The final week of the regular season was an exciting one, with teams still fighting for playoff spots. In the first game, the Leesburg Lowercases clinched a playoff spot, beating the Hawks by a score of 7-3. Keith Cross had 3 goals and 2 assists for the Lowercases. In the second game, the Punishers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 7-3 victory over Book Hockey. Matt McCarthy had 4 goals and 2 assists for the Punishers. Those playoff hopes would be crushed in the final game, as the Misfits picked up a 3-1 win against the Vienna Orange Wings. That win shot them up 3 spots in the standings to clinch the #2 seed! Playoffs start next week!
