The music of Kanye West's "Stronger" hits and the logo for last year's flagship pay per view event appears on the screen.
"Work it, make it, do it, Flash to Eli Storm as he launches at him with a superkick, CB quickly ducks and kicks Storm in the gut. CB has Storm in a front face lock. Tyrone lifts Storm up and spins him around - CRAZY SLAM ONTO A LADDER!!! "N- n- now th- that don't kill me Shane throws his arm off to the side and drills Justin in the throat. Moreno almost falls off, but then he sends a tomahawk chop to Derek’s temple. Shane shuffles his feet, trying to stay up, but Moreno looks over his shoulder at the announce table, hooks his arm around Derek’s neck, and then leaps backwards… They both flip over backwards… AND CRASH THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! "I need you to hurry up now Reaching the top turnbuckle, Adam Davis easily hops up and grabs the cable, then slowly makes his way towards the middle of the ring. Hand over hand, Adam Davis looks down and doesn’t notice anything which might impede him. Getting to the center, Adam swings one of his legs up onto the other cable, enabling him to just hold onto his cable with one arm. Reaching up, Adam Davis grabs the Tao of Valor championship down from its holder, then puts it over his shoulder, and then letting himself drop down to the mat, landing on his feet. "I know I got to be right now Moreno is makes his way around the ring to the entrance walkway and looks up the aisle to see that someone has appeared at the other end from backstage and it's not a medic - a black mask mask covers the persons head and on the front is a silver theatre tragedy mask. Two people step out from the back and stand on either side of Mr. Alan Smithee. We recognize them as Shadow and Elena Pisk. Moreno quickly looks around for a weapon or something to defend himself, but nothing is close, and it doesn't look as if anyone is advancing towards him yet. The three of them look towards Moreno but don't make a move yet. "Man I've been waitin' all night now Two more men appear from behind "The Director", one stands beside Shadow while the other stands beside Elena. Moreno's eyes go big and he shakes his head like he can't believe what he is seeing. He bends down and reaches under the ring apron and quickly grabs a trash can lid before turning his attention back to the entrance aisle. Moreno looks across the walkway seeing that he is out numbered as the group starts to move toward him. He slides back into the ring and takes a defensive stance with the trash can lid and waits. "I need you right now Moreno looks back and forth from the 3 men and to Elena and "The Director" on the walkway, expecting a sneak attack, but no one makes any attempt to get in the ring. The three men lift the bloody mess that is Shane out of the wreckage and climb back onto the entrance walkway. Once there the three men lift Shane into the air. Shadow and Dawson face forward with one of Shane's shoulders resting on one of theirs. Shadow on the left, Dawson on the right, and Elena Pisk standing in front of them. Behind them John James holds Shane's feet on his left shoulder. Moreno looks on from the ring as the group disappears into the back. Moreno seems a bit confused by everything that just happened, but he raises his arm holding the trash can lid into the air. He gets another cheer from the crowd for holding his ground, and then he makes his way to the back. "I don't know if you got a man or not, Gryffin grabs Cronos in a suplex position and lifts him up possibly going for the Eliminator jackhammer, but it is not to be Cronos fights it and as Gryffin lifts him up Cronos sends a knee into his face causing Gryffin to drop him to the mat. Cronos fires a stiff right to the gut of Anselm causing him to stumble back and drop to a knee. Cronos fires another right, but Gryffin grabs his wrist and sends him into the ropes. as Cronos rebounds off the ropes Gryffin springs up to his feet catching him and slamming him to the mat with a spear and spinebuster combo. Gryffin rolls to his side trying to catch his breath unable to follow up with a pin attempt. "Let's get lost tonight Cronos uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet, the crowd starts to boo loudly and when Cronos turns around he sees why as James Win, Tino, and Giovanni are standing right in front of him and immediately start beating him down with kicks and punches. Cronos tries to fight back, but 3 on 1 against someone who is already a bloody mess the Diabolik members quickly get the advantage. The three men drag Cronos to the center of the ring and James Winn sets him up for the Starburst pedigree when the crowd lets out a big cheer followed by some boos, and the three men look toward the entrance walkway. *** CUT *** James Win smiles as Voodoo climbs into the ring and points at Cronos with the bat and tell them to hold him up, and they do so. Voodoo rushes at Cronos with the bat, but quickly pivots and clotheslines James Win with the bat causing them to drop Cronos to the mat. Voodoo swings at Gino, but misses by about half an inch as Gino slides out of the ring. Voodoo goes after Giovanni next, but he has already started for the entrance walkway. Voodoo quickly chases all three members of the Diabolik to the back brandishing the baseball bat ready to hit a home run if he catches any of them. "God put me in the plans or not Both men push themselves to their feet blood dripping off them, Gryffin takes a swing at Cronos, but Cronos ducks and uses Gryffin's forward momentum to lift him up onto his shoulders and quickly flips him dropping him on head with the Lucifer's honor burning hammer. Cronos collapses on top of Gryffin and uses what little energy he has left to hook the leg. **** CUT *** Cronos slowly starts to make his way to the back and just when he is about to step through the curtain into the back someone steps through onto the walkway, and it's Voodoo still holding the bat. The two lock eyes and Voodoo grabs Cronos arm and raises it into the air as the crowd cheers then both men disappear into the back. "So how the hell could you front on me? With Thomas finally standing upright (albeit on spaghetti legs), Loco leaps off of the middle rope and lands directly on JT’s shoulders in position for a victory roll. On the way down though, John Thomas sits right down on Loco’s chest and grabs both legs. JT is pulled back to the canvas by the strength of Loco’s legs, and Loco holds his legs down with both arms for added leverage... "I'm trippin', I'm caught up in the moment right? Loco Martinez stands up straight and raises his taped fist in the air as “C’mon! C’mon!” comes on over the speaker system. He pulls his arm back down rather fiercely though as he realizes just how badly its actually hurting. He looks around at everyone and then back down at John Thomas who looks completely stunned that he just got pinned for the one, two, three. John Thomas looks up at Loco Martinez with a look of complete revulsion and simply shakes his head. "So we gonna do everything that Kan like Issac steps back though, directing “The Slayer” straight down against Greyson's wrist, causing him to drop the chair. As Blade's good hand goes down to cradle his wrist to his belly, Issac whips “The Slayer” in a windmill motion, hitting a straight clipping uppercut on the bottom of Blade's chin, the head of the iron club smacking right against the bone. Greyson's head snaps back, a jet of blood goes flying from his mouth, and it appears as though he's knocked out then and there. "Well I'd do anything for a blonde-dike Issac drops “The Slayer” and allows it to roll out of the ring. He staggers over to Greyson's motionless body, barely able to move himself. Using everything he has left, every reserve he's kept in his tank, Issac pulls Greyson up onto one shoulder for a canadian backbreaker. Entragian yanks down once, hopping up a little off the mat, putting as much torque as possible into Blade's wounded back. In that moment, as Issac looks out at the crowd, with Greyson's KO'd body on his shoulder, he thinks of every encounter where Greyson beat him. Every time Blade humiliated him, and this gives him added motivation to put the final nail into The Outlaw's coffin. With Blade still in tow, Issac leaps straight up into the air, coming down SQUARE on both knees, hitting his canadian backbreaker, the whiplash effect causing Blade to flip off his shoulder and smack face first into the canvas with the SPINAL DOOM! Entragian leans down after hitting his finisher, grabbing Greyson by the shoulder and turning him over. Issac plants both palms directly onto Greyson's chest, baring his cannibalistic teeth as the official begins the count. "And we'll do anything when the time's right The Ivory Terror pushes up to his feet, a triumphant smile still dawns on his face. Elizabeth Gaunt comes running across the elevated walkway from the back. Liz finally reaches the ring, rushing into Entragian's open arms and hugging him tightly. "N- n- now th- that don't kill me The fans roar as RAGE powerbombs Diego off the belts to the canvas, and RAGE remains a top the ladder, and he reaches up to the belts! The fans go crazy and VENOM now coming to goes and climbs into the ring to join his partner and claim his title. "I need you to hurry up now "I know I got to be right now "Man I've been waitin' all night now "I need you right now Crash goes for a short-arm clothesline, X-Calibur ducks... X-TERMINATOR!! "I need you right now Bloodied and beaten, X-Calibur puts his newly won World Title over his shoulder and takes a Diabolik signature shirt and kicks it into the crowd. "Work it, make it, do it,
The scene cuts back to the ringside area, giving us a look at the announce trio. Alan Ducard: Two nights ago, LEGACY kicked off the weekend with a show from the great Hammerstein Ballroom, and what a great evening of action it was. Jimmy Yates: The 2009 DESTINED FOR GREATNESS pre-show event was kicked off with a somewhat shocking win by International Incident over the veteran team of ANARCHY - a match that caused Loco Martinez to yell at Arch Angel and T.Rex later in the evening, not even allowing them to shower before leaving the building. Bryan Harris: Not surprisingly was how Thomas Manchester Black won the three-way match against James Win and Tim Jones - giving him more credibility - not that he needed it - towards gettng himself a title shot here in LEGACY. Alan Ducard: In a valiant effort, Diego de Cardenas lost to Ledge and Adam Davis in a tag match which was basically a handicap match due to a reported illness that Cronos Diamante was suffering from that kept him on the apron the entire match. Bryan Harris: In a taped match from a LEGACY International event, Osamu Hayashi once again proved that the student no longer needs the teacher as he defeated Katsuro Yoshida. Jimmy Yates: Two very accomplished competitors squared off for the first time ever, and Stephen Rawlings was able to defeat Kenji Yamada in a very spirited contest that really seemed out of place for a match by Kenji Yamada - as it contained almost nothing hardcore. Alan Ducard: And in the featured match of the night, Devastation finally got his revenge over Matthew Dawson in the evening's main event. Jimmy Yates: LEGACY continues to raise the bar with its pay per view weekend starting "appetizer" shows, as I would say that that night of action easily had a couple matches that could've been on the pay per view itself. The cameras pan from side to side of the entrance ramp, slowly drawing back toward the ring, revealing three black ladders standing upright on either side of the ramp, as well as glimpses of black ladders leaning against the security railing as the camera pans around ringside. The fans begin to cheer loudly as the camera then focuses on Josephina Colbert in the ring, the LEGACY World Tag Team Championships hanging high above her! Josephina Colbert: The following fatal four-way tag team contest is a LADDER MATCH! And it is for the LEGACY World Tag Team Championship!
The fans inside Madison Square Garden cheer loudly! Soon the cheering turns to jeers ads “I Don’t Care” by Fall out Boy hit’s the sound system speakers! Orange and sky blue lights flash around the suddenly darkened arena, before a silver and yellow spotlight shine high up in the rafters! FLASH Dynamite glides down, his orange cape flowing behind himself, as Kid Lightning zips down form the opposite angle, his sky blue cape flapping in the breeze behind himself! Bryan Harris: The superhero tandem of LEGACY is in the building! And they’re flying to the ring! Jimmy Yates:…I…we saw them setting up the wire and harness gimmick earlier today, Bryan… Bryan Harris: Shut up! We did not! Despite Bryan’s words, the duo seem to land in adjacent corners at the exact same time, and they both quickly move to release black harnesses form their hips. Thin, almost unseen, cables are seen dropping from the ceiling and being pulled into the hands of stagehands as quickly as possible, while the two Flying Avengers stand on their corners, staring out at the sea of booing faces! Josephina Colbert: Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 421 pounds! They hail from Metropolis, Illinois! Kid Lightning and FLASH Dynamite! The FLYYYIIING AAAVEEENGEEERS! The music slowly fades out as the duo jump off the corners and turn to face the entrance ramp. Redman and Method Man’s “How High (remix)” hit’s the speakers, and the fans begin to cheer as Joey Shepard and Conrad Kirk both step through the curtains at the top of the ramp! Instead of being bouncy and energetic, though, the two point at the Flying Avengers inside the ring, shouting out insults to the two masked men. Alan Ducard: A lot of history between these two teams, relatively speaking of course! Jimmy Yates: The Flying Avengers showed up at the expense of Homies Getting’ High, have made a mockery of them every time they’ve spoken about them, and continue to try and assault them every chance they get! Bryan Harris: So? Can you honestly say that HGH’s behavior can be justified? If you can, then you’re even sadder and more pathetic than even I thought you were, Jimbo. Joey and Conrad quickly make it down to the ramp, and Joey leaps up onto the apron, as Conrad grabs the second rope and pulls himself to stand on the apron. Josephina Colbert: And one set of their opponents. Weighing in at a combined weight of 456 pounds! Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! They are “White Boy” Joey Shepard and “Cap’n” Conrad Kirk! HOMIES! GETTING’! HIIIIIIIIGH! As the music slowly fades out and is replaced by “Fear” by Disturbed, the fans errupt into cheers! The cameras shoot to ringside momentarily to show the unmasked lower face of Kid Lightning, as he looks to be muttering to his partner, while FLASH stares through the narrow holes in his mask at the ramp, rubbing his wrists as the camera angle goes back to the entrance ramp just when Trent Logan steps out from the back. Trent turns and points at the curtain, just as “RAGE” Ben Murdock and “VENOM” Steve O’Reily step out form behind them, both stare snarling at the ring. As they march toward the ring, they seem to completely ignore the ladders set up around them. Jimmy Yates: Here’s another team that the Avengers haven’t exactly tried to get on the good side of, stealing a victory against them…something I’m sure the two bruisers would absolutely love to, well…avenge. Alan Ducard: The two brawlers have been a mainstay in LEGACY Tag Team wrestling for as long as I can remember, and that’s a long time, lads. So believe me when I tell you chaps, all they think about is getting back to the top of the mountain, and they don’t care who it is they have to go through to get there! Bryan Harris: he’s right, Jimmy. They don’t care if it’s the Avengers, the Homies, or the Agents. They will be out to destroy everyone in this match, and for everyone else’s sake they had better band together to dispose of these two behemoths! Josephina Colbert: And the final challengers! They weigh in at a combined weight of 585 pounds! They are accompanied to the ring by Trent Loga! “VENOM” Steve O’Reily and “RAGE” Ben Murdock! DOOOOOOOOOOOMIIIIIIIIIIIINAAAAAAAATIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOON! The two walk up the steps and move to either side of the corner. They slowly step into the ring through the ropes, as Trent Logan takes up a position at ringside, shouting instructions to his two clients before their music dies off. The fans slowly calm down, before “Resurrection” by Fear Factory hits, and the fans begin to boo. Alan Ducard: Here comes a man, though, that will have to compete tonight without his partner! Jimmy Yates: And he has to hope he can retain his tag team titles doing that, too! Bryan Harris: Big deal? You two should both be smart enough to know that Mirage, if no one else, is smart enough to do exactly that! Mirage steps out from behind the curtain, his eyes glued to the belts hanging above the ring as he begins to make his way down to the ring, being swarmed with deafening waves of jeers! He stares, focused, at the title belts, ignoring the six men in the ring already as he reaches the ring. He slowly steps up onto the apron and steps into the ring, calmly. Josephina Colbert: And their opponent, one of the champions! Representing the Agents of Destiny! MAAAAAAAAAAAARCUUUUUUUUUUUUS MIIIIIIIIIIIIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! The bell sounds, and immediately Mirage drops to the canvas and rolls out of the ring, backing up toward the commentary booth, as FLASH Dynamite and Kid Lightning both dart through the ropes and drop to the floor themselves, only they dash toward the ladders nearest the entrance ramp! Joey Shepard catches Mirage exiting and slides out of the ring on the same side and rushes him, catching him with a running forearm to the side of the head! Joey continues to forearm Mirage as the angle switches to catch RAGE exiting the ring to cut off the Avengers, while Conrad Kirk starts to do the same but gets clubbed across the back of the shoulders by VENOM! Alan Ducard: Already chaos is ensuing! Jimmy Yates: No one wants to find themselves on the receiving end of a beating early, and it looks like the Flying Avengers are aiming to climb some ladders as fast as they possibly can! Meanwhile, outside the ring, RAGE barrels into Kid Lightning from behind, sending him into the ladder he’s reaching for, chest first! FLASH turns his attention from the ladder he’s heading toward and drives his fist into the side of RAGE”s face! On the other side of the ring, Joey is on top of Mirage, delivering some fierce punches to his face, and back in the ring VENOM sends Conrad off the ropes, but Conrad reverses! VENOM hooks his arms over the top rope and stops his momentum, but Conrad rushes at VENOM and clotheslines him, sending them both right over the top rope to the floor! Joey has Mirage back to his feet and whips him toward the guardrail, but Mirage reverses! Joey leaps up to land on the railing and backflips as Mirage rushes at him, riding Mirage to the floor with a moonsault press! Bryan Harris: Action has spilled out on all sides of the ring, and whoa, look at the balance of Joey! Jimmy Yates: You almost sound like you might actually be impressed, Bryan. Bryan Harris: I assure you, you’re mishearing things. FLASH and RAGE trade punches outside the ring while Kid Lightning seizes the opportunity to slingshot himself into the ring! Kid lightning hits his feet running for the ropes and rebounds off of them for added momentum, he sprints to the other ropes and leaps up, landing with his feet on the top rope he immediately springboards off with a corkscrew Shooting Star Press! FLASH moves to the side at the last moment just as Kid Lightning collides with RAGE, driving RAGE to the floor! Jimmy Yates: Speaking of balance and aerial mastery, Kid Lightning just did the unthinkable! Alan Ducard: Impressive feat of acrobatics, for sure, and this action is all over the ringside area. Conrad is back to his feet, as is Joey, and together they pull VENOM to his feet. Together they whip VENOM into the security railing and VENOM collides with his back first into it! Joey rushes at VENOM and leaps up for a leg lariat against the barricade, but VENOM catches under Joey’s back and leg, and in one fluid motion he lifts Joey up and drives him down hard on the arena floor! As Joey writhes in agony and rolls to the side, Conrad rushes at VENOM, and VENOM ducks his shoulder down, launching Conrad up and over the railing and into the first row with a back body drop! Jimmy Yates: And just as one member of DOMINATION hit’s the floor, the other is cleaning house on the other side of the ring! Bryan Harris: With so many bodies at ringside, its going to be incredibly difficult for anyone to get a distinct advantage! Meanwhile, Kid Lightning and FLASH slide two ladders into the ring and follow them in quickly. Kid Lightning starts to set one of the ladders up, while FLASH watches things on the outside of the ring. Kid Lightning grins to his partner as the fans begin to boo, Kid Lightning starts climbing up the ladder! Mirage suddenly jumps up onto the apron, and FLASH moves to intercept him, but here comes VENOM from the other side of the ring! FLASH reaches for Mirage, but Mirage ducks under the arms and grabs him by the neck and drops, driving FLASH’s throat into the top rope! VENOM, inside the ring, grabs Kid Lightning from behind and pulls him off the ladder! VENOM grabs Kid Lightning by the back of his tights and the back of his mask and swings him around, throwing him through the ropes to the outside! Jimmy Yates: There’s a Fastball Special I’m sure Kid Lightning wasn’t too thrilled in being a part of! Alan Ducard: A what now? Jimmy Yates: Fastball special! It’s a combination move in comic book video games mostly… Bryan Harris: Neeeeeeeerd. Kid Lightning grabs the middle rope and swings himself to land with a knee on the apron, however, and steadies himself as VENOM starts climbing the ladder! The fans begin to cheer a little, as VENOM makes it about half-way up the ladder, when Kid Lightning suddenly springboards to the top and off again, with a well-placed dropkick to the back of VENOM’s shoulders! The ladder tips forward and VENOM crashes to the canvas as the ladder falls with him! Alan Ducard: Well whatever a Fastball Special is, Kid Lightning has recovered form it and has sent a very large man down to the canvas in the process! Bryan Harris: That’s a big drop for anyone, but the more one weighs, the more vicious gravity is to your body when you land! Kid Lightning pops back up to his feet and bends to pick up the ladder, just as Mirage slides into the ring from the side and rushes at him, driving a knee up into Kid Lightning’s face, and the masked acrobat snaps down to the canvas! Mirage quickly rushes out the other side of the ring as FLASH recovers from the impact on his throat moments ago and chases after him! Mirage rounds the corner outside the ring as Conrad is back to ringside, Conrad swings a clothesline at Mirage but Mirage ducks…and FLASH runs right into it instead! Joey is also back to his feet and he rushes at his partner, only to be launched into the air and comes down straight with both knees landing on FLASH’s chest! Alan Ducard: Some tandem offense on the outside from Joey and Conrad! Jimmy Yates: FLASH was just flattened! Meanwhile, RAGE slides into the ring and moves to the ladder that has fallen over. He lifts it and sets it up right in the center of the ring, as Trent Logan shouts encouragement at him from the outside! RAGE looks up at the title belts and starts to climb. Conrad slides in behind RAGE and pulls him down right into a waistlock and turns slightly as Joey rushes the ropes in front of them and rebounds! Joey leaps up with a leg lariat right as Conrad snaps RAGE up and over with a German suplex! Bryan Harris: More double-teaming from these two degenerates, and look at them! They’re eating it up! Jimmy Yates: Of course they are, and who can blame them? They’re the only ones standing right now, except for Mirage, and he’s not trying to go in there without some kind of advantage! Conrad quickly looks around as Joey points at the ladder and starts climbing! The fans begin to cheer, even as Kid Lightning starts pulling himself back to his feet in the corner! Conrad turns toward Kid Lightning just as Kid Lightning bursts out of the corner and rushes at him! Conrad pops Kid Lightning up into the air, as if to catch him for a power bomb, but Kid Lightning lands with his feet on Conrad’s shoulders and jumps off of them, landing on the ladder across from Joey! Bryan Harris: Now THAT is impressive! Joey meets Kid Lightning with a punch, and Kid Lightning returns fire with a forearm of his own! Conrad grabs Kid Lightning’s leg, but Kid Lightning kicks it hard into Conrad’s face! The fans are shouting for Conrad and Joey to hurt Kid Lightning, as Joey climbs a little higher! Conrad reaches for Kid Lightning’s leg again, but Kid Lightning grips a rung of the ladder tightly with both hands and kicks his legs out, and swings them back through the rungs of the ladder straight across to kick Joey right in his shins! The impact sends Joey out and he crashes with his chest and chin on the very top of the ladder before falling to the canvas below! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! Alan Ducard: … oh my… Kid Lightning releases the rung of the ladder he’s gripped and lands on his feet under the ladder! Conrad, after briefly checking on his partner, turns just as Kid Lightning comes out form under the ladder and reaches for Kid Lightning! Kid Lightning ducks under the arms and hit’s the ropes and rebounds right for Conrad, but Conrad catches Kid Lightning and sends him into the air, turning him in the process, and drives him down with a sort of falling Michinoku Driver! Kid Lightning bounces off his shoulder and neck and rolls out of the ring in pain! OHHHHHH! Conrad pushes back to his feet, just as VENOM is back in the ring! Conrad turns and VENOM kicks him in the abdomen before sending him face first into the ladder! The ladder falls over, and Conrad stumbles back into VENOM, who snaps Conrad up and over with a belly to back suplex! VENOM pushes to his feet, and out of nowhere, FLASH Dynamite leaps off the top turnbuckle and turns, catching VENOM in the face with a flying European Uppercut that drives VENOM to the canvas! Bryan Harris: Oh! Even FLASH Dynamite is flying through the air in this one! FLASH pushes to his feet and catches Mirage trying to sneak into the ring. Mirage looks at FLASH and puts his arms out, trying to rationalize with FLASH and then suddenly punches FLASH! FLASH shakes his head and stares at Mirage! Mirage swings another punch and FLASH catches him by the arm and sends Mirage to the ropes! FLASH catches Mirage on the rebound and tilt-a-whirls him, but Mirage twists through and rides FLASH down to the canvas with a bulldog! Jimmy Yates: The self-professed tilt-a-whirl master just got one of his signature tilt-a-whirls reversed! Bryan Harris: Mirage is as crafty as they come, and frankly, though he may be picking and choosing his spots, he’s doing very well for himself here especially considering he’s doing it alone! Mirage grins at the wreckage around him and moves toward the ladder, as the fans begin to boo! The booing turns to cheering, however, as RAGE slides into the ring behind Mirage! Mirage bends to pick up the ladder, but RAGE drives his forearm down across Mirage’s back! Mirage straightens up in pain, and RAGE hooks under Mirage’s arm and lifts him, before spinning him and driving him down back-first on the side of the ladder with a modified Blue Thunder Backbreaker that bends an entire side of the ladder, making it unusable! Jimmy Harris: Oh! And it looks like he might have to take a moment to recover and pick his moments a little better! Alan Ducard: Even with the most careful of planning, getting hurt in a match of this nature is inevitable for all involved, and I’m sure Mirage knew that coming into it. RAGE turns around just ads Joey has managed to pull himself back to his feet. Joey rushes at RAGE and wraps around him for a flying head scissors, and satellites all the way around before coming back to the front and switching the positions of his legs to snap RAGE over with a hurricanrana instead, and RAGE spills through the middle and bottom rope to the floor! Joey pushes to his feet and grabs the second ladder that was slid in earlier and starts to set it up! Joey steadies the ladder and starts to climb as the fans begin to cheer loudly! Bryan Harris: After an absolute maelstrom of activity, it looks like Joey Shepard has come out on top of it! Alan Ducard: If that is the case, then this contest could be all but settled in just a matter of moments. Joey climbs higher, slowly though, as his chest is obviously wracked with pain! Joey reaches, and then retracts his arm quickly as the stretching pulls on some ribs, and climbs a little higher! The cheering gets louder as Joey’s fingers brush the bottom of the title belts! Joey climbs another rung, and suddenly Kid Lightning springboards off the rope and lands on the opposite side of the ladder! Kid Lightning’s feet only touch the ladder for an instance as he leaps up onto Joey’s shoulders, looking for a hurricanrana, but Joey quickly drops off the ladder to the canvas, and in that instnace drives Kid Lightning’s back onto the top of the ladder with a power bomb, and Kid Lightning rolls off the top of the ladder and crashes to the canvas in agony! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! HO-LEE SHIT! Bryan Harris: Joey Shepard just murdered Kid Lightning! The live action moves to the top left corner as the bottom right corner is taken up by a replay of the power bomb on top of the ladder, from a camera above the ring! Jimmy Yates: You can actually see the pain in Kid Lightning’s eyes the moment his back hits that ladder! If he even begins to move after that it’ll be a miracle! The replay fades out and the entire shot is absorbed by the live action once more, as Joey steadies the ladder, having caught it and stopped it from falling over. Joey starts climbing the ladder, but RAGE slides in behind him and pulls him from the ladder. RAGE turns Joey around and whips him into the nearest corner, as Conrad pulls himself to his feet on the ring apron, and FLASH Dynamite starts to his feet inside the ring slowly. RAGE rushes at Joey and crashes into him in the corner with a big body avalanche that slumps Joey down a little in the corner. RAGE backs up and then rushes at Joey again, looking for a spear in the corner, but Joey swings through the ropes to the apron, and RAGE crashes into the ringpost, shoulder first! Conrad immediately rushes at RAGE along the apron and drives the bottom of his boot into the side of RAGE’s head, sandwiching it between his foot and the post! OHHHHH! Alan Ducard: Ben Murdock may be concussed after that impact! Joey Shepard spots FLASH in the ring and springboards to leap at him with a cross body, but FLASH side steps and drives both arms up into Joey’s chest and face, redirecting his momentum away form him and down to the canvas painfully with a Polish Hammer! OHHHHH! Jimmy Yates: And thanks to the Hammer of Justice, Joey Shepard might be joining RAGE on that injured list! FLASH turns immediately and steadies the ladder. He starts to climb it as Conrad steps through the ropes quickly and turns FLASH around. Conrad drives a punch into FLASH’s face, and FLASH retaliates with one of his own! VENOM slowly gets back into the ring himself, as another punch from Conrad staggers FLASH, and FLASH bumps into VENOM! FLASH turns around, and VENOM punches FLASH! FLASH turns right into a punch from Conrad, as the fans begin to cheer the game of human ping-pong! Conrad winds up for a big punch, and FLASH ducks under it! Conrad’s fist collides with VENOM instead, and VENOM returns fire with a punch of his own, while FLASH leans against the ropes to recover from the huge fists that crashed into his face! Alan Ducard: That moment of unity was short-lived, as now Conrad Kirk and Steve o’Reily are trading shots there in the middle of the ring! Bryan Harris: These guys know that the only friends they have out there are their own partners. They can’t rely on anyone else! VENOM and Conrad continue to trade punches, while on the outside, Kid Lightning is miraculously beginning to start getting to his feet! Kid Lightning stumbles back to the security railing, clutching his back, and he grabs a ladder! Kid Lightning turns to start sliding the ladder into the ring, but Joey is there and kicks him in the back! Kid Lightning drops the ladder with only part of it under the bottom rope! Joey moves to grab the other end of the ladder and straightens it up to try and slide it in, but Kid Lightning kicks him in the ribs, and Joey drops his end of the ladder right on the guardrail! Mirage is spotted watching the three larger men trade blows in the ring and the two smaller men trade kicks outside the ring. RAGE slowly gets to his feet behind Kid Lightning and Joey Shepard, and he grabs both their heads and drives them together before holding his own head in pain! Jimmy Yates: Even after all of those high impact blows, these men are still fighting! They know just how important being LEGACY World Tag Team Champion is! Bryan Harris: I suspect at least some of them are just fighting on instinct alone, all logic has left their minds! Kid Lightning falls to the side after his head collides with Joey’s! RAGE grabs Joey and drives his face into the edge of the ring! Meanwhile, in the ring, Conrad starts to drive quicker punches into VENOM’s face and whips him toward the ropes FLASH is composing himself against, right where the ladder is resting! VENOM hooks the rope with his arms and Conrad rushes at VENOM and FLASH, and together they both duck down and send Conrad up and over the top rope with a back body drop right onto the ladder! The ladder bends under the impact and weight! A collective groan of sympathy echoes across the Garden. Jimmy Yates: Whoa! That can’t feel good! Alan Ducard: I believe that would be a severe understatement, Jimmy! RAGE turns Joey around and pushes him up onto his shoulders in an electric chair position! Kid Lightning spots them and leaps onto the apron and springs right off, turning to catch Joey with a clothesline and rides him down off of RAGE’s shoulders right onto Conrad on the ladder! The ladder breaks the rest of the way under the combined weight and impact, as Kid Lightning tumbles through the blow to his feet! Meanwhile, Mirage has slid into the ring and is already half-way up the ladder in the ring! FLASH and VENOM both turn around and spot him, and together they rush the ladder and shoulder tackle it, knocking it out from under Mirage and sending him back down to the canvas! Bryan Harris: Mirage has been foiled again! Alan Ducard: He’s persistent, if nothing else! Mirage quickly rolls out of the ring to avoid any further abuse, as Kid Lightning and RAGE both slide into the ring. RAGE rushes and clubs FLASH in the back, while Kid Lightning rushes to dropkick VENOM in the back of the leg! FLASH stumbles into a corner, while VENOM hit’s the canvas holding the back of his leg! Kid Lightning is back to his feet quickly, and RAGE turns toward him! RAGE swings at Kid Lightning, and Kid Lightning ducks under it and hits the ropes as VENOM starts back to his feet! RAGE swings a back elbow to catch Kid Lightning on the rebound, but Kid Lightning ducks it and leaps o nto VENOM’s shoulders for a hurricanrana! VENOM holds onto his legs though and swings him up, spinning full circle with it and RAGE catches Kid Lightning as he comes down with a powerbomb and neck breaker combination! Bryan Harris: This doesn’t look good for! Kid Lightning’s body has got to be destroyed right now! Jimmy Yates: As much as I don’t care for his attitude, he’s one resilient kid. At least there’s that. RAGE pushes back to his feet and turns just as FLASH Dynamite explodes out of the corner with a bicycle kick into his face! VENOM turns and runs at FLASH, and FLASH steps into VENOM and snaps him up and over with a BIG power slam! FLASH pops back up to his feet and flexes both of his arms, his muscles tensing up as he does so, and the fans in the building begin to boo loudly at the showboating! FLASH turns to the ladder and sets it up. He looks up at the titles and releases a heavy sigh, before he starts to climb, unsteadily! FLASH gets half-way to the top before Mirage slides into the ring with a chair in his hands! Mirage swings the chair HARD into FLASH’s back with a thunderous CRACK, and FLASH drops off the ladder in a heap! OOHHHH! Alan Ducard: Not a very unique attack from Mirage, but there is no denying its effectiveness! Jimmy Yates: I guess when the three biggest men in the match are still in the ring, you need all the help you can get! Mirage sneers down at FLASH and starts driving the edge of the chair down into FLASH’s ribs! After several repeated shots to the ribs, Mirage throws the chair down! RAGE starts to his feet and Mirage spots him, Mirage slowly backs out of the ring as RAGE eyes him dangerously. RAGE turns his attention back to FLASH and pulls him to his feet! RAGE sends FLASH off the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a big spine buster! RAGE turns as Kid Lightning suddenly springs into view again, landing with his arm around RAGE’s neck, he spins and spikes RAGE to the canvas with a springboard spiking Tornado DDT! Alan Ducard: The Sonic Boom connects! How is Kid Lightning still standing after all that punishment he has endured?! Bryan Harris: that kid has guts and determination! He, and his partner, are truly modern day superheroes! Kid Lightning is slow to get to his feet, however, clutching his back and his neck. Kid Lightning sort of limps toward the ladder and sets it back upright. VENOM stops Kid Lightning before he can start to climb, by grabbing him by his arm. VENOM turns Kid Lightning around, as VENOM pushes the rest of the way to his feet, Kid Lightning slaps VENOM across the face! VENOM stares down at Kid Lightning and shakes his head slowly. VENOM gerabs Kid Lightning by the throat and starts pushing him backward, as FLASH Dynamite pushes to his feet and rushes VENOM from behind, hitting him with a Polish Hammer across the back of the shoulders! VENOM releases Kid Lightning and FLASH turns him around and hits him with an inverted atomic drop! Kid Lightning takes the two running steps away fro m the ropes as FLASH lifts VENOM up with a flapjack, Kid Lightning catches him with a bulldog and rides him down to the canvas! Jimmy Yates: And now it’s the Flying Avengers’ turn to hit some double-team offense! Bryan Harris: This is their opportunity! Kid Lightning moves toward the ladder, when suddenly Mirage grabs FLASH by his legs and pulls him out of the ring! Mirage quickly whips him with all his might into the security railing, crashing FLASH’s back into the barricade! RAGE grabs the ladder and uses it to pull himself back to his feet, and punches through the rungs into Kid Lightning’s gut! RAGE starts climbing the ladder as Kid Lightning recovers from the body punch. RAGE climbs higher, and Kid Lightning desparately chops into RAGE’s chest to halt his climb! Kid Lightning starts to climb higher, and RAGE punches him in the face! Suddenly the fans begin to stir with confusion as Cronos Diamante starts running down the ramp! Jimmy Harris: What..? What’s Cronos Diamante doing out here?! Alan Ducard: I don’t know, but at the top of that ladder Kid Lightning and RAGE are throwing everything they can at each other! Kid Lightning kicks around the ladder into RAGE’s ribs, and climbs higher! His hand touches the title belts just as Cornos runs into the ring and runs right for the ladder! Cronos shoves the ladder over as hard as he can! Both kid Lightning and RAGE fall from the ladder, RAGE lands with his throat across the top rope as Kid Lightning actually spills over the top rope and lands with his back on the ring apron before he crashes to the arena floor! Mirage slowly slides into the ring as Cronos grabs the chair left in the ring! Mirage grabs the ladder and sets it up, looks at Cronos, and Cronos nods! The fans begin to boo! Bryan Harris: Well there’s our answer! He came down to help out Mirage! Mirage starts to climb the ladder, as Cronos stands guard with the chair in his hand! Not that its necessary, as not a single body is stirring! Mirage grabs both title belts, and the fans boo even louder once the bell sounds! Mirage carefully climbs down the ladder and hands one of the title belts to Cronos! “Resurrection” by Fear Factory hit’s the airwaves, as Josephina Colbert struggles to be heard of the chorus of jeers! Josephina Colbert: here are your winners, and LEGACY World Tag Team Champions! MARCUS MIRAGE and CRONOS DIAMANTE! Jimmy Yates: Wait... what did she say?! Alan Ducard: I believe that not only have the Agents of Destiny retained the World Tag Team Championships... but they've also seemingly gained a new member. Jimmy Yates: Is that even legal? Is Cronos Diamante REALLY a champion now?! Bryan Harris: You bet he is! He was out here for the ladder match, and I'm sure he cleared it up with the front office that he was a contestant... Jimmy Yates: I really don't see how that's fair at all! Bryan Harris: Why not, it's not like the A.o.D. had more than one wrestler in the match! Alan Ducard: I suppose it could easiliy be something that either Mirage or Cronos Diamante could've spoken to the front office about... and this does beg the question as to whether or not Cronos was actually sick on Friday at the pre-show. Jimmy Yates: He didn't step foot into the ring during that match. Where's the HONOR in that?! Bryan Harris: The HONOR?! I'll tell you this... guys who end up with championship GOLD don't have to worry about where the HONOR is. Smirks on their faces, Mirage and Cronos head back to the entrance stage, World Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulders.
Shinedown’s “Sound of Madness” roars to life like a twisted engine, the vocals seared with emotion, setting the tone for a Main Event of epic proportions. A sharp video feed follows along with the song, showcasing both champion and challenger and their respective paths through LEGACY. “Yeah, I get it, you’re an outcast.” X-Calibur arriving on the scene as the epitome of the antihero, cutting through competition like cordwood, making his mark on LEGACY. “Always under attack, always coming in last.” Various shots of Eryk Van Warren taking on a plethora of different superstars over the course of his career, smashing some to the canvas with the X-Terminator, and damn near crippling others with Legendary Pain. The likes of Crash, Loco Martinez, Devastation, Greg Allocca, no one is safe. “Bringing up the past, No one owes you anything.” A montage of X-Calibur’s early career before joining LEGACY, including his time in SHOOT Project and his World Championship reigns. “I think you need a shotgun blast, a kick in the ass.” X taping his wrists in the back, smoothing back his long wet hair, looking as though he’s more than willing to deliver a few “shotgun blasts.” “So paranoid, watch your back.” The screen flickers, turning to a sinister black and white, the feed cuts in and out, showing mere one second flashes of a rictus grin with razor sharp teeth and a serpent-like forked tongue. “Oh my, here we go, another loose cannon gone bi polar.” The Ivory Terror swims into view in all his deranged glory, seven feet of pale muscle and one sick and rabid mind within his skull. “Slipped down, couldn’t get much lower. Quicksand’s got no sense of humor.” Issac Entragian arriving on the scene as a grinning engine of pure destruction, his dark appetites knowing no bounds, ripping his way through the No Limits Division like a demon through a lake of fire. “I’m so sick of this tombstone mentality, if there’s an afterlife, then I’ll set you free.” Various shots of Entragian eliminating all those who dare wander into his crosshairs, crushing his opposition into his knee with The Disemboweler, and practically breaking backs with Spinal Doom. The likes of Matt Towers, Damien Black, Greyson Blade, Derek Shane, no one escapes his wrath. “But I’m not gonna part the seas, you’re a self fulfilling prophecy.” X-Calibur raises the World Championship high, clenched in one sweat-soaked fist, his face a cruel mask of determination. Issac stalks to the ring with the No Limits Championship wrapped around his waist, still stained in the blood of fallen enemies. “You think that crying to me, looking so sorry that I’m gonna believe.” X-Calibur fucking Greg Allocca’s love interest, driving mental torpedoes of damage into an already troubled mind, and as Greg’s mental state crumbles, X-Calibur smirks, his eyes satisfied. Entragian hanging Derek Shane from the rafters by a steel chain and a meat hook, the albino’s face a mask of sick pleasure as he seems almost to feed on Derek’s fear. “You’ve been infected by a social disease, Well, take your medicine.” X-Calibur and Entragian stand toe to toe in the ring, The Pale Rider looming over X-Calibur, yet X doesn’t back down, chest pressed against chest as the verbal war begins. “I created the sound of madness.” Entragian shakes his head back and forth like a feral animal, white hair flying, his sharpened teeth gnashing together, a white snake man that’s come forth out of Eden to spread his corruption. Flashes of Entragian’s insane deeds, the hanging of Derek Shane, the marking of an upside down cross on his forehead using Greyson Blade’s blood, and images of his Hannibal Lecter-like urge to use the teeth during a raw fight. Those cannibalistic teeth have pierced the flesh of many a great warrior, Greyson Blade, Damien Black, Ethan Leers, they’ve all felt that supremely disturbing pain. “I wrote the book on pain.” X-Calibur strides down to the ring, his face painted in an intimidating design, fire spurting from all around the ring as the antihero prepares to bear down on Allocca. Like a dragon in the form of a man, X never falters, he bleeds buckets and still devours all that make the mistake of standing in the path of greatness. So many have been blasted to the canvas via the X-Terminator, their necks feeling like brittle as they gaze up at the arena lights, wondering what went wrong… “Somehow I’m still here, to explain.” X-Calibur & Entragian brawl through the bowels of an arena, their egos bashing against one another like bulls in a pen, neither man backing down from the hellish fight. Flash to Entragian catching a spine buster through a table, and a flash to X-Calibur being choke tossed into a concrete wall. “That the darkest hour never comes in the night. You can sleep with a gun.” X-Calibur smacks a tire iron into Entragian’s jaw, dropping the big white bastard. Entragian sits right up and keeps coming, whipping X’s arm into the hood of sedan and then proceeding to annihilate the World Champion with a Disemboweler on the hood of the car. To add insult to injury, Entragian THROWS X-Calibur through the windshield, his skull shattering the glass, and the result is an unconscious X-Calibur. “When you gonna wake up and fight, for yourself? Once more Entragian and X-Calibur stand in the ring, but this time
X-Calibur stands atop a steel chair, looking DOWN on the albino monster.
Their eyes burn with the will to win, X-Calibur with an unshakable iron
heart and Issac with the twisted power and endurance of a lion. The
shot closes with X & Issac in the ring, both men knowing what awaits
them. |
