Week 1 for our Fall 2020 Draft Season is in the books! The Leesburg Hockey Team looked strong in their first ever game, defeating Venom by a score of 7-2. Eric Wynn had a standout performance for Leesburg, scoring 3 goals and adding 2 assists. The second game of the night was a close battle between the Blues Brothers and Redtails. In the first half, Redtails got on the board early with goals from Jason DeHenzel and Steve Wynn. Mike Segna would score two goals for the Blues Brothers, but the Redtails’ lone 2nd half goal, scored by DeHenzel would hold up as the game winner. The final score was Redtails: 3, Blues Brothers: 2.
