With the crowd buzzing, anticipating the Co-Op Challenge which they know is coming next, Josephina Colbert stands in the middle of the ring. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been a full year, but it's time, once again, for the Co-Op Challenge!!! The fans immediately begin cheering, very excited for the match to determine the top contender to the World Championship. Letting the pop die down a moment, Josephina continues. Josephina Colbert: This match is set for 14 falls and has NO time limit!! The winner will go on to face the World Champion in the Main Event at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS 2009!! Introducing first, the three competitors who will begin this match... The arena goes dark, and as a driving bass-line begins to play over the speakers, the LEGACY Vision Jumbotron lights up with the logo of the first competitor.
Jimmy Yates: It's John Thomas! YES!! I don't think I could've asked for a better way to start this year's Co-Op! Josephina Colbert: Representing "Team Sizzle" as its Captain... "The Durable One"... JOHN... THOMAS!! Alan Ducard: This could very well be seen as an unfortunate draw for "Team Sizzle", but John Thomas has built his career on being able to rely on his supreme amount of cardio-vascular fitness and his durability. Bryan Harris: Yeah, a guy like Greyson Blade or Herb Moxley? They'd be TOAST to enter this early. Their chances would be "NIL" as you Brits like to say, but The Durable One? He could still win from this position. As the jazzy remix of Filter's "Hey Man Nice Shot" plays, John Thomas walks out onto the entrance stage, flanked by security guards in front of him and behind him, with his girlfriend Anastasia Ewing walking beside him. She's wearing a white dress which doesn't even come close to touching her knee, and as it gets to her navel, it splits into two parts, each running vertically up and connecting behind her neck. John Thomas compliments her outfit, wearing white ring gear pants, a blue and black tribal art design covering large portions of the sides of his leg. Jimmy Yates: If Anastasia Ewing is going to wear outfits like that to escort John Thomas to the ring, I'd like to see him booked multiple times per show. Walking the elevated rampway which connects directly to the ring apron, as John Thomas and crew pass the craned camera, we see the image of a horse-shoe logo on the ass of his tights, a "J" on one side, a "T" on the other. Reaching the ring apron, the security guards who were in front of him step to either side on the apron, the ones behind him stop. John turns and kisses Anastasia on the mouth, a kiss that lasts the better part of eight seconds, juicy enough that the production crew switches to a wide shot of the arena. After taking off his blue shirt and handing it to Miss Ewing, Thomas ducks into the ring under the top rope, walking past Josephina Colbert and waiting in the far corner. Alan Ducard: This could be the one moment that John Thomas gets to remain still and analyze his options tonight as he watches the entrance of his other two co-primary entrants. Bryan Harris: Oh, and for any other John Thomas doubters out there? Let me remind you that he entered first last year, and he made it all the way to the final five. Jimmy Yates: Yeah, with a little help from Gryffin Anselm. The lights remain down, and the only spotlight is again on LEGACY's beautiful ring announcer. Josephina Colbert: Representing "The KINDRED" as its captain... Even in the dark, the ringside camera picks up a look of mild horror on John Thomas' face as Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" begins to play over the speakers. The view then switches to a shot of the entrance stage and the LEGACY Vision jumbotron. Josephina Colbert: ..."The Albino Abomination"... ISSAC... ENNNNNNTRAGIAN!!!
The wideshot of the arena allows us to see the ring and the entrance stage, all of which is bathed immediately in a bright pale white light, washing everything out. As his entrance theme music continues to play, Issac walks out through the curtain. With all the lights from all the different angles, not a shadow is visible, making it hard to see where the Albino Abomination's white leather pants and signature KINDRED shirt end and the backdrop begins. His hands taped, they wipe stray strands of hair out of his face behind his ears. As the camera zooms in, we see the filed, sharpened teeth of The Pale Rider as his mouth forms into a smile. Jimmy Yates: John Thomas can't be feeling good about this, knowing he's going to be in the ring from the very opening bell with Issac Entragian, a man who I don't think he's ever faced before. Alan Ducard: I would certainly think that this would be an interesting way to match up with Issac for the first time, but John Thomas had to know that their paths might cross, and he's had a few weeks to prepare for the encounter. Now we'll have to see how his preparations pay off. Jimmy Yates: He'd better start praying now that whoever the third member of this opening trio turns out to be, that it's someone who could be his ally. Getting to the edge of the entrance walkway, Issac pauses momentarily and locks eyes with John Thomas, who is trying his best to hide any signs of worry. Lifting his long legs, Entragian steps over the depressed top rope and enters the ring. He begins in the direction of the corner that John Thomas occupies, and the moment John flinches, Issac lets out a cackle and heads to the other unoccupied far corner. Alan Ducard: This could be very interesting as we get the third competitor here in a moment, the individual who will round out the trio starting the Co-Op Challenge for the opening 90 seconds. Bryan Harris: If it's Gryffin Anselm, you can bet that Cronos Diamante and Justin Moreno are gonna be throwing up backstage, 'cause they'll probably never see this match, 'cause Gryffin and John together? They'll eliminate Issac before the 4th competitor is announced. Alan Ducard: Issac Entragian is a team captain, and so neither Cronos Diamante nor Justin Moreno will get to enter the match if Issac is eliminated prior to their numbers being called... but I would think that Issac's going to be in there for a while. Jimmy Yates: We're about to find out! Josephina Colbert: Introducing third, representing "Team Outlaw"... The crowd lets out in a chorus of "OOOHHH!!" in unison as "If You Want Blood... You Got It" by AC/DC starts up, and Josephina continues her introduction. Josephina Colbert: "DIAMOND"... DEEEEEL... CAAAARVER!!!
As Del Carver steps through the curtain, the ovation gets louder for him. Reaching the edge of the entrance stage, the wily veteran raises a fist in the air to acknowledge the cheers, and then he lowers his arm and points towards the ring and starts nodding. Alan Ducard: What a very diverse trio this becomes, as Diamond Del Carver is going to be part of the opening three to begin this Co-Op Challenge. Bryan Harris: I couldn't have asked for a better person for John Thomas to have at his side to start off against Issac Entragian than the man with whom Issac Entragian has been sharing some crazy mind games backstage over the past couple months. Jimmy Yates: Quite a few people have been talking about how they can't wait to see Carver lock it up with Issac, and now we're going to get to see that early on here in the first of tonight's two big main events. Reaching the ring apron, Carver again acknowledges the fans before entering the ring, at which point he takes off his signature Diamond Del Carver tshirt and tosses it into the crowd where the nearby fans all reach up and try to grab it like a foul ball at a baseball game. Grinning, Carver eyes John Thomas, then Issac. Referee Ross Quattro enters the ring as Josephina Colbert is getting set to exit, and he holds down the rope for her and watches in awe as she exits. With a smile, he walks to the middle of the ring and looks to each of the three competitors, checking to see if they're ready to go. After each of them has acknowledged, Ross rapidly points to the time keeper's table with both arms, as if enacting a cartoonish old-west gunfight, and the opening bell rings. Quattro runs and slides out of the ring under the bottom rope. Alan Ducard: And as Dark Knight fans like to say... "Here... we... GO!!" Bryan Harris: Wow, a Brit acting like a cliche American? Glad to see you're starting to adjust to being state-side, Big Al! Without even looking in John Thomas' direction, Del Carver and Issac Entragian meet in the middle of the ring, ending up inches apart. For the first couple moments, there's only silence. The words that come out of Issac's mouth are inaudible, but it appears as if he says "Welcome to LEGACY". Carver responds with inaudible words which you can't decipher by reading lips, but the grin grows wider on Issac's face - Del doesn't look amused. Jimmy Yates: A very tense moment between these two, we've seen plenty of the mind games going back and forth between them backstage, and I imagine this could explode at any second. Believing himself to be save in his corner, John Thomas hops up onto the turnbuckle to sit and watch the events transpire. Noticing this out of the corner of his eye, Issac charges over, leaving Carver in the middle of the ring. Trying to avoid being included in the action this early, JT tries to escape over the top rope onto the apron, but Issac's pale hand reaches over and grabs him by the neck and proceeds to pull him back into the ring over the top rope, choking him along the way. Jimmy Yates: John Thomas coming right back into the ring "the hard way"! Alan Ducard: Just as a reminder, had John Thomas hit the floor, he would not have been eliminated, as typical Battle Royal rules of "over the top" elimination do not apply to the Co-Op Challenge - only pinfalls and submissions. Taking John by the wrist, Issac sends him halfway across the ring with an irish whip. Crashing into Del Carver, John Thomas ricochets and hits the mat. Del looks down at John, who is trying to get up, and shoves him aside. Carver waves Issac on, challenging him to join him in the center of the ring, much to the excitement of the fans, who immediately start cheering again. Bryan Harris: EPIC time!!! Issac charges in, landing the first punch. Carver reels, but he returns with a punch of his own. A two-punch combination follows from Issac, putting Del on his heels. Despite another strong shot from Carver, Issac lays into him again, knocking him back into the corner. After absorbing a kick to the gut, it looks like Carver is out of breath already, but a moment after Issac follows up with another hard right hand, Del lifts Entragian up off the mat, steps out of the corner and trades places with him, slamming the Albino's back into the top turnbuckle before slamming the brunt of his elbow into the side of Issac's face. After another hooking punch that connects to the side of his face, Issac drops to the mat. Jimmy Yates: That'll quiet any of Carver's detractors in a hurry!! Alan Ducard: Del Carver certainly looking good against one of LEGACY's best here early on, but John Thomas is now looking to get himself involved! Charging in, JT connects with a dropkick to the back of Del's shoulder, sending him stumbling into the turnbuckle. Not letting Carver get away, John locks onto Del's wrist and yanks down on the arm, putting strain on the shoulder before he pulls DDC towards the middle of the ring. Bryan Harris: That a boy, JT! Attack LEGACY's oldest shoulder!! Again JT yanks on Del's arm, maintaining the standing armbar, but as John starts to grin, Carver pulls him in and COMPLETELY takes him off his feet with a short clothesline. Jimmy Yates: Ha! That little flurry of offense from John didn't last too long, did it? Moving in slowly, Issac Entragian drills Carver on the back with a single-arm clubbing blow, dropping him to his knees a couple feet from John Thomas, who rolled over, holding his jaw. The view then switches to a shot of the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, where we see the countdown timer showing the final seconds of the opening 90 second period prior to the first entrant. The Detroit Red Wings' goal signalling buzzer echoes throughout Joe Louis Arena as the clock hits zero, and the fans all look to the curtain in anticipation, along with Issac Entragian, to see who is going to be the fourth competitor in the match.
Alan Ducard: Oh my! Out of the first four competitors in the match, now THREE of them are team captains! Wearing a very colorful pair of pants and a Team Jester tshirt, Jester Smiles rushes out from backstage as his theme music plays. Sprinting the entire length of the entrance walkway, he uses his hands on the top rope to help propel himself into the ring, and immediately he sends a dropkick to the shins of Issac Entragian, dropping him to a knee. When Issac gets back on his feet, Jester Smiles is right there and connects with a headbutt that sends Issac stumbling backwards into the far corner. Jimmy Yates: That's one HELL of a headbutt by Jester Smiles! Charging in, Jester Smiles leaps up onto the second rope and drills Issac in the face a couple times with quick right hands, then holds onto Entragian's shoulders, puts his feet on Issac's thighs and springs backwards, sending Issac into the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. Rolling backwards, Jester springs back up to his feet, then falls forwards, connecting with a falling headbutt onto Issac in the process, the fans cheering at the quick display. Elsewhere, Del Carver lifts John Thomas up off the mat, blocking a quick punch thrown by John and retaliating with a jab of his own. Hoisting JT up off his feet, Carver flips John upside down and slams him down onto the mat. Seeing an opening, Jester yells something to Del, who moves out of the way and Smiles rushes in and drops a leg drop across John's throat. Reaching over, Jester hooks a leg and attempts to eliminate John Thomas. ONE...! TWO...!! NO!! Alan Ducard: John Thomas shouldering out to stay in this match, as Jester Smiles tries to get a little redemption for John's involvement in the main event at STRIFE 52 where Loco Martinez got a win in a non-title match primarily because of Thomas' involvement. Turning around to look for his other opponent, Del Carver gets hit with an uppercut from Issac Entragian that backs DDC up into the ropes. Breathing in deeply, Issac then charges in and clotheslines Carver over the top rope to the outside. Bryan Harris: If only that counted as an elimination... Damn rules. When The Ivory Terror turns around, he locks eyes with Jester Smiles, and immediately moves in on him. Jester gets the upperhand first, dropping to a knee as he moves in and connecting with a right hand to the gut of Issac, but Entragian battles back, slamming down with a double-axhandle smash on Jester, putting him down onto the mat. Hoping to keep him down for a moment, Issac stomps down onto Jester Smiles a few times. The view then turns to the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, which displays the final seconds of the countdown timer, the goal signaling horn ringing out as the clock hits zero.
Alan Ducard: The first member of Marcus Marion's chosen team is on his way to the ring, and thus far with five competitors in the match, all teams are represented. Bryan Harris: Make no mistake in thinking that Adam Davis is going to be a push-over. He might not be the captain of his team, but he is a former World Champion, and he knows what it takes to get back there. He's got the skills, and if he doesn't have any lingering injuries, he could make a serious impact on this match. Jimmy Yates: I don't think there are too many people signed up for the Co-Op Challenge this year who couldn't feasibly come out of the match as the Number One Contender to the World Title... except for maybe Osamu Hayashi. Bryan Harris: Don't underestimate Hayashi, the kid's got heart, brains, speed, technical skills... he could surprise you. The name I think you meant to say is Herb Moxley! As "Iceman" Adam Davis walks the entrance walkway towards the ring, the cameras get back to the action. Del Carver is back up on the apron, and John Thomas moves in and tries to knock him back off with a right hand, but Del blocks it and connects with one of his own. Quickly getting back into the ring, Carver connects with a hooking blow to JT's ribs, doubling him over, and then executes an inverted atomic drop, stunning Thomas in his tracks. Alan Ducard: Again John Thomas' offense gets slowed to a halt before it really gets a chance to start. Before Carver can do any more damage, Adam Davis is on him, spins him around and hits him in the face with a left hand. Keeping his hands close, The Iceman grabs Del around the back of the neck and drops to the mat with a jawbreaker. Carver remains on his feet, but he holds his jaw, obviously in quite a bit of pain. Returning to his feet from being down on a knee, JT slams a forearm into Carver's face. Looking a bit confused by the assistance from John, Adam Davis steps in and shoves Carver backwards, swinging his leg through to execute a modified STO to trip Del up and send him to the mat. As he gets upright again, The Iceman steps to the side and swings upwards with a backfist, connecting to the side of John's face with a smack, sending John down to the mat. Taking Jester by the wrist, Issac lifts him up off the mat after a short breather and then whips him into the ropes. On the rebound, however, Jester leaps into the air and connects with a forearm shot that flattens the Albino Abomination down to the mat. Without returning to his feet, Jester Smiles thrusts his feet forward, connecting to Issac's ribs with a significant amount of impact. Wincing, Issac struggles and tries to work his way back up off the mat, Jester trying to do the same. Jimmy Yates: Innovative attack by Jester Smiles, and it's things like that seated piston kick that are going to help someone take the number one contenders spot tonight by winning the Co-Op Challenge. Jester Smiles is the first of the duo to get back to his feet, and he drives his knee into Issac's chest, keeping him doubled over. Hooking his arm around Entragian's head, Jester attempts to lift Issac up off the mat, potentially going for a vertical suplex, but the Ivory Terror shakes his legs and disrupts Smiles' attempt. Before Jester Smiles can try a second time, Issac hooks his long arms around Jester's waist, lifts him up and drives forward, slamming him back first into the corner turnbuckle. Bryan Harris: Actually, Yates, it's brutal impacts like that from Issac Entragian which are going to break most of the guys signed up for the Co-Op, not some "innovative" kicks that don't have any stopping power. Alan Ducard: Well there's still plenty of time left to go in the match, and as you can all plainly see, we're presently about to reach the four and a half minute mark, which will signal the entrance of the fourth competitor in this match. Jimmy Yates: There's the signal noise, let's see who's on their way... and with all the teams represented already, we're about to see one of the teams get a double-team opportunity!
Alan Ducard: And now we have our fifth captain... Jimmy Yates: Greyson Blade?! This is HUGE!! And you can bet that Issac Entragian's going to be the next one eliminated! Bryan Harris: That's assuming that Greyson Blade's going to be targeting Issac, and if he's smart, he won't be. Just because they had bad blood for most of 2008, that doesn't mean they HAVE to fight each other every time they're in the ring together. Standing back from the corner where Jester Smiles has slumped down to the mat, Issac Entragian hears "Outlaw Torn" being played and he looks to the entrance stage and watches as "The Outlaw" walks through the curtain. Blade maintains a constant pace as he walks towards the ring, taking off his signature tshirt as he gets halfway across the entrance walkway. His eyes narrowing back to slits, Issac turns around and stomps down onto Jester Smiles, turning his back on Greyson, who has yet to even reach the ring. The moment Greyson enters the ring, the competitors back up, seeing that The Outlaw's gaze is fixated on John Thomas, who is scurrying, trying to get up off the mat. Jimmy Yates: Wow, I guess John Thomas is reaping what he has sown over the past few weeks, as Greyson Blade is going right for him! Alan Ducard: Looking back to STRIFE 50, it was John Thomas who kept Greyson Blade from defeating Loco Martinez for the LEGACY World Title, so you can hardly blame The Outlaw for being sore at John. Before John can even get back up to his feet, he gets clotheslined down to the mat by Blade. This time, John doesn't even try to stand up, and he quickly rolls to the side and exits the ring underneath the bottom rope. Watching him go in slight disbelief, Greyson Blade walks over to the ropes and exits the ring, following after John, who sees The Outlaw coming and moves around the ring, holding himself up with the aid of the apron, making his way around to the other side of the ring slowly, with Greyson stalking after him. Bryan Harris: If Greyson Blade's going to chase around after John Thomas and fixate on him just because of one little thing that happened over a month ago, he's dumber than I thought!! Back in the ring, "Iceman" Adam Davis connects with a kick to the leg of Issac Entragian, then blocks a punch Entragian throws his way and sends a kick to the gut of the Albino Abomination. Grabbing The Pale Rider by the head, Adam Davis hoists him up and over with a snap suplex. Maintaining his grasp, Davis rolls backwards into a mounted position atop Issac and then drives a forearm into the side of Entragian's face. A second one connects before Issac's even able to cover up. With his forearms acting as guards, Issac puts his hands on Adam and shoves him aside, taking him out of the mounted position and giving him some room. Outside the ring, Greyson Blade has chased John Thomas all the way around the ring, stalking at a moderate pace the entire way, and John ducks underneath the entrance walkway, popping up on the other side, increasing the distance between him and Greyson, who continues after him. The camera again shows the LEGACY Vision jumbotron counting down the final moments before the next competitor is scheduled to join the fray, and as the loud horn signals the next entry, the jumbotron switches to the logo of the next entrant.
The fans cheer wildly as Herb Moxley steps out from the back with Jen X at his side. The duo make their way across the entry walkway, the cheering fans reaching up, trying to get Herb's attention. Some of them actually get high fives during the trek. Alan Ducard: And now it's Team Jester who will have the opportunity for a double-team, which we didn't see in the past 90 seconds, with Greyson Blade exiting the ring to try to get his hands on John Thomas. Jimmy Yates: I can't think of anyone who Herb Moxley would want to fixate on in the ring at the moment, so I think you're right, he probably will try to go for a double-team situation with Jester Smiles. When they reach the ring apron, Herb Moxley says something to Jen X, who points back at the entrance stage / curtain area, and Moxley nods. After sharing a hug, Jen X heads back to the locker room area just as Anastasia Ewing did earlier. Bryan Harris: Why is it that all these hot ladies keep coming out here, but none of them are staying at ringside area?! Alan Ducard: I'm supposing that with 15 men in this match, there's a rule in place regarding managers and valets staying at ringside. Bryan Harris: That's alright, I've got mental pictures I guess. Entering the ring, Herb Moxley immediately moves in and helps his Team Captain - Jester Smiles - back up to his feet, dusting off his shoulders for him. Moxley then notices that John Thomas is entering the ring not far from them, and just as JT returns to his feet, Moxley moves in and arches back as if to hit John, freezing JT in his tracks. Returning to a defensive pose, Moxley then gets his arms up into the Crane Kick position, and John takes a couple step backwards, hitting the ropes. Lowering his foot, Moxley grins, and John Thomas realizes that Greyson Blade just stepped up onto the apron behind him. Jimmy Yates: That's the problem about running from someone... often they catch up to you!! Pulling John Thomas backwards, bending down the top rope, Greyson Blade hammers down onto John's chest, sending him stumbling into the middle of the ring. The Outlaw reenters the ring, hammers down on JT before hoisting him up off the mat into the air in a gorilla press. After holding him there for a moment, Greyson lets John drop down onto his shoulder, where he immediately dives forward and completes a powerslam. Hooking a leg, Blade goes for a pinfall and Ross Quattro dives into the ring under the bottom rope and starts applying the count. ONE!! TWO!!! NO!!! Adam Davis takes a moment away from working over Issac Entragian and breaks up the count, flashing a grin at Greyson. Iceman then turns around and gets hit with a kick to the chest, taking him back a step. Issac then moves in and goes for a haymaker, but Davis ducks underneath it, puts his arms up onto Issac's shoulders, swings his legs up and around, kneeing Entragian in the jaw, dropping him down to his knees with the move. Bryan Harris: Damn, you almost forget how athletic a guy like Adam Davis is, and then he pulls out a move like that and reminds you! Alan Ducard: He's certainly standing his ground against Issac Entragian, who has been involved in the match since the beginning. Not deterred by his pinfall attempt being thwarted by Adam Davis, Greyson Blade takes John by the head and lifts him back up off the mat and yells at him. Before The Outlaw can do anything, Adam Davis kicks Blade in the back of the knee, dropping him down to one knee, and then Iceman takes him by the back of the head and bulldogs him down to the mat. As Adam Davis gets up off the mat, Herb Moxley rushes in and starts connecting with rapid-fire slaps and punches and forearms, backing Davis into the corner. Once there, Moxley starts connecting with an equally rapid series of kicks to the gut, exciting the fans all over the arena. Shaking off some of the effects of the bulldog, Greyson takes John Thomas by the arm, gets him up off the mat and sends him into the far corner with an irish whip. The camera then switches over to the entrance stage and LEGACY Vision jumbotron as the horn sounds the next entry.
Stepping through the curtain, Osamu Hayashi is wearing his typical ring gear, but also he's wearing a shirt which is a combination between the Agents of Destiny signature shirt and the blue Team Sizzle shirt. Obviously he has a target, and so he sprints across the entrance walkway, and when he gets closer to the ring, he leaps up, springboards off the top rope and flies across the ring, drilling Greyson Blade in the back of his shoulder with a missile dropkick. Bryan Harris: Look at that, Osamu Hayashi doing EXACTLY what he said he would be doing from MOMENT 1, helping out the cause and keeping Greyson Blade off of John Thomas! You still want to question the selection of him to Team Sizzle? Jimmy Yates: Uh, yeah. Getting up from his knee, John Thomas smiles and pats Osamu Hayashi on the shoulder, then admires the cross-over shirt. Hayashi acknowledges JT's compliment, then takes the shirt off and tosses it over the top rope to the outside, and the duo then start in, stomping down onto Greyson Blade. Not pleased with what he sees, Herb Moxley moves in and grabs Osamu Hayashi by both of his shoulders from behind and leaps backwards, slamming Hayashi's back down onto the mat in a sit-out modified X-Factor. John Thomas notices Moxley getting the advantage on his partner, but instead of getting too involved, he drops to the mat and heads out of the ring under the bottom rope. Alan Ducard: It appears that despite the good natured assistance provided by Osamu Hayashi when John needed it, young Mr Thomas is not going to repay the favor now that Osamu is in need. Bryan Harris: Oh get off it, Al. Hayasashi just got to the ring, he can fight his own battles for a little bit. John, on the other hand, has been in the ring for 8 minutes now, and he's been the target of just about everybody in there the entire time, so he deserves a little rest. In the far corner, Issac Entragian and Del Carver have once again paired up. His back against the turnbuckles, Del Carver is being choked with the bottom of Issac's boot, his leg extended fully while he holds the ropes with his arms, pressing forward. Reaching up, Diamond Del uses his hands to push The Ivory Terror's leg back a bit, and then he finally is able to push Issac's leg over the top rope, putting Issac into a very uncomfortable position. With his back to Carver, Entragian tries to get his leg back up over the top rope, but he's unable to, as Del moves in and drills him with a forearm smash to the back of the head. Swinging his arm around, Issac connects with a backfist which catches Carver in the temple, slowing his attack to a halt. Jimmy Yates: A shot to the temple like that would make it hard for anyone to see, let alone a guy who's having to look through just one eye as it is! Bryan Harris: You can bet that Issac Entragian had that very same thought in mind when he did it, too! Alan Ducard: Regardless, now both of them have slowed their offenses trying to find time to recover, and speaking of time, it's nearly time for the ninth competitor to enter the match, here at the ninth minute into this contest. The footage switches over to a shot of the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, which counts down the final eight seconds until the horn sounds, and then a dark, eerie sounding music begins to play as the jumbotron shows its ninth logo of the match.
Jimmy Yates: Now The Kindred gets an opportunity to start double-teaming opponents along with Team Jester, Team Sizzle, and Team Outlaw. Alan Ducard: The only team who is yet to get a second member in the ring to this point is the team assembled by Marcus Marion, and some might see that as a disadvantage, but others may view it to be an advantage yet to come, as their advantage - if and when it comes, will be when all the other competitors have been further worn down. Bryan Harris: Not to mention the fact that Marcus Marion is the only team captain still yet to enter the match, so it's not even like a case where the captain is out there without his supporting cast, which would be totally different. Now Marion can come out when his number is drawn and his team doesn't have to worry about him getting eliminated. Jimmy Yates: I know Cronos Diamante is coming to the ring now, and I don't want to ignore him, but this just makes me almost have to wonder... is it possible that somehow Marcus Marion rigged the drawing so that it wasn't random, giving himself a later entry into the match? Alan Ducard: I don't suppose there's any way he could've done that. Immediately upon entering the ring, Cronos Diamante walks over to the corner where Issac Entragian and Del Carver are, and he immediately sends a side thrust kick into Carver's gut. Locking eyes with Entragian, Cronos nods in Del's direction, and Issac signals, letting Cronos know it's okay with him. Grabbing Diamond Del around the waist, Diamante takes a step back and sends DDC into the middle of the ring with a spinning belly to belly suplex. Bryan Harris: That's teamwork right there. Cronos made sure it was acceptable to his team captain that he take over in attacking Del Carver, and maybe, just maybe, Diamante is starting to respect Issac. Jimmy Yates: I think he was mainly trying to ensure that crazy Issac wasn't going to boot him in the skull by infringing on his turf. It's been obvious the past couple months that Issac and Carver want to get at each other's throats, and sometimes guys get territorial about that sort of thing. On the other side of the ring, Herb Moxley hoists Osamu Hayashi up onto the top rope into a seated position, then backs in and puts Hayashi's legs over his shoulder, into the electric chair position. Taking a couple steps out of the corner, Moxley then moves back into the corner, puts one foot onto the bottom turnbuckle, steps up and falls backwards, sending Osamu crashing down to the mat from easily eight feet in the air. Before Moxley can even get himself up off the mat, John Thomas grabs him by the leg underneath the bottom rope and pulls him to the outside, Herb coming crashing down to the arena floor. Bryan Harris: ANOTHER fine example of team work! Jimmy Yates: Yeah, but maybe he could've stepped in a little sooner if he really cared about Osamu's chances at success in this match... you know, maybe BEFORE Moxley connected with the Electric Chair Drop?! Across the ring, Adam Davis is getting to his feet and walking from one corner to the other when suddenly Jester Smiles comes charging in and clotheslines The Iceman over the top rope and they go crashing to the outside on the opposite side of the ring from where John Thomas has pulled Moxley to the floor. The footage then switches to the view of the entrance stage and LEGACY Vision jumbotron. The countdown timer is clicking down in the bottom corner, while the rest of the screen shows the different battles going on inside the ring and around it on the outside. Once the buzzer sounds, the entire stage lights up in a pale golden hue, and the jumbotron shows the logo of the next entrant.
Wearing sunglasses, his hair spiked up, the collar of his blonde-colored polo shirt flipped up, Marcus Marion walks onto the entrance stage, an arrogant smirk on his face. After pausing at the edge of the stage for a moment, looking out on the booing fans, he swaggers along the entrance walkway, headed for the ring. Jimmy Yates: Speak of the devil... Bryan Harris: The Devil? Please, Marcus Marion is WAY more stylish! When he gets to the end of the walkway, he takes off his glasses, then his polo, wraps the glasses up in the polo and tosses it all the way across the ring, landing it perfectly on the time keeper's table before hopping down to the arena floor. Alan Ducard: Marcus Marion clearly choosing not to enter the ring right away, and he seems to be headed right for Jester Smiles and Adam Davis. Bryan Harris: This isn't going to end well for LEGACY's newest clown. Jimmy Yates: Newest?! As far as I know, he's the ONLY clown on the roster. Bryan Harris: There are all different types of clowns, Yates. Yourself, for example. Just because you don't show up to do your job in facepaint and a big red nose, doesn't make you any less of a clown. Walking up behind Jester Smiles, Marcus Marion reaches around and grabs at Jester's eyes, raking both of them at the same time. Slipping his arm across Jester's chest, Marion slams his back against the edge of the ring apron. Bending his leg at the knee, Marcus Marion lifts Smiles up off the ground and uses a knee-breaker to soften up Jester's leg. Adam Davis then connects with a kick to the back of Jester's leg, dropping him down to one knee. Alan Ducard: Good teamwork shown by Marcus Marion and Adam Davis... and initially I had my reservations about whether Marion and Davis were going to work together... Bryan Harris: I bet this is clearing that up! Inside the ring, Del Carver is sitting up after having been suplexed by Cronos, and Diamante then spins and connects with a low roundhouse kick, catching Del in the back. Planting his foot, Cronos tries for a second roundhouse kick, but Diamond Del sees this one coming and blocks it, then gets his leg underneath himself and dives forward, twisting Diamante's leg in the process and taking him down to the mat. Jimmy Yates: Nice dragon screw legwhip by Carver, and if he hadn't been able to do that, he could've been in a world of hurt right now. When Cronos gets up off the mat and tries to move back in on Del Carver, Greyson Blade cuts him off, drilling him with a double axhandle smash. Taking Cronos by the shoulder, The Outlaw lifts him up off the mat, then whips him backfirst into the nearby corner. Greyson sends a boot ton Cronos' midsection, then moves out of the way as Carver rushes in and lands a back elbow smash to the side of Diamante's face. On the opposite side of the ring from where Marion, Iceman, and Jester Smiles are, John Thomas is holding onto Moxley's wrist in a standing armbar. Herb gets up from the ground, and JT yanks down hard, trying to pull the shoulder out of joint. With his other arm, Moxley grabs John by the arm, pulls, and sends Thomas back-first into the steel guardrail. On the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, the countdown timer reaches zero, and after the buzzer sounds, we hear the familiar beginning to "The Key To Gramercy Park" by Deadsy start to play. The branded image then replaces the broadcast feed on the jumbotron.
J-Mo emerges from behind the curtain, jumping place, wearing a black and green Civil-War style jacket (a la Bret Hart) with a pair of sunglasses and a Monster Energy Drink baseball cap. "I got the Key, Key to Gramercy Park..." As the music kicks into high gear, J-Mo takes off in a mad dash for the ring, tossing his sunglasses and jacket off into the crowd quickly and follows the same path Marcus Marion took, hopping off the apron, headed right for the former World Champ. Grabbing Marion by the hair, Justin Moreno pulls The Blonde away from Jester Smiles and shoves him down to the arena floor, then dives in on him and starts throwing forearms in at his face. When Marcus Marion starts to cover up, Justin Moreno gets to his feet and begins stomping down onto Marion. While Moreno tries to continue to work over Marion, "Iceman" Adam Davis comes up from behind and starts laying into his back with repeated forearm shots. When Justin turns around to try to face his assailant, Davis takes him down with an armdrag. J-Mo tries to fight to get back to his feet, but Adam holds onto the armbar, putting his knee in the back of Justin's shoulder, holding him on the arena floor. Getting up off the ground, Marion shakes some of the cobwebs and seems impressed when he sees how The Iceman has taken control of Moreno. Stepping in front of J-Mo, Marcus chuckles at Justin's position, and then kicks him in the chest. After absorbing the blow, Moreno plants one of his feet and kicks upwards with his other one, catching Marion in the breadbasket, doubling him over. Jimmy Yates: Probably not a good decision by Marion to make that kick, huh? Alan Ducard: I'd say at the moment, he's at least regretting the fact that he didn't move away sooner. On the other side of the ring, John Thomas gets up from the arena floor and rubs his shoulder, which had collided with the guardrail minutes ago. Spotting John getting up, Herb Moxley ends his resting session and moves in on JT. As Moxley tries to lock up with John, he gets caught in the jaw with a European Uppercut that spins him around. Charging forward, John pushes Herb shoulder-first into the corner ringpost. Jimmy Yates: Every chance he gets, John Thomas is ALWAYS targeting people's shoulders! You almost have to wonder if that fixation is keeping him from maintaining a winning streak. I think guys could wrestle with a hurt shoulder, but if John would focus on the back or leg from time to time, he might do better. Bryan Harris: The tough competition John Thomas challenges himself with on a regular basis is the reason he hasn't had a huge winning streak... but one of these days, mark my words, all of this quality experience JT is getting will pay off! Inside the ring, Greyson Blade and Del Carver work together and lift Issac Entragian up off the mat. As they do, Entragian fires in with a Kung Fu style finger-strike to the throat of The Outlaw, dropping him down to a knee while he tries to catch his breath. Carver returns the favor with a punch to the gut, doubling the Ivory Terror over. When Gryffin gets back to his feet, he joins Del in grabbing Issac around the neck and by the waistband, and then they hoist him up into the air for a stalling vertical suplex. While Greyson and Carver have Issac held up in the air, John Thomas spots the opportunity from outside the ring and slides in under the bottom rope, diving forward and driving his shoulder into the back of Greyson Blade's knee, causing it to buckle, sending him down to the mat. Del Carver tries to maintain control of Entragian, but both of them end up crashing down to the mat. Bryan Harris: How about that, Jimbo? A move by John Thomas that DIDN'T target anyone's shoulder! Jimmy Yates: Shut up... Returning to his feet, John Thomas begins stomping down onto Greyson Blade's leg, and then he measures him up and leaps forwards, driving his knee into Blade's shoulder. As John gets back up, however, Marcus Marion returns to the ring, charges over and grabs John by the back of the head and rushes him to the corner where he slams Thomas' head into the top turnbuckle. Alan Ducard: Will wonders never cease... Marcus Marion actually helping out Greyson Blade... Bryan Harris: It's not like they're pulling a double-team or anything. After slapping John Thomas on the back of the head, Marion grabs him and slams him head first into the top turnbuckle a second time, but shortly thereafter Osamu Hayashi leaps in and drives both of his knees into Marion's back, causing him to slip past John and crash into the turnbuckles himself. Once he gives Osamu a "thank you" pat on the shoulder, John Thomas again drops to the mat and rolls back out of the ring. Jimmy Yates: Retreating again is John Thomas, leaving Osamu to do his dirty work for him. Bryan Harris: JT knows how badly Osamu wants to prove himself, he's just giving Hayashi the chance to show what he's got to offer against some of the best in LEGACY... only YOU, Yates, could turn THAT into a negative! Jimmy Yates: OK, Spin Doctor. Grabbing Marcus Marion by the leg, Osamu proceeds to entangle Marion's leg in the ropes, first putting it over the middle rope, then pulling Marcus' foot back inside, hooking it on the bottom rope. Backing up a few steps, Hayashi keeps his eyes on Marion, looking to charge back in. Before he can move back towards the corner, Osamu is grabbed by the back of his hair, pulled back into an upside-down position staring up at the lights, and Greyson Blade lifts him up off the mat and throws him backwards with an inverted vertical suplex. Keeping his attention on the corner, The Outlaw gets to his feet and charges in, driving his shoulder into Marcus Marion, which dislodges him from the ropes and drops him to the mat. When Greyson tries to reach down for Marion, though, Marcus rolls out to the arena floor and limps away. Bryan Harris: Yeah, I figured that was a very short-lived "teamwork" thing going on. Alan Ducard: It's obvious that Greyson Blade is getting increasingly frustrated, and he's going to take his anger out on someone... and I think that "someone" is going to be Osamu Hayashi! Jimmy Yates: Well if Greyson's frustration is coming from John Thomas, then Osamu Hayashi is a good one to target! As Hayashi works his way up off the mat, Blade takes him by the wrist and sends him across the ring. On the return, The Outlaw charges forward and dives, absolutely CRUSHING Osamu and sending him down to the mat with a KILLSHOT that rocks the ring, sending the crowd into an immediate chorus of cheers! Alan Ducard: Osamu Hayashi nearly speared out of his boots, and Blade going for the cover... ONE..! TWO..!! THREE!!!
Alan Ducard: Now 13 minutes in, we have our first elimination, and it's Osamu Hayashi from Team Sizzle, leaving only Gryffin Anselm and John Thomas still legal from that team. Jimmy Yates: He could still get the victory, but it's going to be a lot harder now that Hayashi is gone, as Osamu was a lot more helpful than I thought he was going to be. After taking a moment's break, Del Carver picks Issac Entragian up off the mat and is met with a haymaker connecting to his jaw just under his ear. Fighting through the pain, Carver slams his forearm into Issac's ribs, then sends him chest-first into the corner with an irish whip. Having spotted the man he initially wanted to target, The Outlaw exits the ring, lines himself up and waits for John Thomas to turn around. The moment he can see the whites of John's eyes, he charges in and goes for a KILLSHOT, but at the last moment, John musters enough energy to leapfrog the attempt. Stopping his momentum, Greyson turns back around to go after John again, but Thomas dives in with a shoulder block, sending Blade shoulder-first into the steel guardrail. With Greyson getting back up, John holds onto the guardrail, leaps up and stomps down on Blade's shoulder, sending him right back down to the arena floor. Grabbing the guardrail again, Thomas again uses it to steady himself as he leaps up and stomps down onto Greyson's shoulder. Making sure he's good and softened up, JT helps The Outlaw up off the arena floor and immediately puts him into a standing armbar. Keeping his distance while maintaining grasp on Blade's wrist, John hops up onto the apron, gets his feet underneath him and then leaps off, driving his knee into the back of Greyson's shoulder and riding him down to the arena floor, sending Blade down face first. Bryan Harris: Modified New School from the apron - gotta love it!! Alan Ducard: Now it's John Thomas who is stalking Greyson Blade on the outside, the roles reversed from a couple minutes ago! When The Outlaw gets back to his feet, John Thomas quickly moves in behind him, interlocks his arms and pulls back into the crossface chicken wing! Blade flails, trying to grab a hold onto JT, but John blocks it by putting his foot on the bottom of the steel guardrail and then pushing off, driving forward and knocking Blade's shoulder into the corner ringpost while maintaining hold of the crossface. The two fall to the arena floor, where John still holds onto the submission move. Jimmy Yates: There's assistant referee for the match Travis Rollins, and he's checking for the submission! Bryan Harris: GET IN THERE!!! ASK HIM!! As Travis Rollins checks to see if Greyson Blade wants to submit, The Outlaw tells him to go away, wanting to struggle through it and suffer the pain while trying to break free. Alan Ducard: I can appreciate that Greyson Blade badly wants another shot at the World Championship, but this may be a fools errand to stay locked in that hold, as John's got it pretty well locked in there on the arena floor. The broadcast footage again switches over to a shot of the LEGACY Vision and entrance stage, where we see the countdown timer tick the final three seconds off before the buzzer again signals the next entrant, whose logo appears on the jumbotron.
Stepping through the curtain, James Win is completely decked out in gold - from his sunglasses to his warm-up track suit. Getting to the edge of the entrance stage, he stands motionless, looking at the chaos at ringside and also looking around at the crowd. Bryan Harris: There you go! The team that Marcus Marion picked out is now all present and accounted for! Alan Ducard: As it seems like James may take his time to get to the ring, let's get back to looking at the action in and around the ring. John Thomas still has that chicken wing submission locked in tight on Greyson Blade on the outside... Jimmy Yates: Here comes Del Carver, who could have something to say about it! Getting to the floor, Del Carver stomps down into the ribs of John Thomas forcing him to let go of the hold. Picking JT up off the ground, Diamond Del tosses the captain of Team Sizzle away with a snap mare, then tends to Greyson, helping ensure no one else comes in on the attack. Inside the ring, Marcus Marion spots James Win coming slowly across the entrance walkway, and Marion then notices that Issac Entragian isn't noticing him, so he quickly moves in, drops to his knees and hits a low blow on Issac that drops the Albino Abomination to his knees. When Marion tries to grab onto Issac to inflict further damage, Entragian fights back, shoving him away. Adam Davis sees what's going on and moves in, sending a dropkick to the side of Issac's leg, keeping him from fully getting up off the mat. The Iceman and Marion then stand over Issac and begin hitting him with forearms, but a moment later, Cronos Diamante steps in, grabs Adam Davis by the arm and spins him around. After a forearm to the face and a knee to the gut, Diamante sends The Iceman into a nearby corner with an irish whip, then follows him in with a leaping knee that catches Davis in the chest. Having hopped up onto the middle turnbuckle anyway, Cronos remains there and starts raining in with punches to Adams' head. Alan Ducard: Cronos Diamante showing some fire, and if he can maintain the offensive, this could be tough for Adam Davis. Jimmy Yates: It looks like Jester Smiles is going to get involved in that... wait a minute, he was just looking for momentum by rebounding off the nearby ropes... where's he going?! Sprinting across the ring, Jester Smiles leaps up over the ropes, flipping himself over, coming crashing down onto Del Carver, putting him on the arena floor next to where Greyson Blade is kneeling. Popping up, Jester Smiles hits a quick standing low dropkick to Carver's arm. When Jester looks to get up again, he finds Greyson Blade getting to his feet, ready to strike, so he rolls backwards, buying himself some space. Just now entering the ring, "All Star" James Win moves in on Cronos Diamante, rapidly hitting him in the back in the corner. After saying something to Adam Davis, James Win takes Cronos by the wrist and sends him into the far ropes. On the return, Cronos gets taken down with a drop toe hold by Win, setting up nicely as Adam Davis then drops a falling elbow into the middle of Diamante's back. Bryan Harris: I know they could each have great singles careers here in LEGACY, but I think "The Iceman" and "The All Star" would make a great tag team. Jimmy Yates: Those two teaming together for any significant period of time would never work out. Taking Cronos by the head, James Win lifts Diamante up off the mat, but before he can do anything, Adam Davis shoves "The All Star" away and then drives two forearm shots in on Cronos' chest. Jimmy Yates: See, exactly my point. Without the aid of any of his teammates, Marcus Marion drills a double-axhandle smash onto Issac, keeping him from fully returning to his feet. Spotting another opportunity to help, James Win rushes in and gets behind Issac, putting him into a full nelson and helping him get partially up to his feet before kicking the back of his left knee, dropping the Albino Abomination down to his knees. Alan Ducard: A tad easier to handle from there, I'd suppose. Seeing his teammate holding Issac prone, Marion sends a kick to Issac's chest, then smacks him across the face. Telling James to let go, Marion takes Issac by the head and sends him completely down to the mat with a DDT. Bryan Harris: Smart work by James Win and Marcus Marion, not letting Issac get back in the match. Alan Ducard: Well Justin Moreno and Cronos Diamante are otherwise occupied at the moment, otherwise you might think they'd have something to say about all this. And now the countdown clock is ticking down... it's about to be the time for our 13th participant. Let's see how unlucky it might be for some of the competitors already in the match. When the buzzer is done sounding, "Still Fly" by The Devil Wears Prada begins to play, and the crowd is silent, watching to see who might be entering next. When the logo hits the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, a huge portion of the crowd pops.
Alan Ducard: And now we know who Jester Smiles' "mystery partner" is, and now that we know, it makes total sense. Jimmy Yates: They definitely worked together for a while back in SHOOT, and I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to see Cade Sydal in LEGACY again! His first run - most of it under the Strong Style Dragon mask, was phenomenal! Standing on the entrance stage is Cade Sydal, looking a bit different than how he appeared during his last tenture with LEGACY. He's decked out in purple board shorts with green dragons on the legs, purple knee pads and green kickpads with purple dragons on them. His typically blonde hair is done up into a 3-inch 90's style mohawk which is dyed in alternating purple and green stripes to match the Team Jester colors. He's sporting lots of tattoos now, and has a couple piercings in his lips. Bryan Harris: Is it just me, or does Cade look a little different these days? Alan Ducard: He might've had a change of fashion sensabilities, but I'm sure it won't affect his ability in the ring, especially considering that Jester Smiles brought him here! After he milks the reaction for a moment, he tears off his Team Jester tshirt and throws it into the crowd, then runs across the elevated walkway where most of the competitors watching on are anticipating his arrival. Spotting an opportunity, Sydal leaps up onto the top rope to go for a springboard maneuver. The All Star will come to reach for him to cut him off just as he attempts to springboard from the middle of the top rope, and Cade springs right over him and catches Adam Davis with a spinning wheel kick. Immediately getting back to his feet, Cade turns to see James Win running at him with a swinging clothesline, and Sydal spots the move just in time to duck under it. The All Star stops his momentum and turns around right into the Pelle Kick from Sydal! Springing back up, Cade gets drilled across the shoulder from a clubbing blow courtesy of Marcus Marion, who rans in at him from a nearby corner. Taking Sydal by the wrist, Marion whips the newest entry into the ropes, steps forward and ducks for a back body drop, but Cade spots it in time and turns and backflips through it. Cronos catches Cade from behind with a waistlock, attempts a German suplex, but Cade backflips through that. Cronos turns with Marion, Cade runs at them both and leaps into the air with a double-dropsault. Hearing the fans cheering, Cade stops and pumps his fist, acknowledging their reaction, but he's quickly clotheslined down to the mat by Issac Entragian, who had just returned to his feet. Bryan Harris: Welcome back to LEGACY, Cade! I hope someone told you about Issac Entragian, because I don't think you faced him your last time around, and he's kind of a big deal around here now! Shaking off the cobwebs from the Pelle Kick from Sydal, James Win returns to his feet and turns just in time to get taken off his feet by a leg lariat from Justin Moreno. Taking The All Star by the wrist, J-Mo picks him back up to his feet and then tries to go for an irish whip, but James Win shuffles his feet and instead sending Moreno into a nearby corner. Hopping up onto the middle turnbuckle, J-Mo plants one foot onto the top turnbuckle and spins around, flies towards The All Star, locking his legs around James' neck and spinning around into a headscissors takedown. Having returned to the far corner of the ring a minute or so earlier amidst all the chaos, Herb Moxley says something to Justin Moreno, who nods and then heads for the corner, exiting out onto the apron. Grabbing James Win by the head, Herb pulls The All Star into a seated position, holds up his hand as if he were Spock from Star Trek, says "Live Long and Prosper", and then locks on the Vulcan Neck Pinch, obviously causing James Win a serious amount of pain. Seeing this, Justin Moreno ascends the turnbuckles and gets to the top rope. Not wasting any time, J-Mo leaps off the top rope into a corkscrew spinning heel kick directly to the jaw of James Win, with Herb Moxley letting go and dodging aside just in time. Jimmy Yates: Now we're seeing some cross-team co-operation! Alan Ducard: Anything to accomplish the task, I believe, and Justin Moreno is more similar to Herb Moxley than he is with either of the other two members of his team - Cronos Diamante or team captain Issac Entragian, so the co-operation doesn't surprise me! Bryan Harris: Well it's not exactly in the spirit of the match! Alan Ducard: You don't only have to help your team, Bryan. It's all about putting yourself into the best position to be victorious, and we're about to get the penultimate entry into this match. Jimmy Yates: Gryffin Anselm and Az DeMitri are the only two men still yet to appear, so it's gotta be one of those two. The broadcast switches to the view of the entrance stage, and as the buzzer hits as the clock runs out, the fans wait and watch, and they pop as they see the purple logo appear on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron.
When Azraith DeMitri steps out onto the entrance stage with a Team Outlaw shirt on, the pop gets a bit louder, and he gets a little smile on his face, lasting very briefly. He doesn't wait on the stage too long, heading for the ring. Alan Ducard: Entering the match this late in the game is a huge advantage for Az DeMitri, who certainly has the tools to ascend through the ranks of LEGACY rather quickly, and I wouldn't be too surprised if he comes out of this match with a victory tonight. Bryan Harris: Sure, some of the guys in the ring are a little worn down already, but don't forget, Gryffin Anselm is still waiting in the wings, and if enough people gang up against Az to level the playing field, it won't have to be Gryffin who cuts him down to size. Previously on the outside of the ring, Greyson Blade gets back up onto the apron and gets in through the ropes as he watches Azraith head to the ring. Outside the ring, Del Carver goes over near the entrance walkway and calls for Az DeMitri to join him outside the ring. Looking at the scene inside the ring, Az then looks to the outside, where Carver points over to John Thomas, who appears to be hiding and recovering over near the far side of the ring. Hopping off the apron, Azraith decides to follow Carver. Exiting out onto the apron, Justin Moreno watches and waits for James Win to get up off the mat, as he's already up to one knee. The moment All Star gets to his feet, J-Mo hops up onto the top rope and springboards towards Win, grabbing him, spinning around and dropping him to the mat with a modified flying, spinning flatliner style move. Spinning over, Moreno hooks the leg, prompting Ross Quattro to slide into the ring to make the count. ONE..! TWO..!! THREE!!!
Outside the ring, Del Carver tries to grab John Thomas, but he rips his arm away, and DeMitri rushes after him, quickly catching up to John, who has already been in the match for nearly 17 minutes. Del says something to him, and Azraith brings John closer to him. The moment DeMitri lets go of John, Del Carver quickly meets Azraith with a kick to the gut, spins him around, puts one hand into a half nelson, grabbing him into a waistlock with the other hand, lifts up and quickly falls backwards, dropping DeMitri right on his head in the process. Jimmy Yates: What... what's Carver doing?! Bryan Harris: The Diamond Death Drop, that's what! Alan Ducard: I don't understand, I thought Team Outlaw was all on the same page?! Bryan Harris: Apparently not Carver! With a pleased look on his face, Del Carver backs away from DeMitri and signals to John Thomas, who looks equally as shocked. When Diamond Del gets the attention of Travis Rollins, John Thomas drops to the ground and covers Azraith, hooking both legs deeply into the pinfall situation. ONE... Jimmy Yates: I can't believe this... TWO... Bryan Harris: Believe it! THREE.
Alan Ducard: His stay in this match only lasts 39 seconds, and you have to think that this is a huge offense by Del Carver, who clearly has something against Azraith DeMitri. If this were just a minor disagreement, Del Carver would be foolish to give up a possible opportunity at becoming Number One Contender because of it. Jimmy Yates: Some of the other guys in the match have realized what just happened, and I'd say they're as stunned as we are! Laughing, Carver gets up onto the apron, but before he can get into the ring, he's met by Cade Sydal, who rushes over, leaps up and connects with an unassisted enzuigiri out of nowhere, knocking Carver out cold and dropping him off the apron. Jimmy Yates: NINJAGIRI!! Bryan Harris: And John Thomas walks right into a second elimination!! Chuckling at his good fortune, JT drops to the arena floor and hooks Carver's legs, with Travis Rollins right there to make the count. The fans who were stunned a moment ago have now started booing. ONE... TWO... THREE.
Highly proud of himself, John Thomas gets to his feet and puts his hands in the air as if to signal victory. Jimmy Yates: I can't believe he's actually going to claim credit for either of those pinfalls. He didn't do anything to actually eliminate those guys! Bryan Harris: Regardless of what John did or didn't do, he now had a hand in eliminating two-thirds of Team Outlaw, and in about five seconds, the horn's gonna sound and... *horn sounds* Oh... here comes our last entry, Gryffin Anselm.
The booing from the crowd which started as it became evident that something foul was afoot increases as Gryffin Anselm walks out from the back. He doesn't worry about it, however, as Gryffin is more preoccupied with James Win, who was on his way to the entrance stage to head to the locker room due to his elimination, and finds himself ten feet away from Anselm. Jimmy Yates: Right about now, I'd really like to see those two lock it up, throw down, beat the hell out of each other right on the entrance stage. Alan Ducard: I'm not sure if James Win wants any part of that, and... wait, go to ringside! Having climbed back up onto the apron, John Thomas was about to get back into the ring, but Adam Davis exited the ring between his legs using a baseball slide, and in the process grabbed John by the ankle. Putting his feet firmly on the arena floor, The Iceman reaches up, pulls JT off the apron right into the fireman's carry position, then whips him around and drops him with a falling neckbreaker. Jimmy Yates: Cold Shoulder! JT is getting what he deserves!! Alan Ducard: Adam Davis goes for the pinfall, and Travis Rollins is there to make the count! ONE..! TWO..!! THREE!!!
Jimmy Yates: These fans are loving it!! Alan Ducard: On any other day, LEGACY fans might not be fans of Adam Davis, but in his hometown, especially after what John Thomas was just a part of with Del Carver? He's getting applauded. Jimmy Yates: Oh wait, don't forget about the captain's rule... Gryffin Anselm is eliminated too!!
Alan Ducard: I don't think Gryffin realizes he's been eliminated! Passing by James Win, content to let that situation continue to sit, Gryffin makes his way across the entrance ramp, headed for the ring. Travis Rollins sees Gryffin coming, and he hops up onto the walkway and starts waving him off. Obviously Gryffin is confused, but when Rollins points out the replay of John Thomas getting eliminated as it's shown on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, it all becomes clear to Anselm. Jimmy Yates: I'd say he understands it now. Becoming increasingly frustrated with both of his partners being eliminated and having seen the replay of Del Carver's attack on Azraith DeMitri on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, The Outlaw appears to want to get his hands on someone. Turning around, he's met by Cade Sydal, who immediately kicks him in the thigh, then without even planting his foot, flips completely over and sends a kick to the front of Greyson's shoulder, the pain dropping him to one knee. With Blade in a prone position, Sydal moves in and starts hammering in on him with forearm shots. Getting both of his hands on Cade's neck, Greyson absorbs the attack, stands up and hoists Sydal up off the mat and throws him overhead in something of a modified belly-to-belly suplex. Instead of continuing in on the attack, a wincing Greyson Blade heads to an empty corner, holding his shoulder. Jimmy Yates: Greyson Blade in a lot of pain from being locked for so long in that Crossface Chicken Wing. Bryan Harris: Damn right he is! JT'izzle might have an effect on Team Outlaw even after he's been eliminated! Pulling himself up off the mat, Herb Moxley dusts himself off and turns around to look for another situation to be involved in. Finding himself face to face (or more accurately, "face to chest") with Issac Entragian, Moxley's eyes open as wide as possible, and he throws a forearm shot to the Albino Abomination's chest. That one not rocking Issac back hard enough, Herb throws a few more, none of which do the trick. Taking Moxley by the wrist, Issac shoots him off into the ropes. On the return, Issac goes for a bicycle kick, but Herb deftly ducks underneath it with a slide across the mat, and he grabs Issac's ankle as he passes by him, tripping him up in the process and bringing him down to a knee. Sensing an opportunity, Moxley scurries out of the ring and heads to the top turnbuckle as quickly as he can, but before he can leap off into a move, Herb's plan is thwarted, as Issac moves in and throws a shoulder into Moxley's leg, dropping him outside to the arena floor. On the other side of the ring, Adam Davis has been taking a moment to rest up outside after having eliminated John Thomas, but before he can get back up onto the apron, he spots Cronos Diamante coming around the side of the ring, headed in his direction. Passing right by Herb Moxley, Cronos charges in on Davis, who prepares himself the best he can. After absorbing the first forearm shot, Adam ducks underneath an attempted lock-up and slams his knee into the small of Cronos' back. Diamante spins around with a backfist attempt, but Adam ducks underneath that as well, connecting with an upper-cut style forearm to Cronos' gut. At first it looks like it doubled Diamante over, but winded as he might be, Cronos grabs Adam Davis by the head and drives his knee upwards into The Iceman's chest. Jimmy Yates: That'll slow Adam down a bit... Alan Ducard: Cronos connecting with a second knee-lift... then a third... wait, here comes Moxley! Moving in as fast as he can, Herb leaps up and clotheslines Cronos down to the arena floor, and Adam Davis falls down next to them. Inside the ring, Justin Moreno gets whipped into the corner by Marcus Marion, who rushes in after him, only to get caught with a boot to the face by J-Mo. Hopping his feet up onto the second rope, Justin quickly gets to the top turnbuckle, then leaps off into a shooting star press, crashing down on Marcus Marion, hooking the leg immediately for a pinfall attempt. Ross Quattro is nearby and counts... ONE...! TWO...!! NO!!! Marion shoulders out!! Bryan Harris: Close... but NO cigar! As much as Moron-o wants to eliminate Marcus Marion, it's going to take a little more than that to get rid of a former two-time LEGACY World Champion! Alan Ducard: He wants a piece of some action, and I think he found a situation to be involved in. Seeing Cronos Diamante, Herb Moxley, and Adam Davis getting to their feet on the outside, Justin Moreno turns and runs into the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and on the return does a Corkscrew Plancha over the top rope, coming crashing down onto The Iceman and Herb Moxley, with Cronos Diamante moving out of the way just in time, having seen his fellow KINDRED teammate coming, getting a huge "OOOOOHHHH!!" reaction from the fans. Jimmy Yates: I don't know where Justin Moreno comes up with the energy reserves! Alan Ducard: That's a good question, but I'm certain that the issues he's experiencing with his family are part of his motivation to give it 110%... and with Cronos Diamante avoiding that plancha from Justin Moreno, now he's going to take advantage of the carnage. Hoisting Adam Davis up off the arena floor, Cronos Diamante lifts The Iceman up into a Torture Rack position, then taking a step to the side to get out of the way of Herb Moxley and DRIVES Davis' head down onto the arena floor with an inverted death valley driver. Bryan Harris: That's "Lucifer's Honor", a move we haven't seen from him in a while, and he's looking to end things right here! Travis Rollins moves in to count the pinfall attempt... ONE... TWO...! THREE!!
Alan Ducard: With the elimination of Adam Davis, that leaves only one member left from Marcus Marion's squad... one also from Team Outlaw, both represented by their team captains. Jimmy Yates: While Team Sizzle is completely eliminated, both Team Jester AND The KINDRED have all three members left in the ring. When Justin Moreno gets up onto the apron, he's met with a roundhouse kick to the gut from Cade Sydal, who spins in from a nearby corner. After a punch to the face of Moreno, Cade grabs Justin by the head and reaches over the top rope, holding onto Moreno's waistband, then lifts him up, trying for a vertical suplex. Reaching down, J-Mo grabs onto the middle rope, keeping himself from being lifted any further, and puts his feet back down onto the apron. With his other hand, Justin reaches over and grabs Cade by the waistband, then hooks his head in with the hand which had held onto the middle rope, and he lifts Cade up off the mat. The excitement level grows amongst the fans, wondering if they're about to see Sydal suplexed out of the ring, but instead, Justin tosses him forwards, sending him crashing down into the middle of the ring, landing flat on his face. Alan Ducard: That might've been a smart move by Moreno to not go for the vertical suplex to the outside... as he would've probably had to fall off the apron to complete the move, and there are various things which could've gone against his favor were that the case. As Cade Sydal starts to get to his feet, Justin Moreno leaps up to the top rope and springboards towards Cade, but with his feet underneath him, Sydal is able to spring up off the mat, throwing his feet into the air, catching J-Mo in the gut. When they both crash down onto the mat, Justin is holding his stomach, obviously in a lot of pain, and Cade somehow manages to reach over and hook the leg, going for the pinfall. Ross Quattro slides in and makes the count. ONE... TWO... THREE.
Issac Entragian gets there to break up the attempt a moment too late, as Quattro has already signaled the elimination. Furious that one of his team members has been eliminated, Issac drops to his knees and begins choking the life out of Cade with both hands. Only legal in No Limits matches, Ross Quattro begins to admonish Issac about the choking, and then he starts counting for a potential disqualification. ONE! TWO!! THREE!! FOUR!! When Ross hits "FOUR!!", not only does Issac let go of Cade, but a group of guys in the second row yell "QUATRO!!", as do some fans in an upper part of the arena. Having heard it at the pre-show, STRIFE 51, and now here, Ross looks out and laughs, acknowledging the fans. Bryan Harris: What is it with people and the whole "Quatro" thing?! Jimmy Yates: I dunno, Bryan, maybe they think it's funny? I kinda do... Bryan Harris: No shocker there. Meanwhile, Issac slams an elbow down into the face of Cade Sydal, and Cronos joins in on the action by kicking Cade in the ribs. Wanting to stop the double team on his teammate, Jester Smiles moves in and connects with a shuffle sidekick, which doesn't exactly hit its mark, but it does enough to back Cronos up into the far corner. Following up, Jester rushes in and hops up with both knees pulled in, slamming them into Cronos' chest. Getting up to the second rope, Jester Smiles begins slamming fists down into Diamante's forehead, the crowd counting along. After connecting with a ninth mounted punch, Jester Smiles arches back and then slams a headbutt directly to Cronos' forehead, and Diamante begins to slump down in the corner. Alan Ducard: Jester Smiles with a huge headbutt, and Cronos Diamante might be finished right there. Bryan Harris: I have heard that Jester Smiles is hard headed... but I heard the same thing about Cronos... Jimmy Yates: That might be a different context. Having once again been admonished for choking Cade Sydal, this time Issac doesn't even let the count reach four, releasing at a three count before lifting Sydal up off the mat. Standing him up on his feet, Issac begins with his Blizzard Cometh punching combination first a right body shot, followed quickly by a left jab to the face, right jab to the face, a left body shot, then a STRONG UPPERCUT to the jaw, knocking Cade right back down. Hooking Sydal around the midsection, Issac hoists him up onto his shoulder, pulling down for a Canadian Backbreaker. As Cade winces in pain, Issac moves in towards the corner, reaches out and puts his foot onto the middle turnbuckle and uses it to add some height to a jump, and he spins around and drops completely to his knees, causing Sydal's head to bounce, giving him a sense of whiplash. In a whipping motion, Issac flings Cade over and slams him down to the mat face-down, then rolls him over and goes for the pinfall. ONE... Alan Ducard: A devastating move Issac refers to as the "Spinal Doom". TWO... THREE.
The camera quickly switches over to show Jester Smiles picking Cronos Diamante up from the mat, placing him over his shoulders into a fireman's carry. Moving towards a different corner, all in one motion Jester Smiles flings Diamante up off his shoulders in front of him, leaps up off the mat, brings his knees up to his chest, and as he falls to the mat with Cronos coming down in front of him, Jester Smiles ensures that his knees dig into Diamante's side, one on the ribs, one below the ribs as he falls to the mat with a modified leaping gutbuster. Jimmy Yates: There's The Side Splitter!! The moment they hit the mat, Jester Smiles hooks the leg and rolls Cronos up into what appears to be a modified school-boy roll-up, and Travis Rollins makes the count. ONE... TWO... THREE!!
Alan Ducard: Issac Entragian attempted to stop that pinfall from taking place, but he was cut-off by Marcus Marion! Bryan Harris: Smart move by Marion, because he's got nothing to gain by allowing Issac to keep one of his team members as we move into the final five. Jimmy Yates: For those of you who keep up with some of the promotional videos taped by the LEGACY superstars, there were certainly some words traded back and forth between Marcus Marion and Issac Entragian. Alan Ducard: Well now that we're down to the final five, the "captain's rule" is no longer in effect... which only applies to Herb Moxley at the moment, as no other faction other than Team Jester has more than one entrant still in the ring. Having intercepted Issac's attempt to break up the pinfall situation between Jester Smiles and Cronos Diamante, Marcus Marion put The Ivory Terror on the mat with a immediately Issac, knocking him down with a clip to the knee, followed up by an elbow drop to the sternum. As Issac tries to get up off the mat, Marcus grabs him by the head and moves over to the ropes and attempts to dump Issac to the outside. Entragian falls to the apron, but doesn't fall to the arena floor, holding himself on the apron by the bottom rope. Getting up from making the pinfall, Jester Smiles moves in on Marcus Marion and drills him with a hard right hand that staggers Marion backwards. After a kick to the gut that doubles Marcus over, Jester grabs him by the head and connects with a snap suplex, dropping Marion into the middle of the ring. Returning to his feet, Jester spins around and falls forwards, sending a headbutt to Marcus' temple. Instead of getting up from the mat, Jester dives in and drives his knee right into the ribs, causing Marion to cough out violently. Before the assault can continue, Issac Entragian moves in and stomps down onto Jester's shoulders, right at the base of his neck, causing Smiles to collapse lifelessly onto Marcus. Bryan Harris: That'll do some damage! Jimmy Yates: Yeah, and now Jester's not in a good position... Whoa, Greyson Blade swoops back in! Not letting Issac do any more damage, Greyson Blade moves in and drives The Albino Abomination out of the way with a shoulder block. Grabbing Issac by the wrist, The Outlaw whips Entragian into the far corner, then charges in and drives his shoulder into Issac's gut. The impact takes its toll on both men, however, as Greyson's shoulder is still hurting from earlier in the match. Bryan Harris: Looks like somebody forgot that they were in the Chicken Wing for a while. Can't just rebound and heal up those wounds so quick, now can you, Blade?! Pushing Jester Smiles off of him, Marcus Marion gets to his knees and then dives forwards, sending a karate-style chop to the back of Jester's neck. Forcing himself up off the mat, Marion measures Smiles and then drops a standing elbow into the same spot at the base of the neck, then rolls his opponent over and hooks the leg, going for a pinfall. ONE... TWO... THREE.
Alan Ducard: We're now down to the final four competitors, and this is where each of them can just taste the World Title opportunity. Getting back into the action, Herb Moxley grabs Marcus Marion and helps him back to his feet, only to spin around and drill Marion on top of the head with a bionic elbow, causing Marcus to fall back to where he started, even before Jester Smiles is moved out of the ring. Taking Marion by the wrist, Moxley does his best to hoist his opponent up off the mat. Out of the corner of his eye, Herb spots someone rushing down the entrance walkway, and he turns to see Jen X making her way to ringside. He turns and waves to her, and she waves to him, obviously a little nervous. Bryan Harris: What's she doing out here?! Jimmy Yates: I'm sure whatever rule applied during the rest of the match is no longer in play. Bryan Harris: It's not safe for her out here... she should come sit on my lap! Turning his focus back to the action, Moxley sends Marion into the far corner with an irish whip, Marcus crashing chest first. When Herb follows in slowly to follow up, Marion waits until the right moment, then fires backwards with a kick that connects like a low blow on Moxley, dropping him down to a knee. Alan Ducard: Oh, that's really really unfortunate aim... Jimmy Yates: You mean "purposeful" aim, right? No way was that an accident. Bryan Harris: What're you kidding, Jimbo? Look at Marion, he's apologizing! Jimmy Yates: Not exactly contritely... Standing over a kneeling Moxley, Marcus Marion slides his hand into the waistband of his own pants, then pulls it out - now wearing a glove. Alan Ducard: Is it just me, or did Marcus Marion's knuckles just grow a bit in the past five seconds...? Jimmy Yates: You know they didn't... and for the second year in a row, I think we're gonna have brass knuckles affect the outcome of the Co-Op Challenge! Arching back, Marcus Marion looks to be about ready to hit Moxley with his gloved hand, but suddenly Greyson Blade steps in, hoists Marion up onto his shoulders, pivots, then dives backwards.... OUTLAW DROP!!! Alan Ducard: Marion's plans thwarted by Greyson Blade!! Bryan Harris: You don't know if that glove contained anything illegal or not! Pure speculation!! Greyson Blade doesn't get to his feet, simply rolling out of the ring under the bottom rope, wincing due to the increased pain in his shoulder. Moxley looks out at him, and Greyson signals that Moxley should go ahead and finish Marion off. Looking out at the fans, Moxley almost looks like he's asking them for permission, and if that's the case, their cheers are a resounding "YES!". Jimmy Yates: Get him, Mox-Man!! Exiting out onto the apron, Herb Moxley forces himself up the turnbuckles, getting to the top rope. Quickly measuring Marion, Herb takes a leap of faith and comes crashing down onto his target with a frog splash. As Moxley hooks the leg, the fans and Jen X are all filled with hope... ONE...!!! TWO...!!!! THREE!!!!!!!!
The roof nearly comes off the building as Ross Quattro signals that Marcus Marion has been eliminated. Doing a quick sprint around the ring, Herb collapses in the far corner, half laughing, half crying, with Jen X outside the ring nearby, congratulating him on the huge elimination. Bryan Harris: Talk about absurd. You'd think the guy just WON the match, but all he did was get one lousy elimination! Alan Ducard: Despite having held three of LEGACY's championships, it's safe to say that the moment you just witnessed is one of Herb's top five moments in his career, possibly his life, and I don't blame him for being so exci-... wait, what's John Thomas doing?! He's coming back to ringside?! Hopping off the entrance walkway before fully reaching the ring, John Thomas, who is still wearing his ring gear, reaches over the steel guardrail, shoves a middle-aged man out of his seet, then takes the steel folding chair. Weapon in hand, John Thomas slams the chair into Greyson Blade's shoulder, dropping him to the arena floor. Quickly setting up the chair, as not to be noticed by the referees, John Thomas grabs Greyson Blade by the wrist, pulls him back up to his feet, moves into position next to the chair, spins Greyson Blade around.... SICK FALLING NECKBREAKER ONTO THE CHAIR!! THE CHAIR GOES FLAT!! GREYSON BLADE IN A HEAP ON THE ARENA FLOOR!! Jimmy Yates: Oh come on... that's JUST NOT RIGHT!! The booing from the fans says it all, and Travis Rollins finally spots John Thomas and moves in, yelling at John, standing over Greyson Blade, who appears to be knocked out cold. Alan Ducard: An injustice has occurred, but at this point, I'm not sure if there's any recourse that can happen here tonight. John Thomas has already been eliminated, and the damage to Greyson Blade is done. Bryan Harris: YEP, and just like any good shark, Issac Entragian can smell the blood in the water, and now he's circling. Seeing Issac stepping over the top rope, John Thomas walks over and hops back up onto the entrance walkway just as Issac steps down to the arena floor. Assessing the damage, Issac Entragian drops to his knees, licks his lips with his forked tongue and then puts both palms down onto Greyson's chest, almost digging in. Rollins has no alternative but to count the pinfall. ONE... TWO... THREE.
Alan Ducard: There were no signs of life or fight from Greyson Blade during that pinfall attempt, and you can bet that when he gets up, the first thing on his mind is going to be to go look for John Thomas... Jimmy Yates: And you KNOW that John Thomas will be long gone by then! Bryan Harris: PLEASE, you two, can we PLEASE just get back to assessing the match at hand?! If you didn't notice, this is a VERY important match, and we're down to the FINAL TWO. Reaching up and grabbing onto the middle rope, Issac Entragian pulls himself back up onto the apron, then pushes down on the top rope enough to throw his leg over, then follow it with the other leg. Alan Ducard: The toll of being in this match from the very beginning is certainly weighing on The Ivory Terror... and it's showing right now. Bryan Harris: And how about Moxley? He's been sitting in that corner for a little while, you know he's not feeling at the top of his game, and even if he was, does anyone really think he could beat Issac?! Jimmy Yates: So long as Herb believes it, that's all that matters! After looking at Jen X one last time and clenching his fist in determination, Herb Moxley pulls himself up to his feet and stares across the ring at Issac, who is almost laughing to himself at this point. As Issac begins to circle, so does Herb, keeping his distance and measuring up his opponent. Bryan Harris: Run away, kid, and save yourself some pain! Suddenly Moxley digs in his heels and rushes in, slamming some fists to the chest and gut of Issac Entragian, the fans rallying behind every strike landed. Entragian is backed up and shows some signs of the strikes hurting, but with a huge sweeping forearm, he knocks Herb off his feet, sending him down to the mat. Alan Ducard: Issac's strength advantage still a huge factor here... Taking Herb by the arm, Issac pulls him up off the mat, takes a step backwards and sends Moxley chest first into the near corner. Herb falls to a knee as he stumbles backwards, but Entragian moves back in, grabs him by the wrist and shoots him off all the way across the ring into the opposite corner, Herb hitting hard chest first but grabbing the top rope to keep himself standing this time. With his arms draped across the top ropes on either side, Herb Moxley rests his forehead on the top turnbuckle, trying to catch his breath. Her hands clasped as if in prayer, Jen X stands on the outside looking up at him, but at this point, Herb is too exhausted to notice. Getting up from one knee, Issac Entragian wisks his hair away from his face and eyes Herb in the far corner. As he rises to his feet, the fans all around the arena begin to show their signs of displeasure. Bryan Harris: These Detroiters can feel it coming. They know that the end is nigh, and they're not looking forward to the outcome, but this was in the books the moment Greyson Blade got eliminated. No way is Herb Moxley going to pull this one out. Alan Ducard: The FX Network Champion has made it this far, I don't see any reason why he couldn't make it that one last step further. Bryan Harris: Come on, this is ISSAC ENTRAGIAN we're talking about!! Jimmy Yates: I don't see how Issac is any bigger or tougher than Nicholas Creed, and Herb Moxley was able to beat him a couple years ago! Grabbing Herb by the waistband of his pants, Entragian pulls Moxley a couple steps out of the corner. Herb's arms remain on the top ropes in an arched position as his head falls away from the turnbuckle. Wanting to see the whites of his opponent's eyes before finishing him, Issac spins him around. Maintaining their arched shape, Moxley's arms lift up a little higher, his left knee following, and with a burst of energy, Herb hops up off the mat and connects with a front kick to Issac's gut, doubling him over... and the fans go wild with excitement! Alan Ducard: Super Sweet Ninja Kick!! Jimmy Yates: This is the opening he needed! Make it happen, Mox!! When Issac drops down to a knee yet again, Herb's eyes go wide and he pretends to pull an imaginary sword out of an imaginary sheath on his imaginary belt, and he hoists the imaginary sword into the air, and the fans yell out for him. "DRAGON SLAYER!!!" Quickly grabbing Issac by the head, Moxley turns towards the corner, moves in, pulling Entragian with him, scales the turnbuckles, flips upwards... BUT ISSAC REACHES UP AND GRABS HIM, TAKING CONTROL!! Bryan Harris: DISEMBOWELER!! That's it!! Issac drops to his knees and hooks the leg... ONE... TWO... THREE. Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner by pinfall... and now NUMBER ONE CONTENDER to the LEGACY WOOOORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.... ISSAC... ENNNNNTRAGIAAAAN!!!!! Getting back up to his feet, Issac staggers over to the corner above where Jen X is standing on the outside, then slowly climbs up to the second turnbuckle. His lips open, bearing his sharpened teeth. Resident blood seeps through the cracks, pooling in his gums, but the smile never leaves his face. He stands there, hands slightly out to the side and just stares out at the booing masses who fill the Joe Louis Arena. Alan Ducard: So now we know what the first half of the DESTINED FOR GREATNESS 2009 main event will be, as Issac Entragian wins the 2009 Co-Op Challenge to become the Number One contender. Jimmy Yates: I should've known that this day would come sooner or later, and now all the questions will arise, asking if Issac Entragian - who has built up his name in the No Limits Division, can get it done when he has to compete within the confines of the rulebook. In a No Limits Match? The smart money is on Issac... but when he steps into the ring for the World Championship, I can't say that to be the case. His eyes wide open, Issac gets his fill of the crowd and he steps down off of the turnbuckle and heads over to the entrance walkway, passing right by Travis Rollins who was going to raise his hand in victory, just chuckling at the notion as he walks past. Bryan Harris: Doubt Issac all you want, he's going to inflict a serious amount of pain on any opponent he faces, and if that opponent is the World Champion? He'll have to find other ways to inflict the pain than what he's used to if he hopes to take home the gold. Alan Ducard: That's the thing about Issac... you can never be sure what his goals are from that demented mind of his. |
