Ovenchicken picked up their first win of the season, beating the Misfits by a score of 7-3.  Dave Newbold and Chris Wilkinson each had a pair of goals for Ovenchicken.  The second game was a tight battle between Book Hockey and the Leesburg Lowercases.  The Lowercases had  the upper hand early, taking a 3-0 lead into the second half.  Then Book Hockey battled back, in what may have been the greatest comeback in LSHL history.  Kevin Malone scored 2 goals early for Book Hockey, but later the Lowercases netted what everyone thought was their insurance goal.  With under 7 minutes remaining, Malone would score again to complete his hat trick, followed directly by a Chris Daly backhand to tie the game.  In the final 2 minutes, Chris Daly struck again with a nice deflection, and Book Hockey ended up with the 5-4 win.  The final game was a complete blowout with the Punishers defeating the Hawks, 12-1.  Alex Price had a huge night for the Punishers, scoring 5 goals and adding 2 assists.
