We had two really close and exciting games last night, both decided by only one goal! The first game needed an overtime period, as the Blues Brothers and The Leesburg Hockey Team ended regulation tied 4-4. Hockey Team’s Kevin West would score the game winner in OT, giving his team the 5-4 victory. Both Kevin West and Keith Cross scored a pair of goals for The Leesburg Hockey Team. Next up, Venom pulled off a come-from-behind win against Redtails. Trailing 5-2 in the second half, Venom scored 4 unanswered goals to complete the comeback. Tom Robinson led the way for Venom with 2 goals and 2 helpers, with the key assist coming on John Coppolino’s game winning goal. The final score was Venom: 6, Redtails: 5.
