Tao of Valor Championship
The Tao of Valor Championship is the "re-branded" World Television Title, the
name change occurring after a title defense on the June 29th, 2006 show. With
the new name comes a change in stipulations involved with the belt, outlined
as follows:
- The Tokens
Included as part of the design for the actual ToV Championship belt, there
are four symbols, each representing a different match stipulation. Once a
ToV Champion has obtained all four tokens during a single reign with the ToV
Championship belt, they obtain a guaranteed shot at the LEGACY World Title,
not necessarily the NEXT shot at the World Title.
In order for a person to obtain one of these tokens, they must either:
- successfully win the ToV Championship Belt during a
match with that stipulation; or
- successfully defend the belt under a match with that
stipulation.
In order for the ToV Champion to get a stipulation match, he must successfully
defend the ToV Championship Belt in a regular match. This must be accomplished
to obtain EACH of the four token stipulation matches.
The stipulation matches are as follows:
- 30 Minute Iron Man Match
- Last Man Standing Match
- Submissions Only Match
- Ultimate X Match
The front office determines which of the stipulations will occur for a token
match, picking from a list of the tokens which the ToV Champion has not yet
obtained.
No Limits Championship
The name says it all. In matches contested for the No Limits Championship or
to help determine the top contenders to get the next shot at the belt, there
are no count outs, there are no disqualifications. The referee will watch for
a pinfall or submission, beit in the ring or out. Unless otherwise stated, No
Limits matches typically start in the ring, but they may end wherever the fight
takes them. No holds are barred, weapons are allowed, but any competitor causing
death or dismemberment will be subject to lawsuit.
The referee may stop a No Limits Match if one competitor is unable to defend
himself intelligently from an on-coming attack from an opponent who refuses
to go for a pinfall.
