Week 2 had some great games, highlighted by the Punisher’s 4-1 victory over the Misfits. Chris Cooper looked sharp in his net-minding debut for the Punishers. Matt McCarthy scored the game winning goal, late in the 2nd half. The Leesburg Lowercases earned their first win of the season, beating Book Hockey by a score of 6-0. Lowercases’ forward, Tim Fialcowitz had a hat trick, and Rob Dalkin picked up the shutout. In the final game of the night, Ovenchicken defeated the Vienna Orange Wings, 6-2. Matt Burton had 3 goals and 2 assists for Ovenchicken.
