So Happy Together

A shot of the Legacy World Tag Team titles as the opening guitars squeal into A Simple Plan's cover of the Turtles' "Happy Together". A quick shot of Domination. Followed by the UnHoly Alliance. Followed by El Chupacabra. Followed by shadowy profiles of whoever has filled the last spot.

"Imagine me and you, I do
I think about you day and night, it's only right"

A slow motion shot of Damien Black bouncing off the ropes and running. Becomes slow motioin Diego de Cardenas flying of the top rope.

"To think about the girl you love and hold her tight
So happy together"

Chris Turner right in Laura's face venom in his eyes.

"If I should call you up, invest a dime
And you say you belong to me and ease my mind"

El Chupacabra facing off with Domination.

"Imagine how the world could be, so very fine
So happy together"

The UnHoly Alliance standing backstage talking.

"I can't see me lovin' nobody but you
For all my life"

A shot of El Chupacabra with their arms around Hannah Perez celebrating a victory.

"When you're with me, baby the skies'll be blue
For all my life"

Domination hoist an opponent and slam him down to the mat with a vicious double team maneuver.

"Me and you and you and me
No matter how they toss the dice, it has to be"

Damien Black lifts an opponent and drops him face first across the top turnbuckle in a "snake eyes" like maneuver.

"The only one for me is you, and you for me
So happy together"

El Chupacabra making a tag. Domination walking to the ring together. The UnHoly Alliance double teaming an opponent in the corner.

"If I should call you up, invest a dime (Call you up)
And you say you belong to me and ease my mind (Ease my mind)"

Venom covers Diego... But Hector comes in and makes the save.

"Imagine how the world could be, so very fine (Very fine)
So happy together (together)"

El Chupacabra and Domination brawling in a parking garage.

"I can't see me lovin' nobody but you
For all my life"

Chris Turner helping Damien Black out of the burning warehouse.

"When you're with me, baby the skies'll be blue
For all my life "

El Chupacabra celebrate their first Tag Title victory with a huge hug.

"About my life (Yeah!)"

Domination stepping out of their rental car with Trent Logan, and heading towards an arena.

"Call you up
Ease my mind, Ease my mind, Ease my mind!"

Diego on the phone backstage.

"I can't see me lovin' nobody but you
For all my life"

An Empty ring, with a Ladder inside it. The Tag Titles hanging from the ceiling glimmering beneath a lone spotlight.

"When you're with me, baby the skies'll be blue
For all my life"

A flurry of action. Domination brawling with El Chupacabra. The UnHoly Alliance facing off with El Chupacabra.

"Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba"

Diego nailing the Montezuma's Revenge. Making a cover.

"So happy together (Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba)"

Hector with the series of violent kicks. Finishing it off with a stiff Yakuza kick. Making the cover.

"So how is the weather? (Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba)"

Chris Turner nailing the Masked Vengeance. Making the cover.

"So happy together (Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba)"

Domination nailing Total Domination. Making the cover... and then a shot of them hoisting the Legacy Tag Team Titles. The camera following the titles as the music fades out, and we fade to black, only to have an advertisement fade in.

The advertisement fades out, and then we fade in on the ringside area.

World Tag Team Championship
Ladder Match
Mirage & Lucien Gray vs
The UnHoly Alliance of Pain (Black & Turner) vs
El Chupacabra (Cardeñas y Rodriguez) vs
Domination © (O'Reily & Murdock)

Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen our next match is a ladder match for the LEGACY World Tag Team Titles, and based on our combatants this could be a brutal affair.

Jimmy Yates: We already knew that this match would feature the chaos and violence of The Unholy Alliance, the underhanded tactics of El Chupacabra and the power of Domination, but by virtue of their pre-show victory we added Lucien Gray and Mirage to this already combustible mix.

Bryan Harris: You definitely can’t count out Lucien and Mirage in this match even though they had to wrestle on the pre-show. However, I feel like you can count out Domination retaining in this match. They are just up against too much talent, and are the targets for every team as the champions, especially for El Chupacabra and the Unholy Alliance.

Jimmy Yates: Certainly they are targets, but there are team-team alliances here, and they have previously won a ladder match in LEGACY so they have experience in this type of match on the LEGACY stage.

Alan Ducard: Well we shall have to see how this one plays out and we’re ready for the introduction of our first team.

The camera moves to Josephina Colbert in the ring, and this one will get underway shortly.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match will be a ladder match for the LEGACY World Tag Team Titles. Introducing first, qualifying for this match just two days ago at the pre-show… the team of LUCIEN GRAY AND MARCUS MIRAGE!

“Resurrection” by Fear Factory hits the PA system, and the fans for the most part react negatively to Marcus and Lucien who head towards ringside. Lucien is the first one out, followed by Mirage. Gray stares down the fans as they don’t reach out or jeer at either man as they approach the ring. Both men enter the ring, and as Mirage and his giant look on towards the entrance walkway Josephina introduces the next competitors.

Josephina Colbert: Introducing team number two, they are the UNHOLY ALLIANCE!

"Angry Again" by Megadeth plays over the loud speakers and two bursts of Pyronechnics pop at the entrance walkway. Chris Turner steps out wearing an Air Awesomo T-shirt, and Black jeans. Laura follows behind him, wearing a Laura Tshirt and some blue jeans. He makes it to the ring, steps over the top rope, and raises his arms in the air. Laura stands on the outside of the ring watching him. Chris then stands in his corner and looks at the entrance walkway, awaiting his partner.

Josephina Colbert: Hailing from Middletown, Connecticut … CHRIS… TURNER!!!

The lights go out after Chris Turner gets in the ring and turn a crimson shade of red as the familiar strains of "Hello Zepp" by Charlie Clouser begin to play over the P.A. system as a circle of fire ignites on the side of the entrance walkway and we see Damien Black rise from the platform to a loud chorus of boos from the audience with his trusty hatchet and sickle in his hands while wearing a black old-school hockey mask with a red version of "The Punisher" skull painted on the front with a white Celtic cross between it's eyes. Black has on his LEGACY T-Shirt with the sleeves ripped off and baggy black karate pants with the same Punisher skull/Celtic cross combo we saw on the mask on the pant legs. Black is also wearing a cross necklace with all the edges sharpened as he stares directly at the ring, slowly lumbering his way down to ringside not making the slightest bit of eye contact with any of the fans in the audience.

Josephina Colbert: And his tag team partner... from Church Hill, Tennessee, he is "The Savior Of Sadism", DAMIEN BLACK!!!

Black pauses and glares at the ring brandishing his hatchet and sickle as an intimidation factor. A member of the audience begins to scream at Black that he sucks, only for Black to give a deadly glare in his direction and a snarl, causing the fan to jump back to the third row. Black audibly sighs and continues his slow trek to the ring eyeing the ladders as he passes them.

Alan Ducard: To say the least, this is an extremely unstable Damien Black we've seen the past few weeks. First, he turns on his spiritual advisor Ezekiel Caine, then he reconciles with him. Black's mental welfare may be hanging by the slightest of threads of threads as we speak chaps!

Bryan Harris: Well that chump in the front row as we saw basically pissed himself when Black stared in his direction and from all the horror stories I've heard people tell about Black, if he does truly snap, then God have mercy on us all!

Jimmy Yates: I'm just wondering if Turner and Black can even coexist right now because those two look like they're ready to rip one another's heads off, and after the last two encounters they had had we can only hope and pray they DON'T self-destruct.

Black then sets down the hatchet and sickle at ringside before sliding into the ring on his stomach. He then gets on his knees silently and looks to the heavens with his palms extended silently before glaring directly at Chris Turner before he gets to his feet and the music dies down with Turner and Black still just glaring at one another briefly before Black slowly backs away. Lucien and Mirage move back to the corner with Mirage sitting on the buckles, talking to Lucien who looks ready to take on both Turner and Black by himself.

Josephina Colbert: Now introducing the third team, representing the Nation of Mexico, Hector Rodriguez and Diego Cardenas, EL CHUPACABRA!

Red and green lights start flashing and Carlos Santana’s “Oye Como Va” begins playing, and immediately the boos pour in from almost the entire crowd, aside from a few scattered areas of cheers, which can be heard slightly. The camera zooms around and we see some of the pockets of cheers, coming from groups of Latino fans, who couldn’t look happier.

Bryan Harris: Those fans know true greatness when they see it.

Jimmy Yat,les: Yeah, it has nothing to do with the fact that Diego and Hector claim to be fighting almost exclusively for Latino fans, right?

Alan Ducard: For whatever reason, El Chupacabra feels the need to alienate the LEGACY fans from the United States, and personally I don’t like to see that sort of thing.

Diego is the first of the duo to walk out from the back, wearing his classic black leather poncho and a huge sombrero. He yells something in Spanish, but we can’t totally hear what he says over the booing. Hector Rodriguez follows out a moment later, wearing the new tan-colored El Chupacabra shirt.

Jimmy Yates: This reaction from the fans is CRAZY loud! They’re booing, and a select few are cheering… but they’re ALL making noise!

Alan Ducard: Well El Chupacabra are the former Tag Team Champions of the World, and I don’t imagine many people are apathetic towards them, especially with the way they happened to capture and defend the belts.

Bryan Harris: Come on Alan, we go over this time and time again. A win is a win, and the history book says they won those belts and Domination lost. More importantly with their wrestling skill, they’re the best tag team in the world, people should have an opinion on them… too bad most of the people have the wrong opinion.

Diego and Hector stand outside the ring and look on at the gargantuan men inside, and even with Hector’s size, El Chupacabra isn’t looking anxious to get into the ring. However, “Fear” by Disturbed hits the PA system and the Seattle fans explode as the tag team champions charge to the ring.

Josephina Colbert: Now Introducing the LEGACY World Heavyweight Champions, the team of Ben “RAGE” Murdock and Steve “VENOM” O’Reily … DOMINATION!

Domination wastes no time hitting the ring going right for Diego and Hector. RAGE goes after Diego, grabbing him by the leg and pulling him out of the ring before he can dive inside. Ben rocks him with two big punches before tossing him into the barricade. Steve and Hector begin trading punches, and just as Steve appears to have the advantage, Hector rakes the eyes, and sends stead into the ring post.

Alan Ducard: We have a brawl between Domination and El Chupacabra on the outside, and inside the ring things have already started up as Chris Turner went for Marcus Mirage, but Lucien Gray stepped in his path and shoved Chris Turner off his feet and to the canvas.

Jimmy Yates: There aren’t many people that can just shove down a man of Turner’s size!

Bryan Harris: Lucien does have some weaknesses, but that strength and size are a monumental obstacle for opponents. No wonder Mirage picked Lucien to mentor and bring into his sphere of influence.

Turner looks up at Black and shouts an insult as only Chris Turner can, but it goes a little something like “Hey retard, what are you waiting for here?” Now, Black and Turner both move in simultaneously and club Lucien as he goes for their throats and then hit dual double axe handles to the back. In response, Mirage strikes Turner, hitting a knee to the back, and then a spinning neckbreaker as leaving Lucien to battle Damien Black. Damien retains the advantage hitting a knee to the forehead of the bent over Lucien, and then as Gray stands, Damien hits a palm thrust up to the jaw, knocking Lucien to the buckles.

Alan Ducard: We’ve got two exciting battles going on here both inside and outside the ring, and now Damien is in the corner working with a series of strikes to Gray, trying to soften up the giant as Mirage has Turner in a chinlock on the canvas, every so often stopping to drive an elbow into Turner’s head with some vicious shots.

Jimmy Yates: Well Alan on the outside, RAGE had continued to work over Diego lifting him up and dropping him face first on the barricade and then slamming him on to the arena floor before a charge went badly and Diego used a drop toe hold to plant RAGE face first on the steel steps. O’Reily had been making a comeback on Hector, weathering now multiple Irish whips to the steel posts to ramming Hector spine first into the barricade and then hitting the spinebuster on the floor, but now Diego is coming to help Hector and VENOM doesn’t see it. Cardenas off the ring apron and hits a bulldog on VENOM to the floor.

Bryan Harris: Diego is the odd man out in this match being the only one who really uses that cruiserweight style, but that speed and athleticism is an X factor in this kind of environment that these other teams may not be able to match … DAMN!

Alan Ducard: Turning our attention back inside the ring. Damien Black was just expertly dissecting Lucien with those kicks and strikes, even using a leaping kick, but Lucien blocked a second leaping kick and has Black by the throat and delivered a chokebomb to Black out of the corner!

Jimmy Yates: Lucien needed that move to perhaps turn the tide. Mirage really had Turner where he wanted him on the canvas, but Turner managed to power his way out and dropped Marcus with two consecutive clotheslines and then left the ring and retrieved one of the ladders on the outside, and now he retrieves a second, sliding it inside the ring.

Chris crawls back inside the ring, and begins placing a ladder in the corner, and he grabs Mirage and tosses him into the ladder in the corner! The crowd groans at the impact, and now Turner grabs the second ladder, and looks to hammer Mirage in the midsection in the corner, but at the last moment, Lucien steps in front of Turner and takes the ladder shot instead of Marcus.

Jimmy Yates: Was Lucien trying to protect Mirage there?

Alan Ducard: It looks like he was Jimmy.

Bryan Harris: Lucien can take a hell of a lot of punishment guys, but Mirage is the master strategist. Lucien wants Mirage in the best condition as long as possible in this match so at a critical juncture later in this contest, Mirage can be physically able to carry out their plan.

After taking the ladder shot for Mirage, Turner holds the ladder like a baseball bat and slams it down on Lucien’s back. Turner then turns his attention to Mirage once more and charges at him, but Mirage drops down by the ropes and pulls down the top rope sending Turner over the top to the outside! Damien having recovered from the choke bomb comes after Marcus, but is greeted with a ladder shot to the midsection from Mirage.

Alan Ducard: So much is happening inside the ring, I feel like we have to talk about what has happened and what is happening outside the ring. After that bulldog to the floor on the outside, El Chupacbra teamed up on O’Reily with Hector heaving up and then Diego leaping off the apron hitting a lifting cutter to the arena floor (3D). From there the ladders have come into play as Diego hit a low blow and vulnerable VENOM takes a ladder to the side of the face.

Jimmy Yates: Diego is instructing Hector now and they are setting up a ladder to stretch from the ring to the barricade!

Bryan Harris: There are bad intentions here for one half of the tag team champions, as Hector is placing O’Reily on the ladder on the outside!

Hector heads up to the ring apron as Diego heads to the top rope and it looks as if Diego will strike first, and then if there is anything left, Hector will clean up the mess. Cardenas goes to the top rope, but sneaking up on the ring apron is a very pissed off RAGE who rips Diego down, crotching him on the ropes, and then clotheslining him to the inside. Hector turns to the see why Diego has delayed, and he’s met with a wicked left hook, and then a kick to the gut. RAGE drops off the apron as Hector falls, and then having him hooked RAGE opens up the offensive arsenal, and proceeds to hit a over the shoulder back-to-belly piledriver (Kryptonite Krunch) on Hector on the arena floor. At this point, VENOM has recovered enough to roll off the ladder, and he goes on the offensive with RAGE to attack a downed Hector.

Alan Ducard: Domination narrowly avoided a situation that could have cost them the match, but now they are going to work on Hector on the outside pulling out the set of ring steps and VENOM hooks Hector and suplexes him on the ring steps!

Jimmy Yates: RAGE moves out on to the ladder now and leaps off the ladder and splashes Hector on the ring steps!

Bryan Harris: Guys you need to look back at that ring right now because Lucien and Mirage are about to take complete control inside the ring.

After hitting Black with the ladder, Mirage quickly DDT’d him on the canvas, and then grounded Damien with a headlock until a recovered Lucien Gray could drop a knee on Black’s spine. He now rolls him onto the ladder. Mirage heads to the top rope as Lucien grabs him, and then helping to propel Mirage, Marcus flies and splashing down onto Damien on the ladder! The crowd gives it up for the move in spite of their overall feelings about the challengers, and now Mirage instructs Lucien to quickly set up the other ladder, and try to get to the belts with Domination distracted with taking on El Chupacabra on the outside.

Alan Ducard: It looks like Lucien and Mirage are taking first crack at going for the titles, and with a ladder set up under the belts this one could end quickly. Mirage continues climbing and he’s about half way up the ladder now as Diego starts to stir inside the ring, and both Domination members become aware that a trip to the titles is underway.

Jimmy Yates: Diego charges in at the ladder but Lucien catches him by the throat and tosses him hard into the turnbuckles, and here comes VENOM and RAGE! Big boot to the faster RAGE and a big uppercut to VENOM.

Bryan Harris: Look Jimbo on the outside!

With everyone down inside the ring, Chris Turner who had been dropped to the floor earlier, had set up a ladder outside the ring, and had begun to climb. Just as Lucien dropped VENOM, he turned as Chris leaps from the ladder, over the top rope, and knocks the giant to the canvas with a THUD. Mirage looks down to see Turner jumping on Mirage to start raining down blows. He’s momentarily puzzled as to why Turner didn’t try to stop him when he’s closing in on the title, until he feels an arm on his leg. He looks to see Damien Black grabbing his leg, and then hammering on his back.

Alan Ducard: Damien Black pulls Mirage off the ladder into the crucifix position and he hits the El Crucifio (Border Toss) OFF THE LADDER ONTO THE LADDER RUNNING BETWEEN THE RING AND THE BARRICADE!

Jimmy Yates: MY GOD WHAT AN IMPACT! The fans DEFINITELY are not fans of Damien Balck, but they LOVED what they just witnessed!

Bryan Harris: Mirage is DOWN, but Lucien isn’t and he’s hopping mad!

Lucien, seeing Mirage being tossed rages and blocks a Turner punch, and flips him aside, and then grabbing Turner, he tosses him face first into the turnbuckles, and on the rebound he lifts him up and drops him with the atomic drop. The suddenly, there is Hector Rodriguez back into the ring and delivers a Yakuza kick to Turner than drops him.

Alan Ducard: Hector is back in this match, and El Chupacabra is back at full strength inside the ring. Hector now moves in on Lucien Gray and staggers the big man with a big kick to the side of the knee, and here comes Diego with a dropkick to the other knee.

Jimmy Yates: Lucien still hasn’t gone down, and it took a giant leap from Chris Turner to do it last time. Hector with another kick and Diego launches himself with a chop block, and now here come Domination! Domination are working with Diego and Hector to deal with Lucien!

Bryan Harris: If they can drop Lucien we’re down to only two teams at full strength which is a huge advantage with those two teams.

Alan Ducard: RAGE has him hooked. VENOM has Lucien hooked, and Hector and Diego lay a ladder out and … DOMINATION DOUBLE SUPLEXES LUCIEN UP AND OVER ONTO THE LADDER!

Lucien writhes in pain and rolls off the steel, but the moment the move is completed, the alliance is over as Hector goes after RAGE, knocking him to the canvas immediately, and both men start trading punches. VENOM meanwhile goes after Chris Turner who is starting to get to his feet, and VENOM lifts him up and bodyslams him to the canvas. Damien Black in turn takes a shot at Diego, and sends him sprawling. Cardenas gets back up to his feet, and Damien catches him by the throat, and goes to lift Diego up, and he does, and chokeslams Diego down to the canvas. After the chokeslam, Black tosses Diego into the buckles, and begins dragging a ladder over to that corner. He slips it through the ropes as he lifts Diego up and places him on the top turnbuckle. Damien Black grabs Diego by the throat again, but suddenly Diego reaches out and claws at Damien’s mask and his eyes.

Alan Ducard: Diego going to the mask and the eyes, and Damien can’t see as that mask has been turned around by the former No Limits Champion, and Damien is taking off the mask.

Jimmy Yates: I know he’s not going to be happy about it, but he has to be able to see.

Bryan Harris: Damien has the mask off and let’s get ready to shrink back in terror in that mug … OUCH!

Alan Ducard: My sentiments exactly Bryan, Diego jumps off the turnbuckle and see-sawed the ladder Damien set up right into the face of the Savior of Sadism, and he’s now bleeding from the forehead.

Jimmy Yates: Damien is down here, and it looks like we have Domination, El Chupacabra, and Chris Turner hanging on here, and VENOM with the Irish whip on Turner sending him into the standing ladder, and here comes RAGE!

Alan Ducard: Turner staggers back to VENOM who pulls him into that inverted facelock position and RAGE steadies the standing ladder and goes up and drops off the ladder with the elbow drop to complete the elbow drop/inverted DDT combination!

Bryan Harris: For the moment we’re down to Domination and El Chupacabra, and I think this is where we will see El Chupacabra shine.

Bryan is right about the one thing, we’re down to two teams for the moment. Lucien is down, Turner and Black are down, and Mirage is finally starting to stir on the outside. So the former feud partners turn to each other to do battle, and RAGE strikes first, ducking a kick from Hector and meeting him off the ropes with a big clothesline, knocking him back into the buckles. Diego tries to use the second ladder on VENOM, but VENOM side steps and grabs the ladder and drives it back into Diego’s gut. So VENOM grabs Diego, and heaves him up and powerbombs him into the turnbuckles, dropping Cardenas.

Alan Ducard: Hector is now left alone with Domination, and he’s in trouble. VENOM heaves Hector up in a powerbomb as RAGE goes to the top of the ladder … listen to the fans guy they know what’s coming!

Jimmy Yates: TOTAL DOMINATION OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER! That’s a huge impact and we’re down to two fighters! Hector is OUT. He’s not getting up here any time soon.

Bryan Harris: Dumb luck! Someone has to stop these meatheads from getting those belts!

RAGE moves back to the ladder and begins to climb up as VENOM looks on to try and prevent the ladder from being tipped over. Chris Turner is the first to stir, but VENOM is pre-emptive and he kicks him in the ribs as he tries to stand, knocking him down. Damien Black is next, and he gets a big punch in on VENOM, but VENOM rakes the cut and topples Black with an elbow smash to the forehead. Lucien Gray is back up, and this is a challenge for VENOM. RAGE is now two-thirds of the way up the ladder. Mirage is up to the ring apron, and he still is directing Lucien to take out VENOM. Gray and VENOM trade punches as Mirage moves in behind RAGE, but RAGE kicks Mirage down and Marcus topples back to the canvas.

Alan Ducard: RAGE is going to get that belt! RAGE is going to get it. He’s touching the gold!

Jimmy Yates: Diego is up and he has a ladder and he’s setting it across the standing ladder! RAGE is going to grab the belt, but here comes Diego …. OH MY GOD! DIEGO JUST RAN UP THE LADDER AND HIT A KICK TO THE FACE AND BOTH MEN FALL TO THE CANVAS!

Bryan Harris: That athleticism pays off for El Chupacabra, and this match will continue much to the chagrin of the fans except for the Latino’s and of course … me.

Mirage rolls off the canvas and a moment later slides in a third ladder to compliment the two already in the ring, and he surveys the scene before him with Diego and RAGE lying in a heap on the canvas in front of him. Hector is down all the way across the ring from him. VENOM and Lucien are battling back and forth trading punches, and now a bloodied Damien Black and a revived Chris Turner seem to now be looking towards the ladders. Thinking quickly he rushes behind VENOM and hits him in the back with the ladder. Lucien then lifts up VENOM as Mirage leaps up and dropkicks the big man in the back, and then heads to the top rope. Mirage leaps off, catching VENOM in a neckbreaker drop as Lucien crushes him on the canvas like a bug. However, as Lucien and Mirage rise up, we see Turner and Black running with a ladder at them looking to clothesline both men. However, Lucien steps in front of Mirage and takes the full force of the ladder shot, which cuts his jaw and cheek, and knocks him back into the turnbuckles!

Alan Ducard: Lucien takes another shot for Mirage and this one may have put him down for the count! Black now with the ladder and he slams it into Lucien’s skull as he lies in the buckles. Turner is coming for Mirage, perhaps angry for Mirage dumping him earlier, but Mirage meets him with his second dropkick of the night and this one is textbook!

Jimmy Yates: Mirage turns around here, but a bloodied Damien Black rocks him with the ladder, and now Black has Mirage up and Mirage digs at the wound, and hoists Black on his shoulders for a Samoan drop!

Bryan Harris: Mirage has a chance now to go for the belts! Come on Marcus get the straps before one of the meathead champions can stop you.

Marcus begins the climb up the ladder as RAGE, VENOM, Hector, and Diego begin to stir. Marcus moves step by step as quickly as he can, but he’s still feeling the effects from earlier. He watches down below as it seemed that nothing would be able to stop him. However, just as Mirage turns his attention back to the belt, Damien Black sits up from the canvas, and begins crawling up the ladder behind Mirage.

Alan Ducard: Damien Black is in hot pursuit of Mirage, and now he’s in behind Marcus, latching on to him and …

Jimmy Yates: HOLY SHIT … SERIAL DRILLER OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER!

Bryan Harris: That idiot put both of them out!

Damien landed HARD on the canvas completing the lung blower/backstabber, but Mirage was down and apparently out after the shocking stop with Damien’s knees driven into his spine. Lucien is a bloody mess from Turner, and he tries to crawl out of the corner, but RAGE is up and he and VENOM charge in and clothesline Lucien out over the top rope.

Alan Ducard: Lucien is now down on the outside, and VENOM has Damien Black to his feet while Turner is going after RAGE. Turner with the rake of the eyes and a boot to the gut and he tosses RAGE face first into the buckles. VENOM has Damien and he tosses Black face first into the ladder, and then he tosses Black out over the top rope.

Jimmy Yates: So right now Mirage is down and has rolled out of the ring, Black is on the outside, and now we have no ladders standing in the ring with five men still inside.

Bryan Harris: I’m telling you that El Chupacabra have this one guys.

Turner takes offense at VENOM taking down Black that he rushes O’Reily and hammers him on the head and neck from behind, and then quickly grabbing a ladder, slams it into VENOM’s spine. Turner moves to the buckles, and sets up a ladder next to the turnbuckles, and he puts VENOM on top of the buckles, and then moves to the ladder grabbing him, and slams him to the canvas with …

Jimmy Yates: The PTSS (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) reverse DDT! He used the buckles to hold up VENOM and the ladder to hold himself up, and Chris Turner has for the moment put down VENOM, and things aren’t looking good for RAGE either as Hector delivers and inverted DDT, and Diego hits a tornado DDT out of it!

Bryan Harris: What is going on now? Turner is rushing at El Chupacabra with that ladder and … Hector kicks him in the head!

Alan Ducard: Hector has disarmed Turner, and now he scoops up Chris and puts him in the corner in the tree of woe, and what’s going on here, a ladder is being brought to the opposite corner.

Diego goes to the top rope and Hector grabs the ladder and suplexes it back with Diego on the top of the ladder and he leaps off then, hitting a body splash senton down onto Turner!

Jimmy Yates: WHAT A MOVE FROM EL CHUPACABRA! Turner is down, and now Hector is trying to take that ladder and set it up in the middle of the ring … and he is! El Chupacabra is doing what it can to get to those belts and become the two time champions.

Bryan Harris: Hector is going up to get those belts now and we are about to have new and deserving tag team champions.

Hector begins the climb, and in fact he makes it near the top of the ladder when VENOM stirs and upon gaining his feet, he grabs a ladder as Hector is reaching for the belts. The fans are going crazy as Hector’s hands touch the gold and begin to grip, but VENOM grabs the ladder and takes a couple steps up and drives the ladder into Hector’s back. VENOM moves up behind Hector, and grabbing him, he hits a belly to back suplex off the ladder!

Alan Ducard: VENOM has stopped Hector and now RAGE has the ladder VENOM has a moment ago and he sets it up in the corner … and a recovered RAGE tosses Diego face first into the ladder! Now Mirage is coming back into the ring and he catches RAGE with a with a face crusher!

Jimmy Yates: Mirage is pulling RAGE to his feet and it looks like he’s going for a DDT from that front face lock, but here comes VENOM blindsiding RAGE, and now he picks Mirage up on his shoulders, and … ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP ON THE LADDER THAT FELL OUT OF THE CORNER!

Bryan Harris: I hate to say it but the Champions are coming on strong here at the end … I don’t want to say it but they are!

Alan Ducard: Damien Black is trying to get back in the ring, and he’s coming for Domination! Damien Black with the throat thrust on VENOM and another! Here comes RAGE and RAGE clotheslines black down, and VENOM pulls him up into the standing headscissors.

Jimmy Yates: RAGE is going for the ladder now and …. SPIKE PILE DRIVER OFF THE LADDER ON TO BLACK!

Bryan Harris: Brutal to be sure, but this isn’t a lock now for the champions. El Chupacabra are still in the ring and it looks like Turner is lurking.

VENOM heads up the ladder now as RAGE looks to face off with anyone who dares to stop him, and unfortunately for him, two people do as Hector is back up and he goes after RAGE and so does Diego. RAGE floors Diego with a wicked punch, but Hector meets him with a punch. As Hector and RAGE battle, Chris Turner comes back in the ring and moves up the ladder behind VENOM, and lifts up VENOM and drops him back off the ladder with the belly to back suplex!

Jimmy Yates: Chris Turner is off the canvas, and he’s heading for the ladder, and Turner is climbing for the belts!

Bryan Harris: He is, but now Diego has chopblocked RAGE, and now he has RAGE is a leglock and Hector is free!

Turner continues his climb as Hector moves up the opposite side of the ladder. Turner reaches the belts first, and he begins trying to undo them, but Hector reaches the top and rocks him with a big punch. Turner retaliates with a headbutt and a left hand. Hector seems ready to fall, but he uses his return momentum to drive his fist into Turner’s throat! A surprised Turner clutches a hand to his throat, and Hector manages to push Chris from the ladder!

Alan Ducard: Brutal move from Hector! He went for the throat and Turner eats the canvas, and now Hector is going for the belts!

Jimmy Yates: The fans are HATING this … they are cheering for Domination to somehow get up and stop this, but it’s all on VENOM as RAGE is trapped by Diego!

Bryan Harris: Stay down guys this one is all over!

VENOM recovers to get to his feet and crawl up the ladder where Chris Turner was just a few moments ago, and this time it is VENOM who catches Hector in a vulnerable position, and VENOM drives a chop down into Hector’s neck, and then slams him face first off the top of the ladder, and a moment later Hector topples to the canvas!

Alan Ducard: Now it’s Domination looking to grab those belts! Diego can’t believe it and he’s released the leg lock on RAGE to stop VENOM from getting the championship belts. Diego is setting up a ladder next to VENOM’s and he’s going to run up a ladder again!

Jimmy Yates: He did it once, can he do it again!

Bryan Harris: He better if we want deserving champions again!

Diego runs up the ladder and in a moment that can only be described as amazing, Diego runs up the ladders and flips up with a headscissors-type move that flips VENOM back off the ladder, but allows Diego to grab a hold of the crosses ladder before he can tumble to the canvas!

Jimmy Yates: WOW! JUST WOW! Bryan all of that athleticism you talk about is showed right there. I despise El Chupacabra and even I can’t believe it!

Diego moves up the ladders as a hobbled RAGE uses the ropes to get to his feet.

Alan Ducard: RAGE still has some fight in him, but Diego is going for the belts! Can RAGE stop him? Can RAGE save this match!

Jimmy Yates: RAGE off the ropes, and … HE THROWS HIMSELF INTO THE LADDER! THE LADDER FALLS OUT FROM UNDER DIEGO!

Bryan Harris: Diego is hanging above the ring by the belts!

The fans are going crazy as Diego hangs high above the ring just short of victory and a massive drop. RAGE, limping, picks up the ladder and repositions it just off to the side of Cardenas, who is still working on his situation. RAGE grabs his leg and grits his teeth, blocking out the pain and goes up the ladder, and finally reaches Diego.

Alan Ducard: What does RAGE have in mind … what’s he going to do … oh no … OH NO!

Jimmy Yates: HE HAS DIEGO OVER HIS SHOULDERS AND …. POWERBOMB!

Byran Harris: NO! NO! NO!

The fans roar as RAGE powerbombs Diego off the belts to the canvas, and RAGE remains a top the ladder, and he reaches up to the belts!

Alan Ducard: RAGE is wobbly on that leg, but he has the belts in his grasp and …

Jimmy Yates: HE HAS THE BELTS … RAGE HAS THE BELTS … DOMINATION WINS!

Bryan Harris: I can’t believe it … I refuse to believe those meatheads won!

The fans go crazy as RAGE holds up the belts on the top of the ladder, and VENOM now coming to goes and climbs up the ladder to join his partner and claim his title as Josephina announces the winners.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen your winners and STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! DOMINATION!!

Alan Ducard: Listen to these fans, thrilled that the champions have survived, and won their second tag team ladder match here in LEGACY!!

Jimmy Yates: They’re the ONLY tag team to win ladder matches in LEGACY!!

Bryan Harris: Domination may have survived this time Alan, but there are too many other talented teams as we’ve seen tonight for this to last.

Jimmy Yates: Maybe so but for tonight Domination are World Tag Team Champions!

Coming down the ladder, Steve O'Reily and Ben Murdock exit the ring with the belts in their hands. Halfway across the elevated entrance walkway, they are joined by a beaming Trent Logan, who pats both of them on the shoulders, and then the trio heads backstage. The scene then fades to black, and an advertisement fades in.

The advertisement fades out and then a video fades in.

To Be The Greatest

Soft Piano plays as we see X-Calibur walking through a dark alley in a poor part of Philadelphia. Sirens blare as we leap into the second verse of Weezer's "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)". We see Crash in a similar setting in Philadelphia, but Crash is standing with a slew of the Diabolik's cronies.

"I'm baddest of the bad
I'm the best that you've ever had"

X-Calibur sends Stephen Rawlings to the mat with a nasty right hand. He looks up and flashes a smirk.

"I'm the tops, I'm the king
All the girls get up when I sing"

Crash clotheslines an opponent. We flash to him hoisting the Legacy World Title.

"I'm the meanest in the place
Step up, I'll mess with your face"

X with a wicked boot to the face of Crash. Crash nailing X with a running knee lift.

"I don't care where you are
Look up and follow this star"

X-Calibur perched on the top rope. Stands. Launches with the "Hang Time" elbow.

"I, I'm gonna tear down the wall"

Crash clothesline an opponent over the top rope.

"I may not be here... when you call"

Crash launches an opponent with an overhead belly to belly suplex.

"So best be givin' me your all, oo hoo"

X-Calibur standing toe to toe with Crash exchanging a flurry of rights and lefts. Flash bulbs go off maniacally around them.

"After the havoc that I'm gonna wreak
No more words will critics have to speak"

Crash pinning Loco Martinez. Becomes Crash pinning X-Calibur.

"I've got the answers
To the tangled knot"

X Locks in the Legendary Pain.

"Sleep tight in your cot"

Crash locking in his roll over STF

"Oh baby, I've been told that I'm going crazy
Oh baby, well I can't be held down"

Crash brutalizing an opponent. Pounding him mercilessly.

"Oh baby, somehow I'm keepin' it steady
Oh baby, I'm tearin' up this town"

X-Calibur again walking through the streets of Philadelphia. This time he's in center city.

"Hey, this is what I like
Cut my heart with a modest spike"

A bloodied Crash lays on the mat. A puddle collecting beneath his head.

"Hey, this is nothing new
I've got more than enough for you"

The shot changes becoming a similar shot of X-Calibur who's bleeding from the head struggling to get up. Using the ropes for assistance.

"I can take on anybody
I can do my thing"

Crash vs. Loco Martinez becomes X-Calibur vs. Greg Allocca. Becomes Crash vs. Crazy Boy. Becomes X-Calibur vs. Justin Moreno.

"I don't want to hurt nobody
But a bee has got to sting"

X launching and nailing an opponent with the "Dragon's Fist".

"I'mma fix it if you mix it up, hoo hoo
Talk smack and I'm-a-gonna shut you up, hoo hoo"

Crash slapping the taste out of an opponent's mouth.

"I am the greatest man that ever lived
I was born to give"

X-Calibur stepping out onto the Legacy entrance way the crowd leaps to great the Legend.

"I am the greatest man that ever lived
Oh radioactive"

Crash steps out to make his way to the ring flanked by members of the Diabolik.

"Somebody said all the world's a stage and each of us is a player.
That's what I've been trying to tell you...."

Inside a beat up wrestling ring in a run down gym. X-Calibur bouncing off the ropes becomes Crash bouncing off the ropes.

"In act one, I was struggling to survive. Nobody wanted my action dead or alive.

X walking through his old stomping grounds in Philly from a promo earlier this week.

"In act two, I hit the big time and bodies be all up on my behind. "

X-Calibur and Crash battling for the Tao of Valor tokens. Crash covers X. 1...2...3.

"And I can't help myself cuz I was born to shine.
If you don't like it, you can shove it. But you don't like it, you love it".

Crash battling. Hoisting the Legacy World Title high above his head.

"So I'll be up here in a rage until they put the curtain down on the stage."

The same beat up ring cracks and eventually explodes showing the ring for Destined for Greatness.

"I am the greatest man that ever lived
I was born to give and give and give"

X-Calibur dropping an oppnent with a right. Another with a ring shaking spinebuster. And finally an "X-Terminator"

"I am the greatest man that ever lived
radioac ...dioac ...dioac ...dioac"

Crash drops someone with a DDT. He nails a clothesline. And then drives someone down with the "Aero Zeppelin Driver"

"I am the greatest man that ever lived"

Crash coming to the ring. X-Calibur coming to the ring.

"I was born to give"

Finally one last shot of the Legacy World Title, and then we fade to black.

LEGACY World Title Match
X-Calibur vs Crash ©

The lights go completely out in the arena and a single spotlight shines down on the middle of the ring where Josephina Colbert is standing.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, it is NOW time for the MAIN event!

The crowd starts to cheer, and Josephina gives it a moment before continuing.

Josephina Colbert: The final match of the night is set for one fall and is for the LEGACY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Introducing first…

BOW DOWN,

BITCHES...

THE LEGEND...

HAS ARRIVED!!

The lights remain low, but golden lights shine down on the ring. Slowly but surely, one at a time golden lights shine up from below the elevated entrance walkway, making their way to the entrance stage as Metallica’s “Harvester of Sorrow” plays over the speakers. When the spotlight hits the edge of the entrance walkway, gold pyro bursts up from either side of the entrance walkway, extending out towards the edges of the entrance stage, then bursts shoot up one by one, coming all the way back to the entrance curtain, crossing and going back to the edge of the stage forming an X as we look down from an upper-level camera vantage point.

Josephina Colbert: Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… he is the challenger… X….CALIBUR!!!

Wearing a pair of long pant tights with alternating gold and black, X-Calibur steps out onto the stage as two final blasts of pyro shoot up diagonally in front of him, forming an “X”. He grins, and then begins walking towards the ring.

Alan Ducard: Here he comes, the man who most people thought was destined to win the Co-Op Challenge back at GLIMMER OF HOPE. It came down to the final two when X-Calibur was in there with Crash at the time, but Crash found the way on that night to retain that belt against all odds.

Jimmy Yates: And since then, all hell has broken loose as far as the rumor mill is concerned. People have been speculating about Cronos’ possible involvement in The Diabolik, which we saw was not the case earlier tonight… There have also been rumors about X-Calibur being a member of The Diabolik as well.

Bryan Harris: All this speculation just drives me mad, Jimbo. Did X-Calibur walk out of that curtain with a Diabolik shirt on? No he didn’t. Crash is the World Champion right now, so why would they want to replace him, especially after all he’s overcome?!

Jimmy Yates: Well maybe they might think his time is about up?

After wiping off his feet on the edge of the ring apron, X-Calibur winks at his girlfriend, Catrina, who is seated in the front row, and then he enters the ring and slowly does some final stretching.

Josephina Colbert: And his opponent…

The booing starts even before the red spotlights shine upwards from all around the ring and up from beneath the entrance walkway. Matching red lights shine down from the rafters, bathing the crowd in red as "Here Comes the Pain" by Slayer begins playing.

Josephina Colbert: Also hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… he is the reigning LEGACY World Champion… representing the DIABOLIK…. Here is… Crrrrrrrrash!!!

Crimson colored sparks start raining down from above the entrance curtain as a giant crimson italic “D” appears on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron. Through the pyrotechnics steps Crash, wearing a long black hooded robe. Underneath, you can see his black and crimson wrestling tights, and around his waist – the LEGACY World Championship belt.

Alan Ducard: Both of these men claim the City of Brotherly Love to be their hometown, and even though at one time these two men were tag team partners, friends, nearly BROTHERS if not just BROTHERS IN ARMS, I wouldn’t expect ANY of that to carry over here tonight.

Bryan Harris: Absolutely not! There’s gold on the line, there’s reputations at stake… These two men are fighting to create larger, longer lasting legacies for their wrestling career, and there’s no way that either is going to give much thought at all to the fact that they used to be friends.

Jimmy Yates: I agree, except to the extent that they’ll think back to their training from years past with each other as they try to consider their next move. OH, and Bryan? Your logic about X-Calibur not being part of the Diabolik just because he didn’t come out of that curtain with their shirt on? Crash didn’t have a shirt on at all when he walked through that curtain.

Bryan Harris: Keep this job as long as you can, Jimbo, because you’re well on your way to being one of those old guys who hangs out in the park, pretending to play chess while you talk to your other conspiracy theorists about how the government is run by aliens.

Ignoring the fans who boo him from either side of the elevated entrance walkway, Crash keeps his eyes fixated on X-Calibur the entire way to the ring. He gets into the ring without incident, taking off his robes and dropping it over the top rope to the outside where a ring attendant keeps it from hitting the ground. His eyes remaining locked on his opponent, Crash reaches behind his back and unclasps the LEGACY World Championship. Holding it in his hands, Crash lifts it up and gives it a kiss, then walks forward a step and hands it to referee Klinton Porter.

Alan Ducard: There it is, folks, that’s the biggest prize in the sport today, and that’s what it’s all for. That’s what these two men are working towards. Crash has it, everybody else wants it, and tonight it’s X-Calibur’s chance to fight for it.

Jimmy Yates: The lights all over the arena come back on, and these fans can’t wait to get things started… there’s the opening bell!

Both men walk towards the center of the ring with an unmatched level of intensity. The crowd sits on the edge of their seats as they meet in the center of the ring, eye to eye, nose to nose. Crash with a slight height and weight advantage... but X-Calibur shows no trepidation over the fact.

Alan Ducard: Both of these fine specimens look to be in prime condition for this much anticipated main event title match. All I can say, is that this one... is going to be good.

Jimmy Yates: Look at the intensity in that ring. They wanna tear each other’s heads off... but neither of them are moving a muscle. That, ladies and gentlemen, is unbridled focus.

Camera flash bulbs light up the Key Arena like Christmas, and it doesn’t take long for both competitors to start mouthing off at one another. All of a sudden, as X-Calibur says something that must’ve stung Crash a bit, Crash places his hand on X-Calibur’s face and pie-faces him backwards a few feet, drawing a huge "Oooooooh!" from the capacity crowd. X-Calibur stands back up right and gets right back in Crash’s face.

Bryan Harris: Bad move, X… you should take a hint…

Out of nowhere, X-Calibur delivers an ear drum shattering slap to the face that sends Crash back a few feet in his own right, leaving behind a deep red hand print, also drawing a huge "Oooooooh!" from the crowd. Crash smirks widely as a single tear escapes the duct in the corner of his right eye as such is the natural bodily reaction of a stinging slap to the face like that. Both men nod their heads at one another, almost as if they were saying, "That’s the way its gonna be."

Alan Ducard: You can hear that smack from here, and that is how this match is going to be – both of these men are going to tear at each other, doing whatever they can to follow up and surpass any offense the other is able to dish out.

X-Calibur is the first one to break the facade and throws a left punch, but seconds after Crash throws a right fist of his own. Lefts and rights, rights and lefts, both men sling their guns at one another like outlaws of the old wild west. After trading several painful shots, it is Crash who gains the upper hand and sends X-Calibur reeling backwards. The fans all begin to boo this, but soon the boos are turned right back into cheers as X-Calibur battles back against the LEGACY World Champion. Rights and lefts send the defending champion back first into the ropes, and X-Calibur looks to be relentless in his assault.

Jimmy Yates: Get him, X!!

Bryan Harris: Aren’t you supposed to be impartial?!

Jimmy Yates: Whatever, Bryan, I don’t think anyone could be impartial when it comes to The Diabolik!

Bryan Harris: How do you even know which one of theseguys is part of The Diabolik!? It could be X-Calibur for all you know!!

Placing both of his hands across X-Calibur’s chest, he shoves the 2008 Hawkins Memorial Tournament winner away from him with such force that X-Calibur goes down to the mat. With great agility though, X-Calibur uses this momentum to his advantage and rolls right back onto his feet. Crash now advancing towards him, X-Calibur throws up some more rights and lefts as these two powerhouses collide in the epicenter of Seattle for the biggest prize in the game.

Alan Ducard: Absolutely NO give in either of these men, and they both look to be going full out even here in the opening minutes of the match!

Bryan Harris: Get in there, Crash!!

Jimmy Yates: Who’s not impartial now?!

Crash with a well placed boot to X-Calibur’s mid-section and he is finally able to put a stop to the unrelenting fists. Grabbing X-Calibur by the back of the head and the arm he sends him into the ropes with ruthless force. X on the rebound, he ducks a clothesline attempt and continues building momentum to the other side. Using the recoil effect to help propel him into the air, X-Calibur flies towards Crash with a huge lariat of his own, dropping the World Champion flat on his ass with earth shattering force and also causing himself to trip up and spill towards to ropes on the other side.

Alan Ducard: Such momentum there by the challenger!!

Bryan Harris: He better hope he doesn’t get wreckless…

Getting back to his feet, he watches Crash get back to his and notes the look of anger painted onto his face. Crash charges at X-Calibur like a bull in a china shop and both men spill between the middle and top rope, out onto the ring apron and eventually down to the outside mat.

Jimmy Yates: Both of these men are well versed at wrestling outside the ring, so I wouldn’t say this favors either of them.

Bryan Harris: I’d still give the nod to Crash.

Both men fight their way to their feet with fists and elbows. Crash grabs X-Calibur by the back of his head and slams him face first against the edge of the ring apron. As X holds his face in agony, Crash goes to do the same thing over again but X-Calibur "mans up" and punches Crash right in his jaw, which gives him enough breathing room to grab Crash by the back of his head and slam him face first against the edge of the ring apron.

Alan Ducard: Tit for tat! Quid pro quo! Do Unto Others!

Bryan Harris: X-Calibur better hope they don’t trade moves like that, because the advantage would obviously be in Crash’s court with the strength advantage!

Jimmy Yates: Sometimes it’s not about strength, but about resolve and intensity – neither of which X-Calibur is lacking in at all… not to mention the fact that Crash isn’t THAT much stronger than X-Calibur!

Playing the tit-for-tat game with one another, X-Calibur grabs Crash’s arm and attempts an Irish whip into the steel guard rail, but Crash’s powerful upper body strength has none of it and reverses the move, sending X-Calibur with incredible force into the steel guard rail. With the security team holding the front row back from this brawl that is escalating by the second, Crash dives forward at X-Calibur with a vicious spear into his mid-section right against the steel guard rail. This causes the entire steel guard rail itself to fall back against the cement with both competitors laying on top of it like the remnants of a bar fight.

Jimmy Yates: And THAT’S why front row seats cost so much, because sometimes you get to be part of the action!!

Alan Ducard: Nice to see the fans staying back, not getting involved. It always confuses me when a fan believe they have the right to get involved in the action.

Bryan Harris: I’m just glad that referee Klinton Porter is letting these two go at it without so much as starting a ten count! Nobody wants to see this match end in a DQ or a count out, and so I hope he continues to be light on the rules.

Jimmy Yates: All I know is that if Crash pulls out the brass knucks again like he did at Glimmer of Hope, I pray to God that someone takes them from him, because I don’t think anyone wants to see things end under those conditions either!

Crash is up to his feet first so he helps X-Calibur to his. But X-Calibur throws another left handed punch right to the chin and Crash reels back yet again. Stifling Crash’s power a bit, X-Calibur runs straight at him with his foot outstretched and pivots with his standing leg, connecting square in the face with a brutally stiff Yakuza kick that sends Crash down to the sticky ringside seating floor area.

Bryan Harris: Oh yuck. Have you seen these floors? All the hippies with their mountain mud covered sandals and unwashed feet… somebody get Crash a wet nap!!

Jimmy Yates: I guess that makes the move doubley effective, then, huh? The kick hurt and Crash had his face put in some dirty nastiness. You gotta love it!!

With fans hooping and hollering for this brawl closely nestling the competitors in the vicinity of the audience, X-Calibur sticks close to the World Champion and immediately brings him to his feet after the Yakuza kick. Nailing a left cross right into the cleft of Crash’s jaw, almost as if he’s trying to break it, Crash stumbles back into the sharp ascending stairs in the middle of the aisle way. X-Calibur climbs on top of him and unleashes a flurry of lightning quick fists that end up busting open X-Calibur’s knuckles right across the left eyebrow of Crash’s face. X-Calibur doesn’t care though as he continues waylaying the world champion in the middle of the stairway, but Crash uses his brute strength to shove X-Calibur off of him and down to the cement floor.

Bryan Harris: See? All the intensity in the world can’t make up for the STRENGTH of Crash!!

Alan Ducard: Had Crash not been able to do that, he might’ve been in serious trouble of losing the shortest World Championship match in LEGACY history.

Still raging on from the momentum he’s built, X-Calibur charges forward at Crash with great speed to which Crash uses against him. Catching X-Calibur with a bear hug, Crash uses X-Calibur’s own momentum to fling him up and over with a release belly to belly suplex right against the ascension of the arena stairs. X-Calibur’s back and elbows crash violently against the sharp steel stairs and his legs and head smash right against the cold, unforgiving steel railing that stands in the middle of the aisle way. The fans immediately let out a roar of insanity upon seeing this.

Jimmy Yates: Oh my GOD!!

Bryan Harris: Maybe X-Calibur is going to be the one to lose the shortest World Title match in LEGACY history!!

Alan Ducard: Well I haven’t seen yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the top of X-Calibur’s head was split open from that impact with either the bar or the concrete steps.

Crash gets up to his feet, a bit sore from landing on a few of the steps himself after tossing X-Calibur up and over, but he manages to straighten himself out nonetheless. Looking back at X-Calibur, Crash lets out a laugh as he surveys the damage he’s done. Grabbing a plastic cup full of beer from one of the fans standing close by, Crash downs the sixteen ouncer in just one and a half gulps.

Jimmy Yates: A bit of liquid courage, perhaps?

Bryan Harris: HARDLY! More like a chance to relax a bit and refocus on what his gameplan is! Crash knows what he needs to do, he’s got all the tools it’s going to take to beat X-Calibur, now he just needs to quiet any sort of outside influence and just get to it!

Alan Ducard: Perhaps it’s much like a singer or guitarist or drummer in a rock and roll band taking a drink in the midst of a set during a live gig.

Bryan Harris: Yeah, kinda like that.

Throwing the empty cup down at X-Calibur, he grabs X by the head and brings him to his feet. Wincing in pain, X-Calibur tries to fight off Crash, but to no avail Crash hip tosses X-Calibur up higher in the ascension of the stairs, listening to his body smack against the sharp edges of the steps and obstructing poles of the railing. Either not thinking clearly or thinking perfectly clear, Crash drops a leg down hard against X-Calibur’s skull, causing his own leg to smack against the rough edge of the step. Yelling out a slew of profanities, Crash remains on the step for a few moments, listening to the crowd become unglued for both men.

Jimmy Yates: This is a brutal match so far, but personally I’d like to see it get back into the ring sometime soon…

Bryan Harris: Yeah? ‘Cause I’m enjoying watching X-Calibur get his ass kicked here in the crowd…

After a few moments, X-Calibur uses the steel railing to help himself up, which Crash emulates in his own right. Both competitors turn towards one another and for a brief moment, there is a look of mutual admiration for the way both competitors are going about this match. Finally, not to be deterred by the aching pains from being slammed against the stairs multiple times, X shoots some fists into Crash’s face, busting open his nose a little bit in the process. Crash meanwhile shoots back some fists of his own and connect square in the lip and chin of the challenger, sending him backwards and upwards some more.

Alan Ducard: After all the damage X-Calibur has taken on the steps, Crash, I believe, is the first to bleed.

Bryan Harris: X-Calibur is damned lucky about that, too, because if he were bleeding, it would be a much bigger injury than just a slightly bloody nose.

Lifting X to his feet, Crash is suddenly met with a straight up kick to the balls, which causes Crash to go completely wide eyed. X-Calibur then looks at Crash holding his privates and mouths, "Was it good for you?" before pie-facing him backwards down the steps, watching him crash and bang down to the sticky base flooring below. Looking to his right, using some of the steel railing to hold himself up, he notices a guy in a black top hat with an “X” on it smoking a cigarette. X immediately snatches this out of his hand and takes a puff much to the delight of the crowd. Directly after, there is an orgasmic look of relief on his face as he sighs and tries to regroup.

Alan Ducard: X-Calibur enjoying his own personal means of relaxation, and I’m guessing that fan will be reprimanded for lighting up a cigarette in a no-smoking venue.

Jimmy Yates: When X-Calibur gets home tonight, I’m sure Catrina is going to have some words for X about his smoking…

Bryan Harris: Ha! At least he didn’t swear! She’s down there in the front row, she might’ve heard it!!

Crash, all cut up and bruised from the wicked fall, forces himself to get to his feet. X-Calibur slowly makes his way down the steps and about six steps from Crash, he flies forward with a thesz press, dropping Crash down to the cement again with X-Calibur on top of him, reigning the fists down, almost with a renewed vigor from the cigarette. Soon after, X climbs off of Crash and looks to the crowd with a great big smirk. Out of breath from the frenetic pace of the brawling, X-Calibur half-way collapses against the steel guard rail that had just been propped back up by the security team.

Jimmy Yates: Maybe that cigarette wasn’t a good idea after all!!

Bryan Harris: I seriously doubt that cigarette is the reason X-Calibur is out of breath!

Alan Ducard: Well actually, the more cigarettes a person smokes, the lower their lung capacity…

Bryan Harris: Thanks, Doc.

Jimmy Yates: Spoken like a true smoker, Bryan!

Glaring at the security team with a look of incredulity, X-Calibur rips down the guard rail again which generates a loud pop from the bloodthirsty crowd. Looking over at Crash who seems to have gotten to his feet again, X-Calibur makes his way towards him but is met with a standing lariat that X-Calibur caught in the ear and temple after he tried to turn to avoid it. As X-Calibur stumbles back down to the cement, Crash grabs him by the head and knees him in the gut.

Bryan Harris: X-Calibur getting maybe a bit too non-chalant, there… He can’t forget who he’s in there against!

Jimmy Yates: As if the cigarette wasn’t enough, that knee to the gut isn’t going to help X-Calibur’s breathing any!

Noticing the guard rail laying on the floor again, Crash turns his back towards it with X-Calibur in front of him in position for a suplex. Crash lifts up with great strength, holding X-Calibur up in the air... holding... still holding... the crowd grows insanely loud at this as Crash motions for them to get louder with his free hand... and finally suplexes him down on top of the steel guard rail, bending it a little in the middle.

Alan Ducard: TREMENDOUS display of strength there by X-Calibur… and he also showed that bit of arrogance, mocking the crowd as he continued to hold X-Calibur in the air.

Jimmy Yates: I was just waiting for X-Calibur to give him a knee to the head or SOMETHING, but it was not to be…

Bryan Harris: The hero doesn’t always win in the end, Jimbo. I think if you didn’t learn that lesson during the Co-Op Challenge, tonight should be the night!

Having enough of the brawling in the audience area, Crash leaves X-Calibur on top of the guard rail and slowly makes his way back towards the edge of the ring apron. Gasping for a breath, he pulls himself underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. Climbing back up to his feet, Crash immediately gets into Porter’s face, yelling and screaming at him to count X-Calibur out on the outside.

Jimmy Yates: Oh, so NOW Crash wants to consider this thing ending in a count out.

Bryan Harris: And WHY NOT? If X-Calibur can’t get up, if he can’t resume this thing… if that vertical suplex onto the UNFORGIVING STEEL guardrail is too much for him, how long would YOU say we prolong the inevitable?

Alan Ducard: It is the rules, so that’s why Klinton Porter is counting.

As Porter reaches a very slow three, X-Calibur begins to stir, although the look on his face suggests he’s not going to be able to move much, never mind make it to the ring on time. Still, X-Calibur forces himself to get to his feet, where he holds his aching back for a moment before collapsing forward in front of the ring apron, clawing at the LEGACY logo on the middle of the skirt. Pulling up with all of his might, X-Calibur slowly makes it to his feet but stumbles back a foot or so as the ref reaches eight.

Jimmy Yates: Come on, X… we can’t let things end like this!!

Alan Ducard: He’s taken quite a beating, and although I believe most of this arena is going to be disappointed if it ends here, I don’t think anyone would begrudge him if he can’t continue…

Realizing that he was about to be counted out of the match, X-Calibur literally dove towards the ring and pulled himself inside just far enough to prevent the count out from happening. Cussing and yelling, Crash darts over to X-Calibur and starts laying into his ribs and back with footstomps and straight kicks. In a fury half-blinded by madness, Crash lifts X-Calibur to his feet and promptly starts to bash his face repeatedly against the middle turnbuckle. One after another, Crash pulverizes X’s face into the thick padding until X’s nose is busted open like his own. Satisfied watching X-Calibur bleed from the face, Crash notices Catrina sitting ringside and flashes a flirtatious wink at her.

Bryan Harris: There you go, Al, now X-Calibur is bleeding and Crash’s nose has mostly stopped!

Jimmy Yates: What a vile display by Crash there as he winks at X-Calibur’s girlfriend!

Alan Ducard: I can’t even say that it’s particularly about mind-games, because I don’t think X-Calibur will find out about the link until he gets back to the hotel tonight.

Bryan Harris: That’s assuming Catrina goes home with X-Calibur tonight.

X-Calibur tugs at Crash’s waist and legs to help himself up, which causes Crash to look around at the audience with his arms up as if to say, "This is X-Calibur?". Helping X-Calibur the rest of the way to his feet, Crash then locks in a bear hug similar to the one he administered outside. This time though, Crash spins around violently, and follows through with X-Calibur all the way to the canvas with a spinning belly-to-belly slam. Hooking a leg right after, Crash digs a forearm deep into X’s cheek.

Alan Ducard: Here’s the count…

One!!

Two!!

X kicks out emphatically, throwing rights and left up at Crash who merely ducks and covers before getting to his feet.

Jimmy Yates: Not even CLOSE to being a three count, and you can see just how much energy X-Calibur has left in him!

Bryan Harris: Only a matter of time, Jimbo…

Crash throws a few more footstomps down on X-Calibur before dragging him by the feet to the middle of the ring. After doing so, he drops a heavy elbow drop square in X-Calibur’s chest. Getting to his feet again, Crash switches it up a little and drops a leg across X-Calibur’s head. Slowing the pace down some, Crash hooks a leg again for another pin attempt. Porter slides into position...

One!!

Two!!

X-Calibur kicks out again, but his punches flail a little less wildly, showing signs of fatigue from the amount of pain he has endured so far.

Alan Ducard: It’s going to take more than that to put away a great competitor like X-Calibur, and one has to wonder if Crash is simply toying with him.

Bryan Harris: Hey, you never know, maybe he’d catch X-Calibur off guard and pick up the win…

Not at all surprised that his opponent was able to kick out of an elbow drop and leg drop, Crash gets to his feet once again and begs for X-Calibur to get to his. Moments later, X-Calibur slowly gets to his and as soon as he turns around Crash raises his hands like he’s going for a double axe handle smash. X is more than aware though, and throws a boot to the gut that stops him in his tracks and doubles him over. Out of pure instinct, X-Calibur grabs Crash by his head and in one swift motions, drops down to the canvas with a DDT, face and front flush against the wrestling mat. The crowd pops huge for the devastating maneuver, and X-Calibur just sits there, recuperating from the physical torture he and Crash endured out in the audience.

Jimmy Yates: Absolutely AMAZING that X-Calibur was able to hit that DDT… I don’t know where he gets that extra energy reserve.

Alan Ducard: It’s all about trying to get that championship, Jimmy. I don’t know the extent of the damage X-Calibur has taken thus far, but you have to think he’s going to do whatever it takes to bring home that gold, because if he doesn’t, it might be a while before he gets another opportunity at it!

Finally, after several moments, X-Calibur pulls himself up and over, covering Crash with a lateral press. Pressing the point of his elbow into the swollen, busted up nose of Crash, X-Calibur rams down hard on it as Porter administers the count.

One!!

Two!!

With great force, Crash uses all of his upper body strength to military press X-Calibur off of him and back towards Porter, missing landing on him by mere inches.

Bryan Harris: Before either of you says a damn thing, that two count was ONLY as close to being a “three” as it was because Crash knew he could milk the count and get an extra part of a second to rest. He’s got this all in hand, no need to think otherwise.

Alan Ducard: Well if that’s the case, it was a gamble, for sure… One that I wouldn’t take with such an esteemed prize on the line.

Crash up to a seated position, he holds his head from the vicious DDT X-Calibur nailed him with. X-Calibur meanwhile has gotten to his feet and measures up Crash. Running into the ropes, X-Calibur sprints off of the rebound and raises a knee with the point of it dead level with the back of Crash’s head. With a sickening collision of knee meeting skull, X-Calibur trips up again and falls awkwardly into the ropes, as Crash sits there completely starry eyed after the sickening blow to the head. The crowd loses it again, as X-Calibur uses the ropes to hold himself up to a (shaky) vertical base.

Jimmy Yates: That’s some SERIOUS impact, especially following that DDT! Crash’s ears HAVE to be ringing!!

Bryan Harris: X-Calibur not going for the pinfall… maybe he doesn’t want to be another new champion crowned tonight after all!

Alan Ducard: Well whatever the case, these fans are loving it!!

X-Calibur holds the point of his knee for a brief period, having twinged it a little after the sudden impact of his mow down strike against Crash’s head. Seeing Crash still sitting up but half-knocked out, X-Calibur places his boot on Crash’s forehead and lightly pushes him back, watching him fall against the canvas. Seizing the moment, X-Calibur drops down and hooks a leg deep, with his back resting on Crash’s abdomen and both legs hook Crash’s left leg as tightly as he can.

One!!

Two!!

THR- NO!!

X-Calibur sighs with disappointment as he shakes his head, thinking he had the match, and championship, won.

Bryan Harris: Come on, do these fans actually think that’s all it’s going to take to beat Crash with that World Championship on the line?! Talk about unrealistic… Hooking the legs tightly isn’t going to do it, I don’t care how hurt Crash looks.

Alan Ducard: Well X-Calibur is certainly realizing that.

X-Calibur grabs Crash’s head and attempts to pull the big man to his feet, but with him being barely conscious it proves to be a difficult task. Finally, X-Calibur manages to bring Crash up to his feet fully. Going behind Crash with a rear waist lock, X goes to lift Crash with a German suplex. After two tries, on the second, X is able to do so and delivers a low rise German suplex to Crash with a pinning bridge. Porter checks Crash’s shoulders...

One!!

Two!!

Crash kicks out somehow again, and X-Calibur collapses to the mat. Both men’s body look ravage, but the fight ahead of them seems to be long as neither men stay down.

Jimmy Yates: Where does X-Calibur get the energy to hold up into a bridge?!

Bryan Harris: Don’t go anointing X-Calibur as some freak of nature just yet… that wasn’t exactly the strongest bridge I’ve ever seen.

Grabbing Crash by his head, X-Calibur pulls him to his feet again. This time, he sets him up for a piledriver. Heaving Crash’s body upwards into the air, X goes to fall down with it but Crash kicks his legs out, causing him to fall down and away from X-Calibur’s grasp. With X-Calibur still trying to connect with the piledriver, Crash uses this opportunity to send X-Calibur up into the air. Holding X-Calibur by his feet, Crash uses a tricky balancing motion to snap X-Calibur down onto the mat with a see-saw spinebuster. Falling to one knee in exhaustion over both men’s efforts, Crash pounds the mat with one fist, refusing to stay down or give up on the fight.

Crawling over to X-Calibur, Crash lays down on top of the challenger as Porter is again in proper position for the count...

One!!

Two!!

SHOULDER UP!!

Alan Ducard: Now it’s Crash with an extra reserve of strength and energy, and I don’t quite know where that spinebuster came from.

Bryan Harris: That’s what veteran champions can do, Al. They find ways to win. They find ways to keep going. They find ways to turn things around when they have to!

Crash and X-Calibur both scratch and claw their way to their feet at the same time, but it is Crash who holds the upper hand. Bringing X-Calibur more towards the center of the ring, Crash reaches down for a moment to collect himself. Then, with three short bursts of oxygen, Crash lifts up from underneath X-Calibur in a military press position. Holding him there for a good few moments, Crash then manipulates X-Calibur’s body so that he falls down forward, legs first in front of Crash into a sickening elevated spinebuster. The crowd clamors once more, sending the building into a classic chant heard often after high impact maneuvers.

Crowd: "LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE!"

Crash drops down to the mat again, and with an exhausted look on his face, he covers X-Calibur and hooks BOTH legs...

ONE!!

TWO!!

THR- NO!

Jimmy Yates: NO! One hell of a spinebuster, but NO! X-Calibur lives to keep fighting, to keep striving to find a way to take home that gold.

Bryan Harris: All the effort in vain, Jimbo… and right now, X-Calibur needs to find a way to get back on the offensive if he wants a chance to put Crash away.

Alan Ducard: All it could take would be one move, Bryan, if X-Calibur can hit that X-Terminator…

Bryan Harris: IF!! That’s a HUGE “IF”! You think Crash isn’t looking to block the X-Terminator? You’d be crazy…

A frustrated look strewn upon his face, Crash once again starts bringing X-Calibur to his feet as a "Lets-go-X!" chant break out in the arena. Shaking his head at the audience, Crash defiantly makes a motion to the crowd that he was going for the Aero Zeppelin Driver... but SECONDS after Crash does this, X-Calibur lifts Crash’s legs out from underneath him and sends him to the mat. Wrapping Crash’s legs up in a Texas Cloverleaf, X-Calibur screams with rage to try and turn over Crash onto his stomach. After much support from the crowd, X-Calibur manages to do it, and he wrenches WAY BACK on it, fully locking in the signature submission hold.

Alan Ducard: X-Calibur continues applying the pressure even harder now as Crash screams out in agony... and listen to these fans! They want this thing to end right here and now!

Bryan Harris: They can keep screaming "TAP! TAP! TAP!" all night long, but Crash will continue to refuse to give in. Bank on it!

Crash uses all of his remaining strength to pull himself closer to the ropes. Inch by inch, he slowly makes his way towards them. X-Calibur continues to hold the pressure though, and like all pressure valves, Crash looks like he’s about to burst as he raises his hand up off of the mat.

Jimmy Yates: Could it be…?!

Reaching out, Crash grazes the bottom rope. X tries to pull him away from it but Crash reaches out one more time and succeeds in grabbing it with his whole hand. Porter starts counting and makes it all the way to four before X-Calibur finally breaks the hold and collapses face down onto the canvas, the blood dripping out of his nose staining the mat’s grayish surface.

Bryan Harris: You might want to worry about your boy losing too much blood, Jimbo…

Jimmy Yates: From his nose? I doubt it…

Bryan Harris: I don’t think that’s only place Crash intends for X-Calibur to bleed from!

Alan Ducard: You might be right, Bryan, because the World Champion looks like his back is hurting but he’s going to get up off the mat anyway!

Forcing himself up to his knees, Crash arches his back, stretching it a little bit as he crawls and gets to where X-Calibur is laying, and Crash flips the challenger over onto his back, then dives in and connects with a hard right hand to X-Calibur’s forehead. Taking a couple breaths, Crash then starts repeatedly sending right hands into X-Calibur’s head, the intensity of the punches and the intensity of the fans booing increasing with each one he connects with. Tiring himself out a bit, Crash swings across with a left fist, knocking X’s face over onto the other cheek, and then Crash sits back and watches.

Bryan Harris: And here… comes… the blood.

Alan Ducard: You’re absolutely right, Crash has succeeded in opening a spot on X-Calibur’s forehead, and depending how much this bleeds, it could be very bad news for X-Calibur’s chances.

The camera flips over to show a shot of Catrina in the front row, and she’s wincing at the sight of her boyfriend bleeding as he lays on the mat. Sliding backwards a few feet, Crash reaches up with both hands and grabs the top rope as he finds himself in the corner, then uses them to fling him up to his feet.

Bryan Harris: Look at that great upper body strength, guys. That’s going to play a huge role in how Crash ends up winning this match.

Jimmy Yates: Don’t count X-Calibur out just yet.

Bryan Harris: Fine, Jimbo, I’ll wait until Crash hits him with the Aero Zeppelin Drive like he just signaled he was going to, and THEN I’ll count X-Calibur out. Deal?

Walking over, Crash grabs X-Calibur by the head and hoists him up to his feet. Reaching down to lift X-Calibur up off the mat, Crash gets ROCKED by a right hand from X-Calibur, who then follows it up with an inverted atomic drop from the challenger which electrifies the fans. The broadcast footage switches over quickly and shows a shot of a fan holding a sign which says “If X-Calibur loses, We RIOT!!”.

Alan Ducard: X-Calibur showing signs of life!

Wiping his hand down his face, X tries to wipe the blood out of his eyes, and he realizes the full extent of the crimson mask. That quick break in action gives Crash a chance and sends a hard forearm shot to the side of X-Calibur’s face which causes him to stumble backwards into the corner.

Bryan Harris: X-Calibur supporting himself with those ropes… he’d be on the mat if he wouldn’t have been so close to the corner in the first place.

Alan Ducard: Crash with a burst of energy, he runs in and connects with a back elbow shot to the head, and that doesn’t look good for X-Calibur.

Jimmy Yates: Yeah, but you can see the frustration on Crash’s face… He doesn’t know how he’s going to put X-Calibur away!

Getting shoved backwards by an otherwise dazed X-Calibur, Crash smirks slightly as he watches X-Calibur stumble a few steps out of the corner. Shaking his head, Crash points at X-Calibur and mouths “Pathetic”, and then turns slightly, out of the view of Klinton Porter. Putting his hand into the side of his tights, Crash pulls it out wearing a pair of brass knucks. The fans who can see it start booing, but as Crash is a bit doubled over, Klinton Porter can’t see it. Backing up a couple steps, Crash looks over his shoulder, spots X-Calibur, and then swings hard, right for X-Calibur’s head… BUT X-CALIBUR BLOCKS IT!!

X turns… reaches up…!

HANDS AROUND CRASH’S NECK…

X-TER....

NO!!!

Jimmy Yates: A block of the brass knucks by X, but he can’t connect with the X-Terminator!

Bryan Harris: Yeah, Crash had that well scouted!!

Grabbing X-Calibur around the waist, Crash lifts him up off the mat as if to go for an atomic drop, but he just takes a step forward and then falls straight back, driving X-Calibur’s back and neck down onto the mat with a thud. Rolling over, Crash gets to his knees, looks at X-Calibur’s mostly lifeless body, and just smirks at the crowd.

Alan Ducard: That is the look of a champion who believes he’s got things well in hand to retain his belt.

Jimmy Yates: I think he might be looking a little too confident.

Bryan Harris: Why, because X-Calibur is fighting to get back to his feet?! Come on, he’s OUT! It’s like a chicken running around with its head cut off! Just because X-Calibur is able to stand doesn’t mean he’s going to be able to fight, let alone mount a comeback!!

With X-Calibur standing dazed, Crash laughs as he gets up off the mat, looking at his half unconscious opponent. Even as Crash takes X-Calibur by the wrist, there’s no sign of coherence by X-Calibur, just an emotionless crimson mask. Pulling X-Calibur in with all his might, Crash goes for the short-arm clothesline… BUT X-Calibur ducks underneath it!!

Crash turns around to locate his opponent…

X-Calibur turns slightly… reaches back…

HE GRABS CRASH AROUND THE NECK….

X-TERMINATOR!!!

THE FANS GO APE-SHIT!!

Jimmy Yates: I can’t believe it! I thought X-Calibur was out!! Where did he come up with that?!

Alan Ducard: Well both men are on the mat now…

Jimmy Yates: X-Calibur’s moving! He’s crawling over… he’s going for the pinfall! THERE IT IS! HE GETS HIS ARM ACROSS CRASH!!

ONE!!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Klinton Porter gets to his knees and signals for the bell and calls for the belt as the fans go insane.

Josephina Colbert: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…

The fans quiet down just slightly, looking to hear the phrase they’ve been waiting to hear ever since Crash won the belt.

Josephina Colbert: …and NEEW!! LEGACY WORLD CHAMPION…. X-CALIBUR!!!!!

Bryan Harris: No... it... it can’t be...

Alan Ducard: But in fact it is, Bryan. Like him or not, X-Calibur is the NEW World Champion of LEGACY and he just put up one hell of a bloody fight to become just that! Literally!

Jimmy Yates: Finally, he reached down... and did what he’s been telling people he can do all along. Beat Crash one on one. Beat Crash when the chips are down and everything is on the line. Like analysts spoke of Michael Phelps after winning in Beijing... it takes one kind of athlete to win the gold... and it takes an entirely different kind of athlete to win the gold when it’s expected of him.

Bloodied and battered, X-Calibur pulls himself up off of the mat using the ropes. Klinton Porter then walks back into the ring with the LEGACY World Championship, and approaches X-Calibur with it. Handing it to X-Calibur, X rips it right out of his hands with a certain level of fierceness. Standing on his own power, blood soaking his face and staining the gold color in his tights, X-Calibur holds the championship out in front of him for a moment and closes his eyes.

Alan Ducard: X-Calibur savoring the moment…

Then, in a moment of realization, X-Calibur looks out at the audience with the title in his hands. But instead of holding the title up, he shakes his head. Almost looking... deflated.

X-Calibur paces a few seconds, draping the title over his shoulder. Looking directly into the camera, caked with blood and still visibly tired over the match, X-Calibur grabs the camera focused on him and angrily yells, "BULLSHIT!".

Jimmy Yates: Wait, what?!

Just as X-Calibur angrily shoves the camera out of his face, X-Calibur exits the ring and heads to the outside, directly towards the time keeper’s table. Reaching across the table, X grabs a black cloth... a shirt, and rips it from the time keeper’s hands as if he had it stashed there the whole time.

Alan Ducard: Whoa, wait a minute… what’s this all about…

Jimmy Yates: This better not be…

Looking around the audience, people start to quiet down a little bit as X-Calibur, still looking angry, climbs back into the ring with the LEGACY World Championship and folded black t-shirt in his hands.

Bryan Harris: Oh my God... Oh... my God. He’s not... he’s not... you don’t think?!

Jimmy Yates: God I hope not.

Alan Ducard: It can’t be...

In one quick snap of the wrist, X-Calibur unfolds the t-shirt... revealing a big red "D" in the middle.

Jimmy Yates: NO!!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!

Bryan Harris: I KNEW IT!! I’ve been tellin’ y’all!!!

As X-Calibur holds the World Championship up in the air, he also holds up the Diabolik t-shirt as well..

... right before he wipes the blood off of his forehead with it and drops it to the ground. The fans EXPLODE with cheers, as X-Calibur flashes a slight, all-knowing smirk.

Jimmy Yates: ... wait a second? So, he didn’t join the Diabolik? Is that what he’s saying?!

Alan Ducard: Looks like it. I think he just wanted to make a point with that shirt. God knows everyone’s been saying he was going join those blokes..

Bryan Harris: What an ass.

As X-Calibur kicks the t-shirt out of the ring and to the outside, various LEGACY wrestlers all start walking out from the back and across the elevated walkway. Leading the pack if Ron Bailey, followed by Katsuro Yoshida, Kevin Oppenheimer, Jimmy Smith, and Pat Reynolds.

Alan Ducard: Blimey! What’s this?!

Jimmy Yates: Looks like his fellow LEGACY brethren want to pay him some respect for his big championship win here tonight. That’s class, ladies and gentlemen.

Following a short lull in wrestlers coming out, none other than Loco Martinez comes out to a sizeable response to the people who were watching the entrance way and not the new LEGACY World Champion. Behind Loco Martinez is Domination, and then... John Iley, to another sizeable reaction.

As X-Calibur sees these men walking out to the ring, X-Calibur looks on at them... almost with a look of disdain. As Ron Bailey is the first to reach the ringside to congratulate him... X-Calibur turns his back on them all. He turns his back on them all, and starts heading for the opposite side of the ring for the exit. Dropping to the outside mat, X-Calibur walks up to his girlfriend Catrina, who looks terrified, and hugs her.

Not looking back on the crew of fellow LEGACY wrestlers that came out for him, X-Calibur hops over the guard rail as "Harvester of Sorrow" begins playing. Taking Catrina by the hand, X-Calibur heads up towards the exit with the belt slung over his shoulder... not looking back.

Not even once.
