Cage Match
Jake Dominion vs Crash

Mark Perletta: Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time for an all out war to begin here in New Orleans, as former tag team partners meet inside of a fifteen -foot-high steel cage!

Joey C: Well, it was a pairing doomed for the start! When you put a man with so much raw talent as Crash with a big mouth like Jake Dominion, it won’t last. Eventually, Crash is going to have to dump the dead weight and realize his full potential.

Landon Savage: There’s no doubt that Crash is supremely talented, and with the Diabolik backing him he could hold the LEGACY Title in the near future, but let’s not discount the abilities of Jake Dominion.

Mark Perletta: This all began with a brutal beating, and now it just might end with one here tonight. Let’s send things over to Josephine Colbert to get this match underway.

The camera shifts over to Josephina who is dressed in a classic, little black dress for the evening’s events. She stands inside of the cage with a bit of a nervous look on her face. She wants out before the fireworks, almost as bad as the Diabolik would want inside. She brings the microphone to her lips, and we are on our way as “Speak” by Godsmack hits the PA system. Immediately the fans know what is coming, and the jeering begins.

Josephina Colbert: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall and will be contested inside the confines of a steel cage! A victory can be earned by pinfall or submission. Introducing first, weighing in at 266 pounds, and hailing from Philadelphia, PA, representing The Diabolik, this is Craaaaaaaaaaaaash!

A red "D" forms on the top of the stage, and it stays for a moment until Crash walks out into the center of the D, the red light of it illuminating him. His black tights and the rest of his ring garb provide evidence of his allegiance to the new power in LEGACY, and he’s sporting a brand new black, sleeveless Diabolik t-shirt. As Crash makes his way to the ringside area, he looks up at the steel structure, taking a deep breath and shaking his head, before entering the cage.

Joey C: People, this is the look of a winner, and if you want to show people you are a winner too, hit of the LEGACY Merchandise section of our website or pick on of those shirts up at on of the merchandise stands when you come see LEGACY live.

Mark Perletta: They should be visiting or checking out the great LEGACY merchandise, but I don’t think they’ll be supporting a group that uses betrayal and underhanded tactics to get the job done Joey.

Landon Savage: It depends who you are Perletta. It depends what you value.

Suddenly, the arena lights come back on and Josephina takes a few steps towards the door of the cage, taking a wide berth around Crash. There’s the sound of static at the opening of Godsmack’s “Whatever” and with that noise the arena rises up with a monstrous cheer.

Mark Perletta: Well, you can damn sure tell what these people here in New Orleans value!

Josephine Colbert: Introducing his opponent, weighing at 241 pounds and hailing from New York City, this is Jake Dominnnnnnnnnnnnnnnion!

JosephinA bails out of the cage as Jake Dominion appears at the top of the rampway, and as he stands there blasts of gold pyros behind him as he hits the ring wearing a Plaxico Burress jersey and cargos. Jake wastes no time and takes off towards the ring, and Crash doesn’t wait inside the cage to meet him. Crash leaps through the ropes and out the cage door, and meets Jake at the bottom of the rampway where both men trade a series of punches and the fans cheer on the violence, still hot from the introductions. Jake gets the better of the first exchange, finally blocking a punch from Crash and hitting home with a big right hand. Dominion blocks a second attempt from Crash, and again his fist hits home on Crash’s jaw. Jake then grabs Crash by the back of the neck and slams him face first off the outside of the cage as the fans urge him to continue the assault.

Joey C: What is this crap? This match hasn’t even started yet has it? Someone needs to get some order here!

Mark Perletta: Well, the match not be officially started but these men are already looking to tear each other apart!

Landon Savage: This is why LEGACY is the premiere organization in wrestling today. The passion and intensity of these fighters is unparalleled.

Jake pulls Crash to his feet and lays in with a left, right combination and knees him in the gut and hooking the arms he takes him back up and over with a suplex on the arena floor. Crash is up holding his back, and Jake takes advantage by rocking him with a clothesline to the side of the head. Crash is looking in a bad way as Jake motions that he’s going to slam Crash into the cage again, and there’s a running start and Crash hits again, and drops on the arena floor. Dominion begins stalking him, circling Crash, and as the larger man stands, J.D. charges him and plants, his foot flying up for the Iced Out superkick. Crash turns and actually catches the foot! He goes low on Jake and wraps him up and takes him back up and over, tossing Jake into the cage with a capture suplex! The crowd groans as J.D. slides off the steel, and Crash stands over his fallen body, catching his breath.

Mark Perletta: A big shift in momentum here in the match as Crash stopped the onslaught and has Jake in a bad way now, and it looks like he wants to take the action inside the cage.

Joey C: Which is where this match should have started! This pre-match assault should have never happened.

Landon Savage: Hey, these guys just couldn’t wait to throw down, but since this is a cage match and not falls count anywhere these guys are going to have to get inside that ring eventually, and there’s not a better time for Crash now that he’s turned the tables.

Crash pulls Jake to his feet and slams him head first on the steel steps before scooping him up on his shoulder and shoving him through the ring ropes. Crash quickly follows and delivers a huge clubbing blow on the back of J.D.’s neck. He reaches up and pulls J.D.’s jersey up over his head then and proceeds to just beat the living hell of J.D., using his massive fists as wrecking balls. The fists fly down again and again as J.D. doesn’t get a moment’s rest to get free. Crash finally grabbing J.D. by the neck, scoops him up and with a heave takes him up, aims, and spikes J.D. down in the center of the ring with a Jackhammer-style slam, only emphasizing impact on the neck. He makes the cover quickly as the referee gets in position.

Mark Perletta: This one could be over as Crash makes the cover!

Joey C: Text book cover by Crash … now that’s how you do it big man.

One

Two

Thre-no! There’s a kick out by J.D. and Crash can’t believe it.

Landon Savage: Crash was just beating J.D. down, but I think that look of surprise shows that Crash has underestimated the drive and the resolve of this man who was his tag team partner.

Crash pulls Jake up to his feet pulling off the jersey, and delivers a wicked back elbow to the face, and then scooping Dominion over his shoulder, he gets a running start and powerslams him down. Crash again hooks the leg.

Mark Perletta; Another cover from the powerslam!

One

Two - and again Dominion kicks out!

Joey C: Come on Crash, just end this guy. Hit the AZD and put this punk out of his misery.

Landon Savage: Don’t think he hasn’t thought of that already Joey.

Mark Perletta; That move would end things right here, right now. As much as I don’t like Crash as a person with what he’s done, there is no denying that move is DEVASTATING.

Crash pulls Jake to his feet, double underhooks the arms, and flips him back up and over with the butterfly suplex. He then brings J.D. to his feet by the hair, and scoops him up, looking for the AZD! Suddenly, J.D. hammers Crash, and drops down behind him, and in a flash … the crowd roars as Crash’s eyes go wide.

Mark Perletta: ICEMISSION! ICEMISSION! J.D.’S LOCKING IT ON!

Joey C: NO! Crash fight it … fight it now!

Landon Savage: The AZD could have done it and now the Icemission has a chance to finish this!

Crash flails about with his free arm as J.D.leaps to add weight and try to take Crash to the canvas! Crash is fading fast and knows if he goes down its’ over. Taking a risk, Crash actually moves into the choke, lifting Jake off his feet, and leaps backwards slamming Jake hard into the turnbuckles, and managing to free himself to the disappointment of the fans who boo the escape. Jake doesn’t let him down for long though, and he recovers faster than Crash, and moves up the turnbuckles behind Crash as he goes to stand, and from the top rope J.D. leaps and flips in the air, and drives Crash down into the canvas with a version of a necksnap/cutter! Jake quickly pushes himself to the pin, and covers Crash!

Mark Perletta: A beautiful high risk move pays off for Jake! Dominion hooking the leg here for the …

One

Two

Th-No! Crash kicks out before the three count is made.

Joey C: He’s showing everyone why he is truly destined for greatness Perletta. Jake Dominion could never have kicked out of a move like that from Crash.

Landon Savage: Jake already kicked out of some impressive offense Joey, and now that Jake is on the offensive we are going to see just how tough Crash really is, and without the rest of the Diabolik to save him.

Dominion is up to his feet and he carefully pulls Crash up and hits a hard shot to the jaw and follows it up with a hard chop across the chest. Jake then tries the Irish whip which Crash reverses. J.D. comes back on the rebound and takes to the air and takes Crash off his feet with the flying forearm shot! Crash tries to get up as quick as he can, but J.D. is already waiting for him. There’s a boot to the gut, and Jake spins around and plants Crash with a jump swing DDT! Crash is in serious trouble, as Jake begins heading up the buckles, and one there he quickly leaps off, dropping the leg on Crash’s throat! J.D. rolls over on Crash again to go for the pin.

Mark Perletta: Another pin attempt by J.D., and he’s got that leg hooked tight!

One

Two

Thre-No! Again Crash kicks out, but Jake is definitely utilizing that high risk offense well in this contest.

Joey C: Never mind that that Mark, what about Crash’s toughness that Landon over here wanted to doubt just a moment ago.

Landon Savage: Joey, all I said was he had to prove it, just like the other superstars here in LEGACY.

Mark Perletta: He didn’t get the pinfall, but Jake is still in control here, and here’s Jake off the ropes, and he drives the elbow down into Crash’s head, and he’s brining it back to a vertical base. Dominion moving in here, spinning, turning, and hitting the neckbreaker. J.D. is softening up that neck in case he gets the chance to go for The Icebreaker.

Joey C: A decent enough move, but there’s nothing like the AZD Perletta.

Landon Savage: You can both tout those moves, but neither one of them could finish this match. This match is inside a steel cage! There is a whole new realm of offense and maneuvers you can use to bring your opponent down.

J.D. quickly moves in behind Crash, and grabs him, again looking for the Icemission, but Crash is ready and flips him over his shoulder. Crash looks to follow with a quick elbow, but misses and Dominion catches him with a hard kick to the sternum. J.D. grabs Crash and takes him up slams him face first into the steel cage! Crash staggers backwards and as he does, he eats an Iced Out superkick for his troubles!

Mark Perletta: ICED OUT! ICED OUT! THE COVER …

One

Two

Three-no! It was over guys, it was over! I don’t know how Crash kicked out of that.

Joey C: Look at Jake and the look of disbelief on his face, and listen to these fans and their disbelief. They can boo all they want to but it was a fair count and Crash kicked out.

Landon Savage: He may have kicked out Joey, but he’s going to have to find a way to turn the tied here and get back into the match because he simply can’t take these kinds of repeated shots from J.D. Sooner or later he’s going to get caught with something and dropped.

J.D. pulls Crash up and boots him hard in the gut and pulls him into a standing head scissors as the fans are cheering “Let’s go J.D.” Jake looks to pull Crash up with the piledriver, but Crash flops and as J.D. extends, Crash comes up with a wicked low blow which sends Jake immediately to his knees. Crash uses the ropes to pull himself up as fast as he possibly can. As J.D. tries to push up, Crash kicks him in the face, driving him right back down. Crash doesn’t let J.D. sit on the canvas for long though, and he quickly pulls J.D. up, kicks him in the gut, and pulls him to the standing headscissors. A moment later J.D. is up and brought down with a sickening powerbomb in the dead center of the ring. Crash now looks for the pin, and he hooks the legs!

Mark Perletta: A pin from Crash after that sick, sick powerbomb!

One

Two

Thre-No!

Mark Perletta: J.D. gets the shoulder up and Crash isn’t wasting a moment here in keeping on the attack. Crash pulling Jake to his feet and there’s a massive short-arm clothesline.

Joey C: Dominion is out of it and Crash is going to take home this match! Come on Crash, put this nobody away.

Landon Savage: He very well could, J.D. is trying to get up now but he’s wobbling just trying to stand.

Mark Perletta; Crash hoisting up J.D. and … AZD! HE HIT THE AZD ON JAKE!

Joey C: The Aero Zepplin Driver … and it’s all over Perletta, your boy Jake is DONE!

Landon Savage: Crash drops to his knees… and here comes the pinfall!

The crowd that was jeering Crash on the impact of the AZD suddenly begins to rally behind Jake, screaming for him to some how find a way to escape this. Crash roughly hooks the legs, putting J.D. into a ball, and the referee drops.

Mark Perletta: One

Two

Three! - NO! Jake kicked out! Jake kicked out! And Crash can’t believe it!

Joey C: Crash? Crash can’t believe it? I can’t believe it Mark … I don’t know how this guy is doing it!

Landon Savage: He will not be beaten tonight by Crash. He’s willing himself on in this match.

Crash pulls J.D. to his feet and punches him square in the jaw before picking Jake up and pressing him above his head, and tossing him into the steel cage! Jake hits the cage, then the top rope, and flops back into the ring as Crash moves in above him, and make the cover, and again some how Jake manages to escape the three count. At this point the frustration is just exploding from Crash and he slams the canvas in anger. Crash pulls Jake to his feet and tosses him off with the Irish whip, but Jake comes to a stop across the ring. Crash charges him, and with an assist from Jake, he “crashes” through the ring ropes and head first into the steel cage! Jake pulls him out and tosses him into the cage over the top rope, and pushes Crash’s arm through the steel, keeping him bent over the top rope. Dominion then takes to the top turn buckle, and begins walking on the steel cage, using the holes in the cage until close enough that he can leap and foot stomp on Crash’s back! Crash spasms on impact, and J.D. moves in behind him and takes him up and over with the German suplex to a pin!

Mark Perletta: Now it’s Jake’s turn to cover!

One

Two

Thre-NO!

Joey C: Now that’s real resilience there Perletta: He just was rammed into the cage twice, stomped from above, AND suplex, and he still kicked out. I’m telling you this guy is the epitome of a LEGACY superstar.

Landon Savage: Both men are Joey, and this performance is why the fans are on the edges of their seats.

Dominion stays on the offensive, and comes off the ropes with rolling wheel kick, taking Crash down, and then pulling Crash up to his feet, he hooks the head and takes Crash up and driving him down with a brainbuster. With Crash down in the middle of the ring, Jake heads to the top turn buckle, and leaps off, dropping the leg across Crash’s throat. There’s a hook of the leg, but again Crash manages to escape the three count. Dominion then looks at Crash, and then towards the cage, and looks towards the top of the steel structure, and with that he begins climbing up the buckles, and the fans begin to rise up …

Mark Perletta: Jake Dominion is climbing to the top of the cage! He’s standing on top of the cage measuring Crash!

Joey C: He’s going to crash and burn Mark … it’s too high risk!

Landon Savage: It’s clear that the traditional isn’t working Joey, so now is the time to pull out all the stops!

Joey C: Here comes the cavalry!!

The booing starts as the fans all around the arena see two large men dressed in black suits coming down the entrance ramp. Anyone who has seen a roleplay with Big Lou in it recognizes them to be Lou’s personal bodyguards. Hearing the crowd’s change in reaction, Jake Dominion hooks his leg in the side of the cage and turns to look. He spots them when they get halfway down the ramp, and seeing that they’re walking with a purpose, Jake makes a decision and before it’s too late to change his mind, Jake pivots and leaps off the cage to the outside, landing a picture perfect flying cross body onto the two bodyguards, wiping them out, sending the fans into a HUGE ovation!

Mark Perletta: I can’t believe it! Jake Dominion just leaped from about fifteen feet up, his head about twenty feet up, risking life and limb, but he takes out Tino and Giovanni!!

Landon Savage: That was a STUPID move, an ABSOLUTELY idiotic decision on Jake’s part, and I hope it costs him the match!!

Joey C: It looks like he’s going to try to finish things up here and now, and they open the cage door for a second time, letting him back into the match.

Jake Dominion pulls the door closed behind him, watching Crash get up to his knees. Backing into the ropes for momentum, Jake Dominion charges in towards his opponent, but as Jake goes for the kick to the jaw, Crash takes a quick step backwards, getting up off his knee causing Dominion to miss. Jake turns around and steps right into a hard left hand from Crash, rocking him backwards. Taking Jake by the wrist, Crash charges forward, yanking Jake with him and sends Dominion into the far ropes with an irish whip. On the return Crash backs up a step and ducks his shoulder at the last moment, lifting Jake up with a back body drop, sending Dominion up-side down back first into the cage!

Joey C: Crash takes a page right out of NASA’s book, just launching Dominion!

Landon Savage: Don’t ruin this match with your idiotic comments, Joe.

Mark Perletta: Thankfully for Jake’s sake, his ankle got temporarily caught in the cage, otherwise he might have fallen down onto his head!

Joey C: That’s the only way he’s been getting through this match, Marky, just by LUCK!

Mark Perletta: I don’t know about that, Joey, I’ve seen quite a bit of skill from both men here tonight.

Staying in on the attack, Crash picks Jake Dominion up off the mat and brings him through the ropes, back into the ring from the apron ledge. Picking him up into a bodyslam position, Crash moves forwards and drills Dominion’s back on the top turnbuckle, then spins around and slams him down onto the mat. Turning Jake over onto his stomach, Crash then crosses Jake’s ankles, locks them up with his leg, then dives forwards and grabs Jake under the chin.

Mark Perletta: STF! Crash has the STF locked in, and this could be it! Pinfalls and submissions count, and Crash is looking to make Jake tap out right here!

Landon Savage: I don’t think Jake Dominion’s smart enough to realize that he needs to tap out to this move! No matter how it happens, if Jake Dominion walks away from this match victorious, the Diabolik are never going to let him have a moment’s peace until they get some revenge.

Joey C: They’d be setting things right, that’s all! It’s obvious that Jake Dominion isn’t as talented as any single member of the Diabolik, so why would they take a loss laying down?

Mark Perletta: No one’s won the match just yet, but to say that Jake Dominion doesn’t have the talent of any of the members of Diabolik… you lose a lot of credibility, Joey.

Joey C: I call it like I see it, Marky.

Landon Savage: I’m amazed you’re not on the recruiting team, Joe.

Mark Perletta: Alright, guys, back to the match… Jake Dominion is struggling, but he’s holding on, not giving up, not quitting, not submitting to the STF Crash has locked in so well.

Landon Savage: Each second Crash has it locked in, Dominion’s chances of having a match anytime in the near future goes down even more.

Joey C: He wants to give up, Perletta, you can see that this pain is beginning to be too much, but he’s got a lot of pride in him and I don’t think he’s going to tap out.

Mark Perletta: I think Crash is starting to realize that too, and he probably only has the STF still locked in because he’s thinking about his next move, maybe holding out a slim chance that Dominion is going to tap out.

Landon Savage: Crash is a smart guy, he realizes that he might be better off following this up with something else… and there you have it, Crash breaks the hold.

After relinquishing the hold, Crash gets to his feet and drops an elbow to the middle of Dominion’s back, then rolls over and gets back to his feet. As Crash tries to pull Dominion to his feet, Jake fires in with a hard right hand, stopping Crash in his tracks. Crash thunders down on Dominion with an axhandle blow that drops Jake back down to a knee, but Jake gets up as quickly as he can and drills Crash in the mouth. Crash sends a kick to Jake’s gut, slowing his momentum. A hard forearm shot from Crash sends Jake spinning sideways, his back now turned to Crash. Sensing an opportunity, Crash tries to move in on his opponent…

BLIND MULE KICK!!!

Crash doubled over in pain, Dominion connecting right to Crash’s midsection!

Jake steps in, grabs Crash by the head, reaches down, grabs him into a fisherman’s position…

Spins around…

ICE-BREAKER!!

The crowd goes apeshit!

Jake reaches back, hooks the leg…

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

The referee signals for the bell!!

Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner by pinfall… Jake… Dominion!!!!

Mark Perletta: I swear, I thought The Diabolik were going to find a way to screw Jake Dominion, but I'm glad the chips fell out this way and Jake Dominion got a bit of revenge.

Joey C: You HAVE to know that this is not over between these two men. You HAVE to know that Crash is going to catch up to Jake Dominion sometime in the near future and bury him through that mat.

Landon Savage: That's the Diabolik style, but for now Jake Dominion gets to celebrate this victory, knowing that he'll be in line soon enough for a World Title shot.

Backstage

The camera heads backstage and we find ourselves outside the locker room area where Trent Logan is standing with Ben Murdoch (RAGE) of Domination. It's obvious that something isn't right as they always appear together on camera, and worried looks are etched across both Trent and Ben's faces. As the camera zooms in closer, we can pick up what Logan is saying to RAGE.

Trent Logan: "Steve isn't well? Fuck, what the hell is wrong with him?"

Ben throws up his hands pretty much giving the "I've got no fucking clue" response as Trent hurriedly throws open the door, and once inside the sounds of someone being "sick" in the bathroom area are very audible. Trent pauses and cringes just outside of the stall area as the sounds stop for a moment. There's a metal click, and Steve O'Reily (Venom) emerges from the stall area standing, but definitely holding his stomach and just looking generally in a bad way. He's pale, sick, and obviously in some measure of internal pain. Logan walks over to him and put a hand on the larger man's shoulder.

Trent Logan: "Steve, I know you used to get like this before our first few matches back when we were first starting, the nerves and all, but this isn't nerves is it?"

Still in pain, Steve shakes his head no, not wanting to take energy to speak.

Trent Logan: "Alright Steve, we don't have much choice but to go out there right now. The LEGACY Tag Titles are on the line. This is some damn shitty luck man, but I have to ask you? Are you gonna be able to go tonight?

Steve looks to Trent and then over to Ben. Ben looked back almost pleading with him. They had come so far in their careers in a short time. They were right on the doorstep, just a three count away of being the best damn tag team in the business. Steve grits his teeth, fighting to make the pain go away, and he nodded to his partner and to his manager.

Trent Logan: "Good, let's go out there and make this as quick as we can make it guys, for all of our sakes."

With that the scene moves back to ringside to our intrepid announce team.

Mark Perletta: Damn Joey, Steve doesn't look good, and we're almost ready for them to get out here and fight. How can they hope to knock off The Diabolik if they are a man down?

Joey C: If it were just James Win or just Gryffin Anselm them maybe, but both of them as the Tag Team Champions? Not a chance in hell.

Landon Savage: Well, let's be sure of one thing. Domination has never backed down from a fight and no matter what both those men will be out here tonight fighting for the Tag Team Titles. Frankly, these belts are worth that sacrifice gentlemen.

John Thomas vs Rocky Stellar

The lights in the arena dim and are replaced with a pale blue light, and a jazzy drum beat starts up over the speakers. A short, repetitive guitar riff is followed by an all too familiar bassline. It becomes obvious that the song we’re hearing is a jazzy remix of “Hey Man Nice Shot” by Filter, and when the crowd realizes who is about to step out onto the entrance stage, the booing rolls in from all corners of the arena. Although the reaction is fairly loud prior to John Thomas stepping through the curtain, it intensifies when he does. From the smug look on his face, you can tell something is up. His hood, which is usually up over his head when he walks to the ring, is down, showing his hair, which is now growing a bit shaggy. As various people at ringside yell things in his direction, John just laughs and continues down the ramp.

Once he gets to the ring, John turns around and lets out a chuckle as he looks at all the fans lining the ramp, despising him though powerless to do anything about it. Hopping backwards, John sits up onto the apron and waits there for a moment, his head and shoulders bobbing to the music, which he is clearly enjoying. Twisting around, John lays flat on the apron and rolls himself into the ring, where he casually gets up to his feet and walks over to Josephina Colbert, who is waiting with a microphone in her hand. Bobbing a bit more, John then signals with his hand and the music fades under, and once there’s nothing blaring over the sound system, John lifts the microphone.

John Thomas: I know, I know… that WAS a great treat, that remix, and you’re welcome! I realize you don’t know how to express yourselves appropriately… this IS New Orleans, after all… so don’t worry, I’m not taking the booing to mean anything other than complete appreciation.

The booing intensifies, and John raises a hand, as if to quiet the masses.

John Thomas: It’s okay, really, no need to waste your energy, I get the point. You love me, who doesn’t.

The booing intensifies for a moment, and as John continues, it quiets down so they can hear what he has to say.

John Thomas: Now I know you’ve all been waiting for this moment, hoping to witness history… but alas, I must apologize. I know I promised to end Rocky Stellar’s career tonight, using that to build my own legacy, no pun intended, but you’re not going to get to see that happen… unless, of course, you were in attendance for STRIFE 25… because if you were, then you’ve already seen it.

John smirks as he looks out at the crowd, which is nearly silent, not sure what to think.

John Thomas: Cue it up!

With a nod in the direction of the LEGACY Vision jumbotron, John signals someone in the back to cue up the video footage from the ending of STRIFE 25. We see Stellar standing a few feet away from Loco Martinez in the middle of the ring, and then John grabs Rocky, spins him around and DROPS him with the sick falling neckbreaker. We then cut to footage of Stellar being wheeled back up the ramp on a stretcher by EMTs. Then we get one final slow motion clip of Stellar being yanked off his feet by John, pulled backwards, bent awkwardly, the move putting incredible strain on his neck. The video pauses in a moment which shows just how awkwardly Stellar’s neck got wrenched from the move, and then we go back to John Thomas in the ring.

John Thomas: This is very uncharacteristic of me, so I’m not quite sure what to do or say right now. I promised you all this great, historical event to take place here tonight, obviously a big reason why you purchased tickets, and then I blew it! I was sending a message to Rocky, giving him a little preview of what he’d feel tonight, and I guess I didn’t know my own strength, because that little message I sent him? It wasn’t supposed to put him on the shelf indefinitely. I didn’t mean to make his last moment in this business happen on some FREE show… even Stellar deserves better than that… but that’s what happened.

The sounds of a symphony springs to life and a modified version of Georges Bizet’s “Toreador” from Carmen plays over the speakers and Smith Cartwright steps out from the back, getting a nice round of applause and modest cheering from the fans. He’s obviously a little embarrassed by the reaction and he signals that they should quiet down. As his music fades under, Smith begins addressing the issue at hand.

Smith Cartwright: Folks, as much as it pains me to say, I have to confirm that what John Thomas is saying right now… it’s true. Rocky Stellar was injured at STRIFE 25, and because of that, he is unable to compete tonight… and for the foreseeable future.

Smith gives the crowd a moment to express their displeasure, but before he can continue, he’s interrupted by John Thomas.

John Thomas: Exactly! I tried to tell them, Smith, but they didn’t want to believe it when I said it, so I’m glad you came out here and cleared that up! Now I’d also like you to confirm the fact that, ever since I heard about this news a couple days ago, I’ve been asking… nay, BEGGING you to replace Rocky Stellar as my opponent for tonight, and although I heard you say that you were committed to making that happen, it looks like you couldn’t find anyone. Not that I can blame anyone for turning down an opportunity to take Rocky Stellar’s place…

Now it’s Smith’s turn to interrupt.

Smith Cartwright: Oh we found someone, alright. We found a VERY suitable person to replace Rocky Stellar in this match, and I think you’re going to remember him…

Suddenly the lights go completely out and a long guitar riff starts playing, and immediately a large portion of the fans start going crazy. The riff repeats itself, and then after a moment the main guitar riff starts playing and we realize that the song is “Iron Man” by Black Sabbath. Lights blare up through the steel entrance ramp, giving enough glow that we can see John Thomas’ shocked expression. We can also see a man as he steps out through the curtain.

Mark Perletta: I can’t believe it! It’s Devastation! We haven’t seen him in LEGACY for almost a year and a half!

Joey C: What the hell is HE doing here?!

Landon Savage: This is quite a surprise! Usually when something this big is on the horizon, I hear about it first, but this… this has been kept extremely secretive.

Mark Perletta: I imagine that Rob Belote didn’t open negotiations between he and Devastation to many other people, especially given the way Devastation left this company…

Landon Savage: Well I’ve heard the back story on that, and it’s really not as bad as it seemed on television, and once Rob got the chance to explain all of that to Devastation, I’m sure things progressed nicely… and I’m sure we’ll figure out more about that sometime in the near future.

The cameras from mid-level in the arena follow Devastation as he makes his way down the ramp, the footage switches twice during Devastation’s walk to the ring to show John Thomas, standing in the ring, waiting and watching. When he gets to the bottom of the ramp and walks over to the bottom of the steel steps, red and gold spotlights turn on, placed at either side of the steel steps, illuminating Devastation as he walks up and gets into the ring. As he steps through the ropes, the house lights come up and the cheering increases in intensity from the fans all over the arena. John Thomas, on the other hand, backs up a few steps and ducks underneath the top rope, gets out onto the apron, and then hops down to the floor.

John Thomas: Whoa, whoa, Smith, GREAT job at getting a big name to step into the ring with me, Devastation’s got quite the resume of accomplishments…

John turns and looks towards the ring, starting to walk backwards up the ramp, looking at his would be opponent.

John Thomas …but if I would’ve known that you were going to get a guy like Devastation to replace Stellar, I would’ve trained for this match COMPLETELY differently. When you said a suitable replacement, I assumed, and rightfully so, that the replacement was going to wrestle a similar style to Rocky Stellar…

John looks down the ramp at Devastation, who is waiting in the ring.

John Thomas: And CLEARLY Devastation does not fit into that category. I’ve been training for MONTHS to face Rocky Stellar, and now all that training would do me no good, since Devastation is quite different than Rocky Stellar, and I’m afraid if this match were to take place, it would appear as though I didn’t train at all.

John starts shaking his head as he reaches the spot on the ramp where Smith Cartwright is standing.

John Thomas: I’m sorry… I’d love to face Devastation on a pay per view event, it would be a hell of a match if we both had time to prepare adequately for it, but since that’s clearly not the case, I apologize, but I’m going to have to decline to take part in this match.

John looks back towards the ring.

John Thomas: Dev, great to have you back, buddy, I look forward to kicking your ass sometime in the future and showing everybody that I’m a better competitor than you are, but that’s not what I’m getting paid to do here tonight, so it’s going to have to wait for another day.

John looks out over the masses all around the arena, who are booing intensely.

John Thomas: I know, I know, you’re upset, and I’m sure that in the near future, Smith Cartwright, here, is going to make it up to you, because afterall, this is all his fault, and he should have to clean up the mess he made. Take care, and good night!

After taking a small, apologetic bow, John Thomas exits backstage through the curtain.

Mark Perletta: Well, I can't say I'm surprised that John Thomas ducked out of this situation, but on the other hand I'm very surprised and glad to see Devastation make his return to LEGACY.

Joey C: Considering the situation involved in Devastation's exit from LEGACY, I'm kinda surprised that he'd want to rejoin the roster, but he is a serious talent inside that ring, so I'm not surprised that the front office would want him here.

Landon Savage: I'm sure in the coming weeks the details behind everything will be revealed.

World Tag Team Championships
Domination vs The Diabolik ©

Josephina Colbert: Our next contest is for the Legacy World Tag Team Championships.

The opening to Disturbed's "Fear" begins to rock the arena as lights dance through the arena.

Josephina Colbert: First, weighing in at a combined 590 pounds… “RAGE” Ben Murdock… “VENOM” Steve O'Reily... They are... DOM-in-ATION!!!

From the back, being led by Trent Logan, the two large powerhouses from Domination step out onto the top of the rampway. They pause for a second at the top, Logan between the two big men, before they make their way to the ring. Determination on the face of both men, but Steve O'Reily doesn't look quite right.

They get to the ring and take off their matching black vests, with the Domination Logo on the back, and handing them to Trent Logan, who heads to the back.

Mark Perletta: Trent Logan feeling confident in Domination, and leaving them out here on their own without his presence this evening.

Landon Savage: A sign of confidence in his tag team... or a test. Either way we'll see how the boys of Domination respond.

"Fear" fades away as VENOM and RAGE loosen up a bit in the ring awaiting their opponents.

Josephina Colbert: And here are their opponents…

The booing starts up even before the lights dim, intensifying as the red spotlights shine down and “The Mirror” by Dream Theater kicks in over the speakers. The All Star steps through the curtain first, and as James Win reaches the top of the entrance ramp, golden sparks shoot out from either
side of the entrance curtain, and Win stands there, motionless, a huge grin on his face.

Josephina Colbert: Weighing in at a combined 340 pounds… they are the World Tag Team Champions… James Win… Gryffin Anselm… The Diabolik!!!!

The red lights make his gold warm-up suit sparkle. After standing motionless for a moment, James slowly unbuttons his jacket, revealing one of the World Tag Team Championship Belts around his waist. After he taps the belt a couple times, red sparks of pyro fly up from the same place the gold pyro flew up a moment ago, and the booing intensifies as Gryffin Anselm walks out from the back, wearing black cargo pants and his “D” tshirt. The other World Tag Team Championship Belt is over Gryffin’s shoulder. Anselm walks past James Win and pats him on the shoulder, headed towards the ring.

Landon Savage: Right now you all are looking at the single greatest tag team in the business today bar NONE, and they’ve got the gold to prove it.

Mark Perletta: They’ve got the gold, but they’re going to have a tough test if they want to walk out of here tonight still the champions, because Domination have been looking forward to this opportunity for a while now, and they’re going to put up some good competition.

Joey C: Fact is, people have been gunning for Gryffin Anselm and James Win ever since they won those belts, and so far no one has been able to even slow them down. They’ve beaten some great teams already during this title reign…

Mark Perletta: But Domination is not one of those teams, and I’m looking forward to seeing how these four men match up with one another.

When The Diabolik get down to the bottom of the ramp, James Win hops up onto the apron and waits as Gryffin Anselm walks up the steel steps. Both members of Domination glare at James Win, but they remain in their corner. Eyeing his opponents, Gryffin Anselm gets into the ring first, and then James Win follows. Gryffin hands his World Tag Team Title belt over to the referee, and James Win does the same. The referee holds both belts up into the air, reminding everyone what this match is all about, and then he walks over to the corner to hand the belt to the ring attendants. Gryffin takes off his shirt and James Win takes off his warm-up outfit, revealing his gold and black ring attire. Once both men toss their un-needed garments over the top rope to the outside, the referee calls for the bell.

Mark Perletta: James Win and Ben Murdock will start off for their respective teams... and can I say, is it just me, or does O'Reily not seem quite "himself" tonight?

Landon Savage: He does seem a little green around the gills.

Joey C: I think the Pay Per View pressure's getting to him. We have, dare I say? A "choker".

Win and Murdock circle one another and lunge, Locking up. O'Reily shoves the All Star back in a sign of power.

Win regains his balance and looks down at the bottom of his boots as if its THEIR fault he was out powered by RAGE. He overdramatically wipes the bottom of each boot on the mat to "clean them off". The crowd reigns boos down on Win, and he shrugs them off and heads to the middle of the ring nodding confindently, now that his boots are clean. He puts his hands up calling for a test of strength. Murdock smirks and nods reaching his hands up to lock fingers for the test of strength. Right before their hands meet, Win lunges burying his thumb into RAGE's eye.

Crowd: BOOOOOOO!!

Ben Murdock grasps at his eye and Win buries a boot in his midsection. Murdcock doubles over and buries a punt like kick into the ribs. Murdock groans and doubles over further. Win takes a step back and again delivers another "punt style" kick to the ribs. This one drops Murdock to one knee. Win nods cockily, and bounces off the rope and with the added force drives a knee into the temple of Ben Murdock. This drops Murdock to the map, and Win throws his arms out grandly.

The crowd meets his celebration with boos. Win looks down and gets an idea, he dashes across Murdock and leaps to the top rope. Balances a moment and launches himself backwards with a moonsault.

Mark Perletta: Going for the Pan-American Shooting Star!

The crowd rises in anticipation but at the last moment, RAGE brings his knees up to his chest. All of Win's weight crashes down onto Murdock's ribs.

Landon Savage: Didn't quite put Murdock down long enough to hit the Pan Am Star!

Joey C: But I like to see him going for it. He hits that move and this could've been the shortest title defense in Legacy HISTORY!

Win rolls around clutching his ribs as Murdock gets to his feet. He approaches Win and lays a stiff stomp to the All Star's ribs. Murdock with another violent stomp. He then drags Win to his feet and levels the Pan American Icon with a stiff as hell short armed clothesline. But instead of letting go of Win's wrist he holds on... and drags Win to his feet. Pauses a second and again LEVELS Win with a wicked short armed clothesline! The crowd "oooh" with the authority that RAGE delivered that clothesline... and he's not done yet! Again, he didn't let go of the wrist-

Mark Perletta: Hat trick of stiff-stiff-STIFF short armed clotheslines.

Murdock gets Win to his feet, who wobbles punch-drunkenly, and Murdock again snaps Win towards him while driving himself towards win. The resulting force from the clothesline turns Win inside out, flipping him backwards. The crowd once again OOOOHHH's, impressed.

Landon Savage: He turned the All Star inside out with that third clothesline.
Murdock drops to a knee, rolls Win over and makes a cover.

Mark Perletta: Can three of the most violent clothesline finish this one?

One...

Two-NO! The All Star kicks out at two.

Landon Savage: And look at his chest! Win's chest is completely red, welted, and well... THAT left a mark.

RAGE scoops Win up and slams him down.

Mark Perletta: The power of Ben Murdock is wearing down James Win.

Murdock drops a quick elbow across the red chest of Win. He then gets up, dragging Win to his corner and tags in VENOM. Steve O'Reily steps through the ropes... still not looking quite right. The two stand Win up in their corner and VENOM begins driving his shoulder into the mid section of his opponent. After a few shoulders he stands up, wraps his arms around Win and launches him with a gorgeous release overhead Belly to Belly suplex.

Landon Savage: Nice overhead throw. Again Domination showing their power.

O'Reily walks over to Win and buries a kick in his midsection. He drags James up to his feet by his hair, and Win drives his head into VENOM's midsection. O'Reily doubles over and winces a little more, grabbing at his stomach, especially feeling the effects of the headbutts.

Mark Perletta: That headbutt further says that O'Reily isn't feeling right. Be it some sort of bug, or some bad dinner... Steve O'Reily is not one hundred percent.

Joey C: Stop making excuses for him!

Win buries a fist in the same area the headbutt was delivered. He then grabs VENOM and snaps off a DDT, planting him into the mat. Win gets up, and struggles over to his corner and tags in Gryffin Anselm. Gryffin steps into the ring and immediately lowers himself into three point stance... STALKING, O'Reily, who is starting to get to his feet, but still wincing and looking incredibly uncomfortable as he grabs at his stomach. Gryffin takes off and levels O'Reily with a shoulder block. He quickly works on the queasy stomach with a series of boots.

Landon Savage: He's a veteran. He's smart. He knows O'Reily's not feeling like himself. He sees the weakness... "Smells the blood" so to speak, and he's going for it.

Anselm reaches down and picks up VENOM, and sends him off the ropes, he charges in after and nails the spear, grabs, lifts and twists driving Steve to the mat with a violent spinebuster.

Mark Perletta: That spear - spinebuster combo could be the end of things!

But instead of the cover Gryffin, incredibly hyped up... jumps to his feet and ROARS!! Throwing his arms out grandly. This draws the ire of the crowd, who begin to boo mercilessly. Gryffin goes to the ropes and begins pointing and yelling at the crowd. Behind him VENOM is struggling to his feet. Gryffin senses this and turns. Charges, but O'Reily ducks.

A HUGE Right hand, rocks Gryffin. Another HUGE right! The crowd loving. One more GIANT WIND UP RIGHT HAND! And Gryffin goes down. Steve O'Reily quickly stumbles to his corner and tags in his partner. The crowd pops, as O'Reily rolls out of the ring and takes a knee ringside fighting sickness.

In the ring Gryffin meets Murdock, fists flying. Rights, lefts... the two stand toe to toe. Murdock finally breaks the madness blocking a right hand, and headbutting Gryffin. Gryffin stumbles back, and Murdock quickly shoots a double leg take down and gets on top of Gryffin pistoning rights and lefts into Gryffin's head. Gryffin tries to cover up, to little effect.

Joey C: C'mon REF! Those are closed fists! Break it up!

As if "on cue", RAGE rolls off Gryffin hops up and runs, nailing James Win off the apron, the crowd loving it. RAGE, back to Anselm, scoops him up and slams him down with authority. Again Murdock picks up Anselm, but this time stands next to him... Wraps his arms up high, intertwines his leg... and launches backwards.

Landon Savage: Nice side russian leg sweep, from one of the challengers.

He floats over and covers.

One...

two...

th-no! Kick out at two by Gryffin.

Murdock drags Gryffin to his feet, grabs him and snaps off a sharp vertical suplex. He floats over again to the cover.

One-

James Win in, and he breaks up the count with a stomp.

Mark Perletta: And here comes the underhanded methods.

Joey C: Its called tag TEAM, wrestling, Marky. They're just being a TEAM!

The members of Diabolik position themselves on either side of a seething RAGE.
RAGE looks over his right shoulder seeing Win stalking. Looking ahead sees Gryffin Anselm with an evil smirk on his face. Anselm lunges and Murdock meets him, the two tie up, but before either one can establish any kind of advantage, James Win dashes across the ring and chop blocks RAGE. Gryffin pops up laughing. Win quickly exits the ring, so Gryffin can reach back and tag Win in. Win quickly jumps to the top of the rope, waiting for RAGE to get to his feet. As Murdock gets to his feet, and turns to the Diabolik corner, Win launches with flying cross-body...

Crowd: OOOooohhh!

Mark Perletta: My... GOD! He caught him!

Landon Savage: He didn't even call for the fair catch.

Win has a panicked look on his face, RAGE holding him with a smirk. But the smirk disappears quickly as Gryffin runs across and nails a clothesline, sending Ben Murdcock down, and James Win crashing down on top of him! Impromptu cover...

One...

Two...

NO!

Mark Perletta: A kickout by Murdock, but one has to wonder, how much a Murdock can with stand? He's fighting and uphill battle and he's having to do it almost on his own.

On cue we cut to Steve O'Reily who's getting up slowly... much too slowly for a guy who's soley feeling the effects of a drop kick.

Win continues to stomp away on Murdock, while Gryffin composes himself, slowly getting to his feet. Win quickly runs to the corner and knocks Steve O'Reily off the apron with a nice high drop kick. He finally struggles up to the apron, but barely gets vertical, leaning on the top rope, sweating profusely.

Landon Savage: I didn't think it'd be possible for O'Reily to look worse than he did, but with each passing moment he continues to too look wretched.

Win drags Murdock to his feet, and starts laying kicks to the legs eventually dropping RAGE to his knees. Win bounces off the ropes and delivers a low drop kick square to the forehead. He jumps up letting out an enthusiastic, "WOOOOOOO!" He sizes up Murdock and again runs towards the ropes. Deftly jumps to the top rope, and launches himself back, once again going for The Pan American Shooting Star.

Mark Perletta: Going to the well again.

Win lands with all his weight across the body of Ben Murdock. He looks over his shoulder to Murdock's partner and lets out an evil chuckle. He drives a few quick shoulders into RAGE's gut and tags in Gryffin. Gryffin grabs Murdock and lifts him up over his head into a gorilla press... the crowd oooh's, impressed. He waits a second and then snaps Murdock down into a powerslam.

Cover!

One.

Two...

THRE- NO!!! Murdock out at 2 and 9/10ths! Gryffin pounds the mat in frustration. He stalks the ref...

Gryffin Anselm: C'mon ref. That was A THREE!

As he continues to stalk and argue with the referee, the crowd buzzes. STEVE O'REILLY HAS stepped through the ropes. He takes a deep breath, sizing up Gryffin he runs full force... HUGE SPEAR!!!! The crowd ROARS!

Mark Perletta: It might have been all the energy O'Reily has left, but dammit if it wasn't an equalizer!!!

Murdock gets up slowly smiling and nodding.

Landon Savage: Time for some turn about... and you know what they say about "turn about", Joey?

Joey, clearly pouting.

Joey C: Its bullshit?

Perletta and Savage: JOEY!!!

Domination in the ring are smiling at one another, and Murdock looks to O'Reily and gestures something and asks "You up for it". O'Reily smirks and nods.

The two immediatly turn to Gryffin, who's slowly getting to his feet, they get on either side of him and hoist him up in a double spinebuster and drive him to the mat with violent authority. The crowd jumping from their feet excited as Murdock covers... but the ref is ushering O'Reily out of the ring, and isn't there right away to make the count. Win notices this and immediately jumps to the top rope, but Murdock sees him, and jumps to his feet.

The two lock in a stare down... Murdock in the ring. Win on the top rope. Murdock throws his arms out to the side mouthing.

Ben Murdock: Wanna try it again?

Win sees Gryffin getting to his feet behind Murdock and launches with another cross body attempt -

Landon Savage: Caught, AGAIN!

Again Win is caught by Ben Murdock, and again here comes Gryffin to attempt a clothesline, but Murdock has learned and turns and hurls James win towards Gryffin. Win taking Gryffin out with a leg lariat. Murdock quickly makes the cover.

One...

Two...

Th-no! Win breaks up the pin attempt, again! Win begins to lay rights and lefts into Murdock, picks him up, and plants him with a snapping DDT! He half helps, half drags Gryffin onto RAGE!

One...

Two...

THRE- NO!!

Mark Perletta: There's still fight left in Murdock who has spent almost the entire match in the ring!

Gryffin gets up, bringing Murdock with him, he scoops him up onto his shoulder and backs up, looking for a running powerslam. He takes off, but Ben Murdock squirms, and kicks his legs, slipping out of the powerslam, grabbing Gryffin and planting him with reverse DDT!

Mark Perletta: Both men are down, now! Who can make the tag first?

Joey C: More important question does Murdock even WANT to tag his partner into this match?

Landon Savage: After the beating he's taken I don't see him having any other option!

Murdock begins to crawl his way to his corner to tag in his partner. The crowd rooting him on each step he takes.

Mark Perletta: HE'S ALMOST THERE!!!

Murdock takes two mores steps and reaches for the tag.

The crowd urging them on!

But as he extends his hand O'Reily's eyes bulge, and he doubles over, covering his mouth, his cheeks bulge, and some brownish chunky fluid escapes as he tries to hold it in with his hand.

Landon Savage: .... did ... he... just, puke?

The question is quickly answered as O'Reily falls off the apron to the floor and lets loose a mighty wretch, emptying the contents of his stomach, ring side. The crowd groans in unison... the faces on the fans in the first couple rows curl in disgust. Murdock just looks down, confused... absolutely baffled as to what just happened, and this few moments of distraction allows Gryffin to run from behind leveling him with a clothesline that drives Murdock's head into the middle turnbuckle.

Gryffin looks down at the heaving, VENOM, and points and laughs, which draws the boos from the crowd. Gryffin reaches down, and wraps his arms around the waist lifting RAGE up, and launching him backwards with a release German Suplex. Gryffin follows up, slowly... He brings Murdock up into a fireman's carry pauses and then drives him head first into the mat with the Devastator!

Joey C: DEVASTATOR! That's the ballgame!

Gryffin jumps up, and immediately tags James Win who jumps over the top rope, with glee. He delivers a few slaps to the face of Ben Murdock, and then hoists him up, delivers a wicked kick to the gut, doubling over Murdock. He puts him into a double underhook, pauses with a smirk and then delivers a HUGE STARBURST!!!

Joey C: STARBURST!!!! THE HITS KEEP COMING!

Cover!

One...

Two...

THREE!!!

The bell rings as James Win rolls off and jumps up in celebration.

Josephina Colbert: The winners of the match... and... STILL... Legacy World Tag Team Champions.... James Win. Gryffin Anselm. The DIABOLIK!!!!

Mark Perletta: Yet again, Gryffin Anselm and James Win are victorious in a title defense, and you'd have to think that without one of their members being physically ill, Domination might've won this match.

Joey C: I'm sure plenty of guys get nervous for big matches, and some of them probably even vomit, but do you see them blaming their losses on it? They shouldn't. If they're as good a team as Trent Logan wants us to believe, then they should've been able to overcome it.

Landon Savage: I'm a big fan of the Diabolik, and vomit or not, I still think Gryffin Anselm could've found a way to win this match, but what I saw out there... that's gotta be more than just nerves.

LEGACY World Championship
Stephen Rawlings vs Loco Martinez ©

The lights go out, and the excitement starts to spread throughout the capacity crowd on hand for tonight’s event. Suddenly a solitary spotlight shines down on the middle of the ring where Josephina Colbert stands with a microphone in hand.

Josephina Colbert: And now, it’s the time you’ve all been waiting for, it’s time for tonight’s MAIN EVENT!!!

After a quick burst of excited squeals and applause waves through the crowd, Josephina continues her announcement.

Josephina Colbert: Introducing first….

Starting from the edges of the stage fireworks explode upwards, two by two, collapsing in on the top of the ramp. The spot at the top of the ramp where the bursts came together produce three more bursts upwards. When the sparkles fade, Linkin Park’s “Points of Authority” begins to play over the speakers.

Josephina Colbert: Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan... Weighing in at 189 pounds… He is the Challenger… Ssssstephen…. Rrrrawlings!!

The crowd starts cheering and Stephen Rawlings walks out from the back, wearing his thigh length blue tights and his “Good Enough Isn’t” LEGACY short sleeve shirt. He doesn’t look at the crowd as he stands atop the ramp, but does pause for a moment before heading down the ramp towards the ring.

Joey C: And here he comes, as boring as ever.

Landon Savage: Good old predictable Rawlings, same old uniform, same old attitude, coming to the ring for this match just as he would for any other match on STRIFE or a house show or whatever…

Mark Perletta: That’s how Stephen Rawlings approaches things. He treats every match the same, preparing for each one of them as if it were a pay per view main event. I knew coming into tonight’s broadcast that Stephen Rawlings was going to wear that ring attire and that shirt.

When he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Stephen Rawlings hops up onto the apron and then ducks into the ring. Rawlings walks straight across the ring to his corner and takes off his shirt, tossing it to the outside to the time keeper and then uses the ropes to stretch out a bit, doing some last minute preparations for the championship match.

Josephina Colbert: And his opponent…

The lights drop, and two gold spotlights fall down on the entrance. We hear a soft harp and a cascade of heavenly voices.

As the choir of angels continues we see THE Trophy Case come through the curtain. The crowd begins to shower boos that drown out the music. On either side of the case, carrying it, are T-Rex and Arch Angel. Both men look dapper in black tuxedos and white gloves. They move the title off to the left of the entrance, and take guard on either side. The crowd still livid over the pompous ass nature of this "ceremony", only grows more livid as the lights drop completely out, and the words -

"You can't spell 'main event'... without, ME!" flashes up on the jumbo-tron. We wait a beat before the palm muted bassline of the Von Bondies "C'mon C'mon" erupts through the arena.

"On Another DAY, C'mon C'mon!"

Loco bursts through the curtain out onto the the stage. Loco's in silver, baggy karate styled pants (think Tajiri styled) with "THE Superstar" up the left leg in yellow, and yellow boots. No shirt on tonight, his left wrist taped up, as well as his right wrist up to the fist. The boos reign down mercilessly, but he just shrugs his shoulders, hamming it up.

Josephina Colbert: Hailing from Philadelpihia, Pennsylvania. Weighing in at 222 pounds. He is the Legacy World Champion... here. is. LOCO MMMMAAARRTTTIIIINNNEEEZZZZZ!!!

Mark Perletta: The pompous champ has arrived. The Title belt is locked in his trophy case... and these fans are FURIOUS!

Joey C: And why? Here's a champion who wants to put the onus on HIM. Not some tiddlywink. He knows there's a target on his back. So why have the distraction of that shiney belt?

Landon Savage: Or even better yet? Is Loco so ego-maniacal that he can't stand to share ANY spotlight, even with the Legacy World Title?

Loco walks over and shares a moment of conversation with Anarchy, and slaps both men on the back before whirling around grandly and making his way to the ring.

Loco jumps up on the apron and effortlessly slingshots himself over the top rope. Inside the lights drop again and he crosses his arm posing as those two gold spots that once rested on the trophy case, no solely lie on HIM!

Mark Perletta: If there has been a more glaring metaphor for his egotism... I dare YOU to find it!

The music begins to fade away, and the lights come up, and a "Lets go Rawlings"-clap clap clapclapclap - chant starts up. Loco holds his hands to his ears and mouths to Stephen,

Loco Martinez: Your family here tonight?

The ref pulls both men to the center of the ring to go over the rules, but stops after a few lines looking at Loco. Loco stares back confused. The ref looks over Loco one more time...

Referee: Loco, where's the belt?

Loco thumbs over his shoulder to the ramp, and the two large men, arms crossed guarding the title.

Loco Martinez: Duh!

The crowd starts a faint "asshole" chant and Loco turns and glares icily out over the audience, which only serves to strengthen the "asshole" chant. The ref, not sure what to do looks aggravated.

Referee: Loco, I need the belt.

Loco Martinez: No. You don't.

Referee: Listen, I need that title. THIS is a TITLE match, its on the line. I hold it up. Give it to the time keeper. We ring the bell.

Loco Martinez: Well... You know where it is. Go get it.

The ref, furious, quickly scurries out of the ring and up the ramp. Rawlings glares at Loco, Loco looks back innocently.

Loco Martinez: What?

Rawlings goes to lunge at Loco and Loco quickly dashes away and slides out of the ring. Up on the top of the ramp the ref is staring at the title behind the locked glass of the trophy case. He reaches up to grab the handle of the case and both T-Rex and Arch Angel quickly slide in front of case shaking their head "no".

The ref intimidated, but knowing he needs the title makes his case, but is continued to be stonewalled by Anarchy.... The crowd growing angrier and angrier at the delay. The ref is livid and begins poking T-Rex violently, which the crowd LOVES! T-Rex... does not. He looks livid, and about to disembowel the referee when Loco's voice booms over the PA system.

Loco Martinez: Whoa! Easy Teddy. Don't kill the zebra. They are endangered, you know? Ref-man, you're crazy brave, or fucking retarded... but I'm feeling charitable AND I've got a compromise. Angel. Give him the key.

Angel looks skeptical.

Loco Martinez: Go ahead, big man. Give him the key.

Angel hands a small golden key to the ref who looks somewhat placated, and also glad to get out of dodge before T-Rex gets any angrier.

Loco Martinez: There. Now you have the key to the case... and remember, when that dickbag in the ring -*points at Rawlings*- is cheating... remember who was KIND enough to look out for you!

Loco laughs and hands the mic back Colbert, and rolls back in the ring. Once the referee gets the World Title he gets back into the ring, holds the belt high above his head, then walks over to the far corner and hands the title to the time keeper and then calls for the bell.

Mark Perletta: After a minor delay, things are now under way for the main event, the rematch a lot of people have been waiting to see since the closing moments of CALL TO ARMS.

Joey C: Yeah, I’m sure a ton of people have been waiting to see if Rawlings trained appropriately for this match, especially after all the stuff we heard about Rawlings being tricked into a second title defense at the last pay per view that he wasn’t able to properly prepare for. One reason I’m looking forward to this match is so we don’t have to keep hearing all about it. All those cry-baby Rawlings fans are going to have to live with the result of this match, ‘cause they’ll have nothing to complain about.

The two men slowly start to circle the ring, and then Stephen Rawlings steps in and gets into a collar-and-elbow lock with Loco Martinez, who didn’t seem quite ready for the tie-up. Getting the quick advantage, Stephen locks Loco into a hammerlock, and Loco reaches back, trying to grab the challenger by the head, but Rawlings shoves the hand away, keeping the hammerlock on. Getting over to the ropes, Loco ducks underneath the top rope, putting his torso outside the confines of the ring ropes, and the referee moves in and gets Rawlings to release the hold. Once Martinez has his arm free, he escapes to the outside.

Landon Savage: Loco Martinez making the strategic exit, not liking how things are going for him so far, and now he’s getting a little confidence boost from T-Rex and Arch Angel.

Mark Perletta: Confidence boost?! The bell rang like ninety seconds ago! We’re not even two minutes into the match yet.

Joey C: Hey, don’t question the actions of THE Legacy Superstar. It wasn’t even two months ago that he was trying to overcome his performance anxiety with a sports therapist. Confidence could play a huge role in this match.

Having spoken with the members of Anarchy to his heart’s content, Loco hops back up onto the apron and watches to see how Rawlings is going to respond. Stephen backs up and puts his hands up, letting Loco re-enter the ring. Once Martinez is back in the ring, however, Stephen Rawlings charges in and grabs back into a tie-up, again putting Loco into another hammerlock. Immediately Loco reacts, moving over towards the ropes again. This time, however, before they get to the ropes, Loco shoves backwards and throws the elbow of his free arm backwards, connecting with the jaw of Rawlings, forcing him to release the hold.

Landon Savage: Rawlings should’ve tried something else…

Mark Perletta: It looks like he’s doing that right now.

Before Loco can even turn around, Stephen Rawlings grabs him around the waist, lifting him up off the mat and slams him down onto his feet with an atomic drop, but he doesn’t let go. He then lifts Loco off the mat a second time, pivots around and sets him on the top rope. Hooking Loco’s foot under the top turnbuckle bar, Stephen Rawlings hits Loco in the back a few times, then pulls him by the head outwards towards the middle of the ring. Having pulled Loco out as far as he can go, Rawlings spins around and drops an elbow into the sternum of Loco Martinez. The impact leaves Loco hanging up-side down.

Mark Perletta: Loco in a bad position here early in this match…

Joey C: And imagine my surprise, it actually looks like Stephen Rawlings is going to do something about it!

After backing into the far corner, Stephen Rawlings runs in, leaps into the air and drills Loco Martinez with a dropkick to the chest. The impact jars Loco’s foot, releasing him from the tree of woe position and causing him to fall face down onto the mat. Lifting Loco up off the mat, Stephen Rawlings hoists him up onto his shoulders into a fireman’s carry position, and he then starts spinning around in a circle.

Landon Savage: Are you kidding me? He’s doing an AIRPLANE SPIN?!

Mark Perletta: It appears so, and he’s actually spinning around at a decent speed!

Having already spun around nearly ten times, Stephen Rawlings leaves his feet and falls backwards, hitting a Samoan drop. Rawlings gets back to his feet, stumbling a bit and showing signs of dizziness as he tries to reach down to grab Loco up off the mat, failing to grab him the first two times he tries. By that time, Loco rolls over onto his stomach, moving away from the challenger and getting to his feet. No sooner does he get to his feet than he nearly falls over, also showing signs of being very dizzy. Rawlings manages to grab Loco by the wrist and sends him into the ropes with an irish whip. Stephen ducks down as Loco charges back in towards him, looking for a back body drop, but Loco spots the move and rolls over Rawlings’ back, avoiding the move. Stopping in his tracks, Loco turns around and goes for a dropkick as Stephen stands up straight again…

Mark Perletta: He missed it! Loco Martinez still a little dizzy from the airplane spin, goes for a dropkick and completely misses the mark!

Joey C: It’s not his fault he can’t see straight… but now it looks like he’s trying to rectify that.

Down on one knee, Loco closes his eyes and slowly shakes his head, trying to regain his equilibrium. When he opens his eyes, he gets to his feet and turns around and walks right into the grasp of Stephen Rawlings, who locks him up and takes him down with a belly-to-belly suplex.

Mark Perletta: Stephen Rawlings really on a roll here thus far.

Landon Savage: It’s not how you start, Perletta, it’s how you finish, and although things are going good for him now, Stephen Rawlings probably has a good bit of match left before this one goes into the record books and one of these men walks away with the World Title, but if he can keep things going his way, he stand a good chance.

Joey C: Right about now I’m sure there are tons of Stephen Rawlings marks out there who are saying that this match so far is just further proving that Loco’s win at CALL TO ARMS was a fluke, and my message to them: wait until the bell rings again, folks, just wait until then to make your decision.

As Loco Martinez works his way up off the mat, Stephen Rawlings grabs him by the head and moves him over closer to the corner and then he locks Loco into position for a reverse ddt. Instead of dropping Martinez to the mat, Rawlings works his feet up onto the middle turnbuckle, and then he flips forewards, yanking Loco down to the mat with the front layout neckbreaker drop. Getting up to his knees, Rawlings drops down, hooks the leg and goes for a pinfall attempt.

One…

Two…

NO!

Mark Perletta: Loco Martinez kicks out of the first pinfall attempt of this match… and now he once again escapes to the outside.

Joey C: Another little confidence boost couldn’t hurt, right?

Landon Savage: Looks like Stephen Rawlings isn’t too excited about it, talking to the ref, like that’s actually going to get Loco to cut down on his confidence building time?

Mark Perletta: This trip on the outside isn’t going to take as long for Loco as the last one… and it looks like Stephen Rawlings isn’t going to let him come back in as easily as last time, going over to the ropes to meet him on the way back in.

As Loco gets back up onto the apron, Stephen Rawlings walks past the referee to meet his opponent at the ropes, but just as Rawlings gets there, Loco hops down off the apron. Reaching under the bottom rope, Loco grabs Rawlings by the ankles, pulls back and to the side, dropping Stephen down to the mat. Taking just one of Rawlings’ ankles, Loco pulls Stephen’s foot over the middle rope until the back of his knee rests on the middle rope. Martinez pulls down for a moment to put extra strain on the knee, locks the top of Stephen’s foot inside the bottom rope and then he hops up onto the apron, then flips himself over the top rope and stomps down onto Stephen’s chest with both feet.

Joey C: Now THAT’s what I call putting your foot down!

Mark Perletta: Ha…. Ha. Very funny, Joey.

Landon Savage: How long have you been waiting for a move like that to happen to use that comment, Joe? Has it been a while? You should’ve waited at least a little longer.

After stomping down onto Stephen Rawlings’ chest another time, Loco runs into the opposite ropes, gains some momentum and then leaps off the mat and sends a dropkick into the mid-thigh of Rawlings’ leg which is still trapped over the middle rope. Back on his feet, Loco Martinez starts drilling Rawlings’ leg with repeated kicks to the leg until the referee moves in and puts a stop to it.

Joey C: Aw, what a kill-joy.

Mark Perletta: The referee’s just doing his job, enforcing the rules and keeping a competitor from getting attacked when they’re tied up in the ropes.

Landon Savage: You mean like he did earlier when Loco was locked in the tree of woe?

Mark Perletta: Hey, the referee broke up that hammerlock early on when Loco got himself into the ropes, and to be fair, the referee did allow Loco Martinez some leniency for the past couple minutes. He could’ve put a stop to it right after Loco got back in the ring.

The referee helps Rawlings unhook his foot, and then as Stephen tries to get to his feet, his leg appears to be a little tender as he puts some weight on it. Sensing an opportunity, Loco moves in and tries to get back in on the attack, but Rawlings hits a forearm shot that rocks Martinez back a step. Following it up, Stephen grabs Loco around the head, spins around and takes Loco up over his head with a snap suplex, rolling backwards into a pinfall position. As soon as the referee realizes there’s a pinfall attempt, he slides in and makes the count.

One…

Loco shoulders out!

Mark Perletta: Stephen Rawlings going for that quick pinfall attempt after that snap suplex in an attempt to surprise Loco Martinez.

Landon Savage: Looks like the referee was more surprised than the champ was.

Joey C: You’re not going to win the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP off of a quick pin off of a snap suplex, and if Stephen Rawlings doesn’t realize that… he probably doesn’t have what it takes to regain that belt.

Mark Perletta: More than anything, Stephen Rawlings was probably just trying to send Loco a message, letting him know that he’s coming for that belt at any chance he gets, and I think it might force Loco to be a little more on the defensive.

Getting back to his knees, Stephen Rawlings grabs Loco Martinez by the ankle and in one motion lifts him up off the mat and sends him into the ropes with an irish whip. As Loco rebounds off the ropes, Stephen charges in and goes for a clothesline, but Loco ducks the attempt. Rawlings turns around, takes a step forward and goes for a high flipping dropkick, but Loco hooks his arms over the top rope, stopping his momentum, leaving Rawlings to come up with nothing but air.

Joey C: Just another sign that Loco Martinez is a smarter wrestler than Stephen Rawlings.

Mark Perletta: I don’t know… OH! Loco Martinez rushes in and drills Rawlings with a kick to the ribs!

Landon Savage: That’ll slow Rawlings down a step or two.

Loco moves in behind Rawlings, and as Stephen gets to his feet, Martinez grabs him from the shoulders, bringing his knees up and pulling backwards all at once, dropping down onto his back, completing the lung blower on Rawlings. Stephen arches his back in pain but he rolls over onto his stomach and still tries to get to his feet, but Loco Martinez is already there, ready and waiting for Rawlings. Dropping down to a knee, Loco drills Rawlings with a hooking punch to the ribs, doubling the challenger over. Getting to his feet, Loco takes a step back, then reaches out and grabs Stephen by the throat with one hand.

Landon Savage: He’s going for the Cruiserweight Chokeslam…

Mark Perletta: Loco taking a bit too much time… He lifts Stephen up… Rawlings with a clubbing blow to the side of Loco’s neck, breaking up the attempt!

His feet again touching the mat, Stephen Rawlings wastes no time as he grabs Loco around the waist, lifts him up off the mat and hits an inverted atomic drop. Hooking his head in under Loco’s arm and grabbing him around the waist, Rawlings flips the champion over into a Northern Lights suplex, Stephen holding on and bridging into a pinfall attempt. This time the referee is ready and gets into position right away.

One…

Two!

Thr… No!

Loco gets his shoulder up and twists out of the pinfall attempt. Rawlings is the first of the two back to his feet, but when he tries to lift Martinez up off the mat, Loco headbutts Stephen in the ribs, doubling him over. Getting up to his feet, Loco grabs Rawlings around the head with one arm, grabs Stephen’s arm with his other, and then spins through with a swinging neckbreaker. Rolling backwards, Loco returns to a standing position and waits for Rawlings to start to get up. When Rawlings puts a knee underneath himself and starts to lift up off the mat, Loco takes a few steps towards Stephen, hops up and drops a leg across the back of Rawlings’ neck, dropping him back down to the mat.

Landon Savage: Nice standing guillotine legdrop from Martinez, and this could be trouble for the challenger.

Joey C: You bet it’s going to be, ‘cause the champion is looking to follow it up…

As Stephen Rawlings slowly starts to get up off the mat, Loco Martinez moves over to the corner, climbs to the top rope as quickly as possible. Glancing backwards to measure up his opponent, Loco leaps backwards, flipping over Stephen Rawlings, grabbing him around the neck on the way down, yanking him off his feet as they both drop to the mat with a reverse DDT by the champion.

Joey C: That’s THAT WARM AND FUZZY FEELING, and this could be it! Loco is going to retain right here!

Landon Savage: It doesn’t look like he’s going for a pinfall…

Mark Perletta: Although he might act like one sometimes, Loco’s not an idiot, and it looks like he’s going to try to follow it up.

Loco walks over towards the corner, puts his foot on the bottom rope and he turns around to measure Rawlings up. Realizing that the challenger is a bit too far away, Loco moves back out of the corner, grabs Rawlings by the leg and drags him closer to the corner.

Mark Perletta: Loco maybe a little dazed and confused from the match so far, he didn’t realize how far from the corner they were.

Joey C: That’s about to not matter.

Having closed the distance by pulling Rawlings into position, Loco puts one foot on the bottom rope, then his other foot onto the middle rope. Springing upwards, Loco hits his split-legged moonsault, landing it perfectly across the chest of Stephen Rawlings, immediately hooking the leg and going for the pinfall.

Landon Savage: That’s the HAPPINESS, is this going to be it?!

One…

Two…

NO!!

Mark Perletta: Rawlings shouldered out of the attempt, and Loco Martinez can’t believe it!

Joey C: I can’t either! I thought he had the match won with that move!

Landon Savage: I think it was the delay in having to pull Rawlings closer to the corner that gave Stephen a little chance to recover enough .

Frustrated that the match is not yet over, Loco rolls out of the ring to the outside, pounding his fist against the apron, considering his options as he tries to cool down for a moment. Arch Angel and T-Rex walk around the ring to talk to Loco, but he waves them off, asking to be alone for a moment. Getting up off the mat, Stephen Rawlings spots the champion outside the ring. After a quick breather, Rawlings runs into the ropes on the opposite side of the ring of where Loco is waiting on the outside, gaining momentum. As he barrels towards the side of the ring where Martinez is standing on the arena floor, Rawlings dives between the middle and top rope, sending a forearm shot into the face of the very surprised World Champion, sending both of them down to the arena floor.

Mark Perletta: A NICE diving forearm plancha from Stephen Rawlings, and it was a gutsy move but I think it’s going to pay off!

Landon Savage: If Loco had moved out of the way, Rawlings could’ve hit the steel guardrail barrier in front of the front row of the crowd, and that would’ve all but gifted the match to the champion.

Once Arch Angel And T-Rex see that Stephen Rawlings is now on the outside, Rawlings is already back on his feet, trying to hoist Loco up off the ground. When both members of Anarchy start getting to the right side of the ring, the referee leans through the ropes and yells at them to stay back. Rawlings spots his opening and throws a forearm into the side of Loco’s face, then tosses him into the ring under the bottom rope. T-Rex, who is getting most of the referee’s focus, starts heading around the ring away from Stephen Rawlings, and Arch Angel starts moving with him, though at half the speed, slowing up as T-Rex keeps moving. A few moments later, T-Rex is around to the opposite side of the ring and Arch Angel is closer to the side where Rawlings is now up onto the apron. Arch Angel gets Rawlings’ attention, which keeps him from getting back into the ring. Arch Angel starts getting closer to Rawlings, who throws one of his feet in Arch Angel’s direction with a kick, keeping the big man backed away.

Mark Perletta: Rawlings has an opening here, and it looks like he’s going to go for some sort of move to come back into the ring on the offensive.

Landon Savage: This could be interesting, as Martinez’s back on his feet, the referee is still distracted, and Loco gets his attention, not even focused on Rawlings.

Mark Perletta: Loco turns to look for his opponent and sees Stephen leaps up onto the top rope for a springboard, then flies off towards him with a missile dropkick…

Joey C: Loco spins out of the way… and the referee walks right into the missile dropkick and takes it right on the chest!

Getting up off the mat, Rawlings realizes that he connected with his kick on the referee, not his intended target. Before Stephen can move back in on the attack, Martinez comes in from behind him, reaches around Rawlings’ head and rakes his eyes from behind, then backs up a step and dropkicks him in the back. Moving around in front of Rawlings, Loco picks him up into a front facelock, then snaps backwards, planting Rawlings into the mat with a DDT. Instead of following up the DDT, Loco takes the opportunity to roll out of the ring once again. This time as soon as he gets out there, Loco is handed a chair by T-Rex, and then Loco rolls right back into the ring.

Mark Perletta: Depending on what Loco intends on doing with that chair, Stephen Rawlings could be in a world of hurt.

Landon Savage: Fairly safe to say that Loco’s not going to use that chair to just sit around and tell stories.

Joey C: I sure hope not, I’d like to see him waffle Rawlings with it!

Reaching back, Loco raises the chair above his head and slams the seat of it down onto Rawlings’ back, then drives it downwards for a second time before dropping it down onto the mat. Martinez takes Stephen by the head and lifts him up to his feet. Putting Rawlings’ head between his legs, Loco sets up in a vertical head-scissors, straddling the steel chair which is laid on the mat. Loco tries to lift Rawlings’ feet up off the mat to go for a piledriver, but Rawlings blocks the attempt and hits a back body drop as soon as his feet touch the mat, falling backwards to add more pressure as Loco’s back crashes into the mat.

Mark Perletta: That was the exact thing Stephen Rawlings needed to do if he’s going to have any chance of leaving the arena tonight with the World Title.

Landon Savage: Loco Martinez just barely misses having his head land on one of the legs of that chair, and although Stephen Rawlings would never intentionally use a steel chair, I think he would’ve taken the help.

Getting up off the mat, Stephen Rawlings grabs Loco Martinez by the head and lifts him up to his feet, hammering him a couple times with clubbing blows to the upper shoulders, and then Rawlings hooks Loco’s head underneath his arm, scoops him up off the mat into the air, twists around and hits the modified screwdriver suplex putting Martinez back down onto the mat with intensity, a huge cheering ovation rolls through the crowd.

Mark Perletta: FINISHING MOVE by Rawlings!

Joey C: The idiot is going for the pin, but the referee is still out!

Mark Perletta: The crowd making their own pinfall count, and although they’re going a little fast, Rawlings might’ve had a pinfall there if the referee were to have seen it, but Rawlings lets up, realizing the fans are the only ones counting.

Landon Savage: The crowd can count it all they want, but that’s not going to bring home the belt.

Joey C: It wouldn’t have mattered even if Loco had his shoulders pinned to the mat right there as the fans had counted three, the champ knows that the referee is still out. He heard that no one other than the fans were counting that attempt, so there was no reason for him to exert the energy to kick out or get a shoulder up.

Mark Perletta: Rawlings gets to his knees, and he’s looking frustrated and he’s looking at that steel chair.

Joey C: Thus far in his career, that’s been one of Rawlings’ biggest faults, refusing to make the most of opportunities like this, but with the frustration and desperation Stephen has been experiencing the past few weeks…

Mark Perletta: I know where you’re going with that thought, and it looks like you might be right, Joey. Stephen sees the referee is still down, he sees that steel chair, and he knows that if he doesn’t use the chair, Loco Martinez might very well get back into this match and use it on him.

Landon Savage: He’s doing more than just looking at that chair, Perletta. The look in his eye… Rawlings is picking it up… and it doesn’t look like he’s going to just toss it aside!

Slowly lifting the chair, Rawlings looks at the potential weapon and looks at Loco, who is getting up to his feet. Taking one last look at the chair with an odd look on his face, Stephen takes a couple steps in and drills Martinez in the face with the seat of the chair, laying Loco out. The camera zooms in and we see blood begin to trickle down Loco’s face. The referee still down on the mat clutching his chest, Rawlings drops down to his knees and starts drilling Martinez in the forehead with hard right hands, and then suddenly he stops and looks down at his hands.

Mark Perletta: I think it just occurred to Rawlings what he did as he sees the blood of Loco Martinez covering his knuckles.

Landon Savage: It’s like he just snapped out of a trance or something and is trying to comprehend what his hands have done.

Joey C: If ever Stephen Rawlings was going to turn the corner and take his career to the next level, this is the time to do it, but I don’t think Rawlings realizes the opportunity he has right here and now!

After wiping the blood out of his eyes, Loco rolls over and gets his knee underneath him and then puts a foot on the mat, pushing himself up to his feet. Stephen Rawlings notices the movement out of the corner of his eye, and he turns to see Loco back on his feet. Rawlings charges in, Loco realizes it soon enough and Martinez turns to face his opponent, takes two steps forward, grabs Rawlings and flips him over with a powerslam. Hoping to stay in the match, Stephen Rawlings gets up as quickly as he can, but Loco Martinez is back on his feet first. As soon as Stephen gets to his feet, Loco goes for a kick, but Rawlings grabs him by the leg and immediately whips him over with a dragon-screw leg-whip. Not letting go of Loco’s leg, Rawlings gets to his feet and drops an elbow into the side of the champion’s leg.

Mark Perletta: Stephen Rawlings with that legwhip has now taken control of the match, and I think something’s going on with Loco’s leg.

Landon Savage: He does seem to be favoring it, he looks to be having a little trouble getting up, and Rawlings needs to do something here…

Slowly Loco Martinez works to get up off the mat. As the World Champion gets to one knee, Stephen Rawlings gets out onto the apron as quickly as he can, and then makes his way up the turnbuckles. No sooner does Rawlings get to the top rope than Loco Martinez gets his second foot underneath him. When Loco turns around to locate his opponent, Stephen leaps off the top rope, sending one leg to either side of Martinez’s head, going for a hurricanrana. Before Rawlings can flip backwards into his finishing move, Loco drops down to one knee, then pushes upwards as hard as he can, putting one hand underneath both of Rawlings’ knees, pushing upwards.

Rawlings flips backwards… lands on his feet!!

Loco reaches out, grabs Rawlings’ wrist… pulls him in…

LOCapitator!!

Rawlings is out!!

Loco goes for the pinfall…

ONE…

TWO…

THREE.

The referee gets to his knees and signals for the bell, and LEGACY’s ring announcer gets on the microphone for one final time this evening.

Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner… and still… LEGACY World Champion… THE Legacy Superstar… Loco… Marrrrrtinez!!!

Getting to his feet, Loco Martinez has his hand raised into the air, and he is then handed the LEGACY World Title. Putting it over his shoulder, Loco exits the ring and starts walking backwards up the ramp, boos pouring in from all over the arena.

Mark Perletta: Someway, somehow, Loco Martinez finds a way to successfully defend the LEGACY World Championship... and I have to say, that was one hell of a match.

Joey C: Exactly, Marky. Whether you like him or not, you have to admit that Loco Martinez is one hell of a competitor, and it might be a while before anyone is able to take that belt away from him.

John Thomas comes out from the back, meeting up with T-Rex and Arch Angel atop the ramp where Loco's trophy case stands awaiting the belt. Loco gets to the top of the ramp and John Thomas does the honors of opening the glass doors, and Loco pats the belt in a show of modest endearment, and then he puts the gold back inside the trophy case and locks the door.

Landon Savage: And what a fitting way to end tonight's event, with Loco Martinez locking away the World Title, keeping it in his posession for the foreseeable future, waiting to see if anyone has what it takes to take it from him.
