rebounds off the ropes going for the super elbow but Greyson is ready for him and presses him up into the air and hits the outlaw drop. Instead of going for the pin Blade steps back into the corner and hunches down and waits. The crowd rises up in anticipation, and Greyson motions menacingly for Kidd to get up.
Alan Ducard: He's waiting for Kidd to get up. It appears he's going to finish this with the Kill Shot.
Bryan Harris: It's about time he ended Kidd's farce of a comeback.
Jimmy Yates: He would rip him in half if he hits this ...
Kidd rolls over holding his back and slowly pushes up to his feet. Greyson rushes out of the corner as we've witnessed many times before, going low to destroy his target. However, when he's but a couple feet away from Kidd, Blade goes high and LEVELS Kidd with a huge clothesline.
Jimmy Yates: It looks lIke The Outlaw had second thoughts. Earlier he hit Kidd with the superplex, but I think he realized if he hit the Kill Shot on Kidd well ... who knows yet what it would do to his surgically repaired spine.
Alan Ducard: Greyson now lifts a groggy Kidd to his feet and sends him into the ropes and levels him with a spinning clothesline. Kidd hits the canvas and Greyson makes the cover hooking the near leg!
ONE
TWO
T-NO! Kidd gets his foot on the bottom rope and Don Bower stops the count!
Greyson looks at the ref who holds up two fingers then points to the ropes. Greyson looks down at Kidd who spins around on his back and sweeps Blade's legs out from under him. Kidd uses the ropes to get to his feet and takes a moment to catch his breath. He looks up to see Greyson coming at him with a double axe handle and just barely gets out of the way. Kidd grabs Greyson by the neck and lines up back to back with him a feat that is slightly difficult with Greyson's size advantage, but after a brief struggle Kidd lines it up and hits a back to back backbreaker!
Alan Ducard: A devastating back breaker variant from Kidd. I believe that is the new move he was planning to debut tonight - if I'm correct he calls it the Gallows Drop! Kidd now quickly going for the cover with the hook of the leg.
ONE
TWO
THR-NO! - Greyson barely gets the shoulder up!
With that last second kickout, Kidd shakes his head and slowly pulls Blade to his feet and whips him into the ropes and as Greyson rebounds towards him, Kidd lifts Blade up and delivers a spinning spine buster. The impact shakes the ring, but the match has taken a lot out of both men, physically and emotionally - and Kidd can't make the cover as he is spent. The ref looks at both men and starts to make the standing ten count.
One
Two
Three
Four
The Outlaw begins starts to stir.
Five
Six
Kidd looks over at Greyson and throws his arm to the left for a cover.
One
Two
Kick out.
Both men use the ropes to pull themselves up as the crowd, appreciative of the effort cheers them both on as they try to get up.
Jimmy Yates: Kidd is giving his all here tonight, and for a moment I thought he had it won right there, but this is The Outlaw - and he isn't ready for this one to end just yet.
Alan Ducard: I think this one is headed down the home stretch James - these two are starting to dig deeper than either one thought they might need to now.
The two fighters meet in the center of the ring, fists raised and eyes locked. They stare down as Kidd snaps off a hard jab and catches Greyson. Kidd fires another punch, but Blade blocks and retaliates by delivering a headbutt that knocks Kidd back a step.
Bryan Harris: Looks like Greyson is starting to get that resolve back, he busted Kidd open with that headbutt, and Kidd is wearing the Crimson mask.
Jimmy Yates: You were really hoping you'd get to say that weren't you.
A trickle of blood starts to slide down Kidd's face. Greyson hooks Kidd's head under his arm and goes for a suplex, but Kidd blocks it. Blade goes for second attempt, but it is also blocked and Kidd sends a knee to his gut to break free then while Greyson is doubled over Kidd hooks both of his arms with a double under hook, and the crowd goes crazy!
Jimmy Yates: Kidd is going for the CRIMSON TIDE, he's ready to prove that his legacy will continue!
Bryan Harris: No!
Alan Ducard: Kidd hoists the arms, but Greyson is struggling, powering out and his spins around behind Kidd ... the heave and ... BACKDROP DRIVER!
Bryan Harris: Yes - and note this is the only time I will cheer The Outlaw!
Jimmy Yates: This doesn't look good for Kidd - the was the same move Greyson used to get the win at Destined for Glory.
Alan Ducard: Greyson crawling over and hooking the leg!
ONE
TWO
THREE!
Don Bower signals for the bell as the crowd cheers, and Greyson rolls off of Kidd and lies there for a moment to catch his breath before getting to his feet as Josephina Colbert makes her announcement.
Josephina Colbert: Your winner, The OUTLAW, Greyson Blade.
Alan Ducard: It wasn't flashy, but considering how long it's been since Kidd was in a ring, this was an excellent effort.
Jimmy Yates: I do have to give Kidd respect for how he fought even in the loss.
Bryan Harris: I'm just glad this is all over - maybe he can take this loss and realize he just needs to stay out of the ring.
After a few minutes, Kidd rolls out of the ring with his head down, and walking slowly, he takes one hand and rubs the sore spot on his neck, and begins making his way up the rampway. A victorious but relieved Outlaw stands in the ring, looking out at his best friend, trudging away. The crowd sensing the moment a small chant begins that grows louder with each passing second, and The Outlaw waves the crowd to chant louder.
“You still got it!” “You still got it!” “You still got it!”
Bryan Harris: Can you believe this crowd? Egging Kidd on this like this? He’s lucky Blade didn’t crush him out there.
Jimmy Yates: Would you just stop? Please just stop. That was a great performance here tonight.
Alan Ducard: I concur James, Kidd has nothing about which to be ashamed.
Greyson motions for the mic from Josephina, and she gladly hands him one.
The Outlaw: Kidd … you came out here tonight and yeah, maybe you didn’t win, but you proved that one thing you wanted to prove to the fans … to yourself …
Kidd stopped half way up the ramp and turned towards the crowd as the chant reaches a fever pitch.
YOU STILL GOT IT! YOU STILL GOT IT! YOU STILL GOT IT! YOU STILL GOT IT!
Kidd stands there for a moment taking it all in then slowly makes his way back to the ring and climbs through the ropes. Blade extends his hand to Kidd who shakes it in then gives Blade a hug as the crowd cheers. The Outlaw nods and hands Patrick the mic and motions to him that the crowd is his. He then climbs out of the ring, and heads to the back, quickly disappearing behind the curtain and allowing Kidd to do this on his own.
Kidd stands in the middle of the ring just for a moment, soaking in the crowd and taking in the moment. Finally, he brings the mic to his lips – the emotion saturating every word.
Kidd: It’s … it’s been a long time since I stood in front of a crowd like this. At one time … at one time most people doubted I’d ever walk again.
Kidd looks down trying to collect himself for a moment before he speaks.
Kidd: I proved them wrong. Then they said I’d never get back in the ring, and tonight I proved them wrong. The better man won tonight, but for me personally – this was a real victory. I just want each and every one of you to know that if it wasn’t for your support, I would never have been able to get back in this ring here tonight. I would never have been able to once again live my lifelong dream without you out there cheering me on, pulling for me every step of the way.
In the midst of the sweat and the pain – in the midst of the love from the crowd and his own emotions, a smile finally crosses Kidd’s lips.
Kidd: Thank-you, Patrick Kidd rides again.
With that "Rebirth" by Boy Hits Car hits, and he nods to the crowd.
Jimmy Yates: Some heartfelt words from Patrick Kidd here tonight, and a great, moment for all LEGACY fans.
Alan Ducard: Most certainly James – I’m sure our fans will remember this for years to come.
Kidd crosses the ring to hand the microphone back to Josephina Colbert as his music continues to play. However, just as he hands the mic to Josephina, he spots Adam Davis hopping the crowd barrier, and then tossing a bag inside the ring. Kidd tenses up, ready for a fight, but it’s all for naught as Ledge comes from out of the crowd on the opposite side of the ring, and takes Kidd down with a horrific looking chop block, taking Kidd to the canvas with a cry of pain.
Jimmy Yates: What are THEY doing out here? Why are they doing this?
Bryan Harris: VIP wanted Blade to take Kidd out – looks like they are here to do the job themselves!
The crowd boos loudly as both men begin stomping away at Kidd as he tries to defend himself on the canvas but no avail. Ledge slides out of the ring and grabs a chair and tosses it to Davis and gets back in the ring. The delay in the beating has allowed Kidd to somehow get back to his feet – but only for a moment as he gets ROCKED by the steel. The impact can be heard over the jeers as Kidd crashes to the canvas. Adam then sets the chair down in the center of the ring. Ledge taunts the fans and then Kidd as both he and Davis lift Kidd up into the air as the blood rushes to his head and a small amount begins to drip from the wound reopened from a chair shot. Finally they drive Kidd down with a double brainbuster.
Alan Ducard: It seems they really are out to cut short this comeback!
Jimmy Yates: This is absolutely DISGUSTING! This was a great moment for Kidd, a great moment for LEGACY? Have they no respect?
Bryan Harris: Respect? How about Kidd just show some respect for this industry and stay retired.
As Kidd lays motionless on the canvas, Ledge retrieves the bag earlier tossed in the ring, and reveals two croquet mallets.
Bryan Harris: Well say goodnight Kidd … last time those came out it was for Marcus Marion … and well we haven’t seen him since – rumor has it he’s still drawing unemployment while he sucks strained peaches through a straw.
Ledge and Davis close in on Kidd as the crowd roars its disapproval. Davis even kisses his mallet, which still has a dingy crimson stain on part of the mallet's head. They take the bloody chair and put it over Kidd’s head.
Jimmy Yates: Someone needs to do something for god's sake!
Bryan Harris: It seems like VIP IS doing something ... taking out the trash.
They raise their mallets, but then smirking to each other they move the chair and place it over Kidd’s groin area. For the fans who remember the Dropkick Murphy saga this has extra horrific meaning, but to just any general wrestling fan this is heinous.
Jimmy Yates: Oh come on now … he’s down, he’s beaten – you don’t have to go that far!
Alan Ducard: This is entirely uncalled for gents … this needs to be stopped!
Davis and Kidd raise their mallets and are about to strike when FINALLY security hits the ring separating Kidd from VIP. The fans actually cheer security’s arrival, and Davis/Ledge look like they might swing at security, but they then drop the mallets. However, before they leave, Ledge turns to Kidd … and spits on him with a sneer of disgust.
Alan Ducard: What a classless and sickening display … I can’t say I’ve witnessed anything quite that personally revolting happening inside a LEGACY ring.
EMT’s head to the ring to tend to Kidd, and Davis happens to trip one of them on the way there with his mallet, sending him and the stretcher rolling down the aisle as one last insult to injury. Davis shakes his head and looks back to the ring mouthing the word “pathetic”.
Jimmy Yates: They were stopped before it could go any further, but I think the big question is just how much damage did VIP do here tonight.
Bryan Harris: No, I think the big question is where was Blade?
Loyalties and Awesomeness
Clearly angry, John Thomas stalks through the backstage area, Anastasia Ewing trying her best to follow along, doing just a little better than the cameraman. Getting nearer to the gorilla position, John Thomas finds the man he's looking for - the challenger for tonight's main event: Gryffin Anselm.
John Thomas: TELL ME it isn't true. Tell me that the thing I heard earlier isn't true - tell me you didn't sell me out.
All ready to make his entrance for the main event, Gryffin sighs and shakes his head.
Gryffin Anselm: I don't think there's anything to say.
John's eyes get huge.
John Thomas: Are you KIDDING?! You helped Justin Moreno prepare for his match with me... a match he WON! A match he wouldn't have any chance of winning without you coaching him up!
Gryffin Anselm: I set up a training session this week to help the BOTH of you get ready to put on the BEST match you could for tonight to help put you into the best position possible to get into place to get a World Title shot as soon as possible.
John's eyes get wide and looks to the gorilla position, then back at Gryffin.
John Thomas: Uh, HELLO? You could've just GIVEN me the main event spot tonight if you wanted me to get a title shot!
Sighing, Gryffin shakes his head.
Gryffin Anselm: First of all.. no way. Secondly, I WANT this shot - not just at the belt, but also at Issac.
John Thoams: Why, because he disrespected you, or is it because he was trying to manipulate your new best friend Justin Moreno?!
Gryffin Anselm: If you have a problem with me training Justin Moreno, that's YOUR problem, not mine.
John Thomas: What about TEAM AWESOMENESS? You just going to turn your back on that?
Gryffin Anselm: You know that right now, that tag team isn't what you need... and it's not what you're trying to fous on, either.
Anselm looks over at Anastasia Ewing, who gives a slightly worried look his way, knowing he's right, but not wanting to upset John.
Gryffin Anselm: Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a giant to go knock down.
Taking Out The Trash
Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen, we now bring you some footage of what transpired after the Patrick Kidd/Outlaw match-up, and the heinous attack by V.I.P. on Patrick Kidd in the midst of his return celebration with the fans. This happened backstage during the Main Event LEGACY World Title match that followed and our cameras caught everything that went down.
Before the video feed begins, we hear a loud, booming, angry voice.
"DAVIS!"
There is the sound of a door being kicked open, and when the footage comes back we see The Outlaw angrily turning around in a doorway. He's in his street clothes, but they are a bit damp, and his hair is wet - apparently The Outlaw only took the time to get decent before going on the war path.
"LEDGERWOOD!!"
Blade kicks open another door, and this time as he turns, the camera backs off a bit and we see that in his massive hand he carries a mallet like object of his own - his trusty sledgehammer.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Finally, The Outlaw turns the corner, to another dressing area, and he boots in the door, to see Ledge and Davis starting to gather their own things, and there is no hesitation as The Outlaw winds up and takes a swing at Davis who dodges the hit as the head of the hammer obliterates a lamp. Ledge backs off smartly, however before Blade can get another swing at Davis, LEGACY security floods the locker room (already on alert because of Blade's not so quiet search) and as strong as The Outlaw might be, there is a numbers game here. The Outlaw struggles, but to no avail. He looks menacingly at Ledge and Davis who smirk but with just a bit of surprise at The Outlaw.
The Outlaw: I will get you ... BOTH of you.
They walk a step closer to Greyson, carefully, but with much more confidence than facing a free Outlaw with a sledgehammer.
Adam Davis: For what? For finishing the job you wouldn't? We virtually pleaded with you to end that "comeback" farce, and keep that pathetic punching bag from further humiliating himself and this industry, but you wouldn't do it - so tonight we took the initiative. Its what a "family" should be for you know.
Ledge moves in eye to eye with Greyson and speaks calmly its almost eerie.
Ledge: Greyson, tonight we did you a favor. You were weak - you couldn't pull the trigger on Kidd. You had the Killshot and you couldn't even bring yourself to use it - so we took that decision from you and made the one you couldn't make. We will take care of Kidd for you, so that you don't have to dirty your own hands. Soon his career and "protecting" him won't be your problem anymore - our gift of freedom to you.
The Outlaw: You son of a bi...
Davis cuts him off with a voice filled with sincerity.
Adam Davis: Think about it Greyson. You can say you didn't know until know what was going on out there - that you didn't know what we did, but it wasn't like we truly hid our intentions. Did you not come out and stop what we did to Kidd because you didn't know about it ... or you didn't want to know?
The Outlaw stares hard back at Davis, and VIP take their leave from the locker room as Blade is still held back security and the scene fades to black.
World Championship Match
Gryffin Anselm vs Issac Entragian ©
Alan Ducard: Folks it is now time for the main event of the evening, with the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP on the line, and I’ve got a feeling that this is going to be a battle of EPIC proportions.
Bryan Harris: No doubt Alan, this will be a straight up war, both of these men push the three hundred pound mark, and they are all about the power game. It’ll be a sight to see when these two bulls square off for the most prestigious prize in the industry.
Jimmy Yates: A new era has dawned in LEGACY gentlemen, and it is the Age of Entragian. This monster shocked the world when he laid waste to X-Calibur and claimed the World Title, and in these dark times god only knows what kind of atrocities The Ivory Terror will commit as The World Heavyweight Champion.
Alan Ducard: Well we may not have to suffer through the reign of this tyrant much longer, because Gryffin Anselm has the chance to strip Issac of that title tonight, and I know in my heart that Anselm is more than capable, he is up the task without a shadow of a doubt.
Jimmy Yates: If Gryffin does indeed come away victorious tonight, I see him restoring integrity to the championship and washing away the vileness that Issac has already desecrated it with. I’ll admit, Gryffin has done less than honorable things thanks to his past ties with The Diabolik, but it seems like Anselm has turned over a new leaf, and I respect his new attitude and demeanor.
Bryan Harris: Well keep dreaming boys, because Entragian is walking out of here tonight with that belt secured around his waist, just like he did at Destined for Greatness. This man is a different kind of animal, his malice knows no bounds, and I doubt very much that he’ll let a guy like Anselm strip him of his precious gold.
Alan Ducard: This all started with Anselm attempting to show respect to Entragian several weeks ago, and Issac of course reacted by verbally spitting in Gryffin’s face and putting his hands on the former Diabolik member.
Jimmy Yates: And to add to that already building tension, Anselm has shown interest in forming an alliance with Justin Moreno, someone who Entragian has been trying to build some sort of twisted covenant with for awhile now.
Bryan Harris: There are several factors that are playing into this one, but I’d say that’s enough talk fellas, let’s get into the action.
Start of Match Footage
Entragian irish whips Gryffin into one of the corner turnbuckles with all the strength he can muster, actually dropping down to his stomach as he releases Anselm’s arm to add EVEN more momentum to the whip. Gryffin smashes into the buckles with a ring-rocking impact, blasting into the corner chest first and then crumbling down to his knees.
Issac gets up and stalks forward, his shoulders slightly hunched, a diabolic lust for carnage shining in his green eyes as he waits for Gryff to rise and turn around.
Jimmy Yates: One thing Anselm must take into account is the level of ruthlessness that Entragian brings with him into ANY match he competes in, he will do whatever he possibly can to take his opponent out.
Alan Ducard: Gryff is a powerful guy though, he needs to find a way to use his strength to wear Issac down, and possibly strike the champion when he’s at his weakest point.
Anselm pushes up using the ropes, and then spins around only to be met with a HUGE uppercut that clips Gryffin right on the edge of the jaw. Anselm is rocked back against the buckles, and Issac closes the distance. The albino monster begins to BLAST right hands into the side of Gryffin’s head, the shots so vicious that Gryff’s neck snaps to the side with each punch that lands. The referee quickly admonishes Issac, and he backs up a step, but the very second that Klinton Porter moves out of the way Entragian darts forward and grabs Anselm by the throat only to DRILL Gryffin in the skull with a massive headbutt. As the two skulls meet with cracking intensity, Anselm’s body slumps down to the canvas as though his muscles have turned to jelly.
Bryan Harris: Jesus Christ, did you HEAR that? That sounded like a rifle shot, brains have got to be scrambled! Gryffin is not showing much promise so far…
Alan Ducard: He may be slow out of the starting gate, but don’t count Anselm out. This man is a student of the game, and he will find a way to adapt to Issac’s style, mark my words.
Issac leans down, digging his hand into Gryffin’s long hair and yanking him up to a vertical base. Once Anselm is up and staggering, Issac PUSHES him square in the chest, launching Anselm backwards against the ropes, but as Gryffin rebounds he lowers his shoulder and DRILLS Issac in the abdomen with a hellacious spear. Issac’s three hundred pound girth is thrown to the canvas violently, and the monster turns his head to the side and gasps, the air clearly knocked out of him.
Alan Ducard: And just like that, Gryffin has fought his way back into this match. I don’t care how large or damn near invulnerable you are, monster or no monster, if a big man like Anselm slams his shoulder into your gut like that, you’re going to feel the effects.
Jimmy Yates: Nearly cut the freak in half, his body seemed to fold in on itself!
Issac rolls across the ring a few feet, trying to give himself some recovery time, but Anselm isn’t having it, he’s up and RIGHT after Issac, taking a few steps backwards before running forward and driving a Harley Race-like knee into Entragian’s sternum. Issac coughs harshly and draws his knees up to his chest, his body struggling for breath. Having rolled through with the knee drop, Gryffin goes right back on the attack, pulling Issac up to his feet and then straddling one of Issac’s legs while simultaneously pulling back on one of the World Heavyweight Champion’s arms, and the result is a perfectly applied abdominal stretch.
Jimmy Yates: Would you look at Anselm? Ever since that spear landed, Issac’s midsection has been Gryff’s target. This man is as cerebral as they come, and look at him now tearing at the lining of Issac’s abdomen, SO tenacious.
Alan Ducard: Gryffin is a former No Limits Champion guys, and he knows how to hurt someone.
He lead The Diabolik to victory on MANY an occasion using his ring intelligence and his adaptability, regardless of the opponent, Anselm will find a way to get the job done.
Issac struggles, his razor-sharp teeth gritted in exertion as he attempts to free himself. Gryffin senses that Entragian’s raw power is about to come into play in escaping the hold, so with his free hand Anselm begins to SLAM clubbing blows down against Issac’s ribs while still keeping him locked up in the abdominal stretch. Each time Gryffin’s powerful arm clubs him in the ribs, Issac groans in pain, a few droplets of saliva spurting out past his gritted teeth as he strains against the maneuver.
In a desperation maneuver, Issac gathers up all of his strength and STOMPS down on one of Anselm’s feet with the heel of his boot, and in that moment Gryffin’s concentration falters and Issac is able to bull his way out of the hold and gain some separation. Anselm limps forward looking to retake the hold, but Issac CRUSHES the point of his elbow directly into Gryffin’s face. Anselm staggers backwards, and as he tries to get back on the offensive Issac takes him down with a thunderous clothesline.
Bryan Harris: The submission game is a smart move to wear an opponent down, but a lot of times Issac is just too damn strong to succumb to this method. I’ve seen him counter or bully his way out of many a nasty hold.
Alan Ducard: Nevertheless, the effort Issac put into breaking out of that abdominal stretch had to take something out of his tank, and that’s a positive thing for Anselm.
With Anselm down, Issac stalks forward in a predatory stance, and then the boot party begins. Entragian begins to rain down stomps onto Gryffin’s legs, particularly the one that Issac smashed to get out of the abdominal stretch. Entragian smashes his boot heel down AGAIN and AGAIN, targeting first Gryffin’s knee and then moving down to crush stomps into his ankle. Some sort of sick frenzy has descended on Entragian, his white hair hanging about his face as he leers down at Gryffin while he dissects him piece by piece. Issac ends the assault with a few brutal kicks straight to Gryffin’s thigh, before Klinton Porter finally backs him off.
Jimmy Yates: THAT, folks, is the reason we call Issac Entragian a monster. His appetites for destruction know no bounds, and if Porter hadn’t of been there, Issac would have kept on stomping until both of Anselm’s legs were broken.
Alan Ducard: One scary thing I’ve noticed about Issac, he’s maintained much of his tactics from his time in the No Limits Division, yet he knows JUST when to stop to keep himself from getting disqualified. But that window that he has in a regular match allows him to get in SO much damage before the referee reaches his five count, and he milks it for all it’s worth.
Gryffin crawls along the canvas using his elbows, dragging his injured legs behind him, yet before he can get too far he’s HAULED back by Issac. The Ivory Terror then drops down to one knee and SNAPS up Anselm’s bad foot, wrapping his hand around the toe of Gryffin’s boot and then snaking an arm around Gryffin’s ankle, and the torque is on full display as Anselm rears back in agony, crying out while burying his hands into his hair.
Bryan Harris: Ankle lock! That seven foot hellion has it cinched in tight, and can you just imagine the pressure a man of Issac’s size can apply to this move?
Alan Ducard: I don’t want to even think about, but based on Gryffin’s screams, I think I have an idea. Issac’s power is what brought him to the dance, but I’ve noticed lately that the champion has been adding some submission techniques to his arsenal, and that’s smart in my opinion, you want to be a well-rounded individual when it comes to that squared circle.
Jimmy Yates: ESPECIALLY if you’re the World Heavyweight Champion and you want to remain so.
Anselm’s face has turned a bright red, yet he’s trying with every fiber of his being to drag himself towards the ropes. Issac continues to apply the pressure, ripping at the ankle with all of his strength, the veins standing out on his pallid biceps as he gives it all that he’s got. Once Gryffin is just a few inches away from gripping the bottom rope, Entragian PULLS him back several feet, killing his dreams of salvation. Gryffin roars in pain, then manages to get his free foot under him, and using a great deal of his inner reserves, Gryff rolls forward and Issac loses his grip on the ankle, and in the process Entragian is thrown forward and his throat connects with the second rope, forcing the big man to drop down to both knees.
Jimmy Yates: That was a beautiful counter on Anselm’s part; he knew that being locked up like that with a man like Entragian in control would lead to a quick defeat, so he used that ring awareness to roll his body free of the maneuver.
Alan Ducard: You have to wonder though, has the damage been done? Entragian is like a shark smelling blood, and I’ve got a feeling that for the remainder of this match Gryffin’s leg is going to be far from 100%...
Gryffin uses the ropes to rise to his feet, and he gingerly walks forward to test his legs. There’s a slight limp in the leg that was caught up in the ankle lock, but it appears as though they will support him. Anselm makes his way over to Issac, gripping him by the shoulder and pulling him backward, but Entragian wheels around with surprising quickness and takes a hold of Gryffin’s arm, forcing Anselm’s near three hundred pound weight up onto his shoulders with a fireman’s carry.
Bryan Harris: This is it!! Entragian’s about to hit THE DISEMBOWELER and that will be all she wrote for Willy Anselm!
Entragian takes a few steps towards the center of the ring, but before he can make it very far Anselm begins to smash elbows down against Issac’s head, and after a succession of shots Gryffin manages to slip off of Issac’s shoulders, his feet once again finding the canvas. With Issac reeling, Gryffin crushes Entragian in the midsection with a big knee lift, the impact so fierce that Entragian’s feet rise a few inches off the canvas after the hit. Issac stumbles forward and looks to retaliate with a right hand, but Gryffin ducks the shot and then BULLS Issac up onto one of his shoulders.
Jimmy Yates: Would you look at the power of Anselm? Issac is a super heavyweight and Gryffin has no problem lifting him at all!
Gryffin grits his teeth with effort and then takes a few running steps forward with Issac on his shoulder, before flipping The Pale Rider down to the canvas with a huge powerslam. Issac touches down like a mini-earthquake, and immediately his hands go to his ribs, which have taken a significant amount of damage already in this match. Anselm is quick to make the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Entragian kicks out with authority following the two count, but he’s still nursing his ribs, a look of deep discomfort on his sadistic face.
Alan Ducard: Only a two count, it’s going to take more than that to bury the beast, but I feel in my heart that Gryffin Anselm has what it takes to win here tonight.
Bryan Harris: Cling to your pipe dreams Alan; I’ll laugh when they go up in flames.
Gryffin stands over the fallen monster, and then he laces his hands together into a big double fist while looking out at the crowd. Issac tries to push up from the canvas, but he’s met with a stiff double axe handle right against his upper back. Entragian falls right back down, his face smacking the mat. Gryffin moves to the side, still with both of his fists interlocked, and Entragian makes a second attempt to rise, this time making it all the way up to his hands and knees before Gryffin jumps forward and CRUSHES another double axe handle right into the back of Issac’s neck. Instead of letting Issac drop, Gryff grabs hold of his neck and pulls him up to a spaghetti leg vertical base, negotiating the monster towards the center of the ring in a suplex predicament.
Jimmy Yates: I think Anselm is looking to hit his eliminator jackhammer, and if he lands that, I don’t like the World Champion’s chances.
Gryffin is about to light Issac up, but at the last possible second Entragian shifts his weight and throws a HOOKING blow right into the side of Gryffin’s bad leg. Anselm’s knee immediately locks up and he goes down hard, releasing Issac’s head. Issac takes advantage, grabbing Gryff by the hair and using his free hand to launch a straight closed fist into Gryffin’s face. Anselm is blasted to the canvas after the big shot, and Issac starts to back up towards one of the turnbuckles, a twisted smile growing wider on his face with each step he takes.
Bryan Harris: We all know what the champ has in mind here, he’s gonna fly, and if you folks ain’t never seen a dragon take flight then I suggest you watch closely, cuz you’re in for a treat.
Working very carefully, Entragian ascends the turnbuckles up to the very top, and there he perches with one arm reared back like a piston, hoping to nearly decapitate Anselm with a flying clothesline. Gryffin very slowly rises up, turn around with a slightly glazed look in his eyes, and Issac takes that moment to soar. Entragian flies off the buckles with his arm extended, but Gryffin CATCHES him around the waist as he touches down, and promptly locks in a TIGHT bearhug. Entragian contorts himself backwards in pain, his ribs screaming with grief, and his eyes quite honestly wide with surprise.
Jimmy Yates: Talk about a counter! Wings of War backfired completely there, and now the World Heavyweight Champion is firmly locked up in Anselm’s grasp!
Gryffin squeezes as hard as he can, devastating Issac’s ribs and spine with pressure, and he even manages to shake Issac’s huge body side to side a bit to add even more torque to the hold. Issac’s mouth stretches open in a silent roar, and he tries to push away from Anselm, but to no avail, he’s locked on like a pit-bull. After a few moments Issac’s eyes begin to haze over, and very slowly, his head drops down, white hair hanging about his slack face. Porter rushes in, grabbing Issac’s right arm and raising it once. It drops. The referee raise’s Entragian’s arm again, and it drops, much to the delight of the crowd. Porter goes to check one final time, but this time when the arm is raised it STAYS raised, and the pale fingers curl into a claw, and that claw shoots down with serpentine speed to LOCK around the throat of Gryffin Anselm. Issac’s head rises a few inches, and we see that there’s still dark fire in the champion’s eyes.
Bryan Harris: Goozle! Now this is going to be interesting, when Issac gets any kind of chokehold on you, it’s like iron wrapping around your throat.
Alan Ducard: Something’s gotta give here, what’s going to happen?!?
Anselm continues to squeeze and maintain the bearhug, but Entragian seems to be getting some sort of rabid second wind, his hand tightening more and more around the throat of Anselm as he stands up to his full seven foot height. Gryffin’s eyes water, and his face goes a sickening purple as his windpipe is restricted. After a few moments of fighting to keep the bearhug alive, Gryff is forced to release his arms as Issac’s iron grip practically shuts him down. As Anselm’s arms fall down to his sides, Entragian rears back and choke tosses Gryff into the ropes, and on the rebound Issac leaps up into the air and DRILLS Anselm square in the face with a massive bicycle kick. Gryff eats boot and goes down like a sack of bricks. Issac laughs while holding his ribs, and plants a lackluster boot onto Anselm’s chest much to the crowd’s displeasure.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-NOOOOO!!
Gryff gets the shoulder up and pushes Issac’s boot off of his chest, and then he rolls to the opposite side of the ring to put some distance between himself and his opponent. Issac stalks towards him slowly, and Anselm has just enough time to fight his way up to an unstable vertical base. Anselm gets up a head of steam and runs forward, looking to land another spear and follow it up with a spinebuster, but Issac grabs him by the head and twists him around, snapping on an inverted facelock while also hooking up one of Anselm’s arms.
Bryan Harris: Dragon sleeper is locked in, and could it have been applied any more beautifully than that? I think NOT. Put this dog to sleep Issac, HELLLLL YEAH!!!
Alan Ducard: Issac’s quick reflexes served him well on that one, and just looking at that submission maneuver sends shivers up and down my back.
Entragian pulls backwards in an upward position, wrenching the hell out of Gryffin’s neck and spinal cord. Entragian’s face is a mask of hideous determination, his forked tongue slipping out to lick his lips, his eyes burning with the NEED to break this human being currently in his grasp. Anselm struggles for all he’s worth, and finally in an act of pure desperation Gryff reaches up and RAKES Issac’s eyes, effectively breaking Entragian’s grip.
Issac staggers backwards, and Gryffin once more interlocks his fists, raising his hands high and looking for a double axe handle shot, but Entragian plants a boot right in his breadbasket, forcing Gryff to double over. Entragian quickly pulls Gryff’s head into a standing headscissors, and using all of his monstrous power he lifts Anselm up into a powerbomb position, but instead of going through with the bomb Issac positions Anselm onto one of his shoulders back first.
Alan Ducard: Anselm is trying his hardest to wriggle free, but Issac’s got him up WAY up there in no man’s land, this doesn’t look good for the challenger…
Entragian moves towards the center of the ring while bearing Gryffin’s weight and fighting to ignore the ache of his ribs, and once there the monster pauses, staring out at the masses with a look of pure and simple hatred, before LEAPING upwards and touching down on both knees. The whiplash effect is astronomical, Gryffin flies off of Issac’s shoulder and smashes face first into the canvas, his back trembling with spasms as he meets the mat.
Jimmy Yates: Spinal Doom, ladies and gentlemen. As much as I hate to admit it, I have to believe this one is finished.
Bryan Harris: Stick in a fork in that boy, because he’s straight up done.
Entragian flips Gryffin over and presses both hands down against his chest, making the pinfall. Porter rushes in and slaps the canvas, and after seeing the sickening impact of Spinal Doom, the fans in attendance already start booing knowing this one is over.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner, and STILL your WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, THE IVORY TERROR, ISSACCCCC ENTRAGIANNNNNNN!!!
Elizabeth Gaunt shrieks with pleasure on the outside as the bell rings, and then she snatches up the World Heavyweight Championship and slides into the ring, thrusting it into her pale lover’s hands. The Ivory Terror doesn’t rise just yet, instead he kneels, taking hold of Gryffin’s hair and pulling his head up a bit. He takes the World Title by the strap and displays it in front of Anselm’s unseeing eyes, and then he shakes his head back and forth to make his point clear.
Having completed this little ritual, Entragian stands fully vertical, swinging the World Heavyweight Championship up onto one shoulder. He flashes a smile like white knives to the crowd, and then leans down and pulls Elizabeth in for a hard victory kiss. When the two break from each other the cameras zoom in and we see that Liz’s bottom lip bleeds just a bit, and she seems to really get off on this, her eyes bright with lust and power.
Issac looms over her, sweeping his demented countenance over the fans in attendance, before glaring down at his World Heavyweight Championship with sparkling greed in his eyes and a cold smile on his face.
Alan Ducard: It hurts my heart to see it go down this way folks, looking out into the sea of Hartford fans I actually saw a few small children hiding their faces as this turn of events came to pass.
Jimmy Yates: I feel your pain Alan, despite the fact that Gryffin took Issac took his limits, evil reigns here tonight in Connecticut, and the days have never seemed any darker than this, the worst part of it is…..this feels like it’s just the beginning.
Bryan Harris: You two sound like two broads crying over a soap opera, show some respect for the amazing specimen standing in the ring right now. That man is OUR World Heavyweight Champion, and that ring is his killing field. I put forth the question, WHO can beat this man? Who?
Silence from the other announcers, and that seems to say it all as the feed cuts to black.
