Shockwave
5.18.2006

The LEGACY Tour logo shows up on a black screen and it fades out as "Awake" by Godsmack starts to play, and clips from the past four weeks replace it. The first footage shown is from the match between the Odd Cousins and the Revenge of the Nerds, which fades out into a shot of Rawlings and Turner with the World Tag Team Titles. We then see shots of John Thomas fighting Tim Jones and then Creed, followed up by a clip of Creed hitting the REIGN OF SIN on John Thomas and then lifting his newly won Television Title onto his shoulder.

Clips from the match between VooDoo and Creed are shown next, with shots of Cronos interfering in the match, brawling a bit with each of the two men involved, and then escaping, and then images from the backstage brawl involving the trio are shown. The clips that follow are from the National Title match in which Gryffin Anselm slugged it out against an already injured Greyson Blade. A clip of Marcus Marion hitting Greyson in the head with the World Heavyweight Championship preceeds a clip of Gryffin picking up the win and being given the National Title. A still shot of Gryffin standing over Greyson with the belt in hand is shown, and then fades out into a black and white shot of Chivalric watching high above the ring from the rafters, followed immediately by quick footage of Gryffin having laid out Jimmy Smith and then coming to the ring where Chivalric waits, only for the lights to go out and then Chivalric end up gone.

Next we see a clip of Dan Stein and Herbert J Moxley from their tag match last week, followed by a clip of Cassidy and Conor from the same match, which is followed by a clip of the Sky High Exhibition Match with Dan Stein and Stephen Rawlings battling, seeing clips of each of them using their own style of offense. We then see John Thomas waiting on the entrance ramp during the introduction and HUGE crowd reaction last week when Loco Martinez showed up for the tag match against Dominion and Wolfson. Clips from that match are shown, ending on Wolfson and Dominion retreating up the ramp. A clip is shown that ends with Marcus Marion putting Jimmy Smith into the camel clutch. The next-to-last image we see before the show officially opens: Marcus Marion standing in the middle of the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship belt over his shoulder, grinning from ear to ear, Susan and Nicole standing behind him on either side. The final image we see is of Greyson Blade standing backstage, angrily watching Marcus Marion on a flat screen plasma monitor.

TONIGHT'S LINEUP

The show opens on a shot of Mark Perletta and Joey C sitting behind a desk that resembles what you would see anchors sit behind in the studio of a sports news program such as Sports Center. Behind them is an elaborate backdrop which includes the LEGACY Tour logo.

Mark Perletta: Welcome to another LEGACY Tour edition of Shockwave, I'm your host, Mark Perletta, and joining me for tonight's recap, as always, Joey C.

Joey C: A little over two weeks away from the pay per view, the bookings for tonight's show surprised me a bit when I saw them. I wasn't expecting to see EVERY SINGLE TITLE on the line this close to a pay per view.

Mark Perletta: If there's one thing I've found in the first four Shockwaves of the LEGACY Tour, it's that the front office doesn't want to just let things settle. If people have strife with one another, a match is booked as soon as possible.

Joey C: As we saw last week in what I've been calling the "Chaotic Shockwave", not ALL of the matches that get booked end up happening.

Mark Perletta: All the matches booked for this week, including the two which were originally supposed to be happeneing last week, do in fact take place this week, which I can say with confidence, since this is a recap show, and well, we've already seen what has happened in all SEVEN of the matches.

Joey C: Yeah but because we're getting paid not to, we won't spoil what happened.

Mark Perletta: Because there are so many matches on tonight's card, lets get right down to the first match up, which is for the National Title.

NATIONAL TITLE MATCH
Jimmy Smith vs Gryffin Anselm (c)

Joey C: This match got set up last week when we thought we were going to get a match between Jimmy Smith and Chivalric, but being the "Chaotic Shockwave" that it was, that match didn't happen.

Mark Perletta: Wanting to get his hands on Mason Bishop, Gryffin Anselm attacked Jimmy Smith backstage, and instead of rescheduling that match for this week, Jimmy Smith asked for a match against Anselm, and because the front office is getting harder on backstage violence, they decided this match would not only happen, but the National Title would be on the line as well.

Joey C: As things got started off, you could tell right away that Jimmy Smith was determined to make his mark here on the LEGACY Tour AND to get some retaliation on Gryffin Anselm for what happened last week.

Mark Perletta: Big Jimmy started things off quickly, and as he kept in on the attack, he started to look like he was going to start wearing things down, but after a huge shoulder block on the return from an irish whip, Gryffin took control.

Joey C: From that point Jimmy Smith struggled to stay in the match, and after escaping a gorilla press attempt by Gryffin and turning it into a reverse ddt, he was able to turn things back in his favor.

Mark Perletta: The former two-time SWA Intercontinental Champion was able to hold his own against the National Champion, and after that reverse ddt, he held the offensive for a couple minutes.

Joey C: He started getting a little too confident, though, and he figured that a high risk move would pay off with a National Title victory. Did it work? Lets find out.

Start : Footage from the Match

Having knocked Gryffin down to the mat with a dropkick, Jimmy Smith runs towards the ropes, and on the return he jumps and nails a falling elbow drop onto the back of Gryffin. Spotting an opportunity, Big Jimmy exits the ring and slowly climbs the turnbuckles, and once on top he takes a moment and lifts his hands into the air, waiting for Gryffin to start to get to his feet.

After getting a decent reaction from the anti-Anselm crowd, Smith looks back towards the middle of the ring where his opponent is almost to his feet, so he sets both feet up onto the top turnbuckle and then leaps off in an attempt to hit a double ax-handle, but while Jimmy's in mid-air Gryffin turns around, having seen what Smith was planning on doing, and he side-steps and nails Jimmy with a forearm shot to the midsection, sending Jimmy down to the mat.

Picking Jimmy Smith up off the mat, Gryffin sends him into the ropes with an irish whip, and on the return Gryffin takes two sprinting steps and jumps up, nailing Smith in the chest with his knee, doubling him over. From there, Anselm picks Jimmy up onto his shoulders and holds him there into a torture rack, but as the referee tries to ask Big Jimmy if he is going to submit, Gryffin spins him around and drops him into a Michinoku Driver, completing the move known as the Devastator. Reaching forward, Gryffin hooks the leg...

ONE!

Winner by PINFALL and STILL National Champion :
Gryffin Anselm

Mark Perletta: And so in our first title match of the night, Gryffin Anselm is able to retain his National Title against Jimmy Smith, but I have to admit, Jimmy Smith looked like he did a fairly good job in there, but the ring veteran Anselm proved to be just a little too much.

Joey C: Gryffin Anselm proves on a weekly basis to be a little too much for just about everyone. I mean, who hasn't he beaten on this roster, Marky? And let's not forget that a year ago, he beat Devastation just before Devastation went on that long winning streak that included a World Title victory.

Mark Perletta: That he did, and it might just be a matter of time before Gryffin Anselm ends up the World Champion here on the LEGACY Tour.

BACKSTAGE

The camera cuts backstage where we find Moxley standing by a Pepsi machine. He puts a dollar in and pushes a button. Nothing comes down.

Moxley: Dear goodness what is with these things? Let me think... how did Creed deal with this last week...

Herb takes a few steps back...

...springs forward...

...and runs into the machine.

*THUD*

No luck.

Moxley: Dammit. Creed must be an idiot savant with these things or something. No mountain dew and now my face hurts.

Dan Stein appears out of nowhere.

Stein: That's what you get for running face first into the machine, ya fuckin' cuntrag.

Herb is caught off guard and turns from the Pepsi machine.

Moxley: What? Me? You're the one obsessed with women's privates.

Stein: *sniffs his fingers* Yeah, it happens. When you get past being thrown out at first, let me know. So what now Moxley, are you going to attack me with a fake sword?

Moxley: It might be the best way to counter your fake personality.

Stein: Heh. hey, when was the last time you weren't stuffed in a locker?

Moxley: Don't you remember? Just last week when DJ and I dispatched of you and that beligerant rogue, McLellen.

Stein: Speaking of Conor. Looks like Disorderly Youth has your tag title shot tonight. I guess that means I am using you again.

Moxley: I'm used to it by now, "bro". besides our shot is coming up at Rise of the Elite 3. Maybe I'll see you there - but this time just remember you don't need to bring your head shots to a wrestling match.

Stein: Look at Moxley, so tough in his Dare Devil underoos.

Moxley: Actually its Star Trek boxers today. *sighs* Whats the deal with you man? Why are you being this way? You have plenty of friends if you needed someone, why are you hanging with Conor?

Stein: What's up with me? What's up with YOU! One second your treating me like a portugese prostitute with webbed feet, and now you're being nice? You just always need everyone to like you, don't you herb? Why don't you let these people know how you really feel about me? I'm doing this for me. I am sick of being held down. So you stay here, play nice with your stupid games and let the people with futures, and presents, in the business go win some titles.

Stein walks off, getting the last word. The camera zooms in on moxley.

Moxley: You're not the only one with a title shot tongiht, old friend.

Moxley looks down at his feet.

Moxley: How am I supposed to take on an ogre like Creed when I can't stop thinking about this crap?

ELSEWHERE BACKSTAGE

The camera changes locations and we now see a reporter who is probably in his late 20's / early 30's standing next to John Thomas.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen for those of you who don't know me, I'm former SWA announcer Jimmy Yates, and this week I was hired on by the front office to be one of the backstage reporters to help lighten the load from my former co-announcer Smith Cartwright.

Yates looks over at John Thomas.

Jimmy Yates: And this man standing next to me needs no introduction. John, I wanted to get your thoughts on the match up you've got here tonight against SHOOT Project competitor Jun Kenshin.

John Thomas: You know, when I heard that the Sky High Cup Invitational on the LEGACY Tour was going to be different and it was going to include wrestlers from other promotions, I was intrigued as to how that was going to work out, especially given how other interpromotional things in our "circle", if you will, haven fallen apart in the past. When I heard that the front office wanted me to be the one to represent our organization in the first of these matches, needless to say I was honored.

Jimmy Yates: Now I understand that this is something of a rematch?

John Thomas: A little over two years ago back before TTW opened, back when Jun Kenshin and I were both in SHOOT Project, the two of us wrestled in a three-man round robin to determine that organization's first ever Cruiserweight champion. That match ended with a double pinfall, Kenshin putting me into a german suplex and both of our shoulders being pinned to the mat for a three count.

Jimmy Yates: A match I heard was absolutely great.

John Thomas: I sure enjoyed the match, the fans enjoyed the match, a lot of the guys in the back enjoyed the match, but you know what? It wasn't satisfying, not at all. That's why when I heard that I'd get the chance to wrestle him again, I was very excited by the opportunity.

Jimmy Yates: Well we're all looking forward to it, John, and as an employee of the LEGACY Tour, let me just say that we're all pulling for ya this time around.

John Thomas: Thanks.

With that, John Thomas walks off and the view switches back to the broadcast position.

Mark Perletta: It should be an interesting match, and as tonight rolls on we get an announcement about next week's Sky High Invitational Match, but that'll have to wait until later on.

Joey C: Has there been any word on what the actual Sky High Cup Match is going to be like at Rise of the Elite 3 or who the competitors are going to be for that match?

Mark Perletta: Apparently we're going to get more information on that next week after the last of this Invitational's Exhibition matches takes place. Next up, we've got a match between former World Tag Team Champion D.J. Cassidy and "J.D.Ice" Jake Dominion.

D.J. Cassidy vs Jake Dominion

Mark Perletta: As this match started off, it was a battle of reversals, with the third generation grappler D.J. Cassidy taking more of a technical approach, whereas Jake Dominion was taking more of a martial arts based flashy style of reversals.

Joey C: I'll be brutally honest, here, Marky, I was VERY surprised by just how well D.J. Cassidy did here early on in the match. I always saw his lack of success so far in his career as a sign that maybe he had been wading in the shallow end of the gene pool, and while that might still be true, he showed a lot of potential tonight.

Mark Perletta: And Jake Dominion showed why he's considered by many people to be a Hall of Famer in this business, hanging right in there despite this being only his second match back after quite a while away from active competition.

Joey C: Before he took that hiatus, Jake Dominion was on top of his game, and most people felt like because of where he was and who his friends were, he wasn't getting the opportunities to fight for the top championships when there were plenty of people who felt like he could've won those championships had he received a title shot.

Mark Perletta: I'm sure if he shows the same potential here on the LEGACY Tour as he did back in SHOOT Project, he'll be given the chance to fight for any and all of the titles we've got here. In his match tonight, Dominion made the most of this opportunity, as did D.J. Cassidy, both men putting on one of the better technical matches we've seen on the LEGACY Tour thus far.

Start : Footage from the Match

Cassidy and Dominion locked in a collar and elbow tie-up, Cassidy maneuvers underneath one of Jake's arms, getting behind him, and he immediately takes him down with a german suplex, bridging into a pinfall attempt.

ONE!!

NO!!

Dominion shoulders out of the move, and both men get back to their feet. Jake sends a kick to the ribs of Cassidy, which slows him down enough to allow Dominion to step in and take D.J. up and over into a northern lights suplex, bridging into a pinfall attempt of his own.

ONE!!

TWO!!

NO!!

Cassidy is able to escape by kicking out, and again both men get to their feet. Cassidy fires in with a hard right hand, but then Dominion retaliates with a jumping knee to the midsection which doubles D.J. over. Taking a few steps backwards, Dominion hits the ropes and on the rebound goes for an ax-kick, but just as he brings his leg downwards Cassidy backs up a step, avoiding the impact, and then Cassidy grabs Dominion from behind, picks him up and puts him right back down onto his feet with an atomic drop.

After spinning him around and sending two hard right hands into his head, D.J. Cassidy grabs Dominion by the arm and irish whips him into the ropes. On the return Cassidy ducks his head as if to go for a backdrop, but Jake is able to stop himself before reaching Cassidy, he drives a double ax-handle into the back of D.J. Cassidy, and not letting his opponent fall to the mat, Jake hooks him around the head, then reaches in and grabs underneath one of D.J.'s knees, sets up into a fisherman's hook, then he suddenly spins under and through, turning the move into a VIOLENT swinging neckbreaker, and just after they hit the mat, Dominion bridges up onto his toes, holding on into a pinfall attempt.

ONE!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!.

Winner as a result of a PINFALL : Jake Dominion

Mark Perletta: Jake Dominion picking up a hard fought victory here in his LEGACY Tour singles competition debut.

Joey C: Doing so in nice fashion, might I add, debuting a move he calls the Ice Breaker, a play off of his old nickname "J.D. Ice".

Mark Perletta: It was an innovative swinging neckbreaker from a fisherman's hooking position, and I'll be interested to see just how many wins Dominion racks up with that move on his way to championship gold.

BACKSTAGE

As the camera cuts backstage, a very distracted looking Herbert J Moxley walks down the hall towards the gorilla position, and just before he gets there, D.J. Cassidy walks through the curtain.

Moxley: Tough go out there, Deej, but alas, you and I, once we get our belts back, we'll get into the ring with Jake Dominion and his villainous broham in arms Eric Wolfson and we will avenge tonight's...

Cassidy interrupts him before he cfan finish his thought.

Cassidy: Herb, relax, it's just one match, I'm sure I'll end up in the ring against Jake Dominion again, but tonight... tonight all you need to be concerned with is that World Television Title.

Moxley: I know, I just...

Cassidy: You just haven't been able to focus all night.

Cassidy puts his hands on Mox's shoulders and looks him dead in the eyes.

Cassidy: June 4th we've got ourselves a shot at the World Tag Titles. But until the final bell rings next Thursday, I don't want you giving the Tag Team belts another thought. You've got a big-time match tonight against a BIG-time opponent, so don't worry about anything other than Nicholas Creed. You got that?

Moxley slowly nods his head.

Moxley: Yeah Deej, I got it, and you're right, I haven't been able to focus all night... or all week for that matter. I want the Tag Titles back, but I also want that Television Title. It's just... it's a lot to have on my mind. I mean when we were going after the Beautiful People back in December and January, it was like taking on a Level 76 Ogre. Sure, it was going to be tough to deal with, but we figured out how to attack it and we overcame. Now it's like we're faced with a Bavarian Horn-Tail dragon WHILE I'm having to fend off a Level 73 Troll. Fighting off two...

Cassidy shakes his head and then interrupts Moxley.

Cassidy: Look, just go out there and deal with the Troll. The Bavarian Horn-Tail... it'll be there when your match is done, but the question is whether or not you'll be a champion going IN to Rise of the Elite 3, because we're sure as heck going to be champions coming OUT of Rise of the Elite 3.

After a moment of silence from both of them, Moxley smiles, and Cassidy pats him on the shoulder, and then Moxley heads towards the entrance curtain. The view then switches back to the recap two-shot of Mark Perletta and Joey C at the broadcast desk.

Joey C: Well that little pep-talk was nice and all, but Cassidy's main goal in all of that was to help focus his tag team partner on the World Television Title for tonight. Did it work? Let's find out.

WORLD TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
Herbert J Moxley vs Nicholas Creed (c)

Mark Perletta: As things started out, Moxley took a bit of time to really get into this match, obviously still a bit distracted by the Tag Team Title situation, and Creed took advantage of it.

Joey C: Yeah I'd say he took advantage of it, and Mox paid the price for not showing up completely prepared for this match, because Nicholas Creed really took it to him.

Mark Perletta: Once he assumed control of the match, Creed basically just wore Moxley down with continuous series of punches, kicks, and knees to the midsection.

Joey C: Another thing that helped wear down Moxley was that every time Creed sent him down to the mat, he'd immediately start in with stomps - whether to the gut or to the back or to the leg, Creed was just wearing him down.

Mark Perletta: By the time Herbert Moxley got any offense in this match, I truly thought it was going to be too late for him to stand a chance at coming out of this match with the Television Title.

Joey C: He was able to make a comeback, though, and the fans... they got really loud.

As Creed goes to pick Moxley up off the mat, Moxley gets up to one knee a bit quicker than Nicholas expected, and Mox nails him in the ribs with a right hand that surprises Creed more than anything else. As Creed goes to continue in on the attack, Moxley gets to his feet, ducks underneath a punch, and then irish whips a surprised SIN into the ropes. On the return Moxley gets up into the Crane position and then jumps and kicks Creed in the face with the Super Sweet Ninja Kick, rocking Creed's head backwards and sending him down to the mat, the fans going crazy as they witness the move from Karate Kid.

Mark Perletta: By the time this match got to its closing moments, Herbert J Moxley not only pulled himself back into the match, but he had the momentum, and it looked like he was going to win.

Start : Footage from the Match

Nicholas Creed runs in for a clothesline but Moxley ducks it, then turns and hits Creed with a dropkick which pushes him back a step. As Creed comes back in Moxley then nails him with a dropkick to the knee which drops SIN down to a kneeling position, and then Moxley runs over and hops up onto the second turnbuckle and then flies off, bulldog'ing Creed down to the mat by his head, and the fans go wild!

After kicking Creed a few times, Moxley notices that his opponent is still trying to get up, so once again Moxley runs over and gets to the second turnbuckle, and as Creed gets to his feet and turns around, Moxley leaps off into a flying cross-body attempt, but the monsterous SIN grabs him in mid-air, holds him for a moment, and then flips him backwards into a fallaway slam.

Stalking in behind his opponent, Creed waits until Moxley is almost back up onto his feet when he locks in a full nelson, and bringing the flailing Moxley back towards the center of the ring, Creed lifts him up into the air, pivots around, jumps, and then finishes Moxley off with a Rock Bottom type maneuver, then violently hooks the leg and goes for the pinfall.

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!

Winner by PINFALL and STILL World TV Champion :
Nicholas Creed

Joey C: Nicholas Creed coming up victorious there in his first successful World Television Title defense, picking up the win with his viscious REIGN OF SIN finishing maneuver.

Mark Perletta: The same move he used to defeat John Thomas for the belt two weeks ago, and you have to wonder just how many successful title defenses he's going to have due to that maneuver.

Joey C: They won't JUST be because of the REIGN OF SIN, Nicholas Creed is going to be a great competitor on the LEGACY Tour because of his size, strength, and his agility. That move will definitely help seal the deal, but Nicholas Creed is a huge competitor, and he'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with around here.

Mark Perletta: Well in our next segment we are introduced to two of the newest members to hit the LEGACY Tour.

BACKSTAGE

The camera switches backstage where we see three Japanese men dressed in street clothes walking backstage. One of the men is older and obviously not a wrestler, whereas the other two appear to be better built and considerably younger. Smith Cartwright approaches them and reaches out and shakes the other man's hand.

Smith Cartwright: Nori Shinya, welcome to the United States and the LEGACY Tour. I trust your flight in from Japan was a good one.

Shinya nods his head.

Smith Cartwright: We're glad to have you, Osamu, and Katsuro here on the tour. The members of the front office are excited to add you to our roster.

Shinya: And they are glad to be here and are looking forward to competing.

Behind Nori Shinya laughter is heard, and he turns around to see "Only Way" Aaron Beaudway, wearing khaki shorts and a navy blue hawaiian shirt with yellow birds all over it. Suddenly "Only Way" stops laughing and gets almost completely serious.

Aaron Beaudway: Konishiwa.

Shinya bows slightly.

Shinya: You speak Japanese?

Beaudway again starts laughing, and then he immediately gets serious again.

Aaron Beaudway: Is that what language that was? Well then, I guess I do. Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto.

Beaudway turns and looks at Cartwright.

Aaron Beaudway: This is awesome! When I signed on to the LEGACY Tour, I never knew we were going to have travelling sushi dudes backstage every night. Where are their uniforms?

Beaudway then turns to Osamu Hayashi and speaks slowly and loudly, as if that's going to help him understand him better..

Aaron Beaudway: DO... YOU... HAVE... WASABI?

Beaudway starts laughing and Shinya shakes his head, though remaining calm.

Shinya: They are not sushi chefs, they are great competitors and one of the best tag teams to come out of Japan in a very long time.

Getting bored of this encounter, Beaudway looks at Osamu and then at Katsuro, then nods his head and starts to walk off, walking backwards to maintain eye contact with the three foreign newcomers to the LEGACY Tour..

Beaudway: Well then, allow me to be the first to say BONSAI!!!

Beaudway turns and walks off down the hall, and about ten feet away from where he yelled it the first time, Beaudway yells it again, this time with even more enthusiasm.

Beaudway: BONSAI!!!

There's more laughter heard echoing down the corridor as Beaudway walks off, and then the view switches back to the broadcast position.

Mark Perletta: Yet again "Only Way" Aaron Beaudway shows up on a LEGACY Tour Shockwave and he continues to do things that aren't going to make him any friends, and from what I know about these two guys, they aren't exactly the types that you want as enemies.

Joey C: All I know about them are their names - Osamu and Katsuro.

Mark Perletta: That's right, Joey, Osamu Hayashi and Katsuro Yoshida. In trying to keep current with the information on the guys on our roster, I did a little homework, and when Nori Shinya says that these guys are great competitors and a great tag team, he's not kidding. When teaming up, which is most of the reason I hear they are part of the LEGACY Tour, these two go by the team name "Bushido Buntai".

Joey C: What the heck does that mean?

Mark Perletta: I'm glad you ask, Joey, because when I first heard that, I had my questions too, so I went on the internet, I looked it up, and I found out what it means. Bushido is a traditional code of the Japanese samurai, stressing honor, self-discipline, bravery, and simple living, and Buntai is the Japanese word for team.

Joey C: Well if they go by a team name that involves some traditional samurai code, they're going to hope they can fight like samurai.

Mark Perletta: If they can, I'd be willing to bet that they'll do well for themselves here on the LEGACY Tour.

BACKSTAGE

Sitting in his locker room, Gryffin Anselm takes the tape off of his hands as the locker room door opens up across the room from him and in walks James Win, dressed in a golden Adidas warm-up suit.

Gryffin Anselm: Well look who finally decided to show up.

James Win pulls up a steel chair and sits down.

James Win: The All Star's just glad you finally got him out of that hell hole Outlaw Backyard "Wrestling".

Gryffin Anselm: We'll see how things go, you might only be gone temporarily, or you might even be pulling double duty.

James Win: Well let's hope it doesn't come to that. So your message said you had something in mind for the Golden One?

Gryffin Anselm: Yeah, and lucky you, you get some mic time tonight. Let me tell you what this is all about.

The camera then switches back over to the broadcast desk.

Mark Perletta: What exactly Anselm had in mind for James Win we end up finding out later in the evening, but next up we have the match that YOU THE FANS voted as the most anticipated match of the night.

Joey C: The World Heavyweight Title Match was a close second, but given how Stein and Conor were given the match coming up next and given how Turner and Rawlings won those championship belts, that's certainly helping to build the anticipation. Enough waiting, let's get down to it.

WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Disorderly Youth vs Odd Cousins (c)

Mark Perletta: It's been obvious since the start of the LEGACY Tour that both Conor McLellan and Dan Stein have been extremely hungry to win championship gold, something that had eluded them thus far in this organization, and as this match got under way, they did whatever they could to make that happen.

Joey C: To say that these two started things off fast and furious would be an understatement, as they blindsided Stephen Rawlings before the opening bell even rang, getting him out of the way by tossing him out of the ring, and then the two went to work on that big dumb ape Chris Turner.

Mark Perletta: Chris Turner is a big tough guy and he was able to fight back for a short while, but the double-team proved to be too much even for him and before the referee got control of the match, Conor and Dan had already done a lot of damage to wear the big man down.

Joey C: Once the referee sent Conor to the outside, though, it was more of the same, with Dan Stein continuing in on the attack on Turner, systematically wearing him down by tiring him out with lots of fast paced moves.

Mark Perletta: Another factor that helped wear down Chris Turner was how well Conor McLellan and Dan Stein worked together, making quick tags and always keeping a fresh man in the ring.

Joey C: Not to mention the fact that they kept Stephen Rawlings on the outside of the ring for nearly the first two thirds of the match!

Mark Perletta: On several occasions Stephen Rawlings was frustrated by Turner's inability to make the tag and so he got into the ring illegally to help break up a double-team by the Disorderly Youth.

Joey C: And the second time that happened it lead to the opportunity Turner needed, and he was able to get over to his corner and make the "hot tag" in to Stephen Rawlings.

Mark Perletta: Rawlings came in and cleared house, knocking down Stein and Conor repeatedly before the referee was able to send Conor out to the apron, with Stein as the legal man. From there Rawlings and Stein once again had a great back-and-forth of moves just like they did in the first of the Sky High Exhibition Matches a few weeks ago.

Joey C: But this is a tag match, not a Sky High Exhibition, and this is where the Disorderly Youth continued to raise their stock as a great tag team, as Conor McLellan walked around the ring and distracted not only Chris Turner, but also the referee, leaving an opportunity for Stein to rake the eyes of Rawlings inside the ring, which helped him gain control of the match.

Mark Perletta: Not only did the distraction help Stein get the advantage, but it also kept Chris Turner preoccupied when Rawlings found an opening and tried to tag in his partner, but by that time Turner had dropped off the apron to chase after Conor.

Joey C: By the time the tag was made, it wasn't necessarily Rawlings' choice to tag Turner back into the match, as Conor and Stein worked Stephen over with some quick tags and double-team moves, and then they double-irish-whipped Rawlings into the corner, sending him right into Chris Turner, both tagging him into the match and knocking him off the apron at the same time.

Mark Perletta: It was a good strategy by Conor and Dan, and at that point Chris Turner became the legal man, and so he got into the ring with the help of Dan Stein, who quickly went to work on him, peppering him with hard right hands to the point where the referee had to back Stein away from his opponent to end the barrage of closed fists.

Joey C: Yeah but even when he did that, Conor got into the ring and nailed Turner with a huge kick to the head that significantly dazed him.

Mark Perletta: That it did, and even after stumbling around for a moment, Turner was able to grab Conor before McLellan could nail him with a second kick, and he took him down hard with a belly to belly suplex.

Joey C: Unfortunately for Turner, Conor McLellan wasn't the legal man in the ring at the time.

Start : Footage from the Match

A dazed Chris Turner hooks Conor's leg, going for a pinfall attempt, but the referee rushes in and refuses to count, explaining that Conor's not the legal man in the match. When Turner gets up off the mat, he's met with a hard right hand from Stein that rocks him backwards, sending him into the corner. As Stein follows him in, Turner grabs Dan, turns, and shoves Dan into the turnbuckles, then he rams a shoulder into Stein's midsection, doubling him over.

Turner then backs up a few steps and instead of tagging Rawlings back in, he rushes into the corner and goes for a stinger splash type maneuver, but Stein is able to side step it, and Turner crashes into the turnbuckles. Grabbing Turner by the arm, Stein backs up towards the middle of the ring and then irish whips him into the corner where Conor is waiting.

Stein moves in and nails a back elbow smash to Turner's face, then he tags in Conor. Pulling Chris out of the corner, Dan Stein gets behind him as Conor climbs to the top rope and then Stein hits an atomic drop, and as Turner lands, Stein moves out of the way just as Conor comes flying off the top rope with his flying bulldog, and as Turner hits the mat, Conor twists around and hooks the leg, going for the pinfall.

ONE!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!

Winner by PINFALL and NEW World Tag Team Champions :
Dan Stein and Conor McLellan... Disorderly Youth!!

Mark Perletta: Dan Stein and Conor McLellan picking up their first championship gold in this organization, possibly the first championship gold of their careers, as they become the THIRD World Tag Team Champions of the LEGACY Tour.

Joey C: And they were able to win the belts due to TEAM WORK, Marky, TEAM. WORK. That's what those belts are all about, and that's what helped them win the belts, and I, personally, am happy that they walked away with the straps around their waists.

Mark Perletta: Team work definitely played a big part of this match, especially considering the LACK of team work coming from the former Tag Team Champions, Rawlings and Turner. We all saw the promotional video from earlier in the week where Rawlings and Turner seemed to be at odds with one another, and you have to think that played a considerable role here tonight in the titles changing hands.

BACKSTAGE

The ring completely cleared after the tag match, the public address sound speaker system kicks in as we start hearing "It's Getting Hard Out Here for a Pimp" by Three 6 Mafia, and as Tim Jones steps out from the back, the fans give him a decent pop, Mic in hand and a "Ladies Man" tshirt on, he makes his way down to the ring, ignoring the fans along the isle, obviously something on his mind. Instead of getting into the ring, Jones gets a microphone from the ring attendant and then slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.

Tim Jones: Cut the music.

The music cuts out.

Tim Jones: Now as you all know I don't usually cut my entrance that short, I don't usually ignore all of my LOVELY, SCREAMING, FANTASTIC female fans who line the isle as I make my way to the ring, but tonight, tonight I have something I need to get off my chest... and then ladies, maybe after the show a couple of you, maybe three or four depending on how the night goes, can head back to my hotel and we can get a couple of more things off of a couple more chests, but for now, down to business.

Portions of the crowd, all female, squeal at the possibility he just mentioned.

Tim Jones: Ever since High Society put me on the shelf, I've been working my ASS off to get back into this ring and get back at them, a process that I started a couple months ago, a process that's not done yet because I can't seem to work my way into a one-on-one match with John Page... a man I used to call my tag team partner... because he's been DUCKING me ever since I got back.

Jones shakes his head, disgusted with the concept.

Tim Jones: First he had some bullsh!t leg injury, a leg injury we all learned was better a LOT sooner than he lead on about. Now that we're here in LEGACY, week after week I've talked to the front office, and week after week he's got some other reason why he can't get into the ring with me, so here's the deal: Tonight, I'm making this public! John Page, you're not booked tonight, so get out here, and let's have a match! Let's settle this thing between us once and for all!!

The wrestling icon on the LEGACY VISION screen flickers briefly before displaying a tropical beach bar. The bar is an authentic, if somewhat shabby, looking construction made mostly out of bamboo shoots and leaves. As the camera zooms in we see John Page sitting at the bar in a baby blue colored short sleeved shirt, possibly Vavra’s, a pair of beige chinos, completing the ensemble with a pair of burgundy Tods Tod’s moccasin loafers. Scarlet sits beside him in a white Chanel bikini set and a pair of ostrich and alligator framed sunglasses. Page nurses a martini whilst Scarlet sips at a gin and tonic. Raising his eyes, Page addresses the camera.

John Page: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, *Page pauses* and Timothy. As you can see I’m a tad busy at the moment. Scarlet and I decided to take a break from our very busy schedule and we ended up here, in Jost Van Dyke, the smallest and most exclusive of the British Virgin Isles.

Mark Perletta: Busy schedule? Seems to me all Page has done recently is avoid any sort of conflict.

Joey C: You’ve got to be kidding me Mark. John Page doesn’t run away. He’s a true gentleman.

Page takes another sip from his drink.

Page: Anyway, down to business. A little bird told me that you were quite keen on getting your hands on me Timothy. *A wry smile crosses his face* Unfortunately that’s not going to happen this week.

The crowd boo in unison.

Page: If I’d known how enthusiastic you were about a reunion Tim, I may have thought twice about booking this trip.

Mark Perletta: I don’t believe that for a second.

Page: However, I like to think of myself as the sort of man who makes dreams come true and knowing as I do how much you idolize me, how much you… RESPECT me!

Page chuckles.

Page: I’m willing to give you the opportunity to step in the ring with your hero, John Page. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do.

The sell-out crowd erupt.

Joey C: Did you hear that Mark? We will see John Page take on Tim Jones.

Mark Perletta: That I did, but the question remains, WHEN are we going to see that match?

Page turns to Scarlet and strokes her cheek, knowing that he has Tim Jones and the LEGACY fans hanging on his every word.

Page: At Rise of the Elite 3 I’ll show you that out of the two of us I was not only “The Pretty One” but also the brains and brawn of the operation.

With that Page signals for the cameraman to stop filming and turns back to Scarlet where they resume their conversation. The camera then cuts back to a shot from the broadcast position.

Mark Perletta: And there you have it, folks, John Page and Tim Jones will get into the ring with one another at Rise of the Elite 3, and frankly, it's about time.

Joey C: You're darn right it is, a lot of people are tired of having to hear Tim Jones whine and complain about how he hasn't had a chance for revenge, but what "The Ladies Man" needs to do is to count that as a blessing, because he's not going to be able to beat John Page.

Mark Perletta: People have varying opinions on who they think would win that match, but at Rise of the Elite 3 coming up in a little over two weeks, we'll have our answer.

BACKSTAGE

The shot is a gorgeous, picture perfect 70 degree day in the city of San Diego, California. The Southern California’s most well known athlete is not Ladainian Tomlinson or Brian Giles or some Luchadore you see on Friday nights. No, it is The Show Stealer Jun Kenshin. The shot is a static computer generated image on green screen. We go to the backstage area of the arena as we see WPW Hall of Famer, former OPW wrestler and current SHOOT Project icon Jun Kenshin standing by backstage. He is dressed in his normal black with silver trim tights, black boots and a t-shirt that sports his likeness.

Jun Kenshin: So is this The LEGACY Tour, huh?

He sneers as the crowd pops in the background.

Jun Kenshin: You people must be asking yourself why would I stoop to this level to appear in what I consider to be a substandard wrestling promotion like LEGACY?

The Tennessee crowd is getting extremely hostile.

Kenshin: Well it’s real simple. I’m here to take on the wrestler formerly known as The Average One… John Thomas.

The crowd pops HARD for the mention of Thomas.

Jun Kenshin: Thomas and I had a wrestling classic back in the day in The SHOOT Project. It was a match for the ages. However, I’m not satisfied with just ONE match. Oh no. I’m here for the rematch and I’m here to show that you can’t have a Sky High Tournament without the greatest pound for pound athlete in this business and that’s me… The Show Stealer! You… or should I say… Y’ALL ought to be honored to have an icon in your midst. Tonight?

Kenshin pauses.

Jun Kenshin: I will once again steal the show and prove that compared to myself, John Thomas is STILL just AVERAGE!

The scene then switches back to a shot from the broadcast position, starting with a medium close-up of Mark Perletta.

Mark Perletta: The words and thoughts of Jun Kenshin on his match tonight quite a different tone than what we heard from John Thomas, whereas John Thomas is looking for another opportunity to have a great match, Jun Kenshin is coming into this match hoping to prove that since their last match up, he has progressed in his career and John Thomas has not.

Joey C: Well Jun Kenshin has had some impressive matches since that time, but I wouldn't say he's gotten significantly better than he was back then, whereas John Thomas, from time to time, has taken great steps forward in his career.

Mark Perletta: Both men great athletes in their own right, and the match that results is a fantastic one, that match coming up a bit later. But next we have a match that is months in the making, and finally with this match here tonight, we get the chance to hopefully end the backstage in-fighting between Cronos and VooDoo by forcing them to take each other on in the ring once and for all, one-on-one.

GRUDGE MATCH
VooDoo vs Cronos Diamante

Mark Perletta: Not coming as a surprise to anyone, as soon as the opening bell rang to start this one off, these two immediately started fighting it out visciously, just tearing into one another with punches and kicks, falling down to the mat and both battling for position.

Joey C: Each and everyone of those kicks and punches had a lot of power behind them, with both of these guys putting more emotion behind each and every shot they took at their opponent, things getting very heated between the two of them.

Mark Perletta: For a match that I fully expected to see happen at the Rise of the Elite 3 pay per view, these guys were battling it out almost as if they WERE competing on a pay per view event.

Joey C: That's nothing new from these guys, they've always battled it out like this any time they met up backstage, or even when Cronos attacked VooDoo during his match with Creed a few weeks ago. There's definitely no pulling punches with these guys.

Mark Perletta: Absolutely not, and not only did these two brawl back and forth, wearing each other down, but they both hit some fairly big moves on one another.

Joey C: Oh they definitely used some big moves, several of which I thought were going to lead directly to a pinfall, but each and every time they just kept going, kept fighting.

Mark Perletta: This match was definitely a testament to two things: to how much these two men truly seem to hate one another, and to how tough both of these guys are.

Joey C: On several occasions the match spilled outside the ring to the ring area, and both of these men used the steel steps and the steel guardrail to their advantages, and I'm not even sure how either one of them was able to get back into the ring.

Mark Perletta: And I thought the referee did a fantastic job of just letting these two guys fight it out, not even starting to do a countout with both men out of the ring.

Joey C: Oh you KNOW the front office had a talk with the ref before hand and made it very clear that they wanted this match to be as decisive as possible, and what good would a count out victory do for either one of these guys?

Mark Perletta: Well the referee did his part to just stay out of the way and let things go, and even as the match wore down, it still seemed to me like these two guys had plenty left in the tank to continue battling with one another.

Start : Footage from the Match

After sending VooDoo down to the mat hard with a swift side russian legsweep, Cronos got up and walked over to the corner and untied the top turnbuckle pad, exposing the cold hard steel. The referee tried to dissuade Diamante from doing so, but after taking off the pad, he threw it out of the ring and then walked back over to where VooDoo was struggling to get back to his feet. Grabbing him by the arm, Cronos then irish whipped VooDoo into the corner, sending him chest first into the exposed steel bolt.

Following in slowly as not to make a mistake and give VooDoo an opportunity, Cronos calculatingly measured up his opponent, but when he reached him and spun him around, VooDoo nailed a desperation forearm shot to the head of Cronos, then another one, backing him up a step, and from there VooDoo grabbed Diamante around the waist, lifted him up as if to go for an inverted atomic drop, but instead he jumped and fell backwards, sending Cronos face first into the exposed steel bolt.

Even as he hit the mat, Cronos' forehead was already busted open and bleeding, though VooDoo was too exhausted to immediately follow up. Once on his feet, VooDoo laid into Cronos with a couple stomps to the forehead, further busting Cronos open. Noticing the blood on his hands as he tried to cover up, Cronos rolled to the outside of the ring and started backing his way up the steel steps. Exhausted as he was, VooDoo could do nothing but watch as Cronos Diamante slowly retreated from the match, and after Cronos got to the top of the ramp, the referee signalled for the bell, awarding the match to VooDoo.

Winner as a result of a COUNT OUT : VooDoo

As he stands atop the entrance ramp, Cronos keeps his eyes on VooDoo, touching the bloody spot on his forehead head and then wiping it across the tattoo of a giant Crow he has on his chest. The blood had stopped flowing, though Cronos was now wearing a crimson mask on the left half of his face.

In a flurry of activity, Nicholas Creed runs out of the back and begins pummeling Cronos to no end, dropping him down to the entrance stage with a forearm shot and then hovering over him and further pelting him in the face, the blood starting to flow once again. At that point VooDoo jumps out of the ring and speeds up the ramp, the awaiting Creed no longer pummelling Cronos and now going toe to toe with VooDoo. Having just competed in a hellacious match, VooDoo is no match for Creed, who is able to irish whip him into one of the steel supports holding up the LEGACY Vision next to the entrance curtain.

Slowly a determined Cronos Diamante works to get to his feet, and just before he does, Nicholas Creed spots him rising and turns his full attention to him. Walking over and laying into Cronos' leg with a well placed kick to the shin, Creed drops Cronos back down to a knee. Grabbing Diamante by the head, he forces him back up to his feet and then he starts walking to the edge of the stage. Without hardly any hesitation, Creed throws Cronos off the stage into a table below, originally set up to help organize the wires for the audio equipment.

Cronos lands with a sickening thud, crashing straight through the table, and satisfied with his work, Creed heads back through the curtain, the stunned fans in the arena unsure of how to react to what just happened. From one of the larger access portals just beside the stage on floor level, four EMTs rush out with a stretcher and a backboard to attend to Cronos Diamante, and the view then switches back to a shot of a disgusted Mark Perletta and Joey C.

Mark Perletta: The battle between Cronos Diamante, VooDoo, and Nicholas Creed hit new levels tonight, and after the show we were informed that next week, all three men will be banned from being at the arena.

Joey C: We also heard that they will square off at Rise of the Elite 3 in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, and you have to think that based off of what we saw tonight, that's going to be one hell of an encounter.

EXHIBITION OPEN CHALLENGE

The lights in the arena die down and yellow spotlights shine down all over the crowd as "All Star" by Smashmouth plays over the speakers, and suddenly the yellow spotlights all converge on the top of the entrance ramp where James Win is standing, decked out completely in golden attire, a mic in his hand. Suddenly his music cuts out, and he takes his cue to start addressing the fans.

James Win: For those of you who don't know, for what seems like an eternity yours truly, The All Star, has been working in Outlaw Backyard "Wrestling" as something of a favor to Gryffin Anselm. You see, Gryff said he had a plan for the Golden One, and in order to prepare James Win, he signed The All Star up for something called the Assassination Tango, which basically amounts to a tournament of smaller rednecks pretending to be skilled light heavyweights.

Win starts walking down to the ring.

James Win: Now naturally The Pan-American Idol would have won that tournament, but because it was set up as more of a team atmosphere, for The Golden One to have won that tournament with the partners he had been given, he would've had to do some SERIOUS carrying of his partners, and frankly it just wasn't worth it.

Grabbing on to the middle rope, Win pulls himself up onto the apron and then steps on the middle turnbuckle and flips himself into the ring over the top rope.

James Win: After fighting a japanese whore, Captain Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Pet, a lesbian, and countless rednecks, needless to say that The Golden One was happy to get Gryffin's call to bring him back here.

Win starts nodding his head.

James Win: If the All Star is pleased to be here, that says a lot for how crappy OB"W" was, doesn't it? But anyway, the LEGACY Tour has something right up James Win's alley, and so here tonight, The Pan-American Idol is throwing his hat into the ring and announcing his involvement in the Sky High Invitational set for Rise of the Elite 3.

He holds up a finger, as if to tell people to wait.

James Win: Not ONLY that, but The All Star is also here to lay out a challenge. An open challenge. This is the sort of thing that guys backstage are going to jump at, since opportunities to get into the ring with The Golden One one-on-one don't happen every day. Opportunities to compete in front of James Win's hundreds...

Short pause.

James Win: ...and hundreds of fans and Pan-Amaniacs, those are chances of a life-time, and don't think that the guys in the back don't know it. Hell, there are guys watching tonight's show who are currently in other organizations who would love to get this chance. And who is the lucky person? That will be decided by a lengthy application process that The All Star will work to complete by the start of Shockwave next Thursday...

Suddenly a voice from atop the entrance ramp cuts James Win off.

Smith Cartwright: Whoa, whoa, hold on a second there, James. Gryffin Anselm told me earlier tonight about wanting to get you into next week's Sky High Exhibition... and I'm granting that request. As far as you getting to pick your opponent as part of some lengthy application process... well... that's not going to be happening.

The excitement level grows amongst the crowd.

Smith Cartwright: You see, a number of people have already committed to being a part of the Sky High Cup Invitational Match at Rise of the Elite 3, and one of those guys said he'd like to take part in a Sky High Exhibition on the Shockwave just prior to the pay per view. Until next week's show, that man's identity is going to remain a secret, but I will tell you that not only is he a fantastic wrestler, but he's a fantastic wrestler from another organization!

The fans cheer loudly as they hear the announcement of yet another interpromotional Sky High Exhibition match. James Win doesn't look too pleased, though.

James Win: Now that's not fair and you know it! The All Star doesn't even get to know who his opponent is? How do you expect the Golden One to prepare for some match where he's obviously going to have to carry some sub-par opponent to a four star match when you won't even tell The Pan-American Idol who his opponent is going to be?

Smith Cartwright: Well considering the fact that he qualifies for the Sky High Exhibition, you can assume that he fits in under the 230 pound weight limit, so as far as I see it, you know all that you need to know in order to prepare for the match, but since you've been hanging out in the Land of the Lawless for a while, I should remind you that the Sky High Exhibitions... those matches follow the rules, so if you're going to do any prep work for your match next week, practice following the rules!

James Win looks absolutely dejected, and Smith Cartwright gets a grin on his face, pleased by the pop he got from the fans, and then the screen switches back to a shot of Mark Perletta and Joey C.

Joey C: An absolute travesty of justice took place, and I can't believe that people aren't outraged about it.

Mark Perletta: What are you talking about?

Joey C: Whoever the interpromotional competitor is, they now know who they are facing next week, but The All Star, who is gracing The LEGACY Tour with his presence, gets rewarded for returning to our organization how? By being put into an unfair match? It's a travesty, Marky, and frankly I don't want to talk about it anymore. This week's Sky High Exhibition match is up next, let's just move on to that.

SKY HIGH EXHIBITION MATCH
Jun Kenshin vs John Thomas

Mark Perletta: Before this match got started, John Thomas and Jun Kenshin met in the middle of the ring and had a quick handshake, one more out of respect than out of friendship, the handshake something that I'm sure a lot of people probably weren't expecting, given that this is an inter-promotional match.

Joey C: Yeah, but just because they wrestle for different organizations doesn't necessarily mean that they can't get along, and from what I understand, Kenshin doesn't think too highly of the organization he currently works with.

Mark Perletta: Not to go too far into it, it's obvious based on their actions that some of the people Kenshin associates with over in SHOOT Project aren't too happy to be there, but that's why organizations have contracts.

Joey C: Judging from what he said earlier tonight, Jun Kenshin doesn't appear to be happy to be anywhere.

Mark Perletta: He signed on to compete in both the Sky High Cup match at Rise of the Elite 3 as well as one Sky High Exhibition match, and this is how he reacts, by showing up and making fun of The LEGACY Tour? Bad form, Kenshin, bad form.

Joey C: Well one thing that isn't bad form was how he was competing in that ring. He and John Thomas going back and forth, matching hold for hold, reversal for reversal, and both men seemed to really want to win this match.

Mark Perletta: Being the first interpromotional match of the LEGACY Tour, you have to think that both of these men have a lot of pressure on themselves to win this match, and you could really tell as they battled it out in the ring.

Joey C: For the most part the match went the way that Sky High Matches are supposed to go, with both men using mostly tehcnical maneuvers and wrestling holds, but as the match got near the end, that respect factor would break down...

Start : Footage from the Match

Spinning both himself and his opponent around, Jun Kenshin ends up back-to-back with John Thomas, and after hooking arms with him, Kenshin goes for a backslide pinfall attempt.

ONE!!

TWO!!

NO!!

John Thomas is able to roll out of it, and as soon as both men get back to their feet, John Thomas leaps high into the air and nails Kenshin with a high flipping dropkick. Grabbing Kenshin by the arm, John Thomas yanks down hard twice, putting lots of pressure on the shoulder, and then he starts backing up towards the turnbuckle, and as he starts to climb, the fans get excited, knowing what's coming.

Having scouted the maneuver, Kenshin puts his foot on the ropes and pushes backwards, pulling John back down off of the second turnbuckle, and then Kenshin puts a thumb in John's eye, causing him to break the armbar attempt. Kenshin then does a double knife-hand shot to the throat of John Thomas, causing him extreme pain, and then as Kenshin tries to spew out some black mist, John Thomas unknowingly ducks out of the way of it, still choking from the shot to his throat.

Frustrated, Kenshin backs up a few steps and then goes for a side thrust kick to Thomas' head, but seeing it coming, John is able to duck out of the way just in time, and finding himself behind Jun, Thomas grabs him by the arm and locks on the Crossface Chicken Wing, and the fans go ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!

Kenshin flails around, trying to get out of the hold, but John Thomas keeps it locked in. Slowly but surely Kenshin starts to make his way closer and closer to the corner, when suddenly he hops up with his legs, gets his feet on the turnbuckle, and then springs backwards, sending John down to the mat, the Crossface still applied, but Kenshin is able to do a backwards roll and plant his feet into the mat, his head still locked in the hold, but with John's shoulders on the mat, the referee makes the count.

ONE!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!

Winner as a result of a PINFALL : Jun Kenshin

Mark Perletta: And so in the rematch that was two years in the making, Jun Kenshin was able to find a way to make a pinfall attempt while locked in the Crossface Chicken Wing, very reminiscent of how Bret Hart was able to defeat Rowdy Roddy Piper for the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 8.

Joey C: Oh and you know that Jun Kenshin didn't waste any time in getting out of the ring once the bell had rung, and based on the frustration in the eyes of John Thomas, you can tell that he hopes they get to face one another at least one more time.

Rescue Me. Only on FX.

BACKSTAGE

When we return from the commercial we find ourselves backstage where we see Loco Martinez standing in front of a monitor sullenly shaking his head.

Loco Martinez: Dammit, he almost had him!

On the screen we see Jun Kenshin celebrating and Loco takes a sip of water to wet his throat which was dry from screaming at the TV throughout the entire match that was just witnessed before the commercial break.

Voice: Damn, chief. That's the cat you came here to back up?

Loco looks around in confusion, then turns around to come face to face with Eric Wolfson, who had been walking by and caught Loco watching the match on the television set in the hallway. The match recap is showing on the screen, Wolfson looks back at the TV and laughs.

Eric Wolfson: I mean, look at the guy... He lost his title to Creed two weeks ago and now he's losing to a guy like that, a guy who doesn't even work here? Man, how far can someone fall?

Loco doesn't reply. He simply stares into Wolfson's face waiting for him to leave.

Eric Wolfson: Might want to rethink your choice of friends. Because losing can be contagious. Dig?

Loco smirks and lets out a chuckle.

Eric Wolfson: Something funny?

Loco: Well, its just, ya know... LAST week was OUR match, and John was on the winning end... I guess at your age that kind of stuff slips your mind.

Wolfson steps into Loco, Loco follows suit and the men are inches apart glaring at one another.

Eric Woflson: Watch yourself little man.

Loco: Go ahead. I'm not running. You punk out John Thomas? You punk out Mox? You're fucking with my FRIENDS. My Family. Not my "apprentice" and my tag team partner. No more numbers game, Wolfson. I've seen it too many times.

Wolfson snarls.

Eric Wolfson: And if I'm punking YOU out?

Loco smiles and shrugs.

Loco: If you want a dance? All you gotta do is ask.

Wolfson scoffs, before taking a step back and out of the face of Loco.

Eric Wolfson: Look at you. Stepping all up in my face like you're some bad ass. Why don't you go have some more matches, win some, preferably, and then come back here and try to challenge me. Shit, Loco, I was winning World Championships while you were still jobbing to guys like me just for some TV time. Truth is, son, you don't deserve the priveledge of stepping into the ring with me. And I don't especially feel like kicking your ass.

With that, Wolfson chuckles to himself and turns to leave. Before he can, however, Loco grabs him by the arm and stops him.

Loco Martinez: History lesson, ERIC. You're talking to a 9 year veteran, not some wet behind the ears rookie. You won world titles? Super. So did I. So whoop-de-fucking-do. Don't confuse my youth for inexperience... and DO NOT think for one second you are above me or out of my league... I just turned 27, and am a little disappointed at the lack of a card... or even a call.

Loco chuckles. Wolfson turns fully back around now but doesn't say a word. He simply stares into Loco's face.

Loco Martinez: The way I'm looking at, I'm hitting my prime right now... and some people are already referring to me as a legend. A hall of famer. And unlike YOU? I'm not done.

Loco's smirk is met with a hard glare from Wolfson.

Eric Wolfson: You know what, kid? You want it? You fuckin' got it! But it'll be on my terms. Like I said before, you haven't earned the right to dictate such things to me. You want me? You got me next week. See ya then, chump.

Loco smiles huge, and we hear the crowd inside the arena erupt.

Loco Martinez: Sweet. I'll bring my dance shoes.

As John Thomas walks up, Eric Wolfson sees him, they lock eyes, then Wolfson looks over and locks eyes with Loco Martinez, and then he backs up a few steps, then turns and walks away. The view then cuts back to the shot of Perletta and Joey C from the broadcast position.

Mark Perletta: Before our recap show began I caught up with Smith Cartwright and he confirmed that next week, Loco Martinez will get into the ring with Eric Wolfson in a match where legends will collide, and I personally can't wait.

Joey C: From the sound of it, that match may very well be next week's main event.

Mark Perletta: It very well might be, although I heard rumors of another match that might take place, and if it does, well then the front office is going to have a tough time deciding which of the two to make the main event... but speaking of Main Event matches, we've got a huge one for you coming up next. The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line, and let's get down to the ring.

LEGACY WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT MATCH
Greyson Blade vs Marcus Marion (c)

Mark Perletta: I don't think anyone was surprised by how heated this match was, or by how quickly Greyson Blade got things started. From the moment the opening bell rang, Greyson was all over Marion, laying into him with a rapid series of punches.

Joey C: After he took Marcus down to the mat, Marion showed just how smart he is as he rolled out of the ring to slow down the pace of the match.

Mark Perletta: Blade had other ideas, though, and he followed Marcus to the outside and chased him around the ring. Just as Greyson nearly caught Marion, however, Marcus slid back into the ring, but by the time he got back to his feet, Greyson was back in the ring as well.

Joey C: At that point Marion ran in and nailed Greyson with a right hand, but because Blade was sooo pumped coming into this match, he just retaliated with a right hand of his own, and when Marion went for another punch, Blade blocked it and then proceeded to clothesline Marcus down to the mat three times in a row.

Mark Perletta: After getting up and getting clotheslined back down to the mat for the third time in a row, Marion once again escaped to the outside, and once again Greyson Blade tried to follow him.

Joey C: This time when Greyson Blade charged in to attack Marcus, Marion was ready, and he spun around, stepped to the side, and shoved Greyson right into the steel steps knee first!

Mark Perletta: Blade did take a nasty spill over those steps, and that was a huge turning point in this match in the favor of Marcus Marion, who worked over Blade's knee a bit more on the outside before throwing him back into the ring.

Joey C: Once they got back into the ring, Marion kept on dishing out the abuse to Greyson's knee, like a shark sensing blood in the water, Marion attacked repeatedly with knee breakers and dropkicks to the knee, just really laying in the punishment.

Mark Perletta: Trying to get Greyson Blade to submit, Marcus Marion went to lock in a figure-four, but as he stepped in and around Blade's leg, Greyson hooked one of Marion's legs, keeping him from locking on the move, and then worked his way to his feet where he was able to grab Marcus around the waist from behind and take him down with a release german suplex, a move that got the fans right back into this match.

Joey C: After the suplex, Greyson kept in on the attack, hitting a couple back breakers and then following that up with his gorilla press powerslam, but even that would not be enough to keep Marion from regaining control of the match.

Mark Perletta: No it wasn't, because when Greyson tried to keep in on the attack even after the gorilla press powerslam, Marion was able to rebound off of the ropes after an irish whip and take Blade down to the mat with a chopblock to the knee he had been working on earlier in the match.

Start : Footage from the Match

With Marion taunting Greyson Blade and taunting the fans, Blade struggled as hard as he could to get back to his feet. Seeing Greyson nearly back on his feet, Marion walks in and lays into his opponent with a hard right hand, but Blade follows it up with a right hand of his own. Marion then goes for another right hand to follow that up, but Blade blocks it and springs in with a forearm shot that takes Marion off his feet and down to the match.

As Greyson starts to make his comeback, the fans get electrified, trying to cheer their hometown boy on to victory. Grabbing Marion by the arm, Greyson helps his opponent up to his feet, nails him with a headbutt to ensure that Marion is still dazed for his next move, and then after sending Marcus into the ropes with an irish whip, Greyson Blade lifts the True Revolutionary up off the mat and DROPS him with the OUTLAW DROP, the fans going crazy.

The intensity in the crowd's reaction changes a bit as they spot Chivalric running out from the back, and as he slides into the ring, Greyson Blade, who was setting up for the Killshot, spots him and turns his attention towards Bishop and the two start to brawl. The referee stands back, yelling at Bishop, but he doesn't end the match in a disqualification, knowing that if he did he would be lynched by the Knoxville fans, especially since Blade is holding his own against Chivalric, even sending him into the corner hard with an irish whip.

Before Mason Bishop can continue fighting with Greyson Blade, Gryffin Anselm runs out from the back and slides right into the ring, getting an opposite reaction from the very fans who booed him earlier in the evening. Tackling Mason Bishop down to the mat, Gryffin forces the battle between the two of them outside the ring. Confused by all of the distractions, the referee doesn't notice as Marcus Marion hits Greyson Blade with a low blow, and the fans don't immediately see it either.

Having doubled over his opponent, Marcus Marion gets to his feet and has just enough in him, much to the dismay of the packed arena, to pick Greyson up and hit him with the Revolutionary Thrill jumping tombstone piledriver, and from there he hooks both of Greyson's legs, going for the pinfall attempt.

ONE....

TWO....

THREE.

Winner by PINFALL and STILL World Heavyweight Champion :
Marcus Marion

After the referee calls for the bell, Marcus Marion rolls out of the ring, grabs the LEGACY World Heavyweight Championship, and heads off around the ring to the opposite side of where Gryffin Anselm is standing, meeting up with Chivalric near the entrance ramp, the two walking backwards up the ramp about seven feet from one another, looking down the ramp at Gryffin Anselm on the outside and Greyson Blade inside the ring.
