Loudoun Street Hockey League

We had some great first round action last night!  The Misfits kicked things off, with a big 8-4 win over the Leesburg Lowercases.  John Coppolino of The Misfits had a standout performance, scoring 5 goals and adding one assist.  In the second game, Dynamo defeated the Hawks by a score of 5-0.  Scott Webb earned the shutout in goal, and John Hines led Dynamo with 2 goals and 2 assists.  In the last game of evening, Easton Fection was able to knock out the first place Ovenchicken.  The score was tied 3-3, until Jason Gross scored the game winner for Easton Fection, with only a couple minutes remaining!  The final score was Easton Fection: 4, Ovenchicken: 3.  Congratulations to our winning playoff teams, and we’ll see everyone next week for Round 2!
