How it feels to
be Special
The scene opens in the backstage area. Andrew Kelley is walking with microphone in hand as he sees Jake Dominion turning the corner. He rushes towards him and yells out to catch his attention. Andrew Kelley: Mr. Dominion, Jake sir, can get I get a quick word with you? Jake stops in his tracks and turns around to see Andrew Kelley rushing towards him. That trademark cocky smirk flashes across Jake's face as Kelley stumbles a little before reaching him and then hunches over a second to catch his breath. Once he regains his composure, he starts to speak... Andrew Kelley: I wanted to ask you a few things. First off, how's the ankle feeling? Jake just stares at him for a moment before answering... Jake Dominion: Let's see, I'm not wrestling tonight, so how the hell you think it's feeling? Andrew Kelley: I know you aren't and I'm sorry, which actually brings me to my next question. Some people have said that it's a conflict of interest with you as Special Guest Referee for Crash's match tonight considering the documented hatred you have for one another, can I get your reaction? Again, Jake just looks at Kelley, making him feel a bit undercomfortable and resulting in Kelley taking a big gulp as Jake responds... Jake Dominion: Documented hatred? Nice. It truly boggles the mind where you pull this shit out of. And in case you weren't aware, there is no love-loss between myself and one half of Team Dickbagery, our LEGACY World Champion Loco Martinez, either. Do you need to do some more homework kid? Jake shakes his head. Jake Dominion: Anyways, I intend on calling this match right down the middle because I hope the front office realizes that I deserve a shot at the next PPV at whoever gets their hand raised in this matchup. After getting screwed outta my World Title shot at the Super Card, and having the Diabolik's lead puppet try to end my career, it's MY FUCKING TURN! You got that?! So expect a great World Title match tonight, and mark my words, Jake Dominion will get his! With that, Jake Dominion turns back around and continues off in the direction he was going, leaving Andrew Kelley just standing there again. World Tag Team
Championship Match
DOMINATION (Murdock & O'Reily) vs el CHUPACABRA © (Cardenas y Rodriguez) Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen, this following match will be our last match before the main event of the evening, but let me just say I’m really looking forward to seeing this match as well. Jimmy Yates: I’m just looking forward to seeing Domination put a beat down on El Chupacabra and taking back the World Tag Team Titles. As you will recall and the fans most certainly do, El Chupacabra heinously attacked Trent Logan and cheated their way to holding on to the belts. Bryan Harris: What one man calls cheating, I call using some brains Jimbo, something you obviously don’t use often enough. El Chupacabra simply took away those meatheads’ best asset in Logan and then showed a little ring savvy, just like last week when Diego outsmarted Ben Murdock. Jimmy Yates: Make all of the “rationalizations” you want to because you’ve got a thing for Hannah Perez, the “goat suckers” have some serious payback coming to them in this match. The camera moves from the announce crew over to the middle of the ring, where the lovely Josephina Colbert stands ready to announce the combatants after recognizing a few whistles from the crowd. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is for the LEGACY World Tag Team Championships and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, the challengers, accompanied by Trent Logan … Doooooooominaaaaaation! The ominous opening notes of “Fear” by Disturbed hit the PA system, and the MGM crowd begins to rise up in support of the former champions. Fear something again! As those works echo through the arena, Domination appears before the crowd, dressed in black “Logan’s guns” t-shirts being lead to the ring by the impeccably dressed Trent Logan. There is no pause in their step as they hit the ring full steam ahead, raising their arms to the crowd. Trent gives a bit of a smile to Josephina who welcomes him back, having been unable to do so last Strife. Finally, Domination’s theme ends, and Josephine rolls her eyes, knowing exactly what was going to happen when she went to introduce the champions. Suddenly a voice rings out, not from Josephina Colbert. Voice: And now presenting the two men who will continue to reign over the Tag Team Division after tonight is over… Recognizing Hannah Perez’s voice, the fans immediately begin a huge chorus of booing a moment before Santana’s “Oye Como Va” starts playing over the speakers. Carrying a microphone in hand, Hannah steps through the curtain, and in addition to some extra booing, there are also a few members of the Vegas crowd who whistle at her, appreciating her low-cut shiny silver top and her black skirt. Bryan Harris: WOW, Hannah looks GREAT tonight, even better than I imagined she would! Jimmy Yates: That hair, that outfit, that makeup… she fits right in with the other showgirls here in Vegas… and I don’t know if that’s a good thing. Bryan Harris: Not unless you like looking at pretty women. Alan Ducard: On this one, I’m going to have to agree with Bryan. Bryan Harris: Would you look at that? Big Al does have taste after all!! Standing at the point on the stage where the elevated walkway begins, Hannah glares at Domination and Trent Logan, who all remain in the ring, now leaning over the ropes, waiting for their opponents. Lifting the microphone, Hannah continues to announce her team’s entrance. Hannah Perez: Here they are, the Tag Team Champions of the World… Hector Rodriguez…. And the MASTER of No Limits… Diego DE Cardenas…. El… Chupaaaaaa-Cabrrrrra!!!! As the booing showers down upon El Chupacabra, Hector is the first of the two through the curtain, wearing a pair of black cargo pants, a leather poncho and a black leather cowboy hat. When he walks past the camera, the championship belt is visible where the poncho is split on the side, as Hector wears the title around his waist. Bryan Harris: Just listen to the wonderful job Hannah Perez is doing at heralding the arrival of the champs! She should’ve gotten the job instead of Josephina Colbert in the first place! Alan Ducard: She certainly has her own style of doing things. Jimmy Yates: I’m not too sure it’s exactly professional… Bryan Harris: What would you know about “professional” Jimbo? Once Hector has joined Hannah at the edge of the elevated walkway to the ring, they both step aside to either side of the walkway and Diego walks through the curtain, wearing a bandana over his mouth like a bandana, his signature shirt, and a pair of black board shorts with red and green accenting. Jimmy Yates: Think Diego could’ve stalled any longer? It’s not like those butterflies in his stomach are going to go away…. Bryan Harris: You think Diego was stalling?! He was just giving Murdock and O’Reily another minute to stand there and believe that they actually have a chance at winning this thing! Jimmy Yates: Well I don’t think they are going to be standing any longer, and the fun and game are over for El Chupacabra! Both RAGE and VENOM take off from the ring and storm up the walkway towards the champions and immediately attack. RAGE goes for Diego, looking for a bit of revenge from their previous singles contest, but also to match up VENOM with Hector to maintain the power advantage. RAGE fires of a series of hard right hands to Diego and then knees Cardenas in the gut, doubling him over. Alan Ducard: Hector and VENOM seem a bit more evenly matched at the moment but RAGE has Diego up over head and he’s put him into a gorilla press and … there’s a gorilla press drop over the top rope and inside the ring! Jimmy Yates: What an impressive display of strength to open this contest from RAGE, but he’s not done yet as he heads inside the ring after Diego. Bryan Harris: Well, what else do you expect from the meatheads? They can throw their weight around, but just wait until El Chupacabra makes them actually wrestle! Oh great now what’s going on here? Alan Ducard: VENOM has gained the upperhand on Hector with a massive left hook, and he’s got Hector up and there’s a body slam on the walkway! VENOM pulls Hector to his feet and he’s scooping him over his shoulder for the powerslam or a driver or some sort and no! Hector drops down the back and delivers a kick between the shoulderblades and … Jimmy Yates: VENOM goes flying off the walkway and into the ringpost on the way down! Damn he hit hard, and now even Trent Logan is over to check on his fighter! Bryan Harris: This match is only a few minutes in and it could already be over with one member of Domination taken out for the time being. Jimmy Yates: Don’t be so sure of that Bryan, Hector is still in the mix, but Diego is in a bad way right now in the ring. Jimmy’s description was almost an understatement. Diego tried to fight back against RAGE by quickly dropkicking the knee, but then his own arrogance got the better of him as he tried to go for a vertical suplex. Unfortunately for Diego, RAGE outweighs him by well over a hundred pounds, and the suplex attempt failed and now RAGE has shifted the hold … Alan Ducard: RAGE has Diego up and … there’s a jackhammer slam on Diego in the middle of the ring! RAGE is going to go for a cover and … Hannah is up on the ring apron jawing at the referee! Jimmy Yates: She’s distracting the official while Trent is trying to get VENOM back in this game! I can’t believe this crap! Pay attention to the in-ring action ref! Bryan Harris: I’m sure Hannah had something very important to tell him Jimbo. Besides, like you wouldn’t pay attention to a woman with that kind of body! During the distraction, Hector leaps into action, and charges at the pinfall, kicking RAGE right in the side of the face, knocking him right off of Diego. Trent turns from VENOM who is now back to his feet but wobbly, and seeing Hannah’s tactics has set him off and he makes a move towards her side of the ring, and Hannah quickly drops down back on to the floor. Alan Ducard: Trent Logan I’m sure has already has his fill of Hannah’s tactics, Hannah Perez and his advance towards her has ended the distraction, but after that devastating kick from Hector, it might be too little, too late. Diego is up to his feet and he kicks at RAGE’s head. RAGE is, down on his rear trying to sit up and here comes the former No Limits Champion off the ropes and there’s a dropkick right to RAGE’s face. Bryan Harris: I’m surprised any offense to the head hurts these guys seeing how thick their skulls are. Jimmy Yates: For Pete’s sake would you stop! Bryan Harris: Who’s Pete? Diego comes off the ropes quickly once mover and hits a rolling neck snap (think Mr. Perfect) on RAGE before pulling RAGE to his feet. He goes for the Irish whip that RAGE easily reverses, but Diego uses the momentum to go up the ropes and flip back on to RAGE with the moonsault! Diego quickly hooks the leg and goes for the pinfall … Alan Ducard: Cardenas has the pin with the legs hooked! One Tw-NO! About a two count for Diego, and Hannah is not happy with that result and she’s yelling to Diego to keep on him. Bryan Harris: It’s smart to tell him that. Diego has to keep on him or RAGE could get back to a vertical base and try and use his power. Jimmy Yates: Diego’s managed to keep it neutralized since RAGE’s pin attempt, but this crowd is already starting to get behind the challengers with a growing “RAGE” chant! Diego drops behind RAGE to apply a chinlock, and then drive his knee repeatedly into RAGE’s back. VENOM, who seems to have recovered from the earlier ringpost shot to the head, is now encouraging his partner to fight off the hold. RAGE grits his teeth and begins to block out the pain from the knee strikes so he can focus on overpowering Diego’s hold. As the fans cheer him on, he gets his bearings and begins to power out, shrugging off Diego and flipping him over his shoulder and to the canvas. Alan Ducard: RAGE is free and should be looking to make a tag here, but Diego is up and already looking to strike back! RAGE is on one knee and here comes Diego … but RAGE explodes up off his knee and clubs him down with a punch-like clothesline! Diego is stunned and RAGE has him to his feet and there’s a hard Irish whip to the neutral corner. RAGE charging in here and there’s a big clothesline in the corner! Jimmy Yates: You can feel the momentum shifting back to the challengers. The crowd can sense it, and is getting louder as RAGE’s assault continues. Bryan Harris: You and everyone else seem to want El Chupacabra to lose here. No one is giving them credit for being the champions, and no one seems to recognize just how truly talented they are other than yours truly, but mark my words, RAGE is foolish for attacking Diego instead of making the tag. RAGE rocks Diego with a “Nash-style” back elbow shot in the corner before delivering a stiff kick to the midsection, which is followed by a good old fashioned boot-party in the corner, driving Diego down to his rear before choking Cardenas against the turnbuckle with his boot. The referee makes the five count, with RAGE releasing the hold according to the rules. RAGE utilizes another five count choke, before scooping up Diego and dropping him face first on the buckles with a snake eyes, and as Cardenas staggers backwards, RAGE hooks him and takes him back up and over with a belly to back suplexes. Diego is dragged roughly to his feet, only for RAGE to scoop him over his shoulder, and drive him down dead center of the ring with a Michinoku-style driver! Alan Ducard: That’s a signature move from RAGE, although I’ll leave it to my broadcast colleagues to come up with a catchy name for it in the coming weeks! However, of more concern than the name right now to us and to Diego is that RAGE look to be eyeing him up with “The Fury” which is a big time clothesline, which is similar to his role in the team’s “Total Domination” finishing maneuver. RAGE charges in here and … Jimmy Yates: Dammit he misses! Bryan Harris: Not only does he miss Jimbo, but Diego ducks and hits him with an unassisted enziguri! He’s going for el Ojo del Aguila and there’s the cloverleaf step and the flip into the bridge and the pin! Alan Ducard: The official is in position and here’s the count! ONE TWO - And the count is broken up by VENOM who saved Domination’s title hopes right there, and he’s in just a split second before Hector can cut him off. Hector though gets a shot in her on VENOM who responds with a left hand of his own and he’s trying to tie up with Hector but the official is getting him back now to his own corner. Jimmy Yates: Oh come on now! The official is getting VENOM back to his corner, and Hector is taking that opportunity to put the boots to RAGE with Diego adding in here, and finally the referee is getting Hector back out to his corner. Bryan Harris: Well Jimbo, VENOM was supposed to be out of the ring first given he entered the ring first. He broke up the pin, but the cost of that is giving Hector some free shots on RAGE. Diego fires off some quick kicks to the head and neck before clasping RAGE’s arm, and then making a quick tag to Hector. Hector moves in on RAGE and pulls the challenger to his feet and lifting him up he delivers an atomic drop, but as he executes the move, Diego moved to the top rope, and leapt off the top, and as Hector hits the drop, Diego catches RAGE with a tornado DDT! Alan Ducard: What an amazing double team move from the Champions, and now Hector makes the cover on RAGE! ONE THRE-NO! RAGE gets the shoulder up and this crowd can’t believe it, and in the corner Trent Logan is smiling at the resiliency of his fighters. Jimmy Yates: Resiliency is exactly how to describe it Alan. RAGE has been in there for a while, and he’s still fighting in spite of some of El Chupacabra’s tactics and some smooth double teaming. Bryan Harris: Oh come on just give them full credit where it’s due, and just look now at RAGE and how Hector his just laying in with a series of punches and kicks in the neutral corner. Alan Ducard: Hector is going to town on RAGE with alternating kicks and punches, and he’s taking advantage of his ability to use a brawling and power offense on RAGE to soften him up, when RAGE has already been in the ring the bulk of this match up. Hector chops RAGE across the neck, and then sends him across the ring to the opposite neutral corner, and RAGE hits hard, almost coming right back out, but he latches on to the ropes to keep his feet. Hector charges in, full steam ahead at the vulnerable RAGE, but at the last possible moment, RAGE gets the foot up and drives it into Hector’s jaw, driving him backwards towards the center of the ring. Alan Ducard: RAGE has stunned Hector, and now he needs to build the offense to make the tag, and here comes RAGE and he clotheslines Hector off his feet, and he’s off the ropes again and there’s a second clothesline. He’s pulling Hector to a vertical base and there’s the Irish whip … no … reversal by Hector and here comes RAGE on the rebound and … there’s a flying shoulder block from RAGE to take Hector down! Jimmy Yates: The fans can feel the momentum shifting here Alan. RAGE is building a head of steam, and the only question now is can he do enough to make the tag. A tag here could totally change the complexion of this match. Bryan Harris: I hate to say it but you’re right Jimbo, it would put the match right back in Domination’s hands, but El Chupacabra has done a great job staying on RAGE and not allowing him to make that critical tag. Coming off the shoulderblock, RAGE pulls Hector up and takes him back up and over with a vertical suplex. It wasn’t the snap variety or stalling to show strength but it got the job done. With Hector down, RAGE pulls the bigger member of El Chupacabra to his feet, and scoops him up and drives him down on the knee with a back breaker. RAGE goes one more time to bring Hector to a vertical base, but this time, Hector rakes the eyes, and grabs RAGE while motioning to Diego. Alan Ducard: It looks like there’s going to be another double team coming and Hector going for the Irish whip and … quick reversal by RAGE and Diego kicks Hector in the head instead of hitting RAGE in the back! Hector staggers forward into an elevated DDT from RAGE! RAGE is crawling towards his corner as Hector is down on the canvas! Jimmy Yates: It looks like it’s a race to make the tag here Alan! RAGE has the head start but he’s nowhere near as fresh as Hector is even with taking that big DDT. The crowd is cheering for RAGE to make the tag, and Trent is yelling out directions to him … Bryan Harris: Yes Jimbo, but Hannah is screaming at Hector as well, and I’m thinking Hector is going to make the tag and RAGE will be stuck. RAGE, crawling to his corner, looks across the ring and sees Hector heading for his corner. The Domination member realized he needed to do something to turn the tide, and he dug down deep for one big burst of effort and he lunged to his corner to make the tag as the MGM crowded exploded in cheers. Alan Ducard: Here comes VENOM! VENOM running across the ring and … he pulls Hector back from his corner! VENOM now hauling Hector to a standing position and there’s a big right hand, a big left hand, and a wicked head butt! This Pittsburgh native is looking to kick some ass right here! VENOM with the Irish whip and there’s a clothesline, and VENOM sends Hector off with another Irish whip to a neutral corner and there’s a big shoulder charge in the corner! Jimmy Yates: VENOM now wraps Hector up in a bear huge out of the corner and … there’s a bear hug slam! VENOM is jacked up, and he pulls Hector up in the middle of the ring and into the standing headscissors! He has him up and … POWERBOMB! He calls it the Breakdown and he dropped Hector dead center of the ring! Bryan Harris: NO! Hannah, Diego, someone you have to stop this! Alan Ducard: VENOM rolling over and making the cover! ONE TWO THRE-NO! Diego’s in and he breaks up the count! We almost had new champions right there, but Diego saves the belts for El Chupacabra! Bryan Harris: Diego is making the most of the five-count too; he’s off the ropes now and there’s a rolling wheel kick to VENOM, knocking him backwards. Alan Ducard: The former No Limits Champion and current Tag Team Champion now off the ropes and he leaps up looking for the hurricanrana, but VENOM holds his ground, and back up comes Diego now! VENOM is eyeing up the rope and … Bryan Harris: He can’t be thinking of doing that can he Alan? He can’t be thinking about doing that … Jimmy Yates: I think he is Bryan and … oh my God! Alan Ducard: VENOM powerbombs Diego over the top rope and to the arena floor! Jimmy Yates: And here come the “LEGACY” chants! The fans are loving the outpouring of violence as Hannah Perez jumps into action and begins jawing with the referee about what just happened, drawing Trent Logan from his corner, which sends Hannah back down to the arena floor and away from the official. However, this distraction gave Hector a moment without official eyes watching, and as VENOM turned his attention back to the muscle of El Chupacabra, he was greeted with a fist to the groin, and he dropped to the canvas. Now, Hector is back in control. Alan Ducard: Hannah’s distractions have been playing a role in this match, and I have to wonder if Trent is going to become physically involved to take out Hannah. Bryan Harris: Hit a woman? Are you serious? How absolutely disgraceful and uncalled for would that be? Jimmy Yates: Given she set him up to be beaten and taken out for weeks? I’d say it probably crossed his mind, even if he’s going to have that self-restraint. Alan Ducard: Well, aside from the chance for some Trent/Hannah fireworks occurring here, there is a match going on and Hector is in control of VENOM. He’s firing off a second kick to the midsection, and he’s got VENOM doubled over. Hector has him and … Jimmy Yates: Wow … up and over with a gutwrench suplex. There’s not many guys who could take a 300 pounder up and over like that. I’m definitely rooting for Domination, but even I’m impressed by that. Bryan Harris: Hector provides some muscle, and Diego provides the speed and technique, not to say that Hector is a slouch in the technique department. Hector comes off the ropes and kicks a seated VENOM full in the sternum, knocking him right back over. He quickly follows up by coming off the ropes and driving the elbow down into the same location. He pulls VENOM up and hooks the arm and takes him back over with a vertical suplex. He hooks the arm and brings him right back up with a spin, but instead of taking him over again, he knees him, hooks the leg, and spins over with a fisherman’s suplex into a pin. Alan Ducard: The cover! ONE TWO THR-NO! VENOM kicks, out but barely, and Hector is still in control. Jimmy Yates: It looks like a tag is in order, but VENOM isn’t looking too good right here. Bryan Harris: VENOM isn’t looking good, but I think Hector is looking fantastic. With Diego down he’s maintained control of this match expertly. Hector continues his assault after the failed pin attempt, hitting multiple knee strikes before hooking the head and dropping VENOM with a falling neckbreaker. There’s the Irish whip then into the corner with the running back elbow follow up. Hector sends VENOM up the turnbuckles, and then hooking him he takes VENOM back with the second rope suplex. Alan Ducard: Hector has VENOM up into a standing headscissors, and he heaves him up into the crucifix position, perhaps looking for the powerbomb! Hector has him stead and … VENOM goes down the back! Jimmy Yates: Hector turning around and VENOM grabs him and there’s a flatliner! He spiked him face first! Both guys are down, but only one has a man to tag! Bryan Harris: Hannah is trying to get Diego back in the game though so Domination is on a clock to seal the deal. Alan Ducard: VENOM is headed to the corner … and he makes the tag! RAGE hits the ring and there’s a flurry of fists and finally a big uppercut on Hector! RAGE steps in and there’s a spinebuster on Hector! Jimmy Yates: RAGE now with the Irish whip to Hector to VENOM and VENOM pulls Hector back into an inverted facelock and RAGE goes up the buckles and … there’s the big elbow while VENOM hits the inverted DDT! The Gut Check from Domination! Bryan Harris: Diego is getting up on the outside and RAGE is going for the pin! Alan Ducard: There’s the cover! ONE TWO THRE-NO! Diego breaks up the pin! Bryan Harris: Not a moment too soon to save the titles and keep them in the possession of the best tag team in the business today. Jimmy Yates: That’s quite the claim Bryan. Bryan Harris: They have the belts, Jimbo. That says it all! VENOM is up and goes for Diego after breaking up the pin, and Diego dropkicks him in the knee to stall, and Hector gets to his feet, still wobbly, and throws himself at VENOM, clubbing him and sending both men over the top rope to the outside. RAGE goes after Diego and grabbing him, he slams him face first into the turnbuckles. He tosses Diego off with the Irish whip, and on the return, Diego dives through the legs, and then rolls and chop blocks the legs to take RAGE down. On the outside, VENOM and Hector continue to brawl, but Diego charges and sends himself feet first through the ropes, dropkicking VENOM and landing on his feet! Alan Ducard: What an amazing show of athleticism from Diego, not only hitting the dropkick but landing on his feet! RAGE is still down in the ring holding his knee, and Trent Logan is trying to will him on, but El Chupacabra has a double team in effect on VENOM outside. Diego is now on the ring apron and he leaps off with an enziguri kick to the back of VENOM’s head, and here’s Hector off the apron too and both men go over the security railing and into the crowd! Bryan Harris: The referee needs to get control of this thing and get the action back into the ring before someone really can get hurt! Jimmy Yates: Well the fans have scattered and VENOM rocks Hector with a big left hook. There’s another big shot, and the brawl continues! Diego moves back in the ring to battle RAGE, who is up to a standing position using the ropes. Diego runs and dropkicks the knee, taking RAGE down to his knees. Diego moves up the buckles and leaps off, hitting a stiff kick to RAGE’s face on the way down. Diego moves quickly on RAGE and wraps up the legs in a figure four leg lock in the middle of the ring! Alan Ducard: Diego has the submission hold dead center of the ring, and RAGE is trying to fight it off as VENOM and Hector brawl on the outside still in the crowd! RAGE is pulling Diego towards the ropes and … Hannah is pulling the ropes away from RAGE! Jimmy Yates: Here comes Trent Logan! He’s chasing Hannah away from the ropes and around the ring away from the action! She really needs to stay out of this! Bryan Harris: Managers want to win, just as bad as the fighters Jimbo. Sometimes it takes a “whatever it takes” attitude. RAGE finally grasps the rope and the official calls for the break, and as he does, Hector spills over the security railing with VENOM close behind him. VENOM pulls Hector up and tosses him back inside the ring, and goes for Diego. Diego gets a boot to the middle of the back, and he staggers towards RAGE who scoops him up and takes him over with a powerslam, and the crowd can sense that this one is coming to a head. Alan Ducard: Domination is starting to turn it on here! VENOM with the Irish whip to the buckles, and the charge! HECTOR PULLS THE REFEREE IN FRONT OF HIM! Jimmy Yates: That was a totally uncalled for move, and now the referee is down! Who knows what’s going to happen! With the referee down, Hannah springs into action, sliding a steel chair into the ring and Trent Logan grabs her back, pulling the chair from the ring and pushing her down on the outside. However, inside the ring things have taken a turn for the worse. Diego, grabs the title belts and brings them into the ring. He tosses one to Hector who clocks VENOM with the belt, and Diego boots RAGE in the groin and clocks him as well. Trent looks to the fallen Hannah and to the ring with a sneer as Hector pulls RAGE to his feet and Diego goes with the title belt to the top rope and leaps off with a belt shot to RAGE’s head, busting him open and dropping him in the center of the ring. Jimmy Yates: Dammit! They used the belts with the referee being down, and they are going to steal yet another victory from Domination! Look at them. VENOM is down and RAGE, the legal man is being covered by Hector! Diego is trying to revive the referee and he’s dragging him into position! Hannah is up and she’s trying to get the microphone from Hannah to announce her victory! Bryan Harris: Good bye Domination and hello Bushido Buntai! Count it Al! Alan Ducard: ONE TWO THREE!-NO! RAGE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! As the shoulder comes up, the crowd roars in approval! Hector’s eyes grow wide, and he covers quickly again, but this second cover only receives a two count as well. Jimmy Yates: That was a low blow and two belt shots, one from the top rope, and RAGE still will not go down, and he’s … he’s getting to his feet, and here comes VENOM! The referee remains slumped over on the canvas as VENOM grabs Diego from behind, and heaves him up over with a powerful “toss” like a German suplex, towards the ropes, and then charges at Hector and knees him in the gut. RAGE rises up and goes for the buckles as VENOM grabs Hector and tosses him towards RAGE who comes off the top rope with a shoulder block, taking Hector to the canvas. Diego is getting up near the ropes when VENOM and RAGE grab Hector and both send him flying to the ropes into Diego and both men spill over the top and out on to the walkway as Hannah rushes to both of her fighters! Alan Ducard: Domination has come on strong here, and it looks like they are ready to seal the deal! The referee is getting up inside the ring, and El Chupacabra is down on the outside! Jimmy Yates: Hannah’s getting her fighter’s together and they are getting up now, and Trent Logan is joining Domination in the ring, and they are just begging the champions to get back into the ring and … what’s this? They are backing off up the rampway! Bryan Harris: Ha! I guess they decided to say the hell with this one, and they are walking out! Jimmy Yates: The fans are NOT happy with this and neither is Domination! Hell, I don’t think Domination can believe what’s happening here! The referee is counting, and it looks like El Chupacabra is going to be counted out of this contest! Alan Ducard: This is NOT the behavior I expected to see from someone wearing LEGACY gold, and now, yes its official! El Chupacabra has been counted out and has left the ringside area. The fans are booing the result of the match, and Joesphina Colbert announcers it … Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winners of the match as a result of a count-out: Dooooominaaaaaaation! The booing continues as Josephina explains the result of the match's outcome. Josephina Colbert: Because championship belts can not change hands as a result of a count-out... STILL the World Tag Team Champions... el CHUPA-CABRA!! Bryan Harris: They may have won the match guys but not the belts … Jimmy Yates: Speaking of the belts … El Chupacabra used them in the ring during the match, but has left them behind! Hey, Domination is picking up the belts right now! Alan Ducard: And it looks like Trent Logan wants the microphone from Josephina. Trent receives the microphone from Josephina, and the booing fans cheer for Trent being ready to speak as RAGE and VENOM toss the title belts over their shoulders. Trent Logan: Hey Diego! Hector! The three members of El Chupacabra turn around as they are already halfway back to the entrance stage at this point, and they look shocked when they see Domination holding the tag titles. Trent Logan: It looks like El Chupacabra left something behind here in all that haste to get the hell out of this ring and an asskicking at the hands of Domination. The crowd cheers as Diego and Hector look absolutely pissed off, but there's nothing they can do at this point. Trent Logan: Now, we said we were going to take home the gold tonight, and that’s exactly what we are going to do. Now if El Chupcabra wants to get the belts back? Well the goat suckers know where to find us, until then, Domination’s luggage just got a whole lot heavier. With that Trent Logan drops the microphone, and he raises the arms of both of his fighters wearing the LEGACY World Tag Team Titles. Bryan Harris: They better not leave the arena with those belts! They don't belong to them!! Jimmy Yates: Possession is 9/10ths of the law! The Journey
We open to a shot of the trophy case. The light glimmering off the glass doors, and off the titles, and trophies on the inside. As we hear the opening feedback from Rage Against the Machine's "Testify" begin, and swells and howls like a hurricane's wind the glass doors explode and we quickly zoom on the Legacy World Title with "Loco Martinez" on the name plate.... the music explodes as we jump into the second verse: "With precision you feed me Loco Martinez jumps from the mat up to the top rope in one quick move. Match
Crash vs Loco Martinez ©
The crowd immediately begins cheering, excited for the upcoming match. Josephina Colbert: Our final match of the night is set for one fall and is for the World Championship!! Introducing first, the Special Guest Referee… The excitement continues as “Whatever” by Godsmack hits the speakers, and Jake Dominion steps through the curtain out onto the entrance stage. The reaction from the fans gets louder, as they’re happy to see Jake. Standing at the edge of the elevated walkway, Jake Dominion looks out on the crowd there in the MGM Grand’s Garden Arena. Playing it up a bit, Jake tugs slightly at his black and white striped referee’s shirt and shrugs his shoulders, then points at the shirt and points at the crowd, mouthing “I’m doing this for you” before he walks along the elevated walkway towards the ring. Jimmy Yates: That right there is the man who is going to help ensure that we get a fair match between Loco Martinez and Crash. Bryan Harris: Why, because you think he’s going to keep the rest of the Diabolik away from the ring and make sure this is a one on one between Loco and Crash? Alan Ducard: That was the conventional thinking behind naming him the special guest referee. Bryan Harris: That’s not what’s going to happen, and deep down, all of you know it! You all know that this is going to be virtually a handicap match, a two on one with the odds stacked against Crash! It’s not right, it’s not fair, and it’s the second time this weekend that The Diabolik have been treated unfairly, and we saw what happened to Gryffin Anselm and The All Star on Friday… It just makes me sick knowing that Jake Dominion is going to keep Crash from having a fair chance at winning that World Title. Jimmy Yates: Now you’re just being absurd. Bryan Harris: Tell you what, Jimbo, you think I’m crazy? You’re going to owe me an apology in about 30 minutes. Still favoring his ankle, Jake Dominion ducks under the top rope and gets into the ring and walks over to where Josephina Colbert is standing and waits. Josephina Colbert: Introducing next, the Challenger… As Dominion’s theme fades under, it is replaced by the heavy guitar riff which starts out “Here Comes The Pain” by Slayer, and the entire arena suddenly begins a low roar of booing. The intensity of the booing goes up as Tino and Giovanni walk out through the curtain and walk to the edge of the entrance stage. Josephina Colbert: Weighing in at 266 pounds and hailing from Philadelphia… representing The Diabolik…. Crrrrrrrrrrrash!! Jimmy Yates: Oh great, look who it is… Bryan Harris: What, were you hoping they wouldn’t be here tonight? Alan Ducard: Something like that… The crowd begins booing even louder as Crash walks out through the curtain, dressed in a pair of black boots, black kneepads with a pair of red ones pulled halfway over the black pads, a pair of black trunks with the infamous red "D" on the back of the trunks, a black Diabolik signature t-shirt, and a red elbow pad on his right elbow. As he slowly walks along the entrance walkway towards the ring, Crash glares at Jake Dominion. Jimmy Yates: Oh there’s some definite tension between Jake and Crash… and would you look at this! Jake Dominion is actually exiting the ring and getting out onto the entrance walkway!! Bryan Harris: What in the hell is Jake Dominion doing?! Alan Ducard: From the reaction we’re hearing from the fans, they think there’s going to be some sort of brawl, which wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest given the history between these two!! Both Tino and Giovanni see Jake Dominion ahead and get out in front of Crash, who stops in his tracks. Jake Dominion starts saying something to the trio, and then the fans cheer as Jake gives the “You’re Out” motion a baseball umpire might give and then he points with both arms back towards the locker room. Jimmy Yates: Crash’s two goon buddies are being sent back to the locker room!! Bryan Harris: You’ve gotta be kidding me!!! Under what grounds?! Alan Ducard: I believe Jake Dominion is the referee, and if he believes there can’t be a fair match contested with Tino and Giovanni at ringside, he is well within his rights to send them backstage if he pleases. Defiant, Tino and Giovanni refuse to go anywhere, but two more LEGACY referees show up from backstage and get between the trio and the ring and start explaining to Tino and Giovanni that they have been banned from ringside for this match. Pissed off, the two bodyguards turn around and head backstage with the referees following them, making sure they don’t stick around. Pleased with the outcome of that situation, Jake Dominion gets into the ring. Bryan Harris: Well I hope Jake Dominion is happy with himself, because he’s started screwing Crash over even before the bell rings… Crash makes his way to the ring, and once he ducks under the top rope, he moves to the center of the ring and keeps his eyes locked on Jake Dominion as a burst of red pyro shoots up from each of the four corners of the ring. Jake looks amused at the display and then moves over to one of the corners, allowing Crash to move to the other. As the challenger waits in the ring, the lights go out and two gold spot lights fall on the entrance. Soft harp begins to play as an angelic chorus sings beautifully. Alan Ducard: We’ve seen it before, and if Loco Martinez can retain the championship here tonight, we’ll see it again, but this is the first time that this pre-match procession has occurred with the members of Anarchy being actual members of the LEGACY roster. Jimmy Yates: After all this time, I’m actually glad that they’re going to get the chance to compete. Bryan Harris: They’re going to make Loco Martinez look like a fool for helping them get jobs, that’s what they’re going to do. As Loco Martinez's trophy case wheels through the curtain being brought out by Loco Martinez's employees and personal "Keepers of the Grail". Arch Angel and T.Rex look incredibly dapper in their tuxedoes, and white gloves. They carefully bring the case to the right of the entrance and set it, before taking the hand truck backstage. As they flank either side of the case the harp and choir of angels subsides the arena buzzes awaiting the entrance of THE Legacy Superstar. Alan Ducard: For the first time in a while, when Loco Martinez walks out through that curtain, I believe we’re going to hear a fairly positive response from this live Las Vegas crowd. Josephina Colbert: And his opponent… A palm muted bassline and a strong majority of the crowd roars the arrival Loco Martinez. "On another Day... C'mon C'mon!!" Loco blasts through the curtain with a huge cheshire cat smile. Wearing a pair of gold baggy (think Tajiri) styled wrestling pants and black boots, he approaches the trophy case. Josephina Colbert: Making his way to the ring, also hailing from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He is THE Legacy World Heavyweight Champion…... LLLLLLLLOCOOOOOOO…. MARRRRRTINEZ!!!!!! He takes a moment of reflection staring at THE prize in Legacy before he exchanges pounds with both members of Anarchy and turns heading to the ring. Alan Ducard: Just as I mentioned, a very positive reaction for Legacy's World Champion. Jimmy Yates: The ego is still huge, Al... but he isn't nearly as pompous. He isn't as paranoid. He's been affable the last few weeks. These fans have picked up on that, and are in turn embracing THE Legacy superstar. Bryan Harris: Bull. Its a simple matter of, who they hate more. Answer: Crash. These sheep have to cheer for SOMEone here, so they picked Martinez. Loco gets to the ring, and turns his back to the ropes, rolling backwards over the top rope into the ring. Loco turns with a smirk and stares icily at Crash who returns the glare as the two men pace, but not taking their eyes off one another. Jake Dominion gets both men’s attention and tells them that they’d better not have any illegal weapons on them. Neither man moves a muscle, and so Jake Dominion backs up and calls for the openingbell. Alan Ducard: And here… we go. Crash moves right in and tries to lock up with the World Champion, but Loco lets him come towards him and then evades at the last moment, ducking under the tie-up attempt. Swinging his outside arm, Loco drills Crash in the back, then dodges away again as Crash turns around to try to get him. Jimmy Yates: Nice quick moves there by Loco to get things started off. Alan Ducard: Crash moving in for a second time to try to get the lock up… and again Loco evades, this time he sends a kick that connects with the side of Crash’s hip… and Crash tries to get him again, and again Loco evades the challenger, and I think that kick hurt Crash a bit more than the punch. Bryan Harris: And Jake Dominion is enjoying this exchange a little too much! Wincing in pain, Crash gingerly takes a step after failing to grab Loco. As Martinez steps in and tries to capitalize on the situation, Crash turns and grabs Loco, holding him with one arm while he connects with three strong right hands, shaking his leg out to release the rest of the strain on his hip, then connects with a fourth one which rocks the World Champion back a step. When Crash steps in to continue on the attack, though, Loco reaches up and pokes Crash in the eye, momentarily blinding him. With the opportunity, Loco leaps up into the air and drills Crash in the chest with a dropkick which sends him backwards, down to the mat. Alan Ducard: Jake Dominion proudly wearing those referee’s stripes as he admonishes Loco Martinez for the shot to the eyes, and this is holding up Loco from being able to capitalize. Jimmy Yates: Whoa, wait a minute, it looks like Loco Martinez is going to punch Jake Dominion?! Reaching back with his arm, Martinez looks to be going for a punch, but instead of throwing the punch, he uses his other arm and playfully pats Jake on the shoulder with a smirk on his face, then does a cartwheel to the side. Having just gotten up off the mat, Crash dives in and levels an unsuspecting Loco Martinez with a fierce clothesline. Bryan Harris: That’ll teach him to not play around… Standing over his opponent, Crash rains down onto Loco with repeated stomps which catch the World Champion right in the middle of his gut. Grabbing Loco by the head, Crash not only lifts Martinez off the mat, he continues to lift him up off his feet before turning around and slamming Loco’s gut right across his knees. He hits a second straight gutbuster before dropping Loco back down to the mat. Alan Ducard: Shots to the gut like that will definitely slow a person down and make it hard for them to catch their breath or wrestle at all… Good strategy by Crash. Jimmy Yates: Loco’s fighting to get back to his feet, though… Taking him by the wrist, Crash helps Loco up off the mat and immediately whips him into the corner. Running in behind him, as soon as Loco hits back-first, Crash drills him with a knee to the gut that doubles Martinez over. After a huge palm-strike from Crash stands Loco upright, Crash takes a step back and then drives his shoulder into Loco’s gut, then backs up and drives the shoulder in for a second time. Bryan Harris: Everybody wants to make it seem like Crash is a wrestler who relies on his power, but make it known right here and now that his strategy is what’s putting an end to Loco’s title reign here tonight! Jimmy Yates: Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched, Bryan. Satisfied with the state his opponent is in, Crash takes Loco by the arm and walks halfway down the length of the ring, holding his opponent against the ropes. Taking a step back, Crash whips Loco into the opposite ropes, but on the return Loco slides underneath a clothesline attempt, gets right back up to his feet and leaps into the air, connecting with a backflip dropkick which finds its mark on the side of Crash’s face, and the fans go wild with excitement. Alan Ducard: The champion showing his resiliency, and it appears he has plenty of fight still in him! Jimmy Yates: And certainly a lot of speed, too! Crash staggers backwards a few steps and hits the ropes but remains on his feet. Loco moves in and steps to the side and connects with a huge knife-edge chop to the chest which gets a WOOOing response from people all around the arena. A second one gets the same, but Crash then shoves Loco backwards and tries to follow him to the middle of the ring. After a kick to the gut, Loco grabs Crash by the wrist, then immediately takes a quick step forward and does a slide between Crash’s legs, doubling him over as he stands up, still holding the wrist. Putting Crash into a pump-handle position, Loco jumps up, throws his leg across the back of Crash’s neck and rides him down to the mat using his leg to slam Crash’s face straight down. Bryan Harris: Holy crap, what was that?! Jimmy Yates: Just another one of the innovative moves by THE LEGACY Superstar, Loco Martinez! Swinging his legs around, Loco gets to his feet as quickly as possible and begins to stomp down onto Crash’s back repeatedly. He then turns and runs into the ropes and on the return he jumps and lands a dropkick onto Crash’s exposed ribs. Alan Ducard: Quick series of kicks and a great dropkick, and it looks like Loco is trying to keep Crash on the mat for now, faring better against him while he’s grounded. Bryan Harris: You can bet that Crash realizes that’s what’s going on, too! As Loco tries to get back up to his feet, Crash reaches out and grabs him by the leg. Struggling to get away, Loco gets one foot underneath of himself and finds a way to barely stand. Hopping up with his previously-planted foot, Martinez kicks Crash in the arm, freeing his trapped leg. As soon as he’s free, Loco rolls backwards. Jimmy Yates: That’s quick thinking!! Both men get to their feet, with Loco getting up a moment sooner and running towards the ropes for momentum. Crash goes for a clothesline at the last second but the attempt is ducked. Loco continues running and bounces off the opposite ropes, and when Crash turns around he watches as Loco dives down and rolls at his legs. It all happens so fast that Crash can’t avoid it, and THE LEGACY Superstar sends the Challenger crashing down to the mat like a bowling pin, the crowd cheering wildly! Alan Ducard: Another innovative move by Loco Martinez! Bryan Harris: What is this crazy guy doing now?! With Crash laid out, laying face down, Loco gets to his feet and moves over to Crash’s legs. Reaching down, Loco grabs one of Crash's legs and pulls it backwards like he’s going to go for a single leg crab, but then he leaps forwards and hits an elbow drop that nails Crash in the back of the neck, still pulling Crash's leg with him, practically bending Crash in half, holding on to the ankle and grabbing Crash into a front facelock with his free hand, getting a chant from the crowd. Crowd: HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! Jimmy Yates: I’ve never seen a move like that before! It’s almost like an STF, but not exactly!! Alan Ducard: With that elbow drop in the middle of it, I’m not sure exactly what to call it either, but I agree with the fans, it was a spectacular maneuver the likes of which I’ve never seen before! Screaming out in pain, Crash flails his arms, getting one underneath him to prop himself up and give himself some leverage, and with the other he reaches up and forceably removes Loco’s hand from underneath his chin. Finding a hold, Crash grabs Loco by the arm and slings him forward using all the power he’s got, Crash is able to force Loco to remove the grip he had on his ankle and sends The World Champion rolling across the ring. After returning to his feet, Loco moves in to try to stay on the attack, but Crash fires in with a backhand to the gut as he gets up, the force slowing Loco to a halt. Crash gets back to his feet and drills Loco with a hooking left hand that rocks THE LEGACY Superstar backwards. Bryan Harris: Those unforgiving hands of Crash have put him right back into this match! Jimmy Yates: Maybe so, but he’s limping a bit more than earlier! Loco is rocked backwards into the corner with a hard right hand from Crash. Crash takes a few steps back and runs in looking for a clothesline in the corner. Loco ducks and lifts up with a modified back body drop which sends Crash up and over the top rope, out of the ring and down to the floor. The crowd cheers, as Loco watches as Crash stirs and gets to his feet. Once Crash is nearly to his feet Loco bounces off the far ropes and dives feet first through the ropes nailing Crash with drop kick. Alan Ducard: Impressive display from the champion, and he has the challenger reeling once again! Jimmy Yates: It doesn’t look like Jake Dominion is going to be doing any counting… so anyone who was hoping for a count-out finish to this match can guess again! Bryan Harris: Another reason why Jake Dominion is unfit to referee a match of this caliber. Alan Ducard: Jake wants to see a clean finish just as much as the rest of us! Loco hits a couple stomps and waits for Crash to get to his feet. Once he starts to get up, Loco quickly jumps to the apron. Then jumps to the elevated ring entrance, and launches back with a moonsault, grabbing Crash on his way towards the mat, driving him into the floor with a reverse DDT. Jimmy Yates: Loco Martinez nailing a variation on That Warm Fuzzy Feeling to the outside! Crowd: HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! Bryan Harris: And while an impressive display the match can't end out there! Getting back up to his feet, Loco begins stomping on Crash. Lifting Crash up off the arena floor, Loco lowers his shoulders and drives Crash backwards, slamming his back into the elevated entrance walkway. Using one hand to push Loco back a couple steps, Crash musters up enough strength to put enough space between them to step away from the walkway, and then Crash drills Loco with his free hand, rocking Loco backwards and spinning him around. Alan Ducard: That was a phenomenal right hand from Crash. Bryan Harris: Yeah, no kidding, Al. And check this out! Grabbing Loco around the waist, Crash lifts Martinez up off his feet, pivots, and then crotches Loco by dropping him with one leg on either side of the security guardrail. Backing up a couple steps, Crash lets Loco stand there for a moment, and then he charges in and sends a huge, running, clubbing blow to the back of the World Champion, who falls to the arena floor. Jimmy Yates: Loco hit the ground hard… Bryan Harris: Now you can add “shoulder” to the list of places that are going to REALLY hurt tomorrow on Loco Martinez… which already includes his gut and his pride. Crash lifts Loco up off the mat and places him up onto his shoulder, places his hands on Loco and then steps forward and slams the World Champion’s shoulder into the corner ring post. With a look of pain emblazen on Martinez’s face, Crash walks over and tosses Loco back into the ring. When Crash follows Loco back into the ring, Jake Dominion gets in Crash’s face and starts telling him to keep the action inside the ring. Crash doesn’t take too kindly to what Dominion has to say, and he starts to look hostile towards the special guest referee. Alan Ducard: For the second time in the match, one of these competitors looks to be about to get physical with our special guest referee… Bryan Harris: Wait… No, just as I expected, cooler heads have prevailed… Jimmy Yates: OH!! Did Crash just SPIT in the face of Jake Dominion?! Alan Ducard: I believe he did, and that’s not going to help convince Jake Dominion to call this match down the middle. Jake looks to be about to punch Crash, but Crash drops to the mat and covers Loco Martinez, keeping his eyes set on Dominion. Reluctantly, Jake gets to the mat and counts. One… No! Loco kicks out soon after the pinfall attempt starts, and Crash gets to his feet and stomps down onto Loco. Picking him up off the mat, Crash sends Martinez hard into the corner with an irish whip. Crash charges in the corner, Loco Martinez steps to the side at the last moment. Crash hits the turnbuckle chest first and staggers back, feeling the impact. Loco springs to the middle turnbuckle and jumps off. He spins himself around and aims a cross body-block at Crash. Crash catches Loco in mid-air and agressively throws Loco up onto his shoulder, steps forward and plants him with an Island Driver! The crowd erupts in booing, but Crash just drops to his knees and throws his arm across Loco’s chest to go for the pinfall. Jake slides into position and makes the count. One... Two... Thr… No!! Loco places his foot on the ropes to break the count. Crash gets frustrated, thinking the count was slow, and he gets to his feet and starts yelling at Jake Dominion, who immediately starts reminding Crash that he has the power to end this match in disqualification, which both frustrates and calms Crash, who turns his attention back on his opponent. Crash picks Loco up off the mat, backs him up a step and then whips him across the ring. When Loco gets close enough to the ropes, he hops up onto the second rope, springs backwards and throws a spinning European Uppercut that levels Crash. Jimmy Yates: With that move right there, Loco Martinez has given himself the chance he needs to get back into this match, and the fans can feel it! Alan Ducard: The noise level in the Garden Arena here at the MGM Grand just went up about ten decibels the moment Crash hit that mat! Bryan Harris: I imagine that the booing’s going to be almost as loud when they figure out that Crash is still going to be winning this match! Both men get to their feet as quickly as possible, but Loco gets the advantage as he throws his feet forwards and connects with a dropkick to Crash’s shins, dropping The Diabolik member right back down to the mat. Getting one foot underneath himself, Loco hops up off the mat and drops the back of his leg across the back of Crash’s neck. Alan Ducard: Amazingly agile, that Loco Martinez, able to jump higher with one leg than a lot of people can with two. Jimmy Yates: And from the look of things, I’d say that guillotine leg drop hit its mark! As Crash struggles and gets to his feet, Loco Martinez steps forward and quickly places his head underneath Crash's arm and locks him around the waist. Crash senses the Northern Lights suplex attempt coming, and counters it by clubbing Loco across the back with his free arm. He spins Loco around and flips him backwards with a release German suplex. Loco lands on his feet, unbeknownst to Crash. As Crash gets up, Loco comes running at him and leaps in the air, grabbing Crash by the back of his head and pulls him down towards the ground, bringing him chest first across the knees. Alan Ducard: Phenomenal exchange for Loco Martinez, and I’d say the champion just evened things up!! Bryan Harris: Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched, Al… Crash struggles and gets to his feet as fast as he can, but Loco steps in and kicks him in the gut, backing Crash up a step. When Loco steps in and goes for a punch, Crash blocks it, grabs Loco around the torso, spins and throws Loco over his head with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jimmy Yates: Now both of these men are on the mat! Bryan Harris: And guess who’s going to be the first one to their feet?! That’d be Crash… Putting one foot underneath himself, Crash pushes upwards slowly, seeing that Loco is still trying to get up. Grabbing Loco by the head, Crash lifts the World Champion up to his feet, then walks over and sets Loco up onto the top rope. As Crash tries to climb up, however, Loco drills him with a hard right hand, then another, then another, and the crowd bursts to life with cheers as Loco gets his burst of energy. When Crash’s feet hit the mat, Loco reaches forward, grabs him around the head, then hops up over the top rope and goes to the outside, falling all the way to the arena floor as he pulls Crash’s neck across the top rope, slingshotting him towards the middle of the ring. Alan Ducard: Loco Martinez lands on his feet on the outside of the ring, and Crash is on his back in the middle of the ring, choking from that hangman’s drop! Jimmy Yates: Go get him, Loco!! Diving back into the ring underneath the bottom rope, Loco gets to his feet, grabbing Crash’s legs in his hands, Loco spreads his opponents legs, then hops up and hits a legdrop onto Crash’s crotch, getting a big ovation from the fans. Bryan Harris: And I suppose Jake Dominion is going to let Loco get away with that?! Anything to screw ole Crash… Exiting out onto the apron, Loco waits as Crash gets up off the mat, and then he hops up onto the top rope and flies off, connecting with an enzuigiri, sending the fans into a huge ovation of cheers. Jimmy Yates: LOC-ontra Code!! This could be it!! Alan Ducard: He goes for the pinfall, and Jake slides into position to make the count… One... TWO…! NO!!! Crash shoves his shoulder up off the mat! Realizing that he’s going to have to do something more to get the win, Loco watches as Crash struggles to try to get his legs underneath of him, so Loco hops up to the top rope, looks back, sees Crash is almost completely on his feet… Loco leaps backwards into a moonsault… He ends up behind Crash, hooking his arm around Crash’s neck… ICED OUT SUPERKICK FROM DOMINION!!! LOCO HITS THE MAT LIKE A TON OF BRICKS!!! Jimmy Yates: What the fuck did Jake Dominion just do?! Crash shakes the cobwebs, turns around, drops to his knees and hooks Loco’s leg. There’s a huge grin on the face of both Crash and Dominion as Jake counts the pinfall attempt, the crowd absolutely silent. One. Two. Three. The booing starts from all over the arena as Jake Dominion calls for the bell. Crash gets up from the mat as the result is announced. Josephina Colbert: The winner of this match and new LEGACY World Champion… Crash! Alan Ducard: I just… I don’t understand it… Bryan Harris: Oh just give it a moment, you will… After Jake Dominion raises Crash’s hand into the air, Jake walks over and takes the key to Loco’s trophy case from the time keeper, and walks over to the edge of the ring where the entrance walkway is and throws the key to Gryffin Anselm, who has just stepped out onto the entrance stage along with James Win, Tino, Giovanni, and Big Lou. Backing up a few steps, Jake moves right next to Crash, who tugs at his own shirt, signaling something to Jake Dominion, who untucks the black and white striped referee’s shirt, then pulls it up and over his head, revealing a black shirt with a nice red “D” in the middle of it, and the fans immediately start booing louder than they have all night. Jimmy Yates: Ho… ly… shit. Alan Ducard: I can’t believe it. I simply… I can’t believe it. With a huge grin on his face, Jake Dominion embraces the new World Champion in a big hug, both men patting each other on the back as they laugh. Jake lets go of Crash and steps back as Gryffin Anselm steps into the ring, followed by James Win. Tino and Giovanni each push down on the middle rope and push up on the top rope, allowing Big Lou to get into the ring, the LEGACY World Championship belt in his grasp. Handing the belt to Jake Dominion with a smile, Jake Dominion then turns around and proudly hands the belt to Crash as red and black balloons fall from the rafters of the Garden Arena. Jimmy Yates: This is the darkest day in the entire history of this organization… Alan Ducard: I just… I refuse to believe that Jake Dominion… after everything that has happened… Bryan Harris: Yeah, Al, I hear what you’re saying, and you’ve got a lot of questions, I’m sure, the answers to which I already know, but time is short here tonight, so you’re going to have to just sit back, enjoy these celebrations as much as you can, and on STRIFE 34? You’ll get those answers. Every single member of The Diabolik have huge smiles on their faces, celebrating with the newly crowned champion, kicking around the red and black balloons. T-Rex and Arch Angel, who came out from the back as soon as the balloons started coming down, help put Loco Martinez up onto the entrance walkway. Backing up, the duo look disgustedly at what’s going on in the ring, taking Loco back to the entrance stage. That’s the parting shot of the pay per view footage. |
