Week 2’s games were finally played, after two consecutive rain outs, and we had some great hockey! Down 2-1 after the first half, the Blues Brothers battled back against Venom to earn their first victory of the season. Mike Segna led the way for the Bros, scoring the game winning goal and registering 4 points overall (2 goals, 2 assists). The final score was Blues Brothers: 4, Venom: 3. In the second game, Redtails picked up a convincing 10-3 win over The Leesburg Hockey Team. JR Poole was on fire for Redtails, racking up 4 goals and 2 assists. Redtails captain, CJ Schoenherr also had a six-point game, with 3 goals and 3 assists.
