Week 4’s first game was a close tilt between the Vienna Orange Wings and the Punishers. Shahbaz Ahmed of the Punishers scored a pair of goals late in the 2nd half to secure the victory, as his team edged the Orange Wings by a score of 5-4. The next game continued that trend, as the Leesburg Lowercases and the Misfits battled it out to the final seconds. In the end, The Misfits came out on top, winning 3-2. John Hassan’s early 2nd half goal held up as the game winner. Ovenchicken kept their win streak alive, defeating Book Hockey by a hefty score of 15-0. John Beltrane had a standout performance, scoring 7 goals and picking up 1 assist. Mike Dwyer had the shutout.
