Week 1 of our 2016 Fall Season is in the books! The Misfits defeated Ovenchicken by a score of 5-2, in the season opener. John Coppolino had 3 goals for The Misfits, including the game winner. In the second game the Leesburg Lowercases picked up a 3-1 victory against the Hitmen. Rob Dalkin had a standout performance in net, only allowing the single goal to earn the win. The last game of the night was an exciting one between Book Hockey and the Hawks. Tied after regulation, Hawks’ captain Jordan Kunzler would score the deciding goal in overtime. The final score was Hawks: 5, Book Hockey: 4.
