Last night marked the start of our first ever Winter Draft League, and we had two great games to kick off the season!  First up was the Red Ryders against the Blues Brothers.  Each team had a single goal, heading into the second half.  Midway through the second, Craig Desjarlais and Tim Fialcowitz scored for the Red Ryders.  Down 3-1, Pete Grigelis scored to get the Blues Brothers within one goal, but the scoring would end there.  Ryders’ goalie Dallas Nash was able to fend off the rest of Brothers’ shots, picking up the win!  The final score was Red Ryders: 3, Blues Brothers: 2.  The second game was another close one.  La Flama Blanca, captained by Keith Cross, jumped out to a 4-1 lead against the Blackstreet Boys.  Blackstreet would fight all the way back to tie game, late in the second half.  In the game’s final second, John Coppolino of La Flama Blanca completed his hat trick, squeaking a goal past James Reed.  La Flama Blanca came away with the 5-4 win!
