The Semi-Final Playoff Round kicked off last night, with two exciting games. After being down 2-1 for most of the game, the top seed Fade To Black scored two late goals in the second half. Dave Goldberg came through with the tying goal, and Nik Gruver’s go-ahead goal would eventually hold up as the game winner. The final score was Fade To Black: 3, Blues Brothers: 2. In the second matchup, the Benders defeated the Leesburg 58’s by a score of 6-2. John Coppolino had a standout game for the Benders, scoring 3 goals. In two weeks, the Benders will take on Fade To Black for the Championship!
