Last night marked the start of our 2019 Fall Season, and it was truly a great night of hockey! In the opening game, Ovenchicken was victorious over Loudoun Obnoxious. Connor Dwyer and Kevin Koss each had a pair of goals for Ovenchicken, in their 7-5 win. Next up, The Misfits earned their first two points of the season, after a tight battle with Easton Fection. James Baden had a standout performance for The Misfits with 3 goals and 1 assist. The final score was Misfits: 4, Easton Fection 3. The final game of the night was another close one between the Hawks and the Leesburg Lowercases. With the score tied 4-4 through the first half, but the Lowercases would strike twice in the second, with goals from Josh Hoppe and Keith Fava. Matt Amling got one goal back for the Hawks, but the defending champion Lowercases held on for the 6-5 win.
