Both games of this week’s final regular season games had playoff seeding on the line, and it made for an excitement night! First up, the Misfires completed their season sweep of No ReGretzkys, locking themselves into the #3 seed. Misfires Center, Eric Hughes, had a standout performance, scoring 4 goals! The final score was Misfires: 7, ReGretzkys: 4. The late game was the battle for first place, as Loudoun Obnoxious looked for a repeat of last week’s game against the Loudoun 57’s. This time the score remained deadlocked after regulation, but it was the 57’s who would emerge victorious in the overtime period. 57’s defenseman, Daniel Heishman, notched the game winner in OT, adding to his first period assist.
