We open in a darkened arena. In the middle a ring is bathed in bright white light. Standing inside that ring the Champions of Legacy standing in a "V" shape. On the right, The Syndicate, belts on their shoulders Gryffin and James are highly animated, hyping each other up, slapping one another on the shoulder, yelling, and nodding. On the left side Strong Style Dragon holds his belt high for the world to see. Issac Entragian grips his belt with white knuckled ferocity. In the middle, Loco Martinez stands with a huge, cocky, glowing smile. His arms extended and him shrugging... the Legacy World Title no where in sight. We slow zoom on LEGACY's World Champion, his eyes icy as the opening guitar of Skrape's "Rise" explodes, and the champions of Legacy are replaced by the rest of the Legacy roster. Hunger in their eyes. An explosion and quick clips of brawls begin to play. "I'm defensive never questioned Alexander Harmston and Ray Willmott brawling. X-Calibur nailing a clothesline. Ron Bailey slamming an opponent to the mat with authority. Crazy Boy launching himself off the top rope. Eli Storm levels Rocky Stellar with a sick chair shot. "I won't break down into weakness quick flash of finishers: Rocky Stellar's "Stellar Drop". Jake Dominion's "Ice Breaker". Cronos Diamante's "Countdown to Extinction". Alexander Harmston's "Shake the Foundation" and capping it off with Marcus Marion's "Revolutionary Thrill". "I won't give up until the blood soaks my fingers A bloodied Greyson Blade struggles to his feet. "Rise up in the fold -- I'm saved " A Legacy referee raises Gryffin and James Win's hands in victory. Turns into Rawlings celebrating his victory in the Hawkins Memorial Tournament, and finishes with Dan Stein hoisting his Tao of Valor Championship above his head. A brief pause. A circling shot of Diego on the top rope. One beat and Diego launches off the top rope nailing his corkscrew plancha on Katsuro Yoshida. "The reflection in the mirror Crash hanging out with Jake Dominion and X-Calibur, backstage... crashes away as we see Crash turning on JD at Call to Arms, joining with the Syndicate to form, Diabolik. "Though it may seem that I'm angry Gigantus Awesomo slaps Tim Jones. Jones pauses a second then returns the favor slapping Awesomo. Mirage and Moreno brawling in the crowd. In the ring, Mirage leveling Moreno with a clothesline. Moreno launching off the top rope with a twisting moonsault. "I won't give up until the blood soaks my fingers Quick cut to Finishers: X-Calibur's "X-Terminator", Dan Stein's "Lights Out", Domination's "Total Domination", Ray Willmott's "The Ultimatum" , and Crash's "Aero Zeppelin Driver". "Rise up in the fold -- I'm saved" A shot from Call to Arms of Loco Martinez leaning over the top rope, dangling the Legacy World Title... taunting. We flash to that same opening shot. The Champions of Legacy. We flash again... and this time the rest of the Legacy roster stands over the champions shoulders. Hungry. Greatness
The screen changes to a shot of a moderate sized room, a stage set up at one end and chairs facing it, most of those chairs filled with people. On the front of the stage is a LEGACY sign, and behind the stage is a banner covered by a black covering draped across it. Smith Cartwright is at the lectern, speaking into the microphone. We’ve obviously joined this press conference in progress. Smith Cartwright: As you all know, LEGACY has a pay per view event coming up, as this weekend’s show marks the last televised event prior to the festivities. What you don’t know yet is the name of the event. A few flashbulbs go off during a brief pause from Cartwright. Smith Cartwright: The front office got together and talked about the possibilities for a name for the upcoming pay per view event, and we even spoke to the I.B.S. Consultants to see what help they could offer, and we think we came up with a name which is fitting for the current environment. Another brief pause. Smith Cartwright: The name of the upcoming event, headlined by a the rematch between Stephen Rawlings and World Champion Loco Martinez, is DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. Trevor Washington and Carter Franklin pull the black drape off of the banner behind Smith Cartwright, revealing the logo for the upcoming event.
Smith Cartwright: Just to confirm information which is already out there, LEGACY is staying in New Orleans for the second straight show, holding DESTINED FOR GREATNESS in the same arena in which STRIFE 25 is being held. I will now answer any DESTINED FOR GREATNESS related questions. The feed cuts away from the press conference and we find ourselves looking at the ring. Valor
The fans in the arena are excited as the show begins, but when a voice rings in over the speakers, they get even more excited. BOW DOWN, BITCHES. Following those familiar words, a screeching guitar riff hits the public announce system. The LEGEND... has ARRIVED!! The old tune from Rage Against The Machine, “Fistful of Steel”, begins playing loudly, much to the surprise of many of the fans. Out of nowhere, X-Calibur appears, vigorously swiping away the curtains. Mark Perletta: Well ladies and gentlemen, ever since STRIFE came to a close last week, the world has been wondering what X-Calibur thinks of the situation he has been landed in, with Bailey costing Strong Style Dragon the Tao of Valor Championship. Joey C: Actually, I think the world has been bracing themselves for a 10 minute gloating session. It’s no secret that X-Calibur loves championship gold, and he has an extensive history of taking championship gold any way he can get it. Landon Savage: It’s true that X-Calibur goes to all sorts of levels when championships are on the line, but I don’t think X is happy at ALL at the way he won the Tao of Valor Championship. He and the masked Dragon went tooth and nail in a stellar match-up, only for it to be ended abruptly with a Ron Bailey run-in. Mark Perletta: Judging from the unhappy look on X-Calibur’s face,
I’d say we’re all about to find out what exactly he thinks.
Brace yourselves, folks. This one’s going to be heated. Mark Perletta: Well, looks like X doesn’t want to waste any time. Josephina tosses X-Calibur a microphone, and X promptly taps onto the top of it, creating successive booming noises that echo through the arena. Landon Savage: Wow. He certainly doesn’t look too happy. Joey C: What a cry baby. Mark Perletta: First he’s gloating... now he’s a cry baby? Can it Joey... lets hear what the champion has to say. X-Calibur: Cut the music. Within seconds of the request, the music fades into obscurity and the
fans rabidly chant for their new Tao of Valor Champion. X pauses for a moment, shaking his head. He paces back and forth, taking in the crowd’s rabid nature before settling on the center position of the mat. X-Calibur: It was a nice plan, you know. John Thomas didn’t have the balls to face me in another clinic, so I asked Smith Cartwright to put me in a match with someone who would. He granted that request and gave me Strong Style Dragon - a man who was undefeated in LEGACY, mowing down the competition left and right… A real competitor making his mark with his amazing ability! So far, so good. My request was granted, but then I was granted something else. I was granted something I never even ASKED for; a shot at a championship. Sweet. Bonus. Through all of the bullshit John Thomas created, I thought all was finally well. X paused, and half-laughed to himself at the absurdity of it all. X-Calibur: As it turns out? I was mistaken. Again, X-Calibur started pacing back and forth, almost seething with
anger. Some of the crowd in the audience try to start an “X-Cal”
chant, but the intrigued demeanor of the crowd started showing and the
majority chose to listen carefully instead. The crowd roars with approval over X’s heated words for Ron Bailey. X-Calibur: So? Instead of coming out here all winks and smiles and happy as a Josephina hand job? I’m pissed off and sickened to a level that most of you cannot even begin to comprehend. But fear not, instead of standing here and bitching about what happened last week, I’m just going to roll with the punches and cut right to the chase. X pauses, looking down towards his championship belt. X-Calibur: Dragon? I’m giving you a rematch. You were unbeaten until you faced me, and whether or not I would’ve beaten you without Ron’s presence... though I would’ve... is irrelevant. You deserve the shot, so you will get one. But... since Bailey can’t seem to stay out of the picture? I’m going to have to include him too. If I can’t fucking fight one of you? Then I’ll fucking fight the both of you. Three-way. Triangle. Elimination. Handicap. Doesn’t fucking matter to me. It’s on. X grins for the first time. X-Calibur: I am... like it or not... the TAO... of VALOR... CHAMPION. X-Calibur holds the glistening championship high into the air with his right arm. Most of the crowd pours their hearts out with excitement, as a portion of them actually boo the statement just made. Booing, not in disdain for X-Calibur, but for the manner in which it ultimately went down and Strong Style Dragon’s unbelievable reign at a premature end. Nodding at those who aren’t happy with the facts, X-Calibur walks over to a turnbuckle, climbs to the second rope, and raises the belt even higher. The bulbs from camera flashes go off, as X continues. X-Calibur: That means this; fear nothing... face everything. Tao of Valor Championship is NOT just another wrestling trinket. Being Tao of Valor Champion signifies that you are THE man who is WILLING and READY to face any and all opposition that stands in my way in any type of match they throw at me - and I assure you, I AM... THAT... MAN. X steps down from the turnbuckle, and slams his fist into the top rope, out of adrenaline. X-Calibur: Being Tao of Valor Champion signifies that you are an integral part of this organization, and are one of the few “elite” competitors on this roster who will have no choice but to grin and bear the long road ahead. I assure you, I AM... THAT... MAN. The crowd unhinges, roaring with excitement. Almost screaming into the microphone, X looks out at everyone in attendance with eyes glazed over in a wild fury. X-Calibur: Being Tao of Valor Champion says that you will be in the midst of a battle that will never cease until the day you are defeated or the day you defend all four corners of the division and get your shot at the LEGACY World Championship. THIS is what being the fucking Tao of Valor Champion means. Creed knew it. Moxley knew it. Stein knew it. Dragon knew it. And I assure you ALL... I... FUCKING.... KNOW IT. X throws the championship across his shoulder, and looks dead on at the camera. X points into the camera, with an almost shaking rage, smirking with a speck of madness X-Calibur: YOU... Ronald Bailey... are not brave. YOU Ronald Bailey... are not willing to face any and all challengers. YOU Ronald Bailey... as long as Dragon and myself are on the other side of you... ONE WAY OR ANOTHER... will NEVER be the TAO... OF VALOR... CHAMPION. A brief pause. X-Calibur: And as someone once said it best... that’s the WAY it’s gonna BE. A voice calls out from backstage. Voice: Oh you think so? Out from the back steps Ron Bailey, wearing a blue and orange warm-up track suit, a pair of sunglasses tucked into the top of his jacket. The fans boos are thick, engulfing him as he walks out to the top of the ramp with a cocky smirk on his face. Ron Bailey: You think you can just walk out here with that belt and say how thing’s gonna be? Nah, see, ‘cause when you do that, you forget that you’re not the only one who makes things tick around here. You’re not the one who helps sway how things tick and tock, get me? You’re holding that belt because I helped you get it, and I know all the people watchin’ round the world got one big question in mind… for which I gots two answers. Why, Ron Bailey, why’d you help X-Calibur get that belt? We know you don’t like him… Ron grins. Ron Bailey: They right. I don’t like you, X, but the reason I did it… Ron reaches into his pocket and takes out a wad of cash. Ron Bailey: In that match, Dragon was the odds-on favorite, so there was more money in it for me if you won. The odds was close, so I had to put up almost this much, but it was worth it. X-Calibur starts shaking his head in disgust, but he lets Ron continue. Ron Bailey: The second reason I did it is because I knew that this would happen. I knew that you’d be so disgusted by not being in control of your own destiny that you’d pull me into a title match at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS… I knew that you’d bring Dragon along too… and now you’re givin’ me the chance I’ve wanted for the past month… I’m gonna beat you AND Dragon all at once. You can BET ON IT! Pounding the centerpiece on his championship like a badge of honor, X then holds his arms out, as if to say, “Come and get it.”. “Fistful of Steel” begins blaring into the arena again, and X-Calibur slowly walks away from the camera, never keeping his eyes off of Bailey. A smirk forms on Bailey’s face and he slowly backs up through the curtain. Allen Franks vs C.J.
Nelson
Mark Perletta: Our opening contest of the evening sets one member from two of LEGACY’s tag teams, C.J. Nelson from the decorated veterans of Long Island Hardcore, and Allen Franks from the young momentum gainers – the Canuckin’ Cowboys. Landon Savage: About a month ago, the other two members of each of these two teams squared off, and Jerry Starr from the Canuckin’ Cowboys got the win in that match, putting Jared Walsh on his back. Joey C: Some people have said it was a fluke or an upset, I say whatever. Jerry Starr is a young guy, a new guy to LEGACY, somebody we’re not overly familiar with… but he’s a talent, don’t EVER question that. Mark Perletta: One thing you might question are the decisions Jerry Starr has made, primarily with the choice of outfits for his team. Landon Savage: Look, a lot of people laughed when they saw Allen Franks walk down to the ring with that cowboy hat and those ass-less chaps, and maybe in retrospect Jerry Starr shouldn’t have given Calgary Carl so much input on what the outfits should be… but I don’t think it affected Franks negatively. Joey C: Allen can thank his lucky stars for that, because he didn’t need anything extra working against him going into this match. Mark Perletta: Right from the tale of the tape, you could tell that fighting CJ Nelson was going to be a tall order for Allen Franks, since Nelson is 7 inches taller and out-weighs him by almost 100 pounds. Landon Savage: Not to mention the fact that C.J. Nelson has a lot more experience. Mark Perletta: Let’s get down to the action and see how a match between two competitors with very different styles went down. Start : Footage from the Match Franks throws a right hand in the direction of his opponent, but C.J. Nelson blocks it and hooks it under his arm. Franks throws a left hand, Nelson blocks it, too, and hooks it under his arm. With his opponent at his disposal, Nelson backs up a step and throws Franks over his head with a double arm trap belly to belly suplex. Mark Perletta: Ouch! Allen Franks hits the mat hard! Landon Savage: He was lucky that he landed on his upper back, because he very nearly hit the mat neck first! Joey C: He’s lucky that C.J. Nelson hasn’t destroyed him yet! I’m surprised he’s lasted this long! Keeping in on the attack, Nelson moves in and begins to stomp down on Franks a couple times, connecting with the upper back region where Allen hit the mat. Pivoting slightly, Nelson leaps up into the air, gets completely horizontal and allows gravity to pull him back down to the mat as he goes for a jumping elbow drop, but just before C.J. hits, Allen Franks rolls out of the way and the fans let out a chorus of cheers. Landon Savage: Franks should consider himself lucky that he avoided that elbow drop and gave himself a bit of a chance to win this match. Joey C: Win? He’s lucky to have delayed the inevitable. Franks is the first of the two to get to his feet, and as Nelson stands up, Allen hits a dropkick to his opponent’s shin that drops Nelson down to one knee. Running into the ropes for some momentum, on the return Allen Franks takes C.J. Nelson down to the mat as he hits a spinning reverse heel kick that gets another quick chorus of cheers from the fans Mark Perletta: Two quick moves by Allen Franks put C.J. Nelson on his back… Landon Savage: Now it looks like Calgary Carl is coming out to the ring for a closer look at one of his boys in action. Joey C: Well he knows very well what Jerry Starr is capable of, so he may as well check out an Allen Franks match first hand! Allen needs more “coaching up” than Jerry Starr does anyway! As C.J. Nelson slowly works his way up off the mat, Allen Franks runs towards the ropes, and on the return he leaps into the air to go for a clothesline, but at the last moment Nelson ducks the move and Allen flies right past him. Once his feet hit the ground, Franks keeps running towards the ropes, connecting and giving him more momentum. When Allen gets a few feet from his opponent, C.J. Nelson steps in and grabs Franks around the waist, hoisting him up off the mat slightly, stopping his momentum and then slamming him down onto the mat with a sidewalk slam! Joey C: That’s the beginning of the end! Landon Savage: Nelson buys himself an opening… he runs into the ropes… Calgary Carl nearly trips the big man up, but Nelson has too much strength in his legs to go down! Mark Perletta: That doesn’t mean that he didn’t feel what happened, though, and now he’s changing his focus from Allen Franks to Calgary Carl… and this doesn’t bode well for the Canuckin’ Cowboys’ manager. Reaching over the top rope, Nelson grabs Calgary Carl by the head and tries to pull him up onto the apron. Holding on to the bottom rope, Carl does everything he can to keep himself from being pulled into a potentially destructive situation. In the middle of the ring, Allen Franks works his way up to his feet and spots the opportunity. Sprinting into the opposite ropes, Allen gains momentum and flies towards his opponent on the return, leaping into the air and drilling him in the back with a dropkick to the shoulders. Joey C: Not a good move by Allen Franks… He had a moment to rest with Nelson’s focus elsewhere, and now he’s gonna get it! Arching his back slightly in pain, C.J. Nelson turns around to face his opponent, but Allen Franks follows up on his opportunity. Moving in, Franks grabs Nelson around the leg, then lifts up with everything he’s got, picking C.J. up off the mat and falls backwards, driving the Long Island Hardcore member face down into the mat. Not wasting a moment, Allen Franks heads out onto the apron and then gets to the top rope, then leaps off, hitting a swanton bomb right across the chest of C.J. Nelson! Without moving off of his opponent, Allen Franks hooks the leg… ONE!! TWO!! THREE!!!! Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner by pinfall... Allen... Frrranks!! Mark Perletta: No sooner is Allen Franks' hand raised, and here comes Jared Walsh coming out from the back. This isn't going to be good... Joey C: Oh, wait, and here comes Jerry STARR... Walsh slides into the ring just as Allen Franks leaves it, and both Walsh and C.J. Nelson glare over the top rope at Franks and Calgary Carl as they walk over to the ramp to meet up with Jerry Starr, who has a mic in hand. Jerry STARR: I've heard about your history in this sport, ICQ6. You guys are supposedly the most hardcore tag team to have ever graced pro-wrestling... and I just wanna say- Calgary Carl whispers into Jerry Starr's ear. Jerry STARR: 'Scuse me. L-I-H-C. L-I-H-C, you guys are on borrowed time here in LEGACY... because the greatest team in pro-wrestling today... Franks shoots Starr a worried look at that statement. Jerry STARR: ... is challenging YOU, to a match, at Goodness is Gracious. Calgary Carl whispers into Jerry's ear again. Jerry STARR: Uh, right. At DESTINED... For GREATNESS! Carl applauds Jerry Starr, as Allen Franks shakes his head. Jerry Starr: Rest assured, fellas. After this match, you'll be known as Long Island Skinemax! Carl squeals with laughter and inside the ring, both Nelson and Walsh nod their heads, agreeing to the match. Second Chances
Once all five men involved in the post-match happenings head backstage,
the Lights Flicker as "The Light that Blinds" By Shadows Fall
fills the New Orleans arena. Smoke fills the entryway as a figure appears
in the smoke. He pumps his fist in the air and the crowd cheers in unison
as Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith appears from the smoke. He looks
around, not quite sure what to do next, as he makes his way to the ring.
He slides under the ropes and looks around. He pumps his fist one more
time in the air and grabs a microphone from Josephina Colbert and he
stares at the cheering fans, absorbing it all in before speaking. He starts wildly nodding his head. Smith Cartwright: Tyrone… uh… I realize from hearing what you just said that there might be a little misunderstanding… He slowly makes his way down the ramp, unsure of whether to approach Crazy Boy or not. Smith Cartwright: You DID approach the front office about having a rematch against Mirage… and I said I thought it was an interesting idea… but it hasn’t been approved yet… and I hate to break it to you… but it won’t be the Main Event of DESTINED FOR GREATNESS… that’s going to be the REAL World’s Championship match… Loco Martinez vs Stephen Rawlings. Smith stops halfway down the ramp, unsure what the man in the ring might do as he spots a strange look on Crazy Boy’s face. Before Smith can continue, another voice is heard as someone else walks out from the back. Mirage: Hold up, there, Cartwright. Since you’re talking about ME and MY World Title, I think it’s only right that I be involved here. Now I understand that you’re trying to cut this kid a break, give him a second chance at making his name around here… but we all saw what happened last time, and no one wants to see this kid get his head beaten in like he did at Strife 24. Smith looks up the ramp at Mirage as he responds. Smith Cartwright: Oh we all saw what happened, all right! We saw how you “won” that match, and it wasn’t exactly “on the level”, now was it?! Mirage glares down the ramp and begins walking. Mirage: I did you all a favor by stepping into the ring with Justin Moreno at CALL TO ARMS, and if you think I’m going to waste another pay per view with a no talent loser… As he gets halfway down the ramp, the crowd bursts out in cheers as Justin Moreno runs down the ramp, leaps and drills Mirage with a forearm shot that interrupts him mid sentence, knocking him down to the steel ramp, a foot away from Smith Cartwright. Smith quickly tries to move out of the way of the brawl which has just started. Crazy Boy: Hey! Hey, what are you doing?! As quickly as he can, Crazy Boy gets out onto the apron for a better look. Crazy Boy: You’re trying to steal my match and my World Title!! Hopping off the apron, Crazy Boy sprints up the ramp and tackles Justin Moreno off of Mirage. Tyrone then gets up and drills Mirage with a hard right hand, keeping him down on his back. Before Crazy Boy can get in any offense, though, Justin Moreno hits a charging knee right to Crazy Boy’s ribs, knocking him off of Mirage. The fans are going insane as this three-way brawl continues, and Mirage gets himself up off the ramp and takes a few steps back. Spotting an opportunity, Mirage runs in and kicks Justin Moreno under the jaw, sending him flying away from Crazy Boy. Smith Cartwright: That’s enough! That. Is. Enough!!! Mirage, whether you like it or not, you’re going to be facing Crazy Boy at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS, and it’s not just going to be a repeat of the match at STRIFE 24, because this time it’s going to be a three-way… and that’s right, you guessed it, Justin Moreno is going to be the third man! Snarling, gritting his teeth, Mirage glares at Smith Cartwright and slowly backs himself up the ramp, the fans at either side of him and all around the arena just going wild with excitement. LEGACY officials pour out of the back and get between where Mirage is standing and the bottom of the ramp where Cartwright is standing. Crazy Boy and Justin Moreno both try to shake the cobwebs, barely having heard the announcement for the upcoming pay per view. Hector Rodriguez &
Kevin Oppenheimer
vs Fast Times Landon Savage: Up second tonight is a tag match with two new-comers to LEGACY as they match up against a team who is in desperate need of a victory. Joey C: The last time Fast Times were in a LEGACY ring was back at the Pre-Show to the Call to Arms Pay Per View where they lost, surprisingly, to the Canuckin’ Cowboys. Now don’t get me wrong, I think Jerry Starr has tons of talent, but Fast Times did well against The Diabolik not long ago, so honestly I expected them to beat a new team like Franks and Starr. Mark Perletta: Anything can happen here in LEGACY, and that’s why we have the matches contested, because sometimes the person or team you expect to win a match can’t get the job done. Tonight’s competition for Racin’ Pat Reynolds and Big Jimmy Smith are two guys who had been signed to compete in LEGACY International – Kevin Oppenheimer and Hector Rodriguez. Landon Savage: We saw Oppenheimer’s debut two weeks ago at STRIFE 24 and it appears that Dan Stein isn’t a terrible teacher after all. Now the two questions that come to mind are: How good is Hector? And secondly, Can he and Oppenheimer mesh well enough to pick up the win? Mark Perletta: Prior to the match, I didn’t think Oppenheimer and Hector knew each other, but something near the end of the match tells me that their paths have crossed before. Joey C: You could tell it in their eyes, that’s for sure. You could see that they knew what to expect from one another during this match, and it was clear that the knowledge wasn’t just from having watched tapes. Landon Savage: I’m going to have to do a little research, which I should’ve done prior to the match, but I have a feeling that they wrestled in the same promotion at some point in time. Mark Perletta: I apologize that we don’t have that kind of information available for you, the LEGACY fans, but I’m sure by the time we get to DESTINED FOR GREATNESS, we’ll have it. Joey C: I enjoyed watching this match, which was a shocker to me because I didn’t expect to, so let’s show the footage so everyone else can see it as well? Start : Footage from the Match With his arm wrapped around the side of Kevin Oppenheimer’s neck, Big Jimmy wrenches in the side headlock. Grabbing Jimmy by the wrist, Kevin struggles and tries to wrench himself free of the hold, but Smith keeps it on tight. Just as Oppenheimer is about to try a different method to get out of the grip of his opponent, Hector Rodriguez gets into the ring and nails Jimmy in the lower back with a roundhouse kick that forces Jimmy to release the hold. Mark Perletta: Hector Rodriguez apparently didn’t like his partner’s chances of getting out of that hold on his own, and now he’s following up that kick with some extra offense! Joey C: Nice tackle by Hector, taking Big Jimmy down to the mat! He’s getting in a few extra right hands before the referee convinces him to release Jimmy Smith, reaching a four count and nearly disqualifying him. Landon Savage: Now this sets things back at square one for Oppenheimer and Hector, strategically a good move by Hector, though I’m not sure how Kevin Oppenheimer feels about it. Oppenheimer is the first of the two men to get back to his feet, and when he moves in and tries to lift Jimmy Smith up off the mat, he’s met with a hard right hand to the gut, then another one. With Kevin doubled over in a bit of pain, Jimmy Smith gets himself up off the mat, lifts Kevin up and drops him onto the mat with a bodyslam, then sends a hard stomp down into the middle of his chest. Mark Perletta: Jimmy Smith buys himself enough time to not only get up off the mat, but there you see the tag, bringing Pat Reynolds back into the match. Joey C: *sarchastically* Great, let’s see what Mr NASCAR can do… Just as his opponent is getting up off the mat, Pat Reynolds runs over and drills Kevin with a double axhandle smash to the back, sending him right back down to the mat. After a few kicks to the ribs, Racin’ Reynolds lifts Oppenheimer up off the mat and sends Kevin into the far corner with an irish whip. Reynolds follows his opponent into the corner and drills him with a charging elbow smash to the head,. Mark Perletta: Effective move by Racin’ Reynolds, and Jimmy Smith has to move out of the way to make sure he doesn’t get knocked off the apron by the impact! Landon Savage: When a guy as big as Pat gets his body in motion, it’s bound to make a big impact, and I’m glad it was Kevin Oppenheimer in that corner and not me. Reynolds keeps in on the attack as he sends multiple kicks into the gut of his opponent. Trying to buy himself an opening, Kevin swings in and connects with a European uppercut, backing Reynolds off a step, but Pat reaches over and makes the tag in to Jimmy Smith right before Kevin Oppenheimer dives in and clotheslines Reynolds down to the mat. Landon Savage: Oppenheimer with the strong clothesline, but he’s a moment too late because he couldn’t stop Reynolds from making the tag. Mark Perletta: If it weren’t for that well placed European Uppercut that rocked him back, I don’t know that Racin’ Reynolds would’ve made the tag in the first place. Joey C: Jimmy Smith to the top rope… As soon as Kevin Oppenheimer gets to his feet and turns around to look for his opponent, Big Jimmy leaps off the top rope and connects with a flying cross-body, turning it into a pinfall attempt. The referee slides into position… 1… 2… Oppenheimer shoves Jimmy off of him, breaking the count. When both men get back to their feet, Jimmy fires in with a right hand that connects with the side of Oppenheimer’s face, rocking him back a step. Kevin lands a right hand of his own, putting a little more room between the two. Jimmy then fires in with a kick to the midsection, doubling Kevin over. Instead of returning to an upright position, Kevin charges forewards, driving his shoulder into Jimmy’s gut and driving him backwards, drilling him into the corner, hitting back first with the turnbuckles. Mark Perletta: Kevin kept his feet moving and got enough momentum that I think that move could actually turn the match in his favor. Joey C: He’s still young, let’s see how he follows it up. Backing up a step, Oppenheimer dives in and drives his shoulder into Jimmy’s gut again, doubling him over. Standing up, Kevin grabs Smith and lifts him up off the mat into position for a fallaway slam, but after he takes a step backwards, Kevin does a backflip, slamming Big Jimmy down to the mat onto his back. Mark Perletta: That was a great move by Oppenheimer, but he inadvertently connected with the referee with his legs as he flipped over. Landon Savage: I don’t think that flip-over move would’ve led to a pinfall anyway. Maybe if he had done it from the top rope… Joey C: And NOW the genius finally sees what he did to the ref, and it was because Hector drew his attention to it! Mark Perletta: Speaking of Hector, it looks like he’s going to take advantage of this opportunity. Getting into the ring, Hector moves in and pulls Jimmy Smith up to his feet and irish whips him into the corner. Hector runs in and drills Jimmy with a Yakuza kick to the face, jarring it to the side. Before Hector can do any more damage, Kevin Oppenheimer steps in and starts saying something to Hector. Mark Perletta: I’m not sure what Kevin is saying to Hector right now, but it looks like Hector doesn’t appreciate it. Landon Savage: The tension is brewing between these two team mates, and I think… Joey C: That’s right, Hector! Take care of your business!! Mark Perletta: Having heard just about enough, Hector turned around and charged into the corner, connecting with a vicious forearm shot to the face of Jimmy Smith! Joey C: How great is that?! Once Hector backs away, he slams one more forearm shot into the face of Jimmy Smith, who collapses down to the mat. Instead of returning to the corner, Hector ducks under the top rope and heads down to the arena floor, walking off towards the ramp. Watching his opponent go, Kevin isn’t sure what to do next, conflicted about the way things went down. The referee shakes the cobwebs loose, and so Kevin Oppenheimer reaches down and takes Jimmy by the arm and drags him out of the corner. Feeling no fight left in Big Jimmy, Kevin drops to the mat and hooks the leg, going for the reluctant pinfall attempt. ONE… TWO… THREE. Josephina Colbert: Here are your winners by pinfall... Hector Rodriguez and Kevin Oppenheimer! Mark Perletta: Hector and Oppenheimer pick up the win, but clearly Kevin wasn't thrilled about what happened to directly cause the victory, and the way he was looking at Rodriguez... I'm sure they've met before. Joey C: It's highly possible, and I'm guessing they weren't friends the last time they met. Landon Savage: Yeah, that would be a safe bet. The Champion and the

Winner Gets PPV Title Shot Matt Towers vs Gigantus Awesomo Mark Perletta: In the past few weeks, two of the larger competitors on the roster – Gigantus Awesomo and Matt Towers – both made it known that they want to be the next No Limits Champions, both men wanting their shot at Issac Entragian and the belt at the upcoming pay per view. Landon Savage: Since both of them have a valid claim to want a title shot, the front office set up tonight’s third match of the evening, with the winner getting the title shot. Joey C: Both of these guys are prime examples of what the No Limits Division is all about. Matt Towers isn’t going to use tables and chairs and frying pans and barbwire bats in a match, but if he gets his huge hands around your throat? Say goodnight, it’s OVER. Mark Perletta: And what we’ve seen thus far from Gigantus Awesomo, he’s a tough guy to stop. I’ve seen that guy take some punishments and keep coming back for more, and I haven’t seen him back down from anybody just yet. Landon Savage: Courage or Stupidity, you be the judge. Awesomo’s a big guy, he’s tough as nails, but his career isn’t going to last very long if he doesn’t wise up about certain things and change his approach. Mark Perletta: I think that’s part of the reason why Orlando is here, trying to keep Awesomo from being a danger to himself. Joey C: I was surprised when I saw that Orlando didn’t come to the ring with Awesomo for this match, but as we saw, he had a reason for not being there. Mark Perletta: We’ll get to that in due time, but for now, let’s get to the action and find out who will be the Number One Contender to the No Limits Title going into DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. Start : Footage from the Match After landing a huge clothesline that sent Gigantus Awesomo to the mat, Matt Towers slowly and methodically brings Awesomo to his knees. Roaring out to the crowd, Towers starts bringing the hammer down on Awesomo with clubbing blows to the middle of the back. Awesomo yells out in pain as Towers continues the succession of blows. After about fifteen stiff shots, Awesomo falls forward onto his stomach. Joey C: Towers has been soooo dominating in this match so far. Somebody give him a title, already. Mark Perletta: I agree that he’s been dominating - and not just in this match, but every match he’s wrestled in here in LEGACY - but he’s going to have to earn a title like everybody else. Not to mention, he’s had great help with Mr. Togo and Shaun Sullivan at his side tonight. Landon Savage: He very well could “earn” that shot here, if he puts away Awesomo. Towers wanders a moment, looking out at the crowd, and raises both arms high in the air before letting out a war cry that shakes the foundations of the arena. Mark Perletta: I’m not sure letting Awesomo gain some energy back is a good idea. Then again, Towers’ lack of stamina probably requires a bit of the ole “chop and wander”. Awesomo starts getting to his feet, as Towers looks on at Awesomo with an arrogant smile on his face. Once Awesomo gets to his feet, Towers dashes forward with a knee raised, and connects square in the temple of Awesomo. Crowd: “OOOOOOOOHHH!” Awesomo flops over onto his back, and Towers waves both hands in the air as if to say “He’s done.”. Towers plants a boot onto the chest of Awesomo, and the referee initiates a count. Joey C: Haha, that’s it Matt! Show ‘em who the real giant is in LEGACY! One! Mark Perletta: Not sure one boot is gonna be enough.. Two! Awesomo easily gets a shoulder up and smacks away Towers boot, which garners a laugh from the seemingly unstoppable monstrosity. Mark Perletta: What’s this? Joey C: Oh great, it’s the albino. All of a sudden, the No Limits Champion, Isaac Entragian, saunters his way down to the ring with the No Limits Championship draped over his shoulder. The fans all buzz in excitement as Towers and Awesomo battle it out in the ring. Paying little attention to Matt Towers, who has eyed Isaac immediately, Isaac makes his way to the announcer’s table. Landon Savage: Looks like the No Limits Champion has a thing or two to say. Grabbing a chair from the time keeper’s table, he sets it down right next to Landon Savage. Motioning for a spare head set, Landon gives him one and Isaac puts it on. Mark Perletta: Welcome, Isaac. Surprised to see you out here right now, in the middle of a match. Then again, given the participants, I’m really not. Isaac Entragian: Greetings, gentlemen. As for why I am out here? I am the LORD of the No Limits Division. It's the perfect playground for one such as me. There are no restrictions...I can do as much harm as my twisted little heart desires. But in order for me to truly carve my legend into this division... unlike Diego de Cardenas... I need to study my opposition, from top to bottom. Whether your name is Mostafa Bashir or Matt Towers. Joey C: Yeah, yeah... we all know you just came out here to marvel at the site of Matt Towers - the REAL giant in LEGACY. Matt Towers looks outside at Mr. Togo and Shaun, who both clap with great approval of Towers’ offense. Awesomo fights to get to his feet, as Towers stands back a couple of feet to watch his opposition struggle. Towers then raises both arms high into the air as if he’s going to club down with a double axe-handle smash, but Awesomo sees this and smashes Towers in the gut with an elbow. Isaac Entragian: Baby Huey does not impress me. People have been raving over him because he's a giant... and all I have to say is look at me! I’m seven-feet tall and 300 lbs, and am the only superstar in LEGACY that can look Towers in the eyes without standing on my tip-toes. Mark Perletta: Very true, Isaac. Joey C: Please... Landon Savage: What you say is true, champ. But the fact of the matter is that Matt Towers still has a hundred pounds on you, easily. Awesomo follows up some elbows with some forearm shots to the face, and the seven-foot bastard reels back a bit, leaning on the ropes. Awesomo makes a run for the other side of the ring, and rebounds off the ropes. Towers wanders forward a little bit, and Awesomo connects with a STIFF clothesline! Towers tries to fight the impact, but ends up landing flat on his ass! Isaac Entragian: He does, and ninety-nine pounds of it lies in his massive ego. I've been in the ring with him before and I know what he's capable of. So, he and the rest of his diaper squad will see soon enough just exactly why he can’t beat ME. Awesomo sees Towers sitting on his ass, and seizes the opportunity by running straight at him with a running boot! Crowd: “OOOOOOOOOOH!” The deafening smack of boot meeting skull sends the crowd into a frenzy as the Big mean Bastard lays flat on his back. Shaun Sullivan starts going ballistic outside of the ring, and quickly hops onto the apron to distract the referee. Mark Perletta: Now this is ridiculous. Awesomo finally gets some offense in, and the distractions from the outside once again demolish hope. Joey C: Matt Towers is a smart human being, Mark. He realized he was going to need to bring outside reenforcements to take care of the referee’s inadequate officiating. So far, the plan is working. Landon Savage: You mean “take advantage” of inadequate officiating. With the referee being distracted, Mr. Togo hops up onto the apron with his cane, swings, and connects square into the back of Awesomo’s skull, breaking the cane clean in half. Awesomo goes down, and Togo drops down onto Matt Towers, slapping him in the face to get him aware of his surroundings. Mr. Togo then rolls out of the ring, as Towers crawls his four-hundred pound frame onto Gigantus Awesomo. Mark Perletta: This is disgusting. One! Two! Joey C: Yes! It’s over! Thr- Awesomo kicks out! The crowd goes wild as Awesomo somehow manages to get a shoulder up, as scattered wooden debris from the cane causes the referee to grow concerned over possible illegalities. Towers climbs to his feet, and leans back into the ropes, gaining a moment’s rest as Awesomo slowly climbs to his as well. Landon Savage: Since you’re still here and we’ve already discussed Towers... what do you think of Awesomo? Isaac Entragian: He’s a masked court jester, and has been a thorn in my side for quite long enough. I believe deep down he's really still sore about that match where I tossed him out of the ring and all the hopes he had of challenging for the No Limit gold were extinguished. Towers lunges forward with a behemoth sized clothesline... but Awesomo ducks it! Towers turns around, and Awesomo connects with a standing big boot! Towers is rocked, and Awesomo charges towards the ropes. Towers turns around and Awesomo connects with ANOTHER running boot to the face, and Towers goes up and over the top rope to the outside! Mark Perletta: Awesomo with some momentum now! Joey C: Shaun! Mr. Togo! Consult your man! He NEEDS you! Landon Savage: And I think they’re doing exactly that. Mr. Togo and Shaun Sullivan try to get the big man to his feet, but are having great difficulty in doing so. Awesomo takes advantage of their distraction... and begins ascending the top rope! Mark Perletta: Oh my God! What is Awesomo doing?! Joey C: Matt! Mr. Togo! Shaun! LOOK OUT! Landon Savage: Oh this is going to be bad... Gaining safe footing on the top turnbuckle, the six-foot seven, two-hundred-seventy pound Gigantus Awesomo stands up completely vertical on the top turnbuckle, and everyone in attendance starts flashing their cameras at the awe-inspiring site. Then, without thinking, the Masked Monstrosity LEAPS as high as he can into the air, and CRASHES down onto ALL THREE individuals! Landon Savage: AIR AWESOMO!!! Crowd: “LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE!” Mark Perletta: That was one of the most amazing aerial feats I’ve ever seen in LEGACY history. Joey C: Unbelievable! Awesomo gets to his feet and looks down at all three men on their backs on the outside. Grabbing Towers by his hair, he starts pulling The Big Mean Bastard to his feet. He rolls him into the ring, and quickly slides in. Towers starts getting to his feet, and Awesomo points up to the air again. Mark Perletta: No way! He’s not thinking of doing it again! Landon Savage: I’m tellin’ you guys... somebody better get the “AIR AWESOMO” tees into production after this match! Joey C: Come on Towers! Isaac Entragian: The kid has heart, but in the way of brains he's lacking considerably. That's why he has to use Orlando to do all the shit talking for him. Putting on a new mask and acting hard doesn't change your core personality, Awesomo. This vain attempt at going to the top rope will prove it. Awesomo begins climbing to the top turnbuckle for the second time in the match, and Towers fully gets to his feet, albeit wobbly. Looking up at Awesomo standing vertical on the top rope, the crowd clamors with excitement! Mark Perletta: Nowhere to go! Awesomo leaps forward, and Towers catches him on the way down and uses the momentum to turn it into a devastating powerslam! Mark Perletta: Oh my! 6.2 on the Richter scale! Joey C: Towers hooks a leg! One! Landon Savage: It’s over! Two! Mark Perletta: It’s o- Thr- Awesomo gets a shoulder up! Mark Perletta: JUST in the nick of time! My God! The comedy act almost came to an end. Word of advice from me to you, Awesomo... focus. Focus on playing to your strengths - if you even have any. While you’re at it, focus on Reverend Caine and the surprise he's got coming for you. Don't focus on me, unless you want double the trouble. Towers starts bringing Awesomo to his feet, and scoops him up over his shoulder. Awesomo slides down the back, and wraps Towers arms up like he’s going for a backslide. Suddenly, as Awesomo bends over with Towers laying completely on his back, Awesomo shakily positions Towers arms so he’s holding him near his underarms. Then, with great strength, Awesomo lifts UP into the air, and falls forward with a crucifix powerbomb! Mark Perletta: Where the HELL did he get the energy for that?! Landon Savage: It’s over! One! Two!!! SHOULDER UP!!! Awesomo looks angry as he gets to his knees, but then the lights go out and an eerie sound is heard, a creepy humming fading in from all around the arena. Mark Perletta: What the hell?! Suddenly, The lights come back on, but start flashing, as the LEGACY Vision Jumbotron comes on. Back in the locker room area, Awesomo’s manager Orlando is laid out next to a broken mirror and a smashed television monitor. His face is covered in blood, and the letters “D.F.G.” written in blood on the wall, obviously from Orlando’s unconscious body. The lights stop flashing and the humming stops, and Awesomo is on his feet, standing near the ropes, looking shocked. Isaac Entragian: Red’s a good color for that clown. Landon Savage: I don’t know what’s going on here, but Awesomo had this thing won. Joey C: Come on, Towers! Seize it! Towers starts getting to his feet, and as Awesomo turns around, Towers lunges upwards into a choke around the neck with one hand. Placing his free hand on Awesomo’s back for support in the lift, Towers lifts Awesomo high up into the air, spins around, and DRIVES Awesomo to the mat with a thunderous chokeslam! Joey C: YES! Falling Towers! Mark Perletta: This one’s over. One! Landon Savage: What a chokeslam! Two!! Isaac Entragian: You see what not being focused gets you? How disheartening... Three!!! Josephina Colbert: Here is your winner by pinfall and now the Number One Contender to the No Limits Championship... Matt... Towers!!! Mark Perletta: Getting the pinfall here tonight, Matt Towers earns himself a shot at Issac Entragian and the No Limits Title, and that match will take place at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. Joey C: Yeah, and you can give an assist to whoever the freak is who attacked Orlando backstage. I'm guessing that he's going to be at the pay per view. Landon Savage: Yeah, that's PROBABLY what those letters written on the wall in blood stood for, Joe. He's clearly sending a message, whoever he is, and I can't wait to find out. The Foundation's Future
We cut backstage after the war that Matt Towers and Gigantus Awesomo put on, and we're focused in a hallway. Walking towards the camera is Alex Harmston, which brings out some boos from the crowd. Bringing even more boos though, is the #89 Steve Smith Carolina Panthers jersey he's wearing. Harmston's walking with a purpose, and turns a corner... ...to run into the one and only Smith Cartwright, who draws some cheers from the crowd. Decked out in a suit, he also seems to be focused on something else, but stops when he sees Alex. Alex Harmston: Smith, just the man I was looking for. Smith Cartwright: Alex, can it wait until tomorrow? Harmston looks a little upset, but smirks regardless. Alex Harmston: Not really. Listen. Who am I going against at the next little pay per view that Robbie's putting on? Cartwright smiiles. Smith Cartwright: Well Alex, we had thought about putting you with Ray Wi... Alex Harmston: Don't even finish that thought. I've been dealing with Ray for the last three years. He's old news. Do I get a shot at X? Maybe Issac? Smith laughs. Not a good sign for The Foundation. Smith Cartwright: Well, no. See, what I was going to say, was that we had some thoughts about who to book you against, but we actually had a request for a match from Katsuro Yoshida and Shinya Nori about a singles rematch. It's Alex's turn to laugh now. Smiling, he looks at Cartwright with a "You've gotta be joking" look. Alex Harmston: The guy who hasn't beaten me yet wants another shot? I made him tap already, and he couldn't get it done with hotpants in his corner... what makes him think he can do it this time? Smith Cartwright: Well, you made him tap, but you had to use the ropes for leverage... Ouch, that one stung Harmston, who's looking a little more upset now. Smith Cartwright: ...and you didn't even get involved in the ending of the tag match last card. It was Eli who beat him, not you. Alex Harmston: Correction, WE beat them... it was a team effort. Smith Cartwright: Be that as it may, this match was still requested, and quite frankly, we have no reason to say no to it in the front office. Alex Harmston: I've already got two wins over him. I don't need to deal with him again. Smith Cartwright: Fine then... you can sit out the Pay Per View at home. The crowd cheers a bit, not only for Smith's standing up to Harmston, but also the thought of Harmston not being at the Pay Per View. Alex Harmston: You'd really cut me from the card? I call bullshit on that one. You couldn't cut The Foundation from one of your marquee events. Smith Cartwright: Can and Will. Now, do you want to be on the card or not? Alex Harmston: For me to be on the card, I have to face off against Katsuro again? Smith Cartwright: That would be what I've been saying for the last few minutes. Harmston smirks. Alex Harmston: Then I'll be there, but once I make him tap again, I'm expecting to be moving onto bigger and better things. Smith Cartwright: If you beat him. Smith walks off smiling, as Harmston just blinks, looking at Smith. Alex Harmston: If? Man's a walking corpse. All I have to do is make him realize it. In Defense of Limits
"Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin explodes over the public address system and out walks Cronos Diamante dressed in full-battle gear: midnight blue tights with yellow trim, 7 letters in kanji down the right side. As per usual, he’s wearing his LEGACY signature shirt. Joey C: What's he doing dressed in wrestling attire? He's not booked tonight. Landon Savage: If I had to make I guess I would say he's going to try to get himself a match tonight, or else is looking for a fight. Mark Perletta: He doesn't look pissed, but I think his actions are speaking louder than any words can express right now. Cronos slides under the bottom rope and politely asks for the microphone from Josephina Colbert. Cronos mouths a thank you and she gives a surprised smile; not being used to anybody politely asking for the microphone. Cronos Diamante: We all… The fans of New Orleans begin cheering and chanting "Cronos, Cronos, Cronos." Cronos, being completely caught off guard, spins around to all corners of the ring as selected highlights begin to play on the LEGACY Vision jumbotron screen. Cronos Diamante: It's been a long time since I've received this kind of reaction. Thank you, New Orleans. Landon Savage: I think Cronos has finally managed to convince the fans he's not looking for a swerve. Mark Perletta: About time. The view screen shows the true fighting that happened during the match. Cronos and the fans watch for a minute or two before Cronos brings the microphone to his lips and starts. Cronos Diamante: There was some good wrestling in that match. Diego was actually fighting clean and had gotten the better of me a couple times. Especially with that Frankensteiner reverse… I'm still a little sore. But then we have this… The view screen switches to the cheating during the match. Cronos Diamante: I'm sure you've all seen this match. And if you haven't, there's your highlight reel. You saw how he won. This wasn't a No Limits match yet Diego de Cardenas decides to break the rules and snatch a win away from me using tactics befitting a No Limits match. Cronos pauses for a moment as he looks back at the fans. Cronos Diamante: We all know who decided he could disrespect me. We all know that’s all he’s good at. And I have something to say to him. So Diego… grab your slut and get your ass out here! RIGHT NOW!!! Landon Savage: Just like I said… he's definitely not satisfied with the result of that match. Joey C: You can't say slut on the show though. You just… that's wrong. Mark Perletta: Well it looks like Cronos Diamante is going to stand there in the ring and wait to see if Diego shows up, and I'm not sure if that's going to happen or not. The camera remains on Cronos, who stands there waiting, arms resting on the top rope, facing the entrance stage as he waits. A few moments pass and then Santana’s latin beats start to play and then after the opening guitar begins, Diego de Cardenas walks out from the back. Unlike Cronos, he’s not wearing ring attire, and despite Cronos’ demands, Hannah Perez isn’t with him. Cronos Diamante: Cut the damn music! Cronos wastes no time at all as Diego’s music is cut off almost before it even began. Diego doesn’t seem to be happy about it at all. Cronos points down to the three very important red words on the canvass of his black shirt. Cronos Diamante: This slogan. It’s not just this shirt. This is me. This is WHO… I… AM! You disrespected me in that match. You seemed so desperate to prove you could win without cheating, Diego. To prove you’re some pound for pound wrestler. But you couldn’t do that, could you? You proved me right. But in doing so, you pissed me off! Obviously not intimidated, Diego cuts him off. Diego de Cardenas: I don’t have anything to prove to you, Diamante. Not a damn thing! You want to see that I’m a great wrestler, there are libraries of videos you can watch to see what I’ve done in Mexico and Europe and Japan! I did what I have to do to win a match…. Something you should understand just as well as anybody else! Oh… wait… you don’t do that anymore… A smirk forms on Diego’s face. Cronos Diamante: Wipe that smirk off your face you cowardice bastard. I saw you talking to Intern Avery. The fear you had in your voice when you spoke to him about Issac. The same fear you exhibited when you turned around to face me. You may say you have nothing to prove, kid. But I’ve had my wins and championships too, kid. So I have nothing to prove to you either. So neither of us has anything to prove to each other. But… Cronos takes a long pause and he doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t grin. He doesn’t smirk. He makes absolutely no facial expression to exhibit any form of emotion. He simply stares a hole right through Diego. Cronos Diamante: Starting right this moment, I’m going to do exactly what it takes to win. I’m going to do EVERYTHING… IT… TAKES… TO… WIN! At the Pay Per View, Diego. You and I are gonna dance again. But it’s going to be a No Limits Match. And if you think what Issac did to you is rough… why don’t you wait to see what I’m going to do to you. You don’t stand a cotton picking chance in hell… boy. Diego lets out a laugh and follows it right up, not wasting a second. Diego de Cardenas: No chance? Me? In a No Limits Match? I made that division what it is, and you think you can just step in to MY world and beat me? I’ll face you again, I’ll step into the ring with you at the pay per view, and we can have it be under No Limits rules… but you’re the only one… the ONLY one who thinks I don’t stand a chance! Cronos smiles. Cronos Diamante: We don’t have to wait for the Pay Per View, Diego. Why don’t you come step in this ring right now and show me how you “made that division.” Slowly, Diego starts shaking his head “no”. Diego de Cardenas: As much as I’d like to kick your ass again… I’m afraid you got all dressed up in your outfit for nothing, because I’ve got tonight off… and I intend on keeping it that way. Consider this a lesson in self control. The smirk still on his face, Diego starts to walk off. Cronos Diamante: Walk away and enjoy your night then. But I bet you the fans agree with me when I say you're being nothing but a coward. Diego turns around, the smirk gone, and he glares down the isle at Cronos, who stands confident and proud in the ring. After glaring at Cronos for a moment, Diego turns around and heads backstage. Six Man Tag Match
Jake Dominion & Domination vs The Diabolik (Gryffin Anselm, Crash, James Win) Mark Perletta: As soon as I saw its booking, I knew this next match was going to be a heated one. Domination and Jake Dominion may not have even met prior to tonight’s show, but they share a common goal this evening – wanting to put a stop to the Diabolik before they gain any more momentum. Landon Savage: As the Number One Contenders, Domination has put themselves
into position to be hot on the heels of the tag team champs, and as
we’ve seen since CALL TO ARMS, Jake Dominion wants nothing MORE
than to get his hands on his former friend turned bitter rival, Crash. Landon Savage: It was a brilliant strategy, too, because when Jake Dominion gets frustrated, he gets taken off his game. With the Diabolik as strong as they are right now, Domination needs Dominion to be in top form if the three of them want to pick up a win here tonight. Mark Perletta: Well they may have frustrated Dominion by not letting him get into the ring much with Crash, but they didn’t completely take him off his game, and I think you’re underestimating what Dominion can bring to the table, even when he’s not at his best. Joey C: You know what? The only way to know what the effect of the Diabolik’s game plan was is to check out the footage from the match… so let’s get down to the ring to catch the match in progress. Start : Footage from the Match Jake Dominion has James win backed into the corner and is just laying
kicks into the mid section of James Win. Mark Perletta: Venom out at two and a quarter. Joey C: That was a close one… Crash back up and drops an elbow across Venom's throat. Crash back
up, follows his elbow with a jumping leg drop. Crash up one more time,
and falls driving his head into the shoulder of O'Reilly. Crash makes
the cover... and Jake Dominion has had enough. He rushes into the ring
not just to break up the pin, but to get his hands on Crash. The other
two men of Diabolik want no part of that. Crash, rolls off and slides out of the ring while both Win and Anselm
cut off Jake and begin throwing fists and pushing him back into his
corner... which brings in Rage. Rage and the All Star brawl and both
men spill to the outside via a Rage clothlesline. Inside Gryffin and
Jake are brawling. Gryffin takes Jake down with a double legged taked
down. Josephina Colbert: The winners of the match... Crash, Gryffin Anselm, and the "All Star" James Win... DDDDDDIIIIAAABOOLLLLIIIKKKK!!! The three men grab raise each other's arms by the wrist as Domination and Jake Dominion glare down at them. Joey C: Beautifully fought match by The Diabolik, and they've got all the momentum headed into DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. Mark Perletta: Sure, they may have a leg up on their three opponents, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. The last thing Trent Logan and Domination needed is more motivation to take out The Diabolik in the tag match, and now they have it. And Jake Dominion... he's going to step into that cage match a rabid dog, even madder than before, all thanks to this match. Landon Savage: Jake Dominion isn't going to be any more angry at Crash because of how this match went down. Dominion already wanted to tear Crash's head off ever since Crash turned his back on him at CALL TO ARMS... I don't think there's any way to increase the hatred Dominion has for Crash. Mark Perletta: You make an interesting point, but either way, I wouldn't want to be any of the members of the Diabolik at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. The Student & The
Teacher
As the rhythmic Celtic beat picks up, and the soft sound of a woman's voice is heard, Stein walks out from behind the curtains – obviously not to his normal music. Some recognizes the song as Loreena McKennitt's "The Mummer's Dance". Stein makes his way to the ring as the fans stand on their feet, cheering the man that took Loco Martinez to the limit before he won the LEGACY World Championship. Stein stands in the middle of the ring, sliding a microphone out of his back pocket and up to his mouth. The Lights: Alright, alright. Cut the music, cut the music. The music fades away as he speaks. The Lights: Now I know that I haven't exactly been Mr. Activity the last couple months, but Robby, I did announce my commitment to LEGACY not too long ago, and I didn't get a match. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it ME that brought back YOUR champion from the depths of failure? Wasn't it ME that got his latin ass in gear? I did what you wanted of me, and what do I get? Nothin', Rob. Nothin'. Stein begins to walk around in the ring, looking around at the fans. The Lights: And… I'm okay with that. I didn't go after Loco simply because you said to. I did it because I wanted to see him back… And he's 'dickier' that ever, but you'll have that with the man that stood in Rocky Stellar's shadow all his career. Myself, on the other hand… well, I haven't done much as of late to deserve anything. Stein dances around some more, then speaks. The Lights: So, I guess, what I'm trying to say is that I'm here, Rob. LEGACY's poster-boy is here. And I've brought my student, Kevin Oppenheimer, along with me. As Oppenheimer's music hits, Kevin walks out from the back, all ready carrying a microphone. The fans respect him for his win at Strife 24 and earlier tonight, and cheer him appropriately. Kevin stops on the top of the ramp, looking down to the ring. Kevin Oppenheimer: That's right, Danny. You did bring me here with you, and I appreciate that very much. Now I want a chance to prove to you that I have learned well, that I belong to be here, and maybe even that the student… has passed the teacher. Stein's face looks amused. Stein smirks as he puts the microphone up to his mouth. The Lights: You want a match with me? Kevin Oppenheimer: Yes. The Lights: You don't even have enough matches under your belt to count on two hands, and you want a match with me? The Lights smirks a little, then scratches his chin for a second. Kevin Oppenheimer: I’ve only had two match in Legacy so far, but we’re not exactly in the midst of my career debut, as fans all over Europe can attest to. But to answer your question… Absolutely I want a match with you, in that very ring, and I don’t want to wait. The Lights: Hmph. Well, I definitely don't have anything going on right now… and you could use the experie- Kevin Oppenheimer: I don't need the experience, I need the chance to show people what I’ve got… and if you give me a match, I will beat you, flat out. Stein chuckles a little, then puts the microphone back to his mouth. The Lights: At the pay-per-view? Kevin Oppenheimer: Why not? Stein turns away from Oppenheimer, and then snaps back. A moderate reaction rings out amongst the crowd and Dan Stein remains in the ring, watching Kevin Oppenheimer head backstage. We then cut back to the recap position as per usual after segments. Joey C: Okay, so we're going to get some kind of Student vs Teacher match at the pay per view? That's just great... a boring match filled with respectful gestures and polite clapping. Maybe it'll be the first match on the card and I can show up late. Mark Perletta: I don't know where it will end up on the card, but I'm looking forward to it. I've yet to see a Dan Stein match that I didn't enjoy watching, and Kevin Oppenheimer has shown flashes of brilliance in his first two matches here in LEGACY. There might be some of the "polite clapping", probably some other "respectful gestures", but there should also be some great wrestling involved, too. Landon Savage: Yeah, and who knows, maybe Kevin Oppenheimer doesn't like Dan Stein and he's going to flip out on him and pay him back for mis-treatment during training or something. Could turn into a fairly heated contest. Joey C: We can only hope. A Few Moments Later
After The Lights and Oppenheimer are both backstage, the lights around the arena have dimmed, and silence is overly, prevalent. It seems as if the action has quietened. RAY’S UP RAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIISEEEEEE UUUUUUUUUUPPP Just as soon as we've grown accustomed to the lack of noise, 'Desire to Fire' by Machinehead roars over the public address system, causing the fans to come to their feet, in order to see one of LEGACY's new blood, 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott!! He marches down the aisle way, bathed in a great reaction from the capacity crowd, slapping some hands as he goes, and darts under the bottom rope. Ray doesn't seem keen to hang around and is eager to get into the ring and clasp his hands around a microphone. The abruptness of the music playing and the situation as a whole, has piqued interest and put complete attention on the young Welshman. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...Thanks for your attention. The more I come out here, the more it really stands out to me how much of a privilege it is to be here in LEGACY. Everyday, it makes me want to prove my worth to each and everyone of you. Thank you. A great roar of appreciation comes from the people, prompting a smile from Willmott who flexes his fingers against the microphone, continuously. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...You've shown me an incredible amount of support early on, and I absolutely appreciate that. That's partially why I'm out here tonight, because there's a part of me that hopes, I can further cement that reputation, down the line. He clears his throat. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...A few weeks back, I beat Alexander Harmston at Call to Arms. I felt it was a great, competitive match, and I was proud to be a part of it. So a few weeks later, I wanted to echo that, I wanted to show how much it meant to me, by shaking the hand of Harmston backstage, to show him I cared. I was willing to let bygones be bygones and go on from that point on, as competitors. Things ... didn't quite go to plan. A brief sigh escapes Willmott's lips. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...He crashes my head into a wall, then stomps down on my body when I was vulnerable! He takes advantage of me, using a momentary act of comradary, to make an example out of me! And that down right pissed me off! That got me hot. I'm nobodies stepping stone! He glares, callously at the camera. ‘Red Hot’ Ray Willmott -- …So I come down the aisle, and I make my case clear to Harmston. I come to show him that he can't just push me around, when I'm trying to make amends. I show my face, we get into a scuffle, and he backs away. Ray bows his head 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I got a little naive and figured he was just retreating. He'd had enough for one day, and was leaving to fight another day. I'm used to that. I've seen the tactic before, it's not uncommon. He runs a hand through his hair. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I didn't expect to get my head sick flipped piledriven into the ring canvas when my back was turned, and have Eli Storm standing over me with Harmston at his side, both guys deliberating as of what to do next! I wasn't anticipating a fight on two fronts! And that seems to be where I stand right now. Still a little bewildered, but a whole hell of a lot, agitated! He growls. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...Eli Storm, you and I aren't strangers, that's clear. But as far as LEGACY is concerned, you've interfered in my business, poking your nose where it doesn't belong, and frankly, you're pushing boundaries you don't have it in your back to sustain! I came here for the sole purpose of success, I was made aware of LEGACY's existence by Rob Belote, and he told me, that he would give me the opportunities, providing I could give him the quality of matches! So, I came up with a little idea, I'd like to share with all of you ... Willmott's full attention is on the camera. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ... You and me, Willmott and Storm, at the August Pay-Per-View, Best 2 out of 3 falls, no limits, no frickin' excuses! A huge roar comes out of the New Orleans crowd 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I like to settle all my business in here, Eli. I like to do it FACE TO FACE, without cheap shots or sneak attacks! By accepting this challenge, you'll prove to me you're of equal merit, and that you at least have one bollock left in your boxer shorts! All you have to do is say, yes! What's it gonna be, man? Willmott balls his eyes up hard, and then flicks his attention to the entrance ramp, with the crowd buzzing, some hoping to see 'The Incredible One' walk his way down, to accept the challenge. All of a sudden "Ladies and Gentlemen" explodes through the speakers as Eli Storm makes his way down to the ring. Eli slides into the ring and looks at Ray for a moment before shaking his head. He is handed a mic and just looks at Ray. Eli Storm: You know, I could of swore, that I heard you say that you are challenging me to a match? Willmott smirks, and actually puts a hand to the side of Eli's head; finger extended, and plugs it deep into 'The Incredible One's' right ear. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...Now I cleared the blockage, want me to repeat what I just ... Storm raises his free hand in Ray's face. Eli Storm: You know Ray...I heard you. Loud and clear. It's just that, last time me and you got into a wrestling ring, one on one...you ended up losing that ROS Championship. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...Things change. Storm: Yes...and just as I was that much better then you then...I'm that much better then you now. Storm steps back and thinks about something. Storm: In this...wrestling ring, you have yet to beat me Ray. Why would you even want to embarrass yourself like that again. Willmott cocks his head 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I believe I am better, no matter what the past shows. I believe I can and I will beat you. That quite simply, you are a blemish on my record, I am ready to erase! Storm: If that is the case...lets up the ante. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I'm listening. Storm: Let's take it back to how it all got started and make this a 2 out of 3....Submissons match. Willmott quirks an eyebrow 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...No Pinfalls. No Countouts. No Disqualifications. No Wrestling Hold Barred. That about the sum total of your suggestion? Storm: A good old fashion, grappling match...that is if you are up for it. 'Red Hot' Ray Willmott -- ...I'm in. Willmott draws himself in closer to Eli Storm without hesitation and gives him a staredown, which has cameras flashing in the arena and fans cheering Eli smiles and raises Ray's hand. Storm: Ladies and gentlemen....enjoy this right here...the last time you shall see Ray Willmott... Storm brings Ray close. Storm: Mobile. Ray smiles and goes to walk away, but quickly turns around and nails Storm in the jaw with a vicious looking Superkick. Storm crumbles on impact. Ray grabs Storm and whips him into the corner. Ray steps back and smiles. Willmott gets a running start and nails a Yakuza kick right into the shoulder area of Storm. Storm just crumbles in the corner as Ray just winks before leaving the ring. 'Desire to Fire' by Machinehead erupts over the PA system, as Willmott walks up the aisle way, with Storm still not stirring in the centre of the ring. Main Event Tag Match
Stephen Rawlings & Rocky Stellar vs Loco Martinez & John Thomas Mark Perletta: And it is now time for tonight’s big main event, and in this tag match we have three former world champions, two of them already Hall of Famers. Landon Savage: What makes it really interesting is that those two Hall of Famers made their name primarily based on their tag team accomplishments, which they came about while tagging up together in various organizations all over the world… but tonight, they are facing one another. Joey C: That’s because Loco Martinez got smart, and Rocky Stellar has been replaced by the younger, more talented John Thomas! Mark Perletta: This isn’t the first time that Rocky Stellar and Loco Martinez have been at odds, and whenever they face off, it’s always a big match. Let’s not forget that Stellar’s partner in this match is the former LEGACY World Champion, Stephen Rawlings, and this match serves as a preview for the main event at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS between he and Loco Martinez. Landon Savage: It also serves as a preview for another big match at the pay per view, don’t forget about Rocky Stellar vs John Thomas. Mark Perletta: Certainly an interesting progression of events, with John Thomas saying he wants to cement his personal legacy with a big win at a pay per view event against Rocky Stellar, possibly even ending his career. Joey C: Yeah, but Stellar has yet to answer the challenge because, as everybody is clearly seeing, he’s a coward. Mark Perletta: I’d say Stellar answered loud enough by agreeing to be Rawlings’ partner for this match, and the match between John Thomas and Rocky Stellar has been booked to take place at DESITNED FOR GREATNESS, so it’s clear that Stellar isn’t backing down from the challenge. Landon Savage: You can tell that Stellar wants John Thomas to shut up. JT is talking a lot, as a confident young man is prone to do, and he’s backing up a man Stellar used to consider a friend, so it makes sense that Stellar’s going to be upset. Mark Perletta: Going into this match I was interested to see how Loco & Stellar were going to react when they get into the ring with one another. To find out the answer to that and to see who gets the momentum going into the pay per view, let’s get down to the action. Start : Footage from the Match With Rawlings’ head under his arm, Loco sets up to go for a ddt, but when he attempts the move, it gets blocked. Instead of pulling his head out from the champion’s grasp, Stephen grabs onto Loco’s waistband and flips him up and over his head, slamming him down onto his back with a Northern Lights suplex, bridging into a pinfall position. The referee slides into position and makes the count… ONE! TWO!! NO!! Loco Martinez shoulders out just after the two count. Getting up off the mat, Stephen Rawlings quickly contemplates his options, and then instead of continuing in on the attack, Stephen Rawlings walks over to his corner and tags Rocky Stellar into the mat, getting a huge reaction from the fans. Mark Perletta: And now for the first time in this match, we get the chance to see Rocky Stellar and Loco Martinez in the ring together. Landon Savage: If they DON’T fight, this will be a HUGE disappointment! Joey C: It won’t be a total disappointment if we get to see John Thomas and Rocky Stellar in the ring together again. As Stellar gets into the ring, he stares at Loco, who is getting up off the mat. When Loco gets to his feet, Rocky Stellar extends a hand towards him, waiting to see how Loco Martinez responds. Looking down at the out-stretched hand, Loco’s face starts to change… his expression twists and turns into a smile. Just as a smile starts to form on Stellar’s face, Loco reaches out his hand and then starts to laugh as his hand falls short of reaching Stellar’s, all of his fingers tightening into a fist except for the middle one. Mark Perletta: And with one little act, the fans go from excited cheering to disappointed booing. Joey C: I love it! The look on Rocky’s face changes to, and then he fires a right hand that connects with Loco’s face, rocking him back a step and sending an explosion of cheers through the crowd! Rocky Stellar fires in with another right hand, rocking Loco backwards, again. A third shot sends Loco Martinez down to the mat. The cheers stop, however, because as Stellar goes to pick Loco up off the mat, John Thomas gets into the ring and sends Stellar down to one knee with a chop block. Mark Perletta: There’s some of the John Thomas / Rocky Stellar action you were looking for. Grabbing Rocky by the head, John lifts Stellar up to his feet and then starts nailing him with hard right hands, and blood begins to trickle down Stellar’s forehead. The referee steps in and gets between John and Rocky, moving John back towards his corner. As Rocky starts getting up off the mat, he turns around, looking for his opponent. When he gets to his feet, Stellar finds Loco and walks over, reaching down to pull him up to his feet, and Loco drills him with a low blow, sending waves of booing throughout the crowd. Mark Perletta: That’s a small travesty of justice, the referee didn’t see the low blow, he was too busy getting John Thomas back out onto the apron. Landon Savage: And now, for the second time in this match, the World Champion is going to go for a ddt. With Stellar’s head under his arm, Loco looks around the arena, basking in all of the negativity the fans are verbally throwing his way, and a grin forms on his face. Before he can hit the move, however, Loco is lifted up off the mat and then thrown forward by Rocky Stellar. As the World Champion lands down onto his back, the fans erupt in cheers. Stellar doesn’t waste any time as he reaches down and grabs Rawlings by the wrist, lifting him up off the mat. Loco Martinez is sent into the corner with an irish whip, Stellar hitting his secondary target in the process as Loco’s momentum carries him to one side of the corner, knocking John Thomas off the apron. Mark Perletta: Two birds with one stone! Landon Savage: A tricky little move by Rocky Stellar, and I hope it comes back to bite him in the ass! Joey C: Why are you talking about people being bitten in the ass? Landon Savage: Shut up. Stellar moves in and takes Loco by the wrist, backs up a few steps and sends the World Champion across the ring with an irish whip, sending him into the far corner where Rawlings is waiting. Just after Loco hits the corner, Stephen Rawlings reaches over the top rope and drills Martinez with an elbow shot which jars Loco, sending him staggering towards the middle of the ring. Waiting just a few feet away is Rocky Stellar, and as soon as Loco Martinez reaches him, Rocky lifts him up, turns around and SLAMS him into the mat with a spinebuster. Mark Perletta: Rocky Stellar walks over to his corner and makes the tag in to Stephen Rawlings… but he doesn’t stay there, he goes back to where Loco Martinez is laid out on the mat… Landon Savage: And Stephen Rawlings… is going to the top rope? Taking one of Loco’s ankles in each of his hands, Stellar spreads the champion’s legs apart, and Loco struggles to get up off his back, but Stellar holds him there. Once Rawlings gets to the top rope, Stellar signals to him with a nod of the head, and Rawlings leaps off the top rope and hits a leg drop which nails Loco right in the groin, and the crowd explodes in cheers. Joey C: What a despicable move!! That used to be one of Stellar Insanity’s trademarks!! Come on, ref! Put a stop to the double team! Mark Perletta: I don’t think he’s going to have to do much of anything, because Stellar is leaving the ring on his own! Landon Savage: The damage is done. Taking Loco by the head, Stephen Rawlings lifts his opponent up off the mat and immediately whips him up and over his head into a snap suplex. Maintaining his grip, Rawlings lifts Loco up off the mat and hits a second snap suplex. Not letting go, Stephen again forces Loco up off the mat, but this time he lifts him up into the air into a vertical suplex and holds him there. A few seconds later, Stephen Rawlings jumps backwards, completing the lay-out stalling vertical suplex. Getting back to his feet, Stephen Rawlings takes Loco by the wrist and irish whips him into one of the neutral corners, and as soon as Loco hits, he flips up and over the top rope and down onto the apron. Landon Savage: If he weren’t such a nimble guy, Loco might’ve fallen all the way to the ground! Mark Perletta: He hit with such an amount of force that I’m not surprised Loco ended up on the outside… and now he’s moving across the apron, headed to where John Thomas is standing… Stephen Rawlings charges in and goes to clothesline Loco off the apron, but Loco “wakes up” just before Rawlings gets there and Loco grabs a hold of the middle rope and sends a knee shot over the middle rope, connecting right to the gut of Rawlings. Reaching over the top rope, Martinez grabs Stephen’s wrist and hops backwards off the apron, pulling Rawlings down into the top rope, letting go and shooting him back towards the middle of the ring. Sliding back into the ring, Loco immediately walks over to the corner where Stellar is standing and Loco starts yelling at his former tag team partner. The referee moves in to control the situation, but Loco refuses to back up. Stephen Rawlings gets up off the mat and sees what’s going on, but before he can get over there, he’s grabbed by the wrist from behind by John Thomas, who had just entered the ring. Still holding on to Rawlings’ wrist, John pulls him a couple feet over towards the corner and then he leaps to the top rope, pivots, and springs off, driving his knee right into Rawlings’ shoulder, driving him down to the mat. Joey C: NEW SCHOOL!! And it ROCKED!! Mark Perletta: That one was a lot faster than he normally does it… Landon Savage: And he’s outta there!! Right after hitting the move, John Thomas rolls out of the ring, getting to the outside. Shouting in to Loco Martinez to let him know that the job was done, John signals Loco to turn away from the corner where Rocky Stellar and the referee are standing, and as soon as Stephen Rawlings gets to his feet…. Joey C: LOCapitator!! Landon Savage: Loco goes for the pinfall… ONE… TWO… THREE. Josephina Colbert: And your winners of this match… John Thomas and… There’s a brief pause before the announcement continues. Josephina Colbert: …THE LEGACY Superstar… THE LEGACY World Champion… Loco… Martinez! Landon Savage: Stephen Rawlings once again getting pinned by Loco Martinez… Could this be what we see at DESTINED FOR GREATNESS? Ducking under the top rope, Rocky Stellar enters the ring and slowly walks towards Loco Martinez, stopping a few feet away from him. Mark Perletta: Now THIS should be good… Joey C: Give out another LOCapitator!! Landon Savage: I hope this better not just be a lame staredown. Mark Perletta: Something tells me John Thomas isn’t going to let that happen. Just as the staredown between Stellar and Loco begins, John Thomas slides into the ring and comes up behind Stellar. Loco breaks the silence, telling Stellar to turn around. As soon as Rocky turns to look, John Thomas grabs him by the wrist, twists around and DROPS Stellar with his sick falling neckbreaker drop. The chorus of boos ring out from all over the arena, and both John and Loco have huge grins on their faces. The booing changes to cheers as Stephen Rawlings gets back into the ring (after having rolled out of the ring not long after being pinned) and drills John Thomas with a running forearm shot that takes him off his feet. Before Rawlings can attack him, Loco Martinez slides out of the ring, and John Thomas joins him, rolling out of the ring without even getting to his feet. Walking backwards up the ramp with John Thomas at one side and his hired hands at the other side, Loco glares up at Stephen Rawlings, then smirks as he looks over at his LEGACY World Title, then shrugs his shoulders. The show ends with a shot of Stephen Rawlings, standing in the ring, glaring out at the world title and the champion. |
