Loudoun Street Hockey League

We had two exciting playoff games last night! Up first, the #1 seed – 9 Below took on the fourth place, Eagle Fang Hockey. It was extremely close through the first 20 minutes, as the score was tied at 2-2. It was all 9 Below though in the second half, as they would score 3 unanswered goals to close out the game. The final score was 9 Below: 5, Eagle Fang: 2. Next up was the second place, Remparts versus the #3 seed, Blues Brothers. The Blues Brothers jumped out to a commanding 4-1 lead in the first half, but the Remparts battled back to tie the game before halftime. Blues Brothers’ Brian Linovitz would score, late in the second half to break the tie. Kevin West also scored for the Blues Bros (his 3rd goal of the night), but Casey Kleisinger fired back with a goal for the Remparts, in the game’s final 30 seconds. Time would shortly expire, and the Blues Brothers would pick up the 7-6 win, to advance the finals! The Championship Game is now set for next week!
