Last night marked the start of the 2015 Fall Season! Ovenchicken made short work of the Leesburg Lowercases, beating them by a hefty score of 10-2. Nick Puszert and Matt Burton each had 3 goals for Ovenchicken. The second game was a close one between the Misfits and Vienna Orange Wings. After regulation and OT, the game was tied still 3-3. Brian Lesh of the Misfits was the lone scorer in the shootout, as the Misfits edged the Wings by a final score of 4-3. The Punishers got a great start to their season, picking up an 8-2 win against Book Hockey. Matt McCarthy and Jeff Elbaum led the high powered offense, with 7 goals combined.
