Loudoun Street Hockey League

As anticipated, Week 1 made for an excellent night of street hockey!  The Misfits looked sharp out of the gates, defeating Book Hockey by a score of 4-0.  John Coppolino led The Misfits in scoring with a pair of goals.  The newly formed team “Dynamo” were victorious in their first game, picking up a 5-3 win over Oldballs.  Dynamo forward John Hines scored 3 goals, including the game winner.  The last game of the evening was a close one between Ovenchicken and the Leeesburg Lowercases.  The Lowercases had the edge early, with goals from Eric King and Keith Cross.  Lowercases took a 2-1 lead into the second half, but Ovenchicken rallied, with a goal from Brian Kurutz and a hat trick by Chris Wilkinson.  The final score was Ovenchicken: 5, Lowercases: 4.  We’ll see everyone next week!
