In the first game of the night, Ovenchicken defeated Easton Fection by a score of 8-1. Mark Koss, Kevin Koss, and Todd Webber each had a pair of goals for Ovenchicken. In the next game, Loudoun Obnoxious opened their season with a 7-2 victory over the Hawks. CJ Schoenherr had a standout performance with 3 goals and 2 assists. Next up was the Leesburg Lowercases and Oldballs, with the game’s decision coming down to the absolute end of the game. Tied 5-5 with only seconds left in regulation, Lowercases Captain Keith Cross scored, just before time expired. The final score was Lowercases:6, Oldballs: 5.
