Loudoun Street Hockey League

We had another great night of hockey tonight!  The Fury jumped out to an early lead against Ovenchicken, with first half goals from John Hines, Christe Lodge, and Rich Wagner.  Dave Newbold of Ovenchicken got on the board in the second half, but his lone goal was not enough, as The Fury added one more to seal the deal on a 4-1 win.  Next up, the Oldballs continued their win streak.  They defeated the Leesburg Lowercases by a score of 14-4.  Jacob Poole had another standout performance, racking up 4 goals and 4 assists.  The final game needed an extra frame to be decided, as the Hawks battled back from a 3-1 deficit to tie the game late in the second half.  Gregg Trawinski scored on a 2-on-1, just seconds into the overtime period, securing the victory for the Hawks.
